Speaker 3 (00:29):
Who is it?
Speaker 4 (00:31):
Oh? Yeah, so's It's Jordan Davis.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
And you have to decide is it the Philadelphia Eagle
or is it the Country Superstar or is it both?
We may just get crazy and do both of them.
In the meantime, I say we start the show by
talking about the single most pivotal pivot old player in
the NFC.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Who is it? You'll find out right now. It's Good
Morning Football.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
Let's go friends, Good mom football.

Games tonight everybody preseason week one, Let's go Good Morning football,
Jamie Mantai, Kyle Will. That means that on NFL Network
and our friends at NFL Media inside training Camp, which
We've seen everybody reporting everywhere.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
It's t bed. We have done it.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Everyone's been all over the country. Kyle, do you have
a favorite memory from itc of the twenty twenty five era.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yeah, I like when the reporter in the polo shirt
and the really short shorts talked about how hot it
was in camp that one time.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
That's my favorite. I love those men and women.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
I love all the people who did that, crushed it
as always.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Great job best.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
I know exactly the moment you were talking about when
that happened.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Kyle, Well done, but.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
You just tease it in the cold open of our
show in TV talk.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
There is a pivotal player.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
In the NFC North, and some would say it's JJ McCarthy.
The Vikings quarterback will play in the preseason opener against
the Houston Texans on Saturday. The game falls one day
shy of JJ McCarthy making his NFL debut, a contest
in which he, unfortunately this time last year, suffered a
torn meniscus that required season ending surgery. The second year
(02:14):
now signal caller is excited about getting back.
Speaker 6 (02:16):
On the field, feeling the rush and feeling a couple
of hits and bouncing back and having to make those
smart decisions after those hits, and you know, I just
feel like the crowd noise, even though it's at home,
it's still loud in there. All the different little things
that you have to you know, kind of adapt to
as an offense. And you know, it's our first little
(02:37):
test run. So we're extremely excited for it, and it's
definitely high up by my rankings.
Speaker 7 (02:40):
People just think, well, JJ just has to be a
superstar and the Viking is going to be fine.
Speaker 8 (02:45):
Well, I just think you look at the quarterback development
philosophy when you go through, you know, just around the
league and in the past, I think sometimes there's not
enough emphasis put on the other ten guys in the
huddle or the schematics and the philosophy of said unit.
It's just what can the quarterback do to take us
to where we want to go?
Speaker 9 (03:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (03:04):
I happen to believe that we all play a role.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Here's the unfortunate irony about JJ McCarthy now starting.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
For the Minnesota Vikings was, as we.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Just mentioned, when it happened this time last year, there
was hope, there was optimism because it was the unknown.
Then we go out and watch the Vikings win fourteen
games at the hands of Sam Darnold. Donald's not there anymore, Kyle.
So when Kevin O'Connell says, you have to look at
the entire team and in hopes that they reach the
same success with JJ McCarthy, now it almost feels like
there has a stress and attention because the expectation has
(03:35):
been set by the departed quarterback. So does Koc have
the same success Kyle with JJ as he did.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
With Sam Donald.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Nobody has a better shot than Koc. I mean, this
is why you have this coach. He has a really
impressive resume. And listen, he's seen them all. He's seen
all types at young quarterback, and he's had a lot
tougher assignments than JJ McCarthy. O'Connell was coaching Johnny Manzel
when he came into the league, all right. He has
coached Klin Kaepernick very unique skill set. He coached Dwayne Haskins,
(04:06):
young raw talent out of college. He's seen it all,
and now he's seen JJ McCarthy, who is not a
rookie and who has very well been very well coached
through college.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Ever he's had it.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
This is not the toughest assignment that Kevin O'Connell has
ever had.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
And I also think I think it's going to.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Be tough for JJ because I think JJ McCarthy is
going to be an easy target in the media. In fact,
we've already seeing some of that in the preseason. You
have someone who is replacing someone successful that's never easy,
who was just very famous in college, he was a
high draft pick, all these things that people like to.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Tear down and pick ats.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
I also think when Kevin O'Connell stresses we have to
look at every other player in the huddle, well, one
of the most important players is not going to be
in that huddle. Jordan Addison has suspended for three games.
