Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Good Morning Football.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
What's happening, good people?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
This is Good Morning Football present of my old trapper
Beef Turkey, Live in LA, Live in New York. It's Wednesday,
December eighteen. This is Akwarabas should.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Be a Miller. There's Peter Schrager, There's Kyle Brandt.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Oh my goodness, have we been burying the lead with
all this Mahomes talk? Because there is a game this
weekend between the state of Pennsylvania and the state of Maryland.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
And we got to talk about it today.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
You guys, this is fantastic Saturday on Fox Peter.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Late afternoon Fox Brady on the call in Baltimore for
Ravens versus Steelers. You know, the Steelers have owned the
Ravens eight of the last nine times, and Marlon Humphrey
this week said he doesn't like that. Let's see how
this is. I cannot wait for this Saturday.

Speaker 6 (01:05):
Great, let's do it? Do?

Speaker 4 (01:07):
We have drones on the front and back cover of
the New York Post today.

Speaker 7 (01:10):
Kyle, listen, we ain't joking with the drone talk around
here is like we're getting really worried about the Levy talk. Yeah,
it's like we're like ready to start, like buying a
gasoline and bottled water, and how's that earthquake in La?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Not that.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
I was just checking about the editorial decisions of the
Post today.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
That's it.

Speaker 8 (01:27):
That's more than an all twenty two copy. That's like
an all you know, all million copies.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
That's true, way zoomed out.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
All right, rap sheet, Let's focus on football news, shall we.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Ian Rappabor, Good morning to you. Big changes in Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Some say they saw it coming, but now they have
a decision. They have a decision made at quarterback.

Speaker 9 (01:44):
Whether or not anyone saw it coming, it is massive news,
seismic news for the Atlanta Falcons. Ad long last Michael
Pennix Junior, their first round draft pick, someone who I
would say was the most controversial draft pick we've seen
in the first round in a very very long time,
is now the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.

Speaker 10 (02:03):
Where he Moore's.

Speaker 9 (02:04):
Announcing this news late last night, and you're right, I
think a lot of people were wondering about.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
This was it time? Just based on the physical.

Speaker 9 (02:11):
Limitation of Kirk Cousins and the turnovers, and you know
Raheem Morris said at postcape, even after a win, the
player quarterback was not good enough. And all during practice
this whole year, they've met Michael Penick Junior really oppressing
them physically but also mentally. It seemed in training camp
they were pretty clear this guy knew the playbook.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
And was ready to execute it.

Speaker 9 (02:30):
It has been Kirk Cousin's show until now, knowing that
Pennix was the.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Quarterback of the future.

Speaker 9 (02:35):
The future is now for the Atlanta Falcons, Michael Pennicks
Junior gets the start.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Meanwhile, for the Kansas City Chiefs, they.

Speaker 9 (02:43):
Got some also really good news for Patrick Mahomes. Yesterday
We're all were wondering about his high ankle sprain. How
is he going to practice? What was he going to
practice at all? Instead of just kind of going out
there and practicing, he actually practiced fully, stting the stage
for Patrick Mahomes to play on a short week on
a high ankle sprain in a huge game with the
potential locking up.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
The number one seed.

Speaker 9 (03:04):
It is all there for Kansas City and it does
seem at least possible that they're going to have their
star quarterback out there.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
This is mind bending, this situation with Patrick Mahomes. Thank
you so much, because you consider.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
What the Chiefs could have.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
They could attain the number one overall seed in the playoffs,
they have a bye week in the playoffs. This is heavy,
heavy stuff when it comes to the health and well
being of your entire team. But if they drop and
the Bills come running, then you have to play your
quarterback knowing that you just don't have that sealed up yet.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
So the Chiefs are no stranger to that number one
overall seat. But how do the Chiefs manage this situation? Peter?
Moving forward, now that we know a little bit more
than we.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Did yesterday when we had this conversation about Patrick Mahomes
in the game.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
On Saturday, Jamie, you were spot on.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
It's almost like you need to take out a calculator
and advocates and kind of do the math here and see,
because if they had one more win or the Bills
had one less win, then you could just rest.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Them and like we're good, we're fine.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
They need to win two the next three to confirm
that they are going to still be the number one
seed to the next three. However, their next three games
involved the Texans, the Steelers, and the Broncos, three teams
that are all going to be playing their hearts out
to try to get into the playoffs or try to
solidify where they are in the playoff field. So what
do you do with Mahomes what It was a full
participant yesterday, but he even said it. He's like, you

(04:21):
don't want to put yourself in harm's way. You don't
want to do anything to get in the way of
the team. And if I'm just sitting there in the
pocket and I'm not moving, that could be harmful. The
Texans have the second most sacks in the league. They
have this great defensive line, and.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
It's a short week.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I would think you give Carson Wentz the start this week.
Let's just say you go with Wentz, all right, and
you put went in, and Wentz says, well enough, whether
you win or lose, they are home. It's not like
they can they're gonna fall apart and lose thirty one
to three. Here they still have one of the best
defense in the league, and Wentz has.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Played in this league. Then you have a four day
rest to prepare for another game.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
Now, I think if you win, you bench Mahomes the
rest of the way. If you can beat the Texans
with Patrick Mahomes out, you bench him and you let
Wentz go Christmas, and you let Wentz.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Go Denver and we figure it out from there.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
If you lose and Buffalo, of course wins against the Patriots,
well then you're one more loss away from losing that
home set. I think the focus right now should be
on Christmas. And do you play Mahomes on Christmas? And
I think you have to play him if you lose
this weekend. So that's how I would manage it. I
would go with Wentz. I would give it my all.
I would try to win with Wentz, and if you win,

(05:31):
pat enjoy your Christmas. Sorry Netflix, Sorry NFL. It's a
really weird conversation, but like that's what I would do.
And then if you lose, it's like, Mahomes ice it up,
shoot it up, whatever you gotta do, roll it out there.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
We're playing.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
We got to win this game against Pittsburgh.

