Makes no sense on the what kind of Friday.

Energy you would you not see yet?

Isaac Rochelle Notre Dame represent Kyle Brandts in New York City,
wearing a T.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Shirt that I still need clarification on.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
But last night, Thursday Night Football, Kyle, it delivered. We
have an hour to get to to talk about it.
But also we'll go ahead to Sunday.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah. I'll get to the T shirt actually shortly in
this segment. It's my second favorite, Jamie. But in the meantime,
an amazing game last night, just absolutely incredible. We'll get
to it right after this. Let's just start the show.
Good Morning Football.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Come on number one.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Welcome to Good Morning Football, presented by Hold Trapper Dude.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
The show started the show.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Baby.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, yeah, all right, so while Manti's doing that, I
wanted to that was a great reference, Kyle, stay, sir,
Joe Fraco can do what we can do.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, nobody's popping Achilles. Everybody take a sing.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
That would it'd be brutal. That would be a loss
for the day for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Kyle, do the whole highlight for Thursday night football while.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Jumping and bopping around.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Do it?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Bring some juice?

Speaker 1 (01:49):
You think I won't, You think I can't. Let's go
roll this thing. Let's do it. Steelers Bengals, we get it.
The quarterback's roll, we get it. We love it. Rogers Flacco,
and then there's that guy's I'm not old, shut up.
I'm about to show you what the young people can do.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
You're right.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, it's a good point there. Jamar touchdown, He beats
Jalen Ramsey. He was his second straight touchdown, really because
one of them was nullified. Ignored the flag he was
on Ramsey. Joe Flacco clapping awkwardly on the bench. Touchdown
Jamar Chase. However, the Steelers and Bengals both came to
fight here. Rogers next drive up ten to seven. He's like,
I want to play. I want to go deep. I'm

(02:29):
doing this. I got cool receivers. Well, he missed him there.
Jordan Battle picks it off, Rogers' fourth interception of the season,
not his last one of the night. Next Bengals drive Flacco.
He's like, we pay Higgins too, It's not all Jamar
T Higgins twenty nine yard touchdown. Seventh straight home game
with a touchdown for Ti Higgins, longest treak in the league.
Weird staff, but kind of cool. Mike Town was like,

(02:51):
I hate those stupid Browns. What were they thinking? Fourth quarter,
Bengals leading twenty to seventeen. No Offan, No Offan. I
like saying his name. I haven't said it in a while.
He's kind of bounced around. He's found a good bought
there touchdown Bengals Aaron Rodgers down ten points. Who's he
looking for? Oh, the big Darnel Washington. That's the six

(03:14):
seven dance. I don't know how hands going up and
down correlate to six and seven. I don't even want
to ask. I'm just gonna go with it. I don't
care anymore. Thirty to twenty four Rogers flyer moves gone, gone, gone, gone,
sixty eight yards. Rogers fired up chase, like, what the hell?
How many catches do I got to make to win

(03:35):
this game?

Speaker 5 (03:36):
A lot?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Broderick Jones being part of the highlights shortly it's very funny.
But Rogers he found a little seam in the zone
there and Fiarman just went brought him. Jones so excited
to celebrate he would end up going to tackle Rogers.
We cut it out of this highlight and that it's hilarious.
We talked about it earlier. Flaco down one under two
to play. Look how open to our chases?

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Come on?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I don't want to say insults to the Steelers, but
I mean, what are you doing? Just let everybody else open?
If you have to guard number one? That's probably what
just just thinking. Adman McPherson kicking for the Bengals. Am
I gonna have to kick a game winner? Not so fast,
my friend, because I'm going up top again to T Higgins,
got it slides brilliant milk the clock. If he scores there,

(04:17):
there's about a minute forty left. The Bengals probably lose
that game the way it was going. T Higgins veteran player.
Awesome job. Avan McPherson He's already made three kicks on
the night. This one's a piece of cake. Even in
the era when every single kick gets blocked every week,
that one is good. That means the Bengals thirty plus
three is thirty three. They have a two point lead
over the Steelers. But wait, we get to watch the

(04:38):
greatest thrower of the hail Mary of all time. This
is such an honor. Watch him roll out to the
left and absolutely howk this pigskin seventy yards? They have
a chance. I think the Steelers are gonna catch it. No,
Rogers did his job. But even he doesn't complete every
single Hail Mary in Joe two point oho, we trust?
Are you guys talking about black Blacko's like twelve point zero?
Two point oho is fifteen years ago? What are you

(04:59):
talking about? Thirty three to thirty one Bengals win in
I'm gonna say one of my favorite football games in years.
Let's hear from oh Mark I got came off the
football street. He caught up with Bengals star Jamar. Chase Jamar,
what a day?

Speaker 6 (05:17):
You set the franchise record, broke your own and catches
sixteen catches, one hundred and sixty one yards, Tuddy, what.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Got into you today? I don't know.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Thursday Night Football, Prime time, best receivers in the world,
best dvs in the world.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
What more can you ask for? It?

Speaker 6 (05:33):
You talk about that battle, the Steelers said they got
these corners four games like this, So Jalen Ramsey and
Darius Slay, what did you see in those matchups that
allowed you to have some success?

