Speaker 3 (00:41):
Willie, what's up.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
Welcome, I'm hip man.
Speaker 6 (00:46):
I'm hip. Thanks for having me in the building.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
We're talking Steelers, we're talking chats.
Speaker 6 (00:50):
I have a very personal question.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
I want to ask Willie and ask them shortly.
Speaker 6 (00:53):
And that is the tease.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
We're getting into everything today, starting with the AFC East.
Speaker 7 (00:57):
Let's begin the show now, Good mom.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Hello, everybody, Welcome in.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
I can't believe that you guys once again, everyone is
coordinating colors.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I did not.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Get the red or maroon memo unfortunately, but you guys
look great.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
This is a lovely day. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
To start, Colleen, I want to set the table. If
you're talking wardrobe now, Willie and I have talked about
this in the past. Okay, Willie infamously did not wear
socks under his cleat this dude would strap on high
top spikes with no socks.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
I never heard of it before.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I never heard of it since Willie, Are you wearing
socks right now?
Speaker 6 (01:47):
I'm actually not. I'm not. I'm not wearing socks. I'm
staying true to who I am.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
Man.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
I hate socks, man, They make my feet hot and
I just can't stand it.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
How about that, matth, I ever heard that before.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I play with cleats, no socks, no he no blisters, man,
you know, no blisters.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
I've been fortunate enough to just flat out and just ride.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Man.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
I used to cut the bottoms of my socks off
and just spat and I got away with it. So
that's that's that's who I am.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Incredible thing, Wow, screws, It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
I mean, imagine wearing sneakers without socks, like, I mean, no,
where did you keep these things? Like in the garage outside?
Speaker 6 (02:30):
Incredible?
Speaker 5 (02:31):
Yeah, they don't smell. Well, I'll tell you that brute.
I used to get a lot of harassment in the
locker room.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Let's start through the lead block.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
And as you mentioned, Kyle to the AFC East the Patriots,
Drake May talked yesterday at his press conference after the
Patriots drafted big Will Campbell offensive linemen to protect their quarterback.
Right there, Drake May and uh, you know just one
of the reasons the Patriots. May is ready to get
things going. He's so excited about this new offense and
(03:03):
a new coach.
Speaker 6 (03:06):
I'm pumped.
Speaker 8 (03:07):
I think, you know, a lot of new faces, a
lot of guys, a lot of veterans that played at
a high level. I think you know, we we we
kind of found answers a lot different spots. I hopefully
can can plug and play. And I think that's what
you know, the point of free agency is. I think
guys that come in here and help us win, help
us win now. And I think you had that. It
was some young talent that we've had in the past
a couple of drafts. And I think hopefully we're head
in the right direction. Just looking forward to you starting
(03:27):
the game plan. I know it's far away, but I
think you kind of get the itched now.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
So he also mentioned Stefan Diggs. It'll be cool to
throw to a receiver who's.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Made plays like him. So now they're setting up Drake May.
And as I mentioned, Mike Rabel, now this is his era,
This is his time is chapter.
Speaker 6 (03:44):
Let's talk a little bit.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
About the expectations for the Patriots.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
Man, Tai, what do you think, how's this going to go? Well,
how's it going to go? I think it's going to
be better.
Speaker 9 (03:51):
The expectations are are more positive than they were last year.
And I know that Drake May is excited to your
point calling to throw to Stefan Diggs because last year
his number one target was Hunter Henry, his tied end.
And so my only concern about that signing is what
do you do with Pop Douglas? Pop Douglas was your
number two receiver? But they play the same position, Ti, right,
It's kind of like a poker and a cool Cooper
(04:11):
Cup situation where they both play slot receiver.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
So that's going to be something that I'm going to
look at.
Speaker 9 (04:16):
I think a lot of their acquisitions this offseason were great.
Harold Landry was in Tennessee with Mike Rabel, So what
does that do for Mike Rabel? Now you don't have
to just implement your culture from a coaching standpoint. You
have somebody inside the locker room that can tell his teammates, Hey,
this is what coach expects, this is how the coach
is going to be be five minutes, ten minutes early
(04:36):
to meetings.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
If or not, this is what's going to happen.
Speaker 9 (04:38):
So Howard Landry being there are Another big signing was Milton
Williams from the Eagles.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
He fortifies that D line.
Speaker 9 (04:44):
But again, culture, culture, culture, That's what we've been hearing
all offseason long from Mike Vrabel and the Patriots staff
is I'm going to instill a new culture. Will you
bring over a Super Bowl winning D lineman and he
not only gives you that presence, but he also helps
you to instill that culture. So Drake May said, veterans
that played at a high level. I think the person
that I'm most excited for isn't a player. He once
(05:05):
was a player, but he's a coach in Mike Rabel.
See Mike Rabel. If you look at the Patriots, their
old line really struggled last year, but Mike Rabel specifically
goes into the.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
O line room and works with him KB.
Speaker 9 (05:18):
How many times have we seen Mike Rabel with that
with that big pad on his chest that he straps
on and he literally goes all the whole with his
own lineman. So that is the position that needs the
most improvement. They've brought, you know, guys around him. They
drafted Will Campbell, but again, having Mike Rabel there to
help that old line, with the meticulous work that he's
(05:39):
going to do, I think it really puts him in
a different position, and so my expectation for.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
Him is a little higher. Okay, wait Will Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
For me, it's tough because I was a fan of
Gerard Mayo, having played against him obviously he was the
former coach of the New England Patriots last year, but
he was.
