because last night in a divisional game on Primetime TV,

the New York Football Giants. In a week in which
the Yankees lose, the weather got cold, the Knicks are
allegedly going to do something this year. That man did
it last night. Here we go, Eli Manning in the house.
So many battles against the Eagles, so many Brandon Graham

movement and Scataboo really having his coming out party last night.

It was incredible to see what he was able to do,
handing Philly their first back to back law since twenty
twenty three. What stands out or what jumped out to
you most when you watched this one last week.

Well, number one, the youthfulness and the craziness of those
two rookies.

That the passion which they played with.

But I think and follow me a little bit on this, guys,
because I studied this team, this Philadelphia Eagles offense in
the past two weeks, and I think the Denver Broncos
cracked the code for this offense. There are a lot
of talks about the second half of last week's game,
how the Broncos defense was so successful against this offense.

And I saw a.

Little switch in the pivot that they did where they
started the pressure, but they started to put zone behind it. Now,
what did that do that forced Jalen to throw with
anticipation is and that's not what he wants to do.
What so funny about watching the Giant last night was
it was a team that is used to running man.

Matter of fact, they run man.

When Jalen Hurts has had time and he starts to
move around, their eyes get fixiated onto the backfield of
the quarterback and they're losing. There's been gaping holes in
the back end and they've lost some receivers. Trying to
play more zone tonight. You know, they're the number one
team in the NFL playing man coverage, but against DeVante

Smith and aj Brown that's tough to do.

So, as you can see, even herbshe started to talk
about how they're running zone and I think if you
start to watch these teams, everybody studies what was so
successful against a certain unit and running zone while putting
pressure on Jalen Hurts has seen to work for the
Denver Broncos in the second half for the New York
Giants defense last night. So if the Eagles can start
to identify how they can come back that, I think

they'll have a little bit more success on the offensive side.
But credit to the New York Giants defense for being
able to see what happened last week and what worked
for the Broncos last week and implementing it last night,
because I mean, they got a big pick, they had
a fumble, they were providing pressure on them. Brian Burns
had two sacks, I believe, So they definitely did their
homework on the Eagles.

It's a copycat league and everybody always watches what beat
you the week before or whatever whatever team beat you,
and how they beat you and how they approached the game.

And the New York Giants are trying to find their identity.

They got two great rookies and Jackson Dart and Skataboo,
and man, they went out there and they put on
the show. And I got to say that the Eagles
definitely have to do some self self searching, some soul searching,
and make sure that for them that they are knowing
exactly what it is that they're giving away, since we
want to keep saying they're predictable and just going out

there and doing it doing going to find them finding
their way on offense together, because it was a little
bit of everybody yesterday.

Of course, they've been handling it all these last five games,
six games now, well five games and now we all
just we got a ten day window where we got
Minnesota coming up, and now it's what we with the
work we put in going forward.

But the New York Giants.

Went out there and played against a beat up Philadelphia
Eagles team. But on offense though, it's definitely predictable right now,
and them boys, man, I hope that they figure it out,
because man, I hate to see my Eagles like this.

I never thought I'd said this about the Eagles, but
they were weak in the corps last night. You hear
about core strength, core strength, that's all important, not about
biceps and legs.

Core strength.

The interior old line was weak. The interior d line
without Jalen Carter was weak, and I thought was abused
last night. You know their their their biceps and their
triceps are all the receivers and the running backs, and
obviously they need to do more too. But I mean,
the inside line alive for the Eagles is not what
it needs to be. It's not what it has been.
And look no further than Saquon Barkley's longest run being
eighteen yards. That's not Saquon. Saquon's hit. It's seventy seventy five,

eighty whatever. They just cannot get him going. But this
is a New York Giants conversation. If we had showed
up this morning and the Giants lost by seven points,
we would have said, nice job, you kept it tough,
you battled.

