Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, what's up everybody. Welcome to another edition of the
NFL Fantasy Football Show. It's me and your man named
g Marcus Grant, joined by Michael f Florio and Lakwan Jones.
I've learned something in the last several minutes before we

(00:22):
started the show today. We have been saying berg Fest
for Wednesday. I've been told via our producer Hythan Kalani.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Now he minij you. He just googled it, which is
something we probably could have done.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Mouch a bird fight right that Apparently the German word
for Wednesday is like midwalk mitwalk, and berg Fest just
means mountain festival. So we've been led astray.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
All right, thanks chat for saying that in the comments
and making me think that Wednesday is burfast.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
At least it wasn't something vulgar that we've been seeing
on air, like mountains I like to think of Germany.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
They're just like, why are these guys celebrating the mountains
midle of the week?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Still it anyway, we are gonna be looking ahead to
the weekend here on this show today, we've got your
starts and sits for your playoff semi finals. Well dive
into these Sunday night and Monday night games, plus some
bold predictions, and we're gonna ask cam Wolf if he
thinks the Raiders can crack the Houston Texans defense. But first,

(01:20):
as always, got our starts and sins. You can read
Michael f. Florio's column at NFL dot com slash Start.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Sit getting done at the Anni. Look one more of
them left after this? Right? That's badly, yeah, aadly it's
flown by. Its absolutely flown by.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
But let's look at the quarterbacks. Who was on your
start list? Who is on your sit list?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Marcus? I d the article, I quote you, and as
Marcus likes to say, and forget it like he's must started.
He gets the Bengals next week. Great matchup this week.
I really like Jared Goff, who, just like Jamison Williams,
is excelling with Dan Campbell as a play caller. He's
averaging nineteen Fantasy points per game since Campbell has taken

(02:01):
over Jordan Love. Look, I like the matchup. The style
of defense the Bears run is one that is favorable
for Jordan Love and this worked two weeks ago. So
let's running back and then Bryce Young Because as we
as you said last week, Marcus and we talked a
lot about this week, like play people against, play your
quarterbacks against the Bucks, and then the sis Jackson Dart
pains me. But the Vikings have been elite. They've allowed

(02:23):
one passing touchdown since Week ten. Trevor Lawrence just because
of the Broncos matchup, I know he was awesome last
week and then Caleb, Like I have Caleb in the league,
I'm playing Brock Purdy over him. I just don't feel
great about getting Caleb in this week.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
In this man, I feel like Caleb is gonna be like,
you won't be terrible, but it's just gonna be kind
of mid. Like you're gonna get fifteen sixteen points. Yeah,
you're not gonna feel great about it, you know. Do
or Dies He me final like you need that twenty burger.
You need something big, right, likes like sixteen. Getting sixteen
points from him in like week twelve be like okay, whatever,
you know, we.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Just move on on to next week. But that's not
the case. That's not no.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
It's just not ask you about Bryce Young because he's
been sort of hard to figure out.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
But this matchup is just it feels like it's too
good to ignore.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, it's one of those matchups you just hope that
he just goes in. He's locked in. He can go
against a Bucks defense that allow a ton of fantasy
points to the quarterback position. Plus maybe he can get
in and out of the pocket, because we know Bryce
has some wheels. He's like sneaky and being able to
get out of the pocket and get a field.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
And you look at the Bucks.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
They're allowing the second most rushing yards to the quarterback position,
and hey, everybody in the South is getting a rushing touchdown.
Pannix has one two. I mean, looking at the opportunity,
I think Bryce Young really shows up this week and
really make fantasy and managers love him this way.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Let us love you Bryce, please.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
It would have been something if Kirk Cousins had a
rushing touchdown against them.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, that'd be pretty embarrassing the Bucks, like, come on,
you got Kirk in the end zone. Come on, Shan,
you can't have Kirk Captain Kirk running it up on you.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
That's that's no good. He Kirk Cousins definitely cannot run.
What'd you run a five to six? Kirk?

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I could definitely beat Kirk Cousins. I could beat Kirk
Cousins and some Cohles Khakis.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I have zero row down.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
You like Coles Khakis and church shoes. You can beat
Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
And that's probably how he shows up to run the
forty as well.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, I mean, look, let's invite Kirk to the fantasy
what is it called the combo?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
There we go.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I think we should get that going very soon to
start doing some invites.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, I feel like he's not showing up for that.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
That's just my thought. Anyway, Let's go to the running backs.
Who are you starting? Who are you sitting?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
This week? Bucky Irving he went for a buck eighty
and both matchups against the Panthers last year and the
Panthers remember early in the year, we were like, it's
not the same old Panther run defense. It's the same
run defense. Rico Dowdell, I know before thereby when Chewba
Hubbard was so involved, they got a little scary. But
Rico was the lead RB again last week. Aaron Jones,

(04:50):
just because the Giants I think are the best matchup
for running backs right now. And then Quinn Shawn Judkins
I'm afraid of him getting game scripted a little bit,
but he's been getting more passes, doing Sam's and being
up in the air is low key huge for Judkins
as well. And then the sis Ashton Genty. I don't
want to trust that Raiders offense if I don't have to.

