Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Welcome to GMFP. It is Thursday, May first. I cannot
believe we are already in May. Everybody on Colleen Wolf
sitting alongside Matt Tito and.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
In New York City.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
We got the two, the Dynamic Duo.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
We love these three together.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
The Dynamic Duel. Okay, well there can be two.

Speaker 5 (00:26):
Listen.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Like every flower, there's no competition with flowers. They're all beautiful,
they all bloom together. It's Ross Tucker and Kyle Brant.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
What's up, gang, We're having all kinds of fun.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I'm glad that you're here again. I have a teaser
for later in the show.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
A personal friend of mine texted me last night watching
the show and had an observation about.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
One of our personal appearances.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I'm not going to say which one of the four
it is, but I will tell you later. It was
an astute observation, and I think one of us is
going to be complimented, one of us is going to
be offended with that. We are going to talk about
Kirk Cousins shortly. Let's get right to the show and
start it.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
Come on, Good what's hello.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Hello everybody, Welcome in Hope.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You're having a great morning. I just watched my dog
pull a mirror off the wall from separation anxiety, and
right now she is freaking out. My neighbors are so
excited about this. I'm sure so hopefully I still have
an apartment by the end of this show. Everyone, this
is going to be an awesome day, though.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I'm excited about it.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yesterday was super fun. I really like this, this group
of four. So you guys ready to rock.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Get to We're ready to rock. Yeah, Sorry about the mirror.
That's too bad. You had a worse night than the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Collen, Honestly, I don't know what else is going to happen.
Veteran quarterback Ker cousins there he is remains a member
of the Atlanta Falcons for now, but he has been
linked to other teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers. Falcons general
manager Terry Fontino says the team continues to keep all
options open.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
We just have to be patient there, and we we
always were open with it, not just talking about Kirk,
but with really anybody on our roster. You know, we
have a lot of those calls with I'll probably talk
to already six or seven GMS since the draft has ended,
and they're talking about their roster. We're talking about our roster.

(02:26):
Because after you get through the draft, that shifts some
things in terms of needs and surplus and all that,
and so we're always patient with those types of things
because if something comes to us with Kirk or any
other player that makes sense and it's going to help
this team, then we're going to be aggressive and we're going.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
To do it. Okay, so they're going to be aggressive,
they're going to do it.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
But Ross, at this point, what do you think would
be the best situation for Kirk Cousins. How does this
whole situation play out?

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Well, first, I want to start with what Fontino said
about them still getting calls about Kirk Cousins. I don't
know if it's called a gift or jiff, but you
know Will Ferrell an anchorman where he says, I don't
believe you. Yes, that is what I'm saying to Terry
though right now I don't believe you.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Okay, I don't believe.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
You're getting calls anymore, Terry about Kirk Cousins. The Browns
have moved on. They were the most likely team. They
drafted two guys. They have five quarterbacks. Now, okay, they're
not going to pay money to get Kirk Cousins on
their roster. The Steelers pretty clearly are getting Aaron Rodgers,
otherwise they would have drafted a quarterback higher.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
There have been some.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Talk about the Vikings maybe bringing Kirk Cousins back. They
traded for Sam Howe. They love JJ McCarthy. At this point,
Kirk Cousins got no place else to go. He's like
Richard Gere and whatever that movie is. I didn't really
watch on but is it full mental jack? What's it
called Richard Gere?

Speaker 3 (03:53):
You've got no place else to go? I don't even
know that right.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Oh no, it's like a it's a military movie, offeral officer.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
And a gentleman. Yes. Yeah, by the way we went in.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
The show, I've already referenced Anchorman and all of a sudden,
jas I piled the movie guy, just so you know.
So the point is, okay, I think he's gonna be
in Atlanta. I don't think you've got any other options
at this point. If I'm supposed to say what the
best situation is for Kirk, I guess JJ McCarthy gets
hurt and the Vikings bring him back, or maybe Rogers

(04:26):
decides to retire and he can go to Pittsburgh. But
I don't only see one for him right now. I
think the best situation for Kirk Cousins is to make
twenty seven and a half million dollars as a backup.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
That sounds amazing.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
So which is more likely that font No is getting
all these calls or that Richard.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Gere was in full metal jacket? I think very handsome
soldier in the barracks. They're in basic training, all right.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I kind of come out the same way though, because
I'm my names. Who is Who's like, we are interested
in Kirk Cousins. Ross is doing the thing where you're like,
there's thirty two teams now, like almost none of them
are single. They're not out there. Look, maybe the Steelers
is the only thing that really makes any sense. You
just start knocking things things off. The Browns have the

