Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio Ceedee Lamb.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hanging out with us here after practice. You have a
lot of jewelry on. First of all, I'm very distracted
by all of it. It's in a great way. Look good,
feel good, play, feel you know, the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
How do you feel?

Speaker 4 (00:23):
I feel amazing this off day, three days one day off.
That one off day came at the right time. So
feel good to get back at it, be out here
with the guys and building that connection again.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Especially because you missed training camp a little bit of
it last year.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Do you a lot of it?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Do you feel like a kinship right now with Micah
since he's going through what he's going through and you
just went through this, and how did you deal with that?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
What advice did you give him?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
I hate it for him, honestly, just going throughout this process.
Obviously him being one of the superstars on his team.
We know, like he knows how much he means to
this team. But obviously he gotta do what you gotta
do as far as for himself and his family, and
I'm I hate it. I hate it for him, but
I'm happy for you know, he deserves every dollar that
he wants, and I mean rightfully. So, so that's about it.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So in terms of being that you went through that
last year and obviously you can now speak to Micah
in regards to that, what's the feeling once that deal
gets done? Like what does all that go away? Or
is a new blank slate or how you feel after that?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
It's like it's a blank slate.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Obviously all that does go away because everything that you've
done and like the hold out if you will. But
for Micah, him his presence being here and giving guys
credit just a lot of knowledge just being here, I
feel like he's he's taking a lot a lot more
steps than I did forward throughout this process. But man,
once it happens, I know for him it's all about work,
Like he just got to get it done and do
what he gotta do to help us win ball games.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I was here last season and the vibes were different.
Can you tell me from your perspective, because I'm just
I parachute in and then I'm out. But I think
that this is a noticeable difference. Do you agree and
where does.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
That come from?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
I absolutely do it agree, But I.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Do feel like I feel like we brag about our
energy and everything a lot, you know, so like for us,
you just got to be here to see it, you know.
It's one of those type of things. And for us,
it's just building that camaraderie, building that togetherness, and then
once we get out there, we know we want to battle. Obviously,
we have a lot more games and enemy territories, so
all we do is have each other.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
So just getting used to that, that.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Camaraderie and having each other's back is I feel like
it don't get no better than that.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
For the people that are at home that don't understand
it and doesn't happen necessarily been in the locker rooms
like we have, help them understand what does a culture?

Speaker 5 (02:34):
How does that impact you as a player?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Right, you get to this highest level of competition in
your field and people think that it's supposed to be
all business. Help people understand the culture and how important
is to be fun with your teammates.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Absolutely, I mean we're here more times than we are
anywhere else in the world, honestly, and sometimes more than
we are with our family.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
So like this becomes your family.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
You becoming to adapt to the new era, the new change,
and just you want to enjoy your workspace, enjoy your environment,
and then you know, again building that togetherness and then
I understanding what another like, understanding why he's playing this game,
how long they've been playing.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
It's a lot of ins and outs.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
And then once you're going to battle with those guys,
you know what he's fighting for, you know who he's
playing for. And I feel like that's that's the best
part about this game, just knowing want another story and
then going out there to battle for it.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
What's it like having George Pickens here in camp and
tell me a little bit about fifty fifty balls with
you guys?

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Amazing, It's amazing. Love looking down the sideline and seeing
that guy over there. And then obviously when we get
one on one coverage we get we both get anty.
So it's wherever the ball goes up. We know we
got to handle our business and do we got to
do as far as bringing it in. But we like
our chances.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Obviously.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Now I've been telling people all week long that they
have to make some business decisions on defense. Now, obviously
you got you on one side, you got George on
the other, and you got Furd coming back to Jake
Fist in the middle. So the impact of having that
three headed monsteret receiver that can receive the ball, Now,
what does that do to defense is and what does.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
That do to you in terms of your matchup?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
She's the minus obviously if they're going to have their
times where they shadow or they cloud one another.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
One receiver, one target, but then obviously.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
That's when the guy has to step up, and it's
kind of it is more mandatory than not. And we
all understand that situation as soon as we understand that
we got the one on one coverage, so we know
we got to win. And I mean, what better is
it than to have three ones and three guys that
can go get it and have and create space.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
So what did the trip to Paris Fashion Week do
for you?

Speaker 5 (04:24):
I feel like the swag went up.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
My swag always going up. And I'm gonna just be honest.
I take a lot of product looking good and feeling good.
I just want to know what's new. So just going
out to parising their different vibes, creating new energy and
meet new people, I feel like it's always fun.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
It's all about new energy here. I let them brow
my jeary this time around.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Tell everybody.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
CD thank you and good luck this season.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Well, I appreciate you.
