I love it Ithentic Texan Seahawks just ended five minutes ago.

Still doing his postgame interview on the field.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
It was a true nightcap. We loved it.

Welcome to Good Morning Football, presented by Old Trapper.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Yeah that's right, GMFP. Everybody on a Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
How's it going, Jamie, Manti, Willie and Kyle Kyle always
brags about how it's a loaded dance card. Kyle, do
you have an explanation for Angry Runs today? A quick
little teaser for the crew watching Getting ready?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Oh yeah, I'll go up to the rooftop. The weather
is getting worse and worse. I signed up to do
it all season. At some point, I'm going to be
blown right off that roof, I'm telling you. But the
dance card today is some old friends, some familiar friends,
and maybe even a friend.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Or two from last night's games.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Kyle.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
A couple of weeks ago, when you were first on
the Angry Terrorists, I talked to my mom after the show,
who watches very dedicated to you are, and she was like,
I'm worried about Kyle.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
You know what's he going to do into November and December?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
And I'm like, Mom, that's the point of doing it
on the Angry Terrace And she goes, why didn't I
think of that?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
That's classic Kyle. So there it is.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I'm just waiting for that weather to hit, and the
precipitation is wildly anticipated.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
For Angry Runs.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
My mom just says, do you really need to do
all that? We all have our own Mom's every opinions right.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You know, we were screaming last night though Detroit, Michigan.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
They packed that place.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
The place was jumping, and they had a very good
Tampa Bay Buccaneers team in the house. First of all,
good news for the Bucks to start the game. Mike
Kevin's is back, Mom and day, go that manage you now.
Jared Goff almost never loses back to back games with Detroit,
and Amanvra Saint Brown has a lot of touchdowns this year.
He looks fantastic. He goes against the rookie corner Jacob

(02:41):
Parrish and it's over seven nothing Detroit. Credit that Detroit defense.
They were much better team last night. Let's hear from
our guy, Dan Campbell, and let's hear about it from
a very frustrated Baker Mayfield and very candid as well.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Focus on the moment you're in, like, hey man, you
got this, We're going to clean it up and you're
about to get five days off, you know, so give us.
That's all you got.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
It's a little bit of R and R, you know.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Clear the mind, clear, let the body heal a little
bit and get right for now. The last push, man,
the big push will be here. You know, we get
the division opponents where we got ten until we hit
the playoffs and it's on.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
So it's good.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Still pretty damn confused about the double review. A lot
of things in that game that a little questionable, but
a lot of frustration at the end of that and
it might be displaced onto John Hussey in the moment,
but it's that work off and I put a lot
into this game. So when things that I don't seem
are deemed fair, I'm going to let somebody know. And

(03:44):
that's good, bad, and different.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
That's a take.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
That's the stands for Baker to full name the head
official from the game. It just wasn't a great night
for the Buccaneers all around. I'm gonna know, football manti
really cool in terms of Dan Campbell saying you got
to get right. The Lions are really good recently after losses.
That's their twelfth straight win after they several loss which
they did last week, and boy did they ever get right.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (04:08):
That's coaching, right, That's what coaching does. That's what Dan
Campbell does. As somebody like that who stands in front
of your room and commands the respect of men, that's
what that happens.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Now.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
I'll start by saying this prays up to Mike Evans.
You know, to Kb's point, you never want to see
somebody go down like that. Let alone one of the
best representatives of the Shield in Mike Evans, not only
one of the best players on the football field, but
does so much for his community off of it.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Secondly, Jamier Gibbs, you's good.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
That boy good, that boy fast, he's good.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Now. Third, let me get to my point.

Speaker 7 (04:40):
The thing I love about the Detroit Lions is they
make plays like this with some of their key players.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Pine Swore.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
Don't know if you saw this play, but Pine saw
just clubs.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
A defender, then runs down the field and tries.

Speaker 7 (04:51):
To make a block. No, he doesn't make the block,
and Jamiir Gibbs looks at him, like, piney block the
smallest guy. You block all of the biggest guys on
the field, and then when it comes to this tiny
little mouse, you miss him. But Pine is moving like
that's Jamiir Gibbs.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
He's moving and he just swims winfield.

Speaker 7 (05:07):
It's like, all right, go make the play on Jamior Gifts.
He's scored enough today. That's what I love about this team.
But then again you see players like a Mona Saint Brown.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I don't know if you saw that one where they
ran that option.