(05:10):
weirdest quarterback room ever, including two rookies I'm not even
sure one of which they even wanted to draft.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
They're not bringing kirk Cousin there.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Someone said, like the Saints, the fact is they're not
trading Kirk Cousins, the third division rival.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
They're out the Steelers. I don't know. But I also my.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Take on kirk Cousins is, even if the Steelers were
interested in them as some sort of plans see after Rogers,
I don't think Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Is going anywhere.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I think at this point he's like, I'm staying in Atlanta.
Remember lifestyle choices here, a much older guy in the league,
an incredibly wealthy guy in the league, a guy with
a lovely wife and two children, a wife who is
from the Atlanta area. You got to get into this stuff.
The kids who just moved from Minnesota a year ago,
new friends, new schools, it's te ball season for his

(05:57):
little boys. And I just, you know, I think of
someone in his position Kirk Cousins, And it's funny you
mentioned anchorman. I got to have a conversation ones with
Paul Rudd, who's been on the show a million times.
I was talking to Paul Rud, who's an anchorman, and
I was just like, hey, man, why aren't you on
any social media.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
You're not on twittering on anything.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
He's like, at this point in my career, it's just
so much work, just tell me where to stand.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
That's all I want to do. And I totally get that.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I feel like Kirk Cousins is a little bit Just
tell me where to stand. I know he wants to
go and win a Super Bowl and blah blah blah.
Come on, he's in Atlanta, he made a huge move there,
he's under contract. There's a fair chance he will get
in and play. Even if Pennix is the Week one starter,
which he will be.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
He can get injured. He get all this stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I think it's something to talk about, and it's a
famous quarterback we've talked about for fifteen years going to.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Pittsburgh and it's sexy as hell.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Mat say, unless you feel differently, I think we're going
to see a lot of shots and Kirk Cousins weren't
a baseball cap. I'm doing a lot of clapping on
the sideline this year. Very enthusiastic guy. But I don't
think he's going to leave. Tell me I'm wrong.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, I mean, listen, we have I think we have
a picture of Ross Tucker listening to Terry Fontina right now,
So I get it.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
There it is. I don't believe you. Wow, we have
that stuff.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
That really escalated quickly dropped up unique New York.

Speaker 7 (07:16):
It did jump up on nothing and you both hit
it on the head. Guys, if I look at Kirk
Cousins and what's the best outcome for him is to
stay in Atlanta, you know, for so many different reasons,
I wish these are the facts. I know Kirk wants
to be a starter. I want to be a starter
in this seat today on May one, twenty.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Five, I wish I was a starter. I wish I was.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
Still running out of that tunnel at in the Super
Bowl super Dome getting ready to take on some opponent.
I wish I was still in a huddle with ten
grown men looking at me and I have a green dot,
and they're hoping that their commander and their general is
going to get them aligned and that I'm going to
put him in the best situation to go against the
other teams.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I wish I could still do that. They could do
that with a crew in here. We could get a
bog machine.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
And you are a starter on the show.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
You know what I'm talking about. Ross.

Speaker 7 (08:01):
It's just different when you go to another city and
you beat that city's team and you jump back on
that plane.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Ride on the way home.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
It is the greatest plane ride ever.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
All of the memories that you're able to create as
a football player, as a player in this league, there's
nothing like it. I wish I could still have that.
Matter of fact, I've had not a lot of people
know this, but after I was done playing football, I
would have the same reoccurring, reoccurring nightmare that I was
in the middle of the field and then I wake
up and why is that a nightmare? Because I know

(08:32):
I'll never ever be able to lace up them cleats again.
Kirk Cousins, you have that opportunity. You can still go
out there on that field and be in the middle
of a huddle as a backup at times. You are
still able to walk off that field. I want you
know what my biggest wish was, Colleen, is that I
was still playing when my kids were alive. Like my kids,

(08:53):
I was done playing by the time my kids came
into this world. I wish that I could run off
the field after a game, look up at a suite
and see my two kids with my wife up there
cheering for me.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I wish I could I could do that. You get
to do that, Kirk. I just think the.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
Best situation is for you to do it in Atlanta,
but it's going to be as a backup, and I
think that's the best outcome for him.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
So this dream that you would have for you alone
on the field, like, what what do you mean?

