Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, what's up everybody. Welcome to another edition of the
NFL Fantasy Football Show. It's me and your man namedg
Marcus Grand joined by Michael F. Floyo and Lakwan Jones.
We don't have a we don't have a word for Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
And ooh, we gotta hit the chat for that because
I don't know what Tuesday would.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Honestly, Yeah, fight bird fight, bird fight. That's what it
is here. It is though we are in Week seventeen,
it is championship week across fantasy football. For ninety nine
percent of you, I know, there's that weird one percent
of you guys who play in Week eighteen leave, leave
the league. You're not playing three dimensional chess. You're just
making yourself unnecessarily difficult.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
That's all.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
That's all you're doing. No one, you're not You're not
out smarting anybody but you. Anyway, for the rest of you,
we're gonna help you out try to win some fantasy championships.
We are going to dig into the Christmas Day and
Saturday games. We've also got some sleep. There are some
players to avoid. Plus we'll have our Bowl predictions for
Week sixteen. How many championships are you guys in championship matchups?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Are you four two?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I went from four to two because of some injuries.
But I always say my frustration for later.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
All right, that's fine. No, I was in three semi finals.
I made it through in one. I got trucked by
a couple of juggernauts the last couple of weeks. It happens,
you know, so whatever. But anyway, let's get to some news.
As always, we had our headlines to start off the show,
and some quarterback news out of Minnesota. JJ McCarthy has

(01:35):
a hairline fracture in his throwing hand. He will not
play on Christmas Day against the Detroit Lions. Will dive
into what that means a little bit later on the
Max Brosmer is going to get another start for Minnesota
as nine rehabs. You know, you wonder at this point
does he come back at all? Four week eighteen. I
don't think it necessarily foial makes sense to bring him

(01:57):
back at.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Yeah, at this point you would think they would shut
him down. The one thing about this, though, is a
must start your lines defense, because in Brosmer's loan start,
the Seahawks win for thirty fans like you get thirty
from your defense, you're gonna win a championship.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You're pretty good if you get thirty from your defense
coming up this week, So no JJ McCarthy there. We'll
talk about that a little bit later. Meanwhile, news out
of Pittsburgh DK Metcalf has been suspended for two games
after physically confronting a fan in their game this past weekend.
I look, we talked a little bit about it on Monday, Lakwan.

(02:31):
I know you said you are not going to Calvin
Austin Roots. No, absolutely not. I mean, does this potentially
impact how you feel one way or another about Aaron
Rodgers this week?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I think Aaron Rodgers having a Jayleen Warren and then
having a kind of game, well he still has no
security blankets. So honestly, without DK out there, it makes
a little bit more difficult for Aaron Rodgers to find
pass catchers downfield. So expect a pat fire move expected,
John Newsmith. Expect those guys to kind of step up
at Darnell Washington like all these other pass catchers do
become in play. But the wide receivers I'm kind of

(03:03):
staying away from because it gets really nasty there in
our aalter Smith's system.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
It's gonna be really cool when Brandon a yuk is
catching passes for the Pittsburgh Steelers last year. All right,
I mean Steelers are commanders. I think that's what's happening.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I know, hot take. Yeah, I think Kenneth Gaden Wills
their top receiver.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
And like, I don't think that's take at all. He's
gonna go for one.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Hundred receiving yards in this one. I think at this
point that's just facts.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, he could go for a hundred, Like, yeah, no,
he really could go for a hundred this week. Wouldn't
be surprised news out of Buffalo where Josh Allen is
dealing with a foot injury that has him listed as
day to day. That's sort of the bad news with this.
The good news is that he has expected to play
no surprise, obviously for the Bills. All these games are

(03:44):
important at this point. I do love that we're showing
him getting chased down by the UH by the Browns
with his old thing. I'm gonna ask you this, Floriae,
and I know what you're gonna say, but you know,
for purposes of the show, we have to ask it anyway.
Any concerns with starting Josh Allen against Philly's defense, you're
playing him either way.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
I will say this though, I do think there's a
little bit more risk with him this week than normal because, yes,
this is a big game, but the Patriots play at
one the Jets. The Bills are at four to twenty five.
If the Pats win and the Jets loose, I'm sorry
the Bills lose, they're out of the division, so like, yeah,

(04:21):
maybe that keeps them, But they also might just look
at it as like we want Josh healthy, Like maybe
they tell him not to run as much. Maybe you
don't get the tush pushing or the goal line or
something like that. But you're playing him because I think
this is going to be a very high scoring game.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Yeah no, I mean, look, if you have Josh Allen,
you're not don't overthink this, right, Like, don't come up
with some weird logic where you're like, yeah, I don't know, sure,
Like I gotta come up with a good face scenario.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
There's nobody you're starting over Josh, Like I can't. I
cannot look at myself and do that.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
I will tell you this because of what he did
last week. Nikola got eliminated. She looked at me today
and said, I'm never drafting Josh Allen again. It was like,
we'll see about that.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
You know what that just means she's a full fett
fantasy player when when you have those like emotional outbursts
like that, and he.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Got She was like, you told me all year I
have a good team. And because she was the lowest
scorer this week, like all the bad big name players
that did bad or pretty much on her team. And
I was like, but you were eleven and three with
the most points by far, like you were a good team.
So no, I wasn't. If I was, I wouldn't have lost.
All right, She's gonna remember that. And and look, I've.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Been scarred for years where I was like, I'm never
drafting Odell Beckham because I was going to the championship
and he decided to set out because he had quad
injuries when he was playing for the Giants, And I said,
then I will never draft Odell Beckham again.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Did he did he make it up for you?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
But yes, then he was very nearly Super Bowl MVP
for your team.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yes, but I still didn't draft him in fantasy ever
again after that.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Soized was really relevant fantasy, so.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
It all worked out.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
It was so easy to avoid him at that point there.
So Yeah, basically the longest short of it is, you're
starting Josh Allen. If Josh Allen plays for the Bills,
Josh Allen plays for you. Time to turn the page
and get you ready for Week seventeen will start with
a trio of games on Christmas Day. We also start
for we have our first touchdown odds in the first

