Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Good Morning Football.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Over two hundred thousand people were in this parking lot
below West last night in Green Bay. And then there
were three Kyle Brant, Tom Felazero, jaberd All still in
Green Bay. It's good Morning Football. The draft picks are
coming down from a high last night, going to their teeth.
But Kyle Brant, you actually came down from the sky
last night.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
What'd you get into?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
All kinds of craziness.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I was fifteen hundred feet above the beautiful terrain of
Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I'll tell the entire story there it is, guys. That
was me.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
I was not abducted. I was actually on a helicopter.
Some people saw that picture and said, I thought that
was Pete Hegseth. I'm like, no, no, no, it's me.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
It's me. It's not him, it's me. I didn't give
away any of the draft secrets. Guys.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
That's how we're gonna do the show that we're gonna
get into it. It was a crazy adventure. And then Pallisera
has been all.
Speaker 5 (01:07):
Over the draft.
Speaker 6 (01:08):
I feel like right now I'm the executive trying to
sell your nineteen eighty five workout video to compete with
Jane Fonda. I didn't get the wind jacket memo. There
was a lot of action last night. It was a
tough right.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Were brought to you by Roundup for Lance.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Today on GMFB, we're gonna talk everything from night one
and look ahead to the end to round two.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
GMFB rules.
Speaker 7 (01:25):
Look good, monoball.
Speaker 8 (01:43):
The title town has become Draft town. Yeah, that's Packers
legends coming out here as well.
Speaker 2 (01:50):

Speaker 5 (01:51):
It's here on the.
Speaker 2 (01:52):

Speaker 9 (01:53):
The twenty twenty five NFL Draft is now officially open.
Speaker 10 (01:59):
The Tennepe Titans colect Cameron Ward, quarterback Miami.
Speaker 8 (02:04):
And he is the first overall pick of the twenty
twenty five NFL Draft.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
The Jacksonville Jaguars wanted to be told.
Speaker 8 (02:12):
Cleveland Browns have traded the second pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Travis Hunter is dancing his way out.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Of the green room.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
I wanted the crop, but I can't crawl right, not come.
I'm suicide.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
It entire life to be four.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
This feels almost like need person fit go and and.
Speaker 8 (02:35):
There it's dionk with it Shador Sanders waiting to get
that phone ringing.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Is this the kind of intensity you're bringing to a
Bengals defense?
Speaker 9 (02:44):
For sure?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
So people I missed though for the first time since
two thousand wrapped the wide receiver. Sometimes you just don't
overthink it, right.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
I can't believe it's going on right now.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Hell so fakeball, so quar Man.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
So the first round is over.
Speaker 8 (03:13):
Cleveland is officially sitting on the clock for tomorrow night, and.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
That's what we're going to talk about for the next
couple of hours on Good Morning Football.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
What a night it was here in green Bay. The
first shot you saw was the sea of people.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Could you guys believe the te that was green Bay
made responsed?
Speaker 4 (03:32):
It was perfect. It was everything you wanted it to be.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
These fans were dedicated and I'm sorry, but the packers
pick We're going to get into it.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
It was awesome. It really was.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yes, And if anyone's asking, Kyle Brandt and I did
find a vintage NFL shop in Green Bay, and that's
why we.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Look the way we do right now.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
White just waiting for my coastlin Loveland, Jersey to come
shift overnight.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
It hasn't gotten here yet. Sorry, wear of this.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
This is way better than Coachella. Guys, are you kidding? Yes,
there's no Vanessa Hudgins with a flower in her hair,
but we have a million.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Other things that we loved last night. We're to get
into it, we do.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
It was round one for the twenty twenty five NFL Draft.
Round two is tonight on that stage behind us once again,
Tom Pellisera.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
We were all over it for what feels like one.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Thousand hours straight, but then the real clock hit and
the Titans were on the clock.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
But moves were made after that. What were your big
takeaways from last night?
Speaker 6 (04:13):
My biggest takeaway was how many times on this show
and elsewhere we talked about it's been so long no
first round picks had changed hands. Not only do we
have several trades the first round last night, we already
had two twenty twenty six first rounders get traded last night.
It all starts out at number two, and the Jaguars
had been trying to get a deal done with the Browns.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
It had been coming together.
Speaker 6 (04:35):
The loose parameters had been in place for a while here,
but it came down to actually getting it done shortly
before the draft.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Here they go up in the land.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
Travis Hunter, a guy that from my understanding, the Jaguars
and tend to start out in the wide receiver room.
But they're also going to have him meet with the
defensive backs. They'll have him practice some at that position
as well, but he's a starter first. Then later on
in the round, the Atlanta Falcons, who had already taken
Jalen Walker with the number fifteen pick, trade back into
the first set in next year's first round to the Rams.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
And go and get a second edge rusher. Another story
we talked about one of the Falcons gonn get ede rusher.
They got to last night.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
When those details came out, everyone was like, does that
say first round pick at the bottom of the screen.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
And here's the logic as I understand it, which was basically,
the Falcons feel like they drafted next year's first rounder
now and all they had to do was flop a
second round pick for a third round pick, which, by
the way, just weirdly enough, the third rounder that they
get back is the picks the Rams had gotten as
a compense story pick for Raheem Morris becoming the head
coach of the Falcons. I love the draft now, me
(05:35):
got the Giants trading back up for Jackson Dart as well.
It was a fun night of trades, but the big
bold moves you don't always get that trading future first
round picks.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
To me, that's what stood out. Team said we're gonna
make this happen.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Right now, and it was from teams that you kind
of didn't expect that. We know teams make bold moves,
but then the Falcons and the Jaguars doing it.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
That's what I liked that it was made some diversity
of the teams.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
There was, and you know around this time of year,
there's always this little like kind of scuttle but about
what is this people just standing outside to hear the
reading of names?
