Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
It's our guest here, one of our favorite people in
the NFL, a longtime friend of this show, a super
Bowl tradition like no other.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Kim Jordan.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome to Good Morning Football.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Oh yeah, hey, I'm super excited to be on. Yes.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
How does the team Kaiver's team speedwork like? Look like
the two guys they're barely bigger than the pylons themselves.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
But continue. I'm sorry, that's what we're here for.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
We're here half a hold spice this morning cam.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
You and I have got to get in that Kai
sunat basement where he just is like on twitch and
do it. We'll get there at some point. That's in
the next step. But for now, we're in New Orleans
and this is your city. You have played your entire
career here, you know it. Well, let me ask you.
One thing someone has to do, the bucket list item
if they're visiting New Orleans for the first time, is what.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Oh bucket list, you gotta go see the river walk,
you know, go go on down here, off chop of
tulist and just just walk the river walk all the
way down you'll see exactly what you need to see,
you know, whether that's the big steamboat, whether that's great
food that's going to pass you by, it's a good time.
Just start there because that's gonna take you from the
(01:25):
bottom of the French Quarter to Frenchman Street, where you're
gonna find great music, great food and a great time.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
And then off that behalf. Then I can show you
where to eat.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
And that's where we talk about, you know, whether that's
off Magazine Street like Rumhouse.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Or wherever that is.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
But again, I'm a foodie, so I can sit here
and tell you about my favorite spots all day. But
that's where. Now here about this. Just know, while you're walking,
you're going to sweat a lot. And when you're sweating
a lot, you know what happens. The shirt starts changing
colors on you.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
Uh huh.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
And just like you know, just like you don't want
the shirt color to change, you should probably keep the
best sort of dealer you can't find. And that's old
spice for me. Come on, it's it's the game that
it's always changing. But it's not. We're not just talking
about football or walk in the river walk or you know,
as we're talking about old space and how it's the
changing the dealder game with its aluminum free sweat ABSORBI
(02:11):
and total body dry field deal Go.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Okay, so of course having freshness.
Speaker 6 (02:16):
So you're walking around the city walk, we walked to
your we walk to your facility.
Speaker 7 (02:21):
Now you're talking about the odor.
Speaker 6 (02:23):
Let's get straight into it, all right, you're repping the
old spice, total body dry field deodoran be honest, which
teammate are you supplying a couple of bottles to? Because
you know, we got some of them dudes in the
locker room that either take the shower pill or don't
use deodrant. Come on, put them on glass right now.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
You know, I'm I'm I'm going to have to say,
I plead clearly playing the trenches. So as much as
I love my d line, I probably hate my old
line somewhere deep on the very top of my heart.
So of course it's going to be an office alignment.
And so if I see a guy, you know, if
I see a guy like Eric McCoy or you know,
Caesar Uiz, who are my dogs? They know, you know,
(03:02):
they like to dance and have a good time, which
to me is they're probably landing on the sweaty side, and.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
That's that's why you have to hit them with, you know, just.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
A little product place and you hit them with a
little slide like, hey brother, I got you this wonderful
mandarin sandalwood, you know, old spicey oder stick, just for you.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Cam.
Speaker 8 (03:18):
It makes perfect sense. You know what's making me sweat
is I'm looking at the map of New Orleans. I'm
making sure I really understand how the city is laid out.
What was the name of that street that you said,
because I don't want to be landing in New Orleans
and saying that totally botching that very popular. It starts
with the tch.
Speaker 9 (03:33):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Choppatolas? I gave you that earl.
Speaker 9 (03:39):
Up?
Speaker 7 (03:40):
Okay, now I'm going to sound like something like that.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Who knows how to sell that.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
It's one of those It's one of those words you
look at the side and you're like, oh, well.
Speaker 8 (03:48):
Now I know told me exactly so Cam, it's pretty cool.
You guys played both the Eagles and the Chiefs this year.
Your defense held both quarterbacks to zero touchdowns. As the
pass rusher Doujura in those days, what is one thing
that you could tell somebody playing on Sunday, Hey, this
is how you'd stop Jalen Hurts, or this is how
(04:09):
you'd stop Patrick Mahomes.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I'm gonna say, hey, good luck.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
But if you want to know the truth, if you
talked about Jalen Hurts, he could beat you in the air,
he could beat you with your feet, and then he
gives off the ball to sa Quan home run Barkley.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
You know, mister, what is you?