That is a really important weapon for JJ McCarty as
he finds us footing, especially since in those first three games,
two of them are in prime time. One is against
the Bengals. McCarthy will probably have to throw a lot
(05:04):
in that game. And Jordan Addison had almost one hundred
catches last year. That is a big, big deal for
a guy trying to just get his feet wet and
get a few wins start.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
The season two and one. It's actually a massive deal.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
So I think it's maybe not going to be the
best start for JJ McCarthy, not just because he hasn't
been experienced, he doesn't have one of his best players,
and the media is going to be coming for him.
The keenan McCarthy this year, I think for himself, for O'Connell,
and really for us in the media and the fans,
is just take a break and if he's not fantastic
right out of the gates, or if they do start
one and two, let's see how he's doing in October
(05:37):
and November, because this is a tenured, smart, tough guy
who will adjust. I just worry that right out of
the gates, prime time at Chicago, Caleb all that, like,
it's a lot of pressure early on without one of
his best weapons. I wouldn't be placing bets that he
comes out and starts lighting it up all up and
down the field.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
But just wait on him, because he's been there and
I think he will be there in the end.
Speaker 10 (05:59):
Yeah, they're in completely different situations. I look at Sam
Donald came into this situation callous like he was, you know,
went through the Jets like the disaster they're dealing with that.
Then going to Carolina, another situation where just from a
whole entire building, like it was crazy there and I
mean he had what four to five different offensive coordinators
and then obviously going to Sam France and kind of
(06:20):
be able to sit back and really watch and relearn.
And then when you went to Minnesota, he was already
in a situation where he's like he dealt with so
much adversity and he was kind of like, I'm playing
with house money and I'm gonna go get it. So
I think in this situation where Sam was, he had
success because of who he is. And you hit it
right on the head, Colin, in terms of like what
Jaj McCarthy's doing, this is his own journey, this is
(06:41):
his own story is going to be completely different, and yeah,
we're gonna take a one day at a time and
his success is going to be his success based on
what he does. So I don't think it's gonna be
the same as Sam Donald just because of where they
were mentally and also career wise.
Speaker 7 (06:56):
But well, you said that Sam Donald had four to
five Oh scenes, well, Kevin O'Connell coached about four to
five quarterbacks.
Speaker 9 (07:03):
In this time for the Minesota Vikings.
Speaker 7 (07:05):
So the question is, well, Kevin O'Connell have the same success. Now,
Kevin O'Connell, ever since he got hired in twenty twenty two,
he went thirteen and four with Kirk Cousins. Now twenty
twenty three comes along, he goes seven and ten. But
remember in twenty twenty three he had three different quarterbacks.
Kirk Cousins tears his achilles, Nick Mullins gets in there,
and Joshua Dobbs gets in there. I remember when Joshua
(07:25):
Dobbs went there, everybody was called the astronaut and he
had those epic games for the Minnesota Vikings. And then
twenty twenty four comes along, and not to mention, in
twenty twenty three, Justin Jefferson had a hamstring and then
he heard his ribs against the Raiders. So that twenty
twenty three squad went seven and ten with all those
factors in place, twenty twenty four Sam Darnold fourteen and three.
Speaker 9 (07:47):
So what I'm trying to say is.
Speaker 7 (07:48):
Kevin O'Connell, when you listen to his interview, he's talking
about the parts around JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 9 (07:54):
That's the system.
Speaker 7 (07:55):
He's created a system and a cast with the other
ten guys on the field that usually sets up a
quarterback to be successful. But to kb's point is this
is he isn't a rookie quarterback anymore. However, he still
hasn't played a live snap, So let's keep the expectations down.
Let's let him perform, let's let him make his mistakes.
(08:15):
But with Kevin O'Connell at the helm ever since twenty
twenty two, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 9 (08:19):
Really who's the quarterback.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Good things are going to happen for the Minnesota Vikings,
so I expect the same thing.
Speaker 9 (08:24):
It's just a matter of win.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
It's hard not to look back before we get to
the next question. I read this fascinating thing that took
Manti to your point. When you look at just recent
years of the Vikings. The expectation of the twenty twenty
four Vikings was just six and a half wins. It
was like they didn't know what.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Was going on a quarterback. They jumped to fourteen.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
It was actually the biggest jump of preseason win total
expectation versus what was put out on the field. The
other two teams to have done that in such significant
improvement were the.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Two thousand and four Steelers.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Ben Roethlisberger's first year where they make it to the
playoffs after being expected to win seven and a half games,
they win fifteen. And then Kyle the twenty fifteen Panthers,
which I can't place. I was needed in the SEC
at the time. So the eight and a half win
expected Panthers go to fifteen wins. What happened with those
teams in the next.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Couple of years, Well, the twenty fifteen Panthers were a sensation.