Speaker 7 (09:18):
So let's the reason why I was a nightmare was
for some reason in this dream, I would get on
the bus or i would make my way towards the stadium,
but I'll never be able to get on the field,
and whatever whatever happened, I just could never get on
the field. And that was why it became a nightmare.
Was when I would wake up, I would realize my
time was over. And that's something that that's the realization

(09:39):
that we all, all of us who played the game
we have to come to grips with is eventually the
game will move on from us. And when it does,
you just got to be ready for when it does.
But you know, according by the question Kirk Cousins, you're
still in the league, man, you still get to create
those memories with you.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
He need to meet the Eagles last year. Guys, he
can still play. He's not on the bus and the
dream like he may be starting this year somewhere he
still got game, Like, Colley, you tell me, like, maybe
we're all wrong about this thing, and maybe he's starting
for Pittsburgh this fall. I have no idea, But we're
waiting on the Rogers thing, right, Well, that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
And how long are the Steelers going to wait at
this point? We heard from Ian Rappaport earlier this week
that the Steelers could be in play. Obviously, we know
that they could sign Cousins if Aaron Rodgers does not
go there. Cousins, of course has that no trade clause too,
and the Falcons it doesn't really incentivize them at all
to move to move Cousins because they.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Don't really at this point.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
The financial situation would stay the exact same for them,
so it doesn't really matter. It's not like they're going
to all of a sudden have extra money. So how
long at this point should the Steelers keep waiting on
Rogers to make up his mind?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Ross?

Speaker 4 (10:47):
They shouldn't be waiting at all anymore. They should have
moved on yesterday or actually before the draft. All Right,
Kyle was too afraid to take any econ classes.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Correct, I tell it, and then dropped it.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Okay, I took several econ classes. Let's talk cost benefit analysis, right, team,
with every decision is making a cost benefit analysis. Huh
for Aaron Rodgers, what is the potential benefit? Okay, what's
the best case scenario with Aaron Rodgers on the Steelers?

(11:18):
Maybe when ah playoff game. I doubt it, by the way,
but maybe win a playoff game. They're not beating the
Bills or the Chiefs or the Ravens with guys like
Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes as well as Lamar Jackson. So
the Steelers are waiting on a guy who, if everything
goes perfectly, they might win a single playoff game.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Meanwhile, what's the negative?

Speaker 4 (11:44):
They're still a year further away from finally figuring out
their long term answer at the position post Big Ben.
Then you have all the weird interviews and everything that
goes along with Aaron Rodgers, which is what he's doing
right now, right like there's.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Always something with Rogers.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
These are the Pittsburgh steel okay, and they're still waiting
for this guy to decide if he wants to play.
By the way, if a guy's waiting this long to
decide whether or not they want to play, they don't
really want to play. I mean, man tis over here,
he's been retired for years. He's having nightmares because he
wishes he could play so bad. I would pay a

(12:23):
lot of money to play one more game high school
so I can really mess some dudes up. Not the NFL,
but I play a lot of money for one more game.
He doesn't want to play. He doesn't really want to play.
I think he wants to stay relevant, so I think
he will play for the Steelers. But this doesn't make
any sense either short term or long term for Pittsburgh
in my mind.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Well, I think it's interested something you hit on here
about this is the Steelers. I've been saying a bunch
of times this week, but also the last couple of weeks.
You can't go into the season and say, like, Mason
Rudolph is our quarterback. We've been around the block with
Mason Roff, we know him, We wrote the book on
Mason Rudolph. If you're the Steelers, you got to do this, this,
and this. I've heard from multiple Steelers fans online, multiple saying,

(13:04):
screw it. I'd rather go to war with Rudolph. He's
one of us, He's a Steeler. Let's take our chances.
Let's play some defense and waiting around for this guy.
That's the difference with Rogers right now. If you go
back two years and he's joining the Jets as a
savior and a messiah. Like that guy and that organization,
they don't really do messiahs. That's why, Like, you know,

