a Bear shirt.

Would you look at that?
Speaker 3 (00:19):
I'm Jamie hurt All here in la as always a
manc iitao Willie Cologne joining Kyle as well.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Kyle, the question has now.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Become are you going to rip that shirt off of
your body the way that the head coach of the
Bears did on Friday?
Speaker 4 (00:33):
That's the cool thing to do. Ah.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yes, I will rip their shirt off my body. If
the Bears win the Super Bowl, We're a long, long
long way from there.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
I'm here with Willie. We're chilling.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
We had a great game, a weekend, great weeking of games.
You have to watch all the games because the Sunday
later was instredible. That is what we're going to start with.
I promise if you missed it, we got you. MENTI
Jamie Willing and to me, it's good Morning Football.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Welcome to Good Morning Football, presented by Old Trapper. That's right,
GMFB Monday, December.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
First, what's happening everybody, Jamie, Mantai, Kyle and Willie. You
know you're in the weeds on Sunday night football when
you go on social media and you see a Harry
Potter meme that is happening, which is Hermione Granger correcting
the pronunciation of it's levo saw, not levo saw, which
is a lot how a lot of people felt last
night when Chris Collinsworth continuously was saying, Marcus, Mario ta
(01:37):
ta ta ta.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Panti, can you help us out here?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Everyone in their aunt has been saying, Mariota, Mariota, Mariota
with the soft tea, with the soft tea.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
At the end. What is it?
Speaker 5 (01:48):
I've been guilty to myself. I've said Mariota in the
past as well. But it is Mario ta ta soft
tea tawa.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
It's more of like the emphastist on the thah at
the end, which Marcus said it in the NBC intro.
So now we've all stayed correct from your native brother
of Hawaii.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
So but you but you also you also admitted Jamie
that the guy's to a nicee even correct you whether
this is Mariota or Mario Ta.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
He's just gonna smile at you, be like, that's pronounced correctly.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
And that's how we felt about that game going into
overtime last night. Kyle, Right, let's check it out. What
happened Broncos commanders.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
I pronounced it?
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Jade and Daniel looks easy speaking of Witch Jaden and
bo Nick second and twelfth overall pick twenty twenty four.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
There they are a little conversation. Jada dislocated Ebo.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
But maybe on the way back Mario Ta down thirteen
to seven.
Speaker 6 (02:35):
Oh my gosh, that's.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Pronounced Trey lim Burkes name. Come on, will it?
Speaker 7 (02:40):
Let's grow man football. That's a hell of a grab.
I can't say we haven't seen it before, though I've
seen it. We've seen him many times. But we appreciated
every single question.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
You know, every time I go to the museum, I'm
running the thirteen.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
By the way, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Hodel twenty to seventeen, devil w fourth quarter, undred minutes
to play fourth and sixy Mariota zach Ertz.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
There's a name, zach Ertz. And Jake Moody who.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Was feeling such has he made this all right? Guys
love guess what that's twenty to twenty, dan Quinn says,
heck yes. Overtime, Broncos take the ball first and ten.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Oh, Nick, I want you to watch Evan Ingram. Watch
the speed this dude has. He's gonna hit. The Jets
take goal. I thought he's gonna score.
Speaker 7 (03:21):
Yeah, and Lanta my number three day with no smoke
with that, I really example.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
And overtime the defense is hired man, yeah, very tired
to take the ball, all right.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Two plays later that is R. J. Harvey.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
That name very easy to pronounce. Twenty seven to twenty.
Remember this is the new overtime. Commander gets the ball
and Mariota goes up top to.
Speaker 7 (03:39):
Depot Samuel here the floor, all right, tackle him at
the one and they can stop.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
I know, Deve, you got to score.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
The Four plays later, Commander's going forward, of course.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Overtime, fourth and goal. Gotta have it, got it?
Speaker 7 (03:53):
Terry McLaurin touchdown twenty seven to twenty six.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Willi dan Quinn said, stay out. They're going for the win.
They go for it. They don't want to hear. I
don't go play right here.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
Watch I got a guy wide open and the back
line it down in.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
The game is over, Nick Benito swats it and wait
to see how.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Open Mariot's receiver was. That's Jeremy McNichols. A walk in,
a walk in walk off.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
You almost want to see a pump fake, get around,
delivered a football touchdown.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
The Maycas win. But No, couldn't do it.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Mariota's all hard, Mariota. That's got to be a crushing loss,
and crushing and completion. The Commander's not three and nine
a one point overtime loss.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
But enough about them.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
The numbers ten and two are next to the Denver Broncos,
who never lose and in fact, afterwards had their head
coach waxing poetic about what it means to be a
special team throughout this journey.
Speaker 8 (04:44):
Go ahead, it's a great game to win. It's a
tough one to lose. Uh I just finished telling these guys.
You know, I can recall like the journey of a
good team season involves games like this. Pick a super
Bowl team and I say that respectfully, and then go
look at that season. I mean look at it honestly,
(05:05):
and I can I can go back through you know,
the six or seven playoff teams or real good teams.
You begin to build some momentum. Yeah, there's some things
you want to clean up, but just take take a
peek at any one of them. You know, every once
in a while you get one of those teams that
just rolls right through it all.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
But it's it's a tough league.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Indeed, it is, coach because there's some really fun history
developing right now in the NFL. For the first time
ever in NFL history, five divisions have a lead of.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Less than a game this late in the season. Things
are tight. It's fun to watch. You gotta watch every
single second of every game.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Two teams in the AFC has double digit wins. It's
the Broncos and the Patriots. As we look at the
AFC playoff picture. Speaking of those Broncos, Willie Cologne, they've
trailed in every single one of these games that they
have won nine straight. They have the number one overall
seed in the AFC. What stood out to you.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
On this Sunday night football over time magic?
