Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Welcome to dog Good Morning Football, everybody. We are brought
to you by our favorite meet in the bag, Old
Trapper beef Jerkey. What if somebody gave out Old Trapper
at Halloween? I think that'd be kind of sweet. Somebody
should do that and get back to us. It serves
the October thirtieth. I'm Jamie here at all. I'm Antiteo
as always here in La Kyle Brandt and Mike Caro folor.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
In New York.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Oh do you guys look so serious and Frownie.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
I was just considering ringing the doorbell and saying, sure, treat,
and they give.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
You Tarioki beef turkey.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
I think it's a wonderful snack. It's good and high
end protein. But I don't think the kids would want
that necessarily.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
Right, If you're good at I mean, if you're gonna
do it, you gotta dress like the old Trapper man.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Oh yeah, who is basically just Jason Kelsey, Right, So
that's what we should do. But Jamie, it's always a
good idea, and we have some treats right here. We're
gonna get into right now because it is Halloween Eve.
So let's rock and roll, good morning and good and
plenty football.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Welcome to Good Morning Football presented by Old Trapper. That's right,
gmcpe everybody on a Thursday, which means we have throw
down this hour. We're going to look back later this
hour and we're going to talk quarterbacks all in the
next sixteen minutes. So buckle in, Jamie Manti, Mike G
and Kyle Mike G and Kyler in New York. Let's
rock throw Down Thursday. It is three topics. You must
(01:33):
make a choice. We begin with that robot laying on
the ground and topic number one. Sometimes the best advice
you get.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Is from your family members.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Bill's quarterback Josh Allen is no different, as he recently
spoke to the media about.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
A phone call that he got from his grandmother.
Speaker 6 (01:49):
You know, my grandma called me.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
He was like, I just want to see you smile.
Speaker 6 (01:51):
You know, So get back to some of that and
you know, in practice, making sure that we're really emphasizing,
you know, we score, let's go, let's go celebrate. Right,
It's hard to score in this league. It's hard to
win in this league. You know, I feel like that
again helps build the team too, when you're taking an
extra fifteen second star practice to go celebrate and pick
somebody up and have alignment spike the ball. So that's
(02:14):
why we're gonna get back.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
To respect to what your elders tell you to do.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
But like if somebody one of your peers says like
just smile more, You're like, leave me alone. But if
it's your grandma, you say, okay. Final Listen, the Chiefs
and the Bills have both been sidetracked at times this season.
I mentioned this yesterday for the first time ever. In
their two matchups with Mahomes and Josh Allen. Both teams
are not leading their division. It's mostly they're at number
one A and B in the AFC East and West.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
However, that is not the case.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Which of these two teams has you smiling more right now?
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Mansai? Is it Kansas City or Buffalo?
Speaker 7 (02:46):
I got to go with Kansas City for me, Jamie specifically,
Patrick Mahomes has made me smile. Why because he made
me grin last year when I watched him run the
football a few times. We have a what's your beef
segment sometimes on this show, and that was my biggest
beef is watching him run around and flop everywhere and
try to get penalties and calls.
Speaker 8 (03:03):
Like this was last year.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
This is just a.
Speaker 7 (03:05):
Confirm these were clips from last year, so we've got
to see that. That stuff just just really irked me.
And then this year he's running the ball and I'm
just surprised that he hasn't been on our Anger Run
Scepter list because the way that he's been running.
Speaker 8 (03:19):
Guys like this is Patrick Mawa.
Speaker 9 (03:20):
This is the same guy, arguably one of the best
players to ever play the game, and he's running this way.
And then we got to see against the Giants at
lateral pass where he runs over.
Speaker 8 (03:30):
There, gets the ball back.
Speaker 7 (03:32):
Patrick Mahomes has made me smile in the way that
he's been running the football, commanding his team, but just
being physical for the Kannesse City Chiefs. So Mike ge
I got to go with the chief specifically.
Speaker 8 (03:42):
Oh that was a nice one, Patrick Mahome.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
Yeah, part of me makes me think he's setting up
for the okie doke and he's going where he gets
touched and it's just foo flying into the first row.
Yes for when he needs that extra fifteen. We'll see
it's the Bills for me, and it's the Willem Defoe meme.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Smile where he's in the.
Speaker 8 (04:05):
Happy is he angry?
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Is he said? Has he lost his damn mind?
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Because I look at this Bills team and I see
the way the games have gone this year, the Ravens
and then that little two game sputter before the bye
week where they lost to the Patriots and they lost
to the Falcons, Like, how do you go into Atlanta
and needing it, bounce back and you just have that
kind of performance. I just feel like this Bills team
is setting up for another either spectacular finish as in
(04:30):
the finish we've been waiting for them to finally get
back to the super Bowl, or a spectacular loss in
spectacular fashion.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
I don't know what's coming, but I know it's going
to be entertaining.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
So I've got that big year to ear grin on
my face that you can't see because we just cut
the beer.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
All of the cheeks. There, Oh, the Bills are in there,
there they go there. There are so many will In
Defoe memes.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
There's the whole I'm a bit of a scientist myself,
and there's other things. I'll go through the green Goblin mass.
I'm smiling mixues the Bills. I think I'm smiling, though
in a little bit of a paternal way, like you
would at your child when they show you like a
stick figure drawing or a mac necklace.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Say that's a nice, great job, is it? Ne hear?
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Does this game not mean much? I hate to say
that CBS hasn't the late window. I work for CBS.
