Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
All is right in the world.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Everyone is back in their respective boxes. Isaiah, get out
of my chair. I return to Good Morning Football. We
are brought to you by old Trapper Beef Jerky. It's
a Tuesday, which means we don't have to do much Workfellows.
In the first hour, Angry Runs is happening. Jamie eartl
Man Titeo, Isaiah standback where he belongs. And Kyle Brant
as always in New York. Kyle good a sea man.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
It's great to see you, Jamie.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Welcome back to the United States of America. You had
a great international trip. I saw you interviewing everybody.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Under the sun.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Incredible coverage, really exciting game, and the show goes on.
We will not believe what is waiting for us on
the rooftop for the angry Terrorist during Angry Runs today.
We've never done it before. I got goosebumps already.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
You're going to love it.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
And we had two tackle football games last night which
we will completely break down right now for everybody here
in New York and LA.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Let's start the show.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Welcome to Good Morning Football. Presented by Milk Trapper. That's right, GMFB.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Everybody on a Tuesday, Welcome in Jamie Mantai, Kyle and Isaiah.
Kyle mentioned it at the start of the show. A
great time in Dublin, Ireland. The NFL put on quite
the delight for Viking Steelers. The fans were awesome. Ireland
was very happy to have us. It was a really
cool scene. But Kyle, something I know that you care
specifically about is during my travels, I do talk to people.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
That's fine. I also watched some classic.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Movies that I watched, the movies that people will make
faces if you say you haven't seen them. For example,
see you. On my way to Munich, I watched seven. Okay,
that's fine, we're going to put that aside. On my
way back from Dublin, I watched Inception and frankly, I
don't know what dream state I'm in. If like them,
if the Falcons couldn't score a point against the Panthers
(02:00):
two weeks ago, but then they dropped thirty four and
the Commanders there was a tie, like I need one
to do the kick, so I come back to reality
exactly like I I'm deep into the reddit boards at
this way, Kyle, inception is fantastic, and stop judging me.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I've officially seen it.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
That's all right.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Twenty ten gave us the year. There's the year of inception,
of course, Chris Nolan. And is the top still spinning
for the.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
New York Jets? I saw the walk. That is the question.
That's a little wobble.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Let her mind out, but maybe not for the Dolphins.
Here we go, let's go to hard Rock Stadium.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
New uniforms, polarizing.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
I like them.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
I like them. If you have to ask, you like them.
If you either immediately hate them, if you have to
think about it, you like them. I like them.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
The Dolphins gotta win. The Dolphins gotta win. The Jets
are zero and four. You want to know what the
New York Post headline is this morning? Monday, nightmare football.
It's always positive. Let's go to some sound afterwards, and
let's hear some reactions to this game now or Jamie, you.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Have a highlight?
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Well, I do have a highlight from the second game.
But also Waller on the hand, he sealed the on
side kick, so that was cool. He was all over
the place last night, as are these two. Normally Jamar
Chase and Patzertan and Jamar Chase once again trying to
find space, but that's Patzertan all over his back and
Chase understandably frustrated, he goes to have a chat with
his head coach in the sideline. After the game, Zach
(03:22):
Taylor said, this, Jamar coming off a game like this,
he's one of my favorite.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Players to deal with, quite frankly, because he's just.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Competitive, competitive, and frustrated because he was only targeted eight times.
He had five catches for twenty three yards. Finally, fourth quarters,
this thing was all but over. That is a blown coverage.
I believe the technical term is Broncos would take a
twenty eight to three lead on that play bow nixt
to R J. Harvey, Broncos five hundred and twelve total yards,
Bengals one hundred and fifty nine total yards. Broncos would
(03:51):
go on to win this one decisively twenty eight to three.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Of sport we know all too.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Well, but that's a final in the NFL. Our friend
bridge At Condon was on the field after the game
with the rating Defensive Player of the Year. The emphasis
this week has been on finishing you guys now with
a twenty five point win over the Bengals Taenior seventh
straight win at home.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
What went into getting it all done?
Speaker 6 (04:14):
I think it took a collective effort, you know, everybody
doing their job, everybody doing their win eleven. And I
think going into the game, we know that this was
a crucial win that we must have going in towards
the next part of the season. You know what I mean,
This first four games is really crucial, you know, because
we're down one and two. I think it's very important
to go to and two, you know, and put ourselves
(04:36):
on the right track.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Frustrating enough to have just eight targets if you're Jamar Chase,
But if you read that stat line under patzertanis he
just led one catch just in that one on one matchup.
