Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good Morning Football is the production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Welcome INSI Good Morning Football, everybody. We're live in LA
and New York. And Isaiah is confused because he's wearn't
assured that says New York, but we're in LA.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Get it right, Isaiah. It's Wednesday, June fourth. I'm Jamie
or at Isaiah Standbecky or Kyle Brandt, still hanging out
with John Robinson, former NFL executive at the table.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
Kyle.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
We have an absolute special for you in the second
segment of the first hour today, Whiteboard Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Yeah, we've done thousands of Whiteboard Wednesday segments. We've never
done one with Lightning McQueen, and then we're doing it today.
Owen Wilson is going to be on the show, teeing
up our whiteboard questions to me, to Jay rob to Isaiah,
to ja I said it before. This guy's in like
very intelligent to Wes Anderson Movies. Now he's going to
be asking us nonsense in our Whiteboard segment.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
So fired up about it.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Let's talk some cowboys, Jay Robson, we do it.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Let's go show us some cowboys. Why the hell not.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
It's good morning football on Wednesday. Light this candle, good football.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
That's right, GMFB, Get in here, Kyle JR, Isaiah Jamie,
what's going on? We are in LA and New York,
but we got to start with the Dallas Cowboys today
on GMFB.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
It's Wednesday, it's whiteboard Wednesday day.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
But let's get to the heavy, hitty news or yet
to become news in Dallas because Michael Parsons took to
social media to let everyone know that he indeed would
be at mini camp, even though he is still in
search of his new contract.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I'll be there.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
He hasn't missed it in four years. Contract's not done.
He's got teammates in a playbook that he is holding
himself accountable to, preparing to.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Be on the field the first week of camp.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Now this is in the owner's hands, says Michael Parsons.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
He's ready to win a Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
New Cowboys head coach Brian Schottneimer doesn't seem too concerned
about parsons participation.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
I would assume Mike and I talked a couple of
days ago. Again, he's doing a little bit of traveling.
But again, everything that you and I have talked about.
I expect that he will be here. Like I said,
I say it each and every week. Mike and I
have had great communication. Everything I've asked him to do
and vice versa, he's followed through on. So I would
expect to see him all.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Right, stand back here at the table. You live in Dallas,
who work for the Cowboys on Sundays, you do.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Pregame show, postgame show, everything, you're in the building.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
How important is it for this not only does Michael
parson situation to go well this offseason, but for those
two guys that we just saw, Parsons and Schottenneimer. So
start off on the right foot in this new regime
in Dallas.
Speaker 7 (02:42):
You know what, I think that there's gonna be a
lot made about the relationship between Shotenheimer and Michael Parsons.
Speaker 8 (02:46):
I honestly don't believe that they have to be in sync.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Now.
Speaker 8 (02:49):
Do they need to be cordial, do they need to
be friendly? All those things?
Speaker 7 (02:52):
Of course, right, just from a leadership perspective, you have
the head coach and you have the leader on the
defensive side of the ball.
Speaker 8 (02:57):
They need to be on one page. However, the people
that he needs to be in sync with.
Speaker 7 (03:02):
Really is Aaron Whitecotton, who is going to be defensive
line coach for the Dallas Cowboys. He was formerly with
the New York Jets. He's considered to be the guru
of d lineman in the league. He needs to be
in sync with Michael Parsons. Michael Parsons also needs to
be in sync with Matt Eberflus. Those are the two
gentlemen that Michael Parsons is going to be working with
hand in hand, day in day out, sitting in the
media rooms with and getting instructions from. Brian Schenheimer is
(03:24):
simply the manager of men at this point, and he's
really going to be on the offensive side of the ball.
Speaker 8 (03:28):
So it's nice if.
Speaker 7 (03:29):
Those guys have a great relationship because obviously they have
best player on defense in the head coach. But at
the end of the day, Michael Parsons is a defensive
player and needs to be working with a defensive coordinator
and a defensive line coach. That's where he needs to
be tight and that's why he needs to be in
the building anything chair.
Speaker 9 (03:42):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's I think it's extremely
refreshing to start with for Micah to come out and say, hey,
I'm going to be there. Right in a world of
nil and portal where college guys are jumping here because
they want more money, or you know, in the NFL
guys are holding out or holding in for more money,
Mike is in. He's like, I'm going to be there,
(04:03):
Like I want to win Super Bowl. I've got a playbook.
I haven't missed anything in four years. Yeah, I think
it's important for Schottenheimer and him to be on the
same page. Shot, he's been in this league a long time.
He's been with the Cowboys for what three four years
now now in a new role as a head coach.
But the contract will take care of itself in due time.
I think we've seen historically that with Dallas No, whether
(04:24):
with CD or whoever. Over time, these things it takes
a little time to play out and it'll get done.
But it's just refreshing for a younger player in the league,
an impact player in the league, probably one A or
one B most important players on this Nallas Cowboys roster,
to have this approach to his job.
Speaker 10 (04:45):
So I'm excited.
Speaker 9 (04:47):
I'm excited for you just the overall concept of this,
of him putting it out there.
Speaker 10 (04:53):
I'm going to be there for my teammates and ready
to work.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
I love to take and I want to call just
a brief intermission in this segment, if you will, a
brief intermission.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
You're a talient evaluator.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
And in the many many years in the NFL, what
would you say as a higher talent level. Micah Parsons
or Alphaba and Glinda, the two leads in Wicked, which
Jay Rob saw on Broadway last night here in New
York with his daughters, break it down for us brief
intermission floors yours.
Speaker 9 (05:19):
I'm going to say, you know, I mean, I've been
around football forever. Kaywan, It's probably that's my jam is football.
I'm gonna say Micah Parsons.
Speaker 5 (05:30):
Okay, but it's close.