It's a very big deal. Follow me though. The Bills
four and oh versus the Chiefs in regular season zero
to four in the postseason.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
We do this every single year. It feels like they.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Played the Chiefs, they beat the Chiefs, and then they
play the Chiefs again and they lose to the Chiefs.
It's almost like you want them to switch it up
and the Bills actually lose this game, and then maybe
it'll flip on the backside. So listen, history tells us
that Buffalo coming off scoring forty points and Josh Allam's
grandmother time to smile, will probably win this game as
well as Kansas City's playing. As much as we say
(05:42):
they're back, they're back, they'll probably win. And then we'll
see this sometime in January. I hope it's not, because
it's boring and it's repetitive. But if we have learned
one thing about this rivalry is that this is how
it goes. It is totally binary. You take the regular season,
we take the postseason. So the Bills could win this
game six to nothing or they could win it.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Forty to two.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
It still has this whole way to good for you,
nice job. Let's see you in a couple months when
you know we'll be playing. And I'm not speaking for myself,
for the Chiefs fans, Bills fans are feeling like that
they will not be throwing a party after this game
if and when they win, and neither of what Bills players.
They're still a date with destiny coming. So it's a
big game in the late window for CBS. But it's
kind of like if Buffalo wins, Pat on.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
The head, great job, Kyle.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
I'll borrow a phrase that you completed after the first
week when it was Ravens Bills, and you said, this
is like, it was a great game, but it was
not a lot of stakes. And I feel like that's
still the case for the Bills in late October. Moving
on to this second topic of Throwdown Thursday. We've been
looking at JJ McCarthy's return for the Vikings and that
he's a big question mark in that year two quarterback class.
(06:47):
Six guys drafted in twenty twenty four. But Drake May
and Bonix are great to watch. They have been quite
impressive in their sophomore seasons. May actually recently spoke about
keeping in touch with guys from that draft, in particular Bonicks.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Yeah, I mean I got to know a lot of them.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
Really will I think shot a train with Bo Knicks,
you know, a train with them for the draft.
Speaker 8 (07:07):
You'll stay in touch with him. You know he's playing,
He's playing.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Great, indeed he is.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
The Broncos are playing the Texans this weekend in Houston,
so we'll see how that fares for the Broncos as
they sit at six and two. Here comes the question
for Drake May and Bo Nicks. Which quarterback between these
two are better set up for a postseason one in
their sophomore season.
Speaker 7 (07:29):
Man time, Well, if you're looking at both of these teams,
they're both sitting on top of their divisions.
Speaker 8 (07:33):
That's number one. But I got to go with Drake
Man and the Patriots.
Speaker 7 (07:36):
Guys, like what happened between My question is what happened
between Week three and four that it's been two different tims.
Speaker 8 (07:42):
You remember, in Week one they lose to the Raiders.
Speaker 7 (07:44):
In Week two they have a close win against the Dolphins,
whereas a real a kick return that won on the game.
And then Week three they have five turnovers that Drake
May was responsible for.
Speaker 8 (07:53):
Two of them. Then Week four comes and they blow
out the Panthers.
Speaker 7 (07:57):
Week five is emphatic win against the Bills, and then
the last three games they haven't Drake May hasn't thrown
less than two touchdowns a game from three touchdowns a
matter of fact, in the two of.
Speaker 8 (08:07):
The past three games.
Speaker 7 (08:08):
I don't know what happened from Week three to four,
but it has definitely set this new England Patriots offense, defense,
special teams up for.
Speaker 8 (08:15):
A postseason run.
Speaker 7 (08:16):
I don't think you can look at another team and
see a bigger jump, the point differential, whatever you want
to talk about. Drake Man and the Patriots to me
are set up for postseason run.
Speaker 8 (08:27):
They've been playing. They been playing phenomenal. So I got
to go.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
There, tough one, tough one.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
I'll go bow Nick though, and Bonix has a little
playoff experience under his belt already, so I kind of
like that.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
On my side, he wants to run the football.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Like that's what he's talking about a couple of days ago.
We got to get that running game going, and they've
got the ability to do it. He's got a really
good defense on the other side of the ball. He
also has that comeback against the Giants a couple of
weeks ago. It shows that he can remain come when
the odds are stacked against him, which a lot of
times they are in the postseason.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
I'd probably go Bo.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Nicks on this one, but I tell you, I really
like what both of these quarterbacks are doing this year
and what both of these coaches are doing for them.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
In the case of the Patriots. Judge McDaniel, it is.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
A really good question, and I think the coaching is
a big part of it, and it's kind of a
push in this sense that they both are surrounded by
really good coaches.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
I will go back to Drake May because set up for.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
A better postseason run, and to me, that starts with
a home playoff game, and to get one of those,
you have to have a really good record, and I
just think there's a chance that the Patriots have a
better record when we're at the end of this thing,
just based on the fact that they're still going to
play the Jets twice, they play the Giants, they play
some teams that are very beatable, and I'm not saying
that Denver is completely loaded scheduled, but just the AFC
West is a better division than the AFC East, I
(09:41):
think still at this point. And I just think Drake
May right now he is playing better than Knicks. I
think he has the potential to play better than Knicks
based on their team. And also bo Nicks just lost
his best defensive player for a couple of weeks and
certain at least I just think that Patriots are trending
upwards slightly more than Denver Broncos. But like I said,
it's a good question, and if the Patriots are playing
(10:02):
a home playoff game to start the playoff run under
Mike Vrabel.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
I don't think anybody's going to be shocked.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
It's a really fascinating draft class and it will continue
to be.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Kyle, do you find yourself like.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Throwing your pen at the camera or TV when we
bring up the fact that those are the two quarterbacks
that we picked from twenty twenty four and then it's
not Jaden Daniels having a superior second season or Caleb
Williams for that matter. Or are you unsurprised perhaps that
these are the two.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
Names on this screen.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah, and I thought for a second it was gonna
be Pennix Junior. But he's falling on hard times too. Listen,
this thing is still going to balance itself out. The
Bears play the Bengals this weekend. Caleb needs a big game,
and we'll keep tracking. But right now we have the
right too. Right now, May and NICKX have earned this question, all.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Right, perfect, finally on through it on Thursday. It is
the debate of all debates.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
I will leave a healthy pause for the editor so
we can clip this off and everybody can fight over
it in social media.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
In the history of trick or treating.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Many people have heated opinions about which candy to select
out of the basket when your neighbor opens the door
and you yell trick or treat. However, if you are
at the tail end of your trick or treating experience MANTI,
sometimes people would say that there are only a few
items left. You have to pick one of these that
are left in the basket at your neighbor's house. Which
one are you picking? Candy corn or black licorice?