Man THI it's always fun for us to watch if
your Chase is frustrating to be a part of Broncos
win last night twenty eight to three.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
What was your big time takeaway?
Speaker 7 (04:52):
My big time takeaway is this, guys, and I want
to hear everybody's feedback. It is it too early right now?
I hate to watch a Cincinnati Bengal team with T
Higgins and Jamar Chase running around on there and just
doing cardio and.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Not have the ability to get them the ball.
Speaker 7 (05:08):
Like that is way too much talent and way too
much money on the field at one time to.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Not have the ability to get.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Them the ball. Now we're going to talk about Joe Burrow.
Speaker 7 (05:16):
I want to talk about Joe Burrow because Jake Browning,
bless his heart, he's trying his best. It's not that
he's out.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
There and he's just slacking.
Speaker 7 (05:23):
But when you have number one, arguably the best wide
receiver in the NFL, and you can't get him the ball,
like he's worth nothing at that point.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
So is it too early? Guys? Joe Burrow is going
to be out.
Speaker 7 (05:34):
They say earliest December.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
He's going to be out for a long time.
Speaker 7 (05:39):
Is it too early Cincinnati Bengals to be thinking about, Hey,
what's the quarterback situation looking like going.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Into next year? Because ain't no way.
Speaker 7 (05:47):
If you're a Cincinnati Cincinnati Bengals fan, ain't no way.
You can watch this game and watch the frustration on
Jamar Chase's face every time he was on a football
When he went to the sideline, he was arguing with
the coach like what is going on. There's no way
that you can continue that year in and year out like's.
There has to be a plan. And that's my biggest
take from it. There's great play by the Broncos the defense.
I expected him to do what they did. Matter of fact,
(06:09):
I expected him to get a little more pressure based
on that old line and how they did against Minnesota Vikings. However,
my biggest takeaway is, is it too early, guys to
start thinking about a plan besides Joe Burrow, not to
replace him, but you have to have somebody that can
come into a game and at least give you a chance.
At least give guys like Jamar Chase and To Higgins
(06:30):
a chance so that Chase Brown can do his thing.
You have a whole bunch of weapons in the skill
position for the sensitive Bengals.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Isaiah.
Speaker 7 (06:36):
I just think that is it too early, knowing when
Joe Burrow is going to come back, knowing what your
schedule looks like, you're most likely going to have an
early draft pick next year, Is.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
It too early to start thinking about a quarterback? I
don't think so.
Speaker 8 (06:49):
And you know, it's hard press for me because Jake
Browning is obviously a former ub quarterback as well. He's
capable of delivering the ball and getting the you know,
and doing his job as a quarterback. But the reality
is the Cincinnati Bingals in the state of their offensive line,
you need a dual threat quarterback.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
See Burrow was able to do Burrow things.
Speaker 8 (07:06):
He's able to go up to the line of scrimmage
and command and communicate and get guys in the right place.
And we know he's been put on the ground way
too many times over recent years as well. So when
you bring in a Browning into that same situation, he
really doesn't stand a chance. And it doesn't matter how
many skill positions you have, how many guys you how
much money you've invested into your receiver group. Those guys
are talented beyond measure. But as you saw last night
(07:27):
against Denver, all they did was come up, press man
and send the horses to go get your quarterback and
the offensive tackles seemingly in no man's land. These guys
are literally getting to the quarterback untouched. So they have
to figure out their protection issues if they even want
to have an opportunity to get the ball down the field.
Because at that point, if you can't even protect. Then
you can't even get the hands, get the ball in
the hands. You're most dominant people.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
First of all, the Broncos stomped them out, and God
blessed the Broncos. Good for them, incredible win. I don't
care if who is playing, this is twenty eight to three.
The Broncos are trying not to go one and three
in this game. This game for the Broncos is gonna
matter if and when they're in the playoffs again that
they won back on that crazy Monday night or against
against Cincinnati. I don't care who their quarterback is. B
(08:10):
Knicks look better, The defense looked like we thought it
was going to look all season.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Bravo for the Broncos. Quality win. Hopefully it will.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Matter when you're trying to get your playoff spot. Second,
last night was a great, great night for Joe Burrow's legacy. Like,
oh my god, I remember when Peyton Manny missed the
entire season which led to the Andrew Luck draft pick,
and everyone's like, this was the greatest year of Peyton
Manny's career because the second he was gone, the Colts
couldn't win a game.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
He should be the MVP, just based on his absence.