(06:16):
Christmas Day game on the slate that is the Washington
Commanders hosting the Dallas Cowboys at Javonte Williams top of
the list there, followed by Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens
with even odds. Chris Rodriguez Junior the only Commander to
make the list there, followed by Jake Ferguson. The ferg
Daddy has slowed down quite a bit since a bick
start to the season. Floria, anybody are there that you

(06:40):
like the most or is there somebody maybe off book
you like?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Uh No, I do think it'll. I like Davonte Williams
because of this matchup, but one of those two receivers
I think probably catches a long touch and they both
could like the Commander's defense is just so bad that
I know it's the first game Christmas Day Thursday, but
like the Cowboys gonna win peoplechampionships this week.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
That's weird because the Christmas Day slate has strong vibes
of it was a good idea at the time. Yes,
like when they put the schedule together way back when
it was like Cowboys and Commanders, Lions and Vikings, Broncos
and Chiefs. These are all gonna be games that will
mean something at the end of the year.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
They will for fat like there's a lot of big
name fantasy players in these If it wasn't for fantasy,
forget about Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
No, I mean qubs man, we're down the QB three season, baby,
let's go well.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Speaking of which, as we look further into this Cowboys
Commander's game, Josh Johnson I was getting most of the
snaps at practice during the week because Marcus Mariota and
a couple of injuries, including a swollen hand. I believe
he got it stepped on during the game last week.
So Washington not sure if Mariota is gonna be available.
I'm gonna ask you, lakwan Is, Terry McLaurin startable without

(07:52):
Marcus Mariota. Furthermore, is any commander really startable if it's
Josh Johnson at quarterback? Terry Nyner's legend Josh jon I'm.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
About to say, I mean, look, yeah, he's been all
he's been outside for a while, But I would say
this man with Terry, it gives me a lot of
vibes like just get away if you can. Because only
one target winning Josh Johnson got in and a lot
of those targets that Josh Johnson distributed out were close
to the line of scrimmage. I'm not expecting him to
get these chunk yards where Terry can return back as

(08:22):
wide receiver one production let it, don't let alone wide
receiver two, where I think Deebo becomes more startable than
to Terry McLaurin in this game because we know those
short little dump off underneafs are going to go to him.
I think Jerrman McNichols in deeper leagues even becomes you know,
interesting as a guy for checkdowns because when Josh Johnson
got in there, man, I mean there was one play
on that interception. I don't know what he was doing.

(08:44):
I don't know what he was looking at he had
the checkdown, but he decided to go to Traylon Burks,
and that was the wrong decision. You should have just
ran out the pocket or took the checkdown. So I'm
worried about the QB decision making here in this game,
even with the soft matchup with the secondary with the
Dallas Cowboys. But yeah, he's getting out of my lineups
if I have other options.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Well, what Josh Johnson looked like last week was a
guy who had thrown five whole passes for the over
the last three seasons.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah, NFL, you know, and I'm not expecting anything different
this week. On a short week and it's the championship, folk,
I cannot put my trust into a Josh Johnson or
Terry McLaurin.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Yeah, that's that's that's rough man. It's been a rough
year for for Terry McLaurin. It's been a rough year
for the Commanders in general. I was doing some research.
H Terry McLaurin and Jayden Daniels played three games together
all season.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
That's insane, right, wow games right off?

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Jayden two though, I've seen like like, oh, all these
other quarterbacks from his class are better than him, and
so maybe, but what he was awesome last year and
then we didn't really get him at.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
All this year, didn't get him at all, and like
the injuries he had were sort of fluke injuries, I
mean just landing weird on his elbow and that sort
of Still you can't you can't prepare for stuff like that,
Like there's just no way around it. So on the
other side of things, the Cowboys announced earlier in the week,
actually late last week, that they plan on playing their
starters until the end of the season. They obviously have

(10:05):
nothing to play for, no playoffs or anything like that.
But we're gonna see Dak and Javonte and CD and
George Pickens. But when I ask you about Ryan Flinoy,
because h Flanoy, I mean, I don't know if either
of you have any feelings about him. Is he a
DFS play Florido? Do you like him at all? Is
this just like am I.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Just he.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Good?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
So like if you want I think he'd like DFS?
Is where you would throw him in if I made
the championship, I'm not going to start him because yes,
he's been more utilized as of late. He is banged
up right now, with a knee issue. But like we
know Cede Lamb is gonna get a bunch of targets.
We know George Pickens is going to get a bunch.
Then there's Jake Ferguson. You have to worry about him

(10:46):
getting involved in stealing some of those short yard targets
and those touchdown looks. So while while he's been playing
really well, I just there's too many mouths to feed,
even in a good matchup. Then in the championship week,
I think you have to avoid low floors because that
could just kill you. And his floor is very low.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Yeah, yeah, I feel like, you know, maybe if you
want to be weird, get crazy in a DFS, Yeah,
like that.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Christmas Day dfs or something like that.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Have fun. Would you stream the Cowboys defense against Josh Johnson?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
They're in play. They're not my favorite, Like the Lions
are obviously a top streaming option. The Patriots against the
Jets are another really good streaming option. I think the
Giants are in play and the Raiders kind of you
can make a case for both of those defenses, but
I think the Cowboys kind of slide in there. The
Bucks are another one I like to me they're like
a secondary streaming option. But if you could get like

(11:38):
one of the Lions or the Patriots, those are the
two that I would be most aggressively trying to get.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
All Right, it was like a weird question, but like
it actually kind of makes sense just because Josh Johnson, Yes,
play there when we come back. A couple more Christmas
Day games on Tap plus of the Saturday games to
dive into that and plenty more coming up on the
NFL Fantasy Football Show. In two of the Christmas Day