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Well?
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Good and plenty?
Speaker 4 (11:18):
Yeah, good and plenty.
Speaker 7 (11:20):
Come on, Okay, So I've never tried either of these,
but the fact that I know that that black liquorice,
if black licorice is not a great flavor.
Speaker 8 (11:28):
Guys, it's not a good it's a horrible flavor. Now,
my wife loves candy corn.
Speaker 7 (11:33):
She does. You can tell she was raised in Arizona.
So I gotta go at candy corn because.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
I just wouldn't.
Speaker 8 (11:39):
I refuse to eat anything.
Speaker 7 (11:41):
That tastes like black licorice, and to be to be,
you know, completely honest. If I ever went up to
a house and said trick or treat and then it
was just these two, I'll just probably give the person
a hug.
Speaker 8 (11:51):
And walk away and.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Just be like thank you.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
But yeah, I gotta go to the.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Stranger.
Speaker 8 (11:58):
Yes, I'll just be like this, thank you.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
All right, I'm just gonna go on my costume and
go trick or treat somewhere else.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
So yeah, I couldn't do.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Either ceremonious shot there, like.
Speaker 8 (12:08):
Because if my wife was really from Hawaii. She wouldn't
pick candy corn.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
We don't. We don't.
Speaker 8 (12:12):
We don't do that.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
We do the big kit cats or the snickers. We
don't do the candy corns.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Got him, got it?
Speaker 4 (12:17):
We got him in studio, guys, we got him here. Yeah,
I don't. I don't mind the kid.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
I think it's a texture thing because it's it's like
kind of with a candy corn eating a candle to a.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Lot of people.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
So I get that part of it. But when I
was a kid, you know, the danger was the razor
blades in the apple, which was not really a thing.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Oh yeah, that was everywhere you heard about that.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
But this is kind of like that on a more friend.
This is more of like like a prank type thing
because it.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Looks so inviting. It looks so sugar, and it looks
so juicy.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
Like they had the good and fruity and then eating
fruity right, you'd bite into it and you're not expecting
that flavor. And I'm okay, no, no, I'm okay with
liquorish as an adult, but I want to know that
I'm eating liquorice and it's.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Hiding inside a candy show hair.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, it's it's an unapologetic flavor, isn't. It just goes
for it, and I respect that. I think, Jamie, you're
onto something that weeks after Halloween, when the kids go
through their Halloween pillowcase, the last things that are left
are like the candy corn and the Good and Plenty
and the box of raisins and a little bag of pennies,
you know what I mean, Like those are the dregs
of the hall. I actually enjoy a Good and Plenty
(13:19):
every now and then, Like I don't mind it.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
It's just it's so bold, like Wow, they really went
for it.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
However, I feel like I have to do this every
single year. I enjoy candy corn, I really do, and
I'll tell.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
You why, because you don't eat it any other time
of year.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
If you're something like a Sour Patch kid or Reaches
Peanut butter cup, that's just a year round candy. That
is a great American candy. But for like one week
or one day a year, you have a couple of
these things, and you have a couple, you don't have
a bag of candy corn. Like their skittles, you would
eat the whole bag of skittles I probably have five
or six candy corns a year. They bring me right
to late October. It's transportive, and I do it like this.
(13:55):
You eat the white, yeah, oh that's kind of fun.
Then you got the orn, and then you finished the yellow,
and then you have a couple more, and you're like,
see you next year.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
I don't mind the texture. They're like the flavor.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
It's a honey based flavor, and if you get the
real good ones, like the brox one or whatever, the
honey really hits. So I'm the guy who like I
like cranberries once a year on Thanksgiving. I like a
glass of eggnog once a year around Christmas.
Speaker 8 (14:17):
But that's it.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
I'm not eating candy corn in April or May, but
if it's late October, give me a.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Couple of these. I'll put them down every single time.
I stand for candy corn.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
The National Confectioners Association has actually deemed October thirtieth as
National Candy Corn Day, which is something super important to realize.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Is perfect And.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Kyle, can I interest you in the fact that candy corn,
the candy was originally referred to as chicken feed.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
That was its original candy name.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Well, Okay, I'm glad you brought that up, because branding
is important, and I've always thought that part of the
problem with eggnog, which is delicious, is the branding is
terrible because nog is a disgusting word and egg You
just don't want eggs in your drink.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
So I feel like they should change it to like a.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Sanna shake or something like that, like just rebrand eggnog.
