Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow. It's a Friday, Week fourteen edition of the Fantasy
Football Podcast. I'm Marcus Grant. I'll be joined by Adam
Rank and Michael F. Florio. Was Jamiir Gibbs so good
last night that you should have him on the top
of your Fantasy twenty twenty six rankings plus all the

(00:20):
starts and since for the final weekend of the fantasy
regular season. Thanks for tuning in to the Fantasy Live
edition of the Fantasy Football Podcast. Me, Florio and LQ
will be back in your feet on Monday. Happy Friday, everybody,
Welcome to another edition of NFL Fantasy Live. And Marcus Grant,
that is Adam Rank, that is Michael F. Florio Florio's
he's sporting the jacket today. But more importantly, how's your

(00:41):
fantasy team looking after last night?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's looking some of them are looking pretty good.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
All the ones that I already have in the playoffs,
those teams went off.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
The team that I'm fighting for my playoff life. That
one has.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
George Pickens, so that one isn't going great, but the
others are off to.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
A good start.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
I think a genius after last night, I just do.
I yeah, I mean, I usually do. But yes, it's
one of those things that I just realized, I have
George Pickens in a league where I'm going for the
number one seed. That's not going to work out too well.
But you're you're still gonna be like the two seed
at worst. This was three of us at the top
that are good. This feels topable anyway. Entertaining game the

(01:18):
Cowboys and the Lions last night took away a few
things from that fantasy matchup break. What was one thing
that you learned from there? The Lions are not dead yet.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
I know everybody spent the week talking about how the
Lions were going to drop to a twelve percent chance
of making the playoffs, that they had lost that I.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Knew they were winning that game. Go check it out,
it's online.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
All the Cowboy fans were coming at me during the
week because I had predicted a high scoring win for
the Lions, and I don't know why Cowboy fans still
do this, Like of course that was exactly what was
going to happen. We saw Jared Goff step up in
this one, but mostly it was Jamior Gibbs who was
able to go out there and perform at.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
A high level.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Tonight or last night to get the Lions a much
needed victory to moving on and again in a conference
where it feels like at least eleven you need at
least eleven wins to make the playoffs, this was a
huge win for the Lions.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, it was a huge win because of Jamiir Gibbs.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
And there was once a time where people said he's
not gonna be good because he weighs one hundred and
ninety nine pounds and.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Not two hundred.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Well, now he's just the one DOTZH one in fantasy
drafts next season because you look at this year, he
has more games with over thirty five Fantasy points that
he does less than fifteen, Super explosive, heavily utilized in
the passing game. No one scores more touchdowns than Jamiir Gibbs.
And for these two are forever gonna be tied. It's

(02:37):
gonna come down to Jamior Gibbs and Bijon Robinson.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Next year for the one dot one.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
And I know Tyler els year is a free agent,
but the Lions offense and the touchdown opportunities, I'm gonna
push my chips in and say Gibbs is the.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
One dot oh one next Well, I'm gonna be the
DeBie downer of this portion of the show because George Pickens,
as Ranks sort of alluded to, did not have a
great night And for some of you out there who
are struggling for a playoff spot, he certainly put a
dent and maybe potentially killed your playoff chances. Picked a
bad time to have one of his worst games of
this season. First game he's had with single digit Fantasy

(03:10):
points since way back in Week one, just eight point
seven from Pickens. The other part of this, though, is
the outlook doesn't necessarily look great, at least on paper
for Pickens. The next two weeks, He's got the Vikings
and the Chargers, two of the worst matchups for fantasy
wide receivers. Certainly, look, you're gonna start George Pickens because
he's been really good for you, but at least on paper,

(03:31):
it doesn't look particularly great. However, one thing that did
work out last night, Florio Ryan Flinoy stepped in and
had a really big game after Ceedee Lamb left with
a concussion. So if you are a fantasy manager, maybe
if you have CD Lamb or you need wide receiver help,
how big of a priority. Is flanoy going to the
next week. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I tried to tell him the commissioner.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
I meant to start him and not George Pickens last night,
but he wasn't having it. No, I think he is
a waiver priority if we get word by next Wednesday
or Tuesday that Ceedee Lamb is still in concussion protocol
and up in the air.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I do think though he is very CD dependent.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
I'm not trusting him if CD's out there in the
fantasy playoffs, because there's Ferguson, there's Pickens, There's Lamb. There's
just too many target outfit shares there for a fourth
option to really be fantasy relevant. But the spin here
is for Dynasty he is a sneaky ad or trade
candidate now because George Pickens is a free agent and