Speaker 6 (05:54):
Somebody who I thought.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Was really going to be a tenured coach, a guy
who's going to be out the seat for a long time.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
But Manti is right.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Man, Like I, Mike Rabel was one of those guys
he played. He was tough, he played with an unfiltered mouth,
and he was roothless. On top of that, one thing
he brings to the table is oral history, right, and
that's important because when we have oral history, you can
talk about the times when you were a Patriot and
how great this team was and how they approached their
day to day work, and what he brought to the
(06:22):
table and what the team brought to the field each
and every Sunday. So I agree from that standpoint. But
what he also brings is new blood. You know, you
talked about having fourteen new faces in the building, Hugh,
You talk about getting rid of some of the old
vets like Captain Joe Cardona, you talk about releasing David Andrews. Like,
bottom line is Mike Rabels bringing the old and the new,
(06:42):
and he's doing it with.
Speaker 6 (06:43):
A metal back. You know, this guy's a tough football player.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
He wants tough guys who love to travel on the
road and bring the a game. I expect the Patriots
to be a sleeping doll that's gonna wake.
Speaker 6 (06:51):
Up and be ready to roll this season.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
You mentioned Joe Cardona's significant He's the long snapper who
was released after ten seasons. Cardona was the last link
to the Super Bowl era. There is no player on
the Patriots roster who was there winning, playing like this
is all completely new and speaking of new, let's play
a game here amongst the four of us right now.
A year ago, I remember vividly like the Patriots were
(07:14):
looked at as team thirty two. They were just no
one thought anything of them, No one picked them to
make the playoffs. They certainly didn't make the playoffs, and
that was even reflected in the offseason odds to make
the playoffs. I have right here the DraftKings odds in
the teams most likely to make the playoffs this year
and then least likely. I want to go around the
horn and guess where the Patriots land, just for context.
(07:35):
The Bills they have at number one, most likely team
to make the playoffs, and the Browns they have least likely.
So I'll start Willy Mantai. Colleen, just guess what the
number is and where the twenty twenty five Patriots ranked
to make the playoffs.
Speaker 6 (07:48):
What do you got? Wait? Tenth, tenth, tenth, Manti? I
say twenty.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Sixth twenty four, okay, ten, twenty six, twenty four the winner.
Speaker 6 (08:00):
It's actually a tie.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
It's a tie between Willie Colie and they're seventeenth. They're seventeenth,
So split ten and twenty four. Seventeenth is a huge
jump from a year ago. To go from thirty two
to like we were barely recognized as a team to
seventeen is.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
Really really big.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
The other thing we do, certainly on this show and
on this network, is if we were to do thirty
two of these segments where we say, what do we
think about the twenty twenty five Patriots, It's all they're
so great, they're gonna make a huge jump, They're going
to the playoffs.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
They're amazing.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Like, there's gonna be thirty two playoff teams if you
watch these segments. I'm not making this one of those teams.
I don't think the Patriots are going to make a
massive jump. I don't think you want to compare them
to last year's Commanders and all that stuff. No, no, no,
They're still in in the division with one of the biggest,
baddest bullies in the league. They have different jets, different Dolphins.
I'm not ready. I think the Patriots a year away,
(08:51):
and I don't apologize for saying that. Also, Mike vrabelm
I went back and looked at his first year as
the Titans head coach. The Titans had gone nine and seven,
nine and seven. He comes in and they go nine
and seven. It was not this big Jim harbough T jump.
It was not a massive turnaround. I think the Patriots
are still way in terms of talent. And the other
thing I think is the Patriots right now are the
(09:12):
team that is the draft, Darling.
Speaker 6 (09:14):
All of the draft grades or they nailed it.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
They crushed it, which makes me actually root against them
because I hate draft grades.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
But everyone is on the Patriots now.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Rabel's badass, May is good and they crushed the draft.
Even though we don't know if they crushed the draft.
I'm gonna zag a little bit here. I still think
they need more talents. I think they'll win a few
more games this year, but I don't think they're gonna
be a playoff team.
Speaker 6 (09:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
Listen, I was a part of a four and twelve
team when I was with the New York Jets, and
it's brutal, but one thing that we did the next.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
Year, will responded.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
How we responded was being able to understand that, Listen,
last year's last year and this is a new year.
If you turn on the tape for the New England Patriots, yeah,
they didn't have a lot of firepirate. They didn't have
the guys up front to make hand get on the scoreboard,
but they fought hard. This defense showed up Sunday after
Sunday and really tried their best. Now, I know trying
is one thing, but getting it done is another thing.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
I noticed when a.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
New year comes upon you, man, you have more bloodlust
because you understand everybody's counted you out. And that's why
the impointance of Mike Brabel being in the building is
huge because he's telling these guys, listen, what we were
last year is last year, who were going to be
this year? We're going to be what I say, We're
going to be tough, resilient, in your face, and unapologetic
very much how Mike Rabel played the game. And that's
(10:21):
why I'm excority for him to be the new head
coach of the new Indian Patriot.
Speaker 9 (10:24):
Yeah, Willie, you and I and we're all just talking
about Mike Rabel. And I wrote down what KB said.
I mean they were thirty second you said KB last year.
Now you're saying they're seventeen. So that means there's fourteen
teams that whoever produced that thing thinks that the Patriots
are better than But if you look at the roster
is pretty much the same roster.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
So what's the jump. The only big difference.
Speaker 9 (10:45):
Is now you have a new head coach, which brings
new life, which brings new expectation, It brings new faith
and hope, and whatever you want, all those little adjectives
that you want to talk about. So I think it's
just goes to show the big difference and the impact
that Mike Vrabel has had on that team so far,
not on the inside that locker.
Speaker 6 (11:03):
Room, but outside.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
He's a known commodity, not just to the organization itself,
the Patriots, but also as a head coach previously, so
this is not like a first year guy walking into
a brand new organization. Not that these players have worked
with him, all of them before, but some have, so
there's a little bit of overlap. I also like what
they did in the second round with Trevon Henderson, adding
a running back there, one of the most explosive running
(11:26):
backs in the entire draft. He can also run routes,
so he's got good pass blocking as well. I mean, listen,
he is a real deal that can change things as
long as the offensive line can work well and also
block for him. So when you look at Drake May, guys,
the fact that now he has Josh McDaniels who's also
back in New England, what do you expect for Drake
(11:46):
May specifically in this year for him, Yeah, I.
