Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Good Morning Football. Everybody, what's having Monday, August eleventh feels
more comfortable now we have one weekend of the preseason
under our belts Jamie or Almanti Tale and our buddy former
RAMS Super Bowl champion. You hear them all the time
on the RAMS broadcast. To Marco Farr very early with.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Us, I apologize for everything I said. Oh what I'm
about to say?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
What a way to start, Kyle. One of my favorite
things about the Marco Faras he brings his reading glasses
and he hops over them at you and camera and says,
what did you just say?

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Kyle?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
What do you have in store for us?

Speaker 5 (00:42):
We don't we have in store?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Jackson Darts, cam Ward Abdul Carter, Shador Sanders and most
importantly CD Lamb getting trucked on the sideline by an official.
It's Good Morning Football on a Monday six seven.

Speaker 6 (00:56):
Let's go good.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Welcome to Good Morning Football presented by SATVA. What's happening
everybody la New York City? But really it's about everyone
that played over the weekend, which finally was every single team.
We got exposure, like sometimes just too much sun exposure,
too much whatnot? No, I just wanted football all weekend long, Kyle.
And the beautiful thing is sometimes things that happen on
Friday night it's too old. We can't talk about it anymore.

(01:36):
But the Friday night game, that's where we're starting our
Monday show.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well, listen, we if we had to wait six months
to talk about Brown's Panthers in the presets and we
would still start the show with it because of what happened,
because of the attention, and because of a certain fifth
round draft pick. Guys, should we go to Carolina? I
think brown it's Browns panther. You don't make the people
wait for Browns panthers. Roll the highlighte because there is

(02:03):
okay door Sanders getting the start. There is someone next
to him with a staff. And by staff, I don't
mean a group of people. I mean like a large
wooden stick like gandalf. I don't know what's up with that,
but I know we had Browns fans in the stadium.
First quarter, Shador evades the rush, Scramble shows, locility, slide shows,
intelligence shows, everything does a little celebration. Don't know what

(02:25):
that is but probably cool seven nothing Panthers. If you
care what you don't touchdown Cayden Davis, this one really
threaded the needles. Yes, Lord, Yes, says Prime Time. Most importantly,
Shador Sanders completed fourteen passes, two touchdowns, one thirty eighth and.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Part of the Red Sea.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Let's talk to the rookie from the Cleveland Browns with
our guys camp Wolf, I would.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Say, C plus ce plus Yeah, it's passing is passing
because we got to win. You know, that's first and foremost,
and that's extremely important. But you know, Pop said, you know,
take advantage of opportunity, and I don't feel like I did, so,
you know, I feel like I let him down a
little bit. But on the team behalf, I feel like

(03:13):
I ran the offense pretty well. I feel like I
got to my decisions and it's some things I could
have done better and different process where I could speed
my feet up. So you know, I'm just I'm just
thankful for the opportunity. I'm happy, you know, we won,
but it's definitely still time to go to work.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
A passing grade was something I was always happy with
in school. But Shadur is saying that if he could
just play better. At least they got the win. Kyle,
just to make sure. I don't know if you have
one of your fancy swatches on today, but that is
the Shadeur look at the watch like it's time, so
he you know, yeah, you got it. Yeah, exactly, he
was the risk change.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Exactly. It's with the kid.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I'm sure you'll see it now all over the socials. Man,
ta your thoughts, knowing what we felt about Shador going
into this game, what you saw, and now the aftermath.

Speaker 7 (03:59):
Yeah I was.

Speaker 8 (03:59):
I was impressed, but I wasn't impressed because of his performance.
I think the way that he operated, the way he
threw with the ball. We all knew in college he
was accurate. We all knew that he had poised. He
did show his tendency to extend plays. He got caught
one time. The other time he ran to his left
and ran back to his right and gained zero yards.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
But we saw that, so.