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Mister twenty five hundred all purpose yards whatever that is?
I mean, come on, dude, talking about sa Quan two,
k aj Brown, Deavonte Smith.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Good luck.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Now, we had a great game plan and I think
we had the defense to match up with them with
with our guys like Tomorrow Davis with Tyro Matthew with myself,
Chase Young, Carl Grandison, and Brian Berzi, the the sophomore phenom.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
And it was, it was. It was a heck of
a time trying to trying to hold everybody down.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
You know, we go to go to Kansas City and
you've got Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelcey and whatever brotherly heavenly
bond that they have with each other. It's hard to stop.
There's it's it's just, you know, pick your poison, not
to mention. You know, if they got uh, they got
worthy over theirs. I DeAndre Hopkins somehow is in that
mix of I mean, they put together an all star
studded cast of wide receivers just for this this playoff run.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
At that point again, you just you start sweating a
little bit.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Which is going to bring me back to why you
need a total body deodor like old spice.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
You know what, Cam, I'm glad you brought that up
because I was getting so bored hearing about Saquan and Mahomes.
I want to talk more about old Spice. You would know,
and I'll tell you why. Because you're from Arizona, you
went to college in California, and you've played your whole
career in Louisiana.
Speaker 7 (05:38):
You know what it's like to be hot.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
However, Cam, recently there was snowfall in New Orleans, and
I believe the family got out there and did the
Elson Anna and made a snowman talk us through this.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
This is so cool. Yeah, I mean, come on, when
are you going.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
To be in New Orleans where it's just freezing cold
all of a sudden enough to get snow hadn't snowed
my entire time here.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
I think it's just an anomaly.
Speaker 9 (06:03):
Right.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
So we're out there, and of course my role as
a dad is to make their lives fear snow, just
like I hate snow, you know.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
So we got out there, we made a snow man.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
They're like, Dad, our hands are cold, and I was like,
oh no, we're gonna get all this snow fun that
you've been dreaming about. We're gonna roll in it, we're
gonna toss the snowballs, we're gonna do everything that you
want to. And by the end of the day, I
was like, you know, ten minutes in, I was like,
all right, so I'm ready to go inside. They're like, no, Dad,
we're gonna stay out here. And we stayed till that
snow thawed, and I said, wow, okay, this backfired. And
now they're like, Dad, we can we go see snow
again in the next forty years whenever it snows again,
(06:33):
you know. But for me, apparently I thought I thought
my kids would have the same desire to get out
the snow as I do.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
They don't. They loved it.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
They're into it. Okay, uh cam we love having you on,
I've got to ask you a very serious question.
Speaker 7 (06:46):
So let's change the tone a little bit.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
You're repping old spices total body drive field deodoran tell
us about the product.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
I mean, come on, what do not need to know?
Speaker 4 (06:57):
I mean again, aluminum free sweat absorbing total body dry
deodor field deodor where you can use a twenty four
seven for total freshness. And even if we revert back
to the football game where we want to know things, like,
you know, is it going to be like a high
scoring game? If you want to know, like if you
want to say, hey, what is it about this game
(07:17):
that's gonna make it It's gonna make it special?
Speaker 9 (07:19):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Will will it be? Maybe?
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Will it be wise to consider a fortune telling old
spice guy who may know these answers? I'd say, so
just think about them. Look, my guy, my God is
gonna talk and we can ask him a question. And
let's be real, as much as as much as this
guy knows.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
We can ask.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
So if I say, hey, will it be a high
scoring a high scoring game between the Chiefs and the
UH and the Philadelphia Eagles doubles it's double first is
double a yes? So that's gonna be a high scoring game.
We love touchdowns and my guy's gonna give you the
answers for them.
Speaker 8 (07:58):
Cam, You're you're doing quite the lift and we appreciate
you so much. Right now, do you have an Old
Spice prediction for this weekend that your guy not from
but from you?
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Oh man?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
I mean, if I said, is this going to be
a game that's going to be one on Sunday help,
I'm gonna say.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
It's a resounding possible. If we're going to say, is
it a.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
The way I see it is, if it's a close game,
it is probably going to go the red and white way,
And if it's a it's a game that's not so close,
I'm probably gonna lean towards green. I see how both
teams can win, and I'm just irritated that the black
and Gold is not somehow and interjecting all these colors.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Understood, done and well done, Camp. Thank you for welcoming
us to your fine city. You're awesome and good luck
this weekend. No matter what you're doing, you and the
Old Spice guy, we appreciate you both coming on this morning.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
My ma'am, hey, thank you for having me as always,
you know, it's it's always gonna be Hoota forever, and
then you know we'll go from there.