Speaker 7 (06:05):
Well, Dinners proved situationally their leite and they're hardened for January.
I thought bow Knicks was money good man. And one
thing about bow He's clutch, and when you turn on
the tape and you watch him yesterday, he now only
stood up. He had three hundred and twenty one yards.
He had a touchdown here in an interception. But he
was he was on time, like he rallied this team
and he motivated his team offensively to the point where
(06:26):
he seemed undeniable at times. I mean just playing right here, man,
he's stuffed up in the pocket, throws ball one knee,
delivers to Sudden. It was such a crucial play and
this is both Knicks fall. I'm a guy on his
hip and he just drops a dime for a touchdown.
This is who bow Knicks has been all season long,
and this is coming. This is the start of overtime banking.
Right to Evan Ingram, Evan Inger puts on the Jets
(06:48):
and he's going for the score, but he.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Eventually gets tackled.
Speaker 7 (06:51):
But bow Knicks carries his team from an emotional standpoint
of situational standpoint and defensively, offensively they rally together. And
so when you talk about what you're gonna look like.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Going into January, you.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
Talk about Sean Payton and what he's trying to say.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Good team teams win tough games.
Speaker 7 (07:06):
They stay ploised, under fire, they deliver and they get
out the building with w's. And that's what Denver Broncos
to do it right now. And so if you're the
Broncos right now, you sit at ten or two, you're
spearhead in the AOC. You have to feel confident and
you have to close.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Out the month of December. I hear what you're saying,
and Denver just they never lose.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I feel like they have a little bit of a
dueling Spider Man thing with them in New England, like
is this the same team? They feel so similar. You
have the second year quarterbacks who are really talented, sometimes
look great, sometimes look a little shaky than they re
deem themselves. You have like the old veteran Obi Wan
Kenobi head coach who's not here for any bs, who
in one way or another has a Super Bowl ring
(07:44):
at home. And I feel like neither one of these
teams has lost since like two thousand and six. They
never ever lose, no matter what they got to the
last four games, you understand, for the Broncos, they've won
by a combined ten points, by three, by three, by three,
and now by one. So when I'm getting Now we're
getting into the money time, man time, we're getting into
like it's time to really really see what you're made of.
(08:05):
It's December.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
A couple of.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Things I want. I want a coach I can depend on.
I want to be able to win close games, and
I want a really good defense. Denver has got out
all of those things. If I'm Denver, Like I've talked
about this team a lot this year, will you understand
the early earlier Roethlisberger Steelers. Ben's second year won the
whole damn thing, and no one was telling them, Oh,
(08:28):
it's too early, it's too and no, no, no. You had
a red ass coach who wasn't here Freddy nonsense. You
had a crazy defense, and you had a second year quarterback,
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
And that team was so good that, like Ben played
poorly in the Super Bowl and they still won.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
You know what I'm saying, Like, if I were those teams,
and if I were those coaches, I would show the
Broncos and the Patriots, I would show them those early
Steelers teams, Steelers going to win the Super Bowls, the
Seahawks about we can do it now, there's no warm
up here. Screw that. I've said this a million times.
Year two is the new year five for quarterbacks.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Win.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Now are you seeing the AFC the varsity kicking in
the playoffs?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Lamar are Mahomes Rogers. I don't know if those guys
are even gonna be in very bunchie. It is very
much bune a cool.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Click of young guys, nicks and man, they're coming right in.
So if I'm the Broncos, I'm thinking win the super
Bowl this year. At some point we're gonna play in
New England because those guys are the same team.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
I can't wait see who wins. Well, yeah, they got
to win this year. And Willie said this word clutch.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Now, clutch also has like a negative connotation to it
because it means you're good late. It doesn't necessarily mean
you're good throughout all.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Yes, it doesn't mean that you're good throughout.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
And that word clutch doesn't really fit with the Broncos defense.
And I felt that they were clutched. They've been consistent,
they've been consistently dominant the Broncos defense throughout this season,
but last night they were clutch like throughout the whole
four quarters in overtime. I was a little concerned about
this defense, but they came up big in big moments
like you saw that play by Moths.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
There were a whole bunch of PBUs.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
By Alex Singleton and then Nick Benito.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
With that PBu at the ends to seal the game.
They were clutch. Now, these are the things that I'm
concerned about.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
Your two top tacklers for the Denver Broncos are both safeties.
Tolano Hufongo had thirteen tackles.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Brandon Jones had eight.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
Willy, You notice if your linebacker, if your safeties are
your leading tacklers, that's not a good thing. That's a
representative of how good the Washington Washington commanders are playing.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
And I think that the Washington commander.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Has kind of unveiled a little recipe for being very,
very productive against this defense. Number One, Marcus was throwing
the ball to guys that were covered. However he weren't.
He wasn't throwing to guys that were double covered.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
That's what I think.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
When you play the Denver Broncos defense, you're gonna have
guys that are body on body with your wide receivers.
That's just what it's going to be. What you have
to do is roll out the probabilities. If I throw
this thing single coverage to a guy that's double teabether
a safety or not, I'm going to have more I'm
going to have more success against somebody who's sing single covered.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
And we saw that last night with that Burk's catch.
He was single covered.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
All of that stuff that helped the run game. So
when I look at this, yes, the defense was clutch.
That was totally different than what I've been able to
see for this Bronco's defense that has been consistently dominant,
and that was something that I thought they showed last
night on tape.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Mant.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I know you're good at TV, but I also think
you'd be a good football coach because the way you're
describing this Broncos defense, you like, it was good.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Guys, it was good. You've won nine straight, but it.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Needs to be better, like you can always find something,
which is the mark of a great team. Kyle, you
mentioned what this team reminds you of is a Steelers
team in the mid and early two thousands, which are
we seeing this renaissance of a good Steelers team again,
very different quarterback, very old now same head coach, Kyle.