Great night for.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Joe Burrow and how much we respect how good he is.
What you're talking about, man Ti, is what do the
Bengals do now? All right? They had the advantage, They're
one advantage they have right now after just a miserable night,
is that they're not zero and four.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
They're not one and three. Two and two is fine.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Two and two You can play with two and two
if you are trying to salvage the playoffs this season,
which if you want to laugh about this morning five,
but this is how these teams think. What do you
got to go the rest of this season? You gotta
go what eight and five get you to ten and seven.
I don't think you're going eight and five with this
quarterback situation, and you're not changing the offensive line overnight.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
You got to mix something up.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
The last two games have been two of the worst
games in Bengals history. I'm not exaggerating. It's the worst
two games stretch ever. Jake Brown is a fun, nice story.
I like his Zephyr and everything, but like there's things
out there, there's things out there this morning.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Are you the Bengals? Are you calling the New York Giants?
And be like we want Jamis. Is that just nonsense
Twitter social media stuff? Or do you bring him in
and say, hey, Jamis is one of the all time chuckers.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
He's going to have four touchdowns and three interceptions and
we may be built to win that way with our personnel.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
I would say if you were owned four, like, let's
move on and talk more about the Broncos.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
But there's a two and two thing with a Maybe
Joe Burrow comes back in early December. I don't know,
but I know what I saw last night is not
getting you to ten and seven. It's just not I
would get on the phones now. Maybe the bengalsre not
that type of organization. Maybe they a little tight with
the purse strings. Maybe maybe they got a little bit
of scar tissue from all the money they just spent.
What's the alternative? You're gonna roll out that last night
(10:09):
again for the next two and a half months. You
gotta do something because Denver is a very good team.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
You're gonna play a lot more of them. You couldn't
even compete last night, Kaby.
Speaker 7 (10:17):
Let me tell you this, as there are six games.
Next is the Lions, Then they got the Packers, don't
like it. Then you got the Steelers, and we talked
about O Line and the Steelers and that rush just
because it's coming together.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Then you got the Jets. Maybe Bears are looking better.
Speaker 7 (10:32):
Then you follow it up again with the Steelers, like
that's their next six games. For the Cincinnati Bengals, guys,
it's like fronts that have rushes.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
You got Michael.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
Parsons, you have Aiden Hutchinson, you have the Watt and
all of his guys over there, and then Pittsburgh twice
they start thinking of a plan, so I at least
give us a chance.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
I make it a.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Parallel to what I watched on Sunday morning in Ireland
between the Vikings and the Steelers, which is there was
a lot of talk before going into that game about
what the Vikings were doing with JJ McCarthy, and then
it all depended on what we saw from Carson Wentz
that day and the weeks after the fact that.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Ooh, fascinating. The Vikings haven't put JJ on ir ir
now seems like nothing.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Four games seems like nothing compared to what the Bengals
were dealt and handed with Joe Burrow. Because when Joe
Burrow first suffered this turf toe injury. I believe it
to be like December twenty second or third that we
even projected he would be available to practice. So that
is such that as an eternity, Kyle, to your point
about having to have a certain record or jockeying for
a position. With this the vision where the Ravens look whatever,
(11:31):
the Steelers look better, and the Browns are hanging with everybody,
So that projection for Burrow is just a tougher pill
to swallow. I think if you're the Bengals and we
will be fascinated by what Cincinnati does moving forward and
their quarterback spot, because it doesn't feel like with all
they've invested on the offense that this is where they
can just stand pat at the quarterback position. Tom Pelisero,
(11:51):
good morning to you, our NFL Network insider joining us.
We had two highlights from last night. It was Bengals
Broncos and it was Dolphins Jets. Tom big name went down.
We saw, We showed the play one time in the highlight.