(05:10):
Tony Pollack's been running really hot, but the Chiefs are
a tough matchup, and then Kareem Hunt if it's not
Rashie Rice or Travis Kelce. I have no interest in
any g Neshtin. Gent's an interesting one. I think heading
toward next year. This year we sort of know what
it's gonna be, right, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Next year is gonna be interesting because I think everybody
was way too high on him this year. It feels
like everybody's gonna over correct and go way too low
on him next year.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
It also depends on like who's their coach, who's their quarterback.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Guy they add additions to the line. I mean that's
the most important part. And again I like Gino, but
do they have a quarterback next year as well? Like
that's something that we need, I mean talk about best
quarterback they have is an ownership.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Coming out of easier comeback for the final two games,
just for fun.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
He's up here talking about like, if Philip Rivers can
do it, I can do it. Lit show us, man,
I don't know, put come it on.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
He confidently said he could still be a starter at
forty eight, and I'm not doubting him.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I mean, like you you write checks for a team
with quarterback issues, like if you really feel like you
can be that dude, beat that dude, like you know,
let me see.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
He could air it out more than Rivers easily. Oh yeah,
well he got more behind that old line. This raiders
little reason he's not doing it. If they had a
good old line. I think I think Brady would be like,
you know what, I'll suit him up. Why why not I.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Get a couple of drives in if it happens. You know,
people are going to be just insane about brock Bottles.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I guess it's gonna be to the moon.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Anyway, back to the running backs here, Ricodowdell, I don't
really know what you're gonna say, but I feel like
the words snip snapstip snapp are going to be involved
in it.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
It could be, but I'm looking at it last week
where like his fantasy day was saved by a first
quarter touchdown, and I think when you look at the
rest of the game those three quarters outside of the
first quarter, it kind of was like Chuba Hubber is
still involved heavily in this backfield, and neither one of
them were served after that, I mean single digit fantasy
points in those three quarters. So I look at this

(07:04):
is where we still don't have the answer if Rico
Dado is going to take majority of these touches and
actually do something fantasy relevant with it. There's rushing touchdown
upside this week against the Bucks, but who's to say
that Tuba doesn't step in and get involved in the
passing game like he's been these last couple of weeks.
Like neither one of them have been great on the
ground efficiency wise. So I'm really really cautious about giving

(07:26):
people advice of saying, yeah, Rico's the majority back back
in that backfield. He's the guy that you can rely
on as in RB two in the past of what
we've seen hit those fantasy highs. So I'm just a
little bit cautious. I'm still side eye in this backfield,
but more so you're just hoping and praying that he
gets in the end zone.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Like he did last week.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
This has become a true like hot hand backfield right now, because.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Wasn't it always like that?

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Though, Like I feel like that's what it was in
the beginning the season where they were kind of just
sprinkling in Rico and then when Rico kind of took
over the stretch where Rico took over and oh yeah,
of course we remember that stretch. But in the beginning
of the season it was like Cuba is still the guy,
the guy that we drafted, and Rico just came out
of nowhere.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Yeah, but I mean you look at the last couple
of weeks now, like their usage, their carrier, it's all
about the same, and even like the targets are the same.
I remember looking at him like, Okay, well who's guy's
catching the football.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I'm like, well they they both. That is the secret
ingredient because the Bucks have been abysmal all year against
past catching back.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah, it's just like they're both getting about the same
number of targets.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
It just really is hard. I wrote Rico as a start,
and then I was also called Chuba's sleeper. I was like,
if you if you're going a little bit deeper, like
in the blurb about Rico, I'm like, you could also
plug in Cuba here, right, Like this is what this is.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
When it's not very often when I'm like, okay, we
should just play team positions, like I just, you know,
can I just plug in Panthers running back?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
This have a league that does that for kickers of
all kind of like to do it?

Speaker 1 (08:50):
How many teams rotate kickers like it's just you're the
kicker for the day. I mean, look, trust me, Niner
fans would have wanted to pun Jake Moody in the
middle of a lot of games, but like that was it.
He was their kicker for the day and you just
dealt with it. Like that's all I know. Anyway, we
got a lot's left to do here on the show,
we're gonna get into the Sunday night game between the
Patriots and the Ravens and figure out which Patriots wide

(09:13):
receiver we might have an interest in. That and a
whole lot more coming up on the NFL Fantasy Football Show.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Time to check out the first.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
To score odds for the Sunday night game between the
Patriots and the Ravens. For that one, Dereck Henry with
the best odds guy who's picked it up later in
the season, Travion Henderson following not too far behind, Yeah,
Mark Andrews, and then Zay Flowers, Romandre Stevenson, who just
keeps turning up like a bad penny, can't go away
in an office. He is the fifth of the five

(09:45):
names here on the board. I'll aska you of you guys,
Lakwan started with you. Who is who do you like
the most on that board? Or is there somebody else
maybe Trayvon Henderson. I mean, hands down, we're all fans here.
We want him to take it to the house and
be the first one to put.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Up the board.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I mean, honestly, he's probably going to be a league
winner for a lot of folks. So Trayvon Henderson from
from the forty yard line of his own, you've.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Been seeing Travion all year. I'm guessing your state.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
I wasn't wrong either in the beginning of the year.
None of us were wrong. Mike ray Roll and Josh
McDaniel were wrong because he's clearly in the superior back.
Please tell me he's not, says he.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
I do love how fantasy folks were like we had
this right, Like, yeah, glad.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
You guys caught up. Yeah, exactly, Thanks for catching up
on this one.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, I think it's Travion, although I'm surprised that Drake
May wasn't on there just.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Because yeah, yeah, you know, and Lamar and Lamar J.
There you have.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
You have two mobile quarterbacks. Yeah, one of them showed
up on this list.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
So that's just a little bit weird.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
As for the game itself, of course, you can see
that Sunday night on the national broadcasting channel laquant. If
you're going to pick one, just one Patriots wide receiver
to start from this game, who would it be?