Speaker 8 (04:18):
That wasn't something I was surprised by. But the thing
that impressed me was this guy's I did you know
this de Marco knowing that he's the fourth quarterback on
the depth chart. For those of you who don't know
the rep count usually it's around ten to twelve plays
per series in practice right, and there's one seven on
seven series and there's about fourteen periods series, so there's
about forty plays for Shaudure. He's probably getting about two

(04:41):
to three plays three plays max in these periods. And
so given those circumstances, given that background of the lack
of reps, this guy played the least amount of rep shit.
He played the most, other than all those quarterbacks that
didn't play two were hurt. Obviously you have the starting
quarterback he's not going to play. So Shadur played the most.

(05:01):
But for him to play that way, for him to
have that much poised, for him to be that accurate
and that confident, it wasn't surprising because of what we've
seen throughout his career, but it was knowing the situations
and of circumstances that he was playing in through through
training camp and all the rep counts. So I was
very impressed by him for that, for his resilience and
showing that that level of maturity.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
DeMarco, I'm not sure about the setup to fail thing,
but it didn't look too big for him. That's the
first thing that jumped out, and I like the way
he played. I liked his ball placement. I thought the
worst play is look what you said that fourth and
thirteen where he was trying to do too much.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
Now that's where you want to download the score of
the game. It's early.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
We don't need to have you try to be superman here.
We can kick the field goal and just get points
on the board, so all that will come in time.
And I'm trying to figure out do you keep your
watch on this side or this side?

Speaker 7 (05:46):
Am I doing this or this? Yeah, which he's probably
shaking it a little bit.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Kiss so bling out that he's got to look at
it in the three.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
The one behind you over there, it's like he's doing
the baseball out thing like you're out.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
But I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
But anyway, I thought he played pretty good. I thought
he aced the first quiz. It's going to get tougher
from here. This is preseason game number one, so let's
not go to overboard with the effusive praise. I thought
he was good. I think he deserves to be in
the NFL. I would like to see him start again
in preseasons to see what happens after that.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Let's not go too overbre Kyle with the effusive praise,
but have Nike immediately put a poster up that it's
only a matter of time.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Yeah, I listened, DeMarco. I think that horse has left
the barn. It's it's it's this is listen.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
This is one of these games where if you see
the highlight reel like we just showed.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
You, you're like, oh my god, he's starting week one.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
He's going to be all Pro this year. If you
watch the game, which I did on Friday night, it
was it was a little just slightly different without the
produced tweets and the Dion and Lebron. Here's the deal.
He was not brilliant in this game. It doesn't matter though.
Of course it's his first NFL Action ever. He had
some three and outs of start, he had a bunch

(06:56):
of misses, gets a touchdown on a short field, and
then has a legitimately impressive long touchdown drive which you
went three for three. I don't want to take anything
away from Shador. There was a feeling of pride in
this dude, in the impressiveness. Sure, but I think the
biggest takeaway is that there's a perception in the media
and in the public where somehow Shador has been done

(07:18):
wrong and he's been put down and he's been disrespected,
and he's better than that.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Here's what I know.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
He did not look like a fourth string quarterback. He
did not look like a fifth round rookie. He looked capable, able, confident, comfortable,
everything you would want for any rookie quarterback, including the
other rookies who played this weekend like cam Ward and
Jackson Dark who also played well. But there's another part
of this that I thought was really impressive. And if
you've been following this all weekend, and most of you have,

(07:46):
then you saw this. Shadur had an exchange after the
game in the media. There's a Cleveland reporter I'll just
say his name. His name's Tony GROSSI is ESPN Cleveland
who has I don't know him personally, but he has
a very loaded reputation, especially in the Cleveland market, maybe
as someone who is very critical and men think that
maybe he is too negative about young players, Baker Mayfield,

(08:08):
Johnny Manzil, he's seen them all. Shaduur confronted him in
the tunnel after the game, and by confronted, I don't
mean there was some confrontation specifically, I mean he went
up to him and that's all on Cameron, you can
see it, and you said, how can you never say
anything positive about me? You always say anything negative about me?
And there was a little back and forth in a response,
and then Shadur laughs and it felt like the tension

(08:30):
broke and I.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
Just watched it and I said, that's pretty impressive.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
I liked that he handled it that way, and I
liked that he was able to disarm this reporter who's
seen everything, and it looked like it was positive. That
to me showed me a poise, a confidence, and also
like kind of an off the paper type talent that
a lot of people don't have. I like how he
looked on the field candidly and Cleveland I feel they
feel the same way, these Browns fans weroops and everything.