Speaker 8 (08:57):
If Steve Spagnolo and the Chiefs defense are able to
contain say Kwon Barkley like no other team has been
able to do so far this season. Can the Eagles
still win if Saquon Barkley does not pop off the screen?
Speaker 7 (09:10):
Kyle?
Speaker 8 (09:10):
Can the Eagles still get it done?
Speaker 7 (09:13):
They can? They can, and that doesn't mean they will.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
They certainly can, though, And I don't expect Saquon to
have a massive game.
Speaker 7 (09:19):
I really don't.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
I don't think this is going to be Wow, saque
out of one hundred and seventy yards and he's going
to Disneyland. The Chiefs d and the chief defensive coordinator
is too good at that. But if you look over
the season, if you look at those games where Saquon
was bottled up, those few games, you know, yeah, it's
three worst games production wise for the Eagles. They won
all three of them, and they won by an average
of two touchdowns, So they understand how that works.
Speaker 7 (09:41):
Now, those weren't against the Chiefs. I understand that.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
But I think we've been lulled into and seduced by
Saquon's ability and just the prestige of what he's doing
and his likability into thinking that this is really the
Saquon Show. This is the best roster top to bottom
in the NFL, the best roster top to bottom in
the NFL.
Speaker 7 (10:00):
This is the Howie Roseman Special.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Their defense is incredible, their wide receiver and their weapons are incredible.
We have to stop thinking that Saquon needs one hundred
and eighty yards to give them a puncher's chance. It
is a huge juggernaut of a team from top to bottom.
I think the defense has to have a fantastic game.
I think they have to win a pretty low scoring game.
Like I think if the Eagles win this game, it's
(10:22):
it's twenty to seventeen or twenty four to twenty one,
something like.
Speaker 7 (10:25):
I don't think this is a game in the thirties.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
I think it's a fantastic segment for all of us
to grab these clips on Monday. And if someone were
to say, I don't know who it would be among
us that know Saquon needs to have a massive game
to beat the Chiefs, and then he doesn't and they do,
it'll be a fun clipt way back I don't think
that they he has to go crazy to beat them.
Speaker 7 (10:44):
They're really good. I love this show.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
You know I love this show is because we may
have different takes, but we also uplift each other's takes.
Because I think Saquon has to have a big game
in order for the Eagles to win. If he doesn't
have a big game, it is going to be extremely
difficult for the Philadelphia Eagles to win this game. If
you look at the two games, well, they lost a
few games, but the two games in the beginning of
the season, and that they lost one to the Falcons
and one to the Bucks. Saquon against the Falcons had
(11:08):
twenty two carries for ninety five yards. Against the Buccaneers
he had ten carries for eighty four yards and they
lost both games. So if Coach Spagnolo is able to
take away Saquon in the run game, then he gets
the Egos exactly where he wants him. He gets in
one dimensional and he forces Jalen Hurts to make the
perfect throw every single play. Now you know that Coach
(11:29):
spag is going to run Manda Man, so even more
so for Jalen, he has to make that play and
it's already hard for any quarterback to make the perfect
pass every single play, let alone somebody who's in a
system where allows him to be able to be relaxed
from time to time and hand the ball off to Saquon.
So I strongly believe that if Saquon doesn't have a
big game, it's going to be extremely difficult to win
(11:50):
the game. Now, can they to Kb's point, yes they can,
but it's going to be a hard going against this
Kannas City Chiefs defense.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
It ain't happening. It ain't happening.
Speaker 6 (11:58):
I mean, I hear you, guys. I'm saying right now,
if Saquon Barkley does not have a big game, the
Philadelphia Eagles will not have a chance to win. You
need this this, We've heard this all season long, that
this is a run first offense.
Speaker 7 (12:14):
Run first with who, with who with.
Speaker 6 (12:16):
This man, say Kwon Barkley, he is the heartbeat of
this offense. You talked about it, you know, Manti. Yeah,
you make them one dimensional, You make them one dimensional.