Speaker 9 (11:49):
Just think it's I think It's pretty pretty funny how
we were talking about how coach vrabel has got rid
of all the old Patriot regime as far as the players,
but then he goes and brings Josh mcdonield back. But
this is what I expect from Josh McDaniel and and
Drake May and the offense. I think that Drake May
is going to be a lot more calculated. Look at
(12:09):
Josh McDonel and how's he's helped his quarterbacks all the
way back to Tom Brady, the type of systems. He's
a system offensive coordinator. He looks at what he has,
He looks at his quarterback specifically, and how many coaches
do we have in the NFL that our quarterback friendly.
Kevin O'Connell is one of the best, and look what
he did with Sam Darnold. So if you look at
Josh McDaniel, he's going to take Drake May and he's
(12:31):
going to help him to be more calculated. He's going
to look at his whole offense and say, hey, what
are the things that we don't do so well?
Speaker 6 (12:37):
What are the things that we do extremely well? Well?
Speaker 9 (12:39):
Right right now, we don't block so well, So let's
get this ball out quick.
Speaker 6 (12:42):
Let's establish this run game.
Speaker 9 (12:44):
And you know you mentioned Trevon Henderson and remind Dre Stevenson.
Speaker 6 (12:48):
Let's get that running game going now. We can get
the ball.
Speaker 9 (12:50):
Out of Drake May's hand fast, because I remember last
year we had a debate about whether Drake May should
start right away or if they should hold him out,
and I was saying that they should.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
They should keep him on the sideline, just save him.
What's at I mean, he was standing on a table.
Put him in, Put him in, put him in.
Speaker 9 (13:08):
But then I remember we watched one game and we
saw how Brissette was just getting killed back there, and
Kaby came back online, but he's like, you know what,
I changed my mind.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
Don't play him?
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Why because he's going to get killed.
Speaker 9 (13:21):
And so I think that based on all of those
different factors, Josh McDonel looks at it and says, hey, listen,
this is the system that best fits us and best
fits Drake Man.
Speaker 6 (13:30):
It's going to be a little bit more efficient.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
Kyle.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, Man, TI, you remember what I said last September.
I don't remember what I said ninety seconds ago, Like
I have no idea what I said about Brossett or
anything like that. But here's what I will say about
Drake May. Now, he didn't kill it as a rookie,
all right, and because he's not getting talked about a lot,
because Patrins didn't win any games, and because Jayden Daniels
made history. But it's a weird thing. I think we
all kind of believe in Drake May. He didn't have
(13:54):
huge numbers, he didn't have a signature win at the
end of a bad season. He just kind of looked
the part. That's the best way I can say it.
Will he's not and like he looked like he seems
like he has it, and that's fine. I don't begrudge
him that it was a really bad team with the
bat offensive line, and he survived and he kind of
looked good. Sometimes. The thing is, I look at Stefan
Diggs as the addition. Normally you'd be like, oh, you
(14:16):
bring in the old guy, and he's gonna be the
wide receiver two and two to the young guys. I
think they need like eighty catches out of Diggs this year.
Speaker 6 (14:23):
They need huge production. I don't like the wide receiver room.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
I don't love it, certainly, especially if you're going to
try to make a playoff run this year. They need
big stuff from this guy, and Drake May has to
make a big jump from being a really promising looking
rookie to like, listen, we're on the second year.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Now.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Second year quarterbacks do insane things. First year quarterbacks do
insane things. We're on the clock, and it's like, if
the Patriots go six and eleven this year, it's not
going to be looked at as well, we're taking steps,
gonna be looking at what the hell we have a
quarterback and a coach.
Speaker 6 (14:52):
And we didn't win. The expectations are different now with Yeah,
I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
I think for me, when I think about Droy Commey,
I'm listening, you went three and nine as a store
to fifteen touchdowns, ten interceptions, But I expect the game
to slow down for him, and I think that's why
it was huge for them to get Will Campbell to
kind of lock up this line at least start building
on it, because listen, this office of line gave up
fifty two sacks on a season that's beaten.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
There's no way around it.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
And if you want this young quarterback to thrive in
this league, you're going to have to keep him up right.
I felt Will Campbell and his ability to lock down
the left side of this line for the newly Patriots
is going to allow Drake May to process the game
in a slower fashion, which allows him to use his
athleticism and also see the field and go through his progressions.
I like Drake May, but I'm like Kyle Man, you
(15:34):
just gonna have to show me more now anymore.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
Just need more.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
And hopefully that more comes with him being able to
slow the game down, making the dak and dunks, stretching
the ball down the field, and when he needs to
use his athleticism. But overall, he's going to have to
take a big jump in year.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Two for me.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Yeah, and when you look at what Jayden Daniels did
last year, the next best quarterback at completing passes among
all the rookies, that was Drake May. So we did
see those flashes and we saw those moments. So with
he was doing that behind that offensive line, hopefully now
he can be a little bit more comfortable, have a
little bit more time to operate, and maybe his guys
(16:11):
can get a little.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Bit more open.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
So Drake May obviously is at the beginning of his career.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
But Aaron Rodgers, where is he in all of this?
We're gonna talk a little bit from I need to
know what Willy thinks about this.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Yeah, all right, that guy's coming in here.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
You know who that is.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
That was a sharp left turn we took from Aaron Rodgers, and.
Speaker 7 (16:35):
Now we're looking at group pictures of walking Dead.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
That guy is Niagan.
Speaker 10 (16:39):
He crushes people with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire,
and yet he loves the Seahawks, and he's like the
nicest person and maybe the greatest disparity between his character
and the actual person in Hollywood history.
Speaker 6 (16:50):
He's coming in here.
