Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, it's a Monday Fantasy Live edition of the Fantasy
Football Podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I'm Patrick Clayband. I'll be joined by Adam Rank and
Cynthia Freeland. Today we'll break down the fantasy fallout of
some major injuries, including Patrick Mahomes tour an acl plus
an early look at the Week sixteen waiver wire, and
some big name wide receivers we're worried about heading into
this fantasy semifinals. All that and more as the NFL
Fantasy Football Podcast starts now. Haroy, Welcome to a Monday

(00:36):
edition of NFL Fantasy Live. Patrick Claibond here with Adam
Rank and Cynthia Freeland. We will get you set for
Finns and Steelers coming up. One more game in Week fifteen,
and fantasy postseasons are on the line. Right.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Oh, there's a lot of If you're going into this
game needing a huge performance from Devon a Chan, I
think you're in good chain.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Oh a little spoiler for later on in the show.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I mean, look, sometimes you play hurt or you can't
play injured or hurt.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
I'm just hurt.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
We're good.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
I'm still here though.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
We're good. Yeah, we're good. We still got Cynthia, Unfortunately
we do start with some rough injury news, So let's
get into that right off the top, in case you
missed it, major injury story not just on the weekend,
but the entire season and maybe next season. Patrick Mahomes
tore his ACL late and the Chiefs loss of the
Chargers yesterday, are crushing into a difficult season for Mahomes

(01:28):
and the Chiefs, who are also eliminated from playoff contention
in that loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. So, Cynthia,
we have nothing to play for, and with Gardner Minshew
under center, what do we do with our case pass catchers?

Speaker 4 (01:41):
We think about the opportunity against a particular defense, So
Gardner Minshew will have his chance to prove himself, maybe
earn some money here, and look to see, Okay, how
can I exploit There's two good matchups, the Tennessee Titans
and then of course the Raiders. Maybe we don't talk
about the you know, jedfer Broncos game, but if you
look at the opportunity against Tennessee, that's where you're going

(02:02):
to focus.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah, I'm curious to see this will actually be a
shift to the rushing attack because we haven't really gotten
a lot of production out of the running backs. I know,
guys like Kareem Hunt and Isaiah Piciceco have trended down
over the last couple of weeks. Really curious to see
what's going to happen here with this Chiefs offense. I
was watching it because I saw that immediately Travis Kelce
went and dapped up Gardner minshooting. You're like, okay, and

(02:24):
then first pass goes to him, You're like, all right,
maybe maybe they can cook, Maybe this is something that happened.
And then he tries to force win at Travis Kelce
in at least to an interception, and I think that's
what we're probably.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Going to be saying. Yeah, a difficult look around the
rest of the offense, where the most productive rusher on
the offense all season has been Patrick Mahomes and so
not the only unfortunate injury for a guy who's on
a path to Canada, Ohio, it's Michael Parsons as well
to his aco against the Denver Broncos. Awful news for
micah as well as the Green Bay Packers and fantasy terms.

(02:55):
Packers were rostered at about fifty percent of NFL dot
Com leagues. They faced the Bears, Ravens, and the Minnesota
Vikings over the final three weeks. All those offenses figure
to get a boost in our rankings going forward. Best
wishes to Patrick Mahomes as well as Michael Parsons. Now,
Parsons is not the only injury for Green Bay that
came on Sunday. Christian Watson left the game with a

(03:16):
shoulder slash chest to injury, as announced by the team,
went to a hospital to get checked out. Our sources
duteil NFL Network insider Ian Rappaport that Watson did not
suffer a major injury, so rank If he can't go
on we sixteen, who gets the biggest boost in the offense? Well,
the good news is.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
That it's nothing serious, and I would imagine though coming
into this week they're gonna be playing the Chicago Bears.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
I can't imagine he's not going to try to give
it a go.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
But there are some other guys in the offense that
could be available to you. I think Dontavian Wicks is
one of the ones who intrigues me the most because
I've seen a lot of upside from him. We've also
seen Matthew Golden their first pick in the draft, get
a little bit more opportunity here. He is right there
doing some nice things. He was a player that coming