Speaker 10 (05:31):
But the two I forgot their character's name.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Alphaba and Glinda.
Speaker 9 (05:34):
Yes, extremely impressive. You know, I thought I would sleep
within the first hour fifteen.
Speaker 10 (05:41):
But I made it the entire time. There's a cool storyline.
Not to ruin it for anybody that hasn't seen it.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
But uh, you were the last person Jr.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Yes, Yes, I like that you were out there.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Everyone thinks all you Jay Rob will never be on
Broadway seeing Wicked.
Speaker 8 (05:58):
Look at you.
Speaker 10 (05:58):
I was in there program and everything.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
See he's defined gravity and expectations.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
I actually have something interesting.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I'm doing tonight too in New York, but I'll save
it for later in the show.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Asked me later, back to the Cowboys. I'm going to
pick up where Jay Rob left off.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
This is a fantastic tweet from Michael Parsons. I have
no snarky response, no skeptical comeback. This is all positive.
There's twenty six exclamation points. I'll be there. I never
miss teammates playbook preparation, and that he's not any sucker either.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
He's still saying it's in the owner's hands.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
He calls out the Jones family, and then he says
super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
I am so encouraged by this at.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
A time when it could have gone really negative and dark,
and when it seems like everything is and always with
the Cowboys, there's going to be money this and hold
out this.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
He zagged hard on this.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
This is a positive thing to say that I will
be there. I do want to be paid, but teammates
support like I feel like this should be put up
on a banner somewhere as everyone to look at just
a positive sentiment about I understand you want to get
your money, and you should, but there are ways to
go about it. You're not doing some petty nonsense like
unfollowing the team on Instagram or subtweeting. He just says no,
(07:14):
He screams, I'm there, I love my teammates. I want
to win a super Bowl. Please pay me, but do it.
I mean, I'm in New York. It's like Tom Thibodeau
just gets fired.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
It's all over the back.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I can't even turn around the other side of the newspaper.
It's so bad and so offensive and so disgusting. I
won't even show it to you. Michael Parsons, who gets
the media, who understands how to work it, I think
has never ever worked it better.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Everyone's in his corner.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Now everyone's gonna be like, Micah, you're right, you should
get paid. You're great, and look at what a great
attitude you have. Great great media by Michael Parsons. I'm
impressed and proud. I agree with you. One thing about
Michael Parsons. He's a one heck of a competitor. Michael
Parsons has a great relationship with the Cowboys.
Speaker 7 (07:53):
He has a great relationship with the city of Dallas,
and he has a great relationship with Jerry Jones. So
everything that you just said is absolutely correct. I wanted
to throw a question towards John being the GM in
the room right now. Do you believe and I do
believe that Michael Parsons should be the highest paid defensive
in the league. Do you believe that that's going to
be the case for him? And if so, and if not,
(08:13):
why not. That's a great question, Isaiah. I think it'll
be close. If not, you know, the same as Garrett.
You know, he kind of set the bar right big
deal for edge players at what is it forty a
year on the ap y. You can get into the
semantics of the guarantees and all that. That's really what's
important for players.
Speaker 9 (08:30):
As you know, Isaiah's you know, what's what's my guaranteed
money and then what's my APY relative to my counterparts
around the league? And I expect him to either be
right there around it, you know, may go over it.
We'll see how it goes. As the cap continues to grow,
these player salaries are just going to grow with the cap.
Speaker 10 (08:47):
That's just the way it is.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I love the post and respect it for the Tibago
I mean, they were just ready to have that.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Kyle, That's an impressive It was just so easy.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
It was right there, tib Ago, He gone take you
entirely to the Eastern Conference finals and that's it.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Tom Thibodeau. Crazy news out of the NBA yesterday. Are
we going to.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
See the same for some of the league's pass rushers.
Everyone's looking for a new deal. These guys just were
talking about it.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Jr.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
And Isaiah Where is this going to rank amongst Miles Garrett, TJ.
Watt absent from OTAs, Michael Parsons presidentt OTAs. But these
two guys, after their first four seasons, their sets are ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Here's how they stack up.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
You got a nearly fifty sacks at each on average
between the two of them, a ton of tackles for loss,
getting after the quarterback all the time. And their peers
recognize it because they're making a handful of robos. Kyle,
I know you will appreciate the fact that yesterday I
was on the Pittsburgh Post Gazette's Local podcast.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
And I was part of that conversation.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
I always liked to check in with my local people,
and they were asking. They were curious where the TJ.
Watt national conversation is he do a Miles Garrett contract?
What do they do about that? I asked the question
to the guy, Kyle, and I'll ask you really quick.
I can't imagine the last name Watt, TJ. Watt playing
in any other jersey or any other color in the
black and goal. They must get done. But do you
(10:07):
have a response to that Pittsburgh Post. Is that question
that you think that this TJ. Watt deal will get
done sooner than later?
Speaker 1 (10:14):
It's hard to imagine. They typically don't let guys like
that go. It's a Hall of Famer, he's a born
and raised Steeler.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Here's the problem with TJ. Watt, and there is one.
Speaker 8 (10:23):
TJ.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Watt's never won a playoff game.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
It's a crazy thing to say, Mickey Fitzpatrick has never
won a playoff game. There's problems with their team at
large where it's not all Rosie and Mary and Steeler Land.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
You know the era we're in right now.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
They get in the playoffs and lose every single year.
A guy that good who's never won a playoff game
is crazy, But it's listen, I think that they will
not let him leave. He is a born and bred Steeler.
You know, you saw JJ leave and play with Arizona
at the end. But I wouldn't compare the Houston Texans
to the Pittsburgh Steelers and to how they do business.
So there's a lot of ways to unpack this. But
obviously with the Steelers.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
Thing kind of all roads lead to the quarterback, right.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
Isaiah, Yeah, I believe so. But when you look at
this situation that they have there with TJ.