Speaker 7 (16:51):
Don't go anywhere, deadheads, don't stay with us.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Good mon, welcome back, everybody, look alive.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
We're gonna take some of the headlines out there and
see if we are buying or we should keep on trying.
So I'm gonna make a statement. You guys know how
this game goes. You tell me if you're buying or
keep trying. First up, we're gona talk about the Titans here.
They took quarterback camp Ward with the first overall pick
in last week's draft, but head coach Brian Callahan spoke
to reporters yesterday, and he's not ready to hand him
the starting job quite yet.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
Playing hard to get.
Speaker 11 (17:29):
They'll have plenty of opportunities. How those reps get shaken
out will sort of be determined by how they perform
when given opportunities. That part of it's been been thought out.
It's we have a plan in place, and what that
looks like is going to ultimately be sort of up
to them, you know, and how their performance goes when
when there's time to perform. So feel good about the
process and the plan in place, and there's gonna be
(17:50):
plenty reps for those guys to compete and get better
and improve and be ready to play in September.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
Okay, so the number one overall pick might not start.
According to Brian Callahan, he's not going to give him
the keys quite yet. I just wonder how long that's
going to last. At what point did does he finally
say okay, yeah, no, of course he's starting. Could the Titans, though,
at this point, be this year's commanders buy in or
keep trying?
Speaker 6 (18:13):
Willie? I say keep trying.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
I say keep trying. I think that's unfair to the
young man. But when I think about cam Ward I
think competitor, and I also like what Brian Callan has done.
Speaker 6 (18:23):
He's brought vets in the building.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
You're talking about Tyler Locker, You're talking about Varon Jefferson, you.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Talk about Calvin Ridley. They're really putting pieces around him.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Wherever Cam goes, he has somebody with experience and data
how to navigate his career and navigate himself on the
football field.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
I think overall, what Brian Callahan has.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
Done, he's really getting guys around, guys who have played
at a high level with big time games, which is
important because I tell you what guys and man Ty
can attest to this. Good teams have good conversations on
the practice field, right, especially when you have young guys.
Speaker 6 (18:50):
On the field.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
They want to talk about the migos and what they
did last night.
Speaker 6 (18:54):
When you have vets who played the.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
Big time games and played big time football, they've talked
about mechanics. They talk about how to get the job
done on Sunday. So if you have a merging of
that type of clature, sure, that's how you build a
locker room. That's how you build a culture in the
building with the young guys to say, hey, man, how
do I win on this old fella.
Speaker 6 (19:11):
He can lean on Tyler Lockett.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
I if I got talked to Calvin Rilly Man, I
got the safety this week. I gotta get up over
the top. I got lean on him. What can I do?
You have guys in the building who have that expertise.
So this is big for cam Ward. Can they do
with the Washington Commanders do I don't know. That's yet
to be seen, but I think right now, I think
they just have to worry about being the Tennessee Titans
and the new Tennessee Titans that can take over this division.
Speaker 9 (19:32):
Yeah, I'm with you on that, Willie. I'm going to
keep trying train as well. And you know you talk
about cam WARDI you know, Willi, you brought up a
great point of about the conversations that I had between
the good teams and the bad teams of what these
young players that are coming into the NFL with all
these nil deals and all of that stuff, and the
type of conversations that are had on teams that you
were on, Willy, that were on Super Bowls. It's just
a different conversation. What I do like about cam Ward
(19:54):
is when he was with Shador Sanders in the summer.
You see those conversation and conversations with chadeor going back
and forth, and you know cam wod said, Man.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
All I do is play football a football player. I'm
a football player. I'm a football player. So that's a
plus for Brian Callahan.
Speaker 9 (20:08):
So can can these guys be the Washington Commanders? Listen,
everybody wants to be the Washington Commanders. Everybody was talking
to in the draft that they want to be the
find the next Jayden Daniels. That the fact of the
matter is this, you don't have Jayden Daniels without Cliff Kingsbury.
You don't have It's like peanut butter and jelly. They
go together. If you have a Jayden Daniels, but you
don't have a system that functions and uses Jaden daniels
(20:30):
strengths at his best, You're not going to have what.
Speaker 6 (20:33):
The Commanders had.
Speaker 9 (20:34):
But for the Tennessee Titans, you do have Brian Callahan
who was with the Cincinnati Bengals, and thanks Rich homy Kwan.
When Brian Callahan was with the Bengals and Joe Burrow
was the quarterback, Joe Burrow had had the third best
completion percentage in the NFL. So put that with cam
Ward who if you look at cam Warden, I'm not
saying can.
Speaker 6 (20:53):
Warder is Joe Burrow.
Speaker 9 (20:54):
But what I am saying is Brian Callahan knows how
to coach quarterbacks. And if you look at the Tennessee
Titans team, they really need that quarterback because Willie, you
brought it up their depth chart and who they brought in.
They have a lot of weapons over there in Tennessee.
So I'm not going to say that they're going to
be this year's Commanders. But what I am going to
say is, you know, watch out for those Titans.
Speaker 6 (21:13):
It's a pretty tall order to be the Commanders, guys.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
I mean, like we're talking about the Titans, number one
overall pick. The Commanders knocked the Lions out of the playoffs.
The Commanders were in the NFC title. That was an
historic season for the Commanders. So no, keep trying that
not going to be the Commanders. But listen, it was c. J.
Stroud two years ago in the Texans. Then it was
Jaden it was the Commanders. Now is it cam Ward?
You got to have a hell of a season for
(21:37):
cam Ward to make this team the team that really
really matters.
Speaker 6 (21:40):
And the thing I like about cam warden and there's
a lot to like.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Cam Ward threw over twenty three hundred passes in college.
Trevor Lawrence has not thrown that many in the NFL.
He's been in the league four years.
