Speaker 1 (00:11):
Everybody. Welcome to another edition of the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
It's Me Your Man, MG. Marcus Grant, joined by Michael f.
Florio and Lakwan Jones. Welcome not just to Burgfest, but
to a supersized burg Fest.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yes, let's go talk to the bobs and they gave
us more time on this show. We might live to.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Regret it, but today, today is a day that belongs
to us.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Uh. Yeah, minutes, we get like a full hour? Yeah,
quick go quick checking? Is this color good? Normal collar
soccer jersey?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
You have no issue with that. If it was a
like a collared shirt, I'd be like, dude, how do
you play sports in that?
Speaker 3 (00:48):
This is how soccer kicks are supposed to look. Man,
But it's all good. You disrestracted a legendary run, but
it's all good.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I truly have no idea, Like, they could be the
best team ever, they could be the worst team ever.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
I have an no idea. If she comes and goes.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
This is a PSG messy jersey. By the way, so
this is support one of the goats out there.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
You know he knows. Let's go. How can you not know? Anyway?
A lot to do on the show, Today, we'll get
you ready for the fantasy trade deadline with some quarterback
and tied end schedules, plus can you trust Daniel Jones
in Kansas City this week? And Week twelve game preview sleepers,
and a whole lot more. But let's get started, as
we normally do, with some fantasy headlines and one that
(01:29):
is official now out of Cincinnati, the NFL has suspended
Bengals wide receiver Jamar Chase for one game for spitting
at Steelers safety Jalen Ramsey. So we know know Jamar Chase,
which is going to hurt a lot of fantasy managers Florida.
Does this mean it's Yoshi Vas season?
Speaker 2 (01:49):
I think Yoshivas is in play as like a deeper
option of flex option or something like that DFS. I
think he could be sneaky there, but it's probably like
I wouldn't be surprised if Tie Higgins has twenty three
targets Chase did a few weeks ago. So yeah, they're
gonna spread the ball out more. Noahfense becomes a little
bit of a sleepy to a sleeper tight end, but t.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Higgins is the main one, you know, Does this help
or hurt Chase Brown at all.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Look on now, I think he gets more involved. I mean,
obviously they're gonna need more weapons on that offense, and
he's been great in the passing game for Flacco, and
you know, he pretty Flaco going dip it off and
dump it off when he can. I mean, honestly, looking
at Chase around, I think he's a lock rest of
the season. I think we need to stop questioning his
status because he's hungry, he's running hungry, or they're not
stacking the boxes, they're letting him get more involved in
(02:37):
the offense. I think no offense could be even sneaky
this week. I mean honestly, we've seen him make flashes
in the first game with Joe Flacco. So I think
Chase Brown, T Higgins, these are all guys you shouldn't
be questioning this week.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, definitely the bitch not stacking the box, because when
it was Jake browning, I mean it was just teams
were just, you know, we're gonna load up the box,
we're gonna not let Chase Brown do a thing, and
we're gonna dare you beat us with your arm And
it just was not working out at all. Over to Pittsburgh.
Aaron Rodgers does not need left wrist surgery. He is
pushing to play this Sunday against the Chicago Bears, curious
(03:10):
to see whether or not he still has ownership of
the Bears. Maybe he's just leasing they didn't just give
it up all together. But uh lakwan. Is this good
news for DK Metcalf and the tight Ends, which, by
the way, I think DK Metcalf and the tight End
would be kind of a killer indie rock band. But anyway,
is this good news for this group that Aaron Rodgers
is there instead of Mason Rudolph.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
I'm a little worried now because we're gonna limited Aaron Rodgers,
who was already limited within the system of Arthur Smith.
Like I do think that, you know, Mason Rudolph becomes
like an interesting guy if he steps in at any point,
if there's any discomfort with Aaron Rodgers because it's his
non throwing him, but there's still gonna be issues of
gripping that ball. We don't want him fumbling the ball
and having these issues and not being able to get
(03:50):
plays off because he's injured. So I think, honestly, I
have like low expectations for a DK Metcalf at Calvinalls.
And even these tight ends are kind of like if
he trying to point which week is it gonna be,
it's a Darnold Washington pat fire move John Newsmith. Who
knows because it all remains that Arthur Smith is on
the sticks. So this offense is going to remain what
it is regardless of who the quarterback is.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
You want to hot take sure. I think Mason Rudolph
would be better for DK Metcalf than Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers
refuses to air the ball out Mason. We saw Mason
Rudolph come in last year for the Steelers and be like,
I'm just gonna chuck it downfield and it kind of works.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
It did kind of work I did a few years ago.
So yeah, I watched it. I watched the game from
this past Sunday when he took over, and it sort
of looked the same because it's.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Arthur Smith, that's why.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
And you know what's crazy that Matt Ryan was the
last quarterback that Arthur Smith had his entire season as
his quarterback, and that was in twenty twenty one. Like
you got to think about it, Mariota Riddler and then
you got Taylor Heineke Ridder, and then you got now
well last season, Russell Wilson justin fields now Aaron Rodgers,
possibly Mason Rudolph. Like the offense still remains the same.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
So here's the thing. Of all those quarterbacks you listed,
the only one that Arthur Smith had at the time
who was hashtag good was Matt Rodens. Yeah, they were.
The rest of them were either guys that were middling
at bet. You have Russell Wilson, who is on the
down side of his career. You've got Aaron Rodgers, who,
by the way, I was watching it watching Aaron Rodgers
now is not It looks like the last days of
(05:19):
Ben Roethlisberger.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Oh yeah, I don't want to say this is back thing,
but I think that's like Mason Rudolph came in last
week and they were we have a game plan, right,
Like I think if it's if they know it's him,
they'll incorporate more deep balls.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Maybe. Yeah, that's that's possible too. By the way, you
are these Steelers tight end whispered, do you have any
insight on who it could be?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
It should be? Darnel Washington for pure entertainment purposes, like,
I mean, really, though, what if you're an opposing defense,
what is your answer if he gets the ball in space?