Speaker 7 (05:45):
A lot of one on ones, a lot of opportunities
to make creation, to get the bottle nine hands and
make an opportunity.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Joe Flecko got here nine days ago and he looked
like he had been here for years.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
What did you see in your quarterback today?

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Uh Man?

Speaker 7 (05:58):
Honestly, Joe Flack was a great veteran quarterback. He comes
in ten days ago and like we picked off, like
he's been here, you know what I'm saying. And the
way he's so poisoned in a huddle throughout the whole game. Young,
it's not many quarterbacks as you see like that. You know,
he makes no facial expressions and that's gonna keep everybody
else going.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Jamar Chase is.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Making an expatial expression though he is thrilled. Sixteen catches,
bucks sixty through the air.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
It was perfect.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
The Bengals pull off a Thursday night upset. Although the
way Mike Tomlin spoke of Joe Flacco ribving in Cincinnati,
it all of a sudden leveled the playing field a
little bit. Cincinnati was impressive. They took down the Steelers
man side. This made major moves within the division.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Maja, oh, maja, major.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Move, Jamie.

Speaker 8 (06:43):
What a beautiful game it was last night, Guys. Like,
when I look at this game, I'm looking at a
quarterback like Kirkurbshet was saying this all over the broadcast
last night.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
How was he able to do this? Is? This is
how he's able to do it, guys. It's a simple
game plan. Football is a simple sport.

Speaker 8 (06:57):
The game plan for the Bengals get the ball to
Jamar Chase just no matter what, get the ball to him.
If they bring some help over there to help whatever
corner I talked about yesterday, I wanted to watch Jalen
Ramsey and Jamar. It didn't matter who was going in.
Jamar like he was going to get the ball. Now,
if two guys go over there, look for t Higgins
or anybody opposite of Jamaar Chase and get the ball
to them if they help out both sides run the

(07:18):
ball with Chase Brown and the six games that they
played previous, they had three hundred and forty rushing yards total.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Last night one hundred and forty two.

Speaker 8 (07:26):
It's amazing what happens when you have a quarterback that
not only can get the ball to your star players,
but can dissect a defense. You ever wonder why Mike
Tomlin didn't like this trade from the Browns to the Bengals, it's.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Because of that.

Speaker 8 (07:39):
It's because a quarterback that's forty plus years old can
come into a situation less than two weeks and put
on a performance like that on a team that was
leading to the bit that is currently leading the.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Vision in the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was just perfect for
me to watch. This was my childhood on display, watching these.

Speaker 8 (07:56):
Two quarterbacks go go ahead to head. So to wrap
this all up a few weeks ago, le'sen two weeks
ago when Joe Flacco went over there to Cincinnati. They
asked Jamar Chase if he knew of Joe Flacco, and
he said, I didn't really follow him because he followed
Drew Brees. I think after last night, Jamar Chase really
loved Joe Flackel. He's probably his most favorite quarterback over

(08:17):
forty years old because of the way that he was
able to get him the ball.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
So that's what I'm gonna say about that game.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
I loved it.

Speaker 9 (08:22):
After seeing that interview, I thought Jamar Chase was like
the coolest person I've ever metaged But how does he
not know Joe Flacco?

Speaker 8 (08:28):
What are you doing, Jamar Chase Louisiana, He was from Louisiana.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
He liked Drew.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
I'm not buying into that.

Speaker 9 (08:33):
What I will say, there's not many quarterbacks in the NFL,
or even that are sitting at home, that you could
just pull onto your roster and they would perform as
well as he's performing right now. Joe Flacco really was
like the perfect option for them. And here's what's crazy.
It's hard to set culture in an NFL locker room.
It feels like right now, with Joe Flacco coming on
his team, the energy, the way that they're running the ball,

(08:55):
it seems like there's some culture that's getting set. What
is culture to me? I think about excitement. Regardless of
Joe Flacco's facial expressions, there is excitement in this locker room.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
I think about winning close games.

Speaker 9 (09:06):
The great teams with great culture, they win close games.
And they're doing that even with a Plugin Chubb quarterback
like Flaco. And then lastly man Tay you mentioned it,
this rushing attack, Chase Brown. The Bengals rushing was phenomenal
last night. They had more yards in the first half
of this football game than they had in any other
individual football game before that. So again, I think that's

(09:28):
culture winning the.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Line of scrimmage.

Speaker 9 (09:30):
I said it earlier thinking about head coach Zach Taylor
coming in those meetings and saying, hey, guys, how do
we set culture? How do we win this game? We
went into the line of scrimmage. This is a trench
game and that's exactly what they did.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
So for me, I'm just I'm kind.