(12:04):
triple header takes place in Minneapolis. The Detroit Lions, off
a really tough loss last week and backs against the
wall for the playoffs, had to take on the Minnesota Vikings.
You can see that game four thirty eight pm Eastern
Time on the Netflix. The Vikings have been very good
against the run so far this year. Lakwan Jamier Gibbs

(12:25):
Diyd not have a great game last week. Pittsburgh pretty
much shut him down. Any real concerns I'm not saying
you're gonna sit jamiir games, but any worries about him
against this Vikings defense.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, because last time they played early in the seed,
they shut him down, and then you have Dan Campbell
on the sticks now, and he will avoid the run
at all calls. It just becomes down to check down
Jamiir Gibbs where that's kind of what happened last week,
Like Gibbs in the middle of the fourth quarter had
six fantasy Like it was the back end of the
game where he started getting a lot of those opportunities.
In PPR formats, you love those low checkdowns, So I

(12:57):
think this is what it kind of turns into this
game where you're just going to be watching how many
times they're going to be handing the rock off to
them or having run plays in general, because David Montgomery's
not even touching the ball back there either. So it's
kind of one of those things you hope that Dan
Campbell doesn't avoid the run completely because the Vikings they
have been vicious against the run. Running backs have been
struggling just to put up yards on them. So I

(13:18):
think Gigs become more of a wide receiver in here.
So those PPR formats you might be in good hands.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
I just it feels like one just mentioned the Vikings
have been good against running backs, but it also feels
like the last couple of weeks teams are like, you
know what, We're going to try to take Jamior Gibbs
away from you apps right now.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
The one thing is the Vikings. They haven't They've allowed
one passing touchdowns since Week ten, like they're elite. They're
allowing like four points per game in the last month
to quarterbacks like fantasy. Like they're so good against the
past that I think the Lions might just have to
run because you can't throw.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Yeah, this is a big game for Detroit. I mean
now Minnesota is pretty much out of it. We talked
about they're not going to have JJ McCarthy, so they
are playing more for pride. I no McCarthy this week.
Max Brosmer expected to get the start. Jordan Mason looking
like he's not going to play. The Lions have not

(14:11):
been great against or they've been okay against running backs.
I should say they've not been great against wide receivers.
They're not being great aginst wide receivers. Would you play
Aaron Jones in this one?

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I don't think I would because they've struggled against the
run more As of late early in the year, they
were one of the tougher matchups. But if you're the Lions. Right,
You're like, let's stop the run and let's dare Max
Brosman to beat us. And that's my thinking at least. Plus,
I look at Aaron Jones game log right, like I
liked him. Last week. I had him as a start

(14:41):
against the New York Giants in a game where Jordan
Mason left early, very early. He did have a good game,
running for eighty five yards, win for ninety three totals,
still just eleven point three Fantasy points, and the sad
part is that's his best game since Week ten. So,
like the floor is less than five Fantasy points in
most in some weeks it's always in the single digits

(15:02):
and the ceiling like he has he hasn't reached sixteen
points all year. He's twice reached fifteen. So to me,
I don't think the upside is worth the risk here. Like,
if you're in a pinch, sure he's gonna get volume.
You could use him there, But if I have another option,
then I'm guessing if you're in the championship, you have
another option.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
I'm not looking to get to force Jones into my
line up. Yeah, it's been a tough year for Aaron Jones.
You know, I think this he's barely been relevant. This
is probably the last year we see Aaron Jones in
a relevant I.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Mean he was at our talent boot camp, so yeah,
he might be having plans.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
For after football.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
So there you go. Mason the future.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Jordan Mason is the future man. He just gotta stay healthy.
He's got to stay healthy, and they have to improve
that old line. I mean, like Jordan Mason will be
seeing with the forty winers. We see how explosive, how
he can bully the trenches, like he's able to actually
be an RB one workers. But this old line is
just terrible. Man, he runs that outside his own scheme
that KOC wants to run. So it's like he kind
of fits the glove.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
You know, somebody give you a dollar every time you
say that.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
What what happened?

Speaker 1 (16:01):
What did I say? It's like, cub, do you like
I want? Are you gonna like slide him a dollar
when I walk out of the room, because he was
able to slip in.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
If we need to get like a counter in the corner,
that's just like forty one ers counting.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Oh the forty one.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
I can't It's just I can't help myself. Sometimes I
just dislike that entire organization.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
I'm sorry. Who who's in second place in the area.
This guy's turning the night.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Who could potentially play their next five games at home?
Like there's a chance that the Niners next road game
might be Week two of next year.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Have you guys won in the Super Bowl? It's been
a while. I mean I was just born the last
time you guys were there just saying.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Yeah, five.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
But you know a lot of your new fans have
not seen a Super Bowl win, so.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
I've had thirty years to catch up. You haven't caught
up yet.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Okay, next next game? What would happen if the if
the forty nine ers beat the Seahawks and they all
finish with four losses, you guys are the one seed,
then yes.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Because they have the best record in the division.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Would but you guys are through the second Would you
guys play?

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Who would be like you and we won? Anyway? Bronco's
at Chiefs Before this show goes completely off the rails
and I cat Broncos at Chiefs eight fifteen pm Eastern.
You see that on Prime video, a game that, again
back in May look like it was gonna be pretty special.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Now not so much.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
It could be Chris Alatacun potentially starting for the Kansas
City Chiefs. We saw the Chiefs get carved up last
week by the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
It was not very good.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
The Broncos wide receivers have been sort of hard to
figure out. How many of them would you start? How
deep would you go on Broncos wide receivers this week,
pauls I would say this.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
I would go to Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. That's
about it, because that's the only two you could really trust.
Pat Brian is dealing with a concussion unfortunately, but he's
been looking like the wide receiver two for them, but
more so now Marvin Mins become one of those deeper
leagues plays, but you can't really trust his vibe or
his opportunities. But Troy Franklin man, when't given opportunity on
the field, he shows up, as you can see in