It was gruesome to see. What is the latest with
Tyreek Hill.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
Jamie Tyreek Hill is set to undergo major reconstruction surgery
today for multiple torn ligaments the fallout from that gruesome
injury that he suffered last night. It is a dislocated knee,
it is a torn acl and more. For Tyreek Hill,
who somehow was smiling on the cart as he left
(12:28):
the field, Mike B. Daniel said he was cracking jokes
with teammates, showing leadership in that moment. Suffice to say,
Tyreek Hill's twenty twenty five season is over, and there
are certainly questions about whether or not he will be
ready for the start of twenty twenty six and whether
he will be on the Dolphins at that point. He
does have a five million dollar roster bonus and eleven
(12:50):
million dollar injury and full guarantee that is set to
kick in if he is on the roster the third
day of the league year in March. However, there is
no injury guarantee at this point. It's possible that the
Dolphins could move on Tyreek Hill, now thirty two years old,
facing a long road to recovery much more complicated than
just a torn acl. And as for the Dolphins, coming
(13:12):
off of a really important win for that organization last night,
now must move ahead without their top wide receiver.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
In other injury news.
Speaker 9 (13:22):
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's status is up in the air
for this week's game against the Texans because of the
hamstring injury that forced Jackson to leave Sunday's loss to
the Chiefs in the third quarter.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Because of a hamstring injury.
Speaker 9 (13:37):
John Harbaum did not add a lot of details about
the injury when he spoke with reporters on Monday, other
than to say there was no way that Lamar could
have come back into the game even if the score
were more competitive. That is certainly an indication that Lamar
Jackson is in danger of missing time because of this injury.
The schedule also potentially is a factor. They've got two
(13:59):
more games before a week seven by given Jackson's play
style his importance to the team, could the Ravens potentially
hold Lamarro out for the next two games, give him
almost a full month to recover and make sure he's
fully healthy after the buy. We'll get more answers when
the Ravens get back on the field for practice on Wednesday. Meanwhile,
forty nine Ers quarterback Rock Perty's status is once again
(14:21):
up in the air as well. Coach Kyle Shanahan told
reporters that Perty complained of real soreness in the tow
on Monday, after he had missed the previous two games because.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
Of that injury.
Speaker 9 (14:34):
Shanahan said he didn't indicate it to me during the game,
but talked to him on the phone last night and
said it was starting to bother him. He was listed
as a do not participate did not participate on the
estimated injury report on Monday. If Perty can't go on
a short week Thursday night against the Rams, it will
be Mac Jones, who won his first two starts in
Perty's absence, getting the ball once again against LA.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Everyone is back after a wonderful weekend Dublin, Ireland, especially
if you are any part of the Pittsburgh Steelers organization,
those who were on the team, on the field, on
the coaching staff, or even the legends who played for
the organization themselves. They appeared on the sideline and they
walked away with the win. And that is exactly what
our friend of the show joining us now on GMFB,
(15:22):
a Steeler's legend, like we love him as much, right
key do?
Speaker 1 (15:27):
What's going on top of them morning?
Speaker 3 (15:35):
The only time that should be said on this show
is he who had just returned from Dublin wearing what
I can only assume is a hat that you did
not own before you went on this trip.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Is there a story before? What's on the top of
your head there, Bud.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
That's true.
Speaker 10 (15:47):
I got to go down to Kennedy's Pub where they
got me this fit his lid, and I got to
teach my friend Andrews Stockey how to pour the perfect
pint nice. It takes technique, So we got to go
down there and have a great time with those guys
at Kennedy's.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
As does a pass rush.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
It takes great technique, both of those things. I'm sure
you know all too well now, Brett, just real quick.
You and I were both in town over the weekend
in Dublin. What I observed was it appeared in Dublin
that the crowd was split, or let's say forty percent
Steelers fans, forty percent by games, and then twenty neutral.
You know, you saw a bunch of random jerseys. However,
when you got inside Croke Park, it felt like the
(16:27):
Steelers and the Terrible Towels took over. What was it
like for you being a former player.
Speaker 10 (16:32):
Definitely felt like a home game. It was a Black
and Gold takeover I felt from the jump. And that's
one of the special things about being a Pittsburgh Steelers
is how our fans travel, how they roll, how they
support the team. It was just great to be there
with them kind of leading up to the game. Even
yesterday flying back, about eighty percent of my flight that
(16:54):
I was on with Steeler fans. So I had to
get up and tell those guys thank you and thanks
for supporting the team clear over there at Dublin because
it was just like a home game.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
Yeah, I know, Brett. They're known for their fans, but
they're also known for a defense. I personally want to
thank you because eight twenty ten Pittsburgh Steelers defense had
a tremendous impact on me and the way that I
played the game.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
But the defensive line.