So how do the Bills and the Steelers do yesterday
in the AFC?
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Yeah, this Steelers team does not remind me of the
mid two thousands, not right now anyway, Let's go to
the Bills. Steelers all right in Pittsburgh. Acqusier Rodgers has
broken bones his non throwing hand.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
He's gonna play. He didn't play in Chicago, and he
got the start here against Josh Allen. Bills are currently
the seven entrying week thirteam, but they've lost for their
last seven games. Not great, and neither is this. Brandon
Eckles intercepts it. Josh China go to his old buddy
Gabe Davis. Just a play. He jumps in there and
gets it. All right. Second quarter, There's no score in
this game, so give it to Jalen Warren. He does
(12:11):
the Jalen Warren Thing's a funny celebration that he does.
I left is the second straight game with the touchdown
Tomlin fired up, got rocket and.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Rolling knock it out holders. Third quarter. Here's the play
that changed everything, honest.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
With the seven and three lead, Rogers holds it, holds
it and Botsa said boom got to put the blocks,
balls out, scooped up. Christian Benford gone really talk about it.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Yeah, this swoon the game wide open. Man. This sack
right here, he.
Speaker 7 (12:34):
Led it to a touchdown for the Bills. But it
was momentum killer right coming out of halftime. You want
to rally the game seven three up until this point
it is. It went downhill from here.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
That's a guy who's gonna be forty two this week,
maybe even tomorrow Rogers's birthday. He's worried he might have
broken his nose. He's gushing blood. That's not even to
talk about the broken bones in his hand. It's just
all over the place. James Cook, as always, is excellent.
You will not believe what the Bills did in this game.
It was talked about a lot on the broadcast. They
set it was the most rushing yards by visiting team
in Pittsburgh since O. J.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Simpson.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
I'm not even kidding. They're making us talk about juice.
That's how bad the Steelers run defense was.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
And guess what. Keon Coleman scores a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
We've talked about him a lot.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Cam was not one last day.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
We like we may need to talk about this canon
and Josh, we're like fighting all night and afterwards kinds
like he need me in the stomach.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
He said, somebody got to have heard broad Uno for real.
Maybe that's what they need.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
And here's pride on Buffalo's point. This basically ended the
game because the Steelers offense is doing nothing. It was really,
really rough, so Josh said, the most rushing touchdown of
all time. Look at Rogers, there's just under the cloak
Bill's win.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
They needed it. They actually pull away at the end.
It was not close.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
A lot of disgruntled fans in Pittsburgh will talk about
it shortly, but he doesn't even know who wants to
spike it. The game got away from twenty six to seven.
The Steelers are out five hundred. That bills at eight
and four. We're gonna go to the Pittsburgh SEP We're
gonna hear from Mike Tomlin and a very frustrated Aaron
Rodgers after losing twenty six to seven at home. Man,
we just weren't successful enough today, man to sustain any
(14:03):
type of ball control or produce enough points.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
To be functional today. And that's just the reality of it.
Solutions to turn this thing around exist.
Speaker 9 (14:12):
In your building.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
Certainly, what gives you the confidence that they do?
Speaker 10 (14:17):
Keep watching something that's not being done right from a
coaching aspect or preparation aspect.
Speaker 8 (14:22):
That's kind of bringing a guy in the wrong way.
Speaker 10 (14:31):
I know what you're trying to ask, and I'm not
going to go down that road at all. I believe
in the coaching staff. I believe in Mike Toum. That's
why I came here. And players need to take accountability,
my self included, and I will and I will continue to.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
I got to play better.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Not the uncapping of the water bottle.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
While he thinks of a way to answer that question,
there is nothing more intimidating and condescending somehow simultaneously than
Aaron Rodgers handling it that way.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Willie, you mentioned some thea during.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
The highlight which I feel like we have to tap into,
which is, well.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Someone has to have heart. What do you make of
the Steelers losing three of their last four.
Speaker 7 (15:08):
If you was to tell me Buffalo had to go
into Pittsburgh without their two starring tackles and keep Josh
Allen up right, I said, no chance in hell.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Josh Allen never hit the turf yesterday. That's what shocking.
Speaker 7 (15:19):
And what's also shocking is you watch this defense put
up a good fight for the portion of the first
half and then second half lay down. We talk about
heart and pride in Pittsburgh. It's not just something we say,
oh you do, it's something.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
You walk with. It's a mantra.
Speaker 7 (15:32):
You saw Gara has time after time make business decisions
instead of football decisions. And that's what's heartbreaking about when
you turn on the tape for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This
is a brand, this is an outfit. This is an
organization that talks like an elite football team. And in
this season they've been mediocre. And they started Week one
against the Jets where they barely escaped out of that building.
They got the w and then you go right here,
(15:53):
This play right here is simplifies it.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Right here, set it.
Speaker 7 (15:56):
Going for the tackle. We went for the punch out
can't happen. This is Josh Allen coming downhill. You got
to make a football tackle. That's called a football decision.
And you have guys making arm tackles. You got jayvib
Ramsey fighting on one toe to try to keep Josh
Allen out of the end.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Zone and he gets mowed over.
Speaker 7 (16:12):
This is the deepest that's get paid a lot of
money to be elite, and they haven't been though thus far,
this Bills team had sixteen rushing first downs and they
ran for two hundred and forty nine yards. In Pittsburgh,
you're looking at Aaron Rodgers can't take snaps on the
center because he has a cast on his hands, So
that strengths the playbook, and you dere a Nemick with
(16:33):
the receivement in their tight ends. They can't do anything
him in this offense seem like they've been out of.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Saint for the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
And so when you put it all together, be quite
frank with you, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Who the Pittsburgh Steelers are. I don't know what they
do well and what they can't do well.