Speaker 10 (05:44):
Oh Peter, you speak in my language.

Speaker 8 (05:46):
I sit up, shoot it up, like I mean, those
are the things that make you feel good. I mean,
you'd get rid of the inflammation. And when you're playing,
when you're playing.

Speaker 10 (05:56):
That's clear.

Speaker 8 (05:56):
But I look at Carson Wentz and I hear Andy Reid,
and I hear Andy Reid saying that he could be
a starter anywhere else, and that gives me a lot
of confidence. Now, the athlete and the dog inside of
me says, I want to see Patrick Mahomes all the time.
I want to see him go out there, do the
Willis reed limp out there, throw the heroic touchdowns and
win the game. But when you're talking about doing the

(06:17):
mathematics of it all, then you want to say, well,
hold on, if Andy Reid believes in Carson Wentz he
could be a starter anywhere, I believe him because if
anybody can do that and make somebody who a lot
of people have given up on and turn them into
a hero, it's Andy Reed a lah Alex Smith when
he came over, and Alex Smith became the star. So
I say exactly what you're saying to put in Carson Wentz.

(06:40):
Give him an opportunity to rest, meaning Patrick Mahomes. Give
him that opportunity to rest, because it is going to
be critical because the end goal is that Super Bowl,
and right now they're still hot, they're still winning and
Carson Wentz. He knows how to win. He's done it before.
So Carson Wentz, let's go Ben. You're the Netflix show.
Everyone's streaming you right now, and I can hear that

(07:00):
loud insound coming the Netflix in sound boom, just like that.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
But then.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
I'm with you, guys.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
I think they should play Carson Wentz. I think they
will play Carson Wentz. And this is fascinating because this
is not some run of the mill backup quarterback who
comes in and you just sort of vaguely remember him everybody
you meet us. We have a deep history with Carson Wentz.
It's a long, long story to get here. And now
he's sitting in a position where, in a roundabout way,
Carson Wentz could determine who plays in the super Bowl.

(07:28):
That's this big of a role right now that he's in.
So why don't we just get up to speed a
little bit. Let's go back on a quick journey and
remember how we got here, Who Carson Wentz is, who
he Isn't you know how this went number two overall
pick to the Eagles. The Rams took Jared Goff. Carson
Wentz would end up playing for the Rams.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
I'll get there shortly. It happened, but you know the deal.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
MVP front Runner, incredible, he was probably the biggest story
in the league. Blows out his knee in the LA Coliseum.
The team goes on to win the Super Bowl with
the backup.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
He has a faith based.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
Food truck that Mike Garrafolo covered extensively called that Kingdom Crumb.
But an incredible player who at one point felt like
he was the future of the NFL. Eventually draft Jalen
Hurts and Carson Wentz is gone. Twenty twenty one, he
goes to the Indianapolis Colts and he was very good
twenty seven touchdown, seven picks, but the Colts were nine
to six and they lost their last two games to

(08:16):
the Raiders and a two and fourteen Jaguars team to
miss the playoffs.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
He was traded for a mid round pick swap.

Speaker 7 (08:23):
Side note, the defensive coordinator of that Colts team was
hired by the Bears to become their head coach. Next,
he goes to Washington, an old Eagles rival. I remember
he showed up to the press conference in a Garris
suits that he heard a lot about, which is still
now his Wikipedia profile. Pick which I don't think is fair.
Played pretty well. Each of his first two starts. He
had three hundred yards and three touchdowns. I don't remember

(08:44):
that he broke his ring finger on his throwing hand.
In week six, went on ir Taylor Heineke took over
and Wentz never got the back. He was released. Then
we get this iconic photo. You remember this one. This
is when Wentz is like, what is going on with
my career? We got an Eagles helmets, the Washington Jersey
Colts shorts and that could be it?

Speaker 6 (09:05):
Not even close.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Twenty twenty three, in the middle of the season, signs
with the Rams. This is last year he played for
the Rams. This is the best part. Week eighteen, he
plays for the Rams. It's the Carson Wentz Rams versus
the Sam Darnold Niners. How weird is that Wentz again
played pretty well, got to comeback win in the end
with a two point conversion to two to two at
Well and it's like, oh, maybe he'll stay in the Rams.

(09:27):
Didn't stay on the Rams, was released. Finally, back in April,
Carson Wentz, on stop number five, is signed by the
world champion Chiefs.

Speaker 6 (09:36):
To back up Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
It happened, not midseason, not in training camp, way back
in the offseason.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
This is last week.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
Mahomes gets hurts, Wentz comes in plays pretty well.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Fine.

Speaker 7 (09:47):
Now we're at the point where I think he's going
to start a game with the one seed in the
AFC on the line. This is a quarterback with over
twenty three thousand yards with over one hundred and fifty touchdowns.
He is far more pedigreed and successful than any backup
in the Patrick Mahomes era is one one of the
most trusted experienced backups in all of the NFL. I

(10:08):
don't know if he's gonna put up huge stats this week.
You know who else doesn't put up huge stats, Patrick Mahomes.
This is a different Chiefs team. Come in, run defense,
throw here, throw here.

Speaker 11 (10:19):
Win.