(13:26):
the Steelers fans they have a trust fund. They were
born wealthy. They never have to worry about it.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
They're rich. They're spoiled.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
The Jets fans are standing around a barrel fire and
fingerless gloves.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Trying to stay warm.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
That they were like, we would lie down in traffic
to have Aaron Rodgers even glance at them. The Steelers
are like, yeah, I mean we went through this last year.
Didn't the Steelers just bring in a supposed all time
great to come into their team and take them to
the Promised Land. It was like Russell Wilson won and done,
see you later. It's like it never even happened. There
will be a completely different reception if and when Rodgers

(13:59):
even chooses the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
This is not the Jets.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
The Steelers are they're spoiled brats. They're not interested in
you until you can start winning playoff games for them.
So it comes back to this, Rogers is really the
only option out there if you want some sort of
bolt of lightning that quarterback. Otherwise, the draft didn't do
it for you, Free agency didn't do it for you,
unless you're gonna actually say, guys, twenty twenty five, Mason

(14:22):
Rudolph and we think we can finally break this streak
of where we don't win playoff games. It's a very
strange time for a team that usually has all their
bleep together and.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
It feels like we're walking in a dark hallway. Their
hands are tied right now.

Speaker 7 (14:35):
The fact that they didn't go with the links that
we thought they were going to go in the draft
and the offseason. It basically they exposed their hand. They
exposed their hen early in this game. And if you're
going to wait on Aaron Rodgers, you got away as
long as it is going to take at this point
for your Steelers pend KB. You talked about Mason Rudolph.
They know what they're going to get when they go
on to war. They you know, we've been to war

(14:55):
with Mason Rudolph. Yeah, you went to war and guess
what you guys got smacked up the head literally by
the Cleveland Browns and everybody else in that division.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
So we're in.

Speaker 7 (15:02):
This situation where you know what you're going to get
from the guys. You kind of know what you're going
to be. The only guy that you don't know what
you're going to get is Will Howard. So you're kind
of figuring out what what.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Did we get?

Speaker 7 (15:12):
What was it ross that you said cost benefit analysis
or what was that term?

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yes, cost benefit take econ on.

Speaker 7 (15:19):
Obviously in college, so I wouldn't know what that was.
But the facts are the cost benefit analysis. You have
the best chances with Aaron Rodgers as your quarterback, and
that's it.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
So you got to wait.

Speaker 7 (15:30):
If you're the Steelers, you got to wait as long
as as it's going to take.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Oh, that's tough.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
The Steelers are just sitting there waiting for Aaron Rodgers
to text them back, and Aaron Rodgers is just out
here like surveying his options. What can he do at
this point? I don't like the situation that the Steelers
are in.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
That's never good.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
When you're just like looking at your phone every five minutes.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Are they interested?

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Like? No?

Speaker 2 (15:53):
I feel like maybe everyone needs to move on at
this point.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
But Aaron Rodgers has all the.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Power and all the leverage, so we will all just
sit here and wait for him to text us back.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
All right, this is gonna be a really fun segment.
I'm just gonna call my shot. I'm gonna call my
shot like Baber. This is going to be a really
fun segment because we're talking about new.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Players and history.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Really, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign undrafted free agent defensive
tackle Desmond Watson.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Just bring him up.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
He's a Florida Gator, but you've never seen somebody like
this ross.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
I'm gonna let you just cook for a second.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Desmond Watson is four hundred and sixty four pounds. He
is the heaviest NFL player by far. You and I
grew up on people like Sam Adams and Ted Washington
and Keith Traylor. He's like one hundred pounds more than them.
What are your thoughts on Desmond Watson out of Florida?

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Okay, So I played against Ted Washington and Trailer and
I don't know what they were listed at, but when
I was in Cleveland, Ted Washington weighed four hundred pounds.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
So to think that there's a person that's fifty pounds more, yes,
than what Ted Washington.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Was when I went against him.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
I remember the offensive line coach told me to get
low to try to drive him off the ball, and
we all looked at the offensive line coach like you're
kidding right.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Like like that was.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
You're disqualified as an offensive line coach if you say
you're going against Desmon Watson and you say low and
driving back. Listen, hey, coach, I'm holding on for dear life.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
I'm just trying not to get thrown away. I'm not
trying to push him back. I'm trying to pull him
into me so that he can't make the tackle. You know,
back in the day, every team wanted one guy like that.
I don't know, you know, the running games coming back
a little bit. So maybe there is a place for
Desmond Watson because you want that guy that you can

