You know, I can recall like the journey of a
good team season involves games like this. Pick a super
Bowl team and I say that respectfully, and then go
look at that season. I mean look at it honestly,

the six or seven playoff teams or real good teams.
You begin to build some momentum. Yeah, there's some things
you want to clean up, but just take take a
peek at any one of them. You know, every once
in a while you get one of those teams that

developing right now in the NFL. For the first time
ever in NFL history, five divisions have a lead of.

the Broncos and the Patriots. As we look at the

trailed in every single one of these games that they
have won nine straight. They have the number one overall
seed in the AFC. What stood out to you.

On this Sunday night football over time magic?

Well, Dinners proved situationally their leite and they're hardened for January.
I thought bow Knicks was money good man. And one
thing about bow He's clutch, and when you turn on
the tape and you watch him yesterday, he now only

to do it right now. And so if you're the
Broncos right now, you sit at ten or two, you're
spearhead in the AOC. You have to feel confident and
you have to close.

Out the month of December. I hear what you're saying,
and Denver just they never lose.

I feel like they have a little bit of a
dueling Spider Man thing with them in New England, like
is this the same team? They feel so similar. You
have the second year quarterbacks who are really talented, sometimes
look great, sometimes look a little shaky than they re
deem themselves. You have like the old veteran Obi Wan
Kenobi head coach who's not here for any bs, who
in one way or another has a Super Bowl ring

at home. And I feel like neither one of these
teams has lost since like two thousand and six. They
never ever lose, no matter what they got to the
last four games, you understand, for the Broncos, they've won
by a combined ten points, by three, by three, by three,
and now by one. So when I'm getting Now we're
getting into the money time, man time, we're getting into
like it's time to really really see what you're made of.

Things I want. I want a coach I can depend on.
I want to be able to win close games, and
I want a really good defense. Denver has got out
all of those things. If I'm Denver, Like I've talked
about this team a lot this year, will you understand

and if I were those coaches, I would show the
Broncos and the Patriots, I would show them those early

Year two is the new year five for quarterbacks.

Now are you seeing the AFC the varsity kicking in
the playoffs?

are even gonna be in very bunchie. It is very

So if I'm the Broncos, I'm thinking win the super
Bowl this year. At some point we're gonna play in
New England because those guys are the same team.

I can't wait see who wins. Well, yeah, they got
to win this year. And Willie said this word clutch.

Now, clutch also has like a negative connotation to it
because it means you're good late. It doesn't necessarily mean
you're good throughout all.

Yes, it doesn't mean that you're good throughout.

And that word clutch doesn't really fit with the Broncos defense.
And I felt that they were clutched. They've been consistent,
they've been consistently dominant the Broncos defense throughout this season,
but last night they were clutch like throughout the whole
four quarters in overtime. I was a little concerned about
this defense, but they came up big in big moments
like you saw that play by Moths.

There were a whole bunch of PBUs.

They were clutch. Now, these are the things that I'm
concerned about.

Your two top tacklers for the Denver Broncos are both safeties.
Tolano Hufongo had thirteen tackles.

Brandon Jones had eight.

Willy, You notice if your linebacker, if your safeties are
your leading tacklers, that's not a good thing. That's a
representative of how good the Washington Washington commanders are playing.

And I think that the Washington commander.

Has kind of unveiled a little recipe for being very,
very productive against this defense. Number One, Marcus was throwing
the ball to guys that were covered. However he weren't.
He wasn't throwing to guys that were double covered.

That's what I think.

When you play the Denver Broncos defense, you're gonna have
guys that are body on body with your wide receivers.
That's just what it's going to be. What you have
to do is roll out the probabilities. If I throw
this thing single coverage to a guy that's double teabether
a safety or not, I'm going to have more I'm
going to have more success against somebody who's sing single covered.

And we saw that last night with that Burk's catch.
He was single covered.

All of that stuff that helped the run game. So
when I look at this, yes, the defense was clutch.
That was totally different than what I've been able to
see for this Bronco's defense that has been consistently dominant,
and that was something that I thought they showed last
night on tape.

I know you're good at TV, but I also think
you'd be a good football coach because the way you're
describing this Broncos defense, you like, it was good.

Guys, it was good. You've won nine straight, but it.

Needs to be better, like you can always find something,
which is the mark of a great team. Kyle, you
mentioned what this team reminds you of is a Steelers
team in the mid and early two thousands, which are
we seeing this renaissance of a good Steelers team again,
very different quarterback, very old now same head coach, Kyle.
So how do the Bills and the Steelers do yesterday
in the AFC?