(17:59):
the b row Man Like. I look at Courtland Sun
and him as the only two wide receivers you could trust.
And with Cam Wore going out there basically going out
there balling against this Chief defense, I can only imagine.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
What Bo was about to do.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, I mean, look, you look good. I was watching
that game again last night and I was like, I
saw Marvin Memes. Remember when he was actually gonna be
a thing.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
I wanted him to be a thing, but Sean Payton
refused to let him be a thing.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
But it's fine.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
It's fine though, right, Like he gets sprinkled in every
now and then DFS or whatever. Basketball, he's a best
ball guy. Let's just say that for the rest of
the time that he's playing for the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
That's pretty much it. Yeah, yeah, uh, Floria, are you
starting any Chiefs at all?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Nope, Like I ik starting Citta will be out tomorrow.
I wrote up for she Rice as they said, we
don't know if he's gonna be Yeah. Xavier Worthy is
absolutely like you could drop xaver Worthy at this point.
Travis Kelcey, I think, is the one, and I'm facing
Travis Kelcey somehow in multiple championships. I don't know how
these people got there with their one point six PPR

(19:02):
points last week from him. But now he's gonna be
the only guy out there that the Broncos really game
plan around. And the Broncos have a week to prepare
for the third string quarterback who threw his first NFL
pass last week. So yeah, I want I have the
Broncos defense in a championship where I'm facing Travis Kelcey,

(19:23):
and I'm like, I'd rather have the Broncos defense than
Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Absolutely, I think the Broncos defense outscores everybody on the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Hopefully not R J. Harvey, because I also have.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
It is wild. Travis kelce is the tight end three
this year and.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
I'm like, how really, Like, I don't know, He's gonna
get jumped by Harold Fan and Junior this week probably terribly.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Probably meant there's really there's literally five points between Travis
kelce and Harold Fan and Junior.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
So very well, he's got three guys that he has
a chance to jump. He just needs to jump one,
gotta get past one.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
To wait.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
I just realized Ferguson and Kelsey play on Christmas Day,
so you will know on Sunday what Harold Fan and
Junior needs.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Basically, yea, Harold Fannon is deferred and he gets the
ball in the second half, like he's gonna figure out
what he has. My boy, you know you're gonna see
what happens. But yeah, Broncos Chiefs again. Seems like it's
gonna be a good idea and not gonna be a
good idea, uh, and probably not a good idea to
start any Kansas City players.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
My wife is not happy about this blonde hair thing.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Oh, let that be a lesson to you. Don't don't
make bets unsolicited. That's all you know. I'm gonna do
it again just for the credit, you know, and I'm
gonna stop it made a different.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Color, like, it should be a different color. It has
to be wear.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
It should be the primary color of the team of
the player.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
No, you how to die your hair Brown's orange?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
I would I mean, like, you know, if there's like
a Vikings tight end or something like that and you
have to go Purpec and Concorde almost made it. I
almost pulled that Triger until they drafted gunner Helm. Ing's
blue would have been dope.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
I love that gunner Helm scared you away, but divid
and Jok who didn't, Well he's a Taylorham guy. So
that tells you everything about all.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Right, time to get to the Saturday games. We'll start
with the Texans and the Chargers. I'll see that one
here on NFL Network Saturday at four thirty pm Eastern Time, Florida.
Which version of CJ. Stroud shows up? Well, a real
slow shady please stand up. It doesn't matter. Would you
start either version of CJ. Stroud against the Chargers?

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Is there even two versions of CJ Stroud? I feel
like it's CJ Stroud and then it's CJ. Stroud in
a favorable matchup. Well, that's kind of what it is. Like, Yeah,
he put up numbers against the Cardinals, he played well
against the forty nine ers. Outside of that, it's like
less than thirteen Fantasy points every week, and the Chargers
are so tough against the past, like this game could

(21:47):
be a field goal battle, like if you have Fairbairn
or Dick or the kicker, like feel good about it
because they're probably gonna be like an eighteen to fifteen
type of game or something like that. But I originally
had c J. Stroud as they sit this week, and
then I was like, is anyone even considering starting him?
And I just straight up deleted him because I'm like, no,
if you went it this far, you're not playing c J.

(22:09):
Stroud against the Chargers in a championship. Yeah, I was.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
I was putting the other list of like players to
avoid potentially this week, and I had the same thought process, like, hey,
you should avoid CJ. Stroud. I'm like, everybody's gonna be yeah,
of course, like okay, so so maybe it was. It
was good for a year. I think he could kind
of get you want maybe duplicate that, but I think
he can get closer.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
They need to give him an whole line.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Maybe one more caller like Nick Hayley is great, he
comes from the McVeigh tree, but this is his first year.
There's no identity on that offense, like completely just Blandy.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
They needed one more receiver to They need somebody to
compliment Nico.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
We need Tank back next year.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Man.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
I hope he comes back. Yes, iowas take guys. They
could maybe become Hagen's is.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Good, Noel's good. It's like they're not hitting where they
need to go.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
Like it's just but how like I blame the offense
a lot for that. Yeah, not all on Strout.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
I just I think as good as their defense as
they can focus on the offensive side of the ball
this offseason and try to upgrade there. On the other side,
last week, Ashton Gentz went off against this text and
everybody says, right, exactly pretty much everybody's betch. So having
seen that, would you start o Mari and Hampton this week?

Speaker 3 (23:23):
I would?

Speaker 2 (23:23):
I think with the kamani Idell dealing with a neck injury,
Hampton gets the workhorse opportunity that we all been waiting for.
And I think Haskins might get sprinkled in, but we've
seen a little bit of him and Kamani Videll split
that backfield in by Dell basically took over that backfield alone.
So I think the same thing happens with Hampton. So
if you have Hampton, don't hesitate put him in as
your RB two RB one production could be on the

(23:45):
table for him this week.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Yeah, Also what Bidal probably not going to play. So yeah,
a lot of a Mari and Hampton coming up this
weekend for the Chargers Ravens at the Packers, your other
Saturday night contess. You can see that at eight pm
Eastern time on PA Lamar Jackson dealing with what's being
called a significant back contusion. He is listed as day

(24:07):
to day, aren't we all. I would think that at
this point it's just I mean, it just doesn't make
sense necessarily for them to try and rush him back.
Like as beat up as he's been this year, I
wouldn't be surprised if they shut him down for the
rest of the season. But it looks like Tyler Huntley's
gonna play this week. I should I should be formal

(24:27):
and say Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler Huntley, who's startable in
this offense?