The Bengals threw three different defenders at him, committee tackling
all three of them. Became an angry run candidate, like
it's it's rough in the same play, which is crazy,
by the way, first time ever as it's it have
(06:00):
been though, because that was the run of the year.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I mean, it was like watching grown up play with
like third graders. It really was.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
So he just was on a Monron's pod earlier today.
I saw the clip where he's three hundred and eleven
pounds running out of the offensive lineman that catches the football. Sure, no,
I'm not going high on you. I'm not going low.
Just get out the way, Like, can he run a
four to six?
Speaker 1 (06:21):
No? Okay, all right, so he can't catch you, he
can't catch me. There it is or Arizona. Marvin Harrison
Junior still dealing with that appendiciitus. He is expected to
be out this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I was
gonna direct this to you, Florida, but I guess I
have to direct it to yeah one is it? Michael
Wilson season again, or is it Greg Dortch season? Is
dorschland up and running?
Speaker 3 (06:41):
I will say this, it is Michael Wilson season, okay,
because everything that we saw last week was amazing, Like
he stepped into a wide receiver one role.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
But this isn't something that we haven't seen him do before.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
So it was good to have a quarterback back there
that's going to throw it up and give him opportunities
to make the big plays downfield.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
But yes, it is Greg Dortsch season.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
I honestly happy last week to get all the text messages,
all the dms, all the ads that Greg Dorsch scored
a touchdown, But your boy was locked into that Rams
and Seahawks game. Like, I was really stressed out how
that entire game played out, so I couldn't show my
express of my excitement for Greg Dorsch. But we're putting
him back into those flex opportunities.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Man. Wait, wait one second, I'm I'm I'm being told
that Darnel Washington ran a four sixty four.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Oh year right, he is.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Nona.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I'm going to be running a forty yard dash today
and the goal is for six seven. But there's no
way Darnold Washington's going to be catching me man. I
am dusting him for six seven and he put up
sixty seven yards last week.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Alright, Moving on to Houston, CJ. Stroud rule out for
the Thursday night football game against the Buffalo Bills as
he is still in concussion protocol. Maybe not a surprise
where a short week is going to be harder to
get him ready to go. So Davis Mills getting another
star Florio, does this impact whether or not you're starting
a Texans wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I think you could make the argument that it is
better for them. I almost made Steve Weisch's brain explode
the other day on game day preview when I was like,
maybe they got more of those soft benches down in
Houston and they need to have a conversation. He was like, no, no,
But look at Nico Collins in the last three weeks,
he's been getting the ball at a very high rate.
(08:27):
You look at Dalton Schultz, he has twenty targets in
the last two games combined. Like Davis Mills knows who
his top targets are and he is just locking in
and throwing to those guys regardless of the situation. So
I haven't downgraded these guys at all.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
With Davis Snills, I do wonder, like, do all the
backup quarterbacks around the lead do they have a text
chat where they're just like, hey man, when you get
in there, just throw it to your best guys. Right?
Speaker 2 (08:51):
They discussed it at the progressive commercials.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
That's true, right, the backup commercials. Shoot, yeah, they always
look it together. They're like, hey man, when I get
in there. Sure you know Joe Flacco got traded synth
that He's like, I'm just gonna throw it to Jamar Chase.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah, they know. I think they do know, and you
guys could tell me I'm wrong. I think they're like,
we'll keep the fantasy community happy.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
And then that's y feed the fantasy streets.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Points.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
It's easy.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I feed the fantasy streets. You get talked up on
social media. Eventually the mainstream media picks it up, and
then you know, maybe you get a small bag somewhere
along the long.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
And you're doing commercials next year. You know, I mean,
we have the power to do that.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Mis Trubisky stood next to Josh Allen for a whole
season and he got a new contract. Didn't even do that.
He just stood next to him. For most of the years,
we've got four teams on a buy this week, the Broncos,
the Chargers, the Dolphins, and the Commanders all get the
week to kick their feet up and watch football like
the rest of us, or not if they want to
go do something else. But that's a good time for
(09:45):
us to turn the page officially to the start of
week twelve. Time to check out the first to score
odds for the Bills Texans matchup on Thursday Night Football.
You're a little surprise of the two names at the top,
James Cook and josh Allen nearly identical odds there, followed
by Nico Collins and Joe Quavius Marks you know him
as Woody, followed it by Dawson Knox. So the Dawson
(10:06):
gets in there, even though the odds not particularly great. Yeah,
not great, Floria is you have a vested interest in
this game? Who do you think is the first to score?
I have a feeling I know which team they're going to.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Be from the guy who plays with a Superman cape
on half the time, Joshua Patrick Allen. Okay, but no,
because James Cook like he loses the touch to josh
Allen lady Ty Johnson and all these guys.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
All right, So Josh do you have who's your pick?
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Lakwafi Dawson Knox man going against the Odge Man. I
want Dawson Knox to find the ends on the first
over Nico Collins, over Wood he marks because last week
was disappointing when he got his opportunity, really step up
with no Donkink But sixteen hundred is to Dodge.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Why not? I think he smashes it. You just enjoy
being an agent of chaos.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Yes, mister RB three.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
I mean I guess for Florida, didn't matter. If it's
Dawson Knox, that means his team scored the touchdown first.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
So whatever, Just know we'll be in the text Chaine.
If Dawson Knox scores the first touchdown, sure, why not?