Speaker 7 (10:19):
I think if he wins this game, he looks good.
You get a luxury if you know, maybe we run
Carson back again on Christmas and let Patrick rest up.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
All of a sudden, out of nowhere.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
We woke up a few days ago and Carson Wentz
is one of the most pivotal players in the entire NFL,
and we got a deep history.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
It's faster and how fitting is it look at that
Chiefs roster.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
It's all about redemption and second chances.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Kareem Hunt, Matt Riza, Juju Smith, Schuster, DeAndre Hopkins is
now you know the star number one wide receiver refere
is written off by so many people.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
You go up and down that roster.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
It is Andy Reid saying, oh, the rest of the
league thought that they couldn't have you on their roster
or that you were done. Let me give you an opportunity.
Carson went to be the ultimate redemption story, especially if
he wins this game and then I'm telling you if
on Christmas Day car Arson wentz Trot's out there and
beata Steelers in Pittsburgh, It's an amazing story and it
adds to this Chiefs, this Chiefs dynasty. It's just another
wrinkle in it. Just like Chad Henny's famous run against

(11:13):
the Broom.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
He's gonna have to go wristband for the Rams, ristband
for the Chiefs like we have. We're running out of
accessories for him for once to warm up with in
the offseason. Listen, we know there was news out of
Atlanta yesterday with the quarterback situation. We're gonna get to
Michael Pennock Junior and the decision that was finally made
in Atlanta here on GMFB.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
But this conversation we just had.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Is important because Christmas is just one week away. It's
a brilliant doubleheader on Netflix coming your way up. First,
one pm Eastern, Chiefs in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Who is going to be under center? We're in that
red helmet.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Then we moved to four thirty pm Eastern. It's the
Texas playing host to the Ravens Christmas Day doubleheader on Netflix.
It's gonna be awesome, and a couple of good halftime
shows as well.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Coming up. We got to get moving here on the
show Busy first hour. You won't want to miss this.
Peter Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Week fifteen edition of Schraeger's bab five. Is there a
rookie in Tennessee is going to take home a scepter
and a top five.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
To Andre sweat At a very good week.

Speaker 5 (12:10):
Let's let's see if he makes it on this list.
We'll get their vote next three touchdowns, also the three picks.
Is he a top five rookie? We'll get it all
in after.

Speaker 7 (12:18):
This somehow with the Titans gotta get in the playoff.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
I don't care how it works. I need Andre sweat
in the playoffs. All right.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
So you know that Nicholas Cage is playing John Madden.
All right, We've talked about that. It's still incredible to
see those two photographs. Did you know that Christian Bale
is going to be playing Al Davis?

Speaker 6 (12:33):
Like it is?

Speaker 7 (12:34):
This gonna be a crossover world? Is there an expanded
universe where they're in the same movies? Guys, We're gonna
cast some other parts in the NFL that we think
need the proper thespian.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
We'll get into it right after that. Just win, baby.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Do you want me to turn down your lights? Good
morning football?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Here we go, coming down your chimney.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
We have whiteboard Wednesday in our sack of gifts. Today,
the Arizona Cardinals caught a fan letting loose, showing off
all the dance moves from last weekend.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
This guy is legendary.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
First of all, I think it's the mustache. Is the hat,
it's the long sleeve under the T shirt tucked in.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Now we lose the hat.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
Oh, he's going all in. He's just mixing up all
the dances. Everything he remembers from the nineties. I don't
know that's what that.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Oh my okay, I know. I mean this is like
ty bo oh, there's more. It's gonna just keep going.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Listen, just so get all in, soak it all in
and consider this.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Oh no, oh no.

Speaker 10 (13:47):
That's Michael Jackson did that.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
He's not done.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Win did pick this the team down the playoffs and
as you feeling like that guy, this is really an
important selection.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
That guy this seam down the playoffs, wretch.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
I'll due respect to Kendrick Lamar if they just had
that guy come out at halftime Super Bowl and do that, like,
I'm very satisfied.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
I don't need the team's plan. It's just putting that guy.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
I have entertained. This is good television.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Okay, down these.

Speaker 7 (14:20):
Videos and it's somebody at Coachella or Ultra Move. I
don't know what planet they're on. This guy is just
in a Cardinals game. He's I love it, thank you.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
I hadn't watched all the way till he's down and dead,
and then.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
He's dead and he emerges for one last dance.

Speaker 6 (14:36):
I want to meet this man's great.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
This is awesome.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
It sounds like a perfect good morning football guess.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
Yeah, Peter from the neck up. You don't expect it, dude.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
No, it's it looks like Paul Giamani. Right, cut it.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
We cut it where that when he first starts standing there,
he looks very sheepish about committing the move, right.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Thank you for that?

Speaker 10 (14:54):
No, thank you? No, not you put that's a lot
of work, a lot of calories.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
So Kendrick, you could take the week off super Bowl week.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
We'll go with that guy. I'll go with this guy
right here.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
This is Matt Lafleura and the Green Bay Packers are
They are a treat to watch right now. They're rolling
And I know there's a lot of teams in winning streaks,
and I know there's a lot of teams that are
playing good football, but it seems like this is a
team that's putting.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
It all together at the right time. And I'm biased here.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
I took the Packers to win the NFC and go
to the Super Bowl. So when things are looking a
little bleak with Malik Willis early on and they were
losing some games to in Division fos vikings to the Lions,
and I don't know if they're gonna do it. They
look like they can fight those games and fight those
with those teams. I'm gonna go with the Packers right now.
They're playing good football and they're cresting at the right time.

Speaker 11 (15:36):
Here.

Speaker 10 (15:37):
You know who else is playing good football?

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Who's got it?