Speaker 7 (12:24):
All of a sudden, you have.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
Jalen on Jalen and I'm talking about Jalen Watson, Watson
being able to shut down the wide receivers. And then
on the other side you have Trent McDuffie. I think
when I look at this position, I see this offense
built around him being able to carry the ball, but
not just carry the ball, but also eating up and
carrying the time of possession. That's been the secret sauce
for them. You talked about those couple of games where
(12:46):
he was shut down. I will give Nick Sirianni his credit.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
He's made the credit.
Speaker 6 (12:50):
This is a team to start off two and two,
and they flipped the script real quick. They flipped it
and have been really really consistent and really like leaning
into their identity as far as being like dedicating themselves
to the run. But I don't see them winning, not
against Patrick Mahomes and this offense that is just really opportunistic.
They can make things out of anything. So I will
say that it's going to be highly unlikely for the
(13:12):
Philadelphia Eagles to win if Sakawon Barkley is shut down.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
All right, So here's what I'm wondering, and this is
topical because we got NFL honors tonight, We're going to
find out who's going in the Hall of Fame. We
got Hall of Famers just walking all over the place
here on Radio Row in New Orleans. We had Jerome
Bettison last hour, Kyle, was Saquon Barkley already in your
Hall of Fame class five years after he retires, or
does he need a Super Bowl win, a Super Bowl
(13:37):
MVP in order to solidify the definition of his legacy
in your mind?
Speaker 7 (13:44):
Well, the comp is it's Terrel Davis.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
It's fun to look at him because TD gets into
the Hall of Fame, and he did it largely from
two fantastic seasons. Now he won two super Bowls and
that was like he was so good for that time,
they just put him in. He didn't have the duration,
he didn't have decades of production like someone with EMITTT.
Speaker 7 (14:02):
Smith.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
So obviously Saquon took massive, massive leaps this year. Two
thousand yards is very very special. That is a huge
deal in the Hall of Famers' eyes. A super Bowl championship,
a super Bowl MVP would be even more. Now Saquon's
got a lot more yards to go, and he's got
a lot more years to play.
Speaker 7 (14:21):
This just I think the legacy.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Question for this take away, the Hall of Fame, take away,
the stats. I think it's the single greatest running back
season of all time ever played. If he finishes us
with the Super Bowl, it's already in the conversation now
because he's a two thousand yards, he's in position to
have the most playoff rushing yards ever and then a
Super Bowl title against a defense that never gives up
on hundred yard rushers and is trying to win their
third Super Bowl. I think if he sticks the landing
(14:44):
here is single greatest running back season any year ever
in the history of the sport.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
That's the legacy Mike drop. That's called a mic drop, right,
Mike drop. I think Saquon, in my opinion, is already
having a Hall of Fame career if he wins the
Super Bowl. It's I mean, you're talking about first ballot
type of conversation. And after that, you know. I went
on did some research. I looked at running backs that
are in the Hall of Fame around the same yard aage,
(15:12):
as as as a Saquon that didn't play in a
Super Bowl, didn't win the Super Bowl. Gail Sayers, it
was one of them that came up. He had almost
five thousand yards, thirty nine touchdowns, and he didn't even
play in the postseason game where a Saquon has seven
two hundred yards and forty eight touchdowns and he's about
to play in the Super Bowl game. Now, I saw
Barry Sanders the side note.
Speaker 7 (15:30):
I saw Barry Sander's yards. It is ridiculous, Eric thifty
cent yards. It is ridiculous, guys.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
So that's a whole nother conversation. But as far as
Saquon is concerned, his his legacy is already in that
Hall of Fame conversation. To me, Jamie, and if he
wins the Super Bowl and is Super Bowl MVP, man,
that's first that's first ballot kind of conversation.
Speaker 7 (15:49):
I'm up, wow, how cool would that be?
Speaker 6 (15:52):
You know, if he gets snubbed for the MVP of
the season, for him to go out there and win
Super Bowl MVP, that would be iconic. If he wins
this Super Bowl, one hundred percent, he would. I think
this would mark him in his legacy because it's.
Speaker 7 (16:07):
A core memory, right.
Speaker 6 (16:08):
I don't think anyone living in today's right now that
is a fan of football watches this season and go,
I don't remember that Saquon season. You'll remember the backwards jump,
You'll remember the two thousand yards plus you'll remember almost
getting close to getting that all time single season record.