Speaker 7 (05:19):
Yea, the play was beautiful, But to me, what was
the most beautiful is what happens after so Jamiir Gibbs
gets stunned and then here comes a Monro he pushes
him for a first down. Like, these aren't guys that
are trying to make the team, guys, these are guys
that are the team. That's a Mona Saint Brown and
that's Pine Swool like pillars on your franchise. They're over
there making effort plays like this for the betterment of

(05:41):
their teammates and their team. So this is what I
love about love about the Detroit Lions, not only those
sick black uniforms.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
That they're wearing, but the way that they play, how
explosive they are, about how they play for each other
with Yeah, for me, it's about the bucks man.

Speaker 9 (05:53):
Tampa for the first time this year looked like they
were playing out out of the.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Weight class man.

Speaker 9 (05:57):
You talk about Baker in the night, he had being
sacked four times. They only average forty one yards rush.
They averaged three point eight on the ground. This was
a tough day for the Bucks, and I think it's
solely because with the Lions defense and how they wanted
to play, they wanted to make it a nightmare for
making Mayfield the Bucks right now, especially Baker Mayfield. When
you watch this game, he looks sped up and like

(06:19):
his process was forced. It looked like he couldn't really
see what he wanted to see. They shut down, They
pretty much nuked all the vertical threats, especially after Mike
Evans went down.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
They wanted explosive plays.

Speaker 9 (06:30):
None of that came into fruition, and so you saw
this Bucks outfit really scrammling the fine answers and.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
They never got him.

Speaker 9 (06:36):
I thought, Baker right now, you know you can talk
about him having an MVP type year. I thought this
game hampered it. I think this tempered flames because he
didn't play as well.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
As we thought he's expected to play.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
And if you talk about what the Bucks need to
do moving forward, man, they got to find some answers
on the ground. Not being able to run the ball
really suppress this offense as a strengthen playbook. And that
is a tough night for Baker Mayfield and the Bucks. Man,
But I tell you one thing, I've been in part.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Of losses like this, Kyle Man, and you learn from it.

Speaker 9 (07:02):
I remember back in the eight during my Super Bowl year,
we played the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
We gave up nine sacks that game.

Speaker 9 (07:09):
The next week we had to go play to Baltimore
Ravens and the only thing we did was dig deeper,
understand details, and play harder.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Man.

Speaker 9 (07:16):
We was able to win and going and win the
Super Bowl. So the bus to learn from this, but
they can't soak. They got to be able to move
on to take their wounds. They sat Ben nine nine
times in Philly.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
That was rough. We got to hear about that one
on the pod. Ben, I want to hear the recap
of that. It wasn't hard. I'm sitting here laughing.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
We was about to slap a long time ago possible
likely playoff matchup in this game. Look at their records.
They're five and two, five and two. Detroit was far
better last night. I think we're gonna see this game again.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Tampa. They're only lost this year.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Really it's to the Philadelphia and it's by six points.
This one they got thumbed. Not a good Knight from
across the board. Baker didn't look himself. You get Mike
Evans back, you lose Mike Evans. Everybody's hurt. They don't
get the calls. Bucky everyon was a huge part of
this team last year. It was a very big part
of this game. He's out, Godwin, Evans, et cetera, et cetera.
And yet, you know what, can you imagine being a
Detroit Lion or a lionspan here and somebody complaining about

(08:08):
the Buccaneers injuries this morning?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Detroit decimated as well.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
They got all these guys in the secondary out and
they hold Tampa to nine points. I don't care who's
playing wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Detroit, you know, to.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Take the word from their head coach to Troit was
grittier last night. They wanted to fight. Tampa tried, and
I just don't think it was their night to fight.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
They'll be back. This isn't one of.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
These week to week knee jerk things where I think
Baker's washed, Tampa's fraud.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
It's just it was a bad night, It really was.
They never had it from start to finish.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Detroit was far more energized, far better, And I just
have to file on what Manti was saying. Jamiir Gibbs
is the varsity playing with the freshman team. Like when
you watch him, you're like, why is that guy so
much better than everyone else out there? There's like ten
guys in the league. When you watch them, they just
pop the second they get the ball, and he looks

(08:56):
like he's just running around having fun. He is truly
entering his prime now as still a young running back.
I mean, I'm a going to have to remember when
Detroit drafted him really early and everyone's like, what a
running back? You know draft running backs that high? He's
one of the best players in the league. I mean,
it's he's doing what Bijon did a couple of weeks ago,
and everyone's given Bijon the belt and no one's like, no, no, no,