That's that's Cam Newton MVP stuff. That's everybody introducing the dab.
That is a Ron Rivera and Sean McDermott defense. That's
the craziest team. They didn't They didn't have any real
wide receivers that were a threat. They had a running game,
they had Cam, they had Greg Olsen, and they damn
near won the Super Bowl. That I understand the comp
(09:32):
of preseason expectations, Like whatever JJ McCarthy does this year,
he could be great, he's not gonna be twenty fifteen
Cam Newton, like nobody's twenty fifteen Cam Newton.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
That was a true sensation.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
And even the other example you brought up, which is
a good one too, Roethlisberger rookie year Hall of Famers
on defense, that's still Bill Kawer, like just a crazy,
crazy Steelers team of yesteryear. If this team's gonna win
like we're in the North, are there going to be
a lot of love and picks for the Vikings to
make the playoffs this year?
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Isn't even gonna pick them to win the North.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
It's daunting as hell, it really is, because we just
know so little about McCarthy in the NFL field. We
know a lot more about Caleb and he's only played
one year. So great coach, great receiver, some really good players.
We'll see when the rubber meets the road a month
from now. How many of us in the media really
believe in the Vikings? I will say this last year,
(10:22):
I thought the twenty twenty four Vikings were the number
one story of the regular season, the number one most unexpected,
the coolest story. No one thought Sam Donald was going
to play like that. No one thought they would put
together that kind of record. So I think it's a
little bit unfair to compare McCarthy and Donald. Sam Donald's
been around for years. To Will's point, he started a
(10:42):
lot of games and seeing a lot of football with
a lot of different coaches before he took over the Vikings.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
JJ's green. JJ has not been touched.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
It is not at apples the apples comparison Sam Donald's
for all his faults and there are many super experienced
quarterback JJ.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Not at all.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
So if they start out it's like, well, Donald put
up these numbers, that will happen. It's unfair, but it
will happen because the Vikings willingly chose to move on
from Donald, when if they really wanted.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
To, they could have brought him back. I think they
made the right choice.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Sam Donald showed some cards at the end of the
season that were not good. They believed in JJ, but
he better prove him right. Because yes, the comparisons will
be there, even though they're not totally apples to apples.
Speaker 10 (11:26):
Yeah, I agree in terms of like, the comparisons will
be there, but they'll be different because even the quarterbacks
that Manti mentioned like they were all I guess somewhat rentals.
Jaj's not gonna be compared to a Vikings legend. It's
not like when Okay far Of left and Aaron took over.
You know, it's not going to be like that. So
it's gonna be a situation where he's gonna have his
own story. Sure, they're going to be like, man, we
(11:47):
just had a hell of the season last year, we
went fourteen and three.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
We want to bring that back.
Speaker 10 (11:52):
Can JJ come in and replicate that?
Speaker 9 (11:54):
Sure?
Speaker 10 (11:55):
But I think in terms of like what Jaj's gonna do,
it's gonna be his own story. He's again, he's not
replacing somebody legendary. He's still going to be in a
situation where he can do his own thing. So comparison
will be there in terms of, like overall team successful,
I don't think so with the quarterbacks.
Speaker 7 (12:09):
Well, the quarterback situation is going to be something to
look at. Now when you talk about Sam Donald, I know,
you know, Will you said it wasn't legendary, but it
had to be something good enough to get them three years,
one hundred zero point five million dollar contract, you know.
So that's just going to show like what type of
year that Sam Donald had for the Minnesota Vikings. But
when you're comparing the two, I think that'll be unfair
for us to compare the twenty twenty five Sam Donald
(12:32):
because he's a totally different scheme, totally different team.
Speaker 9 (12:35):
So there's gonna be a lot.
Speaker 7 (12:35):
Of comparisons to the twenty twenty four Donald and I
think that's right for people to compare two Why because
it's the same team, it's the same weapons. A matter
of fact, those weapons might be even better because if
you remember TJ. Howkinson and Aaron Jones, that was their
first year with the Minnesota Vikings last year. Now it's
year two, year two in the same system, same coaches,
same everything. So there's gonna be some carryover, and I
(12:56):
think they hit the road with a little bit of momentum.