Speaker 6 (21:51):
Tua has not thrown that many in the NFL. He's
been in the league five years.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
So this guy has played so much football, granted, all
over the place and at universities that people can't even
find on a map. But I'm a huge, huge fan
of cam Ward.
Speaker 6 (22:04):
Saying that's just to say it.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Most people are apathetic about cam Ward. Most people are
apathetic about the Titans. And my take on the Titans
this year was I don't think they're gonna be the Commanders.
I do think we will be talking about them. And
I'm proud of us because we are one of the
few shows in history to talk about the Tennessee Titans
and Good Morning Football we remember the Titans. And I
feel like we should have a counter about how many
segments we do about the Titans between now and September.
(22:28):
We've already done one right here, so we have more
than all the other shows will. But I want to
count them, and I think they'll give us more once
the season starts. Listen, eight and nine's on the table
for the Titans this year. Hell yes, you jump on that.
The Commanders are in the ether. That was a really
special season. They'll be documentaries about. I think Cam woardon
the Titans. Give them something to talk about is a
big improvement.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
And I also want to say this, I think if
you're the Titans right now, I understand who's been the
top dog of your division.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
That's the Houston Texans. Like so you look at CIJ.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
Stroud, and you look at their defense, and you look
at what they bring to the field. They bring a
brand of football where it travels. When you talk about
Tennessee Titans, they don't travel will right, and they don't
even play home at home. So right now they got
to get into the mindset like, hey, we got to
dominate at home, we got to kick butt on the road,
and we gotta do what the big boys are front.
I like the addition of Kevin Zeitler. I like the
fact that they have Jeffery Simmons. I'm a big fan
(23:16):
of ball broad. They got to get beef in the
trenches and they got to run the ball better to
to help compliment cam Ward. So I like the Titans, man,
but they just need they got much more work ahead
of them.
Speaker 6 (23:25):
Yeah. I think we're you know, we're all in the
same train. We're all going to keep trying train. You know. Kyle,
you said that your expectation is that they're going to
go eight and nine.
Speaker 9 (23:31):
The question was are they going to be this year's Commanders? Well,
the Commanders are in an NFC championship game. So if
that's not what they are, I want to go around
a table real quick, KB, Willie calling, what do you
think going after the season, if we look back at
the twenty twenty five Titans team like this is what's
a good This would be a good year for them. KB,
you said ada and nine? What does that look like?
Did they make the playoffs?
Speaker 6 (23:52):
What does that look like?
Speaker 2 (23:53):
It's like cam Ward is a guy like he can play.
Is a little bit like the Broncos last year with
Nicks or even the Patriots who lost the Ton, But
they have a quarterback. I don't even almost care what
the Titans record is this year. Make improvement, sure, but
we have the franchise quarterback with the number one overall
pick I don't really care how the record washes out
of for that.
Speaker 6 (24:11):
What do you think, will I'm.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
Coming off the top ropes, KB Man. You want to see
cam Ward's just be a guy. Yeah, let the mouth
match the play. And at the end of the day,
if they a wildcard team, that's a big plus.
Speaker 6 (24:20):
So I got them wild click, Okay, I like that.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
I mean, I'm not saying that the Titans are going
to go from three wins all the way to playing in.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
The AFC Championship game.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
That's a huge jump.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
But yeah, we will see improvement and I could see
them winning seven games.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Eight games, Kyle, I feel like that's right in that
sweet spot.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
But look at their wide receivers.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
They have Tyler Lockett, they have Van Jefferson, Calvin Ridley.
None of them are I mean, Tyler Lockett has been
in the league for a while at this point, and
Van Jefferson I want to see him stay on the
field all season long. And Calvin Ridley, I want him
to reach the expectations that we all have for him
and that we've all had for him for so long.
So if cam Ward is the guy that can get
(25:02):
that out of Calvin Ridley. Then that's wonderful and everyone wins.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
That are Titans fans back here on Good Morning Football.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
As we've been continuing talking about Willie Colone not wearing socks,
which is just absolutely mind blowing.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Omar Ruiz, do you have socks on today?
Speaker 12 (25:17):
I do have socks, Colleen, real quick. I know you're
in Green Bay last week for the draft. What was
your favorite moment there?
Speaker 6 (25:22):
Favorite moment?
Speaker 4 (25:23):
I mean, I loved when Roger Goodell came out on
the bike in the Travis Scott air Force one lows.
Those were beautiful and very unexpected.
Speaker 12 (25:30):
I'm surprised you didn't say when the schedule release announcement
come on.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
It's the announcement of the announcement.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
That was my top choice, Colleen.
Speaker 12 (25:37):
As we know, there were so many great stories from
the draft, but maybe none better than defensive end Baron sore.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
Who is drafted by the Packers. Sorel was in.
Speaker 12 (25:46):
Attendance in Green Bay for the draft and then stuck
around until the fourth round before hearing his name called.
He joined the insiders and talked about the decision to
stick around to get his hug from Roger Goodell.
Speaker 13 (25:58):
So I've been offend in this league for a very
long time, and imani watch it. You watched the draft
of year in a year out, and I knew that
going into this year that obviously I'll be drafts going
on that that's the goal, that's what I want to do.
So it was very fortunate to have that opportunity. My
agent worked it out with the staff at the NFL.
Very thankful for them for having me there. And obviously
(26:19):
my projected day was day two, but they still took
me in and everything, and I was able to do
everything with all the other prospects out there throughout the week,
but my day that I was in the Great room
was day two and it didn't turn out the way
we plan But just thankful to the NFL staff, thankful
to the Commissioner, to the NFL legends and everybody, and honestly,
most importantly just God, because without him none of this
(26:42):
is possible. But made that decision to come back the
next day, and it was very thankful for that decision.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Really cool story.
Speaker 6 (26:49):
In other words, another news.
Speaker 12 (26:51):
Last year's star rookie Raiders tight end brought Powers hasn't
been in attendance at the team's voluntary workouts, but not
because of a contract holdout or injury anything like that.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Powers is actually.