(17:49):
put right over the center.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
He can get either a gap which is between the
center and the guard and just control that area.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Maybe it's Desmond.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Watson, But I won't say this dead Like, let's lose
sixty pounds and let's see what you're like a four hundred.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
You'll still be a big guy. I would have seen
him a five hundred. So they have Desnet Watson. But
here's what's fun.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
They didn't just draft the biggest guy ever or signed
the biggest guy ever.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
They actually brought.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
In a guy who's one hundred and fifty four pounds
as well. This is Tes Johnson out of Oregon. He's
a wide receiver. They took him in the seventh round.
He's one hundred and fifty four pounds one fifty four
and he is one of the lightest players in the
history of NFL.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Since we started. I started measuring this.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
He's fast, he's got great hands, really good player. So
we now, folks have the largest disparity in weight by
teammates in NFL history.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Let's see it.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Tes Johnson won fifty four, Desin Watson four sixty four.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
And we did the math. Three hundred and ten pounds
difference difference.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Oh that's a full NFL offensive lineman.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Different or wit give me the give me the give
me the measuring stick. We did the math on this.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
The weight difference between these two rookie teammates.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Is the full Chris Jones. Chris Jones himself goes three
to ten.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
So if you took Chris Jones and put him on
Tez Johnson's shoulders and stepped on the scale, and they
would weigh Desmond Watson. All right, let's look into a
little bit of this. Let's let's also go further in
with Tampa Bay. So Desmond Watson goes in the goal
line package, he gets a defensive tackle.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
He lines up.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Next to Vitavea four sixty four and three forty seven
for eight hundred and eleven pounds on the d line
without even counting the edge Rushier Russ. Have you ever
met Vitavea. He's stupidly big and he's not even he's
a tennis player.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Compared to Desmond.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Watson, he is gigantic, And that is scary to think
about those two guys being the run stuffing d tackles.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
It's like Washington and.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Trail after the two thousand and one fair. Yes, and
when thirteen and three he went to the playoffs, Jim.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Miller's or boiler affairs exactly right, Dick Daron, rest in peace.
But let's give another way to calibrate the weight total
run the bucks defensive tackles.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
You've seen this for years in the movies. Christian Bale
loves to gain weight and lose weight and gain weight.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
He has only lost and gained six hundred and ten
pounds total. The defensive tackles for the Bucks are eight
hundred eleven pounds. We got the machinist, we got the fighter,
we got American hustle, and then that thing where he
played Dick Cheney. Christian Bale, it's been working another thirty
years losing and gaining weight to catch up with the Bucks.
Now here's back to the football field. So those are
the Bucks defensive tackles. Potentially, if Watson can get on

(20:30):
the field, they're gonna go against the Eagles, maybe in
the playoffs this year. We don't know, it's a year.
It's months from now fields, yes, from now. They're gonna
go against this unlet's it get's banned, which so far
has not. This is the play of mass destruction in
the NFL and certainly the NFC. So let's look at
some of what the Eagles are gonna be bringing potentially
against Tampa Bay.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Let's look at them all right.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
So you got Cam Jurgens, you got Landon Dickerson. This
is a center of guard and then you've got. Of course,
Jalen Hurts if he goes to one way towards the guard,
that's eight fifty eight between Jurgens, Dickerson and Hurtz.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Ross your thoughts.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
He always goes left, by the way, he always goes left.
If you watch, because Landa Dickerson and the guy next
to him, my lot up got two weighs.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Three to eighty.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Those two guys are movers of men.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
So that's what they're up against.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Eight hundred and eleven pounds Ofvea and Watson versus.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Eight point fifty eight of the tush push.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Let's get into something else as long as we're talking
about this, the greatest weight disparity. Yeah, he might be
thinking at home, that's interesting. What's the greatest height disparity
in the NFL. We're going to get in this right now.
We're going to the Cowboys. This is offensive tackle. Matt
would let's go at six' eight And Deuce vaughn at
five to.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Six that's a.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Fourteen we even have a ruler on the, screen all,
right fourteen inch difference that is bigger In hollywood. Circles that.
Difference that was last. Season then in a movie THAT
i didn't see. That apparently probably did, well called central.
Intelligence bring it. Up The rock And Kevin harts difference
five to. FIVE i don't know if he's five five.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
SIX i don't know if he's six'. Four Either the
rock eleven. Inch difference so, you say, all right.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
That's even bigger On. The coboe what's the biggest height
disparity of.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
All time IN? The nfl you believe it. Or not
we go back To the buccaneers in.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Twenty fourteen this was the Record Trendon Holiday crazy runner
OUT of lsu five, to five and Then Big DeMar
dotson at six' nine for a sixteen. Inch height, Disparity,
your thoughts ross do.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
You do this research or do you have LIKE.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
A whole stu we have, An staff Here we're an.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
EMMY nominated show i just show up and read the,
telepromper As always like i've done. For nine years that
is bigger the sixteen inch Difference than. Another hollywood disparity
ross that met you like this Movie Everybody Does.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Forgetting sarah marshall you?