(04:28):
the Cowboys have a lot of needs.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Not sure where they're going to allocate their money.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
But never count out Jerry Jones making a splash. So
that is the format that I'm a little bit more
interested in him in.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
All Right, So there you go. If you're a Dynasty manager,
maybe start throwing those trade offers out there. See what
it'll take to get frenoy On the roster. Meantime, send
our attention to a couple of teams who late pretty
well over Thanksgiving weekend.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
I just realize, I'm just thankful for everybody, bro Like, truthfully,
I'm thankful. I'm thankful being his position. I'm thankful that
the organization believed in me and brought me here and
I could do this special thing with you guys. So
let's just keep doing these special things. I'm here with y'all. Man,
I know I'm one hundred percent every time for ya.
So just know that.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Forgot.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
I can't wait for the Packers win. Like what was
like they look so dour, Like they look so sad.
The Bears are up there getting all fired up. The
funniest part about that whole thing with Ben Johnson, a
lot of the players didn't understand what was going on
with the Wiener Circle, now obviously one of the most
iconic hot dog It's not a change, it's a single entity.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Mate.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
There's a there's a Twitter account from a Bear's janitor
that challenge them like, hey, Ben Johnson takes his shirt
off in the locker room, can we get free hot dogs?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
And they're like sure.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
So a lot of the players Tyson Bagent talked about
it this week like we didn't understand what he was doing,
but then we were like, oh, that's kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
We get free hot dogs, now, that's very cool. I
also look forward to Glenn Powell playing Ben Johnson in
the movie about the twenty twenty five Bears. That'll be fun.
After that game, though, between Green Bay and Chicago rant
from a fantasy standpoint, what are you looking at it?

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Well, I think you're going to be able to play
both running backs in this situation. Now, obviously I can't
guarantee they'll get one hundred and twenty rushing yards, but
I'm not going to guarantee that they won't. One of
the big things that we've seen over the last couple
of weeks is how they're really scheming up. The Bears
went out there and destroyed one of the most physical
defensive lines in the NFL. They really pushed around that

(06:41):
front seven of the Philadelphia Eagles. Now they've got to
match up against the Packers team that has some injuries
on the defensive line. They traded away Kenny Clark to
get Micah Parsons, so there's really going to be an
opportunity for them to go out there really impressed with
them running a lot of thirteen personnel. Colston Lovelin has
looked like a great blocking back or great blocking tight
end as well. I think we're going to see a

(07:02):
lot of the run game from the Chicago Bears, especially
in those cold temperatures.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yeah, and on the other side, I think Jordan Love
is a must start in this one because the Bears
blitz and play man coverage at an above average rate,
and Love is by far first.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
In EPA against man coverage.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
He is first in EPA against the blitz, top two
in passing touchdowns against each of those as well. And
it doesn't hurt that the Bears have allowed the fourth
most touchdown passes, which also bodes very well for Jordan Love.
But Ray, if the Bears go into Green Bay and
win this weekend on Monday, can we get a Ben
Johnson type celebration out of you on Fantasy Live.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I do it all the time. You should watch the show.
I do it everyding.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I want full shirt off, like given free hot dogs away.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
You know, the thing of it is is it's funny
watching it because now when you walk around, like if
you see any of the social media accounts in Chicago.
It's random dudes in the city running around filming stock
with their shirts off. Like it's really caused a ripple
effect out there in Chicago. So we'll see what happens,
because I'll be a problem with the Bears win this game.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
I'm gonna be aware pacernation of what happens if the
Bears win. This week. Another rivalry match up, this one
in the AFC North between the Steelers and the Ravens
and Florida. What are you looking at for this one?

Speaker 3 (08:24):
I'm not expecting as many points in this one as
in the other divisional rivalry games, so I'm gonna say
you could sit DK Metcalf against the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
In this one. Look.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
DK has single digit Fantasy points in five of his
last seven games, and since Week seven. In that span,
he is averaging six targets per game. He is one
deep catch and not really scoring many touchdowns. So if
you can't rely on catches, you can't rely on big
plays or touchdowns, you simply cannot rely on DK, especially

(08:56):
against the Ravens, who have been extremely tough on limitter
receivers this season and as of late, all of us
off this was a weird fit when they made this move,
and that is exactly how it has played out this
season for DK and the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Well, it's been hard on the other side to count
on a lot of the Ravens past catchers on a
week to week basis, But I do think Isaiah likely
has some sleeper vibes this week. He has been up
and down like pretty much everybody else in this offense,
but he's got a really good matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They've been a top six matchup for tight ends this season,
second most yards after the catch allowed to the position.

(09:31):
So look, I know he's splitting those opportunities a tight
end with Mark Andrews, but he is the more athletic
of the two. Lamar Jackson can get him out in
space and just let him work. I think he can
put up a pretty decent number this week against Pittsburgh.
We'll stick with at least one of the two teams
in the AFC North that you're taking that as the
Cincinnati Bengals, I should say, taking on the Buffalo Bills
in this one and Ring it feels like this is

(09:53):
a chance for you to stack a humble bregg maybe
a bunch of Marshes. Yeah, a bunch of marche You
know I could do that.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
I don't want now you give me the HP if
you still have it. I don't know if the Friday Show,
I don't know if we have the Humble Brags available.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
I'm gonna go with Jamar Chase though, in this one.
And it's funny because we think about this all the time,
about like, hey, should we talk about guys who are
so obvious? I just did a cameo for somebody the
other day who was asking, like, hey, do we she
was she was like, hey, do we get points when
our guys score a touchdown? Like, okay, this is why
we do the job that we do to make sure, Yes,