Speaker 1 (11:01):
I was getting a little bit deeper into this game.
Of course, you can see that on Prime Video eight
fifteen pm Eastern Time. Florio, Is there a Bill you
feel confident starting besides Joshua, Patrick Allen and Jimbo Cook.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Nope, I think all of them could be sis. Last week,
not a single Bills receiver played more than fifty three
percent of the snaps, and none had more than five targets.
Shakira is the one that you think you could be, like,
all right, he's reliable, he is averaging. I think it
is the second lowest area ards per target of all
wide receivers. He had a negative three are like they
have just made him a bubble screen merchant in this offense.
(11:37):
My hot take on Fantasy Live was that four different
pass catchers for the Bills score a touchdown in this one.
But if I'm wrong and it's like two like every
other quarterback has done against this Texans defense, good luck
figuring out which two it is because they rotate so
much like Bills fans. Right now, we're just trying to
figure out who is going to be the active receivers
on game day. We've reached that point, let alone who
(11:59):
is going to be the top target getter. So yeah,
I think it's just those two and that's it.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
We will see key On Coleman this week. Right, he's
going to show up to meetings and everything.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I mean, you would hope. It's the third time he's
been late this year, Like, I don't know. They also
asked him if they thought it was a learning opportunity
and he said no, So like, hey, you know what
you want to hear.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
He's man, he's cooked. We were all rooting for you,
Like what's going on here? Man. By the way, Dalton
Kincaid has been ruled out for this week, so the
Dawson is going to be, in theory, the primary tight
end target in this offense unless I will come Spencer Hawes.
But that's not right, is it? No? Okay, I don't know. Wait, no,
(12:42):
you're confusing me now, I know, right, I feel like
Spencer Hawes. Isn't he an NBA player? I don't Yes,
yes he is. That's why I was like, yeah, I
don't know, but you know he's gonna be the guy
that catches the touchdow when everybody starts Dawson Knox. That's
what's going to happen for sure. On the other side
of this one, Lakwan, you saw Woody marks on the
odds to score a touchdown for score the first touchdown.
(13:04):
The Bill's run defense has been problematic for at least
if you're a Bills fan this year, would you consider
starting Nick Chubb? Say? If you're in a deep league.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
In deeper leagues, more wounded teams speaking to them solely.
Nick Chubb is not bulling his way into starting lineups
because usage will be a huge red flag here. He
has eight carries in the last two games, and we
already see the posturing and notion that Woody Marks is
the guy. But being that it's the Bills run defense,
I think you could kind of paint a picture where
(13:35):
you can get some fantasy points from Nick Chubb, because
again he's a guy that's an effective runner over four
yards per carry. But looking at this Bill's defense, they
gave up Rashad White, who hit over four yards per
carry for the first time since week two. So I
do think if you have your expectations in order when
it comes to Nick Chubb, I don't see him putting
up by anything over flex opportunities right now.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
I mean, I think that's about right. I think the
frustrating part for a lot of us with Chubb is
that he just keeps taking opportunities away from.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
What he marks.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah, I mean we hope that what he Look here's
the thing too, here's the thing. What he marks in
opportunities where he has the matchup has not delivered whatsoever.
It's been a over like under the radar type of
thing that's just getting overlooked, and it's annoying to tell people, like, hey,
fantasy streets, what he marks smash this week, and then
he goes out there and does nothing. I will say,
I think even in his five to one forty shape,
(14:25):
LQ can go. I said a fantasy a lot today.
I said, if LQ can run a four six forty,
he can run for one hundred yards against the Bills.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
TI, let's do it all right? And I think it
was probably a bigger conversation to be had about Nick
Chubb what he marks all those guys at the end
of the season. And as much as I want to
see what he mark, succeed fight on forever, don't don't,
don't stop. I think I don't think he's been really
efficient necessarily. I think he's sort of winning on volume
(14:53):
mostly when he gets it. I think there's a conversation
we had about his efficiency, and I don't know what
that means for him next year if the Texans decide
to revamp their running back room. Who knows. We'll find
out when we come back. We're talking to some trade candidates.
We're looking at the best playoff schedules for quarterbacks and
tight ends and the worst playoff schedules for those positions
as well. We'll tell us tell you who we like,
maybe who we don't like. They're all coming up next
(15:15):
on the NFL Fantasy Football Show. The trade deadline in
standard NFL dot Com leagues hits on Friday, November twenty first,
So to that end, you got a couple days left
to get those trade offers out there and try to
make some swaps. So we're gonna try to help you out.
We're gonna look at the best and worst fantasy playoff
(15:35):
schedules for the quarterback and the tight end position. We'll
get to running backs and wide receivers a little bit
later in the week to try to help you out
there as well. So let's start with qbs. You're looking
at some of the best schedules there. You got to
a tongue of Ila, JJ McCarthy, Lamar Jackson, the Commander's QB,
whoever it may be, Je Daniels, Marcus Mariota, whomever it's
going to be. Arizona's Kobe were set down there in Arizona,
(15:57):
and then brock Perty in San Francisco. Those are the best,
the worst. Patrick Mahomes actually has one of the worst
schedules there.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
CJ.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Stroud, Jordan Love, Bryce Young, and Josh Allen, who also
has not a great Fantasy playoff schedule. But any one
of those guys, Lakwan that really jumps out to you,
good or bad, particularly.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
Like there's a lot of guys on this list that
have a good schedule, But I'm looking for stability, and
like some of these guys, I don't get that with
other than Jacoby Brissett, because honestly, my guy has been
balling two touchdowns in each of his last five Stars.