Not only did they not lose, they won the game outrights.
They won the game, and it was not close. They
won the game by three damn scores. That was an
absolute butt whipping in the fourth quarter in which one
team was ready to go home and the other team
was literally dancing on the field. I am so happy
for the Brian Davile, New York Giants. They have earned this.
Let's keep in mind the players that were off the
field for the Eagles. The Giants' best player is Malik Nighbors,

and he is out for the season. Dart was supposed
to be lost without him. He looks calm, he looks
totally in control. This was a great win. And the
best part about the Giants is if you feel like
you got the Eagles back in the corner, covering up
what you get him in two weeks again, you get
a fresh meat again. You don't have to wait till
December to do it. Now, you go to Philadelphia in
(13:12):
two weeks and you do the same stuff over and over,
and you see if they can punch back. It's a
crazy night. That's one of the most unpredictable outcomes in
a game this year. I really mean that, nobody. Giants
by seventeen over the Eagles outlandish and it's true and
it's a reality. And the Giants felt themselves in the
second half. I was really really impressed. Man, I give

some love to the Giants.

Well, I think that the way that the Giants, we
gave a lot of love to the two rookies, and
rightfully so. Right I'm going to give a lot of
love to that old line, like that old line was
able to we all seen what that front could do,
the front for the Eagles, but that old line was
able to keep Jackson Dart safe. They were able to
keep Jackson Dark comfortable. And even when Jackson Dark got uncomfortable,

there were enough lanes where you saw Jackson Dart on
his first touchdown be able to scramble and score a touchdown.
So I think that it can't be emphasized enough at
the job at which this New York Giants offensive line
did last night, because guys, it wasn't too long ago
when this Giants O line was a liability for them.
They were letting everybody in. But last night they controlled

the line of scrimmage. To kb's point, the core of
the the Egles wasn't where we expected him to be,
But a lot of that had to do with the
offensive line for the Giants and them controlling the line
of scrimmage in the run game and keeping Jackson Dart
safe in the pass game.

They are a very very good team. It's not just

hard to sack. For one, if you go back, you
look at how many sacks heat and broke, and then
how many times he extended plays.

Then he's for him to be talking stuff and been
bounced around in the beginning of his career, it was
a good learning lesson for him, But I want him

how the Broncos defense was so successful against this offense.

Little switch in the pivot that they did where they
started the pressure, but they started to put zone behind it. Now,

team in the NFL playing man coverage, but against DeVante

Smith and aj Brown that's tough to do.

So, as you can see, even herbshe started to talk
about how they're running zone and I think if you
start to watch these teams, everybody studies what was so
successful against a certain unit and running zone while putting
pressure on Jalen Hurts has seen to work for the
Denver Broncos in the second half for the New York
Giants defense last night. So if the Eagles can start
to identify how they can come back that, I think

they'll have a little bit more success on the offensive side.
But credit to the New York Giants defense for being
able to see what happened last week and what worked
for the Broncos last week and implementing it last night,
because I mean, they got a big pick, they had
a fumble, they were providing pressure on them. Brian Burns
had two sacks, I believe, So they definitely did their
homework on the Eagles.

their way on offense together, because it was a little
bit of everybody yesterday.

Went out there and played against a beat up Philadelphia
Eagles team. But on offense though, it's definitely predictable right now,

they were weak in the corps last night. You hear
about core strength, core strength, that's all important, not about
biceps and legs.

The interior old line was weak. The interior d line
without Jalen Carter was weak, and I thought was abused
last night. You know their their their biceps and their
triceps are all the receivers and the running backs, and
obviously they need to do more too. But I mean,
the inside line alive for the Eagles is not what
it needs to be. It's not what it has been.
And look no further than Saquon Barkley's longest run being
eighteen yards. That's not Saquon. Saquon's hit. It's seventy seventy five,

eighty whatever. They just cannot get him going. But this
is a New York Giants conversation. If we had showed
up this morning and the Giants lost by seven points,
we would have said, nice job, you kept it tough,
you battled.