Speaker 12 (27:01):
In Georgia finishing up his college to Bower's, getting a
degree in finance, which I'm sure will help him win
his time for a new contract, which could be a
blockbuster one in the make good for brock Bauers for
getting that done. And when we come back, Kile will
be joined by actor and huge Seahawks fan Jeffrey Dean.
Speaker 6 (27:21):
Morgan will put him on the.
Speaker 12 (27:23):
Spot ask him his favorite Seahawks of all time.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
There are many many actors who are sports fans.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
We've had many of them on the show.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
I don't think any of them are as passionate about
being sports fans as this guy. You know him, You've
seen him. He's in a million different things, and he
is back as Nagan and season two of Walking Dead,
Dead City, it's Jeffrey Dean, Bleep and Morgan.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
What's the how are we doing? Kyle? Thanks for having
me row was life. It's good. His life is good.
Speaker 14 (28:07):
It's good to be back in the city and seeing you.
And it's weird not having everybody here.
Speaker 6 (28:12):
No tell me about it. Yeah, it's just a solo
guy now, huh. I'm a solo guy.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
I'm kind of like the Sam Donald of the show.
Speaker 6 (28:19):
I'm going to have to.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
If people don't know, j DM is a massive Seahawks fan.
We're a long long way from Seattle, so let's just
jump in with both feet right now. Really, may one,
how are you feeling? What is the state of the
nation of the Seattle Seahawks right now?
Speaker 6 (28:35):
Man?
Speaker 14 (28:35):
I it's been the last couple of years have been odd,
and the coaching change, and you know, I had a
little heartbreak with that, but I'm growing into it all.
And then getting rid of Gino. And you knew when
Pete came back into coaching he was going to come
and start swiping Seahawks.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
I knew it.
Speaker 14 (28:52):
I think everybody probably knew it. I was hoping it
wouldn't be Gino. But then to come back with Sam Donald,
I think is not a bad deal if we got
an offensive line, right, I mean the thing with Sam
last year and he was amazing. Vikings had a hell
of an offensive line. Seattle hasn't had an offensive line
in how many years?
Speaker 6 (29:12):
Since twenty fifteen at least? Yeah?
Speaker 14 (29:15):
Exactly right, So draft, finally after a decade, what.
Speaker 6 (29:22):
Do you think? Very happy Okay, good, good, veryhead.
Speaker 14 (29:25):
Some people get this pointed, You're like it, yeah, no,
our first pick, our first three picks, I'm super excited about.
And then to get a quarterback like we got, I
think what we see in him is a future Lamar Jackson.
Hell yeah, right, so let have Sam have a couple
of years and then we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
I love that you usually spawned very optimistic, and here
we go.
Speaker 6 (29:45):
This is our guy.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
This Taylor Milroe is fast runs. They we had a
report around last week that said he is it chuck
to several people said he is the best running quarterback
they have ever scouted in their career, which.
Speaker 14 (29:59):
Is crazy because you think about Lamar, you think about Vic.
Speaker 6 (30:01):
I mean there's they say he's better.
Speaker 14 (30:03):
Look knock on plexit. Okay, it sounds cool, Yeah, it
sounds awesome. So if we'd have some packages for him
this year, I mean, I'd like to see him on
the field immediately in some packages. Let's say, well, I
think so well, you mentioned Pete and I'm going to
jump ahead to this because Pete Carroll, when he leaves
the Seahawks, you had I thought a very thoughtful post
on social media.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
This was not just a coaching change for you. I know,
this really really meant something what you were in your feelings.
Speaker 6 (30:27):
Tell us about it.
Speaker 14 (30:29):
I mean, I just Pete. To me, it kind of
represents the Seahawks culture. And I think what he did
with Seattle in bringing us to the super Bowl and
for years kind of Seattle just was a very mediocre team.
Now you know, we were six seven wins each and
within two years in there, we were a legit, you know,
(30:50):
playoff contender threat in the playoffs and then super Bowl
and then super Bowl and and I think the culture
he brought and the culture he brought to the team
was something that we really missed. Uh And he's also
an extraordinary person. To meet him is to love him,
and uh, I was it was a sad day for me,
(31:13):
But I look, I love new coach and uh I think, uh,
I think he's got a little Pete blood in him
and the enthusiasm he brings. But now that Pete's back
with with Los Angeles Raiders or not Vegas he used
to be in l A.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
Yeah, yeah, I still want to call him Oakland.
Speaker 14 (31:33):
I know it's going to be hard not to kind
of pull for the Raiders. When they're not playing the Hawks.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Yeah, like it's going to be straight the silver and
black on Pete. And you know that he's going to
do that Pete enthusiasm.
Speaker 14 (31:44):
Playing and everything competition, it works, and you know that
they're all going to buy into his enthusiasm because because it's.
Speaker 6 (31:52):
It's so contagious. And he came and got Gino.
Speaker 14 (31:56):
You know, the first thing he does as a Raider coaches,
get our quarterback. And then he went after Kenny Walker
and I was like, okay, Pete could slow it down,
like I love you, but.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
Dinasts with my team at that one point, like leave
us some guys.
Speaker 6 (32:09):
We're talking to walking dead Dead City. Shortly. You mentioned enthusiasm.
You were at Seahawks Jets last year.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Yes, I was, and this was this crazy comeback and
Leonard Williams has this massive ninety two.
Speaker 6 (32:21):
Yard pick six.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
We have the advantage here, as you know, in our show,
we have videotape. We have every play in NFL history
that we can show, and we're showing this.
Speaker 6 (32:29):
Damn it. Get into this play by play. How oh
my god I was.
Speaker 14 (32:33):
I was screaming my ass off already because I was
looking downfield like I was like, I think he can
do it, and then about here I was like, he's
going to collapse, and he did it.