(10:25):
we do get points for touchdowns, but we do get
points for the fact that Jamar Chase has been excellent
this season, one hundred and thirty one targets on the year.
He's averaging close to twelve targets per game. And now
that Joe Burrow is back, it's been fun watching guys
like Joe Flacco and the other guy go out there
and play quarterback. But once once Joe Burrow came back,
it's taking it to another level. So yes, we're starting

(10:46):
Jamar Chase Michael Well, we are also a Mark starting. Yeah,
whatever one of us, we'll also starting it.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Bills tied in now Dalton Chincaide right now is questionable
for Sunday's games. To keep an eye on him. If
he starts, you're playing him. If he does not play,
then it's gonna be Dawson Knox who you should put
into your lineups. Because it doesn't matter which tight end
it is. The Bengals are bad against all of them,
most fantasy points per game, five points more per week

(11:12):
than the number two team. They have given up thirteen
touchdowns to tight ends. The next closest team has allowed eight.
They've allowed a top twelve tight end in eight straight games.
I mentioned these Steelers have given up these second most
yards after the catch to tight ends. Well, the Bengals
have given up the most yards after the catch to
the position. So if a Bills tight end is playing,
then you are playing that. Maybe even Jackson Hawes, I

(11:33):
don't know, Maybe you just throw him in a lineup
if you're playing DFS or something like that. We stick
with the theme of division rivals this one. The Colts
heading down to Jacksonville to take all the Jaguars. Greg
Rosenthal actually put out a really interesting stat the last
time the Colts won in Jacksonville. Trent Richardson was, you know,
this is the leading rush out at that point. So

(11:54):
I'll tell you a little bit about how things are
going in that one. But more about this week though, Florio,
what situation Indianapolis you're not so sure about? Huh?

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Yeah, when the Colts were running away with the AFC.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
On the game day preview every Sunday, I was like,
I'm not buying it, and.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Everyone's calling me a hater. I was just early.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
But I'm sitting Daniel Jones this week as well. If
you read Stardom Sitdham, it has been a theme for
me all year. I sit Daniel Jones in matchups where
I think he is going to be under pressure.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
At a high rate.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
And since Week eight thereby the Jackson generated pressure at
forty percent of the time. They are doing a much
better job getting after the quarterback, and the fractured fibula
for Daniel Jones only makes that high pressure rate even
more concerning. He has been held to under seventeen Fantasy
points in four straight games. I know this isn't the

(12:44):
best week of quarterback play options, but I do think
there's a handful of options.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
You could think. Just get away from Daniel Jones this week,
is what I'm trying to say.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Now, I would get away from Daniel Jones as well,
And if you have an opportunity, I would start Trevor
Lawrence over him. He's had at least seventeen fantasy points
in six of his last eight games. He has been
the quarterback nine since Week five, two touchdown passes in
six of seven career games against the Indianapolis Colts, and
as you alluded to a moment ago, Marcus, is that
they've done really well against the Colts historically in Jacksonville.

(13:16):
So I know a lot of people are apprehensive to
start Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
I understand. I get it. Listen, I watch football. I understand.
I am going with Trevor Lawrence in this week. Floats it.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
The coup is the target. Poka a cool.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
This is textbook as far as the technique that you
would teach the corner. But you can't teach that. Unreal,
not gonna see here, Just pooka akupa doing pookin Akupa
things last week against the Carolina Panthers. This week, Pooka
and the Rams had down to the desert to take
on the Arizona Cardinals. The rank you have your eye also,

(13:54):
Buddy in the backfield for this one. Yeah, it's gonna
be Blake Corum. For so long.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
I had been one of the biggest Kai and Williams marks,
just not believing it last year when the Rams drafted
Blake Corum out of Michigan and I resisted it. But
you know it's become inevitable over the last couple of weeks.
As you see right there, the totals on the board
are correct. He's been having a bigger role in this offense.
Is it partly because Karen Williams fumble a little bit?
He's been battling, he's been nicked up a little bit. Sure,

(14:22):
there's a lot of circumstances. Obviously the Rams are playing
for playoff positioning looking long term as well, which means
more opportunity for Blake Corum. And this week against the Cardinals,
I do think that he has some standalone value, especially
in a week where guys like Christian McCaffrey and ric
O'Donnell will not be playing.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, and on the.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Other side, Marvin Harrison Junior may not be playing this week,
but I still think Jacoby Brissett is in play for
fantasy managers.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Since he has taken over. He is averaging just under
twenty one Fantasy points per game.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
With at least eighteen in each game, multiple passing touchdowns
in all but one and the Rams. Yes, they are
a tough matchup on paper, but the Cardinals are very
likely going to be chasing points and the best per
set is catch up mode Jacoby Brisset. And on top
of that, it's not just a one week thing. Kyler
has ruled out for the year, so Jacoby could be

(15:15):
the starter the rest of the way, including Championship Week
where he gets the Cincinnati Bengals.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
There you go, you got Jacoby. You canset it and
forget it, and just to light it in your lineup
for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, as we continue
talking about the Arizona Cardinals, that gets us to our
next Gen Nugget researcher Kendall Mursky aka next Gen Kin
And you're looking at the Arizona Cardinals, but you were
looking at the running back situation what did you get
on that?