Speaker 5 (06:03):
What is this?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
What it is is the most powerful human emotion every
single year, which is hope, hope. There's no good teams,
there's no bad teams. And all the teams that used
to be bad were the ones I was looking at
last night, and I think that's what makes the draft fun.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
We wait and get to the Eagles and the Chiefs
and all that, and we'll talk about that.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
I look at a team like that Tennessee Titans, who
that's been a tough couple of years for the Titans.
It's been a tough bland forgetfull run. And now they
have a guy, and now they have the number one pick.
And I'm still not sure if we're allowed to say
his name on the air or if we have to
be scuttled off to something about the University of Colorado.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
But cam Ward was drafted last night. It was not
just announced on a crawl.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
They did actually say his name before moving on to
Shador talk as we are doing now.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
It's for the Tennessee Titans. You've been the meme team.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
If you're on the internet, it's probably Will Levis making
some board play and everyone laughing about it, and ha
ha ha.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
We love Will Loves We love the Titans.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
But I love, for a second they have a tall, strong,
quiet leader who's walking out there hugging the commission.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
I love that for them.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Next, another team that's had a long run of frustration,
maybe decades. The Raiders got a guy. The Raiders went
and made a splash. They have Ashtin Genty. I've already
seen the Bo Jackson comparisons. I've seen Emmitt Smith comparisons.
Huge smile, huge production.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Raiders fans have a jersey they can buy.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Go and buy that jersey, Go and be excited about
him making irresponsible choice on your fantasy team. And then
there's these guys to New York Giants probably have been
on the misery index of one through thirty two, probably
thirty two, if thirty three, maybe lower all the sa
quon stuff, all of the hard knock stuff. It was
a really fun night last night at the New York Giants.
And I want to tell an anecdotal story that you
guys are gonna relate to. We've been here Green Bay
(07:41):
for a while, Tonton here a long while. The entire
town in this draft area around Lambeau is made up
of live cover bands. I think there's sixteen of them
playing fully amplified all over the Lambeau area. And they
only play two species of music. It's either like nineties
alt rock, like I heard better than Ezra last night,
I think twice.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
I think it was them.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It might have been better than Ezra, it was actually
better than the cover band, or it'll be like kind
of acid rocks, seventies music or hair metal, something like that.
So we're driving in talking about that last this morning,
early in the morning and I'm not making this up.
The local radio station on the car that we're all
traveling in as we're saying, yeah, they only play hair metal.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
What song do they play?
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Tom?
Speaker 2 (08:23):
It was White Snake. Here I go again, of course.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
And guess what radio stations I looked this up. It
was on one oh six seven, the Big Dog w
kr U FM radio here.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
In Green Bay.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
And why do I bring this up?
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Because I feel like the Giants got Abdul Carter and
then they looked at each other and they said.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
No, here I go again.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
We're going back in and we're doing Tawny Katan on
the roof of the car and we're going to rock
and go in and get our quarterback Chador.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
No, we don't want Shador, and we'll talk a lot
about it.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
We want Jackson Dart, who has a little bit of
a David Coverdale flow going. And there was some talk
about his mother. Is that I'm not gonna mention right now.
It's all very positive and supporting Jamies Kyle, Thank you, Jamie.
Jamie wait to jump in there. I'm very happy for
the Giants fans, the Darts, all that stuff. The Giants
have two players, one of which maybe the best player
in the draft and a quarterback they believe in, and
(09:13):
we're making white Snake references.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
It's all happy right now. The Giants.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
It's so fun because it's been crap for a couple
of years, and I'm very happy for that team.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
We love Jackson Dart's mom, she carried that kid. She
carried that.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
It was Jamie that said that, No, I do we
got to get a name on her. I don't I know.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
I just looked at say, Sami, we're working on it.
I do it, missus Dart. No, I'm just kidding. I
need to get the upper body workout from miss Dart.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Take it away. What did you think about that?
Speaker 6 (09:40):
You know where we're going here? I would say this
with Jackson Dark. So there was so much discussion about
Shador standers. The Giants did a ton of work on
all the quarterbacks. They did that final round of workouts.
They'd already worked out Jackson Dart back in March, but
they did private workouts. It was with Shador, it was
with Jaylen Milroll, it was with Tyler Schuck. They gathered
all the information, They did the visits, they went to
all the pro days and everything else. My understanding from
(10:00):
a football perspective. One reason that the Giants went with
Jackson Dart not Shador And was they felt like there
were more layers to Jackson Dart's game. Think about Brian
dables offense. When he's been successful, it's been with Josh
Allen in Buffalo, big physical athlete who can get out
in space, move, knock somebody over.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
It's with Daniel Jones the first year. And with the
Giants they go.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
To the playoffs, they win a playoff game in Minnesota.