(08:56):
I was more impressed with him in the tunnel handing
a difficult media situation like an adult and a professional,
and just as the way he handled things on the field,
I think it was a great night for him. He's
gonna need a lot more, but it was aul of
a start and I'm proud to what I saw.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yeah, it's like a stripped down version of him when
he has that kind of approach. Kyle, it wasn't for show.
I actually think it was a genuine interaction with someone
that has been critical not just of himself, but maybe
those representative of other young players in the NFL. Kyle
just doing a little history recap. Watching that highlight, it
really reminded me of pop up video. It's like so
many tweets, there's don Dion Dion welldron VH one pop

(09:31):
up video stopped airing in two thousand and two, which
is the year in which Jador Sanders was born. So
when you have Jamie Fox giving social media commentary, Kyle,
you're the one that said on our show on Friday,
like this thing, no matter what, will break the internet.
I mean, I feel like Lebron and Lebron. But like
when you go outside the universe, the sports university, if
you will, into Jamie Fox providing Friday night pre season

(09:55):
football commentary, we've reached another level of it.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
Yes, do we have the Jamie Fox video? Let's roll it.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
Do we have that?

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Let's let's see Jamie Fox's reaction to Brown's Panthers p.

Speaker 8 (10:06):
I hear what all y'all saying my name is Willy
Willy Bemon.

Speaker 7 (10:11):
Hey, he's the real deal.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Hey, Now, how y'all feel now, how y'all feel now?

Speaker 7 (10:21):
No matter what you do, how you feel now? Man
playing for his daddy.

Speaker 8 (10:26):
All you haters, if you hate shadall you hate football.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
That was not Jamie Fox. That was Willie Beeman from
the Miami Shocker. And by the way, DeMarco like, I
don't know if you guys feel the same way as me,
but I'm trying to like applaud and lift up Schador
because that was really cool what he did on the
field and everything about him. The reaction is, we just
saw Jamie Fox say like, how do you like him now?
After he went against Panthers backups, not even like Eagles backups,

(10:57):
Panthers backups.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
It's a lot a lot. So I like it.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
But I'm on that fence about being like, wait to
go Shador, about oh my god, do we really need
the lebron tweets about a preseason game.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
I'm stuck.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
He's got to go down there, Shador does. I mean,
you're use this making it worse on the kid. But
I mean, look, this is the attention that he gets.
I love the entourage thing. But I do love the
fact that he went and talked to the media because
people have preconceived notions about people, and my first question is,
have you ever met him? Did you ever talk to him?
He may not be what you think, so I think
this is great. If you just see this part here,

(11:34):
you probably don't like Shador, you roll your eyes. But
if you actually have a chance to talk to him,
oh my god, he's just like my kid. I know
people like him. So I am rooting for Shador. I
want to see him do well. But it's not going
to be any easier for him when you have people
like Lebron and Jamie Fox doing videos like that, because
what does that do for us The next time we
play Shador? I want to be hey, Jamie, come pick

(11:56):
up your boy, you know what I mean. So it's
making it tough, but I think Shador can handle it.

Speaker 8 (11:59):
Yeah, but it also makes sense as to why Shador
has so much poise, you know, and they're like, the
guy is a Sanders. He's used to this type of attention,
like his dad is who he is, and so when
he starts to act this way with this maturity.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
And this poise and.

Speaker 8 (12:13):
He's not afraid to go up so as a rookie
to gloup against somebody a media member and say what
he says. Nobody does that, you know, unless you have
a background or have a certain experience in this field,
in this environment where you're like, man, I'm.