Speaker 7 (17:17):
In Pittsburgh has a legacy with like no other where.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Does TJ.
Speaker 7 (17:21):
Watt fit in that hierarchy of defensive linemen.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Oh buddy, he's up there with all the greats.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
You know.
Speaker 10 (17:28):
He's one of the best players that's ever done the
back Black and Gold. He's a generational type talent. When
you have players like him that completely can take over
a game and make impactful games. Even when he's getting
triple team, double team quaudrupeleteam DJ finds a way to
get it done and make splash plays. And that's what
really was the difference in the game there against the
(17:50):
Vikings is turnovers and splash plays.
Speaker 8 (17:52):
On d Brett, I'm gonna take you on a roller
coaster of emotions here. I'm going to take you back
to Super Bowl forty five, your Steelers fail to the
Packers thirty one and twenty five, and the MVP of
that game with some quarter back by the name of
Aaron Rodgers. What did you think when you heard the
news that Aaron Rodgers was signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers
your squad.
Speaker 5 (18:12):
It was pretty crazy. You know, that was a tough
day down in Dallas.
Speaker 10 (18:16):
That was a tough day, but you know, to get
a quarterback of his caliber, someone that could really still
get the job done, who is an MVP in this
league and a competitor like no other. First bella Hall
of Famer, all those accolades come with Aaron Rodgers, and
he keeps showing it at his age that he can
get it done. Big play there to DK Man, that
(18:38):
was a huge play of the game.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
I love having him here.
Speaker 10 (18:41):
He brings a certain swagger and I think Steeler Nation
is really opening their arms to him, being like, yeah,
let's go. Maybe we can get back to the Big
Dance with this guy.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Hey, I love hearing that. That's what the Steelers are
all about. But the guys who just won the Big Dance,
they're in the same state as the Steelers. Philadelphia Eagles. Dude,
I'm going to say something. I just want your reaction
to it.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
The tush push, Well, it's legal. I feel like we
should have used it more in the game.
Speaker 10 (19:08):
I was actually calling when we had those short yards plays,
like let's do it. It's tough to defend, but at
the same time, I think it's tough to practice.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
One of the reasons the Eagles are.
Speaker 10 (19:18):
So good at is because it's been a part of
their game plan for a long time, and I think
they haven't mastered and I don't think anybody can really
doubt that, but I think the other.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
Teams should use it.
Speaker 10 (19:29):
It's a third and short situation that's I mean, really
tough to block.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Well, how tough would it be to block? Let me
give you a hypothetical.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
It's yourself, Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith, all the boys are
back together. We wished tell that we would have mashed
it with let's go.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
You know that they could have tried that. It would
have been a done deal, so it would have been over.
But you know, it's it's definitely part of the game
that's you need.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yeah, But Brett, all respect to that quarterback that you
played and that's too bowl a while back. Did you
not see rogers on going for it fourth and inches
and he is like ten feet behind the scrum of
players just pointing in the down of the I don't
you have to have the quarterback that's willing.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
To put his nose into the tush push participation.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
All respected Rogers, but in Dublin he was like, no,
I'm not messing around with that group.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Did you see that?
Speaker 10 (20:25):
That surprised me because they mean that send eleven on ten,
you know, get in there. Looked like you were trying
to get a pint back there with the.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
Hands on the head.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Brett, like Kyle just mentioned, you played with some absolute legends.
All to the to the summation of the fact that
one of those dudes you have a pet and you
name that animal after a former teammate of yours.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Do I understand this correctly?
Speaker 3 (20:52):
You have a horse and his name is James, and
he was named after James Harrison.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
We need more about this story.
Speaker 5 (20:58):
Please, thank you for bringing in the farm.
Speaker 10 (21:01):
Oh yeah, I definitely love to name my animal after Steelers.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
I have.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
That's James right there. He was born on James.
Speaker 10 (21:09):
Harrison's birthday, May fourth, So I thought, what a better
way to, you know, be able to roll with my
guy wherever I want. Joe, Let's ride James, Let's ride.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
You know.
Speaker 10 (21:21):
It's been a lot of fun because James has come over. Yeah,
you could see us there. We had a birthday party.
He's got the birthday hats on. We have a ton
of fun. And I actually have some cows too, named
after Steelers.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
I have bull Cowur and I have Pickle the Bull.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
It's good stones Ward.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Right.