Speaker 7 (16:46):
What I do see is a team that's simply trying
to thrive. He's trying to thrive, but they're simply surviving.
And so if frustrating. As a former stealer, a guy
who has a super Bowl with the great organization high
lo have of pride and a lot of passion, and
I love that organization like a family. But this last
couple of weeks has been hard to watch because I
know for Mike Toma is not coaching.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
It, and I know that's not what we represent.
Speaker 7 (17:07):
And you saw time after time guys on that film
lay down.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
And that's not to steal away, but Willie, you talked
about the Steelers and you don't know what they're good
at and what they're not good at the thing about
the Buffalo Bills is we know what they're really good at,
but we also know what they're not good at. And
I think Joe Brady in the offense understood that what
we do really good is run this football, and that's exactly.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
What they did.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
What I really really liked is you see these type
of plays right here where you see James Cook bounce
it to the outside. You when you run the football,
you can't block everybody.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
But the Buffalo Bills made a business decision. They said,
if I'm gonna have anybody tied to tackle.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
My running backs, it's going to be these corners. It's
gonna be the DB's. We're gonna block everybody up from
We're gonna block an entire d line, the linebackers, and
we're gonna force these dvs to make plays on our
running backs every single almost all night long, and we're
gonna we're gonna bet that these guys can get the
job done. James Cook had one hundred and forty four
yards rushing. Ray Davis came and had nine carriers for
sixty two yards. He basically averaged seven yards of carry.
(18:00):
That's Joe Brady saying, hey, listen, we don't know what's
going on with our passing game yet.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
We don't have a root. Josh Allen doesn't have a.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
Favorite target, but he doesn't have a favorite player that
he likes to give the ball to, and it's his
running backs. And they've been carrying this team for the
entire season. And they definitely came out last night over
there at an away game with the Steelers and provided
some spark for them as well.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
KB Ye, there's some angry fan bases right now out there.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
Oh yeah, take a quick account.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Like you have the Chiefs five hundred, but they just
count their trophies and they have so much success. You
have the Eagles who are really upset right now after
what happened, but they've had a lot of success too.
I think the most upset fan base right on in
the NFL is Steelers. And you know why I know this,
Not only will you you understands, not only were they
booing a lot of teams boom, they started playing Renegade
(18:46):
last night at the stadium. They're song by Styx, and
they booed Renegade. Oh Mama, they didn't want to hear that.
Don't play that nonsense. When we can't do it, stop
playing it. I'm seeing many people online who covered the
Steelers for a Libyan who say, I have never heard
Renegade the song. The guys from Sticks whoever are still around,
(19:07):
fell up their chairs getting booed.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
And I found myself in.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
This game just just watching Rogers, and my god, they
put him on camera a lot, and I watched him
on the He's got a damn cast. He's about to
turn forty two. His nose is maybe broken, it's bleeding.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
He looks miserable. The beard has never looked gray.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Or he's taking hits from meatheads like Bosa like this,
And I've seen some suggestion in line about you know what, dude,
you got apparently a big old house in Malibu. You
got a big old mountain of cash at home. You're
gonna go on the Hall of Fame five years after
you retire.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Like, what are you doing here?
Speaker 1 (19:41):
And to that, I say, I think Rogers lives for this.
I'm going to flip on that completely. He knew what
was going to, what time it was. He's played in
a million cold weather games where he gets his ass
kicked and the team maybe is not playing that way.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
He's booed in Green Bay before. It's true.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
And I'm also gonna flip it right now on Monday morning,
right now, after one of the worst most listless Steelers
losses you'll see in this generation. I think they're gonna
win next week at Baltimore. I do because this is
how the Steelers work.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
I love it, Kyles, how Mike ros.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
You get to six and six all is lost. It's
post apocalyptic. Everything that fired this person, cut this person,
and like that, they find a way to win and
the gravity kicks in. This is right where the Mike
Tomlin Steelers live. When it seems like all hope is lost.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Oh what do you know?
Speaker 1 (20:26):
They win two out of their next three and things
are going. I think that they're going to win at
Baltimore next week because I've seen this before.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Maybe not this dismal Rogers.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Will play the defensive line out of nowhere is going
to be all over Lamar.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
This is how it works when all hope is lost.
Guess what happens next? Good things.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
I think they'll win at Baltimore next week. I don't
appolog this for it.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
I'm bat Kyle's message because this is a rivalry game.
You talk about both teams right now who are living
in murky water, and so one of them has to
come out of it. And you talk about both quarterbacks
have banged up and they're really trying to figure out
how to get carried his team. But it's one thing,
one thing I do know, Mike Tomma will find a way.
He always has and he always wills. And I know
a lot of people are saying, hey, he was booed.
(21:05):
They want to fire at Mike Tomlin. This is the
time when Mike Tomlin goes into his bag and he
gets crafty.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
So I believe Kyle. I support Kyle's message. And I'm
not just saying it because I'm a forbest dealer, because
I'm a believer. Something has to change.
Speaker 7 (21:17):
But you start booing this man, he says, Okay, I
got something for you, and I want to see Mike
Tomlin delivered. I know there's a lot of guys in
that locker room that will deliver. It's just a matter
of good getting done and putting you on.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
I tell you Tomin's gonna say something. Watch in his
next press company. He didn't have some quote. We're gonna
be like, we need zippers, not buttons. Zippers work together,
and the zippers have teeth. We are not a team
of buttons. We are a team of zippers. And they'll
come out and be like, all right, it works it
and then they'll play like zippers the next week.
Speaker 4 (21:42):
It'll happen. Watch frand.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Look at it.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
This is what the Ravens are looking at though. That's
a poster child for what is going on with that quarterback.