(09:17):
it's Jamir Gibbs. And then two nights ago it was no, no, no,
it's still Christian McCaffrey. Gibbs is a lightning blur. I mean,
it's just it was really really fun to watch. We're
gonna be watching them all year. I a little hint,
you're gonna be seeing him in Angry Run shortly.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
It's he did everything you could possibly do.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
But you know my other takeaway watching Detroit and this
is tangential.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
God, the Chiefs are really good. Huh.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
The Chiefs stumped this team, The Chiefs just a couple
of weeks ago. That team you saw last night, Gibbs
Montgomery go off, Hutchinson, case beat them up.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
It's just I know we're jumping way over to the AFC.
But like Casey's record, KFC, Casey, I don't care if
don't be right, I don't care. Kansas City's record is
not great, but they may be the best team in
the league. It's like it's them, It's the Colts, It's
maybe the Lions. I don't even know that team that
you watched last night. Just backhand the Bucks. They got
beaten pretty soundly by Kansas City, and like, just welcome back,

(10:11):
guys that they keep getting away with the Kansas City.
It's fantastic. One of my takers from watching the Lions. Man,
the Chiefs are good.

Speaker 7 (10:17):
Okay, bringing the Chiefs into the conversation.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
I love that.

Speaker 8 (10:21):
KB.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
I want to follow off of one thing that you
said about the injuries, right, the injuries on the Lions,
Like that's the secondary that they forced turnovers all game long.
But there was no Brian Branch, there was no Kirby Joseph,
there was no tarry On Arnold guys. Nick Whiteside lined
up against imecag Buka for half the game, didn't allow
catch Like that's how dominant that defense was.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
So we have Jamiir Gibbs, we have all of those.

Speaker 7 (10:45):
Highlight plays from Amna Saint Brown, but that defense came
to play with guys that weren't necessarily on the first
teams starting on a depth chart. So shout out to
that defense. Were coming out to play. They're fast, they
played violent, and they took the ball away and I
thought that was impressive.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Listen, the Buccaneers, they had a really, really rough outing
last night, and who knows if that has to do
with what Tampa Bay was going through or what.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
The Lions handed them. Kyle, are we.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Seeing a newfound NFC rivalry develop on this side of
the ball.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
You know, people talk a lot about.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Eagles bucks, but I kind of like Lions bucks, as
to your point, could be a teaser to what comes
in January.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
It's what we saw for the past couple of Januaries.
What do you make of bucks?

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Lions, and just the personalities of these cities, these franchises,
and what we might see to come with the talent.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
On the roster.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
You got two number one overall picks, a quarterback, two
guys who know each other really well, and Baker and
Golf they're both in the Pro Bowl down in Orlando
each and every year. And then you got Campbell who
does his thing, and Bulls, who's much more soft spoken.
My first reaction after the game was it was so
one sided and it was really Detroit's night. And yet
I really do think I'm going to see these two
teams in the playoffs. They're going to have a role
in the end. I don't know if they're going to

(11:52):
be hosting or Rett traveling wherever. But this is not
the last time we're seeing these two teams. And I
hope we see him.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Because this is great.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
I love Tampa versus Philly as a rivalry. That's like
one of my favorite ones going on right now, and
we're still listen.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Campbell talked about it.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
They're going to the buy now and they get that sweet,
sweet victory and they go on the buy. But when
they come back, the lines are going to start playing
heavy divisional games, so we can talk about Tampa all day.
Detroit's got scores to set up with Green Bay after
they got walloped in Week one. That Chicago's ascending like
there's a lot.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Going on with Detroy. We're gonna be talking a lot
of Lions over the next couple of months.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Buccaneers are not afforded that same schedule that the Lions do.
They don't get the buye. They still got to play
another week. They have the Saints next week, and they're
going to have to do so without one of their
major offensive weapons.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
We saw it on the highlight.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Mike Evans was not on the field the last couple
weeks for Tampa Bay, and now that looks to be
the case for the foreseeable future. Tom Pella Sero. Welcome
into gmfb R NFL Network Insider with us this morning.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
What's the news about a.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Beloved star, not only if you're a Bucks faan, but
in the NFL right now with Mike Evans this morning, Jamie.

Speaker 10 (12:50):
Certainly a scary looking play last night with Mike Evans
lying on the field for quite a while after attempting
to make a catch down the field. He was in
the concussion protocol, also suffered a broken collar bone. According
to co Todd Bowles, broken collar bones are generally six
to eight week type of injury, so we should be
back at some time in September. The bad news, besides

(13:13):
how bad this play looked, is it's been a frustrating
season for Mike Evans. He just came back from the hamstring.
Now he's out once again. His streak of eleven consecutive
seasons with at least one thousand receiving yards is effectively over.
The good news if you're the Bucks and Evans is
that there's a real chance now that he is back
in time to help out in a potential playoff push. Elsewhere,

(13:35):
Commander's quarterback Jaden Daniels had tests Monday on his hamstring that,
according to coach Dan Quinn, revealed nothing significant or long term,
but daniels status is up in the air for Monday
night's game at Kansas City. If Daniels cannot go, it
would be Marcus Mariota and whatever receivers the Commanders are
able to put on the field trying to outduel Patrick

(13:57):
Mahomes at the time that Washington really needs a win. Meanwhile,
Falcons quarterback Michael Pennix Junior also got banged up on
Sunday night late in.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
That loss to the forty nine Ers.