Speaker 7 (12:28):
Just going to go up to this guy and talk
to him. You have to come from a certain background.
And so it all makes sense. At the end of
the day, KB.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
We can talk about Shaduur for the next three hours,
maybe we even will. It wouldn't be us if I
didn't take a time right now. There there is another
rookie sensation that I just need to give a little
bit of credit to, and it's not Jackson dart or
cam Ward. Can we take a quick, hot second to
go back to that one handed catch by Floria of
the Cleveland Brown Never mind Shadur.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
On this play, he breaks the pocket, he throws it up.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
Watch the catch.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Boom by an undrafted rookie who goes five, eight, one
seventy nine.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Here's my question, Lebron, where's.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Your tweet on Luke Floria? Why not a little love
to Luke Floria, Lebron, He's from mentor Ohio.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
He went to Kent State.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
How about a little love, just a second of love
from Luke Floria. Where's Luke Floria's dad's tweets? Where's his
tweet from any given Sunday guy. That was a more
impressive play than any other rookie made all weekend. And
again five eight, one hundred and seventy nine pounds like
it's nothing. That's like a young Julian Edelman. So Shador,

(13:40):
We're gonna do ten thousand segments on you. I am
taking my pound of media flesh for Luke Floria and
Lebron you should be tweeting about him. That's one of
your people from Ohio. That's a guy making a play.
Celebrate Luke Floria and spell his name right when you
tweet it, please, Lebron, thank you.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
M Yeah, you got to check that Floria spelling absolutely.
I mean even when you type his name in and
you hit news, the thing is like five eight months ago,
an article like give the man a zoo, Kyle, well done.
That's exactly what we have to do on GMFB. We
have to continue to talk about what happened over the weekend,
specifically when the news and the event emerged out of

(14:17):
the Lions game their safety Maurice Norris Junior was injured. Well,
the young player has posted after you know the tragic
event took place with him on the field. Well, Maurice
Norris Junior is speaking out now. God is amazing. Never
forget to give him praise. He's okay, thanking people for
their support after he was taken off the field in
an ambulance late in a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons,

(14:38):
a game in which was called because of how jarring
that event was for everybody. The former President of States
standout played in eight games last season after earning a
spot on the team, and he is an undrafted rookie
now with the story, but people checking in on him
today and go on to his socials to see how
Maurice Snorris Junior is feeling from over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
All right, let's go to Western New York, not upstate
New York.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Don't say that it's Western New York.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
There's Russell Wilson in the Giants uniform. This is the
first time we can see him play a game. How
did he look? He looked good. He's got that cool
Walter Bate, man of the ear patch. He hits jan
Dale Robinson for eleven yards.

Speaker 6 (15:14):
Ross had one drive.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
He was six and seven. He looked fine. We'll see
more of him.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
But here's the guy that everybody's talking about.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Twenty fifth overall.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Pick out an ole, miss Jackson Dark.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
How did he look? He looked really good.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Now let's listen though, to head coach Brian Dable, who
of course used to coach in Buffalo and has been
spending some time with a youthful slang.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Let's say if he wants to teach us.

Speaker 9 (15:36):
You know, I said, I'm proud of you tonight. You
do some good things. We got to make some more
plays too, on a perimeter. That's not what we do.
You know, we got two or three chances to make
those plays. And you know whatever mid what's mid now mean?
That was mid yog? That was his response. I said,
let's let's just let's he's pretty hard on himself. I'll

(15:57):
say that.

Speaker 7 (15:58):
You know, he's.

Speaker 9 (16:00):
Yeah, you gotta ask him about what mid means. I'm
six seven.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
That, Kyle, what's the word in New York about Jackson Darton?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
First of all, six' seven is is the thing that
people are. Saying so now That Brian dable has said.
IT i took it upon. MYSELF i don't know what
that phrase. Means i'm a forty something dad in the,
suburbs SO i looked it. Up sixt' seven is apparently,
everywhere especially in junior. High it's something that all these
kids are saying all the. Time SO i just want
to know what it. Means apparently it derived from A scrilla.