Speaker 9 (09:42):
Of proud for football that Flaco has come in and
created a culture that they have.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
So I'm excited for this Bengals team moving forward.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah, because who knows where it goes, right, I mean,
we don't know that could Flaco pull off another run,
Like if you could do it with Cleveland, you could
do it anywhere. He has it in him. I'm just
so excited about this game. I started the show by
saying it earlier today, and the elephant in the room
is the age, and I'm just going to lean into it.
The NFL has done, it is doing so many wonderful

(10:11):
things to attract young viewers, and God bless them, but
there are still people who are the age of Joe Flacco,
Aaron Rodgers and me who have been with this game,
who loved this game, and who are staying with this game.
I understand why Jamar Chase did what he did last nights.
He's twenty five years old, he won the Genetic power Ball.
He's wildly gifted. But you know, Jamar Chase was in

(10:33):
a sitting in a car seat while Aaron Rodgers was
sitting in the green room at the NFL Draft watching
teams take pac Man Jones in front of him. That's
an astounding thing. And so for all these young initiatives
and all these crazy cool places, the way the game
is going, I just think it's so cool that last
night was a tip of the hap to where it's been.
And there's a certain section of the audience last night

(10:55):
who was standing up, probably a little slowly because their
knees are bad, who are like hell, yes, and that game.
That game is for you. I see these memes all
the time on Instagram and it'll show something from the eighties,
like a he Man figure, and it'll say, if you
know what this is, I bet your low back is
hurting right now. And first of all, I always know
what it is, and yes, my lower back is hurting.

(11:15):
I don't think it's funny. But that game last night
is for those people. If you have an ironic vinyl collection,
that game was for you. If your high school cleats
were the Nike Shark high Tops, that game is for you.
If you've been married over ten years, that game is
for you. If you're divorced, that game is for you.
A lot of games are for the other guys. It's
okay and girls, this one was for us. They showed

(11:38):
Joe Burrow last night. I'm so drunk on this game.
I'm like, I don't want Joe Burr to come back
right now. I don't maybe want him to never come back.
I want to see Joe Flacco.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
I'm into it, and I just have to bring it
all the way back. Jamie asked about this this shirt
that I'm wearing, this shirt, this is a Lorie Strode.
Lorii Strode is the character's name. The actor's name is,
of course, Jamie Lee Curtis. And this is from John
Carpenter's Halloween all those years ago, and I was just
wearing it. See, let me let the people see what
I'm talking about. They can't make our shawkeet same. There

(12:08):
we go. Look at that. It's up like a perfect
side by side, and she's all business and she's a
Hollywood legend, and I was just wearing this seasonally. It's
a tumnol and then she's got a knife and everyone
loves Halloween. Jamie Lee Curtis. But then you know what
the other part of it is, Jamie erdahal, I'll talk
to other Jamie. The other part of it is Jamie
Lee Curtis won an Academy Award at sixty four years old.

(12:29):
Damn it, sixty four after fifty years in the industry.
She's still holding it down, still all class, still all
grace up there with the Academy where that was some
Joe Flacco last night. Put her in any role in
any city, with any surrounding cast, and she will deliver
all the way to the dais where she was right

(12:50):
now Jamie Lee, we see you, we love you, Jamie
Lee and Joe Flacco for me, all coming up Halloween,
all coming up dominance at a late age where they
just keep getting finer like wine. It's an amazing thing.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
And people were.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Really happy with Jamie Lee Curtis recently because she has
always had the back of a young Lindsay Lowin they
remained friends.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Lindsay went through.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
All of them terrible times in her life, and like
you know what's classy about Jamie Lee Curtis, she maintained
the friendship and supported this person, much like how Joe
Flacco was expected to maintain the relationship and support the
young quarterbacks, but then sometimes he just has to go
out there and sling it the way Jamie Lee Curtis
did to win that Oscar.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
I'm still the number one, Jamie Though. On Kyle Brand's
book you.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Heard it here from Kilbournie Football, right, it's been documented.
Moving on, a couple of characters that we have to
talk about in the Broncos Giants game that were born
in nineteen ninety eight and two thousand and three. Since
we are clarifying this, a little chirpy between these two teams.
Ahead of this game, Broncos linebacker Jonathan Cooper born in
ninety eight, was asked about a two thousand and three
born quarterback in Jackson Dart, and Cooper had this to say.

Speaker 10 (13:48):
Yeah, I mean he's a young young guy. He's you know,
feeling himself a little bit. He's out there running around,
he's got the chain on, he's dancing, you know. Feel
everybody needs something, so, you know, but we've went against
qb who have ran around in the pocket and have
you know, try to do stuff with their legs. So

(14:10):
it ain't nothing we ever seen.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Was that not an awkward pause after he said that.
I think the press corps was like, dude, don't do that.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
That's not it's not.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Broncos linebacker Nick Benito, in a since deleted tweet, said
about the Giants fan base, I've never seen such a
delusional fan base. What is up with the choice words
from the Broncos players? Kevon Thibodeau followed this thing up.
I say, what did I miss?

Speaker 5 (14:34):
What?

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Hold on? Kyle? Start this one off for us?