Speaker 10 (14:08):
There was a lot of confusion, a lot of reporting yesterday.

Speaker 8 (14:11):
Is it a foot?

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Is it an ankle? I am told it is neither.

Speaker 10 (14:16):
Michael Pennix Junior has a bone bruise in his lower life.
It is nothing that is a major concern. Might be
limited a little bit in practice this week, but full
expectations Penix will be good to go on Sunday against
the Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Jamie Tom, it's actually Kyle. This is nothing personal.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
I don't want to see Marcus Mariota at Erahead Stadium.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
I don't want to see him for the Commanders. I
want to see Jaden Daniels. I don't want to see
Mariota versus my homes. No one does.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
I don't think Mariota wants to see that.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Tell us more about Jayden, please, It's got a longer week.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
He doesn't have to play Sunday.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Are we feeling that maybe it's not that serious and
we can get him because I want to see him.

Speaker 10 (14:52):
The issue with these types of injuries is always going
to be Is this something that can be aggravated? Is
it going to be ended up being a setback? It
sounds like it is a very low grade type of
an injury, something that p so you could come back
one week later. We just saw Mecha Buca last night
again a minor hamstring. You're thinking, is this big? Is
this two four six weeks?

Speaker 4 (15:12):
He was out on the.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
Field Monday night.

Speaker 10 (15:13):
In a long week, I would anticipate you're not going
to see Jayden and Daniels very much on the field
in the early portion of the practice week. The final
decisions will we made from an organizational perspective as we
get into the weekend. You also don't know who is
going to be a wide receiver for the Commanders. In
that same game, you're going up against a Steve Spagnolo
defense that absolutely wiped out the Raiders last weekend. Here

(15:36):
the Commanders played that last game with no Terry McLaurin,
no Deebo, Samuel Noah Brown is already on injured reserve.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Let's see in the longer week now.

Speaker 10 (15:45):
Co McLaurin, who I'm told is not at any setbacks,
He just isn't there yet with that quad injury. Could
this be the timeline for him to get back on
the field. And as for Debo, they didn't place him
on IR. He's been dealing with that heel for weeks.
It's a painful type of injury. He tried to play
through it didn't go last week because he also have
an opportunity to get back onto the field. That, as
much as anything, I believe, is going to tell you

(16:07):
what the chances are for the Commanders to get the
better of Kansas City on the road.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
I always like checking in on a team coming off
a bye, especially on Monday Night football. It just feels
like we hadn't seen the Texans in a while, and
the Seahawks, well they've been making a name for themselves.
But when you're home on front and Monday night football,
Sam Donald says, look at what I can do until
he can't? Man, why does disease Alshaier do stuff like this? Manti,
you're going to talk about this. The Seahawks are already

(16:35):
up by a touchdown and then Al Schaier, who people
have takes about how he normally does hits like that, Well,
Manti's going to talk about it. Demigo, Ryan's disappointed by
look at this NBA coming back this week, Jackson Smith
and jigm little personality on the dunk on the crossbars.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Seahawks going to.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Win this one decisively. So Smith and Jigbas firing up
to fans in Seattle twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
To nineteen your final.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Afterwards, we're gonna hear from a quarterback Sam Donald and
see j Stroud opposite ends of the emotional spectrum as
the Seahawks now enter up by.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
On a win.

Speaker 11 (17:11):
We can't turn the ball over like that. I can't
turn the ball over like that. But again, our defense
and our special team stepping up tonight was huge. So
when you come out of here, you know, having a
game like that offensively and you still win the ball game,
can't ask for more than that. And you know, we're
just going to continue to learn from from our mistakes
and get better.