My guy's averaging more than nineteen Fantasy points per game
in each of those games. So looking what Jacoby Brissette
has been doing is like he's been changing the makeup
and identity of this Cardinals offense and getting guys elevated
(16:40):
to new heights. Look at Trey McBride finding the end
zone more often than not, So acquiring him to your
roster before the trade deadline, it brings stability if you're
a rostering a Jaden Daniels or Joe Burrow, like all
these guys that just been underperforming, like a CJ. Stroud,
If you went out there and drafted a Trevor mid Lawrence,
Like I think getting Jacoby Brissett with this sweet matchup
the playoffs just gives you just having a good quarterback
(17:03):
that can hit those highs at qb ones and you
sleep better at night knowing you've got stability at the position.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
I mean, especially if he's gonna throw the ball forty
seven time, well, complete forty seven passes. I'm saying complete
forty seven passes. He threw it way more than.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Forty and they lost that game.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
But like geez, if he can make that type of
like as the bar, like the ceiling of what he
can do, keep going, keep trucking.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Perfect fantasy storm for him because they are often trailing
and they cannot run the ball, so they just like
air it out to Koby.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
And then they're a championship. You get the Bengals, like
train McBride's about to go bonkers, like, oh my god,
trade for him aggressively.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
But I can't wait for the number of people who
have stories of like I want a championship with Jakobe
that quarter I can't wait it's going to happen, Like
it's going to be a thing that absolutely happens this year,
Uh Florio, who are you eyeing? Particularly?
Speaker 2 (17:50):
I love Bersett and you had picked already at the
time I got to the homework, So we were all
racing to the dock.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
By the way, like a rare time, we were all.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
In the dock at the same time. I knew if
I didn't pick brock Party, we weren't talking about him
here because he's not He's not gonna talk him up.
But brock Pardy looked good the other day. He was back,
he was running. I was impressed by that. And then
you look at this fantasy playoff schedule. The Titans, they
can't create pressure, they can't get after the quarterback. Party
should be able to have a lot of success there.
(18:19):
The Colts that is looking like a little bit of
a tougher matchup now that they've made these trades, but
it could be a game that is higher scoring. The
forty nine ers are chasing points and then the Bears.
Like the Bears might be seven to three, but they
are a really favorable matchup in fantasy for quarterbacks and
running backs. So I do like getting In fact, I
picked up Brock Party in a number of leagues last
(18:41):
week because rightfully so, people threw him back on the
waiver wire, and everyone kind of no one believed Kyle Shanahan.
I think that Purdy was actually gonna play, so he
was easy to get off the waivers. But I'm so
happy I did because he would be a lot harder
to get now after seeing him look like Brock Purdy again.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Well, one people didn't believe because as our puse if
your freedom likes to say, Kyle Shanahan is a lying
liar who lies. Yeah, he's very much not forthcoming with
injury reports and that sort of thing. The other part
of the Brock Purty story right now is that the
Niner offense is about as healthy as it's been all
season long. Ricky Piersall is back, you know, Kittle came
back a couple of weeks ago. Christian McCaffrey, knock On
(19:18):
Wood is still healthy right now. I have thought so
it is. I know you do. You can keep them
to yourself yourself, So right now, I mean, this offense
looks the way I think everybody envisioned it at the
start of the season, so that certainly helps a lot,
you know. Look shout out to mag Jones for keeping
the team afloat while while things were bad all around them.
(19:41):
It's wild to think to a tongue of Iloa could
be the guy to help lead you to a fantasy championship.
Not words I thought we'd be saying after September, when
this offense was bad, when Tua was out there letting
his intrusive thoughts look leak out onto the microphone during
his postgame press conferences. But now they're starting to play
better ball. They've got a good match if you see
(20:03):
that Steelers Bengals Buccaneers the Bucks may be the toughest
of that matchup there, but still one where he could
possibly thrive. I'm I just all of a sudden, even
with no Tyreek Hill, Jalen Wattle is starting to get involved.
They're gonna get Darren Waller back at some point, who's
a big red zone opportunity for them.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Malique Washington is starting to be a part of this
passing game, so they're finding ways to get things done.
And two, as a he can succeed in good matchups.
He's got some good matchups coming up. Side note to
all of this maybe not necessarily fantasy related. If you
look at the Dolphins schedule, it's pretty easy the rest
of the way. There's a chance they could finish at
(20:42):
ten and seven, and then they have to decide whether
or not they want Mike McDaniel back for another ring.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
To your point, though, Marcus in like a super flex league.
I'm in where I'm streaming my second quarterback. I used
two well last week and I almost dropped him, and
then I was like, no, wait, his schedule is amazing.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Right, really really good, and so like it's gonna be funny.
It's after the dumpster fire that was the early part
of the season. They finished, might get in the play
might get in the playoffs, and then you're like, we
really can't fire Mike McDaniel, Like you got to hang
on to him front of that.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
That means they would beat the Patriots too, the Bills
would win. I'm on board.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
I'm in now. I vote to tight end. They go
to some of the best and worst playoff schedules there.
On the good side, Mark Andrews, you got Tyler Warren,
who's already have an amazing season. You got the Lions
tight end hopefully by then fingers crossed, Sam Laporta is back,
and then Kyle Pitts, everybody's favorite tight end or not.
On the down side of things, we mentioned Patrick Mahomes,
(21:39):
a bad schedule for quarterbacks, Travis Kelcey accordingly a pretty
poor schedule for the tight end position, Rock Bowers, and
then Dallas Goddard. But it's Godard Lacon that seems to
have cut your attention here.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Yeah, I think he's an easy like target to like
get off of your roster and you could paint this
beautiful picture like, hey, he's leading the leadgan touchdowns. Hey,
he's been a top ten tight end four games this season,
but my boy is averaging thirty nine receiving yards per game.