(03:59):
into this was my number one wide receiver on the board,
so I would be curious to see if he could
step up. But certainly the Packers have had to deal
with this. They've been beset with a lot of injuries
this season, not only with Christian Watson but also with
Tucker Craft, so they've been having to battle through. Josh
Jacobs was able to play on Sunday, but yeah, this
Packers team is dealing with it right now.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yeah, another big time contender in the NFC had a
big injury on Sunday as well. Rams receiver Devonte Adams
reaggravated as hamstring injury was not able to finish the game.
Head coach Sean mcvas a postgame that Adams was optimistic
he would not rule him out for the big Thursday
night matchup in Seattle, but Cynthia seems likely LA is
not going to have their top touchdown score coming up

(04:41):
against the Seahawks. I just can see the.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Amount of pain he was in.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
But ultimately I'm looking at the emergence of Blake Korum
here as a way in those short yardage situations to
confuse defenses and get any end zones still, so DeVante Adams.
Of course you've got other pass catchers on his ow
off a second help. But it's really those short yard
situations where I'm most interested in. And now that you have,
you know, a really interesting explosive young back. It's not

(05:10):
one for one, but that could be one place where
the uptick in the red area for Blake Korum is
what you see.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Let's go elsewhere too. Of the Texans running back Woody
Marx hurt his ankle Sunday afternoon did not return, but
Amigo Ryan says that Marx could have returned if needed
that being set as backup, Jawar Jordan was great. And
what was his NFL debut on Sunday? Yes Jaar Jordan
had never actually played a down of NFL football before yesterday.

(05:36):
He forced seven miss tackles at running back. That's the
most mistackles that any Texans running back has forced all
season long, so one hundred and one yards on just
fifteen carries. Also had two catches as well in his
NFL debut. Perhaps Jamar Jordan too good to ignore for
the remainder of your fantasy football playoffs, regardless of Woody

(05:58):
Mark's status or not. As well as let's go over
to the Washington Commanders. They are deciding to shut down
Jade and Daniels for the rest of the twenty twenty
five season. His elbow injury needs some more time to recover.
Marcus Mariotto will continue to steer the ship for Washington
games coming up against the Eagles as well as the
Cowboys two division games for the Commanders on the way.

(06:18):
Some other Week fifteen injury related news, as Vam Knight
left the game for the Arizona Cardinals. Romo Dunese tried
to warm up get things going for that game against
the Browns, was not able to base show. Tooton will
miss a few weeks with the Jacksonville Jaguars as he
just had finger surgery and it's going to be more
Philip Rivers starting in relief of Daniel Jones Week sixteen

(06:39):
against the forty nine Ers and Ricky pearsall left the
game for those forty nine Ers after reaggravating a knee injury.
So now that that mostly bad injury news is out
of the way, let's get to the good stuff. Discuss
some Sunday studs in week fifteen, and right, let's go
down to Dulo.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Trevor Lawrence has been playing in an amazing clip and
it's been one of the kind of underreported stories so
far this year in the NFL. Liam Cohen going in
there and really doing such great work in his first
season as head.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Coach of the Jags.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
You know, we obviously been talking about Mike Rabel. Ben
Johnson gets a lot of notoriety, but Liam Cohen is
quietly put together a pretty good offensive season for Trevor Lawrence.
He had forty four plus Fantasy points on Sunday, first
player at the NFL history with five passing touchdowns, a
rushing touchdown, and fifty yards six total touchdowns is a

(07:35):
single game a franchise record. Trevor Lawrence is really gaming
on a roll, and this Jags team is looking pretty
formidable heading into a matchup with the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
I mean, they're formidable.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
They even got a defensive coordinator fired after that one.
But if you're looking at you got to permanently consider
the change to Duval. If this offense keeps rolling the
same way, it is because look at what Travis Htn
was able to do. I mean almost thirty feet fantasy points.
Who running back number one. Now, I'm looking at the targets,
I'm looking at the opportunity here, but it's really they