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Can you dissect not only what was said amongst Jonathan
Cooper at Jackson Dart, but also the social media activity
of the youth.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Twenty twenty five media. It's fun right here. This is
good stuff because after Kavon said what did I miss,
a thousand Giants fans filled him in and then Keevon
tweeted the Denzel gift from Judgment THESS like all right, okay,
all right, like NodD in his head like that, like
he he's ready to play. I mean, this is all
kinds of fun and it's people like making little comments
about it each other. But what I love about it

(15:06):
is the Giants had the Broncos attention. The Giants were
a miserable mess just a few weeks ago, high profile, fun,
effective winning, and they got the Broncos maybe the best
defense in the entire league, chirping about them and noticing
that their star quarterback, the rookie quarterback, where's a necklace?
That's very specific. He had opinions about him. They have

(15:27):
opinions about the fan base. Nobody had any opinions about
the Giants about twenty minutes ago. No, I mean, if
you did, they were not good opinions. Mostly you're just
apithet epithetic opinions. Now the Broncos are like, yeah, we're
kind of geared up for this one. Not a fan
of the fan base, noticing that they're rookie quarterbacks, kind
of feeling himself like Scataboo's talking about how much they're

(15:47):
going to use him. Like that's two and four. Giants
got a little buzz right now, and the best defense
in the NFL is noticing it and calling them out.
And I absolutely love it. To me, this is like
the Giants while I had your curiosity, well now I
have your attention. Let's see how the game goes. Show up, baby,
Giants pulled this. This thing is nuclear.

Speaker 8 (16:06):
And the whole reason why we're talking about them, and
the whole reason why they have our attentions KB is
because just so we could go exactly a week ago today,
we're talking about our takeaways from this game where the
Giants play the Philadelphia Eagles defense, especially those two young rookies,
and they accounted for four touchdowns, three of them coming
from Scatt and one of them coming from.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Jackson dart All via the run.

Speaker 8 (16:27):
So we weren't expecting these two rookies to go up
against one of the more physical defenses in the NFL
and do what they did. Now I'm at the point
myself personally where I really like this young nucleus of
guys that they got over there with Jackson, Dart and Scat.
I like what they were able to do against a
really good defense in the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I want to believe them.

Speaker 8 (16:50):
And if they were able to go in this week
in Denver, in hostile territory and do what they did
last week or anything near that against arguably the best
defense in the NFL, the defense that is leading to
the NFL in sacks, that's gonna say a lot about
these two young guys. So I'm gonna have my eyes

(17:10):
on six and forty four, as I know everybody else will.
But if he's if Jackson, if Jackson Dart is able
to sit in that pocket amidst all of that pressure
and still deliver.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
We're gonna be talking about him again.

Speaker 9 (17:22):
I just picture Roger Goodell is just sitting there with popcorn,
just loving it.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
For the sport of football.

Speaker 9 (17:27):
I feel like so many things are happening in the
NFL this year, This last night's game, this storyline, it's
just good for the game and I'm personally loving it.
But here's a couple of things. I feel like this
is like a no bad press situation. I like people
talking about Jackson Dart. I think he's doing exactly what
you would want to see a young quarterback who's productive doing.
Another side of it is this D line, and you

(17:49):
mentioned it talking about guys that get after the quarterback.
I want my D line coming in the media saying
that if I'm a D line coach, I'm not. I
don't want my D lineman to get up in front
of the camera and be like, yeah, you know, we'll
see No. I need you to be in dog mode.
This guy's walking around with the chain. I'm going to
chase him down the full game. So I kind of
love it. But again, this is what happens when you

(18:10):
have a football team with Skataboo and Jackson Dart and
a team that's just playing with so much passion, and
like I said, it's just so good for the sport
of football.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
You can't help football in love with it.

Speaker 9 (18:20):
So I think you talked about Matthew's matchups. I think
this is gonna be a really fun game for fans
to watch.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
He talked about the commissioner just Eden Copper, and I
feel like, as football fans right now, the way these
games are gonna play like we will just lap up
anything that's put in front of us. Like ten days
ago we were obsessed with the youthful energy of Scataboo
and Jackson Dart and last night we are full blown
like aarp card quarterbacks, like this is whatever is put
in front of us, we will eat it up. Exactly.

(18:47):
It's just whatever floats your vote. But fun, entertaining football is.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
What we're all about, which is why Dolphins.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Browns on Sunday, Jamie, let's go.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
You're right, You're right, Tom Pellisero, get in here.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
How are you, my friend? Let's look elsewhere in.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
The AFC West and topic that I know you love,
just really bringing us home with injuries, always.

Speaker 11 (19:10):
Here to bring down the conversation and energy, Jamie, that's
my role on this show. Let's talk about some good
news though for the LA Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston
upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursdays, he
makes his way back from the hamstring injury that kept
him out last week. There's been nothing firm from Jim
Harbaugh at this point on Johnston's status, but full participation

(19:33):
on Thursday certainly would suggest it is trending in the
right direction for the Chargers standout receiver to be back
on the field on Sunday against the Colts. It's also
trending upboard on left tackle Joe Ault, at a position where,
of course, the Chargers have been gutted this season. All
returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since

(19:53):
he suffered a high ankle spring back in Week four.
According to reporters on the scene, he had his ankle
heavily taped up.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Remains to be seen whether or not he can ramp
up quickly.