Right if you look at the red flags, he's not
getting much after to catch. We're not getting design plays
that we were getting earlier in the season. So constant
(22:15):
declined in these last couple of weeks, where hey, he
has the rankings, he has the makeup. They'd be like, hey, man,
look I got this tight end for you bro get
him out of here because his schedule is terrible, and
I honestly think you can place him as an add
on and a lot of trade package just to make
your roster better. So I think, honestly, just painting that
beautiful picture for your league mate, whisper in their ear,
be a little Misfitstoll, you know, be a little snake
(22:36):
and get him off of your roster now to require
pieces that will help your roster.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
I do think there's an element of and I said
this about Xavier Worthy. People love the idea of Dallas
Godder more than the reality of Dallas Godder.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Someone of my home league's been trying to trade him
for like a month, and no one like it's crickets,
like one him asking.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Because they know, like my boy's cracked what forty five
yards only once season? Like this is a guy that
was averaging fifty yards for a game last season, Like
where is that guy? Like he's just a guy that's
running cardio most games now.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Well, he also because he had the one game where
they have two or three touchdowns in a game this year,
But he also had a couple of those short shovel passes.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Those are design plays. Where did they go?
Speaker 1 (23:18):
They are? Yeah, So you know, unless he's getting those regularly,
it is. It's it's also to.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Worry about a J. Brown crushing out weekly and then
then being like, all right, we'll give you all the
targets as a good game for him last week.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
I mean like it kind of followed the crash out
and we got some production, right.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
I do enjoy how the crash out happens. And then
the first couple of series they give aj Brown what
I call the stf U target. Ye here man, all right,
we have now and then we go on about the
rest of our game. Yeah, uh, Florida. Who's a tight
hand that you're here eyeing? Here?
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Tyler Warren. I would try very hard to get Tyler,
Like in a lot of my leagues, He's already on
my ross. There's so no one is going to get him.
But if for some reason you can get him, I
think you absolutely should. I know he had two down
games by his standard, but then he bounced back with
eighteen Fantasy points in almost eight hundred yards. That was
a season high ninety nine yards by the way. But
(24:15):
I think he has a big game this week, so
the window maybe he is starting to close. But then
he gets the Seahawks, their biggest weaknesses against tight ends.
He gets to forty nine ers, their biggest defenses against
well anyone in the passing game. And then the Jaguars,
who are also a favorable matchup as well, and the
Colts are going to be playing for potentially the one
seed stuff like that, there's incentive there. But yeah, I
(24:39):
think post like he has been the tight end four
and he might now just be getting the post by
bump that so many rookies get. Just like we were
saying coming into the year, the only three tight ends
I would rather have are McBride, Kittle, and there's a
third Rockestimers, But even Bauers is like, I don't know,
I think.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
I'd rather war I think you probably rather have Warren.
He's worth paying up for. Yeah, because I decided early
in the season, like maybe after week one or two,
I'm like, he could lead the team in targets. Yeah,
I don't know if he gets there necessarily, but it's
gonna be neck and neck with him and Michael Pittman.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
For a But you know what it is though, Like
as somebody like me who rosters Trade McBride and Tyler Warren,
I've been running both of them, you know, all season long.
I might be interested right before the deadline to let
Tyler Warren go to strengthen another position. So I do
think like some folks me out there and like try
to be like making moves before the deadline, because again,
I mean Tyler Warren in the summer's ADP was kind
(25:36):
of disrespected, to be honest, because there was such a
huge campaign of like, Daniel Jones sucks, but this guy
right here tows you to draft Daniel Jones and then
he's gonna be great. So I think Tyler Warren right now,
you could wiggle and try to get him before the
deadline for a lot of ross.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
I like Tyler Wernon. I loved him at his draft price.
He's like tight end four in the summer, like them
at his draft price.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
But again I grabbed him in like the eighth round
with already taken the early round with McBrien. So there's
rosters out there that's been running this two men for
a lot a lot of the season.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
For the record, he's three targets behind Michael Pittman for
the team lead. So it's it's very much in the
works there possibly for him. I'm looking at brock Bowers
and I don't care that he has a bad playoff schedule.
Have you seen the Raiders? Like yeah, also they throwing
it too right, I mean, look, they're trying to make
it work. With Tyler Lockett, who I think is pretty
much just eyeing land deals in Las Vegas right now.
(26:26):
Trey Tucker gets some occasional targets. They can't run the football.
Aushton Gent is getting locked up in the backfield because
the offensive line is terrible. I don't care what the
matchups say. Brock Bowers is gonna get eight to ten
targets a game because he has to, Like, there's no
other option there for the Raiders. There's no other option
for Chip Kelly and Gino Smith in that passing game.
(26:46):
So yeah, I get it, And maybe that's the selling point.
If you're trying to get Brock Bauers off of somebody
else's roster, you're like, hey man, the Raiders' offense stinks,
the matchups are bad. You don't want this on your roster.
He's gonna sink you don't. I mean, like, hopefully they
fall for it, because the reality is, I know it's
not good process to come out with the well, somebody's
(27:07):
got to get the targets, right, But in this case,
somebody's got to get the targets, and that somebody's brought
Bauers in Las Vegas. So I don't care what the
schedule says. I want brock Bauers on my roster. There
you go. We'll get to some other positions a little
bit later on in the week, but to keep making
those offers. Strake deadline coming right around the corner. Time
for a quick break.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Will be right back with our.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Game previews after this time.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Now to get back to our week twelve preview.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Some interesting ones. We mentioned the Indianapolis Colts and they're
heading to Kansas City to do take on the Chiefs.