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Florido.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
If it is Huntley playing.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
I think Zay Flowers, because Zay Flowers thrives against zone coverage.
He he has it's like four or five hundred more
yards against zone than any other Raven and the Packers
play zone at a top five rate in football. Plus,
I mean, the Packers have struggled against receivers as of late.
Since Week twelve, they've allowed the most touchdowns and the

(24:57):
seventh most yards to the position. So I think he
is the only pass catcher you could play with any
sort of confidence. I also think you played Dereck Henry
because he's Dereck Henry and they're gonna give him the
ball a whole bunch. But yeah, this is a game
that earlier in the year I was like, man, a
lot of championships are probably gonna won't be won on
this game. And now it's like those are the two
Ravens I feel good about, and I even Josh Jacobs included,

(25:20):
I don't feel really good about any of the Packers.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Very quietly. Zay Flowers has had a nice season.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
He just gotta get touchdown.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
He can't. Didn't score touchdowns. That's probably the one big
frustration with him. But he had the big spike week
in Week one where he had like twenty eight points.
Then he's been over twenty I think in two of
his last three. In between there was a long touchdown drought,
but he's been the floor has been eleven points like
every single week.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
I think he's really good in real life, but he's
one of those players I've seen on social media like
kind of how you don't like hiring Ravens. Fans don't
like Zay Flowers because apparently once the game he'll do
like something really weird that hurts the team. But for
fantasy I think he's awesome.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
First of all, I like Okay, I just don't like
that he fumbled the ball. Does like I'm not sold
that he likes Kyron.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
When you follow the ball, you become on my bad list.
So it's one of those things I just hate when
he pomosed the ball in crucial moments. Like he's been
good lately. Though he's been good, he's been cooking, like
him to.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Take a walk on the four h five and rush
out as much as you know you want Jock quest
Hunter to have the job.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
And it was some dark times over the summer.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Man. Yeah, but as we're talking about running backs and
Florido sort of hinted at it here, right, Josh Jacobs,
he doesn't really feel great about. He was dealing with
some injuries last week. He decided to play, but it
ended up being Emmanuel Wilson that gave us a whole
lot of opportunity there. So is Wilson startable even if
Josh Jacobs plays this.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Week, No, Like I think Josh Jacob's dealing with multiple injuries,
Like if my boy is in a wheelchair, he's still
going to get fourteen touches. Like that's exactly what happened
last week. He's dealing with multiple injuries and he still
split with Emmanuel Wilson. And like Wilson's great, he has
the talent in real life Football eighty two scrimming shards
last week. But you're more so looking at it an
annoying factor that Josh Shacobs just doesn't get shut down,

(27:03):
like you kind of hope that you know, they already
make their report, like, hey, Josh Shacob's done for the
regular season. They're planning for a playoff so.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
He can get healthy.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
But Emania Wilson does not seem like a good play
this week with the Ravens making those back end of
the season adjustments like they have allowed the fifth few
is rushing yards in the last couple of games, like
since we ten Actually, so it's one of those things
where the matchup isn't great and he also has Josh
Jacobs to split win. Now he does not become anywhere
near the starting lineup.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
This Yeah, the Josh Shakobs things is really frustrating too
because he's been so good for you down but led
Wilson ball, I mean, yeah, but obviously the Packers need
these wins too well to try and lock up a
playoff spot. So it's it's just really frustrating trying to
navigate that whole thing. Time for a break, but when

(27:48):
we come back, we'll give you our fantasy stocking stuffers,
plus some bold predictions for the week. All right, time
for some fantasy stocking stuffer what we're calling sleepers this week.
Guys who you know, maybe not top of mind, but
a little bit of something extra that can help you
win a fantasy championship here in week seventeen. So if

(28:10):
you were looking at a fantasy stocking stuff for LaQuan,
who would you be looking at.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
I'm looking at Tyler Algier against the Rams. Like I
pointed something now on Twitter earlier this week where I
was just basically saying, like one of the area's concerns
is the mistackle rate that the Rams have allowed coming
out of Dubai, Like it's above league average right now
to where you have Tyler had Jeer, who is going
to be the hammer of this backfield. So I think
the Falcons are going to lean on the run this game,
try to manipulate, you know, the run game where they're

(28:37):
going to have you know, Drake London out there, Kyle
Pitts and get that play action going where Tyler Algeer
left a couple of Cardinals limping off the field last week.
So I think I'm looking at a really good situation
where Tyler Aljeer might be in my flex this week
personally for my championship game against my Rams.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Look, I got nothing against Tyler Algier. I don't know him.
I would imagine he's a decent guy. But can we
not have him on the Falcons next year?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
He deserves the starting job.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Like his rookie year, he put up one thousand yards,
like he put up a thousand yards his rookie year,
and like folks kind of looked at that as nothing,
like the dude can play like he could ball.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
He he needs a shot, not next to Jon Robinson.
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Seventeen opportunities. Let him go. So let him go to Minnesota,
let him go to the Rams, let him go anywhere
that needs a running back.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
But we don't need a running back in Minnesota. We
like Jordan Mason, chill out, I'll put.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Him in it.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
I just want Bejon free man.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
It's just just freaking ball too. Like Jean Robinson.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
The crazy thing is like Beijon. Look, he's amazing. I
don't got to tell you that he's the RB four
on the year, but like he's doing like sixty percent
of the opportunity. Imagine if that goes up with him
even more, I'd be greedy for he.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Morse is out here like saying, oh, Jon Robinson is
the best player in football, will treat him like it?