Speaker 11 (20:03):
Enough to play this Sunday, but regardless, big picture, this
is a good sign that Joe Alt is headed back
forward getting onto the field.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Jamie, thank you, Tom.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
I hope you are well. How are your AirPods doing?
Are they plugged in and charged? After covering the news
from last night?

Speaker 11 (20:18):
You know the thing was, I saw the little clip
after Garifolo cold called me on the show yesterday to
call me out about sleeping with my AirPods, and again
I would reiterate I don't do it every time. It
is mainly driven by when there is a significant piece
of news that could come while I'm trying to get
some rem sleep, or in the instance of yesterday after

(20:40):
flying back on a red eye, it's when someone decided
to use a chainsaw next door to me, and I
put them on with some rain sounds and the noise
canceling that allowed me to get a couple of hours
of much seated shut eye. So it can be bright
and perky on this show today until someone.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Decides to come out of retirement and it's like Tom,
get us the news.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Tella Sera, thanks so much.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Speaking of Isaac saying, you know DNS chasing down quarterback?
What's Max kros We going to mess around and do
to Patrick Mahomes this weekend? This old matchup is always electric.
We got Matt Minette coming up. You guys know how
to play the game. Twenty seconds to each share the ball,
pass it around, Kyle, Jamie Lee Curtis the goat. Jamie,
I'll give up the number one spot.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
No, never, Jamie, it's you. It's Jamie Lee Curtis, It's
Jamie Lanister. No, there's all kinds of what we can
get into, but Jaguars and Rams go head to head
in a matchup of four and two teams. Pretty tasty
game there, Trefford Lawrence going to be Matthew Stafford. It's
kind of cooling me talking Jags. Plus every the game
on the schedule. I made fun of Browns Dolphins, but

(21:41):
I'm high for it. Tell me or not. Good Morning football,
don't go anywhere. Good Morning Football.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Time for Aaron Bround Fantasy Advice presented by FedEx.

Speaker 8 (22:00):
If you're looking for a flex player to start for
your fantasy team, to help you get this when this
look no further than that man right there.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Bucks running back Rashad White.

Speaker 8 (22:08):
He is in line to get the start Monday night
against the Lions. He's averaging nineteen touches over the last
two games while scoring three touchdowns. He could be the
guy to help you pull out that win in Week seven.
Sister Jamie, we're always winning on this show. But what
else do you have going on?

Speaker 2 (22:27):
We have an old friend, Richard Graves stopping by and
you know why because he's boots on the ground for
us in London ahead of Rams Jaguars, the final game
of free to be played in London by the NFL.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
This is Week seven.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
They're still Germany to stop by and Madrid Spain as well.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
But nine thirty am Eastern is your kick for Rams Jaguars, Richard.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Wonderful to see you this morning slash afternoon for you.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Let's play a little game, shall we.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
If someone we're always trying to retain new NFL fans
across the pond, if someone stopped you in the beautiful
park that you have in London and said, why should
I care about this game? This matchup ahead a Sunday
morning football, what would you tell that new found fan
of American football?

Speaker 12 (23:09):
I'd suggest they perhaps might want to keep an eye
on the battle of the two head coaches, because they're
two men that know each other extremely well. Janie, remember
Sean McVay appointed head coach of the Rams back in
twenty seventeen. Well, in twenty eighteen, the head coach of
the Jacksonville Jaguars, Liam Cohen, joined his staff as the
wide receivers coach. He spent two years in that position
before progressing to coaching the quarterbacks, and then returned to

(23:31):
the Rams in twenty twenty two to be the offensive coordinator.
And when he was asked this morning in his media availability,
what was the one thing you took from Sean McVay
in terms of building a culture within the building. He said,
it's simple, one word communication and not just with the
coaches and players, but everyone in the building, from the
equipment staff to the video staff to the training stuff.

(23:51):
He wants to ensure that everybody is excited to come
to work every day. It's about creating a vibe. And
there's been a lot of communication going on with the
Jags this weekend. This week rather over here in London
in the wake of that loss to the Seattle Seahawks
last Sunday, a loss which incidentally snaps a three game
winning streak, Coach Cohen again telling us it's about looking
at ourselves, clean the pad game, doing the basics rights.

(24:14):
One man who wasn't part of the team that lost
the Seahawks last weekend, censor Robert Haynes, he missed that
game with a hamstring. Well, he's practiced the last two
days here. We're told he's likely good to go come
Sunday against the Rams, and we were told this morning
that he brings a toughness, a physicality and a leadership,
all qualities the Jags will need here at Wembley Stadium
on Sunday. When you consider against going against the Rams

(24:36):
defense that racks number three in the NFL in terms
of points allowed, Jamie.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Thank you so much, Richard.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
One last time, can you just say the Jacksonville mascot
name and don't shorten it for me, say the.

Speaker 11 (24:45):
Whole word, the Jacksonville Jaguars jackson Deville.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yeah, Jaguars, jackson Neville. Thank you so much, Richard, You're
the man. We appreciate you. Enjoy your weekend. With the
final game of the NFL being played in London. All right, guys,
we got this one. Rams Jaguar is sitting at four
and two. You got to look at these tea and
decide whether or not someone will become a contender and
established dominance if you will, within the AFC.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Mancy, what you got when you look at this game?