Speaker 6 (15:41):
Yeah, I wanted to focus on them because they have
a tough matchup against this Rams defense. They've allowed the
fourth fewest fantasy points per game to the running back
position this season, and even diving deeper into the matchup,
it just doesn't look good for this backfield. The Cardinals
run outside the tackles with their running backs at the
fifth highest rate in the NFL, and as you can

(16:01):
see here, they haven't had much success with this type
of run. And on the other side, the Rams have
been pretty good at defending these outside rushes all season.
On top of this, you just heard Florio say the
Cardinals have been passing it all around the field this year,
especially since Week six. They have the second highest called
pass rate in the NFL since Brissett's first start. So

(16:23):
not only do they pass the ball a lot, but
when they run it, it's frequently on an outside rush,
and as I just said, it hasn't been too efficient.
And then on top of all of this, it's been
a three headed backfield, especially since James Connor and Trey
Benson have gone down. Benson not looking like he's returning
this week, So I don't like that we're just playing
guests on who's going to have the hot hand each week,

(16:45):
So I would preferably stay away from all three, but
I understand not everyone has that choice. So if it's me,
I would prefer the pass catchers of the group, de
Mercado and Carter. Because the Rams have allowed at least
forty receiving yards to three different running backs in their
last four games.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Wow, good stuff there. Kindle lost and keep an eye
on those Cardinals running backs. Maybe just avoid them all together.
In the meantime, speaking of running backs, can I interest
you a nice chilled glass of charbon a.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Hand off to Charmoney on the left side to tight
end b line up very quick to tackle ten touchdown Seahawks.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
And Sharbona the eight Russian touchdown of the season.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Keeping our game previews rolling, we head down to the
atl Bird fight between the Seahawks and the Falcons and
Sam Clemente pancakes for all of Denny's right, you.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Know what, and everybody's getting off of starting him and
everything like that, and I understand it. The Seahawks are
still winning, he's still playing efficiently. I think this is
where the fantasy production meets the wins and I will
be starting Sam Garnold on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Obviously,
this team's been running really well. We've also seen the

(17:59):
defense step up and create some turnovers and takeaways, and
there really hasn't been much of an opportunity for Sam
to go out there and pad the statistics. But with
what happened last week with JSN, I think this is
a real, real good opportunity to recalibrate here, go out there,
take advantage of this Falcons defense, a Falcons defense a
couple of weeks ago that was absolutely abused by Bryce Young.

(18:20):
So I'm going to be starting Sam Darnold in a
lot of spots this week.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
I'm going to be starting Kyle Pitts in a lot
of spots this week, And that doesn't matter for me
whether or not Drake London is playing, because the matchup
is going to be really good. Seattle's defense has been
very good this year, but tight end has been a
blind spot for them six most yards allowed one to
slot pass catchers, but also giving up sixteen and a
half Fantasy points per game to the tight end position.

(18:44):
So either way you slice it. With Pitts working a
lot out of the slot. Working from the tight end position,
there's gonna be plenty of opportunity for him to get
some looks. Kirk Cousins needing a consistent, sort of safe
option there. I think you're going to see Pitts get
a lot of targets and should be in a lot
of lineups and really has chance for a big number
this week coming up against the Seattle Seahawks. Keeping the
theme going for this week of big division rivalry games

(19:07):
that inver Broncos heading to Las Vegas to take on
the Raiders. And a guy that you should be sliding
into lineups right now is Troy Franklin. And you know,
we started this year sort of wondering what Franklin is
going to give us after a tough rookie season, but
instead he's actually put things together very very well. I
know it's been volid a week to week, but he
leads to the team in targets, receptions and receiving touchdowns.

(19:28):
He's moved all around the formation a little more than
half of his snaps out wide, and that's where he's
been the most productive this season. Sixty percent of his
yards and three of his five touchdowns have come lined
up out wide and going against that Raider defense giving
up these seventh most receiving yards to wide out so
far this season. So Troy Franklin very quietly has made
him his way. It's gotta being a nice wide receiver

(19:49):
two option for a lot of fantasy folks.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Yeah, Courtland Sutton managers don't love that, but everyone else does.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Though, Assid Gensy to me is a start in this one.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Oh, he's a start in most weeks, but he does
have a tough matchup, so some fantasy managers might be
a little scared off.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
He did score a touchdown and go for.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Fifteen fantasy points in his previous matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
But even more than.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
That, what I love for genty is he is eight
targets in each of his last three games.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
It has led to an easy six to eight PPR.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Points right there, before you factor in any yards, touchdowns,
any of that.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
In fact, in the last three weeks, he leads all
running backs and catches more than Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
So yeah, that right there keeps him in play because
it raises the floor and the ceiling.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Plus he's always a threat to score.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
A touchdown even though it might be the only touchdown
the Raiders score that game.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
All right, So Ashton gency I play surprisingly against the
Denver Broncos. Coming up, We've got a super matchup on
Sunday night between the Texans and the Chiefs. CJ. Stroud,
Pat Mahomes likely in your lineup, but who else you