Yeah, this Steelers team does not remind me of the
mid two thousands, not right now anyway, Let's go to
the Bills. Steelers all right in Pittsburgh. Acqusier Rodgers has
broken bones his non throwing hand.

He's gonna play. He didn't play in Chicago, and he
got the start here against Josh Allen. Bills are currently
the seven entrying week thirteam, but they've lost for their

That's how bad the Steelers run defense was.

gonna hear from Mike Tomlin and a very frustrated Aaron
Rodgers after losing twenty six to seven at home. Man,
we just weren't successful enough today, man to sustain any

type of ball control or produce enough points.

To be functional today. And that's just the reality of it.
Solutions to turn this thing around exist.

While he thinks of a way to answer that question,

Josh Allen never hit the turf yesterday. That's what shocking.

And what's also shocking is you watch this defense put
up a good fight for the portion of the first
half and then second half lay down. We talk about
heart and pride in Pittsburgh. It's not just something we say,
oh you do, it's something.

You walk with. It's a mantra.

You saw Gara has time after time make business decisions
instead of football decisions. And that's what's heartbreaking about when
you turn on the tape for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This
is a brand, this is an outfit. This is an
organization that talks like an elite football team. And in
this season they've been mediocre. And they started Week one
against the Jets where they barely escaped out of that building.
They got the w and then you go right here,

money to be elite, and they haven't been though thus far,

you're looking at Aaron Rodgers can't take snaps on the
center because he has a cast on his hands, So
that strengths the playbook, and you dere a Nemick with

the receivement in their tight ends. They can't do anything
him in this offense seem like they've been out of.

And so when you put it all together, be quite

Who the Pittsburgh Steelers are. I don't know what they
do well and what they can't do well.

What I do see is a team that's simply trying
to thrive. He's trying to thrive, but they're simply surviving.
And so if frustrating. As a former stealer, a guy
who has a super Bowl with the great organization high
lo have of pride and a lot of passion, and
I love that organization like a family. But this last
couple of weeks has been hard to watch because I
know for Mike Toma is not coaching.

And you saw time after time guys on that film
lay down.

And that's not to steal away, but Willie, you talked
about the Steelers and you don't know what they're good

the Buffalo Bills is we know what they're really good at,
but we also know what they're not good at. And
I think Joe Brady in the offense understood that what
we do really good is run this football, and that's exactly.

of plays right here where you see James Cook bounce
it to the outside. You when you run the football,
you can't block everybody.

My running backs, it's going to be these corners. It's
gonna be the DB's. We're gonna block everybody up from
We're gonna block an entire d line, the linebackers, and
we're gonna force these dvs to make plays on our
running backs every single almost all night long, and we're
gonna we're gonna bet that these guys can get the
job done. James Cook had one hundred and forty four
yards rushing. Ray Davis came and had nine carriers for
sixty two yards. He basically averaged seven yards of carry.

Yeah, certainly a big injury to watch for the Indianapolis Colt.
Sauce Gardener, who they traded two first round picks for
just a couple of weeks ago to help ignite their defense,
really give them kind of the finishing piece, suffered a
calf strain. He's going to have an MRI today just
to determine how long he is out and the next
course of action. Actually, initially it looked like it was
an achilles and Sauce gardeners that it felt like he

got shot in the back of the leg, which is
generally what players have Achilles tears describe it feeling like.

But it is not that, so that is good. It
is not a catastrophic injury.

Do expect him to miss some time, though cashtrains can
be tricky injuries. You want a player to be one
hundred percent when he returns, so expect sauce Gardner to

that is a tough one.

this defense, but they came up big in big moments

your leading tacklers, that's not a good thing. That's a
representative of how good the Washington Washington commanders are playing.

Has kind of unveiled a little recipe for being very,
very productive against this defense. Number One, Marcus was throwing
the ball to guys that were covered. However he weren't.

When you play the Denver Broncos defense, you're gonna have
guys that are body on body with your wide receivers.

going to have more success against somebody who's sing single covered.

when I look at this, yes, the defense was clutch.

Sauce Gardener, who they traded two first round picks for

really give them kind of the finishing piece, suffered a
calf strain. He's going to have an MRI today just
to determine how long he is out and the next
course of action. Actually, initially it looked like it was
an achilles and Sauce gardeners that it felt like he

generally what players have Achilles tears describe it feeling like.