I'm going into this year just because it's the second
second year for a lot of guys.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
I know a lot of Vikings fans a lot.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
I don't know a single one. At the end of
last season, they're like, bring Donald back. Bring Everyone was
ready for JJ. Listen Sam Donald. I love him as
a guy and.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
As a player.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
There's a lot of things he showed at the end
of that season that made Vikings fans say, I think
we can move on now. There were some big throws
and some big games that looked like maybe they were
a little bit too big. Okay, it's not like this
is some born and bred Viking to your point, guys,
it's a rental that they brought in like the other
teams before brought in.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Great job, great season, Move on.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
There should be no scar tissue, no emotional longing for
Vikings fans.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
For Sam Donald. He was here for nine months or
something like that.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
JJ is the future, born and bred, drafted by the Vikings,
and honestly, let's get ahead of this. If he does
stumble out of the gates because he has a tough
schedule and his number two receiver is missing, let's not
just make the stupid blame feeble stack bestack comparison.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Well, Sam Donald was doing it last year.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Sam Donald was never going to be there long term,
and they never should have been.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
This is the guy.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
He'll find his way and as nothing is, his career
is going to amount to a lot more than what
he watchs from the bench. As Sam Darnold played in
twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Well, it begins again this weekend preseason game one for
the Vikings.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
They are hosting the Texans.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
You'll see JJ McCarthy and a slew of other options
on both sides of the ball for this team. We
had a decision to make in the commercial break to
kick it or to go for two.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
It's time to go for two.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
On GMFP, Mike Rabel said that he wants intensity from
his team and listen. It's one thing to say it
and then it's another thing to reach it and practice it.
At the Patriots Commander's joint practice yesterday, Brabel jumped into
a training camp scrum to break it up and inherent
blooding his face as a result. His quarterback Drake May,
loved what he saw from his coach.
Speaker 11 (14:44):
That's what we're trying to build, I think, and it
starts with the coach. Starts with the head coach. The intensity.
Bring it every day. You'll take a no, you know,
right there on the field. But also it comes to
a time where with our guys offensively and get over
there and get some tussles and kind of have some
penoties and extra after the whistle can get us some trouble.
But for mentality, I like it. I think that's what
you want me. I almost got in there, but I
(15:05):
think maybe another day maybe.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
So see he's so North Carolina's tussels.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Rabel joke to May that the team will review the
film of coaches scuffle later on guys when you see
a coach do that when he preaches something but actually
gets engaged in the action and the practice. Does that
make you want to play and fight for a coach
like that even more?
Speaker 7 (15:24):
I don't know why Drake said, he almost like if
I saw my head coach charging, Bro, I'm going head first,
like I'm probably going to beat you to the scrum,
like I think. I think of the movie Remember the Titans,
when Julius tells Bertier attitude reflects leadership, captain, Like, that's
that's the attitude, that's the leadership you want. That's what
we expected from Mike Brabel after all of his not
even his coaching days, but his playing days with the Patriots.
(15:46):
You saw how you played and how you led. So
when I'm thinking about a true leader, look at the
guy he's He's in all the walkthroughs, he's in all
the individual drills. He's putting on the vest with his
own linemen and allowing himself to be punched in the face.
Like that's something that I love to see. If I'm
a player for Mike Brabel, there's nothing I wouldn't do
for you, Mike. So Drake may get up in there,
bro dive up in there.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
I don't care.
Speaker 9 (16:07):
Just get in.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
There, man, tyd. This is the time of year. We
need to hit somebody else. Right, we're in trying to
get we're tied of fighting each other. We're going to
hit somebody else.
Speaker 10 (16:16):
When I when I saw Coach Raber do this, I'm like,
of course you would. All the reasons you mentioned. He
wants to get in the mix. Yeah, I don't mind
my coach doing that. But I was a type where
if I saw a fight, like, I'm not going to
get in there. I'm basically it reminds me of like
Chris Tucker and Rush all right, he walks up looking
for juntile. He gets kicked in the face and he's like.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Who hit me? Who hit me?
Speaker 10 (16:33):
And for me, That's why I never really got into
the mix.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
If there was a.