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Ever?

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Seen this, yes All Right so jason sego very tall
also appears full frontal.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
On that movie six it's a different.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Ruler six' four, and then We Have, of course kristen
Bell the voice of elsa From.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Pros and do.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Well that's her now thankfully we put Her Name right
across russell brand's face. Because He's completely canceled as. Judah
is looking on we.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Have a six' four.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
It's a five foot one but go, the all time
height disparity.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
The one you think about the one you go. To bring,
Up the Picture that's it danny. And arnold four to
ten apparently we.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Have him, AT four ten no way i think actually
he might be closer. To the four to eight But
six foot two for, arnold a sixteen INCH difference trumping anything.
The nfl has ever done at least as long, as
we can track it. They are still the standard but
it brings us back to our Guys Before.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
WE go to la ross i. Know one thing about.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
You you're a simple, man you love, your family you,
love football.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
You love food and.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
You just love physical size you are, obsessed with height,
and weight.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
HIGH school.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Players college players nfl, players we have A Massive massive
player in tampa bay And A.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
Tiny player in tampa bay? Does? THAT make you? Giddy,
Sure i love it yes.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
My wife thinks IT'S very weird how often i ask
men how, much they weigh uh huh and, how early
in THE conversation like.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Like if i, Haven't, SEEN you a while coles. I
mean you look? Good, How much you went, yeah and
it'll be like what'd you? Play it like high school what'd?
You play it?

Speaker 1 (24:07):
In college, your senior year bigger. Though we'd shoot man
time you're. A big drink of water what do You
Think of what the tampa? Bay's GOT going on with.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
What i think is If They had one hundred tess
johnson's going, to up against a, Gorilla they would Definitely Lose,
but one hundred desmond watsons you might be able to
Just Get away with fifty, desmond watsons at this point because. That's,
A big, Human being calleen i Know i'm.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Just Shocked That i'm taller than.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Danny DeVito at this point like in the s we, Got,
to get him.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
In dan you got to come in and Go. BACK
to back with. Wolfe, i don't believe it.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
Wow that was a lot of.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
RESEARCH that went into that i don't.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Know who, did it all great, work great, work by,
you amazing STUFF Great Staff the Great A.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Mona lee and desmond watson, we are. Rooting for You
all Right, cider for food For Thought.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Presented by the farmer's dog and this is my longtime
Friend And. Former college teammate ross tucker, in two thousand
and one you made me put down the PlayStation controller
and walk down To The. Basketball court at princeton university
it's a videotape you doing past drop sets.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Because you WANTED, to GO to the, nfl and, I was.
LIKE all.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Right i will i, guess about five minutes Later You.
Are playing from marty schottenhammer you made the. Team as
an Undrafted reveie you were with washington twenty four years
ago when things.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Aren't like they are now now we have, new owner.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
And knew everything new quarterback this sensational season we just
saw as a guy who was. There twenty four years
ago what are your thoughts right now On the state
of the commanders?

Speaker 3 (25:36):
And?

Speaker 4 (25:36):
EVERYTHING they got going, well, i gotta tell you dude
it is the biggest erosion OF a fan base that
i can ever. Remember in any pro sports, so Two thousand,
And one as kyle Mentioned i'm a rookie. In washington
that football team there was a. Huge Season ticket waiting
list FedEx field.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
Was only like.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Three or four years old they just won a playoff
game a Couple Of years Earlier With brad Johnson And
steven Davis And. Steven Alexander and michael westbrooke so i'm
on the team with. A lot of those guys it
was a big deal and it was really cool to
Be a member. Of the washington football team you fast forward.
TO like five years ago I would call games.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
For westwood.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
One or whatever i'm there the, stadium, was like half
full okay and half the people that were there. Were
for the other team so, it's a half full stadium
And half those People were giants fans. Or bears fans
or whatever, my sister and Her, Family. They live in
potomac Maryland they. Never talked about washington football. THEY didn't