(16:36):
Song And i've spent the entire pre, show like an
hour sitting here before the show, started looking at TikTok
videos about six, seven like my brain has. Melted some
people say it means so, so but others.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Referred argues to a person who is.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Tall the bottom line is the term six seven is,
nonsensical which is sort of the point for six seven.
KIDS i guess it's. Not it's not gonna get me.
Canceled six seven.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Kind of requister, you from an editorial, perspective to just
be using a phrase like six to seven and be
like not what it, means using it on live television
actively looking. UP i like the.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Guts it's.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Good it's kind of like How Jackson dart played.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
It you know, What, jamie that's a, huge great.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Connection Jackson dart played really, well completed his first three.
Passes LIKE i, mentioned he, ran he. Passed it was
like everything you could possibly. Want Russell wilson is starting the.
Season we can look at These Jackson dart. Highlights If
Brian dable had his, WAY i don't Think Jackson dart
would play a single down this year Because Russell wilson
turns out to be really good and they go when

(17:34):
they get to the. Playoffs it's tricky for us in
the preseason because we want to highlight these rookies and
no one is terribly excited necessarily About Russell wilson as A,
giants but very excited About Jackson. DART i don't think
there's no not gonna be a quarterback. Competition there's not
gonna be any of. That he's been from the get.
Go it's going to Be russ and everything in the
first preseason game just backed that. Up so the four

(17:57):
of us here on the, show we like to chew
on something tasty and. SPICY i don't think The giants
quarterback situation is going to be either of. Those take
away from this they made a good looking. Pick dart
looked the part And hopefully we next see, him maybe
in twenty twenty, six ALTHOUGH i don't think it's gonna
go that.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
Way But, matty what do you?

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Think?

Speaker 7 (18:15):
WELL i THOUGHT i thought it was.

Speaker 8 (18:16):
IMPRESSIVE i know we're showing to highlight his touchdown, throw
but the play before, that he actually threw an. Interception
like the ball was, tipped it was, intercepted it was
negated because of a. Penalty but for him to have
that courage to be, LIKE i just threw a, Pick
i'm going to go on a bomb and throw this
that says a lot about his. Makeup but this is
WHAT i this is WHAT i took from. It Brian

(18:38):
daveall runs a totally different offense with him as quarterback
Than Russell. Wilson if you watch that, Game Russell wilson
runs a traditional hand the ball off play, action.

Speaker 7 (18:47):
Let's get the ball.

Speaker 8 (18:47):
Downfield when When Jackson dark comes in the, game it's more,
college it's MORE. Rpo you saw him as when he
was in the mess with the running, back his eyes
are on the defense and he would throw the ball
to a receiver like two yards on the. Field it's
a different. Approach you saw some quarterback designed runs with
a quarterback. Draw so it's going to be interesting for

(19:08):
me to See brian dayball and how he kind of
plays this because obviously he has a certain flavor that
he likes to run With russell compared To Jackson. Dart
and for, me it's, like when do you start to
implement those things because there are definitely two different approaches
To marco to both of these.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
Quarterbacks i'm about to crash. Out is that? Right i'm
trying to get it. Right, No BUT i thought he
was pretty good Watching Jackson.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Dart same thing With Shador. SANDERS i thought he aced
the first. QUIZ i thought his old blank, meter your
quarterback timer was set to. High anytime he felt a,
rush he would take. Off so you, know in this,
league if you put yourself in harm's, way they're going
to harm. You so there's a lot left for him to,
learn but the talent is. There he can get the ball.
Out i'm not a fan of his release and where

