purchase of the quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals and Joe
Burrows admission that a year from now he will receive
one of ten Batmobiles. What did everybody think about this

is listen, if you're Joe Burrow and you're making north
of fifty million dollars a year, and as far as
I know, you don't have children or anything like that,
and you're young, buy a three million dollar car.

We're going to play around to this game three and
out our first down. We are looking at the AFC
West matchup in the Chargers and the Chiefs. This is
specifically intriguing because the Chargers are feeling themselves right now
going a book as a Chief team that is winning.
We understand that, but we just don't know what it's
going to look like against the divisional rival. Guys, do

you feel that the Chargers should be the favorites in
this matchup?
Speaker 7 (02:31):
Heater Chiefs are favored by four points per our friends
at the Lovely State of Nevada, and it does feel
like the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Are playing better football.

The only reason the Chiefs would be favored would be
A they're home and B just previous years in previous matchups.
But gosh, you're telling me put this in a bubble
and look at this game right now. I think the
Chargers are playing way better football, and that includes the
loss to the Ravens on Monday Night two weeks ago.
They go into Atlanta and the offense isn't even clicking

and their defense carries the way I have seen Philip
Rivers go into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs. I have
now seen Justin Herbert do it one time on a
Sunday with Brandon Staley.

When he was the head coach.

I believe after being in the building for the Chiefs
Chargers game earlier in the season, when the Chiefs just
willed their way to victory and so far, I believe
that the Chargers should be favored, and I think I
would pick the Chargers.

To win this game Sunday night in Arrowhead.
Speaker 8 (03:29):
Yeah, I can't see this one. As much as I
love the Chargers, I just can't see the Chargers kind
of winning this one. So I don't think that they
should be the favorite in this one for a couple
of reasons.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
One, I think the.
Speaker 8 (03:39):
Chiefs are probably the number one team in the NFL
winning close games. I mean, they have been able to
ink out some close ones, and it hasn't been pretty football.
I'm not going to sit there and disguise it, but
they find a way to win. And I've said this before,
they have the will to win, and that's just the
thing that it doesn't show up on stat chief And
then on the other side though, for the Chargers, like
the Chargers losing you know, JK. Dobbins is a big deal.

I mean, he was responsible for over half their run
game and to not have him and then to solely
just depend on Lad McConkie to move the ball. You
got to get Quentin Johnston his confidence back up. The
fact that they're kind of going to be struggling in
that department because they don't have really that wide receiver,
that dog that can really kind of take it over
the top. I'm going to say that they're not going

to be favorite to win this one.

I don't know if they should be favorites. I don't
really speak gambling.

I can tell you what the meaning of the win
would be, because now if you lose this game, that
arrowhead not only you go to eight and five, you
don't go to eight and five, you go to ze
two and you're own two against the Chiefs, And it's like, Jim, this.

Is what we're doing. We came here to beat the.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
Chiefs and maybe Harbaugh will get them again in the playoffs,
and that would be incredible. But I'm looking at my
watch about it. I thought this was going to be
different now. Listen, it took him a minute to beat
Ohio State. But this is a different deal. This is
the NFL and we got to play these guys twice
a year. I'll be disappointed if the Chargers don't win this,
if only for the storyline and the interest. We're supposed
to have a new dog in town. I'd be very surprised.

I don't know if the Chargers are favorited chiefs at home,
there's still eleven to one. Not that interesting to me.
What is interesting to me, Jamie, is something you just said.
We're in this season right now, preserving the magic of
Santa Claus.

can't drive that on the street.

I mean, there are two disastrous seasons, and I would
say the forty nine ers have been way more disappointing.

August, Like what are we talking about here? And then
you want to talk about real life tragedies, go look
at the headlines what was going on this week with
the forty nine ers, Like this is one of those
seasons that could not end faster for San Francisco, and
everyone just go take.

It has been so off the rails, it has been
so tragic, and then you add in the injuries on
top of it, one.

Last week's injury report was horrible going in with Bosa
out and with all these different injuries, and Trent was out,
and then obviously we lose McCaffrey in a non contact
injury right away, and he's.

just go to the offseason and start over. Is there
any forecasts for massive change in San Francisco?

I mean, like I wouldn't, okay, so like Jed is
one who would obviously make changes.

Jim Tumsulla fired after a year, Chim.

Kelly fired after a year, they went hired a broadcaster
as GM. And it's not like Jed York isn't afraid
to make a big swing. I do not think Kyle
Shannan or John Lynch had anything to worry about.

This has been such an outlier.

Of a season of things that those two men can't control.
And I know Niners fans are like, WHOA, Now, wait
in a second when you talk about what this team
has been through injury wise, personal LifeWise, off the field wise, definitely,
it has been one of one and I would say
that is what makes it the most disappointing season.

Those guys are safe if they want to be. Yeah, No,
I totally understand that. I think it was more understanding.
Speaker 8 (07:52):
And you know, with all of that considering, for me,
it was it was hard to put the forty nine
ers in this situation where they were the most disappointing.
So I went with the Chicago Bears. And I think
a lot of it had to do with the fact
that I really got hyped up by hard knocks. I
really did. I mean, I didn't want to be a
believer in young talent coming in and all this other stuff.