Candy corn is really well branded. The other thing, Jamie,
it's great for decoration. If you put out a hole
of candy corn at your Halloween part, it just looks great.
It's not like some some disgusting pretzels or you.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Know, charcuteri. Those don't look great.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
This looks wonderful. It looks autumnal. And it's called candy corn.
Perfect name. And uh, I'm going I've had like six
d in the segment and then I'm done.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
For the year.
Speaker 8 (15:21):
There it is.
Speaker 10 (15:22):
Look at it.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
I want to go to that party.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
It's perfect.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
It's only used for candy corn, Yes it is. Yes,
that's Nana's candy corn bowl.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
If you host if you host a Sweet Child's Halloween party,
you put like two bags of candy corn into a
glass jar, and then you guess how many are in there.
But if you put like three boxes of Good and
Plenties in a glass jar, you look like a pharmacist.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
So like, it's tricky.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
So I do understand that candy corn would be the
way to go. Well done everybody on throw down Thursday.
Those guys would have more to say, but they have
wax stuck in their teeth. Let's bring in our own
NFL Network insider, Ian wrap Acord. While I should ask
you about the commander's quarterback wrap sheet, i'd be remiss
not to get your opinion on Good and Plenty or
candy corn good.
Speaker 11 (16:02):
And Punny's awful?
Speaker 12 (16:03):
What a terrible, terrible candy Candy corn, though, is actually
really good. I've always been a huge candy corn proponent,
and I'm always kind of annoyed this time of year
because I feel like I have to defend it. There
should be no defense. I like it. Don't yuck my yum.
It's good.
Speaker 11 (16:19):
Okay, leave me alone.
Speaker 12 (16:20):
Let me eat my candy corn, just like I can
drink my Octoberfest beer, which is also good. Just like
I can drink my Pumpkin beer again good. These are
the kinds of things that I look forward to. I
heard that these are the kind of things I look
forward to in the fall.
Speaker 11 (16:32):
Just let me live, okay, errhaps, I am.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Gonna yu your pumpkin ale. Pumpkin ale is not good.
Pumpkin belongs in a pumpkin.
Speaker 12 (16:40):
You don't have to have it with the cinnamon on
the rim. That's gross. Just drink it regular and it's fine.
SMARTI is also good. Spree is good.
Speaker 11 (16:48):
There's a lot of good Folloween Candy out there.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Pull his plug.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Yeah, go Jaden McDaniels. That guy plays for the Timberwolves.
Jade and Daniels go.
Speaker 12 (16:56):
Not the Canadian smartiest that are gross, the chocolate smarties,
the real smartiest, like the candy smartest.
Speaker 11 (17:00):
I believe he is also great, by the way.
Speaker 12 (17:02):
Yeah, anyway, let's talk about Daniels as he has called
for the Washington Commanders the full participant in practice for
the Commanders after missing last week with a hamstring injury.
He is expected to be back this week in a huge,
huge game against the Seattle Seahawks, in the game that
really for the Washington Commanders this season has been nothing
like they hoped.
Speaker 11 (17:22):
Gotta have him.
Speaker 12 (17:23):
This was a minor injury, so if all goes well,
should be back here Rather than backup Marcus Mariota, He's
not gonna have Terry McLaurin, though McLaurin had been battling
a hip flexer slash squad injury for about a month
before this, then played last week, then suffered a setback,
not going to play this week. We'll see how long
McLaurin is out, but you gotta think they step back
(17:44):
and say, our let's just get this thing healed, with
hope that he returns later in the season, and then
for the Cincinnati Bengals, once again the topic about their
quarterback situation.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
This is not about Joe Burrow.
Speaker 11 (17:54):
It's not about Jake Browning.
Speaker 12 (17:56):
This is about Joe Flacco, their third quarterback of the year,
who might end up giving way to Browning this Sunday anyway,
because Flacco is dealing.
Speaker 11 (18:02):
With an ac joint sprain and his throwing shoulder. Dach
Taylor called him day to day and said he could
in fact function. He believed Sunday unlimited reps.
Speaker 12 (18:12):
My understanding is faco status is up in the air
for Sunday. Didn't practice at all yesterday. If he plays
at all, it's going to be unlimited reps. So yeah,
we could see Jake Browning again for since thanks rap.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
Sheet, appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I'm gonna check back in with New York because I
thought Cayle just said he eats like five or six.
Kenny Corn's buddy, you just had like thirty. I just
watched you that entire New York.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Because I'm a theen. We're gonna take the plate away
from the look good, fantastic, it's still going.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
But well done.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Anything else you want to get off here of your
off your mind?
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Listen, people love it. We got a rare occurrence Ian
You'll love this. Jess is actually watching the show. I
got a text from my wife. This is the segment
is hysterical. You're literally getting paid to debate candy. Yeah,
ain't it wonderful? Honey? Which remind me of you have
a work.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
Called coming up here? Don't you have a virtual meeting coming?
Here's what I would say sometimes I walk by her.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Good good, No.
Speaker 11 (19:24):
The other thing.
Speaker 12 (19:25):
Gob stoppers are another underrated the Halloween candy bob stoppers.
No guide, it really is just makes me so happy.
More gobstoppers.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
I think you have a list of controversial candies pulled
up on your website right now, and you're just going
on them like you're just seeing gob.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Stoppers are not good and pumpkin nails.
Speaker 11 (19:42):
By the way, we've controversial, doesn't mean there's controversy.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
They've changed the shape.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
They changed the shape of Good Plenty used to be longer.
Speaker 8 (19:50):
Now is that.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Down your throat?
Speaker 11 (19:54):
Just kind of gross?