Brian Dables to toast the town. He's the coach of
the year. With Jackson Dart, he brings different elements the RPO,
it's the Reid options. There are things he can do
as a runner that you're probably not gonna do with
schaduor Sanders. We can talk about all the other schnor
Sanders stuff in a minute here, but it's about who
do we want to be, what style of offense do
we want to run? They see in Jackson Dart somebody
(10:41):
they think he's run some pro style concepts. This offense
gets kicked around all the time because it's the spread
and it's Lane Kiffen, and he makes it.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Really easy for the quarterback.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
But the skill set with Jackson Dart, the size that's bigger,
the competition he played in the SEC. All these things
were infactive. But this is the type of offense they
want to be. Is he gonna be Josh Allen. That's
a really, really high comparison. We're not going to make
it right now, but they think that there are elements
that they're gonna be able to do.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
They just have been able to do it.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
We had a couple of current players on the show
last week when Jackson Dart came on Good Morning Football,
and they were wildly impressed with just what he the
vibes he gave off in terms of leadership and just
outward dedication to whatever team he was going to go to.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
Kara Dart is Jackson Dart's mom.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Just so we know you, congratulations. Great sounds like somebody
you have an allergic reaction. Just take do what the
Karra dark O your kar Dart if you're going on
a pic.
Speaker 5 (11:29):
No.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
I liked what you said the way you described cam Ward.
It was like a big dude, quiet leader CEO type,
j LEO type, and that's what I stumbled into a
great moment last night. I'm walking around in my first draft.
I've never been on that stage. I've never been backstage.
I was like a kid in a candy store. I
turned the hallway last night with all those signs that
you see, and the fifteen young men that are here
are just lined up with each other because they're gonna
(11:52):
practice walking out. And I felt like I wasn't supposed
to be there, but I was fully allowed to be there.
I was like, wow, guys, congratulations, have a great night.
This was like an hour before the draft started, and
everyone was jumping around except Cam and not in a
bad way, And like, that kid is so laser focused.
Way I should stop Hunge. That young man is so
laser focused. He was in his interview, And I'm super
happy for the Tennessee Titans. Now, when that trade happened,
(12:15):
the number two pick I was the even number, right,
So I'm first interview with Travis Hunter wherever he may go.
Jackguars complete the trade, Travis Hunter comes up. I had
been practicing my what have the Browns told you about
how they're going to use you?
Speaker 4 (12:28):
So all I did was a quick flipperoo.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
But I was actually shocked by Travis's answer let's take
a listen.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
What conversations have you had with them with how you
are going to be used in the NFL.
Speaker 11 (12:37):
The crazy part is I had no conversation with them
outside of the comebin, so I didn't know what to expect.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
And I'm excited that they came and fake me.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
I was.
Speaker 5 (12:45):
I wanted to crap, but I can't cry right and
not come them tooxided.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
So you're telling me one of the teams in the
NFL that has the youngest general manager, a brand new
head coach who made them wait to hire him, and
Liam Cohen drafted.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
A guy who they never talked to.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
This kid had This young man has no idea how
the Jacksonvillejagar is going to use him. He has an
idea of how he'd like to be used, but he
has no concept of this thing. And he was ecstatic
and he was dancing.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
With the band.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Travis Hunter was awesome. Was everything you wanted him to
be last night. But I love the fact that he was.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Like, I don't know, it was perfect.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
So James Gladstone comes from the Rams.
Speaker 6 (13:22):
They've got a really unique scouting process where they don't
do top thirty visits, they don't really do private workouts.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
They don't spend a whole lot of time.
Speaker 6 (13:29):
They have some scouts there, but they don't send everybody
to the combine like other teams.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
So this year, yeah, Travis.
Speaker 6 (13:35):
Hunter didn't have a visit to the Jaguars, he didn't
have a private workup because they don't do any of
that stuff.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
I set at the top.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
There's a clear plan form, which is he's going to
start out in the wide receiver room, which if you're
a Jaguars fan this morning, you should be waking up
and just dreaming, daydreaming all day of Brian Thomas Junior
opposite Travis Hunter, which hopefully is going to unlock something
in terms of consistency that we haven't seen from Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
They're also going to expose him in.
Speaker 6 (13:59):
The cornerback room and we'll see how much we see
him on both sides of the football here. But I'm
not that surprised you when you know who made the
pick for Travis Harder though it was clear the elation
going back to Florida, that's a guy who was really
excited about his NFL future.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
Registered genuine shock on my face. And the answer to
that question was there anything else.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
You guys, when you were watching last night in a
quick synopsis that shocked you.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah, I mean, listen, we're gonna talk about this all day.
Like the Bears around the clock and everyone out there
taking Tyler Warren like they didn't.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
They took Colston lovely.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
They took a different tight end, and what that is
is scar tissue from mock draft season. We've all been
looking at mock drafts for a month and not a
single one of them had Tyler Warren not being the
first tight end taken. Because the mock drafts are just fine,
they're confetti, and the Bears have a strong conviction they
liked him better. They immediately explained Ryan Poles why they
liked him better. They take this guy, and the first
(14:49):
question to the Bears is why didn't you take the
other guy? And their answer is he's going to be
a good pro. We like this guy better, and I
liked that.
Speaker 6 (14:54):
I was texting some people last night about that and
asking about Colston Lovelin. They were not the only team
that Colston Loveland to buy above Tyler Warren. One of
the things with Tyler Warren is just his arms are
not the longest. Sometimes that shows up in the blocking phase.
So if you want to play the style of football
the Bears do, which you know how Ben Johnson ran
in Detroit, which is we are going to run the football.
We are going to run everything. Everything comes off the
run game. Here getting a guy who you're gonna be
(15:15):
able to play in all phases.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
That's probably one of the facts.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Someone else who had the short arm criticism was Will Campbell,
who got drafted by the New England Patriots. The look
of relief on that young man's face when he got
the call from Mike Rabel and I was gonna go
with the short arms question until we just saw the
tears in the guy's eyes, and I was like, man,
you just immediately love him to say about your quarterback
that I will fight and die for you with tears
(15:39):
while you are weeping about going to the New Patriots.