Speaker 8 (11:05):
Watt, TJ.
Speaker 7 (11:05):
Watt is the defense for the Pittsburgh Steelers, So you
started talking about the identity right outside of outside of TJ.
Speaker 8 (11:12):
Watt is Cameron Hayward.
Speaker 7 (11:13):
Those are the two guys that you think about what
you think about the Pittsburgh Steelers defense. And we know
Hayward's getting towards the end of his career. He's been
in the league for a minute. So you have to
have TJ. Y.
Speaker 8 (11:22):
He is the person who elicits the pressure on the
defense side of the ball.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
He is the red dot guy.
Speaker 7 (11:26):
He's a guy that you highlight whenever you're watching film
in preparation to go against this opponent. So you absolutely
have to have him and it's surprising that we're starting
to see these things negotiation issues seemingly in.
Speaker 8 (11:37):
The city of Pittsburgh.
Speaker 7 (11:38):
Obviously, they get rid of George Piggins, they obviously bring
in a DK Metcalf, you know, the quarterback situation.
Speaker 8 (11:43):
They haven't necessarily settled on that.
Speaker 7 (11:45):
And now you have somebody who you can sign their
contract seemingly in your sleep because he's just been that
type of player for you and that type of representative
for your brand.
Speaker 8 (11:53):
And he still doesn't have a new deal.
Speaker 7 (11:55):
So there's words, there's grumblings that there's something on the table,
but nothing's been signed. But you would think that this
deal would have been done a long time ago for
somebody that has represented the brand and is the brand
of the Pittsburgh Steelers and has the impact that TJ.
Speaker 8 (12:08):
Watt has.
Speaker 10 (12:09):
The Cam Hayward.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
I mean, we just went through this a year or
so ago with Cam right like he was is he
going to retire?
Speaker 10 (12:15):
I need a new contract? And they figured it out.
Speaker 9 (12:18):
I agree with all points that have been made that TJ.
Speaker 10 (12:21):
Watt's a Steeler. They'll figure it out.
Speaker 9 (12:24):
You know, at the end, they'll figure out a way to
keep him around. And the defense go and they don't
get a quarterback or you know, if Rogers, let's just
say Rogers does sign, then you know they've got some
offensive firepower here. If they don't, then you know they're
gonna win with the defense.
Speaker 10 (12:40):
And they're gonna need TJ. Watt.
Speaker 9 (12:41):
They're gonna need all of those guys harming the rookie
to come on and play. So I expect this thing
to get done.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
I like it, and we're gonna get it done here
to you, Jamie, you know, we're a living, breathing show
that evolves as we talk. You mentioned the Thibodeau thing,
So if you don't follow this as NBA news, you're
watching an NFL show. Tom Thibodeau, the New York Knicks coach,
was fired after their best season in.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
Twenty five years. I just I just tweeted this.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
What is the NFL equivalent right now of the Knicks
firing Tom Thibodeau?
Speaker 5 (13:09):
Would it be?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Would it be the Lions firing Dan Campbell after bringing
them back to relevance and having a good run into
the playoffs. Didn't win the whole thing, but he took
this team that hasn't done squat in decades and I
feel like there may be a better one. I just
asked social maybe we'll run some responses. But the basketball
community is blown away, and here in New York it's
everywhere and people are so indignant about it. I feel
(13:30):
like if like the Lions are just like, well, Dan
Campbell couldn't get a stumb Yeah, but you're the Lions.
It's like you're the Knicks. What did you expect? I
think it's Campbell. But if you have a better one,
tweet GMFB.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
I like it. My mind popped up to Western New York.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
What is like Sean mcdermoy He kind of did the
same in Buffalo and that he's a likable guy and
that would be just as shocking maybe, But it's a
good question.
Speaker 7 (13:52):
I'm gonna roll with dan Quinn Ruse.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
That's a great answer.
Speaker 7 (13:58):
That Washington hasn't done nothing in a while, and Dan
Queen comes in and boom, all of a sudden, they're
in the playoffs and they make a little run. And
if they were to fire him, everybody will be like,
what in the entire heck is going on?
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Really good?
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Yeah, And Thibodeau has been around, He's had other jobs
as a head coach like Quinn has. He's a known guy.
Who's I think that now? See Quinn's only been there
one year though, so it's a great answer. We'll work
shop if anything popped. You do you like Campbell or Quinn?
Speaker 9 (14:20):
But I'm still stewing. I'm probably gonna go lean Campbell?
Uh now, but's doing Campbell's a great answer, I think
what they both are. Let's let's ask the people.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
All right, let's think on it. Which is what we're
gonna do during Whiteboard Wednesday coming up? We've got stars
and I'm saying plural. Look of those guys Apple TV
plus their new glove series it's called Stick. That's Owen
Wilson and the newcomer on the scene, Peter Digg.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Are joining us for Whiteboard Wednesday. Best nicknames in the League.
I can't believe those two are holding whiteboards.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Kyle, it's practically like they're joining the cast of GMFB.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
They'll be here and by the way, the answers are
already pouring in. Kyle, Shanahan is not the answer. Shannon
has been to a couple of Super Bowls. It's I
don't think it's Tibodau at the Knicks Jalen Hurts won
the Super Bowl MV just a few months ago. That
really happened. They destroyed the Chiefs. But you will not
be able to believe what he was doing at practice.
He was completing past the guys in T shirts against
(15:14):
no defense.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
Isn't too soon to start keeping stats for twenty twenty five? Never?
Speaker 1 (15:18):
And is Kevin Stefanski the equivalent of a Tom Thibodau
firing in the NFL?
Speaker 5 (15:23):
We'll get into it.
Speaker 10 (15:35):
Good mon football.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Peter Dager and On Wilson are teeing up the questions
for Whiteboard Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Today.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Usually it's my job. Instead today I get to play.