Speaker 5 (21:48):
It's a lot of fun. And our our farm is
totally stellered out nice.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Wow. All right, so you got to you gotta have
a pig named jack.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Hamburg there there. Now, I can do this all day.
I love that. Unbelievable, it's so great.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
I also listen, you got so many stories about you
and so much lore. I heard a story that when
you came to Pittsburgh that you really didn't understand or
even know who Dan Rooney was when he introduced himself
to you.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Is that true?
Speaker 5 (22:19):
It is?
Speaker 10 (22:20):
I knew nothing really about Pittsburgh. My images of Pittsburgh
was what I saw as a kid and books or anything.
Looked like a dark, still town, smoke and smog everywhere.
I was so shocked when I came through Fort pitt
Bridge there and you pop and we have a front
door on like anything else here in Pittsburgh, and they
take us down. I go in to the South Side facility.
(22:41):
You spend the day meeting everybody after your first coming there, and.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
He was the last guy I met. And I went
this room and there's a guy.
Speaker 10 (22:48):
With Khaki's on and he's just hanging out. He's got
like a polo shirt on and he's making copies at
a copier and I'm like, okay, you know, and they said, oh,
this is so and so, and I was like, hey,
you know, it's long in the day.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
Nice to meet you.
Speaker 10 (23:02):
And I walked out and I told my guy who
showing me around. I was like, man, that's awesome. You
guys hired like senior citizens and stuff around here.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
Oh my god, he said, what whoa what? What did
you just say it.
Speaker 10 (23:17):
I was like, that's really cool, and he's like, that's
the owner, buddy.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
Oh my gosh. But that's how the Rooneys are.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Man.
Speaker 10 (23:26):
They were like a family down here, and they're at everything.
You see them at every meal, you see him at
every practice. Mister Dan Rooney's right up here above me
on my left.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
You know.
Speaker 5 (23:37):
It was such a big part of our lives.
Speaker 10 (23:39):
And being able to have the chance to go over
to Dublin, where he was an ambassador for our country
was incredible, you know. And to see Steeler Nation take
it over like they did, and of course for the
team to pull out the big win was huge and
just a perfect fitting for our team and.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Our tan Brett.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
You're a legend, man, and as you mentioned in Dublin,
it really felt like everyone was so invested in what
the Steelers and the Rooney family wanted to put out
in the country and they did just that. Bret Easil,
you're the man, and listen, can I can I make
a request? I have the GMFB any more farm animals
that you name after Steelers?
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Can you just tag us so.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
We are up to the minute with this because we
feel like I can already see Kyle Brand's brain just
the wheels are turning with ideas.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
You got it, guys. I'm with you, man.
Speaker 10 (24:29):
Thank you guys so much for having me and you
guys are doing a great job.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
I appreciate it. There you go, there they are. That's
my team right there. That's the team. There's haying fellows.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
You need you need a cow call that Troy paul.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
We do got Paula mall. Yeah, I love all the
roster already there. But yeah, we'll definitely tag you guys.
And I know you guys can help me.
Speaker 10 (24:58):
I couldn't have done without Steeler Nation.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
They're the ones that kind of helped me with it
along the way. So I got to him.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
So good, well done.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Dawson Knock.
Speaker 7 (25:15):
Every time I see Pachaco on Hunt, I just think

Speaker 9 (25:36):
Oh, Kyle Brandt, we just had an angry run candidate.
Speaker 7 (25:40):
You actually said you win that sceptor.
Speaker 5 (25:43):

Speaker 11 (25:45):

Speaker 6 (25:46):

Speaker 11 (26:39):
Maybe our friends at liquid Death, the most Wonderful Felt
thurs Ice tease.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
This one's called rest in Peace. Yeah, let's get to
the street team, baby. Every single week.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
You guys send us pictures wearing this you have Thistle
Anger Run shirt from homage. If you want to see
who are finding the star this week, get in there
and let's bring him up. First of all, we got
our guy, Brian. Look at this kid's in full helmet and.
Speaker 11 (27:06):
Mouthguard, stiff Army what appears to be his own father
in gooling Angry Run shirts while Derrick Henry is frozen
in the background. I like the ball security, I like
the stiff.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
I'm through the face.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
That's an excellent submission. What's next? Next submission? Oh yes,
look what's going on in the driveway. This is Chuck
and Becky. Chuck's on a Nasty Hog like a Vikings motorcycle.