(19:49):
it comes, from BUT i said the same thing About Philip.
Rivers it's, effective he gets the ball, out but there's
a lot left for him to, learn but you can
see the. Talent at some point he may track Down
Russell wilson later depending on how The giants.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
To, marco you were almost convincing me that you were
to totally with the youth up until you were, SAID
i felt the same About Philip. Rivers now you've level
set in your generational touchdown, There.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Kyle all, right So Jackson dart's not gonna win the
job in. Preseason what the value is though of this
preseason snaps and this tape and looking good for the
coach and for the fan base is all, Right let's
say The giants don't have a Great.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
September let's, say AND i hope it doesn't.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Happen let's say The giants start one in three And
russ is not playing that. Great then you're, like, Well
dart looked really good in the. Preseason he sat and
watched for a. Month then it only enables and encourages
a coach to maybe make a move earlier than they
would and certainly the fans and the media If Jackson
dark continues to have a great, preseason if they go

(20:50):
zher in, one never mind one and, three they're gonna be,
like what are we doing here With?

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Russ let's start the.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Future now that's the danger and he's not going to
Start week, one but, listen there's action out there if
you want to find. It about what week Will Jackson
dart take over for The. Giants they open the season
at wash To Dallas Kansas. City not an ideal, slate
so keep your eye On. Jackson he won't be their week,
one but based on these preseason, games that maybe turns
up the volume a little.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Bit after, that that clip Of Brian dable after the
game is endearing because you Know dables essentially Acknowledging i'm
a head, Coach i'm of a certain, age And i'm
not really quite with some of the. Vernacular you can't
really say the same about The jaguars brass because it
feels like they're all the same age as the. Players
at this, point What jacksonville has, done as we look
at The Steelers jags highlight is pretty. Remarkable Liam cohen

(21:34):
and company go up and they Get Travis. Hunter they trade,
up they get Him Trevor lawrence now wondering how often
he's going to throw to. Him That's Liam collen in
his first year after as a head, coach after one
year as A bucks offensive. Coordinator jaguars would lose the
game doesn't. Matter we want to check in on the
events Of saturday and see if this, game in the
way that The jaguars Use Travis, hunter shed any light

(21:55):
on the concept of him playing both. Ways, manti your.

Speaker 8 (21:58):
THOUGHTS i stand on WHAT i stand, on AND i
think there's a narrative that that's going around that if
you don't think that he can play both, ways you
don't think he's a good, player you don't want. HIM
i want him to be, Successful, OKAY i Want Travis
hunter to be an all. PRO i don't think he
can become an all pro if he's splitting time between two.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
Sides that's WHAT i want for.

Speaker 8 (22:16):
HIM i want him to be in A hall Of
fame one. Day but how we saw, IT i will say,
this it did change my mind about what position he plays.
BETTER i thought, offensively there was an understanding of timing
in his routes in space THAT i didn't know that he.
Had but then, DEFENSIVELY i thought that he struggled a
little bit with coming up and making some. Tackles there's

(22:37):
a few times that the receivers got inside of him
on a little crossing routes that was a little.

Speaker 7 (22:42):
Surprising to.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
Me but, again you watch his.

Speaker 8 (22:44):
Snapcount he played all offense first quarter and then he
didn't show up again until the second quarter when he played.

Speaker 7 (22:51):
Defense and so it's for, me it's, LIKE i, know
this is probably.

Speaker 8 (22:54):
Not how they're going to do, it but you do
have to factor in the idea that this guy's going
to have to get some, rest he's going to have
to take some time. Off so already those opportunities to
be very competitive on one side of the ball is
going to be taken because he has to play somewhere.
Else AND i don't want that for. HIM i don't
want that For Travis. HUNTER i want him to be dominant.
SOMEWHERE i want him to be dominat a quarter or.

(23:15):
Receiver it doesn't matter to. ME i just don't think
he can be dominant at both at the same.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
Time.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
DeMarco so that's WHERE i. Stink i'm right there with.
YOU i think it's impossible to play both ways at
a high. Level this game is just too, big too,
strong too. Fast BUT i blame show Hey otani for
all this Nonsense. Peo they think they can do both and.
Whatnot But i'll say, THIS i have a lot of
friends who are coaching right now that are my age or,
older and they're.