I'm so happy to have my job taken from me.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
This is so exciting. First question, Peter, take it away.
Speaker 11 (15:51):
Every season fans say that this is going to be
the Cowboys year. Another team whose storyline is about to
surprise everyone is man, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (16:00):
Do you have a sleeper team?
Speaker 10 (16:01):
I'd love to see.
Speaker 12 (16:02):
I mean, it's not going to surprise people, but I'm
a Cowboys fan, but I love the Detroit Lions, and
you know their coach and you just get kind of
he used to play for the Cowboys.
Speaker 11 (16:14):
I will say I'm excited to see Caleb Williams year two.
I think it could be good. The Bear Yeah, I
think I think they can win some games.
Speaker 10 (16:20):
I like the Dolphins too.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, man, I mean, should we even answer our question?
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Look at those guys, I know, Kyle, this is thrilling
for us.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
All right, there is the question at hand.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
It's which team this season is going to deliver a
surprise performance, headline worthy performances.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Isaiah, you're up first.
Speaker 8 (16:37):
All right, look goad and get this thing off.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
I'm gonna go with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Speaker 8 (16:42):
Yes, their new regime out there. Obviously, the stadiums there.
Speaker 7 (16:46):
You bring in Pete Carroll, you're true a head and
trade for Gino Smith.
Speaker 8 (16:49):
You have asking gen t right, you have all the things.
Speaker 7 (16:52):
I think these guys are going to make a wreckus
over there in the AFC.
Speaker 8 (16:55):
They have a tough division. They have a very tough division.
Speaker 7 (16:57):
But I think that they are going to get to
at least being even on the season.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Even on the season.
Speaker 9 (17:02):
All right, John first, Whiteport answer, Let's sea Oh no, fresh,
So I wanted to go. I wanted to go with
my guys down in Tampa. Jason Light, who shout out
to Jason who helped me at Nickels State and offered
me a scouting opportunity. But I feel like the Bucks
really aren't under the radar. They won the division last
few years. They've got a great roster. I'm gonna go
out west with another co work we got of mine
(17:25):
and go with ell Azona. Cardinals Manti Austin for Jonathan Gannon,
retooled that defense and the offense over the off season.
Speaker 10 (17:34):
They won eight games last year.
Speaker 9 (17:36):
Don't be surprised if they turned some heads this fall.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Damn right.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I love Cardinals. Jamie knows I'm always screaming for the Cardinals.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
They won eight last year after four the year before.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
I feel like they're one of these teams that are
just about to break through in the West, and I
love that.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
But Jamie, who do you got? Surprised him?
Speaker 3 (17:51):
I'm looking at my what I drew and I'm holding
one eye closed, and I'm like, is.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
It doesn't work?
Speaker 9 (17:56):
Track?
Speaker 2 (17:56):
It looks like Isaiah's.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Shirts at the Patriot And there's a reason I'm a
flirt with the Patriots for making me this rise team
this season, and Kyle made fun of me for it
yesterday but I have an entire reason why.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
And here's the clip. It's just happened in late April.
Speaker 9 (18:11):
I'm all fighting to protect them with everything like that.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
That's it. That's well gamble.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
He's gonna fight and die to protect his quarterback with
everything he's got, and he's gonna do it while we're
in pat the Patriot logo, right, Kyle, My team's the Patriots,
And that was absolutely an interpretive interpretation of the logo.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Well, you don't have to die, man's just to take
take it easy. You might be injured, you might be
very tired. Let's keep you on this side of the grass.
You know what's so fun to have these guys and
Owen Wilson and Peter Dager on here. And by the way,
just quick observation, Peter Dager better takes than Peter Schrager.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
I'm already way more of a fan than him.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
And Peter Nager is not over on some other network
now screaming out the Nicks and Cowboys and lebron So
I like him better. I also feel like I'm so
protective of the show. In the segment, I'm like, oh,
and Wilson, great to have you on.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
Could you just pick.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
One team, don't shout out five teams, don't break the segment.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
But it is awesome to have you here. This is simple.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
And speaking of the Jay Robs here, I'm going to
put this team up. I think you've heard of them, Titans,
and I wrote at the bottom they exist. They do exist.
I know that they've gone into this void. I'm not
sure who that player is in the red jersey. We're
not allowed to speak about him because we're part of
the national media. We should probably take this video off
before we get fined and kicked off the air. But
that is the number one overall pick in the draft.
(19:25):
They are in a prep division, and I know we're
not supposed to talk about that division, that team, or
that player, but I think we will be this year.
I like cam Ward, I like the Titans. I remember
the Titans Jay rob quickly. Did it ever get annoying
when you're at the Titans organization that the national spotlight
just refuses to ever.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Beyond no matter what. You guys were the number one
seed in the playoffs.
Speaker 9 (19:46):
Everyone's like, eh, right, yeah, I mean, that's just come on.
I don't know, It's what we just learned to deal with.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
It down there.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
You shouldn't fight the power, Jamie.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Next question, Ray, let's do It's not my job today, Kyle,
it's Owen Wilson's job. He's got the second question.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
White Board Wednesday, take it away.
Speaker 12 (20:02):
I play a form.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
We're pro golfer whose nickname is stick.
Speaker 12 (20:07):
The athlete with the best all time nickname is I
can say one for golf that I like. Ernie El's
the big easy.
Speaker 5 (20:17):
I like that.
Speaker 12 (20:18):
But gosh, yeah, I'm interested to see how they answer
this because there's some great nicknames in sports.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
On the okay, First, well, stick is a great golf nickname.
So like already Apple TV plus crushing it, and I
like the singular suggestion, Oan Wilson, you are not the
first person that Colin Brand has given feedback for during
Whiteboard Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Go ahead, Isaiah, all right, you guys.