Speaker 3 (29:52):
Kid kwom could attest to this. We did like a
What's Your Beef segment on a Sunday show, and I
just like, look, I was like, if he's the best
player in the world, why you're not using him in
the red zone? Why are you're not using me your
the goal line.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Is good in the red zone.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
That's why he's not the best player in the world.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
I know.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Imagine Michael Jordan being like, let's give it to someone else,
like it's not gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
I mean, geeze, everybody else thinks their best player just
gives them the ball a lot. I mean, yeah, Kyle
Shanahan built a whole play out of Christian McCaffrey. Why
did you do the same thing down there in Atlanta?
That's all I'm saying, Florida, who is your stocking stuffer
for this year?

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Ramandre Stevenson, who unfortunately is not the Patriots running back
that I thought would win you league championships, but a
Patriots running back is still winning people titles this week,
I think because we saw last week Remandre turned eleven
opportunities into seventy eight yards and a touchdown. But I'm
anticipating the Patriots to practice caution here. They are in

(30:47):
the playoffs already, they beat two backup quarterbacks, they win
the division, they could get the buy all of that,
But we saw what happened to Steve to Henderson last week.
Like I would be surprised if he ends up suiting
up this week, and if not, it is a fantastic
matchup for Stevenson. The Jets have allowed these second most
fantasy points two running backs in the last month. I

(31:07):
think the Patriots scored a bunch of points, which obviously
leads to touchdown opportunities for him. It leads to positive
game script. And yeah, the Jets, they are just they
might be the worst team in football right now, and
you can just run.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
All over them. Yeah, just in the season, That's what
it is. For the other part of Remandre is that
he's kind of calmed the fumbling issues like that was
a big thing early in the season, and that's why
I know Patriots fans are upset. I know, folks that
had Trevon Henderson were upset. It's like, how's this guy
still getting opportunities after he's putting the ball on the ground.

(31:41):
He seems to have, you know, put that behind him.
At least for the time being, it hasn't been an issue.
Later him and Karen linked up and kind of got
there early. You know, like, I don't know if you've
ever seen the movie the program, but they're they're sort
of Darnell Jefferson, right. It's like, if anybody brings this
football back to me except for you, who's gonna be problems.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
You know, I've never seen it. I know, you know,
I've never seen anything.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
I'm just by mentally making notes of movies to put
on the list for the random Moviean.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
And Quaba producer once had an argument, like a debate
over who's the bigger movie buff?

Speaker 1 (32:12):
So, bro, you haven't seen this, but he says, you
haven't seen the Shawshank Redemption, Like how do you make
that claim? Like at all? There's a lot of dialogue
in there.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
I'm going to watch that movie and we'll get past this.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
I'm just saying. I'm just saying, you haven't seen the movie.
You can't call yourself a movie buff if you haven't
seen whatever horror movie ever created or made, Like, I
don't say any I just haven't seen a lot of them.
You never seen I've seen like one of them.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
I know you don't go into like year three, but
it's so funny.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
I'm gonna I don't even I don't know how how
to segue from that by stocking stuff is Juwan Johnson,
and it's nice to have him back in our lives again,
right because he was a thing at the beginning of
the season, then he went away for a while. He
had a couple weeks in the middle of the season,
then he went away again. I mean he's you know,
he's kind of like Clouds in Los Angeles, Like he
shows up, then he comes back, and then he goes

(33:14):
away again. This analogy's falling apart. Just roll some video plays. Look,
the point is Juwan Johnson is starting to get some
more opportunities again in this offense. We know Chris o'lave
is gonna get targets, but Johnson's back to being the
second option here and he's got a good matchup against
the Titans, who've been bad against title They've been bad
against most every position all year long, but especially against

(33:36):
the tight ends. So I think Juwan Johnson gets some opportunities.
Hopefully they are from Chuck and not from Taysom Hill.
Even though Florida was caping for Taysom Hill on our
Monday show, he threw.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
A touchdown, he had six targets that help nobody. All
this does, sure, but I'm not saying you set Taysom
Hill in your lineup and forget about it. But if
you're in need of a tight end this week and
Taysom Hill's out there.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Last week's game feels like bait.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
It's very much so is like two points, but I
think I take a shot him over Like, I don't know,
there's other tit ands I like this week too.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Dunner Helm, Yeah, Hill, all right, all right, that's fair,
all right, So those are stocking stuffers. Now sign for
Fantasy Crampis and everybodys do Fantasy Grinch. But like Crampis
needs more attention, right because you know, Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas,
you know, brings toys and goodies to all the good
boys and girls. Well, if you're a naughty child, then

(34:38):
Crampis packs you up in his backpack. It takes you
off to the underworld.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
That is true.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Have you seen the horror movie of that? I know
it exists, but I have not seen Crampis now. The
idea of it just makes me laugh, though the whole
concept of Crampis makes me giggle. So anyway, we're gonna
do fantasy Crampus right now. These are the guys that
you want to avoid lest they put you in some
wicker bass and take you off to the underworld or
something like that.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
So, uh, look, what, who is your fantasy Crampis now?
I have to pound the table for this because the
fantasy streets have been hitting in the DM. Keep pounding,
keep pounding the table for there.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
No, I'm sending it up for the Panthers backfield to
avoy like. You have to avoid them because I honestly
think it's one of those headaches you want to avoid
in championship level type of play because they're not going
to give you that safe floor and their ceilings are
very low. In the last three games, we've seen them
split the backfield pretty evenly, where Chuba Hubbard actually has
more scrimming shows than Rico Daddle Like this Panther's run

(35:34):
game completely fell off a cliff. I don't know why
it's happening, but it's happening right now where Chuba Hubbard
and Rico Dada are splitting the carries where you cannot
even name you know, who's going to be the guy
that week that's going to be stepping up for you
in starting lineups.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Last week they did a thing where in the first
half it was Ricodowdell who would play first and second downs,
and then Choba Hubbard would do third down, and then
in the second half they reversed that where hub got
first and second down to Rigo down.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
It's not working, so why are we doing this? I
don't know, you know what. I also was reminded of,
like we should have been pounding the table to sell
high on Rico Downell.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Oh yeah, he came.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Who he's always better.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
I think we actually were like whispering that, Like I
think we should have been louder about it, but like
it was one of those situations where it's like, well,
Tuber hasn't been good or healthy, so it's obviously going
to be Rico game majority of the touches. But Juba
looks to be healthy now, and he turned up in
the RAM, which kind goes.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Back to back two hundred yard games. That was the
highest his value is ever going to be a record.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Yeah, probably should have known better at that point. H Floria,
who is your crampis Travis Kelcey?