Will Campbell, I love you. You are my new favorite Patriot.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
I like him.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Can we get a wellness check on? He was a watch.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
He's awesome because he's the jet right now to Foxborough
and he's happy as can be.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
All right, I bet that, Jessie.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
There was another announcement last night. It was thirty two teams.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
And it was the fact that in a couple weeks,
we're going to find out what's happening in the twenty
twenty five NFL schedule.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
All right.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
It was the schedule release.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
We know who your team is playing on May fourteenth,
you're gonna find out. All right, we will be all
over it right here on GMFB and NFL Network. Schedule
release coming your way on May fourteen, Jamie, I'm doing
a mock schedule.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
I'm just going to do the entire schedule. My mock
one point zero is coming out short. It'll we have
a couple of weeks to start breaking down schedule release.
Speaker 5 (16:22):
Let's go big.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
It was an incredible night in Green Bay. Personally, we
haven't even talked about what happened with the Packers pick
that brought the house down. The official attendance of two
hundred and five thousand, not people, fans, football crazed maniacs
who were all assigned to their sections, and they got along.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
It was great. There were no fist thrown.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
It was draft festivities all over the place. And then
there was Kyle Brand who normally would have been amongst
the crowd, but you were not yesterday.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
I was not at the draft. I was above the draft.
That's me about to take off with the US Army.
This just really happened. I'll tell you the story. I've
never been a look at this looking good ice.
Speaker 10 (17:01):
Man, it ain't MEI buach.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
I'll tell the whole story. Good mon.
Speaker 12 (17:20):
We all didn't expect this, of course, but I feel
like with God, anything possible, everything possible. I don't feel
like this happened. You know, for no reason. All this
is is, of course, feel to the fire and under
no circumstance. We all know this going to happen, but
we understand we own the bigger and better things. Tomorrow's
(17:41):
the day we're gonna be happy to regardless.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
There time for the round Up, presented by Roundup for Lowns.
That was Shador Sanders from his father's social media account,
addressing the crowd that was at the Sanders family party
waiting for Shador to get drafted. Didn't happen after round one.
Here we are Friday, rounds two and three. We're gonna
find out where the quarterbacks go, specifically Tom guys left
(18:05):
on the board.
Speaker 6 (18:05):
Let's talk about shudor Sanders here, which we've done a
ton of I believe Sanders gets drafted today. I believe
that somewhere along rounds two and three his name comes
off the board. And just like any player, I think
we're all rooting for everybody, right, No one's rooting for
anybody to fail. I think that where we fall short
at times as the media is allowing certain things to
(18:28):
get ahead of what people within the NFL actually see.
And if you talk to scouts and coaches around the NFL,
there was one guy in this draft who is a
surefire starting quarterback in terms of profile, and that was
Cam Moore. The rest of them, Shador Sanders, Jackson Dart
who goes to the Giants after they trade up, Jalen Milroe,
Tyler Shock, They're all somewhere in that first second round
(18:49):
border type of an area for the Giants. They like
Jackson Dart's athletic ability, they like his size, They like
the fact that they can run the football with him
and run RPOs and read options, which really isn't Shador
Sanders game. With Schador, you got to have a really
clear vision, got to believe that he's going to be
able to adjust his game at least somewhat from what
he did at the college level to the NFL in
(19:10):
terms of getting the ball out faster, not taking as
many sacks, being more efficient as a quarterback. And when
there's only so many teams that are even in the
first round quarterback market.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
You can say, yeah, he's sliding, but is it actually
a slide?
Speaker 6 (19:23):
What I would say is this is probably right around
where if you were being realistic about it and taking
his last name out of it, was always where he
was going to go. He was somewhere in a late
first second round quarterback. There were definitely teams that had
him above Jackson Dart. There were a lot of teams
that had Jackson Dart above Shador Sanders. Now the question
becomes day two of the draft. You got the Browns
(19:44):
with a couple of picks high Kyle in the second round.
You've got the Saints to have a high second round pick.
The Steelers don't have a second round pick, they do
have a third. In my mind, that might potentially be
the floor for Shador Sanders. Here his opportunity is coming.
But again, we could talk about all the other things
around Shador Sanders.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
It's all real.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
You've spoken about it extensively, But in terms of just
the player itself. I understand what the numbers were in college.
I understand the production, but the feeling within the league
you're talking about traits and what that guy's going to
be in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Tom whether it was direct or not, seems like people
had a lot of feedback for the fact that you
put anonymous quotes out there from NFL executives about Schador
Standers specifically, you did it about everybody, all eighteen quarterbacks
prospects that were in this draft when this went down
last night, and the fact that he is the second
round guy and the young man is standing there saying
this was never going to happen this day. You know
(20:35):
he's going to have an NFL future. Do you feel
validated in putting that feedback out about all the guys?
The fact that it is kind of solidifying what you're saying,
which is, let's be realistic about what Shador Sanders was
going to do.
Speaker 6 (20:46):
I wouldn't say validating because that makes it seem like
I'm rooting for Shador Sanders to fail or to follow
in the draft, which isn't the case. Here's what I
would say, and this is one of the fundamental misconceptions here.
If you don't want to have if you want to
say it's trash for somebody to say negative things about
an interaction they had with an individual that's their own
personal experience. You want to say, put your name on.
If you want to put it out there, go watch
(21:07):
the press conferences. You'll be protected, you'll be insulated. You'll
hear nothing but positive things about players and people. Everyone's awesome,
everyone's a first round pick. If you actually want to
know what people think, you have to grant anonymity to
get a blunt assessment in order to figure out how
people within the league actually view our particular player.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
And listen, we can certainly have a debate. Again, I
understand why.