You'll remember the Super Bowl ring. Core memories are hard
to forget. That would cement him into the Hall of Fame.
(16:30):
I think of a core memory. Heck, I remember when
I was born. I remember coming from dark to light.
You know, like that's something you just can't forget.
Speaker 7 (16:37):
And I think.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
Saquan has been in the dark with the Giants. Boom,
he popped out into the light with the Eagles and
wins the Super Bowl. Come on, dog like, of course
that's a Hall of Fame season.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Well, look, a lot of those guys in the Hall
of Fame, we play his position never even got this opportunity.
Speaker 7 (16:53):
Take a pick who you want.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Barry Sanders never played in a Super Bowl, the Danian
Thomlinson never played in a Super Bowl.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
Dereck Henry has never played in.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
A Super Bowl. This is special, special stuff. And the
list of guys who are Super Bowl MVP at running
back it's very short. It's not this massive expansive club.
They almost always give it to the quarterbacks. So Saquan
now has an opportunity to do this. I'll say, you
just had the greatest running back season of all time.
I think by the end of his career he has
(17:21):
a shot for running back rushmore and I mean like
the four Greatest Stuff.
Speaker 7 (17:25):
He's not there yet. I don't have him there yet,
but he is on.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
That trajectory and this would be a crown jewel in
it because he's not a passenger on this ship. This
is not a running back who want to ring at
the end of his career like Walter Payton or as
the second best player with the quarterback is the main attraction.
Saquan is the conductor of this engine and he will
be looked back on this.
Speaker 7 (17:44):
But he still has to beat the Chiefs and almost
nobody can.
Speaker 8 (17:49):
Absolutely, Kyle, I'm still kind of rattled by the stage
jumping that just happened with Naperlson earlier this show, and
the fact that he did kind of take my brother
away when he said he thinks Josh Allen's going to
win the MVP. Should you just go around the horn
right now, either say what you think about Nate thinking
that Josh Allen's going to win or or kyleos are
with you? Do you think it's going to be somebody else?
Speaker 1 (18:07):
I do think it's gonna be Josh Allen, I do,
and I think there's a little bit of voter fatigue
and that's unfair to Lamar Jackson and that shouldn't be
the way you vote. But I do think it's gonna
be Josh Allen. I also it is just a side note.
I think we have said the MVP conversation for months now,
and there's actually fatigue about the conversation. I think that
conversation tomorrow morning is not going to be about the MVP.
(18:27):
I think it's gonna be about Eli Manning. Eli Manning
is up for first ballot Hall of Fame, and whether
he gets in or not, there will be dissenters, there
will be celebrators, there will be people who are downright
confused and offended even that Eli is a first ballot guy.
Speaker 7 (18:41):
I will go on the record right now.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
I think he will be inducted, not inducted, but announced
tonight as a first ballot guy. And I know people,
I know people who played the game who do not
think that should happen. I bet I believe it will.
I think that's tomorrow's conversation. Eli, Wow, he got in
or they didn't let him.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
I think Lamar is going to win the MVP. I
think that's who should win the MVP. I think by
the number is what he's been able to do this year.
This is best year statistically, so if we're talking about
most Valuable Player, it has to be the guy who's
put up the most points, through the most yards and
done all of those and that's Lamar Jackson. I'm not
trying to take away anything from Josh Allen. He had
(19:18):
a miraculo this year. He's the best player on that team,
and he has, to Nate's point, he's dealing with less
on his team than what Lamar has to deal with.
But that doesn't take away from the fact that Lamar's
continued to be dominant, and if not more dominant this
year in twenty twenty four, then he has previous years.
When you want the MVP twice, so I have to
go with Lamar.
Speaker 6 (19:37):
It's interesting to see Nate go out there and give
his opinion about Josh Allen, although I will bring to
attention he was wearing purple and black.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Hmm.
Speaker 7 (19:47):
He might be.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
Sending off the wrong signal, but the vibe he's telling
me is Lamar Jackson. I think Lamar Jackson wins this one.
He had a perfect season. My heart is with Saquan
and I've been saying that all season long.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
All Right, Jalen Hurts will attempt on Sunday to derail
the dynasty to the third quarterback to ever beat Patrick
Mahomes in a playoff game.
Speaker 7 (20:08):
And one of the ways he's going to do it
is with his temperament.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
We have all said it in one way or another
over the last several months and years, even that Jalen
Hurts is incredibly cool that he does not panic, he
does not get to high, get too low, and in
that market, with that fan base, it's a really great,
great quality.