Speaker 8 (25:12):
Well, first and foremost, I think it's very interesting that
coach Sean McVay has kept his team in the States
this long. I think it's going to be one of
those things where they said that they kept them in Baltimore.
They played in Baltimore last week and they stayed there
and they're just going to fly out the day before
the game. Almost treated like as if they would go
to the West coast to the East coast. The only
issue I have with that is, if I calculated correctly,

(25:33):
London is five hours ahead of Eastern time, so if
you go from California to the East Coast, it's only
three so it's almost double that. So I know you
have a veteran team, but that jet like stuff is
very real out there in London. I played there, and
fortunately we had a coach that took us out there
a whole week in advance, so we had time to
adjust to it. So that's going to be something that

(25:55):
I'm going to watch. But Devin Lloyd isn't playing for
the Jaguars be not able to have your Mike linebacker
against a guy like Matt Stafford, I think it's going
to be a challenge. But that defense continues to take
away the ball away, so regardless of who's playing for them,
I'm sure that will continue.

Speaker 9 (26:10):
For the first time ever, I feel like I completely
disagree with you on the track as you should, and
I'm gonna renference twenty eighteen the Chargers. When I was
playing there, we went and played the Browns, we won,
played a great game, and we stayed there for the
rest of the week. Left Thursday, went to London and
then we ended up playing the Titans beat them in
an overtime game. So look, I think you have to
look at these weeks where you're playing across the country

(26:32):
and then traveling.

Speaker 5 (26:32):
You gotta look at it as like a two for one.
You said you left Thursday, it might have been Thursday
or Friday.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
See they're leaving the day before.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
You know what, here's my thing, play win the game.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
I think you played it.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Win the game.

Speaker 9 (26:42):
I think what you tell your team is, hey, we're
not going to overthink the time change. We're not going
to overthink that. Just just get there. I'll play you
on concrete if I have to. I think that's what
they're saying, like a two irishman.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
But here's what I'll say.

Speaker 9 (26:52):
This Drags team is really hard not to love. I
mean just everything about them. You watched the game where
they played the Chiefs. Trevor Lawrence is tripping into the
end zone and then after the game they interview him
and you're, oh, my god, I just kind of love
this guy. He's just like this soft spoken, passionate quarterback
who happened to be playing great football this year.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
I think about Liam Cohen.

Speaker 9 (27:12):
I mean, everybody was kind of joking around about the
du Vall comments in the off season and whatnot, and
then the guy comes in and it's just all work,
create a culture. We just heard from coach Ron this
guy special. And then lastly, I think about the Vets
like Armstead on the d line, who have just continued
to prove themselves year after year. I mean, I'm just
it's like, I've never been a Jags guy.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Why would I be?

Speaker 9 (27:34):
But now I'm like, wait, am I kind of a
Jags guy?

Speaker 5 (27:36):
Like?

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Are we there?

Speaker 5 (27:38):
So I'm excited for this team.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
There aren't a lot of Jags guys and girls. It's
the thirty second media market in the league. There aren't.
But also, if you've been around long enough, like you
know that there's a cool thing to them. When they
were an expansion team, they were cool. Maybe you had
the starter jacket and they were cool and Tom Coffin
was their coach, and then they had these every once
in a while. They have a really cool run, including
you know, seven eight years ago when they were in

(28:00):
an NFC title game and some say should have won
the super Bowl. So when they pop up, it's cool.
I just I was so frustrated last week with the
Jags because they popped up big time against the Chiefs
and they win the game. When he touched on in
the fireworks and it's like, oh my god, the Jags
might be one of the stories of this year.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
It didn't get.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Talked about a lot. The Jags game last week in Seattle.
It was very deflating. They scored twelve points, Trevor Lawrence
was sacked a career high seven times. They just didn't
have it at all. And I was like, Ah, you
jagged on us, You jagged us up. We thought we
were going to be excited for something and you went
full Jaguars. This is a chance to come back. And honestly,

(28:36):
if you have past protection problems like they did last week,
this is not a great matchup. I don't like playing
Jared burs at Al on the Rams team, but if
you're the Jaguars, is it just going to be one
of those things where you give us a little taste
and Trevor Lawrence makes a memorable play and then we
look up two months from now and you're eight and
eight or are you for real? You're at home. The
team believes in you. You have a really good opponent.

(28:57):
Come in Jamie earlier in the week we did our
top five teams. I know I had the Rams in
my top five in the entire NFL. So this is
a opportunity for Jacksonville to say, no, no, no, no, we
didn't jag this up. Stay with us.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
We got this.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I'm having a memory and frankly a flashback from my
dating days where like, you didn't want to be a
jag just another guy.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
You wanted to be like that dude, right, and.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
So you don't want to be the Jag of the NFL.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
You want to be that team, that dog.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
So now we're going to see whether or not the
Jags are going to jag it up this weekend or
you know what I mean, be a Jag or be
that team you know?