Speaker 8 (15:40):
Buffalo Bill You think they got me dancing like that?
And they're just sitting there. I ain't tworking here, man,
working for me? But I love that their schedule just
really reads like a three week by week that's exactly
what they have. I'm like, oh man, this is easy
after I mean just watching them and just kind of
really the Buffalo Bills has just grown on me this season.
But I love the way Josh Allen is playing, I

(16:02):
love the run game. Everything about what we've seeing so
far this season is.

Speaker 10 (16:06):
Going to stay true. With the Patriots, the Jets, the Patriots.

Speaker 8 (16:10):
Come on, tell me, that's not the first three week
by week we've ever seen in the NFL. Okay, maybe
not the first, but it's for sure.

Speaker 7 (16:17):
I'm gonna say the Tampa Bay Bucks just because I'm
so excited by Baker and but here's what I have
on my board.

Speaker 6 (16:21):
Just show the guy again, Just show the dude.

Speaker 7 (16:23):
Come on, yeah, whoever he is, I'm not kidding.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
We've shown more of this guy than Cardinals highlights three
sixteen weeks of the season.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
So I think for the last five years of Cardinals football. Fine,
I think this. I love Kyler. I think this is
the Cardinals right here.

Speaker 7 (16:37):
This is this guy's great Don't ever lose the mustache,
don't ever shave the head. Leave it just how it is, Jamie.
That's all I got, as you should.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
It's a lematic of some seams.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
They lay, they they're all They lay on the ground
and then slowly but surely.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
They come off the ground.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
And here we are, and no doubt it should be
the new Undertaker gift. We've done nothing for years enough
with the Undertaker's sitting up show that guy getting up
by his butt.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
I'm string that's it.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
That's hard to do.

Speaker 10 (17:02):
I bet you are. You gotta have Corse strength for Betwe.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
All right, we're all entertainment here today. This is what
we have found out over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Nicholas Cage.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
We know he's going to portray John Madden in the
upcoming biopic, and we recently learned that Christian Baiale will
play Al Davis. Christian Bale Al Davis, Nick Cage, John Madden.
She was a current NFL figure, non play whatever NFL figure,
and the actor to portray this person.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Peter all Right, I.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Got going through like the luminaries of the current NFL
and you're thinking about the commissioner Roger Goodell, You're thinking about.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Dan Campbell's having a big moment, Josh Allen.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
I don't think anyone is the face of the NFL
right now more than our friend at the NFL Network
and our friend who takes us through every Sunday. I
want Patrick Dempsey, the world's sexiest man from a year ago,
as Scott Hansen.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Can I see guys? I see it? Do you see it?
I see it.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Hanson will be the voice of whatever movie is going
to be about the twenty twenty four season, and I
want Patrick Dempsey McDreamy to come on there and be him.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Hanson has been incredible this season, and I think.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
He has fully taken over as like any like voiceover
or narrator of like of like what the football John
Facenda And now it's Scott Hanson. So I'm gonna say
Patrick Dempsey is Scott Hanson. Scott, you know we love
you and respect your work. Seven hours and sometimes commercial
free football.

Speaker 7 (18:27):
Patrick Dempsey is gonna have to beat out like the greats.
I think it's like and the Oscar goes to Benedict's
Cumberbatch as Scott like they all want it, like that
is a role.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
Yeah, it's like they're all fighting for that raydel dan.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Lewis out of retirements for Scott Henson.

Speaker 7 (18:42):
You know, Daniel Lewis will do seven years of method
acting and doing red zone and octoboxes and witching.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
Hours just to get it right. I'm so into this.

Speaker 10 (18:50):
That's cool.

Speaker 8 (18:51):
You know, Wilson's really good at method acting. And this
is a very good one here. This one is Charlie
Sheen as Jim Ersay. And you think about how eccentric
these two are. You think about the vulnerility, you think
about they got a little bit of rebel in them
as well. But I think that Charlie Sheen could really
embody Jim Ersay. And I could see him kind of

(19:13):
going through buying the music, guitars and going through I
could just see it all of him being that owner. So,
Charlie Sheen, you might want to put your name out
there for this one because it's a great story to tell.

Speaker 6 (19:23):
Well, the Colts for a while we're doing winning, but
had a tough game last week.

Speaker 7 (19:27):
I'm I was trying really hard to cast McVeigh. I
was thinking, I thought Tom Hardy could do a great McVeigh,
maybe one of the Chris is Pine or one of those.

Speaker 6 (19:36):
But you want a character, right, you want the ultimate character.

Speaker 7 (19:39):
So I thought of Mike McDaniel, and you know he's
playing him Killian Murphy. I want right there, that's who
I want as Mike McDaniel. We go from Oppenheimer to this.
I hear his might play Voldemort's in the new series.
This is put some glasses on him, put some little
Miami flavor in them. You're gonna perm that hair, You're
gonna put the little beard. This is the one that
I want. The Academy where I mean that. Can't you

(20:00):
just picture him doing that voice and he goes from
the Irish accent. He's doing the voice and he's down
on the sideline. This is must see filmmaking. Killian as McDaniel.

Speaker 10 (20:09):
Kill it.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
I don't know if I'm want to break anybody's heart
by telling you that the dancing guy from the Cardinals game,
he might he's a YouTuber apparent.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Oh yeah, so like he wasn't.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Of course he was planted guys, but like.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
I wanted, I didn't want him to be like so performative.

Speaker 8 (20:24):
We're like, oh, you wanted to be authentic, you wanted
to be real, Dad feels.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
I guess, Jamie, I thought you were going to break
our hearts by telling us he's married.

Speaker 6 (20:31):
I love this guy, look at him, superstar.