Speaker 7 (20:38):
Know him from Seattle. I reaped my talent all the time, right,
I hardly there, but always repping. But there was a
dude who played basketball there. He was just one heck
of a defender and he had the sticky hands right
his sticky hands. He was known for his defense the glove.
Gary Payton. Gary Peyton has the best nickname. He thinked
about his shoes were fit like a glove, that he
(20:58):
had icons and video games. Right, if you had had
the mint on your on your icon, you knew that
you had a really good Gary Payton had the best
nickname in the history at Everdom everdam good.
Speaker 10 (21:10):
Yeah, the glove is glove is a great one.
Speaker 9 (21:13):
I'll admit in back in nineteen eighty five, I had
the T shirt. I was rocking the tough Skins with
the Chuck Taylor converse walking around school. William Fridge, great answer,
Nice Jim McMahon. You thought he was going to hand
it to Walter Payton. Nope, sticks it in the belly
of the big fellow and he rumbles in for a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Outrageous neck roll too on the fridge, right, It's incredible
stop and his own Gi Joe figure. I mean it
was a cultural icon. There were the Fridge. A's his
own cheerleader. And as a rookie in eighty.
Speaker 9 (21:43):
Five, I'm sure he probably had his own barbecue line
at some definitely standard definitely look at that and.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
He was like the fridge was like three hundred pounds
and everyone felt like he was eight hundred. You could
not believe there's a three hundred pounds defensive tackle in
the league.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Absolute legend.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
You should have a sponsorship with Sears at some point,
all right, So, everybody, I grew up in Minnesota. My
dad is a doctor, and when I was a kid,
I had the great benefit of being brought to Timberwolves
games and my dad was friends with the guy that
worked with the team.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
And one time I got.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Brought down into the hallway outside the locker room and
I was like seven or eight, and I'm standing outside
and I don't get to go in the locker room
with all the players. I got put into this trainer's
room and all the shoes were on the wall. And
my logic was, if I touched every pair of sneakers
in this room, I would.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Touch Kevin Garnett's shoes.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
So mine is big ticket because I loved KG from
ninety five to two thousand and seven, and then to
circle it all the way back the Timberwolves era of
Kevin Garnett.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
I love Big Ticket.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
I love KG, and I actually got to cover him
then when I worked in Boston, which was like a
total full circle woman. But at one point, as an
eight year old child, I did touch, Kevin garnett Sneakers
and probably Wally'serbiak too.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
So there it is big ticket.
Speaker 10 (22:51):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
I love Wallas Wow, great one.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
I love also that the Gary Payton w and Isaiah
I remember at the end of his career when he
was on the Lakers, he had a very tough series
against the Tony Parker Spurs and Tony Parker was wearing
him out and they get to the VMA is in
Jamie Fox's host I think it was the SP's Jamie
Fox is hosting Gary Payton's right at the front, He's like,
we got the glove here. I think you had a
hole on that SOB and everyone just died because of
what Tony Parker had done to him. He was roasting
(23:15):
him at the end. That Lakers team was ridiculous. Carl
Malone too. This is very simple for me.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
I go back to.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
The late eighties in South Indiana early nineties. The NFL
Rocket is Mail. I don't know if I'd be sitting
here without Raheb. Rocket is Male is my favorite player
as a child, as a Notre Dame fan growing up,
I used to go to the Notre Dame Michigan game
every year with my dad. We went in ann Arbor
on the turf against the Boa shem Beckler Wolverines. The
Rocket had two kick returns for a touchdown. The following
(23:41):
week's SI cover said Rocket Man, and we had a
legend who was born.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
People think his name is actually Rocket. His name is Rakheeb.
And of course you know his brother Kadri, who was
the missile.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
And the Rocket was incredible on the Cowboys and the Raiders.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
And I really mean this a.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Guy who is responsible for me loving football and being
here and providing for my family by talking about football.
I would love to have the Rocket on the show someday.
Just an absolute hero of mine. And I have no
snarky joke or anything, just true, pure love for this
guy as an athlete and what he meant to a
little kid in the eighties.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
So thank you Rocket, wherever you are. Come on the
show Man Man listen Coyle. I am going to text
Rocket when we get off the show. Rocket is a
friend of mine.
Speaker 8 (24:18):
You know Rocket, absolutely, he's in Dallas.
Speaker 7 (24:20):
He's a great, one of the greatest human beings, most
positive people you've ever met in your life. He's still
an energy ball. We will make sure that gets done.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
That's like you telling me that you know Spider Man
like that. That's incredible. You have this number. That's awesome. Isaiah,
You're like a celebrity to me. Now, goosebumps.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
We already know the segment. Coolest person in isaiahsmo. Kyle's like,
it's Rocket and that's it.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
That's the only option.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
All right, perfect, Okay, last Whiteboard Wednesday, We're here for it.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Take it away at guys. From the Stars of Stick.
Speaker 11 (24:52):
My favorite Owen Wilson character is.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
I don't think I could give my take here.
Speaker 8 (24:58):
You guys take it for me.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Come on, couldn't you have one? Peter Dagger?
Speaker 5 (25:03):
Come on?
Speaker 3 (25:04):
You got have a list, and and there was time
spent on IMDb last night.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Isaiah, I know you. You took almost all.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
The options at first, you couldn't decide.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
I'll get a beat to write your answer before you go.
Speaker 10 (25:15):
Thank you.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
I'm trying to remember his actual name, but anyways, I
can't be right up to the top.
Speaker 8 (25:20):
Owen Wilson in Wedding Crashers. In Wedding Crashers, he absolutely
killed it was what was his name again?
Speaker 5 (25:25):
It was?
Speaker 8 (25:27):
Anyways, We'll figure I don't know John John Beckwith.