(08:07):
just care about him in the red area with baseel
Tooton out, I expect that to continue.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Let's go to the wide receiver one as of right now,
and that would be A'man Ross Saint Brown Ours had
eighteen targets to the tune of forty one fantasy points
two touchdowns. It was a second game north of thirty
nine points this season, tying the franchise record set by
Megatron himself. Big game for aman Rah. I'll be in

(08:33):
a loss against the Rams, and.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
At a tight end position, Trey McBride just continues to
be amazing. Thirteen targets, twelve receptions, one hundred thirty four yards,
two touchdowns, close to forty fantasy points. I've noticed a
trend in a lot of my fantasy leagues. The teams
run I have Trey McBride. I've done really well this season,
and I even played in a couple of those hipster
leagues where it's like tight end points are worth more,

(08:59):
where they're receiving touchdowns are worth eight, which last year
was a real chagrin because Kyler Murray was not getting
him the ball at the end zone. But now, of
course that is not something that has plagued Jacoby Brissett.
And for me, next year is going to be the
big question because we're going to start getting into that
situation again where a couple of years ago, where was like,
do do we take Travis kelcey because the gap between

(09:21):
Travis kelce and the next closest tight end is.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
So vast that it makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
I think Trey McBride is going to work himself into
that conversation, and I anticipate next year having a lot
of talks about whether he deserves to be a first
round pick or not.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
Oh I can't wait for those.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
I mean, Kyle Pitts, he did some things this week
just to kind of make us make sure he's there.
James Cook, if you were watching that first half like
me and I'm a James Cook owner, you were biting
your fingernails and not going to be very happier for like,
oh god, this is this terrible. But that's okay because
then the second half happened, and one hundred and seven yards,

(09:58):
two touchdowns on ground and one touchdown through the air. Later,
I am a happy camper, a happy proud James Cook owner.
I don't know exactly what happened with you England defense
in the second half, but maybe we'll talk a little
bit more about that later.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, absolute opposite of that. If you're a Patriots fan
and you watched only the first half against the Buffalo Bills,
well we got rough news for it, but hey, you
saw Treyvon Henderson go off. And he also made big
plays in the second half as well, including a fifty
yard touchdown run. He had over thirty fantasy points on
fourteen carries. He also threw a couple of receptions in there.

(10:33):
And if you include the two fifty yard touchdown runs
he had, which you should because they're all cut and
they count, he now has more fifty yard touchdown runs
than any player in Patriots history. He hasn't even been
a start of the whole season. That's the type of
explosiveness that Travon Henderson has.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Oh my goodness, let's talk about the explosiveness of the
Denver Broncos, who are the number one team in the
AFC right now. They secured a playoff spot with a
convincing win over the Green Bay Packers, and leading the
charge offensively was bow Knicks. Over three hundred passing yards
four passing touchdowns was simply amazing, the most passing touchdowns

(11:13):
allowed by a pack by the Packers defense since Week
fifteen of twenty twenty three. He was out there dialing
it up, throwing some absolute dots. His ability to escape
the rush, as we're seeing right here, also an underrated
part of his game. And it's one of those things Patrick,
you and I were talking about this before the show,
like this Denver Broncos team is good, and if this

(11:33):
is the bow Knicks that we're going to see week
in a week out, this is going to be a
very formidable team. And I'm already calling the Actually, the
Broncos were my super Bowl pick coming into the season.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
There it is, you know but whatever.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
I'm so mad that he didn't have three hundred and
three passing yards because that's the area code and that
would have been perfect. I love everything about it. There's
your humble brag rank for your Super Bowl pick. Love
everything about it. Listen, he had three hundred and thirteen
you're oh no, okay? Stack correction one hundred and thirty
four yards for Jamison william is not the area code
of Detroit and a touchdown. Obviously, the game script really

(12:11):
dictated tons and tons of deep throws and big opportunities
for the Lions, but maybe it also shows us a
little bit something about where to target the Rams secondary
as well. But Jameson Williams massive massive leak wide receiver
number three, Well, so why don't we.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Take an early look at the waiver wire for week sixteen?
Who would you be targeting? Right?