(26:36):
care at all i have never seen a bigger erosion
of a, fan base, in my. Life any team any
sport now, they get a new owner. They get a
franchise quarterback now. They're getting a new stadium now My.
Nephew's posting about jayde deem now. THEY'RE fired up about
it i am so Happy for all. Of you washington

(27:00):
football fans you have waited essentially.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Twenty five years for this twenty five.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Years to be able to get excited about. The direction
of your franchise that is the only sport they Care.
The most about in washington they talk about politics And
they talk.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
ABOUT the washington.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
Football team i am thrilled that they actually have. Something
positive to talk about and all those people that haven't
gone to, a game in fifteen years they're all coming
Back and they should because. Washington football finally is back
it fires.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Me up to, hear it it's you know it reminds
me A little bit about. What detroit's had going, On
but in a way washington is its own brand of
exciting because the quarterback is, theirs and they? Drafted him
wasn't it traded and.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
He's only one year In and you look at washington
and you Look at some team like cleveland or that
they so.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Badly want what they have, these great fans were like
you got, to hit on the quarterback. LIKE that's Why
It happened I love dan Quinn. And i love the
norsehip you have, to hit On the quarterback and jayde.
Daniels was a home run You. Also played for The Patriots.
You played with tom brady this. Is early mid two.
Thousands you were right there They Just, released long snapper
joe cardona which Is A huge deal because joe.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Cardon is there's Long.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Snapper he went to Navy He Is the last new
England Patriot that's from the super bowl era when they
Were Getting. To And Winning super bowls so mike vrabel. Has,
a full clean house now what do you make of
the State Of?

Speaker 3 (28:28):
The, NATION in NEW england.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
Well I think i like what rabel's doing in the
sense that he wants to be able to get in
front of that, meeting room right. And say raise your
hand If You've, ever won a super, bowl nobody raises.
Their hand raise your hand if you've, ever won a playoff.
GAME nobody Raises their hand i think rabel wanted a
clean slate And A Break from. The, belichick SUPER bowl

(28:52):
era now do i think You Systematically get rid, Of
David andrews at, Center Jonathan jones at corner. Dietrich WISE
at d line.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Do i think?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
They?

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Did IT on purpose absolutely do.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
I think that that's the RIGHT way to go about
i don't love the mindset of necessarily trying to, get
rid of every guy even if maybe It Made more
sense for david. Andrews TO still be. There but i
get it, it's like. Any other industry especially football they
want to.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Go with their own guys they.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Don't want, any Tentacles, to The Past, to Belichick To,
tom brady. To Super bowls that's over tom brady's. Not
Coming through that door bill belichick's not Coming To that
door unless jordan hudson tells him he. Can go through
the door And so that is why rable. Wanted to
Totally Clean slate.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
That's the rick potato take From. The Same Town in
boston when larry bird's, Not Coming through that door robert parr's.
Not coming through that door it's A Really. EXCITING time
for new england i feel like there are going to
be one of these, teams that in the fall like
they're going to, be a trendy playoff team pick, like
people like the, quarterback people like THE coach.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
You, know what i mean well so what's crazy about
that is right now they are predicted by, the people
that do that and what they got.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
Eight, and a half wins.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
God, SOUNDS like, a LOT yeah i Mean like i think,
the patriots will be better but. Eight and a half wins. That's,
a big step.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Up yeah and people will probably say, the bills will step.
Back as they always do.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
But let's get to it's, KIND of an eye roller.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
I think in twenty twenty five when you hear someone
likes food because It's someone, with some obnoxious instagram Account
and they'll tell you i'm a foodie and the poached
figs with, the bolksamic reduction bull crap all that, you
like just LIKE.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Sandwiches, You know what i mean like the old way we.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Used to talk about food as a guy who was
once in the same dorm room with This Dude six To,
eleven kyler hall, at Princeton.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
He'd be like if ross had like chips and you,
took some of his chips. Like, HE would punch you yeah,
i don't like that really like hard really if you.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Have, To at least ask yeah but if you were
like you were at class and, you CAME back and, like,
who i like ships like it was like.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
There WAS gonna be blood so. I bring that to
you you now.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
KIND of do, this professionally i would say you go
and you do all, of your food of reviews all
of your. Analysis in the Broadcasting booth but every where
you've been, to a, lot, of stadiums college pro whatever
best stadium?