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Can? I? Can? I pick nobody?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Because have you seen the game logs for any of
the wide receivers in the last three weeks? Single digit
Fantasy points for all of them, and it's like you
have Stefan Dick's playing less than fifty percent of snaps.
Why then you have Kayshawn Boody that catches a deep
pass every other.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Game, that's cool.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
And then you have Mac Collins leading this wide receiver
room with a thirty two percent target share, doing absolutely
nothing with it in fantasy. And I think the only
pass catcher you can trust is Hunter Henry where he's
been the guy that's been reliable. I know he disappeared
last week, but he's the guy that's been getting the yards.
He's the only one that's averaging more than thirty five
yards per game in the last three weeks. So I

(11:28):
look at this if I have other options I can
pivot to. I do not feel good about any Patriots
wide receiver this week.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
I had the Patriots game on last week and Kayshawn
Booty made a play in the announcers said his name,
and my wife happened to be walking by.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
She's like, what is that man's name? Also, that catch
hit the turf, they're saying that hit the turf. But
I did love Patriots fans being like, what happened? Where
is Steph Diggs in this big game? Why is he
not out there? And it's like this is what Bills fans?
Oh my god, I love it. I love him. But
he tended to shy away in contact in the games.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah, he was kind of Homer Simpson this sort of thing.
And those games you saw on that list of first
touchdown odds, Mark Andrews made the list last week. A
lot of people be included thought Isaiah likely would be
an interesting start, and he included he got the same
number of targets as all three of us sitting here. Hey,
can you start a Raven side in this week?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Michael? I think it's kind of similar to last week,
but just not as good of a matchup, right, Like,
I think Mark Andrews is the touchdown bet like that
he is always going to bring the higher touchdown chances
of the two of them because that is where he
gets utilized the most. But I know he didn't have
a target last week. I still think Isaiah likely is

(12:48):
in play as a sleeper here because he is more
of the chain mover, the yards guy. The thing about
last week is the Ravens blew them out from the
jump are through twelve passes. I don't think it's it's
fair to be like these guys stink or something like that.
You need chances. Half of those passes went to say

(13:09):
Flowers too, So like, yeah, I think they're not I'm
not like pounding the table like I was a week
ago for them, but I do think they're both in
play as like streaming tight ends.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Yeah, it's just been so weird trying to peg the
the Ravens passing games because you know, either they're low volume,
most of the throwers are going to say Flowers.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
I mean you look at his target share.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
I mean it's he's well above the target's reception yards,
well above the second place on that scene.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
But he doesn't get touchdowns. Makes him annoying. Right, Just
on top of it all, we're dealing with the yearly
Lamar illness, Like every December, like clockwork, this guy gets sick.
I just need your vitamins.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
He's a Miami dude in the coal like built, so
we send him some emergency, get him some ginger.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
What are you doing? Why?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
How does this happen every single year? I mean you
guys surprised that the Ravens are favorites in this game.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
No, that is kind of weird though, right because you
have the fake campaign of the MVP race with Drake.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
May mean the campaign is real, it is fake anyway,
Look the schedule, like, like I know, we've talked about
it a lot. They're not beating these allegations because you
had the Bengals without Burrow and Chase. Now you're getting
a sick Lamar and then you get Brady Cook and
Quinn Ewers to end this season like everything has just
worked out. It's not the Patriots fault, don't get me wrong,

(14:29):
but I've never seen a schedule break this way for
one team.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Everything is coming up Millhouse for the evand Patriots. Monday
Night football from Indianapolis, the forty nine Ers taking on
the Indianapolis Colts. You can see that game at eight
fifteen pm Eastern on Espen ABCA and Espen de Portas.
The Niners starting to get hot later in the season,
much of the chagrin of Won Lakwan Jones, so we

(14:53):
will ask this question of Michael f Florio instead. Rock
perty has been playing some good football. The Colts still
have been I would say kind of middle of the pack,
maybe a little bit blow average against quarterbacks. Would you
start Rock Purty in this situation?

Speaker 2 (15:06):
I am like I have him in the league myself
where I'm playing him over Caleb, like I said, But yeah,
not only is Purty I would say, the healthiest he's
probably been since what Week one? But now he's got
to see him see healthy, and Kittle and Jennings and
pearsall's getting involved and like they really didn't have all
of this cast of characters for much of the year.
On top of that, the Colts, like you said, like

(15:28):
they're not the best matchup, but without Sauce Gardner, they
are definitely a team that can be you could throw against.
So plus Perdy adds a little bit of sneaky value
with his legs, Like he's not gonna run for fifty
or something like that, but he could get you like
twenty rushing yards. So I do like Purty a good amount.
And then he'll do the dougie after he scores a touchdown.
Tool that was clean. Yeah, Con doesn't want to give

(15:52):
it credit, but we know he liked you know he did.
Didn't see it, you know, didn't see it. Yes, yes
you did tasting about it. You are more online than
all of absolutely saw for sure.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
On the other side, So I asked you this about
the Patriots, I'll ask you this about the Colts. Pick
one one Colts wide receiver that you would start. I
have one in mind, by the way.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
I'm just curious what your thoughts were.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
I did too, And like with Rivers last week, I mean,
we didn't see a lot of deep downfield shots, like
so Pittman takes a hit, Josh downs seems to be
his security blanket, Like I know we want Tyler Warren
to be there, but Josh Downs finding the end zone
last week's great. And I said that, you know on
last week's episode that Josh Downs could be a sneaky
fourteen sixteen league Fleck Scott because being that he plays
that underneath and he could be a security blanket for

(16:34):
Rivers where he only had two passes completed over ten
yards last week. So I think that's kind of what
the war of this offense is going to look like.
We're and the ball off the JT check it down,
Where's Josh Downs? I think that's kind of where we're
looking at where Josh Downs ends up being like one
of those guys that you desperately need somebody to put
into your flex.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
He could be there on the way to.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Wire for it. Yeah, Josh Downs was the name I
was thinking of. But I also think the ceiling is
going to be kind of limited on him.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Just what you may last week.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
I think it's four point four yards per attempt for
Philip Rivers.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
That great? Do you think we see all eleven defenders
in front of the sticks, Like that's what I would do,
right I dare you to throw it out? Man, Like
you can't throw it far.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
We're gonna try to stop Jonathan Taylor. That's job number one, right,
Slow down, Jonathan Taylor. I don't trust that Philip Rivers
is going to be able to beat me deep right now,
Like you know, I think that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
But I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I think Josh Downs, if there is one, he is
the one I'm gonna see.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
They open the window for for Ar Anthony Richardson. I'm excited.
I mean, you've been a fan since day one, so
I know you're really happy I have him. I've stashed
him in the Super Flex League all year, like in
my ir spot, Wow, I lost my homes last week.
I'm using Bryce Dedication. It could line up perfect because