Speaker 3 (12:30):
You know, I'm gonna be looking at Colby Parkinson for
the La Rams. Obviously, Devanta Adams wants to go in
this game, and I get it. It's a it's a
huge matchup for the number one overall seed in winning
the NFC West, but still might have a better opportunity
to go somewhere else and guys like Colby Parkinson have
really stepped out.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Now.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Obviously he does play tight end, this is not I
know you can't start him at wide receiver, but again
for somebody who is looking for somebody if you don't
have Trey McBride or brock Bauers or somebody like that,
and even streaming tight ends, Colby Parkinson could see an
increase in production.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
The Rams have really been relying on him lately.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
In further proof at times of flat circle, it's going
to be Bill that I'm looking to pick up to
Cory Krofsky, Merritt, the injuries and Chris Rodriguez, and of
course a different change at quarterback you're gonna want to see. Okay,
So who's going to handle the lion's share of the
carries here? It's going to be Bill, And I think

(13:27):
the interesting part. Yes, Okay, So the schedule's tough. Philadelphia
they can be tough against the run, and Dallas has
been tougher against the run. But I still think the
volume is there, and this is an opportunity for the
rookie to really show. Okay, this is how I want
to be with this team going forward. This is how
I want to be a part of all the different
things that the Washington Commanders have going on for next season.
Prove it right now, buddy, Yes, so.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
We can get glimpses of earlier season Bill, then that's
what we want to look forward to for next week.
For next year. And I know, folks, if you had
the overall QB two and Patrick Mahomes and you managed
to advance, regardless, you need somebody to find at quarterback,
and not necessarily a one for one replacement. But let's
look at the upcoming schedule for Bryce Young because they're
going up against the Bucks with essentially the division on

(14:12):
the line. Tampa Bay has given up the most fantasy
points to quarterbacks in the last four weeks. I know
it could have been a bit of a snoozer. So
we've got folks finding out today that the Panthers actually
lost that game to the Saints. Don't call anybody out.
It's not me. I'm not naming anybody specifically now, but
you know, in case I'm get in our ear and

(14:32):
say I didn't realize it's diverted elsewhere. It's the final
day for the twenty twenty six NFL Pro Bowl Vote,
presented by Jersey Mike's. The Roster, folks is up to
you cash your ballot to honor your team's biggest playmakers.
Your vote counts for two today, so visit Pro Bowl
dot Com slash vote before the polls close tonight. If
you're in line to vote for the Pro Bowl. Stay

(14:54):
in line, line, and so folks, if you've made it
to the next round of your fantasy playoffs, better time
to absolutely lose it. This is panic or patience. This
is the panic button, as we have an opportunity to
tell you whether you should flip out regarding one of
your fantasy stars. And one guy plays right behind us,
Justin Herbert was the QB twenty five Ranck. Are you

(15:15):
gonna panic me this button? Justin Herbert. I'm not kidding you.
You gotta app now. We're not panicking.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
We're not gonna panic on Justin Herbert, despite the fact
that he's had You know, I've been playing with one
arm one hand at least, and yesterday was not great. However,
I had to buy so it didn't really matter as
much to me. However, I will say this, I was
ready to sit here and start factoring through the waiver
wire and being like, there might need to be another
quarterback that I look at this situation. Am I gonna

(15:43):
look at Tyler Shock or Bryce Young?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Who you're talking about? That? I realized other Planet Cowboys
this week they.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Got Matt ever Flush's defense.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Yeah, fire up, Justin Herbert ladies and gentleman. He's gonna
be just fine. A former Chargers quarterback, Philip Rivers, got
some reps. It didn't necessarily lead till a lot of
points for Michael Pittman Junior though, Cynthia three point nine
fantasy points. But the team's vibes were up. Are we
are we avoiding panicking?