Not only did they not lose, they won the game outrights.
They won the game, and it was not close. They
won the game by three damn scores. That was an
absolute butt whipping in the fourth quarter in which one
team was ready to go home and the other team
was literally dancing on the field. I am so happy
for the Brian Davile, New York Giants. They have earned this.
Let's keep in mind the players that were off the
field for the Eagles. The Giants' best player is Malik Nighbors,

and he is out for the season. Dart was supposed
to be lost without him. He looks calm, he looks
totally in control. This was a great win. And the
best part about the Giants is if you feel like
you got the Eagles back in the corner, covering up
what you get him in two weeks again, you get
a fresh meat again. You don't have to wait till
December to do it. Now, you go to Philadelphia in

two weeks and you do the same stuff over and over,
and you see if they can punch back. It's a
crazy night. That's one of the most unpredictable outcomes in
a game this year. I really mean that, nobody. Giants
by seventeen over the Eagles outlandish and it's true and
it's a reality. And the Giants felt themselves in the
second half. I was really really impressed. Man, I give

some love to the Giants.

Well, I think that the way that the Giants, we
gave a lot of love to the two rookies, and
rightfully so. Right I'm going to give a lot of
love to that old line, like that old line was
able to we all seen what that front could do,
the front for the Eagles, but that old line was
able to keep Jackson Dart safe. They were able to
keep Jackson Dark comfortable. And even when Jackson Dark got uncomfortable,

there were enough lanes where you saw Jackson Dart on
his first touchdown be able to scramble and score a touchdown.
So I think that it can't be emphasized enough at
the job at which this New York Giants offensive line
did last night, because guys, it wasn't too long ago
when this Giants O line was a liability for them.
They were letting everybody in. But last night they controlled

the line of scrimmage. To kb's point, the core of
the the Egles wasn't where we expected him to be,
But a lot of that had to do with the
offensive line for the Giants and them controlling the line
of scrimmage in the run game and keeping Jackson Dart
safe in the pass game.

us through a great journey of how he's been such

lead the league with twenty one sacks this season, and
to that end, quarterback Justin Fields was asked earlier this
week about propensity to hold onto the ball. He said, look,
I'm not a fan of that stat I don't think
it's a good indicator. Any scrambling quarterback is going to
hold the ball longer than if you're a pocket passer.

But in an apparent nod to the quality of the
opponent this weekend, he did say it is always important
to get the ball out fast to help your offensive alignment,
and it's going to be super important this weekend. Make
no mistake, the Jets aren't here to roll over. They're
here to win a game. And to that end, head
coach Aaron Glenn said he likes the vibe that's been
around the place this week. He likes the way the
group's come together, and he finished today by saying, it's

love in that clip that he talked about. He's the

changes the winning like when he solves a lot of problems,
and Baker Mayfield has been a winner as long as
he's had that Buccaneers jersey on for them.

I do love his leadership. I love how he represents himself.
He's unapologetic. And then you also have a really good
rookie and then Mecca Abuka that has been playing at
a level that we haven't seen in a while and

It's just a matter of time until Mike Evans comes
backh Irv Bucky Irving hasn't been in last week, he
might not be in this week. So they're still being
able to play at this efficiency and play at this
high level and put so many points on the board
without some of their guys. And then you're running to
the Champtions score forty nine ers team that has the
same situation where they don't have guys, and then yet

last week they pull off a big win against an
NFC West opponent in the LA Rams. So both teams,
historic franchises, great ambassadors of the NFC, and it's gonna
be a head to head competition against who wants him more.

Baker Mayfield. What are your impressions of him as a
player and as a guy who never shut up when
you were on the field. What do you think about
him talking?

Hey, I will say, Man, when you're talking, you got
to back it up, and I will he has backed
it up in a way where he's hard to He's
hard to sack. For one, if you go back, you
look at how many sacks heat and broke, and then
how many times he extended plays.