It was a long day at the office for Rogers
and the Steelers.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Look at it.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
That's to Kyle's boyn.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
That looks terrible.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Now we gotta check in on a pumpkin pie.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I'm about a nice little Christmas tree right over him.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
No, that is Roger down and out. He's got the risk,
he's got the face rap sheet.
Speaker 11 (22:08):
Where do you start on this man, Well, you start
with the risk, because this is one that really is
going to get better as you go on through the weeks.
The worst we are going to see him health wise
was going to be yesterday. Couldn't take a snap under center,
clearly bothered him at a pretty bulky race to make
sure that those fractures in his wrist did not displace.
Speaker 12 (22:25):
It seems like he came out of this relatively unscathed.
Speaker 11 (22:28):
And the reason why I say the displacement is displacement
is the big thing, because if that happens, then he
has to have surgery and miss more games.
Speaker 12 (22:35):
He has at least three fractures.
Speaker 11 (22:37):
In his left hand, non displace, seems to be able
to go, seems to get stronger as we go on,
so I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to
take snaps from center next week. Meanwhile, for that nose
being all bloodied and battered, theoretically that would get better.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Though.
Speaker 11 (22:51):
It does really lead to the toughness factor for Rogers,
who was fighting through it and fighting through some accountability
issues with his receiver.
Speaker 12 (22:58):
Group two with the addressed that this week as well.
Speaker 11 (23:01):
Another quarterback with an injured left hand, Herbert Minerstanding is
he had a meta carpal fracture in his left hand.
You see him there, get hit hard, he comes back.
Speaker 12 (23:12):
Miss some time, comes back with a glove.
Speaker 11 (23:14):
So did play through the injury, did play through the
broken bone in his hand.
Speaker 12 (23:18):
He's going to have surgery.
Speaker 11 (23:19):
They played Monday, so he's got an extra day minerstanding is.
The plan is for Justin Herbert to play on Monday
after surgery on his hand, and then good news finally
for the quarterback position for tonight. Jackson Dart, the Giant
starting quarterback, missed the last couple of games of the concussion.
He has eventually cleared the NFL's concussion protocol.
Speaker 12 (23:39):
A couple of games of Jamis Winston.
Speaker 11 (23:40):
There was some highs, There was some Jamis moments.
Speaker 12 (23:43):
Getting Jackson Dart back.
Speaker 11 (23:44):
Tonight for the Giants who shore but love to have
a win for interim coach Mike.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Kaptack, I bet that too, Rep Sheet as well, Thanks
so much.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
We'll talk to you in a little bit.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Actually, I think next block because we still have more
questions about some guys.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
That played yesterday. Still to come.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
The best of the best from Sunday. Listen, Kyle, I
know wig you out, so when I tell you.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I texted one of our producers. I didn't call him.
He didn't answer the phone or anything. I just texted him, Wow,
these catches have gone crazy today, and he said all
of them.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
It was just a.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Text back and forth amongst coworkers. Don't worry, my friend.
I did not call a person.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
I know that was strussed.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
You out. You didn't call you FaceTime, Jim. You know
it's given more call.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Plus, the Colts have come back to earth. I hate
that I'm saying this. I want them to keep winning.
But the Texans are getting hot. The AFC South is
getting I'm telling you, Anti South is sexy right now.
We're gonna talking it right, It's all cool.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
I'm into it. We are getting everything into the show today.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Your team, your favorite team, your least favorite team, we
will talk about them.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
We will show the highlight. Promise good morning football on Monday.
Let's go good mon football. All right, here we go.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
AMC South is sexy as hell right now. We're gonna
be talking a lot of this division.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
We don't often say that.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
When's the last time the AMC South was sexyt Tom
call from the Jaguars cooking. It's been a while all right,
Daniel Jones is out there hovel all right, Sauce Gardner
would leave with a calf injury. We thought it might
be something terrible, but maybe not. Oh all right, Stroud.
Haven't seen Stroud in a while. It's great to see him.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Not like this. So intercepted by Cam buying them. Here
we go.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
We're dancing good ensuing Colts drive Daniel Jones, Alec.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Pierce is excellent, Slew excellent, excellent. Colts missed the pat.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
After this, so it's six to three. It's not a
great game right now, but it's gonna heat up. I
promise you, I absolutely promise you. Pierce that four catches, seventy.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Eight yard, six to three. Stroud to Nick Chubb. I
love Nick, good old Chubb, who doesn't look at him.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
He actually has gloves on, which is considered like heavy
swag for Nick Chubb. Normally he was absolutely nothing. Next
Texas possessions. All right, they're down now, thirteen to six.
Actually the Texans are up, and look at our guys.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
That mister Warren. That's Tyler Warren. Twelve yard touchdown.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
He finished only three catches twenty in a CD, but
he got the drop down fourth quarter thirteen thirteen.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
We got a game first and goal ce Jay duns Nic.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
It's a cool play with the blocking out front, get
out the way.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
It has never scored up Russian touchdown before. That was
his first one of his career. Stroud did not throw.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
A touchdout but throw for turnam in seventy six yards
later in the fourth quarter, Coach down four on a
third and nine o drop by Josh Downs.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Now we got a fourth and nine.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Obviously you're going for it under two to play, Daniel Jones, what.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
Do you got?
Speaker 1 (26:34):
You're going after a pressure Pittman, Oh dame. The Texans
walk into Indianapolis and walk out with the wins.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
They started the season really rocky, but they got him back.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
They have a crazy defense and a coach that they
believe in, and you better believe. Afterwards, our guy who
we believe in, Tom Pelso, was there with Nico talking
about going into Indianapolis, getting booed by the Colts fans
and walking out with the whip.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Nico. I can't think this ever gets old. You hear
the fans booing at the end of the game. They're mad.
The Texans came in here and got to win. I
think was this for your team? Major? It was a
big win. Man.