(17:51):
Bryce Young get Seattle next week. I'm like, no, if
AR starts next week, I'm playing them.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
The problem for the Colts is like, you're still kind
of in the playoff, and I don't think you want
to showcase Anthony Richardson, right.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Riley Leonard, why is he not there? Well, they're gonna
play Richardson over Leonard. You're gonna play Richardson over. He's
a top five pick.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah, they're gonna play Richard because if nothing else, you
showcase him potentially as trade bait for something else. If
you're done, if you decide you don't want him there,
play him, try to get some good tape out there,
and then see if you can swap him for somebody.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
I was talking to a friend of mine who's a
big Notre Dame fan last night, and he was like,
he struggles to throw deep, but unlike Philip Rivers, he
can't get through progressions quickly.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
And I was like, okay, designs that, how'd you like
to play missus Lincoln?

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Great? All right? There you go with forty nine Ers
and Colts. Back to our starts.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
In six four Week sixteen, we got some wide receivers
on tap.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Who do you like this week? Who do you not
like this week? Raci Rice? If he plays, he's in
concussion protocol. They're saying he has a chance. I know
people are worried with no Mahomes, but I think he
is a start if he plays Michael Wilson. I don't
love that Marvin Harrison Junior's back, but I think the
matchup is favorable enough where you ride the hot hand there.
Jamison Williams is an absolute mustart to me. He has

(19:07):
been bawling out since Dan Campbell took over the plays
dk metcalf because the Lions have just been cooked downfield
by wide receivers as of late, the Legion of whom
is what they're calling their secondary. And then Lad McConkie
was my Rashid Rice replacement in the article because he
gets the Cowboys right, Like, that's the only I'm not
telling you like he's been playing great or anything, but

(19:28):
he gets the Cowboys. And then the CITs a Mecca abuka,
not like a must sit, but I have a couple
of spots where I'm looking to get away from him.
That's how I kind of judge it by I look
at my teams, like can I sit this guy? All right? Yeah?
I think I can wandell just because the Vikings have
been elite against receivers. The last time I receiver scored
a touchdown against them was Week nine. And then Michael

(19:50):
Pittman Junior. We just talked about the Colts and Deebo.
It's over for Debo. It was a fun run early
in the year, but when Terry's out there, it's really
hard to get too pas Catchers from Marcus Mariota.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Yeah, I just I don't really see that happening for
Deebo Samuel, so I totally get that one there. I'm
gonna I want to ask you about DK Metcalf because
you had some not nice things to say about him
in our text chat. But but we'll keep that in house. Basically,
my birthday doesn't mean he doesn't like DK, even though
you guys share a birthday. Were Kyle Shanahan and Kyle

(20:21):
Shanahan two guys who made your life miserable in the
I guess the rest at some point. Yeah, exactly what
would you guys talk about if the three of you
went out for dinner?

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Wow, I don't think you say that on this show.
I want not Safe for work. I think we're allowed
to say those words on this show.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Instead, I'll ask you about Jameson Williams Kyra Williams cousin.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Oh I did not know that? Yeah, first, cause I
won't lie. I found that out last week for the
first time.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
I knew that last year, but it wasn't like big news,
so I kind of just like, oh, that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
I learned something new today. You would think Karen would
be faster.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Ye wrong side of the tree, buddy, you have the
fastest guy and then like a pretty speed hereditary necessarily
jameson Williams.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Like we we loved the breakout, it took a while
for it to happen. Does it continue this week?

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:09):
This is more so of like I'm looking at him,
he could be a wide receiver one this like this
is the production that he's going to get with the
Steelers secondary where there's opportunities there. When we look at
the Steelers secondary, they're allowing the fifth most explosive plays
of fifteen plus yards to wide receivers. And everything that
we have seen from James and Williams these last couple
of weeks have been nothing but speed and explosiveness. So yeah,
Jared Golf is going to have a nice game with

(21:31):
James and Williams. So I see a twenty burger in
the future for him this week.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
What I do love about the Lions offense is that
it's pretty much a three person passing game. Right, it's
a'mon ros Saint Brown, it's Jamison Williams, it's Jamier Gibbs.
Like once Sam Laporta went down, you know, like you know,
to stop trying to fool ourselves about Khalif Raymond or
test of those guys, like like, we don't have to

(21:55):
pretend anymore. Man, It's just those three guys. They get
all the targets and we just go on.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
I kind of love with Dan Campbell's because he's even
started using Gibbs more and like shining away from Monti
a bit. He's just like, I'm gonna put the ball
in my three best players hands as often as I can.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Sometimes foosball is simple like that, you know, just give
it to your good players. I mean, you can drop
a whole lot of things in the end, you just
get the ball to your best players.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
And more often than that, Smith feels by the exact opposite. Oh,
these are your best players as decoys.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
I mean Arthur Smith, Sean Payton, all these guys who
just try to like agreeable now, I mean, geez, just
playing four D chess for no real good reason.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
I just don't understand it.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Over to the tight ends, which you know is always
a little bit of a dice roll. Who is up
who is down on the tight end position?