Speaker 7 (25:30):
That's right, John Beckwith and Wedding Crashers one of my
favorite movies and one of the probably the most underrated
movies out there. You want to laugh, go turn on
Wedding Crashers. These guys absolutely kill it in Netflix. And
shout out to Owen for for making me laugh all
those years.
Speaker 9 (25:43):
When you're growing up with kids, you watch a lot
of Disney movies. I'm going to go with him as
the voice of the famous and Lightning in the Queen.
It's my attempt at the Lightning bolts.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
There there he is.
Speaker 9 (25:53):
And now shout out to disney Land in California. If
you've never gone and wrote ridden the cars ride. They
take you through Radiator Springs. I mean, you're in a car,
you race another car.
Speaker 10 (26:05):
Great experience. So Lightning McQueen fan favorite in my house.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Excellent answer, A great answer mine. I have to go
like this Hansel from Zulander. My gosh, it's so good.
It's so hot right now. So many excellent quotes. I'm dancing,
so many excellent quotes Lander, I know of it. They're
in the computer, we're inside the whiteboard.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
This one was just.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
So ridiculous and in the amount of ridiculousness on the
screen at any given time during this movie, you're so
distracted by the actual main character is Zulander. But then
Hansle comes along and you're like, I can't what is
happening with you?
Speaker 13 (26:41):
Is?
Speaker 2 (26:41):
It's insane?
Speaker 3 (26:42):
And then now the fact that there is a social
media sensation of people bumping into each other in the
Hansole line of excuse me, bruh, your excuse.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
And I'm not your br Kyle.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
Ooh, it's a great answer too.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
It brings me to mind because Owen Wilson has played
the lead in huge, massive, successful, critically adored movies, but
he's always incredible in the tiny little roles, usually with
Ben Stiller, whether it be Hansol or the guy in
the cable guy who's out on the date, or Mine
Kevin from Meet the Parents. This is the idea blonde boyfriend.
Speaker 5 (27:13):
Yeah. I was able to salvage this wood from an
old seaman's chapel in Nantucket. I got the twin subz's
the Viking range.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
I got in some wireless IPOs and stuff just skyrocket.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
What kind of business are you in? Greg, Greg's and
mail nerves.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
He absolutely cooks for that entire movie, that entire scene
he is in a scene with Robert de Niro, who's
a prodigy, and Ben Stiller, who's blowing up because of
the movie and steals every scene that he's in in
his dumb sweater and his hoopa getting burned down, which
put out about seventy hours from one piece of wood.
He's always incredible in those like just let Me cook
(27:47):
rolls and I don't think he's ever better than Meet
the Parents.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Gosh so good. There's a lot of options.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
I didn't know he was in that Very serious?
Speaker 8 (27:54):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Behind Enemy Lines?
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Kyle?
Speaker 2 (27:56):
I got nothing on Yeah, what is that about?
Speaker 1 (27:59):
I've never seen that night c SO two thousand that
came out in two thousand and two, and it's about
soldzera pilot who gets shot down behind enemy lines.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
He's running around in a flight suit and there's machine.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Guns, Like he can do it all, but he can't
do anything better than he can Playing a golfer on
Stick on Apple TV and queuing up Whiteboard Wednesday.
Speaker 5 (28:17):
Oh, I know.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Everybody's freaking out about Happy Gilmore two on Netflix. Uh,
I think Stick is the golf platform that everyone's going
to be.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
Freaking out about.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Absolutely, and now we will not do this segment any
other way except stars and celebrities asking us the questions. Unfortunately,
we have some sad news to share this morning as
Vikings great Jim Marshall passed away Tuesday following a long hospitalization.
Marshall was a member of Minnesota's vaunted Purple People Eaters
(28:45):
defensive line, appearing in four Super Bowls for the Minnesota Vikings.
Marshall was one of the league's all time ironmen, playing
in two hundred and eighty two consecutive games, a record
that stood for thirty years. His nineteen seasons with the
Minnesota Vikings are fifth all time with one t TEA.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Jim Marshall was eighty seven years old.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
The NFL also mourning the passing of Green Bay Packers
offensive lineman Steve Wright. The team announced this on Tuesday.
You've seen rights over the years and may not have
known it, as he was the model used for what
is now the Walter Payton NFL Man of.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
The Year Trophy.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
The trophy was originally called the Gladiator Award, debuting back
in nineteen sixty nine. Steve Wright was a member of
the Packers three consecutive NFL title teams.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Back in the mid sixties. He passed away on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
At the age of eighty two.
Speaker 5 (29:52):
Good morning football.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Why will this quarterback lead to the lead in passing
yards this season?
Speaker 5 (30:00):
The top?
Speaker 14 (30:00):
Oh yes, sir, he's got the flowers, he's got Andrew,
he's been an m v P and yeah, Lamars step
back thereon sling and Daddy, Lamars step back, Aaron, sling
and Daddy?
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Where did that just from? Still do it again? Press
the button again?
Speaker 5 (30:30):
Can we do?
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Let's go sling a daddy, John, you had us rolling yesterday.
That hang with you?
Speaker 5 (30:36):
What do you think about? You got your own segment now?
Speaker 10 (30:39):
Yeah, I mean I get I get back to the hotel.
Speaker 9 (30:42):
And the segment actually landed when my girls got back
from a workout class and they started dying, laughing, and
then they started doing.
Speaker 10 (30:51):
It slanging, Daddy.
Speaker 9 (30:52):
But you're there actually slinging, Daddy.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
It's my.
Speaker 5 (30:58):
Show the people what you have, show the people you have.
Speaker 9 (31:01):
So here we go, like I mean, I've been outfitted
with like I mean, I got this thing here that
was all target.
Speaker 10 (31:08):
Hopefully he's got a whole thing about Mars a little
bit better.