Speaker 6 (27:09):
We know the visit team and the Coats one hell
of a team.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
Man.
Speaker 6 (27:12):
They praying great and we know on a row we
had to come and bring it.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Man.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
So Man, probably this team, I'm glad we fall all
four quarters. Man, it's not easy team to beat, man,
but I'm glad we.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Got to do it. First time CJ. Stroud had played
in a month. How do you look to you and
what kind of a jolt did that give your team?
Man's glad. I'm glad.
Speaker 6 (27:25):
I'm a dog bat man. You know you only get
one brain.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Man.
Speaker 6 (27:27):
We got to take care of that, you know.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
But I'm glad you held.
Speaker 6 (27:29):
I'm glad you bet you know doing what he loved
and I'm glad we got to win.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Well, Sidney, go, well done. Good to see c J.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Stroud back AFC South. Would you look at what's happening
now the Colts? What's gonna go down on the stretch?
What about the Texans? We need to know more about
this Colts defense though, And with that, Ian Rappaport get
back in here, please, rap sheet. We saw Sauce Gardner
with the boot on in the second half of that game.
What's the latest with the new Colts in town?
Speaker 11 (27:54):
Yeah, certainly a big injury to watch for the Indianapolis Colt.
Sauce Gardener, who they traded two first round picks for
just a couple of weeks ago to help ignite their defense,
really give them kind of the finishing piece, suffered a
calf strain. He's going to have an MRI today just
to determine how long he is out and the next
course of action. Actually, initially it looked like it was
an achilles and Sauce gardeners that it felt like he
(28:16):
got shot in the back of the leg, which is
generally what players have Achilles tears describe it feeling like.
Speaker 12 (28:22):
But it is not that, so that is good. It
is not a catastrophic injury.
Speaker 11 (28:26):
Do expect him to miss some time, though cashtrains can
be tricky injuries. You want a player to be one
hundred percent when he returns, so expect sauce Gardner to
miss some time. Which for this Colts defense, which needs everyone,
that is a tough one.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
They need everybody. It's not like they're running away with
this thing.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
The Texans made it interesting rep sheet and they have
over the last month. They've won four straight games with
any season for the first time since twenty eighteen, while
the Colts have now.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Lost back to back games.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Takeaways from this game, Willy, as you watch that highlight,
you watched it unfold yesterday and you know what this
quarterback was dealing with.
Speaker 7 (29:00):
Yeah, to take away as a Texas defense, they won
a down distance fight. I mean they held Indian for
three of ten on third down and they had two
fourth downstots, which was big. But a lot of us
talked about those edge rushers, but in Terry dey Laon
led by Sheldon Rickings, they could dish that pocket and
they was able to get after. Daie Jones was good
about this too. If you're the Texas, you had to
be proud that you really put the You kept Jonathan
(29:20):
Taylor on.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
NEUTU, you held them down.
Speaker 7 (29:22):
He only had eighty six rushing yards on twenty three
carries and no touchdowns. You got understand this Colts offense
thrives off Johnson Taylor and what he's able to do
in between the tackles, and it's just supposed to plays.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
They will put.
Speaker 7 (29:32):
They were able to put all that on ice, so
you talk about what you need this time of year.
If you're the Texas, you need a defense and you
need a quarterback to be money good. And they have
it right now with the head coach who's really hot.
So I like the Texas. I like what they're doing
on defense. But they got to continue. They got to
continue to fight. Man, it's not over.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
Really.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
You're talking about the Colts and their dependency on Jonathan Taylor,
and let's I think I don't think we can talk
enough about how Daniel Jones injury has kind of shaped
this whole rushing offense that is the Colts. Like, from
a defender, if I am playing somebody like the Colts, right,
and I know that your quarterback can scramble, now, that
puts you very one dimensional to me, right, if I
know that we're in shotgun and look at this one
(30:10):
through ten, the forty rushing attempts compared to what he
has now the past two weeks, right that eighty six
yards rushing this week last week against the Chief said
seventy four. Those aren't This is a team that's averaging
one hundred and forty yards rush yards per game. That's
like less than half of the offensive production from the
rush from the running game.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
Put me on the camera. I want to show you
an example. Put me on a camera, put me on
a jip, put them on camera. If I'm in, if
I'm in, if.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
I'm in shotgun right, and I am Daniel Jones and
I have this ball right and Jamie and Jonathan Taylor,
and I can put me on a jack. In order
for Jamie to get this ball, she has to come
to me right, she has to come my direction.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
If I'm a defender, I.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
Know that Daniel Jones ain't keeping the ball, so she
has to go to my left. I can structure my
defense to make sure that no matter where you go,
if it's to the left.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I'm going to make a stop. Now that Daniel Jones
doesn't pull the ball. It doesn't It doesn't.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
Provide the options for this rush offense that we've but
that we've been seeing, the number one rush offense or
whatever the beckam on single note.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
That is what I think that when you when you
put that Texans.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
Defense against an offense like that, you're gonna get that result.
You're not going to be able to run the ball
like John Tan Taylor has been able to do simply
because Daniel Jones KB can't run the football.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Listen, Colts are fascinating and we've always known that we're
gonna be fascinating down the stretch.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
Good, bad or otherwise.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Let's talk about the Texans, because the Texans just held
the Coast of sixteen points a week after they held
the Buffalo Bills to nineteen points. The Texas defense is
probably the strongest group in the AFC.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
What's better?
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Are you gonna say the Bills offense with Josh Allen?
I don't know if you can say the Bengals offense. They're
not as relevant as the Texans. Nobody wants to play
this defense. Nobody wants to try to pass against this defense.
