is he the biggest wild card of the entire twenty
twenty five season.

I think the biggest wildcard is the curator of the

We don't know much about. We just got the pictures
and the stiff tie and the smile and a really

year for Caleb, really weird, really dysfunctional. I don't think
that Caleb Williams Matt Eberflus memory is years from now,
will be wonderful or even existing at all.

If you want to look down on the Bears and
disparage them about how they handle quarterbacks, I don't blame you.
But since he has been arrived as a Bear, Calebrims
has been spoon fed everything you can possibly need in
terms of the front office, in terms of leadership, in
terms of the general manager, including a very brash, young,
very expensive coach that in years past, I promise you
was a Chicago guy, they would have never hired Ben Johnson.

They hired him for Caleb. They're drafting for Caleb. So
can Ben Johnson make it work? I have no idea McCarthy. Sure,
there's questions, but I actually think the biggest question of
all is in his own Division A team. He will
play at least twice this year, and I think it's
Ben Johnson.

But what do you think, Brock.

I'm gonna go with the JJ.

I think that's a very you know, we got to
keep a close eye on it. Definitely coming off of
an injury, and you know he started well last year,
but we got to see what he does this year with.

So coming and coming off of injury is always a big,
you know, big steps.

Him, you know, do get great things this year with

that team can do with a non superstar quarterback.

Yet obviously again coming off of injury and still very young,
they have two incredible wide receivers. And it's kind of
the we know what the floor is and now that
Sam Donald's like a garbage man, but like know what.

Sam Donald is really, he's all over the map.

I would have last year shows us anything he can
do it, you just do it with that.

Offense, and Donald did it, then somebody else can.

Sam Donald Blake supporter. I think you looked great last year.

that got us to thinking, brock, you only played for

who's the bigger threat to the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles?

I've seen this this question, and I really think it's
going to be even though the Lions are a great team.
I think they have, you know, the great foundation, great culture,
but losing Ben Johnson as your officer of coordinator and
the continuity that him, and you know Jared goff had,
I think that's gonna be something to kind of like keep.

So for me coordinator, Yeah, both coordinators, to be honest
with you, But I just Sean McVay his staff, they
always draft really well. They kind of know what they're
doing and they they're like I said earlier, they're silently
building a team. You know, they have DeVante Adams. Matthew
Stafford still has it even though you know Kyle called
him an old man, he still has it. Arm is
still there, his mind is still sharp. So I see

the Rams being the biggest threat for the Philadelphia Eagles
this year.

should be. He has to be you know, he has
to go full you know, death metal music. So but
me and his uh, we had a great relationship. You know,

through as players was the biggest connection. And I think
that's why his players love playing for him, because he understands, uh,

long the season is, things like that, injuries. So I
think he always he did a great job at you know,
making that connection with his players to to you know,
that understanding where he understands what the what the players
are going through.

anxiousness and there's eagerness.

that I chose were prime time, but they're very important

Green Bay. I think this game will be the game
to decide who's going to be, you know, the champions
of the division. Not I mean, not that early, but

we'll see towards the end of the end of the
year who will be still you know, still around in
that division. And also Texans versus Rams, you know, week one,
you know, to start it off, those are really big
games for both of those all four of those teams,
So to see what they do on week one versus
very good teams. I'm excited to get this season started.

But since he has been arrived as a Bear, Calebrims

terms of the general manager, including a very brash, young,
very expensive coach that in years past, I promise you
was a Chicago guy, they would have never hired Ben Johnson.

They hired him for Caleb. They're drafting for Caleb. So
can Ben Johnson make it work? I have no idea McCarthy. Sure,
there's questions, but I actually think the biggest question of
all is in his own Division A team. He will
play at least twice this year, and I think it's
Ben Johnson.

I think that's a very you know, we got to
keep a close eye on it. Definitely coming off of

I would have last year shows us anything he can
do it, you just do it with that.

What do you think about the primetime games?

On the primetime games, I don't know if the games
that I chose were prime time, but they're very important
because I like these teams. So for me, I'm definitely
looking at week one. Week one, you have Lion versus
Green Bay. I think this game will be the game
to decide who's going to be, you know, the champions
of the division. Not I mean, not that early, but

we'll see towards the end of the end of the
year who will be still you know, still around in
that division. And also Texans versus Rams, you know, week one,
you know, to start it off, those are really big
games for both of those all four of those teams,
So to see what they do on week one versus
very good teams. I'm excited to get this season started.

You're just ready for Week one?

Yes, I'm in Week one. I'm ready.

And everybody else, Yeah, Kyle a long ass way away, Wolf,
you know, you know, anybody, We got a long way

So I haven't gotten to talk about the schedule release
because I've been off last week. But my takeaway is
the Titans have zero primetime games. Zero And I'd like
to say I can't believe it, but I can completely
believe it because this is not only a franchise is
routinely disrespected. That man is by far the most overlooked, underrepresented, disrespected,

number one overall pit quarterback in my lifetime.

Understand this, cam Ward, who is big.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
And strong and cool and friendly and professional and has
a very interesting backstory.

Is getting nothing. You will not see him.

In primetime because he's the quarterback of the Titans.

And I have comps for you here, I have comps.

You might think, well, you know it's a rookie quarterback,
a big deal. Last year Caleb Williams number one overall
pick three primetime games. And you might say, well, in
Chicago's a big media market. Okay, how about Bryce Stung
he plays for Carolina. He got two primetime games as
a number one overall pick quarterback. Go back a year
before that, even Trevor Lawrence media market thirty two as

the number one overall pick quarterback. He got a primetime game.
And this cam Ward is saying, why don't you love me?
You can't even toss me the back end of a
primetime doubleheader that starts at ten am.

Eastern, and no will watch anyone. Just give me a
chance here.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
You can't just just give me a charity Thursday night game.
It's like you literally don't remember the Titans. And I
don't know what cam Ward ever did to anybody to
make him so unlikable, so uninteresting. We would rather give
ten primetime games to the Shadoor Sanders deal.

Was drafted five thousand picks ahead of him. I want
to see this guy, but apparently no one.

Else does get to the wild card route. Cam maybe

You know it'll be Saturday at one pm. They'll bury it.
Trust me, it'll be the worst time slot. Cam Ward
could get the Titans to the super Bowl and they
will put it at like a ten am kickoff Pacific
on a random Saturday.