Speaker 7 (20:34):
Damn, Dad feels, who's gonna play him in the movie?

Speaker 3 (20:38):
Is that obvious? Some guys like that are planted. We're
gonna talk offline about that. I really thought that.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
That's now. I wish he's too good. They do in
the jumbotront a lot. They'll bring up some guy and
be like, oh there.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
Then he certainly gets professionally like ah yeah, all right.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
So that guy is the exact opposite of our next question.
Kayleb William's body language on the bench during Monday night
football against the Vikings. It's said a lot without really
saying anything at all. With the holiday season in full,
there must be a chore and obligation, perhaps even a
tradition that you must engage in that makes you feel
so fried and exhausted that you are now embodying.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Caleb Williams.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Peter Yep looking at that picture, and I'll tell you
what I feel. And this is as someone who travels
every single weekend Peter okay during the football season, and
takes my little carry on bag and my little backpack
that says NFL Media on it. And I go to
the airport and I got to it, and I'm a professional.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
I have my spots.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
I go in, I get, I get to my airport,
I go to my little kiosk, I get my thing.
I go I wait to get You're all amateurs and.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
I know you're coming. Just get out of my way.
I know you're coming. The airport.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
From December twenty second to January second, it is like
it's like sodom and gomora.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I want nothing to do with it. And it's just
that it's the.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
World is melting, and everyone's the first time they've ever
been inside an airport. They have their three kids, they're
all sick, they all have tissues.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Then they get on the plane and it's like the
plane lands and the.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
Guy sitting in thirty seventy and he sprints to the
front and then his wife, though has her bag all
the way back there.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
So you got to go back there. It's amateur hour.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
I know, New Year's Even is supposed to be amateur night,
amateur hour at the airport.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Just get out of the way.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
Just try to make this as easy and seamless as
possible for everybody.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
I beg of you, thank you.

Speaker 10 (22:18):
This is really good here.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
I really good people who work out a lot, people
who are trainers or muscleheads or anything. I would say
the first week in January is hell on Earth at
the gym because it's all the new hair closers. It's
airport time for you, isn't it pro My gosh.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Arl, I know what you're talking I know you know
what I'm talking about here.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
It's like surprised that you're I'm surprised that you flex
on people with an NFL media backpack. That's what I
picked up on, Like, yeah, I feel like you want
to fly under the radar and your people are going
to stop you be like sure, are you a part
of NFL media.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
That's a conversation.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
So you know, it's not something I thought you would
engage in.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
You know why I use it, you know, because it
was free.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Aga.

Speaker 10 (22:49):
Yeah, if it's free, it's for me.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Yeah, I like it.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
I was more.

Speaker 8 (22:53):
Impressed with the fact that you spotted the dude in
thirty seventy, Like, where were you sitting so fornoculars?

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Okayter paces.

Speaker 7 (23:02):
You know there's a thing where sometimes you ride with
people you don't know, and it's a large plane and
it's not private, and there's more than six seats.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
I have thirty seven rows of seats. It's crazy. Man.
You should try it sometimes. I know you won't, but
you should.

Speaker 8 (23:14):
No, I actually love commercial I love sitting in the back.

Speaker 10 (23:17):
That's what I love. Sitting in the back. That's that's
what all the fun happens.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
I'm gonna tell you that obligation, the Holloway obligation that
really gets me exhausted and also beats me up, is
this setting up a fake Christmas tree. I thought that
I was doing something special this year. I said, you
know what, I'm gonna save the earth and environment and
I'm gonna get a you know, a fake Christmas tree.

Speaker 10 (23:40):
No more getting the tree in the house. Man.

Speaker 8 (23:43):
I don't know if you guys have ever done this before,
but this is a real issue. I told my wife,
I'm gonna set this thing up and I'm gonna put
it together, and I'm taking all this thing and I
went in straight raw dog, no gloves, and I start
to set it up. This thing will give you micro
abrasions all on your hand and have your hands so
jacked up. I needed a and d ointment. It is

(24:03):
the absolute worse. And it took me an hour just
to set up the base and fluff up all of
the fake little needles. It's the absolute worst. I think
I want to go back to a regular Christmas tree
because that's too much.

Speaker 10 (24:15):
Work for a Christmas tree.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
I hope you took that throughout the dinner for a dog.
Oh my gosh, All right, here we go. Last night
I went a throwback. I took my young son to
the mall. We went to the shopping mall, actually an
actual shopping mall. I got them an Antian's pretzel. We
hit the food court. And here's my answer, because I
made a purchase for my wife. You take your kid
to the mall, you buy something for your wife. But

(24:37):
they had they couldn't. They didn't have it there. They
had to ship it to me. The shipping industry right
now around gift giving time. God bless you people and
your real heroes, and you're working your butts off.

Speaker 6 (24:45):
I get it. But I sit here and I buy
this gift and I'm.

Speaker 7 (24:47):
Really putting myself out there and I found it and
they're like, we can ship it to you. I'm like, great,
when will it arrive? And they're like, it will arrive
on December twenty fourth.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Real risk.

Speaker 7 (24:56):
It's really white knuckling it, and it's like, can you guarantee?

Speaker 6 (24:59):
Unfortunately we don't guarantee.