It's a playoff defense and a playoff pass rush.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
Remember, guys, there's an zero to three team, there's a
three and five team. They are now four in a row.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
And the best part of all is if you think
they're not getting enough credit or exposure, I will direct
your eyes to this Sunday night when the Houston Texans
go to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday Night, not only going
against the rainy and AFC champions, No, no, no, no, no,
this is to put a steak into the Chiefs and
say bye bye. You can sit your starters because you
(32:20):
are done. You are not making the playoffs. That is
a massive opportunity for the Texas. Nobody does that's the
chief Nobody does that to Mahomes. But if they go
into Arrowhead and hold the Chiefs under twenty points and win,
the Chiefs are done. We will not talk about anymore
by that out and the Texans are the ones that
shovel the dirt on them. So, Houston, you're having a month,
(32:40):
go have a week. It's an incredible time we're in
right now. Where not in the last week of the season,
even in week fourteen, the Houston Texans can eulogize the
Kansas City Chiefs. It's a nuts nuts thing to say
out loud, but it's Houston's that good that.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
They can do it.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
It's gonna be a great game. I look forward to
that one.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Let's leave the directing and technical directing to just this
B block, because what is the equivalent.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Of like spitting in your food? If you're a server, It's.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
Like they'll never put us on camera again, So like,
let's just stop it. We're good, Okay, they put it nobody. No, no,
they're not gonna tell us what We're not going to
tell them what to do anymore.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
You guys are all professionals. It's great, all right.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
So the Titans are hosting a divisional opponent in the
Jacksonville Jaguars. Right now, the Titans are in line or
at the bottom of the line or the bottom of
the pile. Would have you for the number one pick
in the draft for back to back years. However, Trevor
Lawrence would say, yeah, let's keep you down there, Titans,
because Jack's looked good. The jack took seven to three
lead early second quarter. Now Trevor Lawrence lots of time
in the pocket, zips one into Brenton Strange for a
(33:38):
twenty one yard TD number eighty five. There they would
also convert on a two point try to make it
fifteen to three.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Nice round number.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Ensuing Titans drive, cam Ward dropped back, sacked, take it
down by Austin Johnson.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Ward actually loses the football, it is recovered. However, on
the next play, Will.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
Would be taken down again, and this time by Josh
heinz Allen. So Word has been sacked a league high
forty five times entering this game, and it would be
forty eight on the season. Now, just a brutal day
bore the old line for the Titans for cam Ward,
who is just getting a really, really challenging rookie season
under his belt.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Jacks win this one at twenty five to three.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
They would move into first place via a tiebreaker in
the AFC South and they host the Colts next week.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
Kyle, they do, Jamie and we will be watching in
the meantime. Justin Herbart beautiful uniforms as always, but this
is not great, not what you want to see. Goes down,
looks like he's a little banged up, and he is rap.
She was talking about this earlier, his non throwing hand.
(34:45):
We will have an update shortly. Don't go anywhere and
guess what, Trey Lance. We love you, Trey Lance. One
of the great mysteries in the NFL. The Niners traded
away everything to get Trey Lance. It should have cost them.
They're still great. In the meantime, Herbert is back, thankfully
across his body got it. As Lad mcconki touched down.
Chargers would win thirty one to fourteen. They're undefeated against
(35:07):
the AFC West.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
They're eight and four. Those two old guys, what's your deal?
What you're dealing now?
Speaker 1 (35:12):
None of that anymore. Don't worry, leave it all behind.
Thirty one to fourteen. We thought this, Jim Harbaugh Pete
Caroley was going to be fun in the West.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
It's not fun at all because the Raiders are terrible.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
Afterwards, we heard from Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh, as
I just said, and his quarterback Justin Herbert, this.
Speaker 13 (35:27):
Was a great team win, and our fates are intertwined
and we're you know, the focus, focus is there from
our team, and ya just gonna have to do it
again next week and a week after that.
Speaker 6 (35:41):
Yeah, I'm treating it as if I'm playing on Monday.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
I think they're very hopeful for that.
Speaker 6 (35:45):
So I think that's just something that we'll see tomorrow
and we'll get a feel for.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
But I think they were really hopeful. So that's always
a good thing.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
That is good for the Chargers down the stretch.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
The quarterback himself, after that suffer that hand injury, thinks
he'll go against the Eagles a week from now.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Good to see for the Chargers.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Good to see Sherry Burris this morning, one of those
teams in the AFC we'll see represent themselves in the
Bay Area at.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
Super Bowl sixty.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
What else do we know we're gonna see Sherry Well.
Speaker 14 (36:10):
We are counting those days to Super Bowl sixty, nine
days away. Jamie and Big News, the NFL and Rock
Nation announcing an award winning lineup for Super Bowl sixty.
Pregame Charlie Pooth, Brandy Carlisle, and Coco Jones will set
the stage for Super Bowl sixty in Santa Clara, California.
Circle the date on your calendar Sunday, February eighth. Multi
(36:31):
Award winning Grammy nominated singer and songwriter Charlie Pooth will
perform the national anthem. We certainly cannot wait to be
there in Santa Clarak. If we're talking about this logo,
we cannot wait. And coming up here the Panther has
got a big time win yesterday against the Rams and
have a trivia question for you guys coming up put
your thinking caps on, stick around here, want you to answer.
Speaker 9 (36:52):
Also Kid four Big Time Wins presented by Royal Caribbean.
Speaker 15 (37:09):
The Effort, Shotgut Snap for Man Rush We're Pretto pressure
You Stop the Ball by Carolina dj Wattam what covers
the fuble takes it to mid veil for Yuh, there's
a strike over the fiddle to jalab Coker first got
the Rams cannot stop the clock anymore with these overcast guys. Uh,
(37:31):
there is a silver tear hanging on the horizon and
some sunlight somewhere because the Panthers are sending a shockwave
through the NFL.