ELQ is Daniel Jones worth starting this week.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
I think Danie Jones to get the Chiefs. He can
get it done because they're the new bullies at the AFC,
and I think this is a game that you see
Daniel Jones getting. Michael Pittman, Tyler Warren, JT's there, so
I think he has the firepower to put up decent
QB one numbers this week.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I have him as a sit this week.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Personally, you hate Dane Jones. That's why it's just the
Chiefs defense is really tough. Look, I know that defense
is tough, but Daia Jones has been overachieving all season.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Long, which usually regresses.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
I think that's That's the fear, right, is that we've
seen him play so well and like, does the other
shoe drop? Now? Man, you gotta have confidence again. It
was kind of mid against Atlanta a couple of weeks ago,
heat Pittsburgh. Three picks against Pittsburgh, So.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
We're just gonna kick him back in bro Come on,
I just fear if he was playing a different team,
But I fear spags and that in a must win
game in Kansas season.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Because at this point they're pretty much all must wins
from the Chiefs the rest of the way. So uh,
that is not particularly exciting for for Daniel Jones and
everybody else. Look at the other side of this matchup, though, Florio,
how many Chiefs are you comfortable starting against the Colts.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
You're playing Mahomes, You're playing Rashid Rice, and to me,
those are the only must starts. You're probably playing Travis
Kelce because of tight end and injuries and buys and
stuff like that. But the Colts have been really tough
against tight ends and then like the Colts have struggled
against the run. But I don't feel great about playing
Kareem Hunt, especially if Pacheco is back. We have to
see what his status is going to be. But if
(29:14):
it is Kareem Hunt RB one again, I think he
comes into play as like a flex option, but that's
his ceiling because if he doesn't score a touchdown, we're
talking about single digit fantasy points.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
The Chiefs running game has been brutal this year. Where
is it? Are they in the room with us right now?
It's just been bad. I guess the good news for
Kansas City is that Patrick Mahomes is no longer their
leading rusher. Yeah, the bad news is that he's only
nine yards behind Kareem Hunt. Like if they have Pacheco
(29:46):
leads with three hundred and twenty nine yards.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
He hasn't played in a month, hasn't played in a month.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Kareem Hunt is second, and that Patrick Mahomes is nine
yards behind Kareem Hunt.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
So their only good run play is the Kareem one,
which is an awesome name with a terrible play.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
So that's where we are with the Chiefs run game.
But we'll see what happens this week against Indianapolis.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
More Week twelve previews, though interesting one in the NFC North,
the Vikings at the Packers and Floryda.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
I have to ask you this question. I didn't think
I would. Is Justin Jefferson still a wide receiver one
in the year of our Fantasy Lord twenty twenty five?
Speaker 2 (30:23):
I think so, And in fact it didn't work out
for me. But I was trying really hard to buy
low on Justin Jefferson last week. Look, I get it,
JJ McCarthy nine, whatever you want to call him. He's
not playing well. You know it's bad when teams are
being like, well, look at Josh Allen's first five career games.
Like anytime someone says that about a quarterback, you know
things are not going well. But take a look at
(30:46):
the Vikings schedule right like, especially in the fantasy playoffs.
So they get the Packers this week, then the Seahawks.
Those are so so matchups. The Commanders, the Cowboys, the Giants,
and the Lions is how he ends the fantasy season.
We're talking about three top five matchups there for wide
receivers and then the Lions, which could be a shootout.
(31:07):
So I know things have been bad for Justin Jefferson.
He's not going to live up to where you drafted him.
I don't care about any of that. If I trade
for him now, I'm going to buy in on what
might be the best wide receiver talent in the world
in this schedule like that, and he's so naturally maybe
it doesn't hapen till last year, but touchdown regression is real,
and he is the most obvious touchdown regression candidate.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
I do think the one thing we've learned is that
even Justin Jefferson is not quarterback proof. I think that
because that's the way we thought last year. We're like, oh,
Sam Donald, he's still eight, right, Like, so maybe it's
just that Sam Donald's better than JJ McCarthy at least
at least a mile, at least at this stage in
their career, a mile like.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
That's why I'm worried about Justin though, Like I hear
the schedule, but then when I look at the quarterback
play of what's going to be delivering for this schedule,
I don't think he can even go out there and
make Justin Jefferson look good against the Commanders. And that
is a low bar. My boy has the worst completion
percentage against zero pressure. That means nobody is in his face.
That means he's back there just throwing those picks and
(32:07):
doing whatever he wants turning the ball over, which leads
to less fantasy points and opportunities for Justin Jefferson. So
I think if he gets this under control of the
turnovers and just throwing the chucket ball for Justin Jefferson,
he's down there somewhere. I don't see much of Justin
Jefferson even touching my lineup. If I'm going to have
this instability, like, let's be serious.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Well, you're got starting Justin jomsorry.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
This is Jamar Chase two point zero, hey, and we
almost cashed in that one week with Elron Man.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
I'm starting.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
I'm just saying I get like you have to start him,
But at the end of the day, it's like we're
in the Fantasy playoffs. If I have an absolute need
and we're in the first round in the playoffs and
I get two games back to back with JJ McCarthy
holding and capping him down in ceilings, I'm not getting
any type of like leeway here of saying like, oh,
I feel confident with Justin Jefferson even in a layup matchup,
(32:58):
because we've seen JJ in these lay up matchups sink
the ship. Yeah, and then Justin Suffers. I'm just adjusting
my expectations. But I'm just I can't ever put him
on my bench.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
If you trade for him now you don't like as
your three or.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
Your flax, I would agree trading for me because he's low.