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Never no, well, Jamie, I listen. Also, Jag used to
be a sexy show on CBS the Judge Affick at
General with some very handsome people, so that show kind
of sizzled for a while too. It doesn't have to
be a bad word. You can choose which Jag you want.
And you know, I think they got the opportunity this weekend.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
They absolutely do.

Speaker 13 (29:46):
We keep talking about it, the Bengals getting that huge
win over the Steelers on Thursday night.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
That game just Chef's kiss.

Speaker 13 (29:53):
But earlier this week they were hosting a big NFL
Flag tournament.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Check this out.

Speaker 13 (29:58):
The Bengals Regional was the first event of a twenty
twenty five fall Regional series. This super Regional allowed any
NFL Flag team to compete.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
The Toledo Dirty Birds.

Speaker 13 (30:08):
Won the TENU division after previously winning the eight U
division at the NFL Flag Championships. The PFFL League also
won the ten You Girls and twelve U divisions.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Incredible work out there. We love to see this.

Speaker 13 (30:23):
Find a league near you, visit nflflag dot com. Well,
when we come back, we are breaking out the stopwatch,
only sixty minutes on the clock, going to take a
spin around the league, spin around the table, A little
mad minute coming your way on a Friday.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Good morning football.

Speaker 14 (30:55):
This game, it means more to everybody, everybody that's playing
in the game, both sides of the football, and so
you have to have that mentality. So ayay. It's a true
rivalry game. You don't have a lot of those in
the NFL, and I'm blessed to be a part of
it because it really does bring out the best in
both teams.

Speaker 15 (31:10):
In the spirits of seeing two forty plus year old
quarterbacks go head to head on Thursday night, Football Raiders
Chiefs is the matchup of the oldest active head coaches
in the NFL, Pete Carroll and Andy Reid.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
It's time for mad minute that starts the clock for
us on this first matchup. Guys, we got about half
a dozen games to get through, so play nice.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Who's up first, man, Tito.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Euro Up Raiders Chiefs?

Speaker 5 (31:33):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (31:33):
October seventeenth?

Speaker 8 (31:34):
Well, the reason why I looked at my watch was
not only did I start late on this thing, but
October seventeenth. The Chiefs are playing like how they usually
playing December seventeenth.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Right now, I remember she.

Speaker 8 (31:42):
Rice gets back, So it's looking scary for guys with
the Chiefs team that's looking as good as they've looked.
And then also to have somebody like Rushi Rice come back,
He's going to have a heavy workload supposedly, so that's
going to That's what I'm gonna watch.

Speaker 9 (31:54):
Okay, other side, I'm gonna talk about my former team,
the Raiders. I just want to know is Geno Smith
going to turn the ship around? Because right now people
are out on Geno Smith. He hasn't really played well.
This is his opportunity to play well against an ascending
Chiefs team.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
So the question of the day is who is Geno No?

Speaker 1 (32:09):
I don't know. And the question of the day is
who's going to let the Chiefs into the club? I
told you not to do it. They're five hundred. They
win this game for the divisional win. They're four and three,
couple wins and then a bye. We did their top
five ranking of teams earlier in the week. Who do
we think of the top five teams right now? In
a vacuum? I mean I had the Chiefs I think
at two or three. They looked incredible last week. They're

(32:30):
getting healthier at the right time. I don't care what
their record is. They win this game. They're about five hundred,
and you let you mess let them get up, Michael Myers,
you let them get up. You got to keep them down. James,
you know them down all right?

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Bears, Saints and Kyle. I just I just want to
tread lightly when I are people in Chicago superstitious about
me mentioning how many straight wins this could be? Or
are you fully comfortable saying that it could be a
certain number of straight wins for the Bears.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah, sure, I mean it's because they're doing things they
haven't done before. They haven't the three and two, the
three in a row, they could be four in a row.
Like it's it's all. I'm comfortable with all of it.
If you're not, you got to just embrace it. Also
kind of a cool deal here Kayleb Williams versus Spencer Rattler,
former college teammates in Oklahoma. Spencer Ratler was benched for
Caleb Williams in college, which led him to leave Oklahoma.
He was asked about it this week. It's a kind

(33:17):
of a cool tip of the cap back to the
college ball, and I know both these guys want to
get after it. Mantik.

Speaker 8 (33:21):
We haven't talked a lot about Dennis Allen coaching his
own team, a team that he used to be the
head coach for that he was a defensive coordinator while.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
I was there for.

Speaker 8 (33:29):
So he's this is one of those games, right that
you circle for Dennis Allen. Dennis Allen does take things personal.
I do know that, So I do know right before
the game he's going to have a speech for those
boys over there in Chicago to get them ready against
the Saints.

Speaker 9 (33:41):
This is such an easy game. And talk about quarterbacks
and Caleb Williams. I want to see this Bears D line.
They only have eight sacks this season. They brought in guys.
Dio Odin, Yingbo came in. I want to see these
guys eat. This is a game of the trenches, as
it always is.