Speaker 10 (16:36):
Fight that broke out, I'm looking, I'm watching, I might
go get gator ay Jamie, Like, I'm not. I'm not
getting in there.
Speaker 9 (16:42):
I don't. I don't want to.
Speaker 10 (16:43):
I don't want to get hit for no reason though,
you know what I mean, the same reason why Like
if I'm out and there's a fight breaker, I'm getting
out of there. I am not jumping in the mix.
I'm not trying to break it up. I was at
Boston College and there was a fight with Donovan Ezaraku
and Quit Hudgerson on our other defensive end, and it
literally went from the field into another room. These guys
are six four six' five two fit.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
D two seventy.
Speaker 10 (17:05):
Apiece no, Thanks i'm not getting in the MiGs handle.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Himself, yeah will you look like you're not getting in the?
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Mix it pretty face like that you don't want to
mess any of that.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
Stuff, dude that doesn't surprise me at.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
All what does that say about?
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Mantidn manti looks like he would get in the.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Fray amantia apps face covered by a.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Beard as we, know he doesn't give a.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Damn The amanti is a, linebacker a little different. Mentality
BUT i bet you, know like when this story comes
out that That rabel's in there getting punched and, bloody
you know how JEALOUS i Bet Jim harball is he
wants this so, bad like he wants to mix it.
Up so Watch Jim harball run into a fight today
just to get.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
Punched he want to.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
BACK i also think it's a teaching moment, though For,
vrabel like guys back to high. SCHOOL i, MEAN i
feel like the coaches would always, say like when when
something breaks out or if there's a skirmish after the
game or in the handshake, line always have that helmet.
On don't take your helmet. Off you want to have
your helmet, on unless you one of Those maniactus starts
swinging your. Helmet but, Listen Mike brabel doesn't have a.
(18:03):
Helmet he know better than. This and something tells me, That,
LIKE i Bet mike really liked. This all these THESE
x player, coaches especially the ones like, him they like.
Coaching they loved. Playing they miss it so. Much they
missed the, juice they missed the, contact they missed the.
VIOLENCE i Bet brabel absolutely love. This And moist of
course tell his players that he did something, dumb BUT
(18:24):
i bet he loved his favorite part of training.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
CAMP i know Recently rabel said that he will not
dare touch being a member of the media when he's done,
coaching BUT i am kind of disappointed that he didn't
show up at his podium just with that drop of
blood coming down his.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
CHEEK i need the, footage coach.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Moving on and going for Two as for the REIGNING afc,
champs The Kins City chiefs are looking to move beyond
Their Super bowl fifty nine, loss and they're tight End Travis,
kelcey he's already let.
Speaker 12 (18:47):
It go.
Speaker 13 (18:51):
In your. Mind, no, Man i'll throw that thing in the.
TRASH i moved.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
On when did that moment sort of occur for?
Speaker 13 (18:56):
YOU i oh, KNOW i haven't thought would have it
sooner than. Then you can. IMAGINE i was pretty focused
on this year in the.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Off, season all, Right so none of us have played
in a Super, bowl just, Kidding will Has we are
not actively playing in the Super bowl right. Now so
if we have a, take our Super bowl is every
day on the, show we just throw.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Takes out on the.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Right so if you have a take that you would
want to throw in the, trash because they're not all winners, Sometimes,
will what's a take that you've said recently on the
show that you want to throw in the trash the
Way kelsey's done with The Super?
Speaker 10 (19:27):
Bowl, Yeah i'll Say i'd taken very few l's WHEN
i made some, takes but there.
Speaker 9 (19:32):
Was one that was.
Speaker 10 (19:33):
Horrendous, well it was one horrendous AND i, said, listen
taking very few.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
L's i'm pretty legit. Here there was one.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
HERE i set the segment on leading with.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Humility we're taking a take that we're throwing in the.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Trash it doesn't matter if you.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Haven't taken might we might revisit, This but, ANYHOW i
was incredible well in trying to answer what take you
would throw in the?
Speaker 4 (19:57):
Trash you gave us a take on the. Trash That's
that's What i'm. Saying might be another, one the other.
Speaker 10 (20:05):
One listen HERE i, SAID i said a couple of
years ago that The broncos And russ in twenty twenty
three would be just, fine AND i was dead wrong
because on, paper when When Sean payton arrived And russ
was there after having Coach, Hackett i'm, like, okay this is.