Speaker 4 (16:07):
I mean, I love the vibes and I'm so glad
that I'm back in a stationary situation, just in time
to hinnap pants.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
But he could not meet to see more.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
There we go.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
When your quarterback shot putting the football, it's going to
be difficult.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
I just don't understand in this.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Situation how you can rely on any of the past
catchers to be There's no chemistry.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
It's I mean, it'll come. I love seeing Philip Rivers
out there. It was fun. It's going to be great.
But I'm looking at the schedule going.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Forward and it is a doozy, and I think what
you're going to want to do here is you want
to see if who you can replace Pittman Junior with.
Because total panic, total panic, total panic, Yeah, all over
panic signals all across the world, which leads me to
a discussion of the Vonta Smith because.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
A game against the Raiders, everybody's supposed to get healthy,
and Dallas got Dudezekwan got in the end zone. Davonta
Smith only had seven points. So I am not not
going to panic. I'm not panicking. Also, look at the
upcoming schedule. They've got the Commanders and the Bills. Great
matchups there. He'll he only got two targets. He caught
both of them, a lot of grind smitty in the

(17:16):
paste in a game against the Raiders who don't necessarily
need so I I here am not panicking. I get
it at all.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Like you said, I get what you're saying, and a.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Funny you are you kidding me? Who are you trying
to convince like this is a I said?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Listen, He's had ten Fantasy points once in his last
five games, his receptions have decreased in each of the
last three, and the Eagles have one of the lowest
pass rates in the NFL. This is the absolute time
to panic on Devanta Smith to get out when you can.
I love him as a player. I think he's great.
I really enjoy watching him as a football player. But

(18:00):
as far as a fantasy enthusiast who wants to win
my matchup this week, I've got to bump them.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I can't do it. I'm sorry, I'm panic up. It's okay,
Let's go to another player who's very good, Cynthia. We
love Damir Gibbs. He was held under seventy rushing yards
for the third straight time. Is it time to panic?

Speaker 5 (18:19):
I mean, the Lions oh line, all of the injuries
hit the oh stop it.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
We're not even close to We're patiencing on this one
for sure. Why pretty much the only good thing that
we have in as a Detroit fan is number zero.
But I'm looking at the opportunity going forward they're going to.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
Rely on him.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Yet again, this was a very very strong I mean,
in the first block of the show, we talked about
how both of the wide receivers were involved in the
top scoring.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
Guys of the week. Why well, in.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Part because the run game wasn't working so they had
to look elsewhere and the game script was not favorable
for Gibbs. So don't worry about it. It's going to
be totally fine. Jamior Gibbs potentially the best coming back
in all of the NFL this.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Year, yeah, cool your jets if you're upset or worried
about Jamiir Gibs. But there's some folks who don't have
any jets to cool because there's season's over. Sign for
my season ended? When is we got some great submissions?

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Right?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
This is for you, Kyle Pitts on pj's bench. When
you have forty five points, you deserve this.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Listen as somebody who stubbornly plays Kyle Pitts each and
every week.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
It is.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
It was a nice come up, and it is like
one of those things where you sit through a movie
long enough and then at the very end you're like, oh,
I was pleasantly surprised, like the opposite of episode nine.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
But it was, you know, like, let's say it's the
counter Shamalan, Ted had excuse me, Ted had deck with
four kneel downs in week eleven, lost by point one
two and then yeah, I had the league neighbors get
hurt as well.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Cynthia, Oh, well, the neighbor's injury. At least you've had
to deal with that to get to your fantasy playoffs.
But the neel downs, that that is the silliest rule
and point situation in all of fantasy. So you know,
we talk about how things make us angry.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
All the time. I'm sorry, that just stinks.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
It's set. We'll have to get with the fantasy administrator.
James started Joe Burrow in the worst game he's ever
played over Jalen Hurts against the Raiders. I understand, I
understand what you're trying to do. It's the Raiders, James. Yeah,
that's that's the troublake thing. User had an eight point