Speaker 3 (19:56):
I'm officially mad.
Speaker 11 (19:57):
It's Good and Plenty get out of here.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
We're going to get out of here coming out.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
JJ McCarthy is getting back on the field.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
As we have several.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
Quarterbacks returning to their team this weekend, we're gonna look
at which one will have the biggest impact for their team.
As Kyle extricates the wax from between his teeth, Yeah.
Speaker 13 (20:18):
I kind of like that.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
I'm gonna leave it.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
It's a little savor for later. Before the season started,
we made playoff predictions.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Yeah, which of them have aged well? Which of them
are embarrassing? Let's get into it. It's kind of a
midterm look back. I got a bear's helmet.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
It's Jamie's throwing the Chargers helmet.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
We'll get into it right after this.
Speaker 8 (20:46):
Good football.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
We're going to choose only fourteen teams in the twenty
twenty five NFL playoffs.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Coaching and quarterb I got this steerlessness.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Oh yeah, because quarterback changes are hard.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Fly e gos f live nasty. I got the La Rams.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
They're not in either. Okay in the West.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I know there are Niners fans wondering.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
What drug I'm on right now, just the drug of.
Speaker 8 (21:14):
Football had both of these teams. No, you don't.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
San Francisco.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
North Chips.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
These job.
Speaker 13 (21:28):
All right.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
That was a long time ago, in a galaxy far
far away. Before the twenty twenty five NFL season started.
We had our fun and we took our shots at
which teams we thought would.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Be in the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
We even did the preseason awards like Coach of the
Year and Rookie of the Year and offensive player there and
all that stuff. So let's just take a peek, because
we might be right, we might be wrong. A lot
of things are going to change between now the end
of the season. But we have four categories we're going
to go through to just take a look at. We're
preseason playoff pick that we're most proud of, preseason pick
that we're most annoyed by, that we made, the one
that we wish we could change, and then finally the
(22:02):
preseason pick that we just want to say, Yeah, I'm
doubling down. You may not like it, but I'm still
all in. So I will start. Here are my playoff
picks to start the season, which I, honestly.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
I feel very good about.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
I know, the Bears, someone jumps out as being strange,
but everything else, I mean, the wildcard teams, the division champs, like,
I'm pretty comfortable with that. Right now, let's go to
the AFC. Should we do that? Because the Ravens have
been rough. I like my wild cards. I like pretty
much everything except the Ravens record is not good. But
maybe they'll win tonight and we'll make that look a
little bit better. So I'll go through this quickly. What
(22:36):
the one I'm most proud of is easily I refer
to them now as they who must not be named,
the Seattle Seahawks. I had winning the NFC West, not
as a wild card, not behind the Rams, not behind
San Francisco, but the Sam Darnold, wildly unproven Seahawks.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
I love that constantly.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
I love the Jackson Smith and Jigbud dunks of the
crossbar and gets flagged for it. But it's like everywhere
all over NFL media, including on our show. But you
know why, because it's awesome and we should have a
look at that rule the Jimmy Graham. Either way, I'm
most proud by that because I don't think many people
were picking him, and I took a shot and it's
looked good so far. The one that I'm most annoyed
by is actually not a playoff pick.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
The most I'm annoyed.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
By, guys, is my pick for offensive rookie of the Year.
I was sitting here saying, cam Ward, it's not been
great down in Tennessee. If you were to tell me
that just a handful of weeks into the season, cam
Ward's coach.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Would be fired.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
But I also didn't know that a Mecca a Buka
would be incredible in Tampa. I did know that Tyler
Warren would be in Indianapolis, and guys, I don't know
who else could be a front runner for Rookie of
the Year right now on offense except for those two guys.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
I mean, I'm missing somebody I don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
But I know that cam Ward has a lot of
work to do and so to the Titan, so that
one's annoying, the one I wish I could change, I'm
considering it.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
None.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
My answer to this is none. I don't believe in
changing your picks. I believe in owning your picks. You
guys can change one if you want to. But my
honest question, there's none of them that I would say, well,
if only i'd done this, I still think all of
my picks are going to be right. And we're only
in what week nine or whatever. It is my pick
that I wish I could double down on it. Six guys,
it's always I refer to it as the center square
(24:08):
in the game of bingo.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
It's the Steelers.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
I know the defense is way down right now. I
know people are screaming about Mike Tomlin this.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
I know the uniforms were something.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
But I also know that we're gonna be sitting there
at the end of the season and you take your pick.
Is it nine to eight and they squeak in or
is it ten and seven and they have a nice
comfortable wild card.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
It is still going to happen. I won't deviate.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
If they lose this weekend again to the Colts, it
will happen, and I will double down on it. Mike,
your thoughts on some of these picks and some of
these statement.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
I'm gonna go right to the Steelers. And I showed
you this email. We get these email from these people
who have oh here, here we are.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
The projected win.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
Oh yeah, yeah, projected before the season week four, and
here's where they are right now. And there's like great variation.
Obviously the Colts were like seven and a half. Now
they're up to twelve and a half. For the Pittsburgh
Steelers Week one, eight and a half, Week four, eight
and a half right now, but eight and a half, No,
everybody knows exactly where it is.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Are the is this the year?
Speaker 5 (25:04):
Is this the year Mike Thomas doesn't have a winning record?
And like at one point you go, oh, maybe they're
gonna win eleven met it out it's give you right
around that eight and a half, and we still don't
know right where we were week one.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Something never changed, Jamie. We saw a clip of this
at the beginning of the season. You were surrounded by
the helmets and you're tossing off the ones you didn't
think you'd making.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
You tossing this one not tossing this one.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Which one of those tosses may be do you feel
good about?