(21:30):
for some news headlines and if you know, you know,
and we will start in Baltimore, where Lamar Jackson was
back on the practice field this morning after missing Thursday session.
Ravens quarterback has been nursing an ankle injury throughout the week,
but good news, Jackson appears to be set to take
off this Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers in our Nation's Capitol.
Commander's head coach dan Quinn has confirmed that Jaden Daniels

(21:53):
will indeed be back in the saddle this weekend as
Washington's starting quarterback on Sunday. Daniels, who suffered a dislocated
left and week nine against the Seahawks, had been averaging
right about ten points per Fantasy Game four managers before
the injury. So right, taking a look at Jayden Daniels,
the guy that a lot of folks have been waiting
on for a little bit tough matchup on paper against
the Vikings, would you immediately slot him in a lineup

(22:15):
now that he's back.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
You know, I know a lot of us went out
there and made other arrangement arrangements. We've been starting other quarterbacks,
But for me, I'm still going to go with Jayde
Daniels in most spots. And I was sitting here looking
at some of the quarterbacks that I would start out, Obviously,
Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Joe.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
Burrow, Lamar Jameson. I don't know the biggest one.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
I think a lot of us, and I think a
lot because I know I have this in my league
of record, I have Jayde Daniels in Jacoby Brissette right now.
If you're watching this on Friday afternoon, I'm going with
Jayden Daniels. If you're watching the re air on Saturday night,
I might have changed my mind and I would be
able to reserve the right to do that. But I
think that he's just been so effective. Again these quarterbacks.

(22:55):
We always say like he's not going to run as much.
We saw Jackson Dart still Tucket and run four times
the other night. I think that Jade Daniels is gonna
end up doing the same thing.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
I would like jee Jackson Dart to go to spring
training with the Yankees or Mets and learn to slide
a little bit or something got of bounce. Not the Mets,
but at least the yank at least the Yankees, maybe
with the wing organization. Let's move on to the Texans
and Jeeter Broke. We can go overfuffle about Mets and Angels.
I'm looking at this matchup and I think Jayden Higgins

(23:25):
is a nice option, nice sleeper option, nice starter option,
whatever you want to call it. For this week against
the Kansas City Chiefs. He had a big boost the
last couple of weeks twenty four percent target share between
weeks twelve and thirteen, has a quarter of Houston's end
zone targets this season, and the Chiefs the last few
weeks have been pretty wide receiver friendly, a top three
matchup for wideouts over the last month or so, and

(23:47):
it hasn't really mattered if it's been Davis Mills, it's
been CJ. Stroud. We have seen Jayden Higgins get into
the mix there and could be a nice kind of
flex option for a lot of folks.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Yeah, and on the other side, I think you should
be trying to get away from Kareem Hunt and this one.
Isaiah Pacheco returned last week. He didn't see a ton
of volume, but with the being his second game back,
there's always a risk that he could take more work
away and that is problematic for Kareem Hunt because he
is extremely volume dependent. It took him thirty touches to

(24:15):
get to one hundred yards a couple of weeks ago.
And on top of that, the Texans have allowed the
fourth fewest rushing yards two running backs this season. You
can't rely on pass game usage for Kareem Hunt. There
you're banking on a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
If you started, and with that one, the floor is
single digit fantasy points.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
It's been tough for chase running backs in general.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Time.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Now for Seas the Season presented by Caesars Sports Book,
and here's a look at the first touchdown odds in
that game between the Texans and the Chiefs. He or
she Rice at the top of the list, followed by
Kareem Hunt and Woody Marks, Nico Collins not too far behind,
and Travis Kelcey rounding out the top five. So Florio
of that group or maybe somebody not on this list,

(24:55):
who do you like the most?

Speaker 2 (24:57):
It's for she Rice all the way.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Since he he has returned in week seven, he is
seventeen red zone targets.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
No one on the Chiefs has more than four.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Uh. He also has five red zone carries in that span.
And Andy Reid this week said the Chiefs are going
to quote tickle your tonsils on every play. I'm not
sure what that means. I can only mean think it
means it's they're going to get creative. And if they're
going to get creative with their play calling, Rashi Rice
is the player that they are going to features. So yeah,

(25:28):
I think he finds the end zone in a must
win game for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
New users can bet one dollar to boost their next
twenty bets by one hundred percent. Must be twenty one
or older. See Caesars dot com slash promos for full terms.
Ario to throw it a fate route? Oh my gosh,
what catch?

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Tuck down?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Duck down again?

Speaker 3 (25:50):
Rail?

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Are you serious? Tray Burt to go up with the
one like that?