Speaker 6 (32:44):
A big cat had a hell of a year. It's
at an incredible he what a year he had an athlete.
Speaker 14 (32:49):
One of the more exciting things that happened last year
was his play, I know, and it was a big
deal and I'm kind of excited to see. I will
say our defense is dangerous.
Speaker 6 (33:01):
It's looking really good like the day. I do like
d a lot.
Speaker 14 (33:05):
I still think we could probably use another corner or two.
But man, I think we've really shored it up. And
I love this kid we just drafted with the number
two pick, but I can't say his last name.
Speaker 6 (33:16):
Do you have it in front of Yeah? This young draft.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
In fact, guys, I want to I want Jeff and
have everybody look at do you have the draft?
Speaker 6 (33:23):
Yes? There we go.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
All right, so you're talking with me, you're talking about
nick amount of worry.
Speaker 14 (33:27):
Yes, safety is a Cam Chancellor, mini Cam Chancellor, and
I say that with I so hope he really is.
But yeah, he is a big, strong specimen of a man,
and I think that he coached him up and he's
going to be dangerous. He might be a plug in
play guy to start right away.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
See this is what I'm saying. This guy goes down
the depth chart in the draft. He's not just all
who did they take in the first is going to.
Speaker 6 (33:53):
Be great raft.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Scott Real takes on this stuff. Man, That's why I
love you. And this is the kind of fan that
he is. He likes the scrap. We we have to
talk about me. Yeah, okay, he'll show Walking Dead, Dead City.
See you understand this is the rare guest for your
like we have to talk about. Most guests are like,
get to the show. Morgan doesn't even want to know,
(34:16):
all right, but we know we got to libry to
do everything right now, we're gonna roll the clips. Season
two premieres this Sunday.
Speaker 6 (34:22):
The Walking Dead, Dead City. It's a mouthful in it,
it is, but it's like it's all this debt. It's cool.
It's a cool mof foot. Let's look at the clip.
Go ahead.
Speaker 15 (34:30):
Look, I think it's a solid plan.
Speaker 6 (34:34):
I do.
Speaker 15 (34:34):
It'll knock out the ship, but it certainly isn't a
death blow like you said though, just the first wave.
So we just crank it up. We give them a
fourth July laser light style spectacular and not just for
the ship, but there are people back home and also
(34:56):
the folks that are on our side. You know, these
gangs are having trouble making up their minds.
Speaker 6 (35:04):
Now.
Speaker 15 (35:04):
Jesus Christ, let's just erase any lingering doubts.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Show we that's just Morgan chewing up scenery like he
always does.
Speaker 6 (35:11):
Tell us about the new season. What do we got,
come on?
Speaker 14 (35:13):
I mean, it's it's more of the same, more New York,
more Maggie Meagan trying to figure out a way to
live together or live in the same world together and
not kill each other, I guess. And we brought on
some new cast, some new characters. I think that the
audiences are gonna love. It's an exciting year. I'm really
looking forward to it. I'm really looking forward to the
people seeing it. Let's talk football.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
I had all these follow ups, but you're gonna love this.
Speaker 6 (35:39):
I have a game, and the Seahawks game.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
This is pick your guy, and I'm gonna bring up
two and you just have to pick one and we'll
do it tournament style. Bring it up, Jeffrey Dean, Morgan, Seahawks,
pick or a guy, Bring it up?
Speaker 6 (35:51):
Give me the two pictures.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
We're gonna start with, all right, Hasselback, Richard Sherman pick, oh.
Speaker 6 (35:56):
Man, jesus, I can talk about both of them.
Speaker 14 (35:59):
I mean, I think Hasselback has a lot of good
years with the Seahawks Tepatour first for Bowl.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
But you know, mich Sherman Sherman, all right, So, Sherman stays,
who comes next?
Speaker 6 (36:09):
This is gonna be torture for you, but I'm gonna
make you do it. Suck.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Sherman stays, who comes next?
Speaker 6 (36:14):
That's Doug Baldurn. Oh my god, what do you think?
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (36:20):
I love Doug Baldin so much. I'm gonna go Doug Baldon.
Doug Baldwin stays. Sherman exits stage right. Yeah, Hey, which
sucks because that's a horrible.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Okay, that's part of this Steve Hutchinson versus Doug Baldwin.
Speaker 16 (36:34):
I mean we're talking to Hall of Fame. I know
you love Baldwin. I can tell I love English, right,
I really love Baldwin. I mean I've become friends with
him too. Oh great, he sees this and I uh
we says Baldwin.
Speaker 6 (36:47):
Stay, I'm gonna go because you know I got well,
who takes I mean, because I need that Hall of Fame. Oh,
Bobby Wagner. Bobby Wagner, Oh so my buddy, Bobby Wagner.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
All right, Bobby Wagner stays. Hutchinson out, Bobby Wagner. I
cried when we got of course, like literally tears.
Speaker 6 (37:07):
Shawn Alexander League MVP.
Speaker 14 (37:09):
Bobby Wagon, boy boy, I'm gonna go Bobby Wagner.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Bobby Wagner stays okay, but Wagner feels like he might
be unbeatable. However, Bobby Alexander out. Who comes in against
Bobby Wagner? Who do we have? Bring it in here?
Speaker 6 (37:23):
That's Earl Thomas. Here we go.
Speaker 7 (37:26):
Now it's getting up.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Morgan's gonna take luciale and smash the bat onto the camera.
They play together.
Speaker 6 (37:33):
Two of them are like locks. Which is it?
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Thomas.
Speaker 14 (37:39):
I'm gonna go Bobby only because Earl flipped up heat
he did.
Speaker 5 (37:46):
Burrow was on a cart leaving the stadium and he
flipped up bet.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Okay, who's that on the right, jock?
Speaker 6 (37:52):
Who's that guy?
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Cam Bam Bam Cam versus be Wags and here you go.