He appears to have his wife at four points, who
has a hell oft on. I love you guys, you're
a couple of freaks. That's my kind of party. But
(27:38):
our winner this week, our winner for the best submission
to the Angry Run Street Team is my guy Eric
and his son THEO. What's up? Eric and THEO. THEO
is inverted. Eric is fully angry the ball. He's got
a child upside down. You're the best part about it.
THEO loves it. Theo's having a blast like he's keeping
(28:00):
up foreign relations with.
Speaker 11 (28:01):
A Soviet nig. You know it's communicating the bird. Yes, Stel,
we know what the bird is.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
Absolutely often they are winner for this week, they become
now a finalist for the listen to this groove?
Speaker 4 (28:14):
Yeah, fin, it's your angriest photos. Do what those people
just to send? It's your veenest mug shots.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Now you don't have to buy or wear an Anger
Runs T shirt to qualify, but it won't hurt.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
So head over to Homage dot com and check them out.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Each week a winner will be selected like Erican theoslected
by need. That individual gets one hundred dollars Homage gift
card if you want. It's incredible that weekly winner Eric.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
And THEO will also become eligible.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
For the grand prize renights in a hotel and two
Angry tickets for Super Bowl sixty. Scan that QR code
or text anger runs to six three five six three
five for your.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Chance to win.
Speaker 11 (28:54):
How about that? That could be a segment, right there.
That is enough content. We're not even getting started yet.
We're not even to the tricklers before the movie. Those
are the commercials. I'm gonna hydrate. I'm gonna check out
my god, Dan Barracuda, who's just shredding for a living.
Should we get to last week's winner or should we
just sit here in shred for the remaining seven minutes
(29:15):
of the segment. Let's go back and check out last
week's winner, Indianapolis. You might remember they started three and
oh you also might remember a running back.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
Name Shonathan Taylor. Take it away, JG.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
This is Colts Titans, and this is Taylor turning a
grown tackler into some sort of surk to sole performer
in the middle of the play. Absolutely incredible. This guy says,
oh my god, who I is?
Speaker 4 (29:38):
I love him?
Speaker 11 (29:39):
I party with him? And Jonathan Taylor gets that reaction
with heat stiff arms.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Dude, Does he get a T shirt? Though? You know
he gets the shirt. I already got this thing on.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Damn. Look at that fucker immortalized scepter, a flaming skull
of fire.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Send them the actual sceptor though? Did he get it?
And the Colts organization get the sceptor. Does it so upward?
Does it go to spam? Check it out?
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Get in on of one of the coolest picture we
have taken in the history of this segment. Right now,
give me Colts ownership and Jonathan Taylor.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
For the love of God, there it is.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Here's your metal band, right here, your family hersaying win.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
For Jim on the sixth string. Now guy JT with
the scepter. I'ven't doing this a long time. I'm gonna
break character percent. This almost brought Turks mind.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
This is an unbelievable tribute to mister Hersay, an unbelievable
tribute to football, and an unbelievable set of devil horns
for angry runs. I love their say family, everybody in it.
I love the cults. I love Donathan Taylor. You know
what I love even more? Oh my god, what have
we got this week? Let's get into it. Who's our
first amission? Jackson Dars?
Speaker 4 (30:45):
What you know why? I love this?
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Rich is a rookie quarterback in it's first start at
home on a third and shot with the lead in
the fourth quarter. And hell, of course Missus Dart is there.
Missus Dart was on red zone more than the Browns
on Sunday Cuckoo Ku Chew, Missus Dart, full respect and
full respect to your son, who says, today, look at that,
that's the Anakin Skywalker.
Speaker 4 (31:08):
And he says, this is when the fun begins.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
And it sure does on this play and this win
and maybe this.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Season for Jackson Dark.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
Some of the bit angry runs are purely physical, some
of them are also psychological. This one, never mind, Missus Dark.
I'm talking about mister Dark, the sun right there, who
lowers the souldier.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
I absolutely love it. Jackson Dark can become.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
The second giant to win a Center after my guy
Am Wambam Scatabo.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
But you know who's next. Oh, this next one is
absolutely filthy.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Tyrone Williams from the Rams. Tyron did something you just
don't see. Incredible run, but watch the action here. I'm
gonna hit you again and then I gotta point at you. Oh, Tyron,
you're supposed to be a notre dame guy. I thought
you guys all put light like van' Ti Tao. He's
almost over. He's like, yeah, I got him right here. Oh,
I got him again on the jaw and now he's
(31:54):
gonna be nominous, straight up meme you in the middle
of the run, guys. I see a lot of this
stuff after the run. I see a lot of it
after the game. This is in the middle of the run, and.