Speaker 5 (33:56):
Right. D line is the name of the game. So
let me see these boys eat all right.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Just across the streets, Chargers hosting the Colts. The Colts
making the straight the odd double trip to Los Angeles
in a single season. They were here a couple of
weeks ago to play the Rams. Now they're back to
play the Chargers. Colt of five but one, Chargers four
and two. Man, say what you got?

Speaker 8 (34:15):
I'm gonna look at the Coats And the reason why
I brought up the Steelers is because I feel like
the Colts are like the Steelers where they have a
winning record, but it's almost like, is this should we
be believing in this team? What we learned last night,
there are some things that they still have to overcome.
So if the Coats can beat the Chargers, my belief
in them is like, Okay, now we're going to start
gaining some traction.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
There, I got you.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
It's the Isaac Bowl. It's the Isaac Bowl.

Speaker 9 (34:38):
I played for both of these teams within five years.
This is the Isaac Bowl both.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
How many years between the two?

Speaker 9 (34:45):
Within one year it was Chargers to Colts. But this
is the Isaac Bowl in my first five years of
my career. Who cares? The point is, why are we
questioning Daniel Jones. We're going into week seven. This is
not a question of who are the Colts? Who is
Jonathan Taylor? No, these boys are real. This team is real.
But I also will say with the injured, with the injured,
charge there's team. They're still sitting at three and on

(35:06):
the division. This should be a great game. But I'm
all in on the cold.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
No. No, I like out of time, no Isaac Now,
Caby is going to take the next.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Game and go No, not no, he doesn't he listen.
I'm the new guys that should I go first?

Speaker 8 (35:20):
Jamie?

Speaker 1 (35:20):
Should I go first? On whatever?

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Listen, When it's the Isaac Bowl, you're allowed to do that.

Speaker 9 (35:25):
I should formally apologize, Kyle, Kyle, I can almost apologize.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
I can almost convince you that he's okay with passing
on colds Chargers.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
However, Falcons forty nine Ers. No, Isaac's not going first
Kyle for Kyle.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Just what I told you, Brouh, I told you, Bro,
I've been in this ye Jimmy, what's the game again?

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Mad? Minute fifty one?

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Now, I'm telling you, bro, what's the game? What's the matchup? Remindment?

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Oh, it's the Atlanta Falcons and they're in San Francisco
to take on the.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Forty nine Ers.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
I love I have people here being like it it's
Falcons Niners. I know I'm doing a bit, I know,
I know, all right, There's been so many great Niners
over the years. You know, you think of like Jerry Rice,
Joe Montana, Notre Dame guy. But at the same time,
the Falcons have had great players as well, you know.

(36:25):
They They've had Dion Sanders, Jamal Anderson, the Dirty Birds.
Is such a great history here, and this brings us
to today's Matchup's actually not today's it's Sunday. It's actually
Sunday night at eight twenty. I really think the Falcons
have a lot of momentum after they win over the Bills,
and I think that they'll probably take care of business
in this connect.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
Fascinating, Kyle, Oh, I love it.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
I love it.

Speaker 8 (36:49):
Bro all Right, that time of going down, I was like,
whole next minute.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
This is Isaac's first regular season Friday with us. He's
never played mad minutes, so it already happened.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Yeah, I'm bad, God forbid.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
It's like we're taking him to the goalpost. Sorry right
now with KP, I've been there, don't worry. I was
in that seat last year and it is okay. Oh,
look who goes first on this one, Jamie, let's go.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
I was actually going to do the whole sixty seconds,
but Kyle, if you want to go Dolphins Browns for
sixty seconds one in five, one and five Sunday at
one pm Eastern CBS.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
No, no, go ahaid Kyle, I'm not going to do
sixty seconds, but start the clock. I actually have a
good nugget on this, all right. So Dolphins Browns Dylan
Gabriel versus Tua. Guys, you know this is a lefty
on lefty matchup. This is really cool. You don't see
this anymore. Two thousand and six, the last time it
happened both South pause Now a lot of times they're funneled.

(37:47):
That's the last time. Chris Simms and Mike Vick during
his first day's Atlanta experience. I like this most of
the time the lefties are funneled to baseball. It's a
fun thing to watch. It feels weird. And here's the
reason to watch Dolphins Browns guys.

Speaker 8 (38:00):
If the last game was Isaac Bold, this is the
whole evol. First time ever, we make history this weekend
where two Holwaii born quarterbacks will start against each other.
Dylan Gabriel went to Millilani High School and then Tua
Tongolo went to Saint.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Louis High School.

Speaker 8 (38:17):
Dylan broke to US record for most passing yards from
a quarterback quarterback. So this is what we're going to
be left locked into.

Speaker 5 (38:23):
In fact, we almost just need to take a moment
of silence. We just enjoyed the seconds for Hawaii.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Do it for Hawaii, Hawaii. Okay, there we are. We
need great job. I love Mad Mine.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
There's nothing else I want to bring this version of
Mad minutes time.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
All right, fine, I'll get us a commercial. We'll be
right back on GMFB.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
We're gonna have something, or maybe we'll just play more
Mad Minute because we still have another game or.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Two that we could talk about.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
Patriots on Falcons, Niners guys.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
Yeah, keep going. You know the history, the feelings of it.