Speaker 7 (25:01):
And then sometimes you buy something, you get these windows
sometime between the twenty third and the twenty fifth. It
drives me crazy. I've already have too much stress in
my life. I waited too long to buy the gifts.
And you know what the worst part was when I said,
you know what, I'll roll the dice on the twenty fourth.
Let's screw it, I'll live wild. They say, now it
is signature required. What am I gonna do about that?
Then you're gonna show up a my wife's gonna be
there's just gonna see what it is, or be no

(25:23):
one's gonna be there. We're gonna put that stupid Coca
maade me little note on the door that says we
approved to leave it. But then they're like, no, they're
not allowed, and then you know what they do if
they don't. If you're not there when they bring it,
they bring it to the depot, like the UPS depot.
Have you ever been to one of those hells on Earth?
You show up and it makes the DMV look like Disneyland.
You show up and here's my little slip, and they're like, no,

(25:43):
this isn't right. Where's the other? I don't have the
other slip. I get this somewhere back there. My entire
Merry Christmas, and really probably my marriage is waiting back
in some cargo hold and I can't get to it.
I am so stressed by the shipping industry. This day
is great people. I love Amazon and UPS and all
you guys. You just made me sit at the door,
white knuckling it for weeks and I don't know if
they're getting the gift on time.

Speaker 10 (26:02):
Shout out to DHL too, you know you find van.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Yeah, sure you could fix this problem and not go
yesterday to the mall or whenever day that was.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Kid, can't do it, No, you like to do it? Okay.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
I run the two minute drill when it comes.

Speaker 10 (26:16):
That's that.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
My best in the no huddle I'm want to participate
in this one just because I feel like this is
very real for all the families. Why are there so
many different types of white lights? Okay, I'm going to
home depot, I'm going to the big box store. And
I come home with five of what I thought was
the same box because I'm trying to also address the
massive fake Christmas tree we have in our house. And

(26:39):
I come in, I'm plugging them in and I'm wrapping
them around, and I got gloves on, and all of
a sudden, I plug the next strand in and I'm like,
why is that strand different than that strand? They were
in the same aisle, on the same shelf at the
same big box store. And I come home, then I
gotta go back to that place and say why what Well,
someone must have returned that strip. And this happens all
the time. Why why is this a thing? Because I'm

(27:01):
a white light person, don't come at me with the color,
with the color or full light people, okay, and the
twinkling and the not No, it needs to be just one.
It's the crystal clear white lights. That's the only option,
and that's warm lights go away.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
It's driving me crazy.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
And these people that return strands that are broken to
that store.

Speaker 8 (27:20):
Hold on, now, like there's there are levels to this now,
Like they're the color lights and then they are the
temperature lights.

Speaker 10 (27:26):
Which temperature did you go in? Specifically what I'm saying seven.

Speaker 8 (27:28):
Hundred three thousand, thirty five hundred four thousand with the
one you go.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
With, you know, the different temperatures.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
Oh absolutely, I got nothing. One clear white that's all.
I got clear white lights. Like it's just my gosh,
welcome back, everybody.

Speaker 12 (27:41):
I'm Shery Burns. The Lions looking to get back to
their winning ways.

Speaker 6 (27:45):
On Sunday when they take on the Bears.

Speaker 12 (27:46):
The Lions lost to the Bills in week fifteen. If
you remember any Detroit's eleven game winning streaking, well, no
team ever wants to.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
Lose a game. Head coach chan Campbell says.

Speaker 12 (27:56):
It might not be the worst thing in the world
for his team to lose.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
Listen, you know what happened to is, you know, you
win eleven or a row, you know, and you lose
and then the sky falls and I hate to say it,
but we're not going to be able to win eleven
in a row again for the rest of this season.
We're just not going to be able to do it.
And you know what happens is you get used to
eating file at and I'm talking to all of us
and everything's good, life's good, you know, And but you

(28:23):
forgot what it was like when you had nothing and
you ate your molded bread, you know, and it was
just fine, and it gave you everything you needed. And
sometimes you got to get punched in the mouth and
remember what it used to be like to really appreciate
where you are. And we'll do that. And so we
got a bad taste in our mouth. We got kicked
him around the other day, we lost a few guys,

(28:44):
and you know what, it's exactly what we needed.

Speaker 12 (28:47):
Well, coming up, we can't close the book on Week
fifteen until we highlight the rookie standout performances.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
You know what that means.

Speaker 12 (28:53):
Schrager's Fabulous five is next. So don't go and.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Good mon football, all right, it's Schrager's fab five. We
get the top five rookie performances of the week.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Some love.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
It was a really interesting week with a lot of
great performances.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
But how do we stack them up?

Speaker 5 (29:21):
We're gonna start off with number five down in Jacksonville.
For for the second straight week, Brian Thomas Junior makes
the list. They were up against the Jets. They lost
the game in dramatic fashion, but.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Thomas was awesome again. Ten catches, one hundred and.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
Five receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns. Brian Thomas is becoming
the Fantasy football like must start, maybe the most consistent
receiver in the league. He's the sixth rookie in the
first since Jamaar Chase in the Super Bowl era with
ten catches, one hundred receiving yards and two touchdown catches
in a single game.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Brian Thomas is that dude.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
He's got sixty four catches, nearly one thousand receiving yards,
and eight receiving touchdowns in twenty twenty four. That makes
him third in receptions, getting receiving yards, and first and
touchdowns among all rookies.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Very rarely to put a guy.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
From a losing team on here, and I'm telling you
this guy is going to be a star.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Number four. Welcome back to the list. Jayden Daniels.

Speaker 5 (30:19):
You got the win and that's why you're on here.
You also had an outstanding first half of this game.
Jayden Daniels came out and the New Orleans Saints defense
could not stop that Washington Commander's offense.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
He also had one of the.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
Cooler touchdown passes of the weekend. Let's go to the
broadcast where Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma were on the call.

Speaker 8 (30:37):
Actor Patsfield watch again, Daniels looking little bit.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Towers left Albert pressure stain downardsk turn down.