Speaker 11 (32:06):
It takes me back into this encyclopedia catalog I have
of all the Angry Runs.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
The twenty seventy teams. Do you remember, Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Leonard Fournette this before he was playoff Lenny.
Speaker 11 (32:16):
This is Jaguars Lenny with a stiff arm to the face.
And then in the middle of the run he summons
a tackler.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
He says to me, scorpion dude, over here, right here,
and you get the hell out of the way with
the mushpace. This is a beautiful thing. Twenty seventeen is
eight years ago now, and he says, let's get it on.
You know, I remember it was. I was there, man,
I was on the front lines of the Angry Runs world.
I saw things I couldn't forget, and I had videotape.
(32:44):
Here's me in twenty seventeen, hyping Leonard Fournette's by means
of Kyrine Williams just paid amends. Do umbrol it if
we saw something on Sunday that I have never seen
on any level of football ever, and Leonard Fournette summoned
him for contact.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
Here, let's do that. Ever said that I'm loly, I'm
looking at Oh.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
My gosh, by the way, never mind the stiff farm
on good by your face.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
Okay, this check this out.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Though this is never made over said let's do this.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
Oh my gosh, we love it.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
And Matt eight years from now, we're looking back to
this day when we're hyping him. Wilkins, you know who
needs to be hyped right now. And Barracudas still shredding
and Bearcutz. This is the real iron man. Cal Ripkin
take one two thousand yards.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
This is an incredible display of endurance. Nobody needs. He
needs to hydrate with some root beer. Wrath from liquid death.
Come here, brother, you just keep shredding.
Speaker 11 (33:37):
Yeah, rock and row, let's go.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
We got one more anger runner. He's gonna keep shredding.
You're gonna keep watching. I'm gonna start running because guess
who is this? Guys? This one, this one I said
almost just.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Layout all right here look at a Maray and Hampton
from the charges. Go go, it's just getting started.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
Go go.
Speaker 11 (33:57):
He's still going, Yes, Oh my god, this is amazing.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
I saw this sucker, and I said, can we cancel
this segment this week? Look at the alien Jim Harbaugh
absolutely losing his mind.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
Who tackles us? Nobody? This rookie should not be running
this way.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Look at this right here, he's got a holland falling
right off. If I'm like, he's worrying wooden shoes.
Speaker 11 (34:20):
This one goes to La Danian Tomlinson. This one goes
to Natron means Business, Mary and Butch, Jacob Bleeping Hester.
Look at the sinew and the musculature is giants?
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Bug?
Speaker 11 (34:31):
Do you think I care? The charge is gonna win
this game? That's not what this segment is about. I've
told you for eight years.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
Omarion Hampton, Oh and even the all that teens, I've
been around a long time.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
I've never seen some of that. Believe that's it, guys.
We're gonna come on over to dan arracouta rift name.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
I promise ooh who the house you guys talking over?
We're just gonna shred Jackson Dart Hyron Williams. I have
never had a better time in my life. Never mind,
it works ever in life, in my free time, I
would do this all day and I probably will LA
takeover listens.
Speaker 5 (35:03):
But there's no little Boston.
Speaker 8 (35:05):
Old Barty Hampton, old day long high stepping on him.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Boys.
Speaker 7 (35:09):
Well, I told you yesterday kV when I chose kyn
Williams Run, that I was gonna choose Kyle Williams Run
the dating when I got tyrons for my nominee.
Speaker 3 (35:17):

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Right, my friend?
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Yeah, great idea.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
Jamie always execut producing the segment.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
I absolutely love it.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
By the way, update on Dan Barracudah, he just sold
out Madison Square Gardener tonight.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
Everybody go. It's a solo show. All he does is
shred for four hours.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Everybody come and esth the size you're gonna leave loving
it for my man Man Matacudah, and for my winner
from the Los Angeles Chargers.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
Oh Man in Hampton. You could bye camera man Paul.
But two, this all thematically angry runs boom. See you
next week.