Speaker 7 (23:38):
Old they come from the old.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
School so you're gonna tell me your best receiver is
out there playing. Cornerback, really that's what you're telling. Me
So i'm running, Screens i'm blocking. Safeties i'm gonna make
that kid make every single play on defense to slow
him down for the other. Side so if he can do,
it more power to. HIM i think it's impossible to
be effective on both sides of the football in THE.
Nfl it's just too. Much that's just no. Way but

(24:00):
if anybody can do, it maybe It's Travis. Hunter but we'll.
See first game it was. GREAT i thought it was a.
Novelty he was. Solid but as far as being great
on both sides of the football for what one hundred
and twenty snaps in THE, NFL i just don't see.

Speaker 8 (24:13):
IT i got to follow up on THAT kb. Before,
oh you just brought up, Something. DeMarco how many times
have we ran a, TOSS i, mean correct the linebacker
and we leave Like Derrick henry to go one on
one with a corner like, that that just brought back
so many good memories to go for me To marco's,
like go attack that corner over, there especially if you
know that that's their star wide receiver as, well he

(24:35):
becomes a huge target for somebody Like Derrick, henry, like
let's run this toss and let's go run it to
his side and run him. Over SO, kb, Man i'm
SORRY i had to cut you, OFF k Because DeMarco
just brought back some good memories about those bad. Ones,
yeah bad one.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
Corner yeah you can always jump, in.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Man if you guys want to apologize for, anything it's
being a big old buzz.

Speaker 5 (24:55):
KILL i hate. THIS i wanted to play both. Ways
i'm here for.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
It don't blanket me On Travis hunter after one preseason. Game,
guys they did not draft in the play one side
of the. Ball they had a whole plan and a
whole vision and a whole bunch of stuff to trade
to go up and get. Him they would not have
made that trade if it was just gonna be for
a wide receiver or a. Corner there's plenty of good
players that high up in the. Draft they want to do,
this and the fact that they're actually doing it in

(25:20):
preseason tells you they.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
Have conviction in doing.

Speaker 7 (25:22):
This this is gonna.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Happen they're gonna do.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
It and if you, say and what you're saying is
true about the other team says let's go after him,
schematically they, say bring.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
It he didn't.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Play college football In cornfield. Somewhere this guy played big
time college football against huge programs and smart coaches who
could have done any of that stuff when they wanted.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
To he knows what this thing is. LIKE i want
him out. THERE i want to see.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
It and for, everyone you, Know, mansai you mentioned, it
And Devonte adams had this really enlightened take about the
injury rate and all, that and everyone's, saying, well you,
know you got to be out there and Tackling Derrick.
Henry first of, all let's stop that they don't Play
Dereck henry this. Year he's not on the. SCHEDULE i,
look The jaguars do not Played.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
Derek put that out of the.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Conversation Unless Terrick henry gets traded The, titans he doesn't
have to Tackle Derk henry unless it's to the. Playoffs
and by the, way that's worth. It SO i don't
want to hear About Derek kentry. Anymore Travis hunter has done.
This The jags are committed to, it AND i want
everyone to stop wet blanketing it because it's fun and
we're talking about The jags and A b, block so
let's leave it.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Alone he's so, polite, like, SORRY, KB i just want
to add one more, things R, kb and then he
just throws the web like it back.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
On.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Manti stop being so nice about. IT i want to
stand up those who did play football in a cornfield
in college because some of those are the best players
that we find in THE. Nfl, okay so those are our,
trenchmen six to, Seven Ben No, Cap Travis, hunter. Everybody
it's two sides of the ball at least in the,
preseason and there he is lining. Up we don't want

(26:53):
to alarm, you but it is a really good feeling
when we actually have plays that we may not have
seen because it actually means that preseason. Happened week one
is in the, books and we got some clips that
we want to. Unearth yet, again make sure we have
everything covered ON gmfb right. Now and this has us,
saying there's no, way there's no way that.

Speaker 6 (27:11):
Happened.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Manti you're up, first no.