But watching Hard Knocks got me, I mean just pumped,
like I fell for it.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I actually did. Hollywood got me, It really did.
Speaker 8 (08:19):
Like I was all in for the storyline when you
think about Caleb Williams and what he was supposed to
bring to this organization. But I thought about the off
season move too, I mean bringing in Keenan Allen, DeAndre Swift.
I thought, you know, DJ Moore and going into a
second year, this was supposed to be big, coming off
of a big year, new quarterback, young quarterback, like all
of this had the making for a dynamic here, and

then they start off hot in the preseason and then
before you know it, it was just like, yep, no, this
ain't it. So yeah, I'm more disappointed.
Speaker 6 (08:47):
The answer to this question, Bears are for you. The
answer is the Jets. I mean it's the Jets. It's
not even close. It's the Jets by far. If I
have to pick these two teams, it's definitely the Bears.
The Bears don't have this crazy rash of injuries, like
the ninest injuries are fluke.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
It's just bad luck. They got all their guys out there.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
I can't give the Bears an f for this season
because Caleb looks like he's pretty good. But other than that,
it's been a massive disappointment. Incidentally, Jane, I don't know
if you saw it. There's a news report Caleb Williams
bought himself an x wing, a real x wing.

It's not air legal, but it is functional.

You just can't fly it around Chicago and bummer Josh.

The Bills are coming to town Sunday they take on

Sean McDermott's been great in second half of the season.

The Bills look phenomenal. The Rams are putting up a
great fight. Should the Bills be Peter just.

Absolutely, the Rams are playing for everything. They're livelihoods and
this is it. And I'll also give you this. This
is going to be a where Tom Brady's there and
the fox A teams there and a lot of eyeballs
are there. The Rams have now lost two home games
in a row, one of them on Monday Night football
to a lifeless Dolphins team that we saw Thursday night,

and the other one to the Eagles where the entire
stadium was green and Saquon ran all up and down.
So far, if the Rams have any pride and the
Rams fans want to show out, that would be welcomed.
Here they're playing the Bills. Bills were doing snow angels.

Josh Allen and the press conference afterwards was like, the
one seed is the goal. But I could see the
Rams coming out and saying, this is our entire season.
That's not quite the feeling in Buffalo despite their desire
to be the number one seed.

I'm still on a high from being out in Buffalo
and watching them in that amazing win against the forty
nine ers in that snow. There's no way that they
should be concerned. Everything I saw was right there. You know,
I came in very slow on the Buffalo Bills. I
just kind of wanted to see more and more and
just as a and then talking to Josh Allen's quarterback
coach Ronald Curry, I'm all in on the Bills and

adding Josh Allen's name to that MVP conversation.

long extended weekend. Like I said, very dangerous. It's not
the buyer factoid is not relevant. Just because I think

Sean McVay is the best coach in the NFL. I
do think this is a dangerous game because I can't
let the rams go six and six, get to six
and seven.

possible that a bill's lost here might be good for

Let's start with Dak Prescott talking to Yahoo Sports yesterday
with some very interesting comments on his head coach, Mike McCarthy,
and this has been sort of the elephant in the
room for the Dallas Cowboys the entire season. Obviously disappointing
season for Dak, for the Cowboys, for everyone in Dallas.
Mike McCarthy, in a contract year, did not receive a
contract extension like his quarterback did before the season and

playing out his contract, leaving the Cowboys with really an
interesting and somewhat unpressed precedented decision at the end of
the year.

They actually did it with Jason Garrett.

But across the NFL it never ever happened. So, yeah,
the Cowboys are going to have a decision. Dak Prescott saying, quote,
he definitely deserves a chance and contract and a chance
to coach his team. He Dak essentially saying he wants
McCarthy to have a chance to go out on his
terms and he wholeheartedly believes in him.

their best defensive players, Alex high Smith, missed the last
couple games with an ankle injury, Mike Tomin saying yesterday
he does, in fact expect high Smith to play there,
playing the Browns, the high octane Browns against the Steelers defense,

having a high Smith out there for sure going to help.
And then for the Los Angeles charge, they have a
huge one against the Kansas City Chiefs this week. In
my understanding, Alad McConkie is very much up in the
air as far as will he be able to play
this Sunday's dealing with two injuries. Dealing ac joint spring
in his shoulders, something that has been ongoing, and he's

also deal with a knee sprain. Both of these things
leave his availability very much in doubt.

Chargers are playing way better football, and that includes the
loss to the Ravens on Monday Night two weeks ago.
They go into Atlanta and the offense isn't even clicking

Rivers go into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs. I have
now seen Justin Herbert do it one time on a
Sunday with Brandon Staley.

I believe after being in the building for the Chiefs
Chargers game earlier in the season, when the Chiefs just
willed their way to victory and so far, I believe
that the Chargers should be favored, and I think I

love the Chargers, I just can't see the Chargers kind

then on the other side though, for the Chargers, like
the Chargers losing you know, JK. Dobbins is a big deal.

got to get Quentin Johnston his confidence back up. The
fact that they're kind of going to be struggling in
that department because they don't have really that wide receiver,

of a big year, new quarterback, young quarterback, like all
of this had the making for a dynamic here, and

then they start off hot in the preseason and then

ain't it. So yeah, I'm more disappointed.

through twelve career games. I know they lost, that wasn't

Daniels in Week thirteen became the first rookie in NFL