Speaker 12 (17:31):
I just think we just didn't catch a rhythm, had
a good They did a good job. It's keeping the show.
And there's some of those starter shorts and you know,
players like that. We just we we got to execute.
But I think it starts with me and I got
to do a better job of distributing the ball better.
And you know, when I have good pockets, you know,
working on them and making sure I'm getting the ball
out on time and to the right guy. So I

(17:53):
look inward and then you know, there's some other things
we'll to watch film and get better at.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
It's just in a bumpy road for the Texans to
start this season, and they run into an absolute buzz
saw in Seattle, Mansai on night football, and there was
some defensive effort by Houston that tried to create electricity.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
However it seemed to fall flat.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
Yeah, I think when you look at the defense that
both defenses of both teams, it was like watching the
same defense, right, both very physical, both very good at
taking the ball away. And so I'll credit both defenses
for that. Now, for what you're saying in the highlight,
I do have an opinion about what happened to as
But I first want to go to the first play
from scrimmage that the Buccaneers had were Rashadaway and if KB,

(18:35):
I'm sorry if you had this on your anger runs real,
because I thought this was this qualified for anger run.
So this is the this is the earlier game, right,
So Rashot White goes, he puts this helmet down and
he just Trucks Alliance defender. I love that, Like that
is a great football play, great job of.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Coming downhill being physical.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
Now let's go to the play where Alshair got got
that penalty of unnecessary roughness. Okay, so then that ain't it.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
That ain't it.

Speaker 7 (19:01):
That's a great play, that's a great play.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
But that ain't it. I will start to talk about
what happens. So you saw it in a highlight.

Speaker 7 (19:09):
Sam Donald starts to scramble and Ausar hits him and
he starts to drive him a little bit. If I
look at both of those two plays, the first one
I love, perfect football play, a lot more violent than
the second one. Yet the second one got the penalty.
The thing about unnecessary roughness is this, and I don't
need to play it anymore.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
You see this. I got these tats right right now.

Speaker 7 (19:30):
If you ask a lot of people who have tattoos,
some people will be like, it was the most painful
thing that ever ever occurs to me. Other people will say, man,
it didn't really hurt. What I'm trying to get to
is roughness, paint. All of that is all subjective to
whoever is looking at or experiencing it. I think when
we're talking about unnecessary roughness. It's on a spectrum of
what's rough to the guy who's looking at it.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
I think there has to be a clearer picture as
to what the rules are in regards to unnecessary roughness,
because when I watch that play, I don't see anything
that's rough with this Playfmanti.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
He makes contact, he's already driven an out of bounds.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
Let up.

Speaker 7 (20:06):
I respect that though, James, I respect that, But I
think this is what it is.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
You kind of hints into it in the highlight. I
love this conversation.

Speaker 7 (20:13):
Could it be because al Shaier is a repeat offender
that you already have eyes on him? Because had that
been somebody else for the Houston Texans, would they have.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Called that play? Wouldn't they have called that penalty?

Speaker 7 (20:23):
If Henry Taultall would have done that, would they have
called it?

Speaker 4 (20:26):
I don't think they would have called it. But because al.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
Shair is who he is, and because he's gone penalties
against him in that manner, I think they already have
their eyes glued in on him that anything that happens,
the flag comes out already.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
So that's that's I love.

Speaker 7 (20:40):
That's the only thing I had with that, James, I
think it's just a little different per the player.

Speaker 9 (20:45):
Yeah, yeah, I almost the only defensive side too. I thought
Seattle's defense put on a massive class on how to
make an offense.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
Say uncle.

Speaker 9 (20:52):
I thought this defensive line and his defense showed up
in a major way at home, multiple three and one stops,
a fourth and one stop, And you have to credit
a lot of it to Mike McDaniel. He's taking that
Ravens culture and instilled in Seattle.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Man.

Speaker 9 (21:04):
When you listen to these guys talk after the game,
it's all about their mentality. Seaball get ball, defending every
blade of grass, playing with the attitude and intensity, and
we were able.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
To watch that last night.

Speaker 9 (21:15):
I think Seattle right now defensively doesn't get enough credit.
They ranked third in sacks. They were able to sack CJ.
Strout three times and hit them seven. So if you're
talking about what wins is defense in Seattle, San Donald
has had a great season thus far for this defense.
If you talk about standing up, fighting hard, scrap, and
playing with intensity, this is their brand of football. So
I was impressed about that. They don't get enough praise.

(21:36):
And yeah I am tipping to my hat.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
To them, listen, keep on tipping it. It's a strange
thing that happens where Seattle has this great night at home,
they play well, both sides of the ball, get the
job done. And like, I'm just looking around this morning
on the internet and TV, and it's just like, what's
wrong with the Texans? Who cares? The Texans are two
and four? Come see me when you get to five

(21:59):
and four. I don't really care about the Texans right now.
The Seattle Seahawks are five and two, and it's like
they don't exist fat And even when you have this
great night where they play really well against the team
that people respect, it felt like it was on at two.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
In the morning.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I feel like most of the country didn't see it.
Most of the country doesn't have a feeling on the
Seahawks this morning. And guess what happens now? Now the
Seahawk's going to buy So for two straight weeks, we're
not gonna talk about them. I feel like there's so
many people who like, if you walk around like Main Street,
USA and in the country right now, do people still
think that Pete Carroll's the Seahawks coach? Do they still
think Russell Wilson is on the team and like Marshawn