Speaker 6 (21:29):
You were triggered by a certain quote that was in
a story, But like when you're trying to form formulate
what actually is the feeling about people within the league,
you have to be able to talk to people and
have them not pull punches and not hold things back.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
The other fundamental misconception is.
Speaker 6 (21:45):
That the idea that like, oh, this is a smear campaign,
that's what's caused him to slide. The giants didn't wake
up yesterday and go, you know, I was gonna We're
gonna take Chador, but then we read this anonymous coach
for a different team didn't like his interview with them.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Now we're not going to do it.
Speaker 6 (22:02):
No, the quotes and the story and the feeling, that's
the actual opinions within the league, not one person. That's
the consensus opinions when people within the league. So it's
not that the negativity or the narratives or whatever are
causing a guy to slide. He's not sliding. He's going
where the league has him. And the quotes that are
(22:22):
out there are reflection of that zone.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Well well said, it's well said.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
I think what we learned last night about Shadur nobody
loves them. Now, some teams may like him, and we
may find out they like them tonight. Nobody loves him
as a prospect or they would have drafted him last night.
And I know there's a lot of people who can't
stand Shadoor or they rubs him wrong from latmanent ways.
And you could hear takes that he is a product
of privilege, and that he is a NEPO baby, and
(22:47):
that he is a trust fund athlete.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
And if you want to say all that stuff, that's fine.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Well, he was just kicked in the teeth last night
in so many ways in which he is at a
party with his father and his family on camera and
sat there for thirty two picks and was not handed everything,
was not given everything on a silver place. And he
got up and gave a speech, and the speech was
we didn't expect this. I'm gonna be better from this.
This is gonna fuel us. It's everything you want him
(23:12):
to say. So if you got your bound of flesh
that Dion's kid was kicked around last night and you're
happy about that, fine.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
I look at this, the results of that in what
we saw last night.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Look at the people and the teams that had an
opportunity to draft Shaduur Sanders and didn't.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
The Giants all we've heard, they've done all the work
on shore, They got everybody here and everybody there. They
didn't just pass They passed them twice.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
The Browns they never have a quarterback who's good, passed
on him twice. Really, the Saints, they're sitting there. We
got a dome, we can bring him in. He'll sell jerseys.
We have this cool market down in the South. They'll
love him. They took an alignment the Steelers. He got
along great with Mike Tom and he's just like his father.
This amazing visit. It's gonna be the Steelers. They're a
(23:54):
twenty one. They take a defensive tackle and then you
get the Giants go back in and you're like, oh,
he's going.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
On New York City.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Not only do they not take them, they take another
quarterback they liked more than shadere Dion's kid. And then
Tom mentioned this, The Browns have two of the first
four picks in tonight's second round. They could have taken
one of those and jumped in to thirty two thirty one.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
I don't know who the Browns quarterback is right now.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
It's Flacco and picking like they could have gone and
gotten him. They don't like him at all, clearly unless
they go and show up at tonight and take them.
But I would have thought if you wanted Schaduur, you're
gonna get him last night.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
So it's just we learned it's there. Maybe some teams
are fine with them, Maybe some teams say, yeah, we
like him.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Nobody loves them, and we'll find out tonight who actually
wants to have him part of his team or maybe
we won't.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
I don't know where he's going.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
I know that there's a lot of things that people
don't want to have from him in his building, and
I don't know if it's all of his playing or
his personality, but last night was a tough night for
a kid who supposedly has everything handed to him.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Those teams that you just saw on the screen are
the first ten picks, as Kyle mentioned for tonight.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
So Shador Sanders is at home with his family in Texas.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Jalen Milroe, another quarterback available to teams, is still in
town being told he's going to return to the draft
stage tonight when he gets drafted from Alabama.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
And I was always going to be the case.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
He had one of his best friends who currently plays
in the NFL on yesterday saying, if Jayala gets called
next week, he would come back to Green Bay to
be across the stage.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
This is the kind of quarterback he is.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
I look at the Browns the fact that they have
two opportunities in the first five picks tonight. I also
look at the Raiders and the fact that the Raiders
have an opportunity that Gino Smith is there, but Pete
Carroll's trying to build something here. They have Ashton gent
Tom could the Raiders go quarterback and they're one of
their first picks here.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
Tom Brady also has been a mentor to Shador Sanders
for the process, so they know a ton about Shador Sanders.
I had one person anonymously in that story compare Schador
Sanders in a skill set to Gino Smith with a
little bit less harm. That's kind of how he profiles.
You're probably going to need to learn to play efficiently.
That took Geno Smith sometime. Maybe that's a path for
(25:56):
Schador Sanders. I would also caution people here to just
be ready for the possibility that Chador Sanders is not
the third quarter back off the board either. In terms
of those four guys, we've talked about it all week
here after cam Ward, those next four dark Cheddeur, Tyler Shuck,
and Jalen Milroe. They're in different orders on everybody's board.
So there's a real possibility that the Browns could take
(26:18):
a quarterback and here it comes and they take Tyler Shuck.
It's totally possible that the Saints take a quarterback and
it's Jalen Milroe. These are real possibilities. They're all different guys.
There's not that many teams that need a quarterback. Jalen
Milrode is an amazing run threat with a huge army,
got to hone his accuracy. Tyler Shuck is just going
to stand in the pocket, but he's got his brain
able to process things here. And then you've got Shador,
(26:40):
who has shown again he's been an efficient quarterback. He's
really accurate, he's really tough.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
There's a lot of things to like about him.