You're not shipping an arm and a leg in your
ear to go get.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
Justin Jefferson two about being quarterback proof like he produced
with Nick Mullens, he produced with the past or not,
like it's still very possible he could get it going.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
With JJ McCard. I forgot about those games. That was
kind of amazing. Look on real quick Jordan Love starter
set this.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Week for I would say start because this is a
true test this week of if he is going to
be able to take over this game again with the
weapons that with Christian watching back and being at Christian
Watson right now second in the league behind Alec Pierce
with nineteen point five yards per perception, like that is
stretching the field. Romeo Dobbs is now starting to get
utilized the same way downfield. So there's headaches they got
(33:52):
to deal with. But Jordan Love has been great against
the blitz. We know the Vikings are the number one
blitz defense, so last time they were home and they
faced the Vikings last season put up twenty fantasy points
and four touchdowns. So I think Jordan loves to start
this week confidently.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
All right, I don't. I don't know if I ever feel
confident about Jordan Love. Like I just look at him.
I'm like, he's kind of mid and I feel like
I feel like a lot of folks on social media
are trying to like create a narrative that Jordan Love
is like this great thing, and I think he just.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
I will admit I had a lot of paus writing it,
like could he go? He's been good against the Blitz
this year, the Vikings Blitz heavy, but there's been like
three good fantasy games this year.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
The rest is just like it's fine. He's just fine.
Moving on Steelers and Bears. We talked about Aaron Rodgers.
He is pushing to play against Chicago Florio. Jalen Warren
is expected to play. Would you start him against the Bears?
Speaker 2 (34:42):
I will start whoever the Steelers starting running back is.
So if it's Warren, yes, If it's Kenny gainwell, I'll
go with him. Because the Bears have struggled, like they
they're towards the top of the league and have been
all year in yards before contact, and that is something
that I look at a lot because the running back
doesn't really have to do much then to get those yardage,
he's just picking up with the defenses giving him, and
(35:04):
then after that he has to create more. So the
more space you can give before you get any contact,
the more It shouldn't mean good things for the running backs.
Plus both of these guys, obviously, I think best case
scenario is probably just being gainwell, but they're both able
to be utilized in the passing game as well. The
only issue has been game well has been taking a
lot of those targets away.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
From more on the other side, where you at on
Dj Moore right now, we are cooked.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
We are so cooked because he is not the main
priority in this Bears offense, like the second priority, like
bro like the last four games Coast to Loveland has
led the team in yards catches, like it's been more
formed to like let's get the young guys involved, like
DJ Moore is competing with backup dancers and rookies right
now for snaps because like the last four games, his
target share has decreased each and every single week, and
(35:51):
these are games that are close that Caleb's going down
to the wire and DJ Moore is not even being
looked at as a wide receiver too. Right now in
terms of usage.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Backup dancers is crazy like TUPAC with Digital Underground, Like,
what are we doing backup dancers? Oh my god, Patriots
at the Bengals, we already know there's no Jamar Chase
for this one. He will be serving his one game
suspension this week. I'm fial Remindre Stevenson expected back at
(36:23):
practice after missing the last couple of games. Does that
worry you for Treveon Henderson.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Nope, absolutely not. Look, I'm I'm a believer that talent
should win out right, and Ramandre Stevenson was averaging three
point three I believe it was yards per carry before
he got hurt. That's only better than Zach Scharbona. Meanwhile,
in the last three games, Henderson is top five and
rushing touchdowns, rushing yards, yards after contact, yards over expectation. Basically,
(36:53):
he's been tremendous. He gives your running game a shot
in the arm, like an explosiveness that they have not
had all year. And even if Rabel likes to play
these games, with Stevenson back this week, it is the
Bengals who allowed the most yards and fantasy points two
running backs. I'm starting Trevion without even thinking twice this week.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Can we get this memo to Sean Payton about that?
Speaker 3 (37:17):
Yeah, right, he hates fantasy I'm solely convinced I said
this earlier in the week. He is a fan of
the pond. He listens to us to say, Sean, do
the right thing, and he will do the exact opposite,
because it doesn't make sense of RJ. He's not even
on the dock right now, and we're talking to r J.
Harvey like he did not get the usage at JK
domin Scott.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
So in that case, Sean, I think you should load
up Julia McLoughlin with no stop, absolutely loaded, Give Tyler Badey,
maybe get Adric Estimate back, get him some touches. He's
not doing anything.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
No stop, stop, man, we're doing too much.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
Look on. So the Bengals pretty much out of contention
because they went into last week feeling that they had
to sort of went out to give themselves a shot
at the playoffs. That's obviously not going to happen now
with no Jamar Chase, their chances of winning this week
get even smaller than they already were. Do we see
Joe Burrow again this year? Like I think we do,
but like will it be useful for fantasy? Is what
(38:13):
I'm thinking?
Speaker 3 (38:14):
Like, what is really the difference between Joe Flacco and
Joe Burrow right now? Elevating T Higgins, elevating Jamar Chase
because Flacco has been great in the position, but Joe
Burry coming back with the turf toe, like I do
think that he will be slowly eased in. I mean,
look you coming back, but possibly against the Bills. I
think that's going to be playoff atmosphere.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
But again, like.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
How useful and valuable will he be in fantasy if
he's going to be limited in play Like I want
to see Joe Burrow out there moving in the pocket.
I want to see Joe Burrow escaping the pocket, getting upfield,
which includes like his sneaky you know, mobility. So I
do think time off there may be some russ But
I don't know if I feel confidence as a fantasy
manager if we do see him this season to be
(38:53):
putting him in starting lineups when it absolutely matters.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
So then Florio. If you are holding onto Joe Burrow
even in an IR spot, is it time to let go?