Speaker 2 (22:39):
For you? I think Kyle Pitts has just become someone
you start with confidence, it's a good matchup. He scored
fifteen or more and three straight. He was the best
tight end of the season in any game last week,
so I think you play him. I'll take the l
on Dallas Goddard last week, but he was kind of
a forgotten man and then all of a sudden, seventeen
targets in the last two. But what makes the specialist
touchdowns and the Commanders have given up a whole bull

(23:00):
to tight ends. And then Darren Waller, I know it's
a quarterback change. I still think he's a streaming option.
There's a little bit more risk now, but the matchup
has him in play. And then the six Tyler Warren.
You were just saying LQ like we wanted to be him,
and they tried like Rivers throwing the ball six times
last week, but it just it hasn't really been there
the last five six weeks now for Warren Colson Loveland,

(23:21):
I will say I believe as of right now, the
Bears have ruled out a Doonsay and Burden. That makes
me like Loveland a whole lot more than I did
when I wrote this up on Monday, Hunter Henry, just
because the Ravens have been tough against tight ends, and
Drake May is gonna spread the ball out and annoy
as fantasy managers. And then aj Barner because I forgot

(23:42):
to take him off the list. He plays on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
All right, cool, So you know, if you're watching this
in the future, he could be a genius. He could
maybe have egg on his face. Who knows at this point.
But looking at the tight end position, I mean, it's
always sort of a dice roll here, right, I mean, yeah,
Dallas got her, I said, I didn't say the Dallas
got last week. I said he's a beware just because

(24:07):
the Raiders weren't giving up a lot of production to
tight ends. But I also feel like tight ends just
weren't being used against them.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Yeah, that's kind of.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Probably what it was.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
So like, are we in for another Dallas Goddard a
week or does the.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Ball go somewhere else?

Speaker 3 (24:20):
I think it's on the table just based on what
we've seen the Eagles utilize him in striking distance. That's
really what we care about. Is this tight end going
to give us ten points? Is he going to get
a touchdown? And that's definitely on the table this week
against the Commanders where they're tied for the third most
touchdowns allowed to the tight end position, and we see
this guy when they getting striking distance, they get close,
they're willing to give him a shuffle pass, as.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
We see in the b roll right now.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
The time was exactly and it's crazy that they're making
him kind of a piece of this offense that we've
seen before before the aj Brown and Devonte Smith bigs
Batman and Little Batman, where Dallas guy is still out
there getting it man in back to back games, we're
getting tight in one production. I don't see why it
changes this week.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Yeah, I mean, it's just it was funny because early
in the year, when the whole tush push thing was raging,
like they actually drew up some sort of variations on
the tush push that involved like a little pitch or
a little shovel.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
He stole that from the Chiefs, though, like I think
we've seen Travis Kelce do that a ton, so it's
like it's not as flashy or cool.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Everybody steals from everybody. But but I guess my point
is like they kind of went away from it for
a while and now it is back.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Question Mark two of three Eagles can do well each week.
It's just a matter of which, I guess if they
spin a wheel, I think, and they're just praying for Devant.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
It is literally I would like Devontae Smith, but it
is like musical chairs and we'll.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Slid from batman to rob at this point, like he
is the sidekick and.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
The wheel might land on him this week. Who knows,
he says all the time. The bar for tid and
success is very, very low.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Kind of a weird story that popped up in fantasy
over the past week. Obviously, if you play fantasy football,
you are familiar with these stat correction that you know
every once in a while during the week, uh, the
official score will look at something and and say, you know,
we should tweak that a little bit, and it changes
fantasy scoring. This is one that I have never heard
of before. And this is a tweet from our own
Tom Pelasero. Now an official stack correction that could impact

(26:10):
your fantasy score from months ago. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams
is now officially credited with a fumble, a fumble recovery,
and a rush for zero yards not minus five on
the last play of the third quarter in Week six Wow,
we have gone back ten weeks. Yeah, we're going way
back back into time and we're changing stack corrections. Now, Florio,

(26:33):
you heard from or heard of someone because you asked
the question, did just get somebody out of the play.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
I tweeted, I said, does anyone have Caleb lose Week
six by point four or less and missed the playoffs
by one game? Thinking like no one of the and
one person tweeted me and they and they sent screenshots
and they were like I did. They lost Week six
by point three. So now that extra point five gives
him the win, and the team that he beat he
was tied for for the final playoff spot. So what

(27:03):
his league did, and this is where you guys could
rule as well, they put it up to vote. They
voted him the week six. That correction team got the
win in week six, So now he became from eliminated
to the three seed. The team that lost that week
got eliminated. And then they went in and they said,
well the three seed would have played the sixth seed
and he won. So now this manager from this that

(27:25):
correction went from being eliminated to being in the semi finals.
I'm really boosting two teams out of the playoffs, like essentially,
what are we because they were like, well, the six
seeds set his lineup and I think beat what the
original three seed was. They were like, well, we voted
him now to be the three seeds, so how would
that have played out? And he beat the other guys?

Speaker 3 (27:46):
So yeah, I can't imagine this happened in my league.
There would be a lot of cursh words, a lot
of just diabolical things being done because week six weeks ago,
second round in.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
The playoffs right now?

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Yeah, for me, I feel like stat corrections at least
in fantasy. Look what if if the NFL wants to
stack correct or whatever and it put it on the
fine whatever. For fantasy, it should work like a replay challenge,
right like you know, like you see teams rush up
to the line because if you snap the ball then
you just can't replay it anymore if your guy has
played another game, Like if you stack correct within the week, fine, cool, cool.

(28:22):
Once that player has played another game, it's done. You
can't stat correct at that point, you deely can't go
back ten weeks to do this.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
I'm curiously who's in charge of this?

Speaker 3 (28:33):
That was like, let me go back ten weeks week
six why not let me go back and correct this.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
If Tom doesn't tweet that out, none of us catch it,
no one knows, and his league doesn't catch it. And
but Tom tweeted it out and this I do like that.
They let the league vote on it, and it was like,
we're gonna go with the majority decision. Jos was like
insane because I would have been like, no, man, like you,
it's bumped her definitely.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
If that was one of if I can tell you
now my home league, this would not be solved at all,
Like it would just be just in the air. We
would just be going back and forth for weeks, maybe
ten weeks.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
It'll be over. A butterfly effect. Is great because like
you treat the rest like if you know, each of
these teams probably do something a little bit different thinking
they're in the playoffs. Yeah, yeah, that's that's a wild story.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
This is a crazy fake game that we played, for sure,
very stressful, very very stressful. Time for a break, but
when we return, will play either or give you our
Bowl predictions for week sixteen and have our weekly chat
with cam Wolf.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Is a little bit of either or.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
I know the last few shows we've been doing the
startle meter, and like I thought about doing that, but
I'm like, let's actually just let's just bring it boiler
down between like two guys, and you know, you have
a choice of which one of these guys you can
start with your playoffs on the line, a chance to
go to the championship week. So Floyda, I will start
with you here Caleb Williams against the Packers, where Joe

(30:00):
Burrow at the Dolphins. Who's been tough on quarterbacks?