Speaker 9 (31:12):
When he did it right there, slings it at it
so perfect.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
Yes, you fire it while we do the show.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
All right, here we go. We lost Kyle. You show
Kyle out of the screen.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
In the spirit of sling it Daddy, we have all
come up with a quarterback in NFL history that it
truly embodies the just press the button at this point.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
This is like a radio show. Just sling it Daddy.
Speaker 10 (31:34):
Back there and sling it Daddy.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Perfect John. Who else do you think of what?
Speaker 9 (31:40):
There was a lot of options. You know, I felt
Cole Pepper because he had the big canaan. I thought Vic.
I went with Brett Favre. There were so many times
when Brett played the game, you know he would be
I mean, nobody was covered when when Brett would throw it,
I mean he would he would step back there and
rip it into tight coverage, sometimes double coverage. But he
(32:02):
was not afraid to let that thing ride and sling
it in there. Brett Favre my all time sling it
Daddy guy, step back there and slang daddy that.
Speaker 5 (32:12):
I like it.
Speaker 8 (32:12):
I like it.
Speaker 7 (32:13):
That's hard to follow up because when you think about
quarterbacks that are back there slinging at Brett Farv is
definitely one of the first ones to pop in your mind.
But there was another one, and they just happened to
play for a rival team out there in the town
of Chicago aka Shy Town.
Speaker 8 (32:26):
His name was Jay Cuttler.
Speaker 7 (32:29):
Jay Cutler to me was somebody who back there would
just slang it daddy. We knew that he didn't have
any regard for the ball going down the field. He
just knew that Brandon Marshall, whoever else was going to
be on the other end of that, was going to
come down with the play. He took risks all day
and he had what we call a cunning m All.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Right, let's hear it.
Speaker 10 (32:48):
Step back there and slang it daddy.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Perfect. Oh gosh, I need control of that button.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Mine is somebody who is currently on an NFL roster,
and it's not the definition of big kid in arm
or anything like that.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Kyle, well done.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Mine is deliver us from pick sixes. Because no one
has the sling it daddy mentality more than Jameis Winston.
When his back is against the wall, he will rise
to the occasion, step back there and sling it daddy.
Jameis Winston sling it anywhere.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
All over the field. You are Oh, come on.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Come on, that's the one we're going to pick for Jamis.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Seriously, he could have all right, well, sling it Daddy, Yeah,
all right, hit the.
Speaker 10 (33:29):
Button set back there and sling it Daddy.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Perfect.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
I'm censoring myself right now. I shouldn't, but I am.
This is so fun. I stole it from Jay rob
and I'm turning into legalists with this.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
Oh that was terrifactor actually.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Hit the camera a little bit while ago and it rattled.
But you guys, like, listen, I respect all the answers.
Jay Cutler, you said, Isaiah. Jay Cutler, even on his
own organization, was a checkdown game manager. Compared to my man,
Rex Grossman, bring sexy rexy in.
Speaker 5 (33:57):
As long as we're doing a segment called sling It.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Daddy, we might as well have sexy rexy. He was
out here to chuck to Bernard burying about eighty yards
down the field, and if he wasn't covered, or if
he was covered, I'm gonna throw it. I'm gonna do
that old Steve Spurry or fun and gun. You lived
and died by the res he gets he's an easy target,
and which is ironic because often he couldn't hit one,
but he was an MVP candidate. Over the first month
(34:21):
of the two thousand and six season. He was the
Offensive Player of the Month in September. He takes a
lot of crap, but I'm a Rex Grossman guy.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
I'm out a Jay Robb's ammunition. I'm gonna have to
collect it. But this segment has been so fun.
Speaker 9 (34:32):
Thanks to you, Bud, Yeah, Chuck and Duck, Sling and
Daddy whatever you want to call it like this was.
Speaker 10 (34:39):
This was fun.
Speaker 9 (34:40):
A lot of really deserving candidates for the Sling of
Daddy Award.
Speaker 10 (34:45):
We've got four finalists.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Do you have a winner? Are we handling a slingshot
to somebody?
Speaker 8 (34:50):
You got to pick a winner.
Speaker 5 (34:52):
I gotta pick a winner.
Speaker 10 (34:52):
Yeah, his own, Well, I can't pick myself. Yeah, I'm
gonna go.
Speaker 9 (34:58):
I'm gonna go with Kyle, Okay, because of Rex and
probably and too, so I can hand him the annual first.
Speaker 5 (35:05):
Annual Inaugural Slingshot Trophy.
Speaker 13 (35:07):
Sling It Daddy Award here at Kyle, that's you at
NFL Honors this year, Jay rob and the slingshot goes
to and I don't know if you want the slingshot
or not here fire it.
Speaker 9 (35:19):
See not bad, that's better all these big ones. And
then I'm on hand Kyle is trophy and let him
do bam for the winner.
Speaker 13 (35:28):
I I want to thank mister John Robinson for self producing,
for giving us this segment.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
We'll probably do it tomorrow. We'll do it next week.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
It'll become an actual tradition and we'll can see I
mean bam, we will hand this out. Thank you, Jay Robs.
It's not enough to just show up and give answers.
You got to produce on the fly and you're excellent.
Speaker 5 (35:48):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
We were thrilled earlier in the show to have Owen
Wilson come on and contribute with his new show.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
It's called Stick.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
It's on Apple TV, and he did our Whiteboard Wednesday segment. Well,
if you talk Owen Wilson on a football show, you
got to talk Owen Wilson playing football, which of course
he did. In Wedding Crashers, they go to Christopher Walkins
House on the Hampton's Reverendence and there's him in Vince
with the pants and this is hot route and you
have a Bradley Cooper fresh out of Juilliard showing up and.
Speaker 5 (36:15):
No one even knew who he was. Jay Rob talking
to us about your thoughts on this scene.