Speaker 7 (30:48):
Joanniscond for a touchdown by mcclaurin.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Terry McClure coming up big for Jaden Daniels.

Speaker 6 (30:55):
I was like, where's he throwing this football? I thought
this was one of those rookie mistakes and outcomes. Terry
mcluurin with the touchdown.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Five I have of thirty one two hundred and twenty
six passing yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, also ran for
sixty six yards. Jaden Daniels, He's like, don't give that
offensive Rookie of the year ward to Bowers or to
Knicks just yet.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
I still can do it. The Commanders are firmly in
that playoff picture. Let's take a midst here.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
If you want to see something cool about comparison sake
rookies with three thousand passing yards and five hundred rushing
yards in a season. It's a short list guy. The
other three guys all one offensive rookie of the year.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Jaden's already done it. He's got three more games to go.
How far Candy go?

Speaker 5 (31:39):
We'll see he's having an outstanding rookie season. Number three,
we go to the defensive side of the ball and
we go to Sunday night. Who was the difference maker
on the field and it was Packers linebacker Edderyn Cooper.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Let's take a look at what Eddrick Cooper did in
this game.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
All over the field, seven tackles, a sack, and this
key interception in this game of Geno Smith.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
He was all over the place. He's only the third rookie.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Since twenty ten in a game to have a sack
and an interception under the lights Pride time. Gad unbelievable
performance from Edrin Cooper number fifty six.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
He's been all over the field and he is on
a rookie.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
Defense that also includes Evan Williams the safety.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
And they have so many other young guys on this roster.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
The youngest team in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers.
They have just another guy, Edrin Cooper doing the job.
And yet he is in our highest rated defensive rookie
because there is a player in that Texans Dolphins game
who made maybe the play of the game. We're talking
about Houston Texan safety Kaylan Bullock. Kaylyn Bullock's been outstanding
all season. Let's go to Kevin Harlan for the call

(32:46):
on Kaylan Bullock's big play in this one second.

Speaker 8 (32:49):
And six, I can bug the buck and it's picked.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Up for the pay Clo Brighter, Big Bullock. Here's tim.

Speaker 12 (32:56):
I don't know if you're gonna get him.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Here comes at ten. There Ghost Bullock to the five,
a huge offensial play. I love Kaylon bull all right.

Speaker 5 (33:07):
Third round pick out of Southern California.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Okay, so, big star, nickname super.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Glue, that's what they call him, super Glue, and that's
what he does.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
He had an awesome game here.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
He had all sorts of pass breakups, guys, six tackles,
this big pass breakup interception return you saw, guys.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
He leads all rookies right now with interceptions. Super Glue's
got five five picks for a rookie. That's unheard of.

Speaker 5 (33:30):
Tarhee still is for of course, we've given all these
guys love throughout the season.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
They've all been on this list.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
This is Kaylin Bullock's first time on the list. He's
going to be playing Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs
where he can maybe intercept Carson Wentz.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
All right, let's see, I could be Mahomes.

Speaker 10 (33:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
We'll get to that number one though. Let's go to
our rookie of the.

Speaker 5 (33:50):
Week, the number one player on a team that put
up five hundred yards of offense, two hundred yards rushing
and absolutely demoralized the number one defense in the league.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Our number one rookie for Week fifteen is Bucky the Duck.
Let's see Bucky Irving highlights.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
Bucky Irving seven fantastic yet again, guys, fifteen carries one
hundred and.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
Seventeen yard dashed to the Chargers defense, the Bucks are
four and zero when Irving gets a hundred rushing yards
or more. That's just the truth of it. When they
rush this guy, he wins. He leads all rookies with
eight hundred and fifty two rushing yards. He's got six
rushing touchdowns. Guys, his one one hundred and forty eight
scrimmage yards are the most bio rookie out of Oregon.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
In the history of the game. Think about all the
rookies out of Oregon over the years. Number two Lagarrett Blunt,
who also did it for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Number
seven Bucket, the Duck and Oregon Duck.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
They're gonna go.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
Up against someone in the College Football Tournament in two
weeks and.

Speaker 6 (34:51):
We'll go down.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
We'll go big on a But this is the list.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
If you had told me before the season started that
this would be the list for Week fifteen, I'd say.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
You're crazy. That is too eclectic, too weird, too random.
That's what we get. That's why we do the the
Fab five. Kyle your thoughts.

Speaker 7 (35:07):
First of all, I'm kind of I'm kind of mad,
kaylen Brook. I don't think any relation to Keith fully and.

Speaker 10 (35:11):
I'm looked it up.

Speaker 7 (35:11):
I'm merrikans Ledger disappointed by that. But also, Brian Thomas
Junior is great. He has what I call the David
Johnson problem, meaning you're in a small market and you
have a very plain name. David Johnson was this amazing,
amazing running back and he was number thirty one.

Speaker 6 (35:26):
He played for the Cardinals and he was just great
one thousand rushing. His name was David Johnson. It wasn't
Marshaun Lynch or Edgerrin James. So we need to do
some work on.

Speaker 7 (35:34):
That young man because we need to get him and
build him up. And Peter, you're doing God's work. The
name sometimes is tough to overcome, especially in the Jacksonville market.
But I love how he's playing.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
I always like when Peter he's up a rookie from
the Packers because it's just like they did it again,
Like they got another young guy and he's just gonna
show up on some other list in five years. You're like,
where did that guy come from? The Packers drafted him
like Adre and Cooper. Seriously again, like Packers always have
some young defense, the youngest team in the league all
every year.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
They never get any they never get old. They always
have young guys up and coming. Peter always on earthsome too.