Speaker 2 (30:03):
They have been, but I'm still going Joe Burrow. We've
spoke a lot about how like Caleb's floors are like
kind of league losing like ten to fifteen fantasy points. Burrow,
I know, is coming off his worst game, but he's
motivated now. So I'm going with Joe b.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
Yeah, Joe Beasy for sure, even though he's not really
happy right now what's going on. But I do think
that he can handle Miami. Like we're looking at Miami
that just benched to it. What is the atmosphere right
now in Miami.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Yeah, it's funny because the vibes went from really bad
in Miami it's like kind of good to like it
felt like last week against the Steelers, they just let
go of the rope.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yeah, like they're like, it's it's done at this point.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
Terrible.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
So yeah, I'm gon I'm gonna go Joe Burrow here.
You know, Caleb may keep the Bears in it, he's
not gonna necessarily keep my fantasy team in it.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
I don't believe Lakwan. I'll start with you on this one.
Your guy RJ.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Harvey against the Jacksonville Jaguars or the guy on the
other side, Travis Etn against the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
I text you last night like you might as well
just name this segment nasty, because this is a matchup
where you're going against the number one and number two
against the run. Like, You're not gonna really be satisfied
if you're sitting here with either one of these guys.
But I'm gonna go with trams Etn just because he's healthy.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
You know, you got r. J.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Harvey that says he's fine, he's dealing with a rib injury.
But traves et In to me just feels like the
safer bay here.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
Yeah, I would go with Etn as well, but I
do think Arjie Harvey is also in play. This week,
like he's been getting a lot of volume. They'll throw
in him as a bit too, But I do agree.
I think ETN just feels safer here. Yeah, I'm going
with ETN.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
In fact, if you watch this is if you watch
NFL Fantasy Live on Friday, I'm gonna tell you why
you can start.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Travis ETN and feel pretty good about it too. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Just doing some research and you kind of come across
things you're like, oh, maybe this isn't as bad as
I thought it would be. So I'd roll with ETN
in that one, all right, Florio zay Flowers against the
Patriots or Chris o'lave who is free of the satchel
of discontent against.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
The he's free the New York Jetropolitans. I think both
are in play this week. But if I have to
pick one, I'm gonna go with Chris Olavey because Tyler
Schuck has been playing better ball than he gets credit for.
I know he's an o Lamar Jackson or anything like that,
but the volume just is more funneled through olave Like
there's always a chance that the Ravens just run a
ton and they could get their tight ends involved stuff.

(32:16):
Like that. So, and the Jets have just been getting
absolutely cooked on defense since the trade deadline. I'm gonna
go with love.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Mm hmm, Chris o'lave. I mean, honestly, he gives you
more stability at the position. I think Zay he could
be in play to have a good week, But I
just feel a lot more better about Chris o'lave because,
plus we like Tyler Schuck.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
This week gets shucked up. I mean, I agree with
all of that.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Also the fact that the Saints are literally just running
out of people right now. I Devin Neil has been
ruled out, so they're gonna go with some combination probably
of object Estimate and Evan Hall. I guess we don't
really know, at least at this moment, what Alvin Kamara's
availability is going to be. Juwan Johnson has vanished from
the face of the earth. It feels like, uh, you know,

(32:58):
it hurts. It's chrys olama or nothing right at this point.
On offense for the saying, so I would pick him
one last one, and Floyd, I'll ask you this one.
Travis Kelcey at the Tennessee Titans or Tyler Warren against
the forty nine.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Ers Kelsey for me mintually through five passes last week,
but four of them went to Travis kelce and I
think he's gonna come in, especially for she Rice is out.
He might get fifteen targets in this game, just out
of necessity. And Warren, unfortunately, is someone that I'm putting
on a lot of my benches this week.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Yeah, Travis Kelcey for me, at least we can hope
for that. You know, Garner Minshew targets him beyond five
yards like that's kind of just where you're banking on here,
because Tyler Warren, he would need a touchdown to be
anywhere near Fantasy relevant because he doesn't have this have
the yards upside. So gimme Kelsey, I will make that
a sweep.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Go Kelsey as well.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
I have a bold prediction that potentially could involve indirectly
Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
You know, just I don't.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
We just talked about the the Colts pass catchers and that,
you know, beyond Josh downs and even that is sort
of limited. There's just nobody there to really get super
excited about in that Colts offense. Don't love that all right,
So you know there's the either ors or as a
lakwan and say nasty work.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Nasty work.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Second, your fantasy Hey, look man like, this is the
real stuff that folks gotta deal with. Man, times are
tough in these fantasy streets. He's a big important decision.
Get ready, it's time to get spicy with our hot
takes for the week. If we're gonna get a little
bit spicy, lakwan, what are we doing?

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Oh man, I'm going with cam Ward twenty five plus
fantasy points.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
I'm gonna throw in then you probably have two hundred and.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Fifty plus passing yards as well, because I watched all
fifty one drawbacks against Seattle that game where yeah, on purpose,
because I wanted to see how he ended up with
twenty three fantasy points against the Seahawks defense, and also
doing some film, you know, see what the Rams can
get up on with the Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
But I do think this is a are you Cindy
Sean McVay, like, what is happening here?

Speaker 3 (34:56):
I'm doing my best, but I'm just saying cam Ward
he is a guy that has been getting out of
the pocket a lot, and he's looked a lot better
in the.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Last couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
So why not throw up a twenty five burger on
the Chiefs defense, who are kind of middle of the
pack as well, where their top ten and yards out
there to catch, and I think with him being able
to extend the place, there's opportunities for his pass catchers
to get up the field. And Chiefs are actually kind
of bad on third down, So for a quarterbacking to
get out of pocket and extend the place, you're seeing
these throws, You're seeing the opportunities. He's going downfield with
nothing to lose. So a twenty five burger for Camboard

(35:25):
this week.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Dude, I love seeing Calvin Ridley in the highlights, like,
that's how far back some of these go.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Look at that? Look at that?