Speaker 7 (20:22):
Specifically yesterday I said.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
In his press conferences, you really can't even tell if
he won or loss. He's the same guy every single time. So,
my friends, we're going to put that to a test
in a game called the Truth Hurts.
Speaker 7 (20:36):
The truth you're looking for, I'm going to.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Play you a clip from a postgame press conference of
Jalen Hurts throughout his career the last few years.
Speaker 7 (20:45):
All you need to do is watch.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
The clip and say that's after a win or that's
after a loss.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
Do it however you want.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
We will do the same order every single time, you
will go Jamie Mantai, Peter the truth Hurts.
Speaker 7 (20:59):
Here comes clip number one.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
This is right after the game. Jalen Hurts plays the
Super Bowl on Sunday. But in this clip is he
speaking after an Eagles win or an Eagles loss?
Speaker 5 (21:11):
Roll it.
Speaker 9 (21:13):
Obviously we have a ton to clean up. I have
a ton to clean up.
Speaker 10 (21:15):
I'm not executed to the level of my standard and
what that is.
Speaker 9 (21:22):
Yet you know, it seems to be enough.
Speaker 10 (21:28):
But in terms of the standard that I like to
play to consistently and I like us to play to
consistently as a team, enough is never enough.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Yeah, Jamie, win.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Win, Okay, go ahead and speak, guys.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
I'll say win.
Speaker 7 (21:52):
Yes, I thought I thought it was.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
It's for Jamie.
Speaker 7 (21:54):
Go ahead, Kyle.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
I'm gonna do something one better. I'm gonna win, and
I'm gonna guess which game. I'm gonna say. It's after
the Jacksonville win when they were bowing, Siriannie, I'm gonna
say win. They just I mean forlorn Jalen Hurts. But
yet I feel like they won that game.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
All right, Peter, always going for double Peter, you were wrong, guys.
Speaker 7 (22:10):
It is after a win.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
But it was after a kind of infamous win twenty
twenty three season. They had just beaten the Bills in
overtime to get to ten and one, and remember that's
when it kind of derailed. So he's saying, you know,
we got a lot to clean up, We got to
do this and this. He was probably right. So I'm
gonna say Peter is wrong. Manti and Jamie are right.
Moving forward clip number two. Remember it always goes Jamie
(22:34):
Mantai Peter. Clip number two of Jalen Hurts. Does this
come after a win or after a loss?
Speaker 9 (22:44):
You know I said it earlier. No man is an island.
You must draw your strength from others.
Speaker 10 (22:48):
I can't perform without the other ten on the field,
and same on the other side.
Speaker 9 (22:55):
They need me to do my job for them to.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Eat when when.
Speaker 11 (23:04):
Win, Guys, that was after a win the Eagles con
seated the Vikings twenty twenty two, the first Super Bowl
season they Hurts was absolutely dominant three hundred yards and
he's sitting there saying, no, Madison island drawing your own strengths.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
It's really mercurial. There's no glint in his eye, there's
no smile. He is just locked in. Let's get to
clip number three again, Jamie, and feel free to give
us a little bit of an analysis or anything behind you,
Jamie Mantai Peter clip number three.
Speaker 12 (23:38):
We have to intensely control the controllables, and I think
when I look at this game, there are a lot
of things that we could have controlled fundamentally in our details,
(23:59):
the little things.
Speaker 7 (24:05):
Loss.
Speaker 8 (24:06):
He looked at the table seven times instead of three.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Yeah, there was a long gap in the explanation. So
I say it's a loss.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
I'm taking another guest here, guy, that's for analysis. I'm
not going to be short. Week two, they lost to Atlanta.
Remember Saquon dropped the pass. I'm gonna say that's the game,
the loss to Atlanta and the Monday Night game.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
Guys, this was the Monday night game where they lost
to Atlanta Cousins game winning drive Saquon dropped Peter taking
victory lap.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Come on, that's it, little fist pump right here, Yeah,
my head, that's like saqu I remember the press conference,
the whole control of the uncontrollables. There was a lot
of stuff and I remember it being there like, hey,
the Giants might have known something here Saquon Barkley might
not be that great, and then sure enough he went
on and do what he did this season.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
All right, Peters, that's what you call just peacocky or peacocky,
and that's what we do. He's just showing off for you,
all right. Next clip, guys, I wonder if can nail
this game too? Is this after an Eagles win or
an Eagles loss?