Legit this is we got a guy, like we got
a culture set, up we Got russ and kind of
(20:27):
find out he never Liked russ and so that just did.
It he got bench from crying out. Loud so y'allo too. Funny,
Yeah so.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
That was my one of my few.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
L's he had to go back so far to twenty
twenty THREE.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
I did since, then ye. Yes Also Jamie man like
bring us this.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Tweetback could you at least give us a little flourish
or some pros or some. BACKGROUND i, mean this is
like the most, spartan bare bones. Tweet will be, fine
will how many lass you had when you tweeted this?
Speaker 4 (21:00):
LISTEN i was just boomed flat out. There that's why it.
Was it was just. THERE i just threw.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
It he's so, confident and when he's going to be,
right he doesn't even put punctuation.
Speaker 7 (21:07):
In no need, no no need for, that no need for.
THAT i don't got to go that. FAR i don't
got to because mine just happened like two weeks.
Speaker 9 (21:15):
Ago and, okay SO i did a.
Speaker 7 (21:18):
List it was a top five most underrated players, list
k AND i did it right over, there And jamie knows.
THIS i love my, Job, OKAY i really. Do LIKE
i come in, Here i'm, Happy i'm. Energetic but AFTER
i did that list with those five amazing individuals that
you see, THERE i came back to this seat AND
i was quiet as a.
Speaker 9 (21:38):
Mouse, guys And jamie knows. This we've gone to know
each other very very. Well i'm not that. Quiet LIKE
i like to.
Speaker 7 (21:43):
TALK i like to have a good time And jamie
just did one of those slow turns to me and
she was, like you're, good, Bro like.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
She KNEW kb that something was, up AND i just
ship my.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
BRO i bombed his livery wasn't the.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Best, Yeah, LIKE i.
Speaker 7 (22:01):
Bombed that thing so, BAD, Kb LIKE i came back,
HERE i was, QUIET i didn't say, anything AND i
just see in my Pariffs. JANE i want to her
chair towards me and she's, like you're, good, bro And
i'm like, No she's like.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
You're, Fine you're.
Speaker 9 (22:14):
Fine that was that.
Speaker 7 (22:15):
One throw it in the, trash LIKE i bunk it
if you want.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
To we were.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
That this is why this show is so, Good. Kyle
the question was what take do you want to throw
in the in the? Trash wills was from three years.
Ago manti is from two weeks, ago but it wasn't
even his. List he likes his. List he hated his.
Delivery he wants every sement.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Because that just got paid that whole.
Speaker 9 (22:33):
SEGMENT i wanted to toss that thing in the. Trash that's.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Right we do this every, day so you're just dilute the.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
Market, well so, listen it's it's, Philosophical.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Manti you're saying the content was there and the delivery
was not what you, wanted so that's why you regret.
It for, me mine is the delivery was, fine the
content is. Terrible AND i have a piece of. Videotape
this is from last. Season now we know that last
season The Philadelphia eagles finished as this incredible playoff. Team
the year before they did. Not the year before they
(23:03):
completely died on a. Vine at the end of the
twenty three, season we're smacked around by The bucks in
the playoffs and.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Done ending on a losing streak goes really.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Bad so when they lost the game early on in
the twenty twenty four season With saquon To, ATLANTA i
went in with an irresponsible take that is aged horribly.
Here it is, lastly, lastly this Mor we gotta stop
talking about The eagles as if They're Super bowl. Contenders
they're not one in one in my, mind they're two and.
Speaker 14 (23:28):
Seven that goes back to last. Year great job In, brazil.
Amazing if they played all their games In, brazil they'd
win The Super. Bowl when they come back To North.
America they really don't win, games and they haven't for
a long.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
Time it's not a new. Problem this is not a
week two.
Speaker 14 (23:41):
Thing it's a week eighteen, seventeen sixteen, fifteen going back
to last.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Year so not all is. Lost you're one in.
Speaker 9 (23:47):
One It's.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
September we've got to change some.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Things we're just gonna be puking and the gutter again next.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Week cure the hangover.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Now, yeah one of the most dominant teams of the
last twenty five years went on to win A Super bowl,
blowout The chiefs two thousand yard. Rusher see, Man. Sime
my delivery was, fine the content was. Garbage SO i
think that you're better to have good content and poor.