Speaker 3 (36:39):
I said earlier. I went and trust any of the Chiefs.
That includes uh, mister Kelsey who last week had one
catch for six yards, and I know he had he
had success against the Broncos in their first matchup, and
I know the Broncos have struggled against tight ends. It's
kind of their one weakness on defense. And yeah, this
might be his final hurrah with the chief they're trying

(37:00):
to pad his number. I don't care about any of that,
because if you're Denver, right, you're looking at the Chiefs
being like, if we slow down eighty seven without Rashid
Rice being out there, where else are they going with
the ball? Xavier' Worthy's going to take himself out of
the game. Uh, They're like, They're just there's no option
there that scares you, even out of the backfield, Like
I know they were throwing a Pacheco last week. Cool,

(37:21):
that's a win for the Broncos. I think, uh so, yeah,
I wouldn't be. So they might put cirtan on Travis Kelce,
Like that's how much of it could be bad for him.
So I'm I'm sitting look Travis Kelce, I might throw
Taysom Hill out there.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Oh God, spicy, spicy right now. I like it. So
mine isn't maybe just a straight up a void, but
it's very much a beware of Jonathan Taylor right now.
Philip Rivers is a cute, fun story and like he's
all dadding it up out there night because literally, because
like the four of them, like three of us and

(37:57):
one more person, we're just as effective a pass rush
as well. The Niners put together in the first half
is when they started blitzing in the second half that
you know, they started to get to Philip Rivers a
little bit. But one thing that has sort of been
constant is Philip Rivers at quarterback has not been good
for Jonathan Taylor at running back. I don't know if
it's because they're working so much out a shotgun or
if it's just the teams are like, you know what,

(38:17):
we're going to game plan for Jonathan Taylor and you'll
force Rivers to try to beat us with these like
balloons he's throwing out there. But it's not a good
situation on you know, initially on top of it's just
a bad matchup on paper against the Jaguars, who have
been really good defensively, especially for the back half of
the season. So I know it's hard to get away
from Jonathan Taylor, and I get it if you're starting him,

(38:39):
but man, I if you don't score a touchdown on
Monday Night, he uho ten points? That's not good. Yeah,
that's not good at all.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
One a world where everyone was like, man, they can't
run the ball, but Philip Rivers is lighting it.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Up, honestly, like I thought, I mean, going into Monday Night,
I was like, my fear as a Niner fan was
Jonathan Taylor's gonna run for like a buck fifty. Yeah, no,
shut down Philip Rivers, but it'll be Jonathan Taylor that
lights them up. And it was kind of the opposite
of that.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
I also love that like Rivers was just throwing these
moon balls and being like Pierce, Pittman.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
Go up and just help and it worked. Yeah. I
didn't think Alec Pierce would give you eighty six and
teen was going off. Did not think that was going
to happen at all. But at some point the magic
Cole's got to play Rivers again this week, right, Like, yeah,
this was run the string.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
So basically because they play each other week eighteen, So
if the Colts win and the Texans lose to the Chargers,
which is very realistic, that because yesterday they kept being like,
well now you got to make a quarterback change, but
like they're still alive. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
Also, I just I used to just play out the string.
You brought Philip Rivers ya, and like you just play
out the string with him? One way. I mean, I'll
also say that they've lost the two games with him,
but I don't think Rivers is the reason they lost
those two nos either.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
So the only way I think if Anthony Richardson is ready,
guys have to say, Ryley, there's a reason for this
mop up duty, Like that's what he's on right now.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Why would you Why would you put in the student
when you have the sensey on the roster, Like, why
would you do that? So you just let that be
a thing and you ride it out with Philip Rivers.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
That is what If the Colts get eliminated they should
this week, they should do Rivers the favor and not
play him against Houston.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
Ye only, Yeah, that might be you might get hurt.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
That might be a retirement game. Again, that might be
the end.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
Get yourself for coming. No, it's not far as Spicy
takes for Week seventeen, I like. I like this week
back to back week.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
I'm ride with cam Ward. He is going to win
a bunch of people their Super Flex Championship games because
we've seen him go up against difficult matchups against the
Seahawks where he put up eighteen fantasy points. We saw
him light up the Chiefs last last week. The Saints
have been very difficult against the pass and since the
last couple of weeks, since Week ten, where they're allowing
the fifth fewest passing yards. But cam Ward is bawling

(40:55):
out right. Now you have Elkiu Manor and you have
DK going down there stretching the field where I think
this could be the opportunity where cam Ward delivers another
QB one performance this week.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
He's been very good at protecting the football. Yes, I
think he had six interceptions. I think through the first
nine weeks and then since the bye I had I
think the week and buy or whatever.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
Right out to the run game too, man, Tony Pollard,
Taj Spears. They've been handling the workload.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Yeah, since the by nine total touchdowns, one rushing, eight passing,
and like just one interception. That's it.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
So he's doing a litle bitalling Warden Schuck or two quarterbacks.
I'm excited to kind of when this all dies down
to just go back and.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Watch right what it looks like. Yeah, what's your your
hot take for this week?

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Much bigger name than cam Ward, but Trey McBride, obviously
you're playing him, you all know that. But I think
he sets a new career high in receiving yards. His
previous high is one thirty four.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
Is that against the Rams?