Speaker 9 (25:11):
I carry my scars on me everywhere I go. I
don't forget.
Speaker 10 (25:16):
Do I waste my energy worrying about the pain of
someone else, pain of a sheet.
Speaker 9 (25:21):
No, but I truly invest my.
Speaker 10 (25:24):
Focus in me getting getting better as a team, getting
better as a player, excuse me, getting better as a quarterback,
and doing the things I need to do for my team.
So everybody in the opinion on deposit at the.
Speaker 8 (25:36):
Bank, Gosh, I like his energy in that clip. I
really badly want to say it's a win, but I
think he's trying to deceive us.
Speaker 7 (25:46):
And I actually think this is after a loss.
Speaker 8 (25:47):
He kind of seems like annoyed.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
Yeah, he does seem a little annoyed, Jamie. And it's
a little annoying that I can't figure this out. So
I'm going to say this after a win.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
I'm saying it's a win over the Steelers this year
where he didn't play great. But Saqua, sure, that's.
Speaker 7 (26:02):
The other people goes into details.
Speaker 5 (26:03):
I know that I'm right, So go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 7 (26:05):
This is interesting, Peter. It is after a win.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
However, it is after a twenty twenty two win Eagles
over Giants. They crushed them forty eight to twenty two.
Week fourteen, Tae Kwon was stuffed in this game. Sakwon
had twenty two yards rushing against his future franchise was great,
and I think there's been some talk leading up to
the week, and so he came out and dusted out
(26:30):
the old opinion of the sheep quote.
Speaker 7 (26:33):
So, guys, where are we at score wise? The production booth?
Speaker 3 (26:36):
What do we have?
Speaker 7 (26:37):
Go ahead? Do we have this screward?
Speaker 3 (26:38):
What do we have?
Speaker 7 (26:41):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (26:41):
There it is so four, Manti with four, Jamie with three.
So here's our moneyball, guys, this is where two points.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Last clips go.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Is this after a win or is this after a
Jalen Hurts loss?
Speaker 7 (26:56):
Rolling.
Speaker 10 (26:57):
I know I've walked through the fire time and time again,
and in the end, it's always made me stronger and.
Speaker 9 (27:05):
The only thing that I've wanted to do.
Speaker 10 (27:08):
I've just been on this constant quest of trying to
be the best player I can be.
Speaker 9 (27:12):
With no limits.
Speaker 8 (27:17):
I think this is after the Super Bowl fifty seven.
Speaker 7 (27:21):
Loss, okay, seven loss, no limits.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
There is a limit to my knowledge of this. I'll
say this after a win KB Okay, Peter.
Speaker 7 (27:33):
Jamie, I'm playing the context clues.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Usually after the Super Bowl, they're stuck in some like
weird room with no official background.
Speaker 7 (27:38):
There's like a black curtain.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
It's like very disheveled, and there's international media screaming questions
at them. I don't think it was a Super Bowl loss.
I think it was last game they played. I think
it was the NFC championship win over the Commanders.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
All Right, so Peter says win, and this is a
fascinating one, guys. That was when Jalen Hurts came out
to announce that he had signed a two hundred and
fifty five contract.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
So that is it's a big win, big win.
Speaker 7 (28:06):
And he's still in there saying nice, I've walked through
the fire time and again nothing.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
He is so locked in. That could have been a
loss to the Falcons. That could have been a win
over the Giants that was announcing his contract. Peter, what
did you learn from watching these clips with Jalen Hurts
as it might apply to Sunday's game?
Speaker 2 (28:24):
As a cucumber cannot be phased. And I think at
some point Jalen Hurts is going to have to make
a pass, and I don't think he's going to be nervous,
and I don't think that moment's going to be too big.
Speaker 7 (28:33):
Beautiful, beautiful, Jamie, take us home. Thanks.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
We find out that Landon Dickerson buys a lawnmower when
he gets his contract extension, and Jalen Hurts looks like
that after he gets paid tw hundred and fifty five
million dollars.
Speaker 7 (28:45):
It's perfect.
Speaker 8 (28:46):
The Eagles are playing in another Super Bowl once again.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Kyle.
Speaker 8 (28:49):
Really well done.