Speaker 8 (36:06):
It was fun watching edgaric Cooper. Yes sach An interception.
I mean he had he had it all going on.
He was all over the place tackling. In fact, you know,
Matt LeFlore gave him the game ball or a game
ball in that game last game. But I liked Jayde
and Daniels just kind of getting back in the conversation.
It's very easy to get caught up in a recency bias,
and you know, everybody's kind of flocking over the bow Knicks,

(36:27):
but Jade Daniels, he's still out there doing his things,
So that's a it's a good call for Jayden.

Speaker 10 (36:31):
I like this list. I love it.

Speaker 7 (36:33):
If we were to do at beginning of the year
do a fantasy draft of guys would show up in
Straker's Fabulous five, it would have been a lot of
Marvin Harrison Junior, it would have been a lot of
Caleb and we have really cool interesting names.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Leak neighbors all these guys. That's the big name.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
So that the rookie of the year there.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
I think it's Jaden and Bou Jayden and bow but
neither are dominating right now and they're both winning. With that,
Brock Bauers and Brian Thomas are having historic seasons. If
one of them can steal it on bad teams.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
That would be wild.

Speaker 5 (37:00):
But it's going to be a close one to the
very end, and I think those two quarterback are gonna
have to duke it out over the final three weeks.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
That's really cool.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Time for What's Your Beef? Presented by our friends at
Old Trapper Beef Jerky.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Let's toss to a sound of Caleb Williams, the rookie
quarterback of the Chicago Bears, discussing what the season has
been like and where they go from here. Reality of
where you're at and how your rookie season has gone.

Speaker 6 (37:23):
It's almost over.

Speaker 10 (37:24):
Now, yep. How you've arrived here.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Yeah, it's been frustrating and encouraging.

Speaker 5 (37:33):
It's not really it's a good talking point. So Kyle,
I ask you frustrating and encouraging your thoughts.

Speaker 6 (37:39):
I have no beef with this.

Speaker 10 (37:40):
I have no beef.

Speaker 6 (37:41):
You got to pick one.

Speaker 7 (37:42):
At this point, Caleb is sitting up there and trying
to make sensible soundbites that are positive and constructive and
just make any kind of sense. It's a complete disaster
right now, in a downspin. But I went back and
I did some work, and I looked up some of
the things that Troy Aikman was saying as a rookie
when he had this miserable rookie season. I was looking
up some of the things that Peyton Manning said, as
a rookie, it's the same type of stuff. You're just
finding any semblance of positivity and optimism, and you're just

(38:03):
trying not to be negative and sarcastic. If you're looking
for something to hang your hat on this year. As
a Bears fan or Bears player anything, we have learned
that Caleb, first of all, I think is physically tough
as hell. He's gotten the absolute crap kicked out of
him all year, and I think he's professional.

Speaker 6 (38:18):
We have not seen the throwing the mouthguard moment.

Speaker 7 (38:21):
We've not seen the throwing the helmet on the sideline moment,
the screaming at the offensive line, the screaming.

Speaker 6 (38:26):
At the coach. He's not done any of that.

Speaker 7 (38:29):
And I think it's especially impowerful for Caleb because he
had this rap coming out that maybe he was soft
and anything from crying after losses to fingernail pointing and
ridiculous things like that. And I would just say to
Bears fans and the Caleb himself, if you're looking for
some kind of inspiration, but how can we pull out
of this? Caleb should look across the field to the
other sideline. This weekend at Bears Lions, where he will
see another number one overall pick quarterback in Jared Goff,

(38:52):
who had a miserable rookie season, who did not win
a single game as a rookie, who looked lost, fragile, busty,
whatever you want to call it. He got through the
year lo and behold this brilliant young coach comes in
and chain his entire career. It's a weird SoundBite, the
fact that he's still standing and speaking in trying to
stay part of at this point, I respect it completely.

Speaker 6 (39:11):
He's tough and he's a professional at this point will
take it.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
I think an even more damning h visual or a
sound bite was seeing Ryan Poles and George McCaskey constantly
up there for the Bears during the mining IYE broadcast
and Aikman and Buck were excellent with it, but they showman,
it's just exasperation, and it's like, are the are these
are these gentlemen? And Kevin Warren going to hire the
right person to usherman? It is a you cannot miss

(39:34):
on this head coaching higher And I know everyone wants
Vrabel and that's fine, and we could talk about it
and Verbel might be the guy. I would also not
undervalue or underestimate how important it is to have a
quarterback focused, offensive minded coach for a young quarterback like
Caleb Williams.

Speaker 10 (39:48):
I don't know what that is.

Speaker 5 (39:49):
I don't know how much that costs, and I don't
know what it takes to get Ben Johnson to even
consider this job. But I would really think about your
quarterback the central figure of this team more than a
CEO leader of men, which is what we're hearing.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
From Chicago, and that's fine.

Speaker 5 (40:02):
I don't think they've got a discipline. I don't think
they need a leader of men. They're all leader of
the men. You need someone to focus on the quarterback
and get the most out of him. So, Caleb Williams,
I don't blame you for this. This has been a disaster,
just hanging there the final three weeks of the season.

Speaker 7 (40:16):
I think it was a big cat from barstool who
I think he said this coaching hire is the most
important decision in Bears history.

Speaker 6 (40:23):
It is the most important decision of Bears history.

Speaker 7 (40:26):
They have to get it right and later on Peter
will have his full beef on the phrase leader of men.
We got thoughts on that too, We're not a fan
of that phrase. We're a fan of old Chapper, Beef,
Jurkey