(20:27):
fifty yard touchdown bonus in his league and played against
Trevon Henderson in the play.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Oh my gosh, And as he said earlier on in
the show, there's nobody in Patriots history who has had
more fifty yard runs than at Travon Henderson during his
rookie Like just we're talking about Craig James, talking about
Sam Cunningham, We're talking about James White, Jonas Gray, like
a litany of great Patriots running back. It's really not

(20:54):
it's really not like the Bears. You're like, if you
do that in Chicago, that makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Like New England.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
You're like, I kind of get it now now that
I'm running down the names.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Like this should have happened. Shout out to a screat
Andrew joined both leagues seas in and that's when the
season ended.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
Cynthia, Andrew, you.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Have to just like they say, to dress for the
job that you want, not the job you have.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
You have to change your mindset here. You need to
be a winner. Andrew.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Next year, you got to stir with the mindset. I'm
going to smoke everyone in this league. Don't just say
I joined it. I'm gonna lose.

Speaker 5 (21:25):
No, no, no, no no. It's a mindset thing, buddy, mindset.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Yeah, picking them up, Cynthy, I love it. Vos all
the way up like the vio or for JJ McCarthy
had three touchdowns looking at him like seeming gritty into
the end zone. But what other Viking stock is on
the rise and who might be slipping into can't trust
status in the postseason. Our answer is coming up next
on Fantasy Lock. We're back here on NFL Fantasy a

(21:53):
lot of it's time for our weekly view of markets
at stock up stock now because there's a lot of
parallels between the stock market and fantasy. Like some folks
wishing the SEC could be a force for good. So, Cynthia,
what is your stock report here in week fifteen, Well.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Jalen Naylor had a certainly lovely fundamental day where just
absolutely okay, like he had a great day, And Jalen
Naylor's stock is up because clearly there's a connection between
him and nine. I'm not going to call him JJ
McCarthy or I'm just going with nine if he's going
to play like that. It did kind of come with
a weird, not so great situation for Justin Jefferson. So

(22:29):
I don't know, we'll focus on the positive here and
say that Jalen Naylor factor was strong in this one.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
Now, on the other side of things, my stockdown.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
If you're going to tell me you don't want to
be there, if you're going to signal to the market
that you're not necessarily happy in Cincinnati and then go
play like this, like I think your stock's down.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
I think Joe Burrow told us. I mean, maybe we
should have just listened to him a little bit more.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
You know, there were some reports that came out that
said that he didn't mean it against the Bengals, but.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
He doesn't like not winning. We get it.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
Usually he doesn't win, but he gives us winning fantasy points.
He just brought down everyone who had him in fantasy
football too, So stock down Joe Brew.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Yeah, it was one of those things where you start
about like nobody would have won with me as a
starting quarterback, and I think it included many many fantasy
rosters now, not just the teams in the NFL, but
one quarterback whose stock is starting to rise, and he.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Was on the high train last week. We're talking about Tyler.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Shuck, who is playing some pretty good football for the
New Orleans Saints and he has been the quarterback twelve.
Since Week ten, he had seventy plus fantasy points and
four out of his last five. He's also pretty decent
at rushing the football as well. Again, a lot of
these quarterbacks, you're overlooking what they're able to do and
what they're able to give to you on the ground.

(23:45):
One hundred and twenty seven rushing yards since week twelve.
Is the humble break not coming up?

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Is that it?

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Do?

Speaker 2 (23:50):
I not get it?

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Don't do it now, don't play kid. Now it's too late.
It's go beg for it. It's it's not very but
Tyler Shuck. It'll be fun to see if you can
trust them in your fantasy playoffs, if you lost Patrick Mahomes,
somebody to consider stock down. And this is mildly. I
think that Kamani vital his talk is down a little bit.