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Great about?
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Just take the floor and answer our four categories, Jamie.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
One thing that I like about prediction rewind is something
stay consistent. And I just love how unabashed Lee Kyle
will never change one of his opinions, and I appreciate
and respect that about you. Pull up my whatever conference
you want to show me. First, here's my NFC. I
feel pretty good about down the slot. I know that
big purple blonded haired man with horns on his head
looks uncomfortable. Now you know whether JJ McCarthy was healthy,
(25:56):
And yes, I do have the giants on the right
side of the screen, and I actually think they could
have made a fun little run if they had just
not been decimated with injuries on the offensive.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Side of the ball.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
I feel good about most of my selections on the
AFC side.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
That's where I'm going to start. I am most proud
of putting that Patriot's logo in the wild card.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
I was.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
I was a fan of Will Campbell when he walked
across the stage in Green Bay. And Kyle's laughing at
me because why is it just a singular draft pick
on the offensive line. I don't know. There was just
a vibe in a mood and the fact that guy
with tears in his eyes that he would protect his
quarterback at all costs. And then Mike Brabel's in town.
So I'm really proud of that. I am most annoyed
by and I mentioned it already there he is Rabel.
(26:36):
He's fully flipped the culture. They did not have a
good start man time. You mentioned it at the start
of the season, but the way that he didn't kind
of he was unbothered by this turn things around. Fully,
Drake May's playing out of his mind, and I'm proud
of that. Standing by the quick turnaround that Brabel can accomplish.
I'm gonna pair annoyed and the one that I would
want to change together. I'm annoyed by what has gone
(26:57):
down with the Minnesota Vikings. I just think it's in
injury aside. It's just been an uncomfortable watch for them
at times. The NFC North as a whole is a
landscape that I wish not to be a part of anymore.
I put the Packers in a lot because of Michael Parsons.
I was really influenced by recency bias. When I was
making my playoff picks, I put Michael Parsons in. He
(27:17):
was my defensive Player of the Year pick. And I
got yelled at a little bit by Lions fans, but
mostly they're respectful. I just thought they were going to
go by.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
The way of the Eagles.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
You know, a ton of change in the coaching spots.
I think eight coaches left, and I know that's a generic,
you know approach, but change can breed poor results.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
The Lions have looked amazing.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
So I'm annoyed with myself by being influenced by what
happened to the Eagles a couple of years ago. And
I just I would change some of my jockeying for
position within the NFC North. And lastly, I am going
to double down back to the AFC side of things
and maintain that the Broncos are going to win the
AFC West.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Broncos are playing great.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Sean Payton is getting under everybody's skin in that division
and in the AFC, and I think something is happening
with bo Nix and the fact that in his second
year we just had a conversation about Drake May and
bow Nicks. No one really could have thought that those
were the two guys that we were staring at in
their second year.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
The defense is so good. Patri Tan hurt, but he'll
come back.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
And I'm going to double down on the fact, Mike
Gee that I still have the Broncos winning that division.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
Jamie on the whole, really good, really good.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
I am curious.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
I meant to ask you at the time, and I
think I saw you Week one on the field.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I think that was the point game. Yes, the opener.
I could have asked you.
Speaker 5 (28:29):
Then I want to ask you now, what what was
the path to the playoffs for the Giants? Because everybody
said Russell Wilson is the starter. Look at this gauntlet
of a schedule. It's not even like, well, they could
pick up a bunch of ways.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Like where in your mind's eye? Where where was that question?
Speaker 3 (28:44):
I roll my.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Eyes at strength of schedule, guy, I really do. I
just I think it's I think it's really lame. I
just think any you know, any given weekend, and this
season in particular, has proved that that you cannot tell
me that a certain team strength of schedule in week
one is a joke because some team that they are
going to play, could have totally fallen on their faces
and then the metric changes. So I really don't go
(29:05):
by that whatsoever. What I do go by is, unfortunately
it's a word that I'm going to use vibes, and
I think that in the desperation that Mike Brabel or
not break Brian Dabele was going to have to take
on in this year and his coaching Joe Shane, they
all had their entire futures laying in the hands of
this draft pick that they jumped up for to get
Jackson Dart. I never thought Russell Wilson was going to
(29:25):
finish the season. I thought, you know, Kyle and I
I remember a year ago, we're talking about Jacoby Brissett
or Drake May, and I thought you should wait to
start Drake May, which ended up happening. Fine.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
So I always thought Jackson Dart was going to come in.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
I didn't know he was going to be as much
of a spark. I just thought it was going to
be that feel good Cinderella team, even if they got
blown out in the first round. I thought they were
going to eke in and we.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Were all going to love them.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
Now I understand the thought process, and we're in a
real interesting scenario with the Giants where they could win
five to six games, let's say, and we could say, hey,
Brian Dabele has secured his job, because what's happening with
the quarterback and everything moving in the right direction. It's
going to be a fascinating conversation with the Giants down
the stretch here with regard to what they're gonna do
(30:07):
moving well.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Speaking of fascinating, let's look at Manti tails picks. Manti
talkers through them, and then let's get to the four categories.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
You are my friend, Roll Mantiz, thank you.
Speaker 8 (30:17):
Put the picks up there please. I want to see
what my picks were.