I'm asking for me.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
No, I don't think so at all, because while it
might make sense, like and everything we're saying makes a
lot of sense to be like, why would you risk
it and stuff? Right now in Bengals Land, it sounds
like they are targeting Thanksgiving evening as his return, and
like you, one schedule isn't the worst. It's actually a
very favorable schedule moving forward. But even if like we
might disagree with it, because I agree with everything else
(39:24):
Q just said, if he's out there, I think he
could easily put up numbers, be a QB one top
five like we were drafting him.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
As I just I mean, I probably should just drop
him on that team because that team's not going anywhere anyways.
The point like, like like Joe Burrow con be back,
it's not gonna somehow save that roster at this point,
so maybe I should just move on for that reason.
But part of me is just like I let go.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Me and Kendall Bills fans were we were talking about
how the Patriots are gonna get the Bengals this week.
We know Burrow and Chase and the Bills might get
them in Joe Burrow's first games. It's just working out
for that team in New England.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Man. You know, it's it's so good for them because
you know, Patriots fans have never had any success, They've
never had anything the root for, So I'm glad they're
finally getting something going their way. Awesome. All right, it's
time to see who will deliver. Presented by Uber Eats,
we're giving you our top sleepers for the week.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
Start us off, l Q, I'm going deep in the bag.
This is a huge snore. Likes Keaton Mitchell for the
Ravens Now. I know Justice Hill is looking the trend
back to be practicing and possibly playing this week. But
Mitchell has been getting nothing but praise from the coaching staff,
and we see that he has the juice. He has
the Jets and we've seen them struggle against explosive backs.
I know we all remember his rookie year, Like my
(40:40):
guy was out there at eight point four yards per carry.
He put up one hundred and thirty eight yards against
the Seahawks in that game. His rookie year in twenty
twenty three. So we've seen the ceiling of given opportunity.
The matchup is there, and we've seen Derrick Henry kind
of on the decline, but they're both match at five
point two yards per carry in the last three games.
They're seeing Mitchell being more involved in the past game
with Justice Hill out as well, so there's no way
(41:02):
they're going to avoid having the juice that he has
running outside in an outside scheme, which is the Jets
defense biggest weakest point.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
You sort of touchdown a little bit when you were talking.
I'm not going to say Derrick Henry is washed, Like
I think that's a that's a bridge now, yea, yeah,
but it does seem like the end. We're closer to
the end than the beginning.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Yeah, the client is there and Mitchell doesn't need much touches.
Like again, that game I talked about, he only had
nine carries.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
In that game. He put up one hundred and thirty eight.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
So it's like watching that game is like, oh, this
guy has juice in him, so unleash them.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
I don't know if i've you know, what's to start him,
but I've added him on a lot of my benches
because if anything happens to Henry.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
He's an RB one, absolutely an RB one here, all right.
I see who you listed as your sleeper Florio, and
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm just gonna have
to watch the Kuan's faces. You talk about this right now.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Bryce Young, who look, I know he's not playing the Falcons,
and that seemingly is when he goes off for fantasy purposes,
but he is coming off of a career a franchise day.
But more than anything, it's the matchup. I'm sorry, Marcus. Yes,
the forty nine ers second in yards allowed, fourth and
touchdown passing touchdowns allowed to quarterbacks. Six of the last
(42:11):
seven quarterbacks who face them have scored over nineteen fantasy points.
The exception was Michael Pennix. And then they generate pressure
at the lowest rate in the NFL, so Bryce Young
should have time to throw. I mean, Jacoby Brissette was
reading books back there last week, and then he also
could use his legs, which is a sneak like we
haven't seen him run as much as we were hoping
(42:31):
for this year. But I do think that is on
on the in the cards this week because the forty
nine ers just cannot get after quarterbacks.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
No, let pick. I mean, you're absolutely right. No, they
absolutely can't. It's been a problem pretty much since Nick
Moosa went down, and then obviously losing Fred Warner has
really hurt that. They've tried to make some trades, but
it hasn't really jumped started the pass rush at this point.
What maturity is knowing your team's weaknesses and being able
(43:01):
to actually express them. But the Rams have no one
without flying into a rage on our weaknesses ourselves that
we constantly do. We again, Matthew Stafford can't fail. He
can only be failed. That's the way it works. So yeah, no,
I mean I think it's it's certainly worthwhile.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
Let's go bright light him up.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
My sleeper this week is Colston Loveland. And you talked
about DJ Moore and the fact that he's kind of
running behind Colston Loveland right now, I get it right.
We were all disappointed because Ben Johnson took him over
Tyler Warren, so we were like, there must be something there,
there must be a reason, and he didn't give us
much early, right, But if you really look at his arc,
it follows a lot of rookie tight ends. It's just
(43:43):
that Tyler Warren came out like Gangbusters and we were
all like, why can't you do that? But Colston Lovelin
is developing and he's starting to see more opportunity. Certainly
we've seen the post by bump for him as well.
Since week seven, Coastal loven is the tight end six,
he's the tight end eight in fantasy points per game.
He's ahead of Tyler Warren in both of those categories
(44:06):
since week seven, So we is starting to play some
better football. The Bears are starting to integrate him more
into the offense as well. On top of that, these
Steelers bad against the tight end position, so there's still
plenty of reason to get excited about Colston Lovelin. Okay,
maybe it's not going to turn out the way Tyler
Warren's rookie season is going to turn out, but he's
given you some production and if you stuck with him,
(44:28):
or if you somehow found him on the waiver wire,
it's starting to pay some dividends for you. So there
you go. Things are getting better. Maybe sometimes we should
just be patient. That was Who Will Deliver, presented by
Uber Eats, where you can get the best deals on
game day food all season long. The official on demand
delivery partner of the NFL Order. Now that is it,
We are done. We appreciate you hanging out with the
(44:50):