Speaker 3 (35:31):
And then the Rams game, man, that was an impressive
throw that he did make.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
It was It's not one that you would suggest or
recommend to somebody, but he got away with it exactly.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
If you go back and watch all the dropbacks in
he had a ton of those plays where he's just like,
why are you throwing across your body near the sideline
all the way across the field, Like, dude, you got
that off, but don't do that again.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
You don't, right, Yeah, Floya's here your whole your bold prediction.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Saquon Barkley's best Fantasy game of the season comes this week,
So it would be thirty four more Fansta points because
he's had one thirty three point game. But I think
this is just a fantastic matchup. Since Week eleven, the
Commanders are top three and explosive run rate and yards
before contact, and that is the big thing. Last year's
Saquon averaged over a full yard more before contact than

(36:16):
he is this season. The Eagles O line isn't creating
the same space that it did, but in this favorable
matchup where he should have room to run, He's going
to hit a couple of home runs. I think not surprising.
I think Saquan is.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
In line for a big day against the coming I
think the Eagles offense in general has a big day
against the Commanders this week. For me, So what I
wrote down is different that Gardnerman shoes. What I wrote
down to the Garnerment shoe is going to be a
top ten Fantasy quarterback this week on Fantasy Live. I
was bullied into moving that up to top seven.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Okay, I don't have to ask who.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
I got, but no it's not the first of you think,
oh it really is not. No, but I was bullied
into saying top seven. So what I'm gonna say is
if it is top seven, I'm going to pretend like
I took this was completely my idea. That's what I'm
gonna say.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Look, part of it is the Titans.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
You know, eight straight games they've allowed at least two
hundred and twenty passing yards from a quarterback. Over those
eight games, they've given up eighteen touchdown passes with just
two interceptions.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
So the matchup is in favor of Gardner Minshew.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
The other thing that works for Minshew is we've seen
all these backup quarterbacks who've shown up just looking kind
of care free, playing with nothing to lose, playing free
and easy and lose. That's Gardner Minshew's whole thing. It's
always been Gardner Minshew's whole thing. So why can't he
come in here and be a Joe Flacco Jacobe Brissett. Yeah,
at least for a week or two, especially against a
bad defense. So Gardner Minshew, you know, if you're playing DFS,

(37:40):
I wouldn't recommend doing this, and like, you know, to
try to get to your Fantasy Championship week. But if
you're gonna play some daily fantasy or something like that,
then Gardner Minshew is very much in play.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
So you go.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Those are our hot Takes, presented by Frank's Red Hot Olk.
He was good to see you in studio later in
the week. We don't usually see you here. You're no
I normally a voice in a box, but we appreciate
you hanging out with Matte Next week, you man time
Ond's again to be joined by our friend in NFL
network reporter Kim. I was gonna say, Caim ward I

(38:11):
was looking at something else. I got all distracted.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
Cam Wolfe is the guy who's joining us. You know,
no disrespect to cam Ward, but I've done it the
inverse one time. I'm on a different show. I was
talking about Kim Warden and I was like, again him
wolf and I was like.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
Wait, no, I'm sorry, Yeah, I love to I love
that cop number one overall.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Pick.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
I know the year hasn't gone as great, but I'll
be cam Ward any day of the week. That's good.
It's a good, good stepping up in life for me.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Not a bad spot to me at all. Let's talk
about some other quarterback situations, because it seems like every
week we talk to you, there's like some quarterback changes, good,
bad whatever. This one afterly not a good one. Patrick
Mahomes unfortunately done for the year after a knee injury.
Chiefs out of the playoffs now have a lot of
questions about this Kansas City team. How different do you

(38:57):
expect this Chief's offense to look next year?

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Extremely I think this will be the most extensive overhaul
the Chiefs will have in the Patrick Mahomes era. They
were already trending towards a team that knew they had
to function their offense differently. They've essentially doubled down and
tripled down on wide receivers that haven't really worked out
for the most part, and they've abandoned that running game.
And so because of that, you see Patrick Mahomes having

(39:23):
to be superhero all the time and leads to kind
of the injury that we saw from him last week.
And so I'd expect them to look vastly into running
back upgrades this offseason. They're gonna have to find a
new tight end because it sounds like we're getting closer
and closer to a Travis Kelsey retirement, and then how
do you function a little bit more on time. Seems

(39:43):
like their offense has become backyard football because of Travis
and Patrick's relationship. I think they'll have to go back
and maybe even add an additional coach in the building
to give them a little bit more structure within that offense.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
And you cover the Dolphins very closely, obviously a huge
I don't think anyone was shocked that Tua got denched.
I do think people were a little surprised that they're
going with quinn Ewers though, So what do you think
the Dolphins offense with yours at the helm will look like.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
I'm waiting to see what the results are. I saw
him in camp and there was, you know, to a
starter for a reason. It wasn't necessarily the best thing
I saw. He's a rookie, seventh round pick. I just
think that it's a smart move if you're gonna bench
to it, to see your young guy, see how he developed,
see what he can do on the field. He did
have a small spurt against Cleveland, as we're seeing here

(40:32):
laden garbage time, he played solid. He's kind of got
a gamer mantra from the coaches here. You know he
didn't always have the best practices, but when they saw
him in the preseason, when they saw him against Cleveland,
they saw him play with a different level of decisiveness.
And the decisive word is really what they're leaning on
because Tua this year just was not pulling the trigger.
He was not the accurate, the anticipation thrower. And so

(40:55):
the hope is they can function this offense a little
bit quicker with the guy who's ready to prove that
he's worthy to be an NFL.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
That being said, for a lot of fantasy folks, Darren
Waller has been a nice addition to rosters over the
last few weeks. He doesn't catch the ball a lot,
but when he does, more often than that, it seems
to be a touchdown. Do you think we'll still see
a lot of Darren Waller in the offense with Quinn Ewers.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
I think fantasy fans were hoping we waited one more
week for two because he's got a delicious matchup against
this Bengals defense that has like shredded cheese against tight ends.
I don't know a lot because we just don't have
a sample size of Quinn Eewers. Of knowing where his
target points are within the offense. I'd imagine that you
see a big six to six weapon in the red
zone and it's easy whether you're too or quinn Ewers.