Speaker 7 (30:20):
First of all, it is a great weekend over there,
a week in Philly with everybody who's a great vibe,
a lot of a lot of energy there. I do
like the Niners that I brought them into that playoff
category at the wild card spot. Let's put the AFC
because I'll start off with my AFC picture. I am
most proud of my Broncos pick as the AFC West champions.
(30:42):
I am also most proud that I have three a
AFC West teams in the playoffs, because if they're looking
as far as the Chargers, the Broncos and the Chiefs,
they are looking like all three will be in the
playoff picture.
Speaker 8 (30:54):
So I'm most proud of the Broncos and.
Speaker 7 (30:56):
The AFC West, three of the AFC West teams being
in there.
Speaker 8 (30:59):
I am most annoyed by my Lions pick. And the
reason why I'm most annoyed by my Lions.
Speaker 7 (31:03):
Pick is this or somebody who talks a lot about culture,
somebody who talks a lot about Dan Campbell. I let
the departure of both coordinators get to me. I let
the departure of Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson kind of
rattle me a little bit. And and I didn't put
them as the NFC North champs were. My gut told
me to put them, and I should have stuck with
my gut there.
Speaker 8 (31:22):
So that's the That's a pick that annoys me.
Speaker 7 (31:24):
Which leads me into the pick that I wish I
could change. I wish I could change my Bikings pick.
My Bikings pick I picked as an NFC North champs.
It's not looking good for them, and I didn't anticipate that.
I have full belief in Kevin O'Connell and no matter
how how this season may go, Kevin O'Connell to me
is one of.
Speaker 8 (31:44):
The best coaches in the NFL.
Speaker 7 (31:45):
I just don't think it that the season is it's
going the way he expected it to go. But that
the pick that I will double down on the Ravens
winning winning the AFC North.
Speaker 8 (31:58):
They are really they are.
Speaker 7 (32:00):
Even though they have won, they have lost a few games.
They still want to know in the division. They have
five of their division opponents are left, and with Lamar
coming back, I am excited to see what that dynamic
looks like because if that defense can continue.
Speaker 8 (32:15):
To play the way they played last week.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
Now, last week, guys, they played Caleb.
Speaker 8 (32:20):
Williams and the Bears, and it was no joke when you.
Speaker 7 (32:23):
When you go against a team like that that Ben
Johnson had going and the momentum that they have going
over there in Chicago. So I was really impressed with
their defensive performance. So I'm doubling down that the Ravens
will win the AFC North.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
Here's what you should be most proud of, Matt Titeo.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
No homer picks.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
You could have had the Chargers as a division champion
you said, no, I hate the wildcard team, and the
Saints are nowhere to be found. That Florida ly you
were talking, it was last week or the week before
about how we got to talk about the Saints more
and you were playfully pumping up the Saints. You said, no,
I'm not even gonna put them in the playoff picture.
That is a good call.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
Man.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Can't wait till the end of season look back. So
that's the one where the gloves really comes off, my friends,
and it'll be here like that.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive line Anthony Nelson came up big
on Sunday, picking off Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler for his
first career touchdown, and then he did some other stuff
too before he got to dan zone.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Give him the ball more.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
It's like a down one.
Speaker 7 (33:17):
Oh, I'm taking it to the end zone.
Speaker 8 (33:21):
Far a touchdown by Anthony Nelson.
Speaker 10 (33:24):
Game ball to Anthony Nelson. He's matching the arm with
the throw. And I don't know if Spencer Rallery just
didn't think he was that long or tall or could
make that play, but he didn't even have to jump
that high.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I'm going to gently double down on that hit. Laid
down by Anthony Nelson on Spencer Ratler. I saw online
somewhere Sherry Burrow said somebody was like, after a hit
like that, if this was like youth football in a park.
Spencer Ratler was call his mom and be like, Mom,
can you come pick it off?
Speaker 14 (33:50):
He kind of like, you know, just looking down, just
kind of walking back.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
I'm just staying down here.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
Yeah, gets an.
Speaker 14 (33:55):
Orange slice, just says I'm done for the day. It
kind of reminds me Jamie. So that was an angry
Runs nominit. This last week, I remember the picture of
Patrick Mahomes just kind of like stepping over the dude
that Kyle had.
Speaker 8 (34:06):
It kind of reminds me of that.
Speaker 14 (34:08):
And this weekend we get to see Patrick Mahomes and
the Chiefs had to Buffalo to take on the Bills
on Sunday.
Speaker 8 (34:13):
We kind of talked about this matchup.
Speaker 14 (34:15):
Already Buffalo dominates the regular season matchups, but it is
a completely different story in the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes says,
despite that he is looking forward to going on the
road and playing in Buffalo, even though they're not so
well liked by Bill's mafia.
Speaker 13 (34:30):
I mean, they don't like us I mean that's pretty
They do not like the Chiefs, but I mean it
is a cool environment. I love playing in like historic stadiums,
and that stadium has had so many great players play
in it, and who knows, it might be the last
time that we get the opportunity to play there, and
there'll be a great challenge for us. And they're loud,
and that's what you want. You want to go in,
go in and be in a hostile environment. That's what
(34:52):
football when you watch on TV as a kid growing up,
is the environment you want to play in. And so
obviously they're not rooting for us, but you get the
bond together as a team and get to go into
a historic stadium and play in a great environment.
Speaker 14 (35:04):
That is up for another installment of that one. But hey,
the spirit of Halloween, the Panthers rookies dressing up and
surprising patients and families with a visit to the Atrium
Health Lavigne Children's Hospital.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Little early Halloween trip.
Speaker 14 (35:16):
The players, along with Nicole Tepper, helped lift the spirits
of more than one hundred patients and their families throughout
the children's hospital.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
Always great to see these players in their.