Man, he has done a great job.
Speaker 6 (33:57):
Then he's for him to be talking stuff and been
bounced around in the beginning of his career, it was
a good learning lesson for him, But I want him
to be him. Like you say, it's a different narrative, Moxie,
I like it. You know, you more season a little
more and so yeah, man, I could relate to that
because you got to back it up if you're gonna talk.

Both those teams in wildly different ways. This is a

seen Kittle in weeks, We're never going to see Bosa

for the rest of this season. But then you just
look down, it's four and one and you beat McVeigh.
It's just very very impressed with San Francisco right now.
This If they get to five and one by beating
the Baker experience, then it's like, are they a really
good team Mantai or do they just have a really
good record and really good character.

I think it's a really good team.

You know, when you look at a team like that
that continues to produce without you know, with everybody having
such low expectation, I think you have to look at
that team. I know we're talking about this game, but
one thing that I'm also looking forward to is a
miked up version of this game, because you know we
were talking about Baker likes to talk, but Fred Warner
also likes to talk. And there's nothing better than hearing

a quarterback and a linebacker in the middle of a
cadence go back and forth with each other, post post play,
go back and forth each other with each other. So
there's going to be so many things we're going to
look at, so many things we're going to celebrate about
and dissect on this show that I'm really excited to
see a KB.

I just think back to Kyle's right to get you there,
like the Fred Warner just running off the felt helmet
flying back. There is just so much moxie too when
you think about all the players. But I definitely want
to give Mac Jones his flowers. The way he's been
able to step in, you know, that shrug that we
saw from him, what he's been able to do in
a backup role. Kyle has also been spectacled. It's a

surgeons almost of Mac Jones.

Well, it's so much so that, listen, Mac Jones may
be starting somewhere next year. We don't know how that's
gonna go out. We have seen this happen before. There's
a reason that Sam Donald is where he is because

the bench for Kyle Shanahan the year before. He wasn't
even doing what Mac is doing, which is coming in
and winning games like it's no big deal. Mac Jones was. Listen,
do you remember anything about his time in Jacksonville. I don't.

I barely remember that it happened. He was a Jaguar.

It was just like this blank experience where it's like, well,
I guess that's it for mac Jones. Let's put some

Well, now he's like, he's been incredible. He's been really, really,

head about this game. What else did you want to
add about Niners versus Bucks.

Hey, you got to give credit to Shanahan too, because
mac Jones has definitely benefited from this system. You've seen
Rock Party who's benefitted from the system. It's a good
thing he's matched up with the coaches because that's important
when you when you were in the NFL, it's about
who you matched up with. You see guys that leave
other teams that, like you said, you ain't know nothing
about Jacksonville mc jones, but you know about forty nine

ers mac Jones. So that's a credit to the coaches,
the scheme that they run, and that then you find
a perfect fit because that stuff really does matter and
it helps people careers and researchers.

Like you said, yeah, it's not just helping mac Jones,
but it's also helping Kendrick Bourne and all types of
guys that Kendrick Bourne just got there like I think
two weeks ago and then had a career high last
week against the LA Rams. So again to what everybody
is saying, it's a system that is well run. It's
a system that is when executed well, you have those
types of results where you're going to situation where I

don't think anybody thought that the San Francisco forty nine
ers had a chance against the La Rams, and then
they pull off a gutsy win both offensively and defensively.

It wasn't just the.

Offense producing at a higher clip and converting all of
those third downs, but it was the defense coming up
with big time turnovers, stripping Karen Williams on the goal
line and then causing that turnover.

It's just a complete team effort.

And sometimes guys, when injuries do occur on the team,
the rest of the guys come together. The bad teams
they usually split apart, but guys like San Francisco, the
reason why we are talking about them most oftentimes than
not in the postseason is this is a team that
no matter what happens, trials, tribulations, adversities, they tend to
just come together more times than not.

to watch this game. It's a headline game between two quarterbacks,
but a million different storylines, and I completely celebrate the