Speaker 2 (26:04):
That was filthy. That was the most disgusting thing.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
Welcome back to the NFL Fantasy Live. Last season, the
postseason included two teams, the Vikings and Commanders, who might
not make it this year. I don't know if they've
been mathematically eliminated or not. But Michael Scary Terry, are
we starting him or sitting him this week?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
I think you played Scary Terry.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
He returned last week and he had fourteen targets with
for nearly one hundred yards and scored a touchdown at
Jayden Daniels. Being back, in my opinion, is a boost
for Terry and all of the Commanders pass catchers there
and all of those targets should lead to Fantasy points
this week because the Vikings have allowed the fourth most

(26:48):
yards per target to receivers since Week seven. I know
it might be the holiday season, but it is always
scary terry season in Washington.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
That was tough watching all those points on the fantasy
bench last week.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
We'll make that mistake again.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
And when it comes to the Vikings running backs, we're
gonna have to wait and see what happens with Aaron Jones.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
He has been battling an injury.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
He is officially questionable for this upcoming matchup against the Commanders,
and if he's available in playing on Sunday, I would
suggest you go out there and start him. But if
he is not a go, that means a huge opportunity
for Jordan Mason, who has been great whenever he has
been the solo back in this offense. But still is
going to be a decision that comes down to Sunday morning.

(27:29):
All right, let's move on to the next game. Titans Browns, and.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
They're giving us.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
They're giving us all the great games here to talk
about here in the D block. But I'm going to
talk about this Browns defense, which has been one of
the best in the NFL. It's unfortunately they have not
had the offense to match it. But they've had at
least sixteen fantasy points and two out of their last
three games. They're going up against the Tennessee Titans, who've
allowed the second most fantasy points per game to DSTs

(27:55):
this season, behind just the aforementioned Minnesota Vikings. So the Browns,
if they're still available in your league, are a great start.
But what does that mean for some of the offensive
players for the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Michael I would be looking to get away from some
of them, especially Tony Pollard. I know you don't start
him every week, but with four teams on buy some injuries,
maybe you were thinking, oh, I could plug Tony Pollard in.
But Tajy Spears has really eaten into Pollard's opportunities. In fact,
he has not seen twelve carries in a game since
Week five. He is being less and less involved in

(28:28):
the passing game. And then rank to your point, this
is just a terrible matchup. The Browns have allowed three
point seven yards per carry to running backs.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
That is the third lowest in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
So even with all these buys, I would not get
cute and play Tony Pollard.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Jets Dolphins to continue a theme right here, last season,
John new Smith was one of the breakouts at tight end.
Is there a tight end from the Miami Dolphins that
you can play this week?

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Yes, Darren Waller I think is very much so in
play this week against the Jets.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
He returned last week the Dolphins in receiving yards.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yeah, it was only forty seven, but he still led
him and he just missed a touchdown, and that is
the key here. He is the clear top red and
end zone for the Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
And the Jets.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Great matchup for that because they've allowed the third most
touchdowns two tight ends this season. They got cooked by
Kyle Pitts last week, and Waller has a favorable playoff schedule,
so he's not just a one week streamer.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
No, I love it.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
I didn't love his music career, but love what he's
been able to do so far from the Miami Dolphins.
Let's talk about Ada and I Mitchell, who has had
the second most air yards in the NFL since Week eleven.
I know a lot of people are apprehensive another player
who I mistakenly left on my bench last week, but
looked pretty good, and with Tyrod Taylor targeting him a lot,

(29:45):
I do believe that he's a pretty viable play this week,
especially with a couple of good, big name receivers on
the bench this week playoff schedule, maybe not, but this
week as we make our playoff push, it could be
a d Mitchell as a starter for you. Now, finally
we got a playoff team. We got a playoff team.
Let's talk about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they're going

(30:06):
up against the New Orleans Saints. Last week, I actually
was on board with starting Bucky Irving, and I'm gonna
be on board once again starting him in this matchup.
He has had at least thirteen Fantasy points in each
of the five games he has played this season, eighteen touches.
I know a lot of people are apprehensive because, like,
what is he gonna do when he comes back in Mike,
I don't know, play that's what he's gonna do. The

(30:27):
Saints have allowed the seventh most rushing yards to running
backs since Week seven, so that's gonna.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Be a pretty good opportunity.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Typically we would sit here and talk about Alvin Kamara,
But Michael, you have another running back you should.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Go with here this week who could be a sleeper. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
I think Devin Neal is a sleeper for the Saints.
He has shown when Alvin Kamara is not out there,
he will see enough volume to have a safe floor,
particularly because what he does as a pass catcher out
of the backfield. He's not Alvin Kamara, but he's still
going to get those targets. And the Bucks have allowed
the most receiving yards this season two running backs. That's

(31:04):
something they have struggled with as of late as well.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
So if the.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Saints are in ketchup mode, which feels kind of likely here,
I think Neil will see enough targets to have a
safe floor and maybe even some upside in this one.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
Well, I'm glad we got an opportunity to talk about
at least one playoff team. And here are the message
about the upcoming playoffs in fantasy football. It's Marcus Grant
with a minute with Marcus.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Thank you, Adam. That's right. We've made it to the
end of the fantasy regular season. Monday Night Football's last
call for the fantasy playoffs. Closing time. You won't have
to go home. You can't stay on the waiver wire.
Do you know which flex you want to take you home?
Maybe it's Camanie Vidal going against an Eagles run defense