(24:13):
He was the RB forty one on Sunday. Now, part
of it is you're going up against a pretty good defense.
This is to be expected. But more and more, Marion
Hampton is going to be a bigger part of this offense.
Yesterday Kamani had twelve rushing attempts. Marion Hampton at fifteen.
We're starting to see it. And so that run that

(24:34):
Kamani Vidal had through part of the season is now
it's now starting to wane and you can look back
at it with fondness.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Yes, smile, not.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Because you're sad that it's going away, but then it happened, Yes,
and got you to the fantasy play We're so roll
your eyes at me, Cynthia.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
We can still see you. We're philosophical on today's edition
of NFL Fantasy Live. What about a player who is
on the top seed right now in the AFC and
is the top receiver, So it's weird that he's having
a stock up, But that's how good the Broncos passing
attack was against the Green Bay Packers. It's a stock
way up for me for Courtland Sutton a season, I
have twenty four fantasy points. Bo Nix was attacking the

(25:11):
Packers downfield all afternoon into the evening. Sutton caught seven
passes FO one hundred and thirteen yards and a touchdown.
Since Week thirteen, he's the wide receiver eight. So Courtland
Sutton might be a big reason a lot of you
are still alive and in the postseason. But it is
a stock down for Kareem Hunt, who only got seven touches.
You got to go back seven weeks for the last

(25:32):
time he's had an opportunity count that low. His biggest
value was as the guy that was going to get
those short yard It's touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs.
With Gardner Minshew at the quarterback position, they're not going
to be in scoring position as many times. So I
think that's going to be a big stock down for
Kareem Hunt. It's time for a data deep dive here
on our show because the new fantasy portion of NFL

(25:55):
pro gives you so many different tools, Cynthia that we
can use to not just facilitate our work where we
talk about all this stuff for the people at home
so that we can win our fantasy leagues, of which
I have been eliminated. But what Cynthia, did you see
over the weekend that you want to share with the
people right now?

Speaker 4 (26:12):
Well, if something hits the rises to the level of
being the most in the next gen stats era, we're
going to talk about it right here.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
And that is what happened in du Vall.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
If you're looking at Trevor Lawrence, he had not one,
not two, three four touchdown passes to players aligned in
the backfield, three to Traves etn one to Basehold Tuton. Well,
if the Jets are just going to trade away Quinn Williams,
why as well.

Speaker 5 (26:35):
Just hit him where it hurts.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Might as well just figure out the opportunity there to
exploit a mismatch and run it down their throats.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
So I think Trevor Lawrence just had one of.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
The obviously one of the best games of his career,
but one of the smartest game plans going into it.

Speaker 5 (26:50):
And this is what happens the most in the next
stats era.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
And speaking of game plan, well, we saw a difference
in the first half to the second half. If you're
looking at what happened for it the Buffalo Bills. In
the first half, Josh Allen was not connecting on deep passes.
He had exactly zero passes that were completed for over
ten are yards. He averaged two point four are yards
per attempt. Whoosh, that is not high is decidedly unhigh.

(27:16):
And in the second half what happened nine point eight
air yards per target.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
That was a huge difference.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
So what exactly went down, Well, they used better protections,
they allowed Josh Allen to have just a bit more time,
and they exploited little seams in the defense, little opportunities
to find those extra spots.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
I'm going to goad another quarterback. It's a rookie quarterback,
Jackson Dart, and folks were concerned about his usage in
designed runs. Of course, he's been evaluated for concussions in
half of the games that he started in his NFL career,
but he did have sixty scramble rush yards in Week fifteen.
As much as they try to keep him from running,
Jackson Dart will always run. They only had three designed

(27:58):
rush yards had Zerz last week. So if Jackson Darts
on the field and GS points out, he will be
running folks, sign up for NFL Plus Premium and get