(22:34):
Land shit everything because I know a lot of people
feel like, well they lost some juice because their coolest,
most famous player is DK Metcalf and he's gone.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
That may be true.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Do you have any idea how good Jackson Smith and
Jigma is right now? Do you know that he is
leading the NFL and receiving yards and it's not even close.
And the second place guy is Jamar Chase. We all
bow with the altar of Chase and he's amazing. JSN
is way out in front of him. He looks like
a first team All Pro fantastic. Do you know Sam
Darnold's playing just as well this year as he did

(23:04):
the Vikings last year and that year when they just
won and won, And it's Jefferson left and Jefferson right.
Donald is working. It's working, not just a little bit,
it's working profoundly. But you bring up Seahawks, and for
some reason, I don't know, because the legion of Boom
is gone and Richard Sherman is not there anymore, that we.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Can't talk about the Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I sympathize with Seahawks fans and we could be sitting
here at ten and two, Willie, and it's still gonna
be like, I don't know what's wrong with the cowboy
who cares for one hot second about the Seahawks. What
is the prejudice? Is it because it's the sleepy Pacific Northwest?
It's because most people don't know that their coaches Mike
McDonald or people are bored with Donald.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
I don't understand. Because they run.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
The crap out of the ball, they play defense, they
have exciting skill position players. You know, it's rock and
roll at Seattle. For some reason, it doesn't sizzle. And
I think that's what makes them cool, because that can
be an identity. We're gonna be six and two, seven
and two, eight and two. No one wants to talk
about his Fine, we'll see you in the playoffs. Then
when they have to talk about it, I can name
it right now. The Seattle's are going to be in
the playoffs. They're gonna have this Saturday one o'clock playoff

(24:08):
game that's everyone's out and about doing aeron. They won't
be on Sunday at Saturday night.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Run with that.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Seattle, run with that coach Carroll, No coach McDonald go
run with that because people are I'm telling you, you can
turn on a turn another channel right now and be like,
is CJ. Stroud taking a step back? Who cares? In
the context of that game, Let's talk about the team
that actually won it, the team that wants most of
the game this year, the Seattle Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
All right, it's a great point, Kyle. I'm gonna keep
plling out this thread. Before the show started. You know,
we're four minutes to air on GMFP and they're getting
the shots ready in the studio here, and I did
take a moment where I turned around and I looked
at this imagery here and I was like, huh, so.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
That's what Mike McDonald looks like in a.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Profile shot, you know, like I really, I really looked
at him.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
You know, I was like, okay, cool, Like I rded.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
The image just hasn't been cemented in all of our brains,
I think enough.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
So I want everybody to take.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
A good gander at Demico Ryans and Mike McDonald not.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Wearing a Ravens team look at.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Just just make sure my years out of the way,
not wearing Ravens team colors, because that man was The
reason why the Ravens was they were great defensively for
so many years. He worked at Michigan, he worked for
the Harbas and maybe now this is why Baltimore is struggling.
We thought the Lions were going to be not good
because their coordinators left.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Mike McDonald left Baltimore, and what is happening to that defense?
So that's what he looks like. Everybody with the.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Photographer in the background, he's not even looking. He doesn't care.
The photographer doesn't even care. He's not even looking at
the coach's looking for Pete Carroll KB, where's book?

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Where's coach.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
Mars Son's.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Bar?

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Guys, he's gone. You're not gonna find camp Chancellor that
he's gone.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
No, not there anymore.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
The Seattle Seahawks, everybody and their head coach, Mike McDonald's
We're going to get.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
To hang ruins here in a second.

Speaker 8 (25:56):
Dawson knocked.

Speaker 7 (26:02):
Every time I see Patchaco on Hunt, I just thinkruns
that segment.

Speaker 8 (26:05):
This guy just lives angry check off, thank you for
my sake.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
Angry run except with Kyle Muslow much appreciate dream singing
the guy's name that does it. But the angry runs.
I always want to be on that. He can be
an angry runner. Angry runner, That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 10 (26:21):
Let's go, oh, Kyle Brandt, we just had an Angry
Run candidate.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
You're actually are so you win that sceptor Angry run
scepter at a running back.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
You want this.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
You want to be in one of the Angry runs
and have an angry runs.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
They send you a close sit there sing your clue shirt.

Speaker 8 (26:38):
Came me get him?

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Probably concrete jungle dreams of made up. There's nothing you
can't do. Welcome to New York City and the angry terrorists.
Angry terrorists. Those are two words that have never been
parents together before in the history of the English language.