Speaker 8 (27:13):
Preseason there's a bunch of things that you don't, expect
BUT i definitely didn't expect a. Record, okay so we
had a record that was just broken by a.

Speaker 7 (27:21):
Kicker can we toss to this? Please we got to see.

Speaker 6 (27:24):
This it was seventy? Yards, yeah, yeah, Yeah noe's.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
Thinking why not go? Seven you can really drill the.

Speaker 7 (27:30):
Ball holden, SMOKES i gotta.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Shot he just kicked a seventy Yard are you kidding?

Speaker 5 (27:39):
Me have you ever seen a seventy yard at ten?

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Middle it hits a seventy yard kick right before a half, time.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
With one second.

Speaker 8 (27:47):
Left he said that the ball wasn't going to go
to The hall Of. Fame he for some, reason it
took the. Bottom know where it. Is but don't put
it behind your.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
CAR i lost. Mind don't put it behinde your?

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Car, yeah that's. Perfect manti lost his game ball out
of the trunk of his car driving Around Sandy. Go
for those of you who haven't heard that story, Before, marco.

Speaker 7 (28:06):
Oh no. DOUBT i think The steelers are rooting for.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Him you should Put there's no WAY i can do
this now when you talk About, ben we're.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
Parents we have to get down.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Here, yes watch this kid, Here Mike, green watch him
come around the. Edge and run this hula hoop and.
Bend this isn't look at his, Ankle look at his,
ankle look at his. Body this is running the hula.
Hoop this is what they. Teach IF i was a
veteran with this, GUY i would haze him BECAUSE i
can't do. THIS i would take your. Pats i'd make
you late for. PRACTICE i, mean this is how you

(28:36):
win in the. Bigs, look that's a duck. Under nice.
Play can't do. That everybody's ankles sore were looking at.

Speaker 7 (28:42):
That, wow it was really.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Great Because marco was, ASKING i wrote in the commercial,
break can you? Bend AND i just didn't know how
to answer the question at. First NOW i understand. IT
i needed more.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Context ask, parents we've done this before when they're.

Speaker 6 (28:53):
Heading to the, right that's.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
It but, yeah only. Once he's gotta do this every.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Day we heard a good story that's a really good
one To. Marco we heard a good story About Sara
sanders in the addressing a media member In. Cleveland my
clip That i'm gonna throw to actually happened on the.
Field and sometimes people say things because they know there's
a mic. AROUND i actually Think Dak prescott said the
following statement to an owner in THE nfl authentically not
thinking he was miked, up and he made apparently a

(29:21):
prediction on THE nfc side of things before the. Game
that is Mister, kronky that is Mister Jerry, jones and

(29:42):
that Is Dak prescott telling The kronkys that we'll meet
y'all in THE Nfc championship. GAME i don't, Know kyle
If i'm bringing body. Language cronky's, like, yeah we've been,
there and The cowboys will see if that can happen for.
YOU i don't love. It it's the hands in the,
pocket it's everything. That kronky's, like, no we understand how
to get. There we'll see if that.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Works, YEAH i don't know IF i trust the lip.
Readers are we Sure dak didn't say wild card? ROUND
i quite, Hell but, listen when you meet people like,
that who are like executives and, bosses sometimes you get.
Nervous you start spouting things Like dak's out of. Controls
yeah If, DAK i hope it's. Right it's been thirty.
Years it would be nothing more refreshing if you're. Right but,

(30:23):
Yeah cronky's, like, YEAH i, know we'll be. THERE i
don't know about.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
YOU i like the.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Confidence we could use that from The. Cowboys my favorite
play of the weekend at fact my. Clubhouse later For
leader for favorite play of the. Season are you guys
familiar With Anthony. Jeffries Anthony jeffries is a wide receiver
out Of Alabama birmingham who for the last several years
has worked as AN nfl, official and he is doing
A Ronnie lot impression on the. Sideline this is the

(30:50):
most outrageous thing to happen this weekend by, far so
The cowboys are gonna throw deep right incomplete WATCH cd