(41:42):
But so much of Darren Waller's success has been low
volume red zone touches, and so it's not really predictable.
He goes through games sometimes where he doesn't have a
target for three quarters and then all of a sudden,
he gets five catches in two minutes, including a couple touchdowns.
So it's always going to be a little high risk,
and even more without Tua. But if you're in a
spot that you need the upside for a tight end,

(42:04):
Waller's been excellent for them in the red zone, and
I think he'll certainly be a target again against a
Bengals defense that can't stop a tight end from high school.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
It seems like this year, uh, speaking of can't stop
a tight end from high school, it's kind of the
opposite in Vegas. I don't know if they would score
against a high school defense. Do you think? Simple question,
do they score a touchdown against Auston this week?

Speaker 4 (42:30):
You know? Inact? In fact, in fact, I'm curious, not
that I would bet, but what the odds are on
whether the Texas defense or the Raiders offense scores more points.
You know, I wouldn't be shocked if it's a Texas defense.
I think that we're just as likely to see a
defensive touchdown than a Raiders offensive touchdown. You know that

(42:51):
if they thought the Eagles were bad last week, wait,
so they still see Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter and
Derek Stingley.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:58):
I was gonna say that maybe the Raiders could use
the fact that, you know, they play in Las Vegas
to there.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
But like, this game's in Houston.

Speaker 4 (43:06):
It's not like, you know, like there's been The Texans
are still looking up in their divisions, so they have
plenty to play for. You can't expect them to just
sleep walk. I don't know, maybe somebody falls asleep and
Brock Bowers sneaks into the end zone. I don't know.
There is just not a lot of hope with this
Raiders team.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
I mean, I was just hoping if you're the Raiders,
maybe you can, like, you know, hope that Will Anderson
is out too late at Caesars the night before or
something like that.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
But like that's just like I have it. My favorite things, oh,
go ahead, scenarios where it's like if if the Raiders,
if the Texans lose this week, this team could clinch.
It's like, come on, let's.

Speaker 4 (43:42):
Maybe when it's thirty three to nothing and you're you're
triding out there for the drive, that's the one that
touch down.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
All that's what happened.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Meanwhile, you talk about the the Texans looking up and
trying to win their division, You've got a dogfight going
on in the AFC North between these Steelers and the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
Who do you think he's up being the division.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
Because I feel like that's the only team that's going
to get the playoffs in that division. Who wins that division?
To you?

Speaker 4 (44:05):
For sure, most of the year, the answer to me
would have been the Ravens. I thought they were the
more talented team. You've got Lamar, you've got Derrick Henry,
and the Steelers that it seemed like they were combustible,
especially in that middle point of a year. But then
I saw the Steelers. I was there for Monday Night's game,
and I saw a different Steelers team than I saw
for most of the year. Even without TJ.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
Watt.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
Aaron Rodgers was balling in his pocket, Kenneth Gainwell was unleashed,
and Arthur Smith was so comfortable. He got two tight
ends rushing touchdowns, and the defense started to have a
different energy and spark. And you look at the way
the schedule is set up the Steelers. The Steelers, all
they have to do is win Week EIGHTEAM at home
and they win that division. Doesn't matter what they do

(44:45):
the next two weeks. I think the Steelers win this division.
I think they've got enough on defense. I'm still concerned
by the Ravens offense and this version of Lamar not
looking as explosive, and if you have a close defensive battle,
I just trust the Steelers defen fence and their situational
football more than I do the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
That Week eighteen game has Game two seventy two written
all over it for sure. Speaking of AFC North, where
are you going to be this week?

Speaker 4 (45:13):
I am going up to Cleveland. I have been in
Cleveland a lot more than I thought for the record
they have, but they have interesting people, including you know,
a quarterback in Shador Sanders that's trying to prove that
he can be the guy in twenty twenty six and
Miles Garrett, who is one sack away from tying the
NFL sack record. And then of course they're playing Josh
Allen and the Bills, a team that you know you

(45:35):
can't help, but look around at the AFC and see
no Chiefs, no Bengals, potentially no Ravens, and say, why
isn't this there a year? So I think a real
contender in the Bills, and then the Browns trying to
get a record and see if their quarterback can continue
to keep this job.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
All right, I mean, definitely some interesting storylines there. We
know the Cleveland Airport pretty we are familiar to Cleveland Airport.
We've never actually been in the city.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
We land, we get our bags, we get our rental car,
we drive the Canton like.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
That's kind of the whole of it for us. Absolutely, Ken,
before we let you go. Fantasy team update.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
Man, I got beat in one of my leagues.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
I was the one seed.

Speaker 4 (46:14):
I got beat by a six and eight team that
was the eight seed. The folks in my league are laughing.
They're calling me that we believe warriors. I was thirteen
and one all year and my guys didn't even play well.
I played poorly. He just had an incredible heater he
went off. I think he had Kyle Pitt starting. It's

(46:35):
kind of crazy fluke and so I just got to
tip my hat. But I'm still going in my other
league and hopefully I'll least get one title this year.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
It's all you can ask for once you're the playoffs,
sort of like anything can happen. But as long as
you keep playing, then you're good.

Speaker 4 (46:48):
I should be mandatory. I just on a three thirteen
and one team has an even shot for the six
and eight team.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
You on that one for sure.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
I just always appreciate you hanging out with us. Ask