Speaker 8 (26:59):
That a's just be bat now angry terrorists. That's where
we are. Deal with it.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
This is the scepter.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Who's gonna get.

Speaker 8 (27:07):
It this week? Come on over, my friends.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
We got a load and dance card for first.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
I think I need to murder my thirst. I get
a little parts two in Angry Runs, so I reached
for a liquid.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Death and I cracked the top.

Speaker 8 (27:18):
And let's go, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
We got thousands of submissions from the Anger Run street team.
The Men women's shouldern animals, grandparents who wear the shirt
and they try to show their definition of anger in
this case to win Super Bowl tickets. Would you like
to see some of the entrance.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Let's get into my friends because.

Speaker 8 (27:38):
They are good. First of all, is my man Rhoades.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Rose with the fengus football, the stiff arm to the
little skeleton.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
That's the cat and Vickie. What's up?

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Vickie and Rhoades went and found a video of me
in high school. That's seventeen year old me doing some
postgame interview talking about my nine two one ozho sidebirds, roads, creativity, anger.

Speaker 8 (27:58):
I love it and shout out Vicky.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Next, father and son, a majestic portrait. This is John,
this is Jack, Dereck Henry shirt, Cam'scadaby shirt.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
Now why does this photograph look familiar?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Because it's inspired by this and this is why I
love bath.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
That is me.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
That is my nephew, Camscatabu, Uncle Kyle over here, get
back to John and Jack. Classic reinterpretation of the photo
with an ad lib baseball bat scepter.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Absolutely beautiful.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
But our winner this week, our winner this week, we
go to Panthers fans Panthers fans feeling themselves.

Speaker 8 (28:34):
Look at this crew.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
I know that looks like the big show right there,
and it might as well be.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
That is my Matt, David, and that's his daughter Ava.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
There met the Museum of Illusions in Charlotte, the Museum
of Illusions. And he says, but there's no illusion what
Rico Doubtel.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
Is doing to the NFL.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Love the creativity, love the production talent. There you've got
and my man David and Ava, you guys just won.
Guess what you want. Here's where I get into the
legal leases. It's also very important. Here's I don't want
you to do. Want to go to your local museum
and do it. Fine, send it your angriest photos, your
meanest mugs.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
You don't have to buy or wear an angry.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Run shirt to qualify, but it certainly doesn't hurt. So
go to homage dot com and check them out. Each
week a winner will be selected like I just selected
David and Ava by me.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
That winner will get one hundred dollars Homage gift card
one hundred bucks.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
But the weekly winner, most importantly will also become eligible
for the grand prize, which is two Super Bowl tickets
and three.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Nights in a hotel. Scan the QR CO to right
there or text Angry.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Runs to six three five six three five for your.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
Chance to win.

Speaker 8 (29:43):
That could be a segment right there.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
We could just throw the commercial and we'll sell some
beef turkey and some trucks and some tires.

Speaker 8 (29:48):
We're just getting started.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
That's the commercials before the trailers, before the movie, because
we go to the Interceptor World Tour.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
This is how we're looking at twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Nephew camscat Jordan loved the entire brain trust of the
Colt to Jonathan Taylor, Mario and Hampton reco And once
again last week, cam Scotta boot.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Scotta boots, gotta boo.

Speaker 8 (30:09):
Will you do the button? Dango?

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Let's get to the next Let's gets it this week.
Gets it this week.

Speaker 8 (30:15):
Let's get to this week because.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
We got an old friend of the segment showing up.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
This guy's been shown up in Angry Runs for years.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Bring me the Rashad White last night in the early game,
not the one at four am. Rashad, Why is no
big deal? Oh you're gonna try to tack me? B
That is awesome and so pure. Shoot a face Oh,
New York City, do you love it? Hallett looks like
you got hit with a mallet right in the face.

(30:43):
And Rashad White, I don't care that the bucks lost up,
not with the segments about balth Security throws him into
the sideline, looks down on him. Rashad White running with
rage like he's done for years, and I sent me
go right back with Rashad White. He made history a
couple of years ago by becoming the first Anger Runs
winner to ever take a scepter picture.

Speaker 8 (31:02):
With his daughter. Look at this, Look at sweet little
in the bay. That's his baby girl who's get.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Anger and then love. And then the next year he
wonts and he.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Did it again, and look into Bezel growing up this
Rashad will look at her. She's got the sceptor, so
she looks a little scared, but I don't blame her.
Rashad White can be doing this long enough. Then we're
gonna do a picture of the bay with her driver's
license or getting walked down the aisle with the sceptor.
Rashad White, keep running. We will still do it next.
Oh boy, hold on, hold on, I gotta get ready
for this one. I gotta get ready for this one,

(31:33):
get over here. Ah but Checko, but Checko is back.
Is this the week that my man Isaiah? But Checko
does the thing? They get up and do the stop,
the angry stop, the punch, the chest beating.