Speaker 3 (41:48):
It might have been I'm not sure offhand.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Well, okay, I just need you know for the facts
so people can get the information.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
That's all all right. When you're giving your hot take, Marcus,
I will quickly look it up. But if you look,
the Bengals have allowed the most of every category two
tight ends, but specifically in yards, they've allowed more than
three hundred than any other team in the league, three
hundred yards more than any other Like it's crazy and
the way things usually work in fantasy is like Trey

(42:17):
McBride was awful last week, worst game of the season,
a lot of his managers lost, and now he's gonna
go off when you're all gonna sit there and be like,
I would have won my championship if I had him.
But I have him in a championship game that I
survived last week, and I've already texted my co manager, like,
we have Jamar Chase and Trey McBride in this one.
I'm like they could each go for thirty because of
how good the matchups are. Like that game I think

(42:39):
is going to win people more championships in any game
the Bengals and the Cardinals have all.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Also, by the way, it was actually the couple weeks
ago against the Texans that he he did he.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Had like one thirty three in a game two did
that come against?

Speaker 1 (42:52):
That game against Seattle High against the Rams was one three?

Speaker 3 (42:58):
Oh, So it's ten O.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
When I interviewed Trey last year in New Orleans, he
kind of made sure I was known that his first
touchdown in the season came against us, the Rams, so he's, uh,
he got some beef with the Rams.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
So I don't think that we.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Are gonna let him go out there and put up
career highs on us.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
The twelve catches against the Rams, though, tied.

Speaker 3 (43:15):
A career high and tied it might go thirteen catches,
one hundred and fifty yards and like four touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Well, the fantasy guys have not been nice, so I
think this is an Elijah Higgins game probably going to
be happening like it was last week.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
He's only ever had ten catches against the forty nine
the Bengals game. My hot take, my Bowl prediction, My
hot take for the week. Trevor Lawrence scores thirty or
more fantasy points for the third straight week. Wow has
been on an absolute heater over the last I believe

(43:48):
the last four weeks fourteen total touchdowns, no interceptions for
Trevor Lawrence. Again, he's looking more like Clemson Trevor Lawrence
the last few weeks. And just in case we didn't believe,
if we had any doubts, the fact that he went
out and bald and gave you thirty points against the
Broncos last week, is running the football, is just watching

(44:10):
him throw the ball like he is playing with a
confidence that we have not seen and I watched that game,
and in my head, I was like, what would he
be if he didn't have that weird, dysfunctional Urban Meyer
season as a rookie, Like what what could he have
been if he didn't just lose a whole year of
development to a just a weird circus. Who knows, But

(44:30):
I think he stays hot this week. I just I
think he continues to play well.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
If he does this, I'll call him t law. Yeah
I does.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Yes, the Colts. The Colts just gave up thirty to
brock Purty. H They've been struggling as wide receivers. I
think I think another big week is coming.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
So he belongs to me in the same tier as
like Baker and Sam Darnold, who, like I know, those
guys changed teams before they reached new heights, like Trevor
stayed on the same team, but they got put with
the right coach. And now we're finally seeing him six years,
five years and live.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
Up to that.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Yeah, those high expectations, Yeah for sure.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
All right, before we get out of here, of course,
your Christmas is coming in just a couple of days.
Why don't you just kind of go around the horn
like have a little sincere moment. Luke On, you have
a favorite Christmas memory or tradition or something like that.

Speaker 2 (45:15):
I'll say memory like back in Jersey, we will wake
up really really early and stuff, go to Grandma's house
and like she would have all the best gifts, So
like go in to Grandma's house having the cookies, having
the breakfast meal already ready when we get there. Like
that's one of those good fond memories as a kid,
Like I always like go back to and like hope
I can live again, you know, go back to Jersey
one of these Christmases and do it all over again.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
Very cool, how about you.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
I lived in an apartment and we had like a
little sliding door to our hallway that would block off
like where our tree was and stuff. So I remember
like having to wait my parents, like you can't wake
up early. And that was like seven or seven adult
of like I understand why I hated it, but I
just remember always like running and opening that slotting door
and then just like seeing the gifts. And I have

(45:58):
certain ones that I remember. And then an now which
tradition me nicol at every Christmas Eve she bakes cookies
all the time. So like we'll take cookies and like
hot chocolate or whatever and just go look at Christmas lights.
That's like I'm looking forward to doing that this year again.
It's something I enjoy doing.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Very cool. Yeah for me, it's just it was about it.
But I don't cook now on things on Christmas. I
do my cooking on Thanksgiving. But my mom would always
cook a lot and so like a big pot of
like seafood Dumbo, and she would do homemade ice cream
and ice homemade ice cream usually like she started doing
candy cane ice cream where she would like crush up
candy canes.

Speaker 3 (46:30):
And you make the peanut butter yourself. I see where
you get it from.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
Then you make it peanut butter. Yet, but I do
make you know, I make a you make peanut butter.
I've tried. I thought about it. I haven't done it.

Speaker 3 (46:40):
He's gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
I will do it at some point. I will do it.

Speaker 3 (46:42):
But just like the food portion of it.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Yeah, the gifts, I do have gifts, I remember, but
just a lot of like eating really good now and
stuff like that. Always always like a big slow cooker
full of like homemade apple sider, spiced cider and stuff
like that. Was that. Now I've made it once. I
maybe I'll do it again this year. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
Maybe we'll say as an adult, that must hit better
than when you were a kid. I imagine.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Well, now as an adult, I can put attitudes that
I couldn't have put in it as a kid. So yeah,
that was That was a big part of it. So
uh anyway, this is a little bit of a little
bit of good cheer. You will tie cheer if you
will to end the show, because that is it. We
are done. We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL
Fantasy Football show. You know the drill. Tell two friends
to tell two friends rate review and remember nothing's as

(47:28):
mean as giving a little child something useful for Christmas.
Be safe, take care of yourselves. We'll talk to you
again real soon. Wo