Delivery BUT i want to bring this full, Circle, JAME
i have a question for. You so we started off
(24:13):
Showing Travis kelcey, saying, OH i threw that disaster of
A Super bowl in the, trash AND i moved on
from really. Quickly don't you find it interesting that is
the way he handles his setbacks and, shortcomings and yet
his significant other takes setbacks in her, life, personal, professional
otherwise and does them in perpetuity for years and years
(24:34):
to come and relives them in front of millions of
people and uses. Them that is a completely different philosophy
on how to handle the rough things in life your
thoughts as A.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Swiftie, well you, know she.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Has said in interviews in the past that, like don't
you want me to stop writing songs about the terrible
ways in which you broke up with me or bad
things that happened to, me then stop doing the terrible
things to. Me so it's almost like this self fulfilling
prophecy of, like if you want me to stop using
you as, material stop giving me the. Material so Perhaps
Travis kelcey in some, way shape or formance trying to
(25:06):
embody that he wants to put it in the, trash
LIKE i.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
Need to stop doing that to.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Myself perhaps he's saying The chiefs did you know they
were their Own achilles heel in The Super? Bowl so
like they just need to move on from. It but
if he needs any material or motivation for moving, on
he can just go look at his significant other's Vast
grammy winning catalog as to how to have motivation to
move on with your.
Speaker 9 (25:26):
LIFE i need to make a song about.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
It.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
SEE i pictured them talking about The Super bowl and
like she's, like are you still feeling?
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Bad? Babe and he's, like, NO i forgot about that
and the second it was over and she's, like, no, no,
no you should make a.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Documentary exec produce a documentary about that terrible loss to
The chiefs and play it over and over and. Over
that's HOW i get.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Down well That kelsey's knowing.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Them they probably are doing, that and that's just a
way for Our travis to have created the sound body.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Like it's already in the worst.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Style and let's be, honest you'll be at the premiere
because we know that you roll like that In New York.
Speaker 1 (25:56):

Him so no, doubt that's what you guys do when
you get a new head.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Coach it's always, exciting especially when LIKE i don't know
if they're gonna win or not, yet but like the offense.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Should be pretty. Good so that's something to be fired up.
Speaker 12 (27:27):
About that's, like you, know there's still a lot of
talent down. There you, Know camar is still fun to,
watch and who knows man, like you, know maybe this
is the guy you. Know but it's a tough division
and we're gonna have To we're just gonna take, it take,

Speaker 12 (28:07):

though SO i had to go back to. Mine but,
yeah unfortunately that was one of the highlights of the
season last. Year but you, know, hey ups and, downs
we'll see how it goes this.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Year, well, look ain't and Of Road tour is going
to go. Incredibly we're going to talk about. It but you're,

Speaker 12 (28:39):
I, mean and to be honest with, you as a sports, better,
YEAH i had known About jaden for a little while
because you, know sometimes you got to bet those late
Night West coast. Games talk about. It it was when
he was still At Arizona, STATE i think as a. Freshman,
YEAH i remember being, like, dude this guy can. Sling hell.
Yeah and so when we picked him, UP i was,
(29:00):
excited BUT i had no clue he would have the
career that he had AT. Lsu and to be honest with,
you even last year In washington like, that that kind
of floored. Me incredible, talent but, LIKE i, mean that's
a that's a top five quarterback right, now of.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
COURSE i, mean like that's one of the greatest rookie
seasons of all. Time riddle me. This let's say this,
year this is. POSSIBLE i guess this year The Super.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Bowl which has been playing In San, francisco Is Bengals
Commanders Burrow, jaden where's that heart Going Jordan.
Speaker 12 (29:31):

that twenty NINETEEN lsu, team the one That burrow.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
Led BUT i mean that's that's a win win.
Speaker 12 (29:41):
There BUT i, mean, yeah to see two two Ex
tigers go out and The Super bowl will be pretty.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
SMOs i'm not a better, myself but you could probably
find some decent odds On commanders.
Speaker 13 (29:50):
BACK i.
Speaker 9 (29:51):
WOULDN'T i wouldn't rule it out for.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Sure this guy would be into.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
THAT i was messing with the audience earlier BECAUSE i was, saying,
Oh Jordan davis is coming, On Jordan, davis just like