Speaker 9 (36:20):
I think it's it's it was extremely funny. The you know,
red seven, red and seven, and he goes, I don't
even know what that means.
Speaker 10 (36:29):
Let's go here. Well, I remember a time back, I
don't know how many years ago it was. I was
with the Patriots.
Speaker 9 (36:35):
Yeah, and and Brady was the quarterback, and Brabes was
playing outside linebacker and we're in seven on seven and
Brady's doing his thing. He's moving guys around, you know,
all the pre snap stuff, Isaiah.
Speaker 8 (36:48):
That you do.
Speaker 9 (36:49):
And and the movie had just came out, and Ravee
starts barking at Tom and he's like red seven, red seven,
Hot route, Hot Route. And Tom just looks over at
Raves AND's like, shut up, Mike, because they're just trying.
Speaker 10 (37:02):
To get practice in.
Speaker 9 (37:03):
But the impact of the actual movie made its way
onto the practice field of the New England Patriots.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
Goh, that's so good, Isaiah, you're into it.
Speaker 8 (37:12):
Listen. One of my favorite scenes.
Speaker 7 (37:14):
And being that you're already talking about Tom Brady when
I first got to New England and I'm on the field, right,
I'm playing receiver at this point, backup quarterback starting that receiver,
and we're in the middle of a game. I think
we're playing against the Jets, and Jewels comes in motion,
comes across the formation and TV twelve and you know,
he had a lot of non verbal cues, right, There's
a lot of non verbal communication that I necessarily wasn't
heavy to at this point. So he looks over and
(37:35):
he gives us like a little of head nod, and
I look at Jewels like, what the heck does that
even mean? Literally turns the whole play into a bubble screen.
I had no idea the play is a bubble screen
with a head nod. Now I'm blocking right, Jewels was
running out and he comes back and pass me on
the butt. I'm like, what the heck was that? He
was like, Oh, that means that that we changed it
to a bubble.
Speaker 8 (37:52):
I'm like, what the heck, hot Rod, There was nothing
that was even said.
Speaker 7 (37:55):
So to your point, there's a lot that happens on
the field. The Red seventh scene was absolutely amazing. I
still quote it to this day.
Speaker 10 (38:02):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
And I let's forget I mentioned the bread that Cooper's
in it.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
People did not know who Bradley Cooper was, and I
when I say people, I mean me.
Speaker 5 (38:08):
I don't really know that dude.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
He'd been in a few things, but he ends up
stealing the scene. Look at Vince on the ground walking
Cooper like, this is all royalty right here, Jamie.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
I bet you've sat through this movie a.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Bunch of times, so I have so many thoughts when
you brought up Bradley Cooper specifically.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
In this scene. He is great. But the scene in
which they put the vizine in his drink and then
he has to that was.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Like some of the most incredible, like getting sick acting
I have ever witnessed. It was so so it was
live action and he could have been and frankly, for
a time for a while was kind of type cast
is like the jerk because he's like so good looking
and he played.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
That Offswells alf so well. But yeah, it was Bradley Cooper.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
I forgot, honestly that he was in that scene. The
perfect part of that scene, though, I think, is the
fact that Rachel McAdams, who also was kind of coming
into her own as like America's Sweetheart, is just absolutely
flirting to a ten with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughns,
like cannot be bothered with the fact that he's like
trying to help his buddy out.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
It's just so great, so intense. There are you going?
You're running away from me. I was like, don't interrupt yours.
You're spitting on his game. What are you doing? Oh
my gosh, it's a great, great film.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Speaking of hot Route, I have to somehow get to
OTA's at this point.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Let's talk about we got a question on the table.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Two quarterback who will be getting no questions about his
play MVP for the Super Bowl, Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
Listen, I have some stats.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
I want to run by him. This according to Elliott
Shore Parks at in ninety four w IP in Philadelphia
got zats John coming from OTAs fifteen of seventeen.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
It's an A.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
That's a great A from Elliott Shore Parks sehan Ota
stats too.
Speaker 7 (39:46):
Soon, A great at A.
Speaker 9 (39:48):
I meant, I mean, there probably wasn't a you know,
nobody really in color it is there's a completion.
Speaker 10 (39:53):
No, I'm just kidding. He's just warming up.
Speaker 9 (39:55):
But I mean the next thing we're gonna we're gonna
be grading Saquan's touchdowns when nobody can tackle him a
little early, I think for ot A stats.
Speaker 10 (40:02):
But right, you got to put something out there, right, Isaiah,
what do.
Speaker 5 (40:04):
You think, Liz?
Speaker 7 (40:05):
I believe that somebody's been listening to one hundred and
two thousand too soon reconsidered it. Nobody's caring about your
completion percentage right now.
Speaker 8 (40:12):
There's no pass. There's no pass rus nobody's hands or
in your face. We know what it is. There has
to be something to talk about.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
I think it's if you're showing Jalen Hurts who cares
as a made guy, if you're talking about the Browns
rookies and Chadeur and Gabriel and all that, and they
threw two picks or they I mean, it's really.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
Really a ticky tack.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
And I know there's some people who are really plugged
in who are triggered.
Speaker 5 (40:32):
By this online.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
And I don't mean that flipping like they really think
this sets off false narratives.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
I have to shout out.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Our researcher, Jack Dedrade is on Twitter being like, this
is nonsense, this is irresponsible. It's just really really plugged
into something that media run amuck in the NFL. I
don't feel that way about it, but I unless we're
talking about the case of the rookies who are trying to.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
Find their way in the league, it's too much.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
It is too much, Kyle. I really thought you were
going to go like Hamhog on this. I'm surprised you
as such a passive stance on it.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
My gosh to think about that.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
Don't just want to talk fall Jamie. You know times