Speaker 6 (26:46):
But he's not an elite athlete, he doesn't have an
elite arm and there are other factors you have to
take into play, just in terms of the potential culture
shock of him coming into the building. I don't know
how this is going to play out. I still would
believe that all those guys come off the board tonight,
and maybe some additional once Quinn yours could be in
the mix. Reial Howard Schanur is going to have his home,
I believe tonight where that's going to be. To Kyle's point,
(27:07):
that's gonna come down to if nobody loves him, who
really likes I was just just.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
A quick take tangential completely but based on Jalen Milroe
watching the draft last night.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
That was my favorite green room and draft history, and
I'll tell you why.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
It was unbelievably positive and constructive. And I think we
started to zag from the loser shot of the guy
sitting there looking miserable looking at his phone. There wasn't
nearly as much of that on the broadcast last night,
and there were opportunities.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Jalen Milroe is sitting around.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Every single person is high fiving and hugging, even players
at your own position. Normally, the green room, I mean,
it's the dark room. It's a terrible, terrible place, the
torture chamber. I have a tough relationship with it because
I've watched it for years, just pull guys apart.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Last night, the energy was positive.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
I liked how they broadcast, I like how they produced it,
and I think Jalen Milroe is a big part of that.
So I think we've turned the corner now and we've
kind of rebranded it's a positive place.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
I actually think I don't know what the normal amount
of prospects that attend is, but fifteen did seem kind
of like a small group, So I actually think these
guys grew close in Green Bay. This be genuinely happy
for each other and to Kyle's poynt Jaylen Milroe hugging
on everybody, and he will return tonight's Green Bay to
be drafted in the NFL Draft as a quarterback.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
We're the first pick in the twenty twenty five NFL Draft.
Speaker 11 (28:22):
The Tennessee Titans select Cameron Ward, quarterback Miami.
Speaker 8 (28:29):
So the expected is now official and cam Ward comes
out of the green room. His night was as quick
as we thought it would be, and he is the
first overall pick of the twenty twenty five NFL Draft.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
What an amazing moment. Now, before cam Ward was a.
Speaker 13 (28:50):
Draft prospect, he was a high school quarterback with big
talent and one coach who believed in him. Coach Steve
van Meter saw the arm, the drive and never stopped
showing up. Thanks to Toyota and JAZZYG Coach van Meter. Surprise,
I'm on the draft brand carpet. There you see the
emotional grand reunion, a moment years in the making.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Greatness doesn't drive solo.
Speaker 13 (29:14):
And now it's time for going places presented by Toyota,
and you know who's going places, cam Ward, Travis Hunter
Abdull Carter, Will Campbell, Mason Graham, and Ashton Genty the
first six picks of the twenty twenty five NFL Draft.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Take a look.
Speaker 5 (29:29):
Are you ready?
Speaker 2 (29:31):
The tenn fee Titans select Cameron Ward.
Speaker 14 (29:33):
I mean that's all we Jamy Force was opportunity to
play the National Football League and the blessing wit us.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
All this should I get everything like that? We have
a trade. Jacksonville Jaguars select Travis Hunter.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
I wanted to drop, but I can't. Carl, I'm not
gonna look side.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
The New York Giants select Abdul Carter in New York,
I'm coming. You're gonna get the best out of the.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
New England Patriots select real Cameron tire.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Life be uphill.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
We'll fight and uh to protect them with everything like that.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
For Cleveland Brown, select Mason Graham. You're gonna do everything
I can. You know we play Cleveland back on top. Genty.
Speaker 9 (30:08):
You've seen the energy, You've seen the dance moves. I'm
ready to go in and say you East and every
week on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
So so cool.
Speaker 13 (30:16):
And coming up next, there's Kyle. He was flying high
over lambeau Field last night. Fifteen hundred feet above the
draft and he'll explain it all with the details.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Next Good mon Welcome back to Good Morning Football. It's
the day after round one. We are excited for the
second round, the third round. We will be talking all
(30:47):
about that all day and all week on an NFL network.
So many views on the draft.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
My view is incredibly unique because it came from up
there physically. I was fifteen hundred feet above the ground
here in Green Bay because just a matter of days ago,
I was invited by the Wisconsin now National Guard, the
US Army to be part of the flyover.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
You've seen these before year sports fans.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
They fly the aircraft right over the stadium before the
Super Bowl, the game, or in this case.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
The draft. And sure enough I got on a Blackhawk helicopter.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Like you've seen in the movies, and I was part
of this incredible, incredible experience that I will never ever forget.
I have questions, I have takes, I have all the
movie references, but more and so I have respect for everyone.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
I flew up there with here's a look, all right,
so this.
Speaker 10 (31:32):
Is our this is our aircraft. And that step starts
with McCracken. He's going to take me through the safety protocols.
I'm sixty percent excited, forty percent nervous, and I think
that's healthy.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
It's almost got time. I'm learning this down here. This
is for the power, this is for steering, and there's
also pedals. I'm looking for the aux cable, but I
can play fortunate Sun. But I haven't found it yet.
But I'm so excited. This is not my job up here.
I'll be in the back of my iPhone right.
Speaker 10 (32:05):
Okay, back in the ground, exhilarating and loved it. I
had three fears. Number three, I was gonna drop my phone.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Number two, I was.
Speaker 10 (32:11):
Gonna fall out.
Speaker 2 (32:12):
And number one, the Bears were going to make a
terrible draft pick. The whole time I was worried about that.