Speaker 14 (35:26):
Communities making a difference, and it's always so fun to
see who dresses up as what, and we absolutely love
the effort that these guys are putting in now so
to come here, we have several quarterbacks making comebacks this week.
Speaker 8 (35:40):
We're going to look at what kind.
Speaker 14 (35:41):
Of impact they're going to have on their.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Teams as we look ahead to the games this weekend.
Speaker 8 (35:55):
Good mon is football.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
The Minnesota Vikings getting back JJ McCarthy this week and
against the Lions after being sidelined since Week two with
an ankle, and they also don't have Carson Wentz the
rest of the season, who's going to undergo surgery, so
they will be able to rely on JJ moving forward.
The quarterback spoke to the media on Wednesday and said
he's finally feeling healthy and available again.
Speaker 15 (36:17):
Extremely confident every time we step out there. You know,
it's the work that we put in every single week.
It's the trust in my teammates and coaches and all
of that's been at all time high. You know, it
sucks not being able to get the reps and you know,
be able to continue to progress all the fundamentals and
all the little things. But there was a lot of
areas that you know, I picked up and think I
benefited from, you know, just watching and observing from the sideline.
(36:40):
So feel like myself again, feel like I, you know,
have those mobility things that I was concerned about, you know,
going into last week, in the prior weeks.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
So yeah, ready to go.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
McCarthy's not the only quarterback making a return to his team.
Lamar Jackson expected to come back for the Ravens tonight
against the Dolphins, and then Jayden Daniels for the Commanders
against the Seahawks. You got to pick one of those
three quarterbacks, Mansie, which return are you most intrigued by?
Speaker 7 (37:05):
Well, if you remember what I said in my prediction
week reaction, I doubled down with the Ravens. And the
reason why I doubled downs is because Lamar is coming back,
and Lamar opens up things for Todd Mounkin and that offense.
I don't know if you ever realized, but Derek Henry's
name hasn't been talked a lot about in the past
five weeks, and I think a lot of that has
to do with Lamar not being in a backfield and
the offense not being able to run the way that
(37:25):
they want to run it. But then we found out
earlier this week the news report coming out of Baltimore,
how all the TVs were taken out, the ping pong
tables are taken out, where we found out that that
was Lamar who spearheaded that whole operation. So I am
very intrigued to see Lamar come back through his thing,
be healthy, be productive, and be electric like we've been
used to seeing him.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
JJ McCarthy for me, and I am old enough to
remember way back that game in Chicago earlier in the season,
that second half, or it wasn't even second it was
the fourth quarter right where he really.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Turned it on.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
What's happened since then, Well, there was an injury with
varying degrees of reported timelines, and are they using that
injury him on the bench to hide him a little
longer and give him Like so much has gone on
since this moment where we said JJ McCarthy has arrived.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
There he left and I was coming back Kenny arrived.
I mean, I just feel like.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
This next ten games is so big. Forget the playoffs,
forget like getting back into this. This is about making
a statement for twenty twenty six and beyond for JJ McCarthy,
because if he does not play well, there's gonna be
some tough questions having to be answered asked inside the
building in Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (38:39):
It's I think you're around it, Mike. I'm most excited
to see Lamar return, but intrigued. It's by far JJ McCarthy.
I know exactly what Lamar is.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
I have no idea what JJ McCarthy is, and I
don't know if Kevin O'Connell is what JJ McCarthy is.
Mike said it, he's played one good quarter this year,
one good quarter, and the other seven of the two
games he was there were not pretty. And then, on
top of it, when in the middle of this intrigued
by everyone.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
In the world about is he really that hurt or
maybe he's.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Not that good, you have Carson wentz out there in
pure anguish, should not have been out on the field,
and Kevin O'Connell still won't put JJ in. And then
if you just need one more dollup of intrigue on top,
you get this random cutaway of JJ McCarthy on the sideline,
candidly showing agility and showing here comes JJ. I mean
(39:26):
he didn't immediately fall down and grab his ankle. In fact,
he signaled first down. If you can do that, you
can't come in for Carson Wentz, who was having his
life flashing for his eyes. The question became, oh my god,
how bad is JJ McCarthy. Now that is a very
negative way of looking at it, but it raised a
lot of eyebrows the fact that he is not even
(39:48):
coming in in relief of Carson Wentz, who looked like
he was going to pass out from pure pain. And
you're jumping around on the sideline signaling first down. You're like,
get in there, Well put him in. He looks fine,
and he didn't, but now he is. I will say this,
the matchup is absolutely horrible. It's at Detroit, it's the
Hutchinson pass urizes all of that.
Speaker 4 (40:07):
But this has grown up football.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
You don't wait for a soft landing spot, or maybe
you do if you're the Vikings with McCarthy, I.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
Don't know how hard he was. I don't know how
good he was.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
We know at one of the thirty two we say
thirty two starting quarterbacks. The guys who have been around
a year or two, even guys like Kale Nixon may
we kind of know what they're about. We don't know
squat about JJ McCarthy, and that's what makes it intriguing.
He says, he feels like himself again. I hope so,
I just don't know who himself is in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
It's a terrifying future for JJ McCarthy this week. And
the three words that he doesn't want to hear about
Aiden Hutchinson. He's healthy, he's rested, and he's paid because
the Lions are coming off of bye and Aida Hudgson
recently got his contract extension. So look out, JJ and
the rest of the Vikings offense. You have an NFC
North opponent come in. We'll see it tomorrow for Halloween.