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Food you have, ever eaten by the way what so what?
Are you about to.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Say so you we referenced princid a couple times. That,
we both went through okay imagine my parents' disappointment when people, They,
Meet Say, To them oh ross talker yeah he's the.
Press box, food video.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Guy oh yeah he's.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
The press box video guy like they sent me to
the number one school in the country to be the.
Press BOX food video guy but i am The press box.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Food video my PARENTS have been numbs since i. Was
on the Real world that was twenty you're.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Lucky to be.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
THE press box food guy i could have, been way worse.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Than that and you are so?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
What do?

Speaker 3 (31:44):
You take away All right so It's Hashtag TUCK.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
SPREADS at ross tucker nfl i Could Have Gone with
the tampa bay buccaneers because they. HAVE bananas FOSTER at
halftime i think i set the record in The playoff
game against the rams. A couple of years ago i had.
Seven Bananas fosters at halftime The, cowboys are incredible on
thanksgiving but my. Number, one ranked Tuck Spreads Yeah. It's the,

(32:08):
green bay packers oh really what?

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Do you got a.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Picture, it's a noon game, okay so you get. There
like eight forty, Five they've got not one. They've, got
two omelet guys okay so they got. TWO omelet guys,
UP there i go. AHEAD i crush an omelet i,
GO down on the field i.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Talk to some of. THE guys in.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
The field i come back they have the BEST, salad
Bar in the nfl because. I'm crazy healthy like that
then they always have pulled. Pork, and mac and cheese
okay they, call it pack. And, cheese Very clever whatever
yeah so i'm at this stage of my, Life, That
mac and cheese, Like, i'm not a toddler okay mac
and cheese is a. CONDIMENT or like a topping i

(32:50):
don't eat like mac.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
And CHEESE on its.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Own so i get a big bed OF pulled pork
and then i put the. Mac, and cheese on top, yeah,
like like a topping right because every bite has to
have an equal.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Amount of, Mac and cheese all. Right so. That's the
pregame then halftime.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
It's only like twelve minutes not many mere mortals can
have two brats in twelve minutes and go to the
bathroom and get back and still be able to function
in the second and prepare.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
For your second, half statistics and your analysis do your
work that.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
You're BEING paid.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
To do but i can and they have a bunch of, different,
types of spicy mustard, which as we all know is.
The Best Mustard Like, world so green bay packers because,
you start with the omelet you, get the pack and
cheese you put some salad in there so you feel,
better about yourself that night and. Then at halftime two
brots my number one still my number one ranked PRESS.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Box Food In The nfl the green.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Bay packers Incredibly Well Done We, have commander's Takes los,
angeles we Have Patriots Takes we. Have green bay, packers
food and believe me less. Than twenty four hours, Ago
after THE show yesterday ross and i went to brunch.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
And he ordered an omelet You should hear, this with,
the guy Goes. All right, THIS is ross he's.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Like i want double, ham the guy Goes okay he
goes no ham and.

Speaker 3 (34:05):

Speaker 1 (34:09):

Like god he's got. It he was very aggressful they
said you were allowed.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
THEM he said three things. I, WANTED to double ham
yes i wanted two of the.

Speaker 3 (34:25):

Speaker 3 (34:34):

spade Yes Ross tucker is essentially chris farley in, that
skit when, He's like lay off me i'm starving when.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
He, TRIES, to have, like one, o my god they're
good so good. A diet or something. Starving, That's A
great call.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Yes but, i did want to ask considering, you are
talking about omelets where do the eagles fall in press box?
Food press BOX food rankings because they i had an
omelet STATION that was fire.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
When i was working there, That.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Is a good question colleen they no. Longer have the
omelet station.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
This doesn't look so Hot, this IS this IS eagles
now i would i would.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Say there's still above Average, the, key to the eagles
okay is. The vaunted side snack table. The vaunted side
snack table.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
You know why That's clutch they, Always have philly pretzels
COLLEGE and.

Speaker 4 (35:34):

is the best TO. Go snack in the nfl.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
But are they sourcing these pretzels from a man on
a corner with a shopping cart and a bunch of
random pretzels in a paper bag.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
THAT you pay. CASH for i don't know i think
they might. Be wa wa shout. Out, we'll allow it then.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