Speaker 5 (32:16):
But we're back.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
We did it well.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Two of those fears did not come true. We will
see how the draft pick went with the Bear's new
tight end. But I just have to say again, I've
never ridden in a helicopter ever and any sort of
vacation or adventure or anything, and I was in very
good hands. I was scared, though, I'm sitting here on
the very edge of this thing, and I was part
of like the I'm gonna get all the terminology wrong,
(32:42):
but basically the mission briefing, we're we go into this
room and there's a very detailed meeting about the flyover,
the flyover which they had rehearsed the day before and
also had a meeting, and they set this very specific plan.
We're going to ascend to fifteen hundred and we're gonna
drop to thirteen fifty to get in diamond formation, then
we'll drop to five hundred to cross Lambeau.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
It was all so specific. I felt like I learned
so much.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
I feel like just so so so grateful, and I
know you guys have questions, but it was awesome, and
thank you so much, especially Staff Sergeant Ryan McCracken, who
took me through the safety protocol and was in charge
of taking.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Care of me. It was awesome.
Speaker 6 (33:15):
It's Sargean McCracken. Is gonna be okay that you just
revealed all details of the mission?
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Is that okay?
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Because you over now that the mission's over. I did
not give away the classified intel of the operation now
that it's over, but next year's draft would be a
whole different criteria time.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
I didn't blow it. Thank God.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Did you feel like you were in a football meeting
that you were you should have been into, like we're
gonna run this diamond formation and this guy's gonna come
out of the backfield. Kyle, you looked the part so like,
I think you should not have been fearful.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
I am.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
I am alarmed that the door was wide open the
entire time.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
There's a way to fly with it closed. It's much
warmer that way, and it's much safer. But I also
had the money seat, Like I'm sitting there.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
We're at fifteen hundred, so you said leave the door open. Yeah,
I want the door open. I wanted the real experience. Listen.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Of course, I'm having all these Apocalypse Now vibes, and
I'm in Diehard going through knocka tomy.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
But at the same time, I cannot.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Tell you the precision and the details with which these
men and women and work. I've watched a thousand flyovers,
we all have. I didn't know how you time up
the aircraft, the stealth bomber, whatever it is, to just
the crescendo of the national anthem.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
It's not luck. The way it is is timing exact.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
They are in cahoots with the people on the ground
who are saying, start the national anthem. Now they have
timed it whatever it is, ninety seconds and the people
in the helicopter, the soldiers have orders to fly over
at Lambo at exactly six forty five pm.
Speaker 6 (34:33):
And they rehearsed at the day before because we were
doing the insiders up in the press pluch. All of
a sudden, four Blackhawk helicopters come flying in formation. I
was like, what, oh, this must be exactly when they're
doing it to most when the conditions.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
They do it and they win.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
And in the rehearsal they had they were five seconds late,
five seconds late. It was six forty five oh five,
and they were mad about that and they're like, that's
why we rehearse.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
We have to hit it perfectly. So there's no signal,
there's no speed up, speed down.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
It is just immaculate timing with the singer and with
the production on the ground and with the miltary. And
they app laced it last night and there were some
high fives effort.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
Well, this also feels like a PSA to anyone who
wants to sing a national anthem that if you try
to add a couple of vowels onto the and the run. No, yeah,
you do it how you ever heards it, because you're
gonna mess with those choppers and we're not trying to
mess around with us.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Not just Francis Scott Key, you're disrespectful. It is all
the people up there. And listen.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
If you've been in the military, ifat in your actions
with the military, you walk away unbelievably thankful. But just
I'm wildly impressed. The detailed, the precision, the organization. There's
a heavy side to it too. When you walk through
the safety protocols of a black Hawk helicopter, you won't
believe some of the things that they tell you. Things
like this is the fire extinguisher. You should know where
it is. You don't use it to put out the aircraft.
(35:45):
Use it to put out someone who is on the
aircraft as quickly.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
As you can and get them away.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
There is an axe if you need an axe to
get out of it should in the event of a crash.
Like all that stuff is thought of. Some of it
is very dark and very morbid. But they walked me
through all of it anyway, and it was very successful.
There was a life memory for me. I again want
to thank the Wisconsin National Guard and everybody on our team,
including Becky who set that up. Just an amazing, amazing
part of this incredible draft, and thank you for letting
(36:10):
me be part of it.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Awesome moment. Thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (36:12):
Respect for the people who do that on a daily
basis and put country above everything else. I do have
one question, Yes, go on, you think you're the first
person on a black Hawk helicopter to be taking selfie
videos with the phone that has your wallet, with your
credit card and driver's license attached. I didn't take you
for a guy who had everything there. You're holding it,
the door is open. This is not just your phone
(36:34):
that might go down. This could be if you drop it,
it could be your whole life goes on.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
I would have dropped it over the stadium. It's not
just some phone. Here's my dumb Gym membership card and
my master card and all that. I'm proud of two things,
Tom that I didn't drop the from And at no point,
and I was very particular, at no point did I
say get to the Chappa. It's just too done. It's cliche,
it's stupid, and I didn't want to respect the guys
by screaming domb Arnold Schwarzenegger lines, so I didn't and
I held.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
Lines to my phone and they held on to me.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
The Jacksonville Jaguars just traded up to get your services
to their team. What conversations have you had with them
with how you are going to be used in the NFL.
Speaker 11 (37:10):
The crazy part is I had no conversation with them
outside of the combine, so I didn't know what to expect.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
And I'm excited that they came and picked me.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
I was.
Speaker 5 (37:18):
I wanted to cry, but I can't cry right not
because I'm too excited.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
You haven't stopped smiling since you heard your name. What's
behind that smile?
Speaker 14 (37:26):
Man?
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Just all the hard work?
Speaker 4 (37:32):
Congratulations? Oh what makes you a headliner for the Las
Vegas Raiders.