(31:48):
that gave him nearly three hundred rushing yards last week.
As now without Jalen Carter, could it be DeVonta Smith
against that zone happy Chargers pass defense. I mean, after all,
Smith is among the top ten wide receivers when it
comes to receiving yards against zone coverage. Maybe Cameron Dicker
is your entry into the playoffs. Heading into Week fourteen,

(32:11):
the Chargers had attempted the fifth most field goals in
the NFL. By the way, good on you for keeping
kickers in your league. So who is this year's Taije
Spears who came up with a clutch seventeen points in
Week fourteen of twenty twenty three against the Miami Dolphins,
Or Van Jefferson who came off your bench and gave
you fifteen for the Rams in twenty twenty one. Look,

(32:33):
this is the last guaranteed week for you to be
setting lineups in your fantasy season, the last guaranteed chance
to cement your year. So may your sleepers wake up,
may your busts remain on the bench, and remember magic
happens on Monday night. This has been another Minute with
Marcus Sunday at nine am Eastern getting ready for kickoff

(32:55):
with Rich Eisen and the crew. Kyle Brandt sits down
with Caleb Williams ahead of the big divisional matchup against
the Packers, plus a live interview with Bengals head coach
Zach Taylors. He gears up to face the Buffalo Bills.
All that and more Sunday at nine am Eastern Ton.
Now lock it up as we take it to the
Ranks without him rank. All right, thank you so much, Marcus.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
Last time we were on the show doing this segment
four for four, a perfect week, so much so that
they wouldn't let us do it last week before Thanksgiving.
But we are back for taking to the Rank and
he's open on a Friday, and we all start with
the Baltimore Ravens against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the other rivalry
game of the weekend. And we're going to be looking
at Lamar Jackson, who for the most part, has been

(33:37):
pretty disappointing from the terms of fantasy football so far
this season. But there is still an opportunity in this
game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now here's one thing that
we love about Lamar Jackson. He has been known for
some explosive runs out there on the field. He's also
rushed for a lot of yards as well. Here's the thing,
with everything that's been going on with him, with the

(33:57):
injuries and all that stuff, I believe that he is
going to be ready to run the football. He practiced
in full on Wednesday, took the day off on Thursday,
came back and practice on Friday.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
So this week I.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
Say that he rushes for more than twenty four and
a half yards and Chucky Bee.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
You could take it to the rank right, it's.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
Not gonna get there, Jeff, watch yourself. All right, let's
go with the Atlanta Falcons. What is the deal with
the Atlanta fan? The Falcons are just here, They're dirt here.
But one of the best investments he could have made
in fantasy football this season was taken by Jean Robinson,
who has been everything that we've expected him to be.
Although it would be nice if the Falcons would use him,
I don't know near the goal line, although we've seen

(34:37):
that the last couple of weeks. They did give him
some opportunities in the last game that has been nice.
But where he's really started to make an impression as
as a receiver.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Out of the backfield. He has gone out there.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
He has had at least thirty five receiving yards in
four of his last five games.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
And it surprises me because this week he's going up
against the.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
Seattle Seahawks, who've allowed the fourth most receiving yards to
running backs this and so for me, I'm going to
look at this and say that he has more than
thirty one receiving yards this week and chuck it Bee,
take it to the right.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
That was all right, let's go to Las Vegas.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
Oh, whenever you've got some investment opportunities, why not go
to Las Vegas.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Nothing bad has ever happened there. But here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
The Denver Broncos had struggled against the Raiders for a
long time, but over the last I don't know, eighteen months,
they've really done a great job of going up against
this team. And one of the guys that we've really
loved this season coming into the year was RJ.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Harvey. A little slow.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
I know a lot of you invested early in him
and were like, we're not seeing any.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Returns, but we're starting to see it right now.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
He's had at least ten rushing attempts. In his last
two games, he has become a bigger factor. We saw
it on Sunday night against the Washington Commanders. He went
out there and had a great game. Now he's got
a great matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who've allowed
the third most rushing touchdowns for the position this season.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
So I'm going to say that r J.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
Harvey has more than forty two rushing yards this week
and chuck it Bee.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
Take it to the rank. Oh hey, we got Jeff twice.
All right, welcome to the show.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
Finally, this is where we've really been cooking. Predicting touchdowns
has been a specialty of ours. And to do that,
we're gonna go to the home of the Randy Savage
International Airport and I'm talking about our friends down in
Duoball County this and every time we do the hype training,
we do anything, it's always gonna be Duvall. But even