Speaker 14 (37:43):
Well, with the Jets win over the Falcons yesterday, Tarrod
Taylor earned the victory and the Jets are now the
sixth franchise he has started for and then one. Well,
looking back since the year two thousand, there has only
been one quarterback that has started and won a game
for seven different teams. Are going to go around the
horn a little Monday.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
Morning trivia five? Are you are choices?
Speaker 14 (38:05):
A Ryan Fitzpatrick, B. Jeff Garcia, C. Josh McCown or
D C. Fur Line two thousand sounds like this is
very much in Kyle's wheelhouse, So we're gonna give them
time to thank you New York.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
Okay, So if you're taking us all the way back
to two thousand, I don't think Fitz was playing that early,
but I know McCown was, and my brain, without seeing
the multiple choice, did go to Josh mccownt.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
So I'm gonna go with Josh Miccowenn.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
Oh, you're going to go to Josh viaccount. See my
brain went to Fits.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
But the qualifier being two thousand makes a difference.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
It's okay to have a difference. So I'm gonna stick
with my gut.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
Okay, I'm just going to go at FITZI I got
fits at fitz MAINA what you.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Got KB, Yeah, I mean Fitzpatrick. People ask me sometimes
because we played in the same conference, that I play
against Ryan Fitzpatrick in college, and answer is no, he
was after me, so I think he entered the league
right around two thousand and two thousand and one. Garcia,
I don't think at the seven teams Berlin either McCown
is like a five or six.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
I think it's Fitzpatrick. Willey. Did you disagree with me?
You might for some reason.
Speaker 7 (39:02):
I'm going Jeff Garcia.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
I mean he won Lady was with like Detroit and Cleveland,
like Cherry taken away.
Speaker 14 (39:09):
Well, Kyle, dang it, Yeah, you guys, it's it's Ryan
fitz Back.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
All of these different uniforms he has started and once.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
It's kind of like a bag of skittles.
Speaker 14 (39:21):
There's orange there, wlo, there's green.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
There's probably more jerseys there than there are flavors in
the skittle book.
Speaker 4 (39:29):
Imagine the man cave.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Oh's just his jerseys alone.
Speaker 14 (39:34):
Yeah, you don't need Yeah, great job, Manti.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
Re whine that week thirteen, Gosh, we played so much football.
You could take a player a game from earlier this season.
But WILLI you gotta go from over this current weekend
that we just watch.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
What's the play that you need to see again?
Speaker 7 (39:49):
Yeah, it's coming out of the Broncos and Commander's Commander's tray,
long burks.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
He goes up in the sky.
Speaker 7 (39:54):
He snagged one one hand grabbed where in the thirteen
back of the hand.
Speaker 4 (39:58):
Give me mama made it case. I mean, this was
big time.
Speaker 7 (40:02):
I jumped off the bed, both the kids, both his
draft bang give it to me, big top touchdowns.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
Trey long Burns somehow not the only one handed the snag.
We're gonna see and remind that isn't it. But let
me take you to the trivia question. Actually, Sherry just
mentioned trot Taylor has been everywhere.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
He's won a lot of different places.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
He's actually the six QB to win games and six
or more teams. He's joining guys like Kate Keenum, Joe Flacco, fits.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Josh McCown.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
You know how veteran you have to be to watch
a game winning kick go through and look like that.
Watched Garrod Taylor's eyes on the rewind that and bang
got it and jacket off called it. Watch his eyes
lock in, lock in, Look how cool he looks.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Yeah, we got it, go say it. Didn't want to
wear the jacket anymore.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Flips it off, cools a cucumber, toron Taylor, everybody, it's
a good look for him.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Mansion.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
That was probably the same reaction Pooka had when we
caught that ball that I'm about to go to.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
Yeah, my rewind that moment. My reaction was totally different.
Speaker 5 (40:58):
I was totally empatty when I watched pook in the
Quoll catches one hand and passed. Now, Willie did talk
about his week thirteen might be the week of the
one handed catches.
Speaker 4 (41:07):
Watch this puking, no cool catch, guys, there's there's levels.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
Okay, this is an overhand not this is this is
an overhand one handed catch with with the dB.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
All over us.
Speaker 5 (41:19):
OK, this is just different in the rain with the gloves.
I don't need anything but my glove, my one hand
overhand catch It's it was. I texted Bill immediately because
I knew everybody was going to be rushing last night
to get this. I said, give me that for my rewinded.
That's how impressed I was with it right on your
So keep doing your thing, Kab.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
You took my other one too, so you've don that
all day today.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
Go ahead, Kyle.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Hey, Rams caught that L too with one hand. You
know what I'm saying. This is a weird time right
now in the NFL. I congratulations to the Panthers. Uh
you know who catches a lot of l's. I'm sorry
the Raiders. But it's like, hey, they got back crossed
me and brock powers. Give me the brock Powers catch.
Why the hell not we're trying to pick up the
raiders because if everyone's doing one handed catches.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
I'm doing it too.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Gho power leaning back on that's not a we I
want to remind you. That is a tight end with
the back shoulder turned into back hand.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
You're not supposed to catch that.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Stick without knowing. I'm going to guess Brock Powers is
a right handed guy.
Speaker 4 (42:14):
He catches with his left.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
It's just an awesome, awesome play at the end of
a very disappointing season building block Rock Flowers, we love them,
we love to watch them, and I'm going to put
the Raiders in here anyway, I can't because I respect him.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
Even another two and ten, aren't.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
You supposed to do this thing where like to make
sure your brain stays sharp all your life is supposed
to like brush your teeth your opposite hand.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
That's like Rock Owers being like, I'm.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
Going to catch this with my opposite hand to make
sure I stay sharp and with it. Even Andrew Catalan
was like, oh darny dropped, Oh I got.
Speaker 4 (42:41):
I got it?
Speaker 3 (42:42):
Yeah right boarding with the maniacal left never brushed my
teeth on my left hand.