Speaker 9 (37:40):
I mean you've seen it, the energy, You've seen the
dance moves. I'm ready to go entertain each and every
week on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (37:46):
You know, I've been waiting for a long time in
that room back there, and I'm ready to go to work. Man,
this is I can't believe it's going on right now.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Hell so thankful. I'm so blessed. Man, I'm so happy
to hear my name. Cous truly a dream come true.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Schamar, You are laser focused in this moment. Is this
the kind of intensity you're bringing to a bank defense?
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, definitely for sure. Some people that
I messed up?
Speaker 4 (38:11):
Really, what's making you upset about the moment that you
have right now?
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Nothing? I'm happy, I'm excited. Okay, just no, I'm coming Philly.
Speaker 5 (38:19):
I know what's up.
Speaker 14 (38:19):
We gotta turn out, we gotta get lit. We gotta
win another freaking super Bowl next year.
Speaker 5 (38:24):
Man, it's own.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Never give up the microphone unless you're TV to a
draft pick that's going to a Super Bowl champion. What
was it like to receive that phone call from a
general manager that constructs a championship roster?
Speaker 14 (38:36):
Man, it was a surreal feeling, you know, just getting
that call and just being here and you know, just
having that opportunity and you know, maximize my opportunities when
I was younger, and I mean, you know, just leading
it to this point. So I'm just extremely grateful and
I'm honored.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
And you have a future in television when you don't play,
and congratulations, you're damn right. Just a kid from South
Jersey who's a hell of a linebacker. Who gets to
go play on a defense that just crushed the Kansas
City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
Joh Hod Campbell ever, just a.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
Girl from Minnesota, just holding cord up there on the stage.
Awesome job, Jamie, thank you, Proud of you, thank you.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
I'm very proud of what we were able to put
out there last night. It was a great group of guys,
and like we said, it's been fifteen prospects. Fourteen of
them got drafted and it was an incredible evening, filled
with laughter, filled with a lot of hogs. The missioner
had to take some serious bear hugs or some of
these guys. And Will Campbell just letting it all go
when it comes to his emotions and when he said,
as I mentioned earlier, with tears in his eyes, I
(39:33):
will fight and die to protect Drake May.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
I mean, Drake May's got to love that.
Speaker 6 (39:38):
What's I'm really curious he took out, you know, Jane,
somebody let us know what no idea oh LFG.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
It was a Tom bradygy.
Speaker 3 (39:50):
I said it on the air, Jod Campbell, joh Hod
Campbell taking my mic. I gave it up willingly. You're
not supposed to. That's the rule of television. But I
gave Johot Campbell the mic because how couldn't you that
guy wanted to address Philip was taking the mic.
Speaker 6 (40:02):
Jamie, you can say he was taking the mic no
matter what you were doing. There might be a little
bit of Terry on Arnold who got drafted in Detroit
and he grabbed the mic and said, I'm home.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Giodd.
Speaker 6 (40:10):
Campbell had a wild night, by the way, because there
was a real chance the Eagles were going to trade
into twenty three with the Packers and take him. He
thought he was going all indications where he was going. Ultimately,
the Packers decided to stay and take Matthew Golden instead.
So the Eagles kept calling and calling trying to get
him Jihod Campbell. They end up trading up one spot
(40:33):
and he comes in.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
Now, I did have an existential crisis, and I'll walk
you through this. So Tyler Booker was on our show
from Alabama last week. Couldn't have been a nicer young man.
He gets drafted and he has the one of the
longest hugs with Roger Goodell, and this is just a
bear of a man. And he's coming from Alabama and
he's going to go play for the Dallas Cowboys, and
he's out of his skin, thrilled with the fact that
(40:54):
he is going to go. They hugged, they talked, they
hugged again. This was a double hug on the commissioner
for Tyler Booker. Tyler Brooker comes over to me and
I had a decision to make and Kyle you and
you both.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
I'm a hugger. I will hug you.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
We're up on the.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
Stage, there's two hundred thousand people look get at us.
I'm like, I don't know if this person wants to
hug me now. And I went with the handshake, and
I kind of regretted in the end. I wish I
would have hugged Tyler Booker, because Malachi Starks, who was
on our show two days ago in Green Bay, he
hugged me on the stage because I think he was
so relieved to see a familiar face at that point.
So now I regret that I didn't get the double
(41:27):
hug from Tyler Booker because I got the hug from
Alachi Starks.
Speaker 4 (41:30):
And I always go for the hug. You know, these
are this is an incredible moment in these young men's lives.
Always go for the hugg.
Speaker 6 (41:36):
You know what I would have like to see you
trying to hug Samar Stewart, just to see what the
reaction would have been in that moment. Always is a
very strong word, Jamie, that one I might have laid
off here. But Tyler Booker one of the great kids
in this draft. I was with him Wednesday night at
his pre draft party, just really just enjoyed talking with
him and just like what he's all about. Just a
completely cool guy who was there with some of his
the backup quarterback from Alabama, like the best buddy, and
(41:58):
is there in the draft room with him Like that's
to me.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
He says a ton of yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
To Tom's point, the Shamar Stewart, maybe a side hug
for Shamar Stewart. He just seemed annoyed that he got
looked over.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
And it was on the show with us two days ago.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
Come on, you can do this, man.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
But he's going to the Cincinnati Bengals to try and
make that defense better, all right, and he's gonna get
to chase down Lamar Jackson twice a year to go.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
Tyler Booker, Yes, I don't know if you want that.
I know you injured or something.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
He's so happy, he's so lovable. Tyler Booker, Cowboys, you
did good except Alby