(36:29):
though they made a switch at the quarter at the
coaching position this year, Liam Cohne is coming and continued
to feature the tight end. We saw it last year
when he was in Tampa Bay featured Kate Otten heavily
this year, even with Evan Ingram going on to Denver.
Brent Strange has been a guy who has really stepped
up for the Jacksonville Jaguars when he's been available to them.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
He has been an absolute stud.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
So much like we love ae W, we love Brenton
strains this week against the Colts, who've allowed the fourthmost
receiving touchdowns to.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
The position thisy.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
I'm getting for klept just even thinking about this. But
Brenton Strange, we'll find the end zone while he's carrying
the ball in the field of play. So I say,
Brenton Strange scored a touchdown at some point and Chucky
be taken to the rank, and there it is now
while it's coming back.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Oh it's a boomerang.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
Hey, you know what, talking about investments, I wish we
could invest in a camera that could shoot that way
because you're missing half the show. But in any event,
that was taken in the rank for a week fourteen,
good luck. And that's all I got.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
All right, Well, we got a little bit more as
we get to go with the flow. First, take a
look at some guys who had some good week thirteens.
Maybe not always top of their position, but some good
weeks is Dontavian Wickstevon Vele, Devin Singletary Kalamanungi. Maybe guys,
you weren't expecting huge performances from but that does get
us to this week and our Shirpa of the Sleepers,

(37:52):
the one and only Michael Florio Flow. What do you
got for us here in Week fourteen?

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Look, we all love fantasy football, all right, man, We're
not ready for the season to end, and some of
you are out there fighting for your playoff lives. This week,
why not go with the guy who has ended the
longest playoffs kid in recent NFL history, the drought Ender,
he of the most successful rain dance since Ted Moseby.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Ty Rod Taylor.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
This week, Tyrod gets the Dolphins, and we all know
Tyrod runs.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
It gives him such a safe floor in fantasy.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
But did you know that the Dolphins have allowed the
third most rushing yards to quarterbacks this year. They've also
allowed these seventh most fantasy points per game to the position.
So in Jersey, I think ty God is going to
look to the sky, do his dance and rain fantasy
points for all of your lineups out.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
There that you need to stream.

Speaker 7 (38:55):
Get it stream, which is why this week I think
you could plug him in and just go with the flow,
and then all that rain from the drought ender typically
leads to some fun guy, right, But this week, how
about Kyle Munnum guy who has been totally.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Far out as of late, man averaging over fourteen Fantasy
points per game in the last five weeks. The Packers,
I know they were once a bummer matchup for running backs,
but that hasn't been the case as of late. It's
been much groovyer. In fact, top five in rushing yards
and yards before contact allowed since week nine.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Love might be on the Packer's side because he's their quarterback,
get it.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
But when it comes to Kyle Munung guy, you could
flex him this week and just go with the flow.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Go with the flow. Thank you so much. I feel
so much more zen as I get ready to set
my lineups in Week fourteen. Coming up, we got the
Bears and Packers rivalry and a little bit of counterpoint.
It's the Bears still suck versus No, they don't find
out which side wins when we come back. ESPN's Fun

(40:18):
Day Football is back with Monsters Inc. Mike and Sully
will duke it out on the Monstropolis cheer floor as
part of a real time animated Monday night football game.
Catch Monsters Funday Football Live Monday, December eighth on ESPN two,
Disney Plus, Disney Channel, Disney XD, and the ESPN app.
We are also setting our sights on Monday's We Give

(40:39):
you Monday's Fantasy Headlines today, letting you know what everybody's
gonna be talking about once the weekend is over. And
for me, I'm gonna let you know that we're gonna
have a KC Masterpiece barbecue of the Texans. The Chiefs
playing for their playoff lives. They seem to come out
strong when their backs are against the wall. I expect
Patrick Mahomes and that offense to be humming and looking
pretty good. Meanwhile, the big one in Green Bay between

(41:01):
the Bears and the Packers, Floria, what is your headline
for this week?

Speaker 3 (41:06):
Love conquers All, including Bears, Because I.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
Think Jordan Love is gonna go off this week.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
And when me and Rank were tusslin, I almost broke
my mic here, so I'm happy you guys can still
hear me right now.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
Actually, the headline is gonna be no Love in Green
Bay is the Bears win big, beating the bleep and
bleep and bleep.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Out of the bleeping Packers.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Like listen, I know that the Packers have had a
fun time over the last generation or two, not winning
Super Bowls, but enjoying some mild superiority. But Caleb Williams
has never lost the game at Lambeau Field, So I
think that that streak continues. Just playing the percentages, just
playing the trends. The Bears get their second win in

(41:49):
Lambeau in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Well, if they're gonna do it, they're gonna do without
Romo Dunesa. He has been ruled out this Sunday against
Green Bay because of a foot injury. Also, some news
out of Cincinnati, good news for the Bengals. T Higgins
says he has cleared concussion protocol in is full go
against the Buffalo Bills. So as we get ready to
wrap things uptime, for a little bit of power to

(42:10):
the people, we ask for your questions on social media
website dot com and you oblige. So, Floria boys, I
need some help. Who should I sit genty Judkins or RJ?

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Harvey? Ooh, I would.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
Actually sit genty of those three I have the other
two his starts.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
All right, rank this one for you, Pitts or Waller
one point PPR. I'm gonna go at Kyle Pitts. Yeah,
I think so as well. One last one? Should I
start Lamar or Sam Darnold? Ooh, this makes me nervous.
I'm gonna say Lamar, though I still think the ceiling
is high than That'll do it for this week's vision
of NFL Fantasy Live, sticking around back with you on

(42:46):
Monday for the weekend fall out, getting ready for Monday
Night Football. See you then, everybody