Speaker 8 (31:55):
Right through the heart of the race.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
You don't crack me up about this, But Checko does
this to go up twenty one to nothing in her
twenty eight to nothing. Who even can keep tracking this game?
And it says if he just scored the walk off
touchdown the AFC title game, not against the lifeless Raiders team.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
And how perfect is this freeze frame?

Speaker 1 (32:12):
We have Pachecko, just the embodiment of rage, walking past
the dude named Tranquil. Tranquil, This is like pulling some
slayer inside of a spot.

Speaker 8 (32:21):
They just don't jell together.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Piche and Trank will roll it because watch he's still
trying to break tackles on his own sideline as guys
are trying to dap them up. Look At, just get
out of the way, Gardner Mitschew, I love that you're there.

Speaker 8 (32:34):
And then he gets on the bench.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Look at Juju comes over for a little piece, and
then Juju.

Speaker 8 (32:37):
Gets in dug ah even on the bench.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
He's mad after he scored one more time right up
the middle.

Speaker 8 (32:45):
But Schecko, oh, it's so good.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
He hates the ground, he just absolutely hates it.

Speaker 8 (32:52):
But does he win it?

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Does Pochecko finally get this. We gotta go back to
last night. We gotta go back to last night. D
just say it, Jamir on fourced down, roll it, fourth down,
everything changes.

Speaker 8 (33:08):
You gotta have it, you gotta bring it. And on
an option pitch Bright that tacko runs right.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Into windfields and moves the chains on the bucks sideline.

Speaker 8 (33:17):
Look at that big number four. It's not how many
tackles he broke.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Even the guy in the cave bast on the sidelines
looking like I'm getting the hell out of the way,
can still run me over. Kvass guy Smart, get out
of there. You don't want to get chuck bikes, Jamier
Gift you puts the forum right to the trachea. Look
it's still fighting. Winfield Junior is bad, bad dude, and
he slipped past them. There's something psychological about this. And

(33:41):
we go way back to Jamir Gibbs a couple of
years ago. Young guy coming in the league wins the
scepter flexes it and the old shirt, that twenty three
collectible shirt.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Look at this just right here.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Yeah, I'm gonna be maybe the best running back in
the league in a couple of years. I'm gonna go
on Monday night run all over Tampa.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
I love the mentality he decided.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
No matter what happens, all fifty three guys on that
sideline could try to tackle me on fourth down, I
am getting through them and moving the chains. That's Detroit
football at Stan Campbell football.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
That's Jamir Gibbs football. But just accept the winner.

Speaker 8 (34:16):
Come on, let's take a walk.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Let's take a walk as we go downstairs to New
York City, across the country to Los Angeles, as we
look at the majestic Robert F. Eiger Building across the
street here, let's start. Why don't we go to Inglewood
from the Robert F. Eiger Disney Building to these shadows
of the Great Western Forum. Jamie Manti, what say you?

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Listen Kyle, as you say Pacheco will only elicit a
scepter when we really know what's happened. And you have
a very specifical, evil, specific evil cackle that you deliver
when you know and angry Ron is so sweet Pochecko
has not done that for you yet. I need the cackle.
So for me, it's a Rashad White Nantha.

Speaker 7 (34:59):
I gotta go with Rashadaw White as well a KB.
I love that thing, but I also love to see
the progression of his thought in the vay apter wring
it choice. It's so cute to see that progression, but
he still remains angry. So I got Rushad White in
that KB. Yeah, none of that. For me, it's Jamar Gibbs, Man.
You took the ball, heart fight Grint running with anger.

(35:20):
That was an angry run. Give me the ball.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
I'll make a way small Griss Gibbs, go with it.

Speaker 8 (35:27):
The devil has many faces.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
The angry runs have had many gears the way they
show themselves. Sometimes just about all guys are from it.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
I go back im and he's down.

Speaker 8 (35:36):
But other times you dig deep.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Other times there is not only the physical components of
the angry run. It's the psychological, the evil component that.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Says, bring it all, you're all about to hold.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
The l and gets who's about to hold this? Jamir
Gibbs gets it back. It's going back to the Motor City,
Honolulu Blue. I love you Gibbs Show last night, Jim's scepter.

Speaker 8 (36:01):
This morning, he gets.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
Another one, another one, and we bring it home right here.

Speaker 8 (36:07):
Miss Sucker's going to the trike.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
We're going to commercial Angry Rods boom.

Speaker 8 (36:13):
See you next week.