Speaker 6 (37:58):
Listen. Both are game changers. But there was something about
dam Chancer watching him play. I was at the Super Bowl.
Speaker 14 (38:06):
We won and in the first quarter you put it
hit on Denver.
Speaker 6 (38:09):
Yes, so hard that the tunk.
Speaker 14 (38:10):
It changed the game. That the tunk changed the game.
So I'm gonna go bam bam on this.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Bam bam comes in. We should probably remind you that
season two of The Walking Dead Dick City. Here's on
Sunday Steve Largent from the old School Camp Oh my.
Speaker 6 (38:22):
God, I got memories. Also, just bam bampam, bam bam.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Cam stays We're almost done. The torch is almost over.
Speaker 6 (38:30):
I know. Can someone take out Walter Jones? Now this
this is like, this is a legend. This is a legend,
a true legend. But that Super Bowl play against the
Broncos was amazing. Camp Chancellor, we love you. We're gonna
put it love Walter.
Speaker 14 (38:45):
And he's like the biggest Seahawk guy still, he's at
every game, Cam Chancellor, Cam Chancellor, alarmingly quick.
Speaker 6 (38:52):
On Russell Wilson.
Speaker 14 (38:53):
I know Russell Russell was great, but he's a giant.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Now everybody has their favorite. Can you just close by
telling us.
Speaker 6 (39:00):
Like, why is this your guy? Safety of all positions. Yeah, weird.
Speaker 14 (39:05):
Maybe because of the way he was able to change
the game. I mean, I remember those NFC Championship in
the height of the Seahawk years would play in the
Niners and he would lay a hit.
Speaker 6 (39:17):
And you could see the other team just they would change.
Speaker 14 (39:21):
It changed the tone of everything. But the legion of
Boom was something very special and he was an integral
part of it.
Speaker 6 (39:27):
It was like to choose him or Earl or Richard Sherman.
Speaker 14 (39:31):
It's really hard, but Cam Chancellor man, no one laid
it hit like him.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
Some incredible seasons from Camp Chess. Not sure if there
is incredible as season two of The.
Speaker 6 (39:42):
Walking City, in which Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Oh we got
the poster again. There we go, Here we go. You
know he didn't have on. There was Marshall Lynch. That
would have caused a lot of problems.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
All right, he's staying for the other side Walking Dead City.
It is the Cam Chancellor of season two's He hits
as hard as thirty one. There's nobody better than this guy.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
All right, walk MAXI, Good morning football. We are in
Lower Manhattan. This is my guy, Willi Cologne. I've known
him a long time. I've watched him a long time.
And if you get nostalgic about football of the two thousands,
you're like me. And this guy was out there doing
specifically you get drafted in six. I want to go
to the seventh season because we've been talking a lot
about Mike Rable this morning, and we're talking about him
a lot this year because he's with the Patriots.
Speaker 6 (40:35):
Now, you used to battle with this dude. Take us
into the trenches, Willie.
Speaker 5 (40:39):
Yeah, for a young fella man, this this was an
honor to play against a historic defense. This is me
our right tackle, going against the warlord itself. Mike Brabelman,
get out slow by thought, you rushing my eyes. They
will call holding and yeah it maybe the hold didn't matter.
Got a big ben scrambling up the middle. But once
again it was another battle, man, and I'm I'm learning
the ropes man usually hand first, use your footwork, get
(41:00):
down in his middle of his chest and punch and
I was able to do that.
Speaker 6 (41:02):
But this was, man, this is all fights. Something you
just showed up and it was all about moving a
man from A to B and I this is how
you drove up.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
This is how you earn your stripes playing against high
quality competition, a big time football team like the.
Speaker 6 (41:15):
Get will that what's some syrup on those pancakes?
Speaker 5 (41:19):
And so it was awesome man, Mike Rabel, Man, Mike
very that guy. That probably would have been another holding call,
but uh, listen, it was you as a ballplayer.
Speaker 7 (41:28):
Man.
Speaker 5 (41:28):
You you think about those battles, you think about playing
against those good teams, and it was honored to play
against Mike Rabel.
Speaker 6 (41:34):
Got a lot of respect fro him.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Take me between the snaps, Willy, that's the real game.
What's what's he like after the snap? Between the snap?
If he's winning, if you're winning, how's it going?
Speaker 6 (41:42):
What's the second? Yeah, it was a lot of unchristian
like talk.
Speaker 5 (41:46):
We were talking about each other's mama and daddy's were
getting after each other.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
Man.
Speaker 5 (41:50):
It was it wasn't very nice, Verbus, but we it
is a lot of respect.
Speaker 6 (41:54):
I got a lot of respect for Mike Rabel.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
We had a lot of respect for each other and
obviously two historic organizations, but you know it was drow
Man football being played, and.
Speaker 6 (42:01):
That's what we did. Man tag get in here. What
do you think man football?
Speaker 9 (42:04):
But Willy, you caught me a word this morning before
the before the show, which goes to show that you know, yeah,
the oosword. Now you played one of the most legendary
who shows in Troy Paula Malo. Tell me a little
story about.
Speaker 6 (42:17):
Troy, Like how was that?
Speaker 4 (42:17):
How was that?
Speaker 6 (42:18):
With with with with Troy Man?
Speaker 5 (42:20):
Troy was the ultimate teammate on so many levels that
you know, people see him as his quiet soft but
he was. He was a jokester man and he always
had a little zingers for you. I got remember I
got in a fighting practice against a guy named Alan
Rawssell and I was really and the people down are like, man,
you will you got you know that's your teammate. You
shouldn't be punching nobody. And Troy was like, hey guy,
(42:41):
hey be the hammer, not the day and just walked
away and I was like, what what does that mean?
Speaker 6 (42:48):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
We got more stories from Willy coming in the second hour, right, Collein,
we do stay
Speaker 4 (42:52):

you how much you weigh, because I'm Ross Tucker now
