Speaker 1 (00:02):
Yeah, what's up everybody. Welcome to another edition of the
NFL Fantasy Football Show. It's me your Man, MG Marcus
Grand joined by Michael Liflorio and Lakwan Jones.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Then it's another burg fest. We've made it.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
It always makes me think of breakfast.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah, what'd you eat this morning?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
H gruanola and yogurt.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
It wasn't turkey, It wasn't colli greens, macaroni and cheese.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
It's it's frozen.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
He was calling you out on the internet.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
All right, I care not, can never take it out
of man like I have half a turkey carcass frozen.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
It's gonna be made for soup later. It's gonna be delicious.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Throw it away. It's like six seven day and mean
to do that, don't. I didn't mean to do that
set up, but it's been like six seven days since
folks have prepared.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
That's why it's given a freezer.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Oh just cook it again if you want it again,
Just don't.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Why would I cook a whole turkey?
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Why not on Christmas? Turkey Ham Christmas? I mean that's
not options coming up.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
You better Chinese food on Christmas? I go Italian man.
I got to yourself. I like this guy. He eats
well because.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
We don't really plan to go anywhere. We just order
a couple of days with the Chinese food and we
just stay in the house.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
That's not Christmas. No, Why isn't it? Why are you
eating Chinese food on Christmas for three days?
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Is it left over? Twenty three days? Is what got me?
Is it leftover Chinese food?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Because I own a refrigerator in a microwave. It's fine anyway,
All right, lock Pole on the show today, we are
hitting the Thursday and Sunday slates for week fourteen. Will
also give you some streaming options. A kicker and defense, Yes,
kicker and defense. Plus we've got sleepers and I'm look
at what I'm calling the Jackson Dart problem. But let's
get started, as we always do about this time, with
some fantasy headlines, and we will begin down in Tampa
(01:47):
where the Bucks have opened the practice window for Mike
Evans to return that he's got twenty one days to
be activated, otherwise he goes on the pup list for
the remainder of the season. He is coming back or
attempting to come back from broken classical that he suffered
early in the year.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
So Lakwan, I will ask you.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
If Big Mike Evans is back on the field, one,
is he a stash and too, would you be willing
to start him in his first game back?
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Yes, reinforcements coming back for some fantasy managers. I think
this brings stability to the Bucks offense. Honestly, I mean
we might get a Meccha Abuka gets stabilizing it back
to being a flex or wide receiver two tier. I
think Mike Evans, Baker Mayfield, that's a connection that elevates
this Bucks offense. So I'm excited to get him back
right before the Fantasy playoffs. But if he's up and
at him, he's going to starting lineups.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah, I mean, obviously him coming back is a big deal.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I also love it.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
You sort of hinted on it what it means for
a Mecca Abuka, who was hot at the beginning of
the year. The last few weeks have not been so
great for him in fantasy. You know, look, he's drawing
a lot of attention. Chris Godwin has been kind of
nah though, what.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Do we expect though? We putting that much pressure on
a rookie like it was great in the beginning the season.
But you know I'm not going to throw a whole
team on his back.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
I don't. I don't know, no, right no, not right now.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
But having Mike Evans means that he's gonna get coverage
rolling his way and hopefully open some things up for
a book. Hopefully that's all well I'm saying. Meanwhile, Jackson Dart,
Jackson Dart, I am begging you. I am imploring you,
just as a fan of football and as a fan
of somebody who wants to see you stay healthy.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Please get out of my ounce. Please.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Slide took a couple of big hits on Monday Night
against the Patriots, said afterwards that he will not change
his playing style.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Says big hits, quote are just part of the game.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Okay, sure, Florio, I know you were a big Jackson
Dart supporter pretty much from the beginning. Should we reevaluate
sort of how we look at Jackson Dart in fantasy
if he's going to continue to play a style it
so far has had him in concussion protocol multiple times
already this year.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
I'm not And in fact, if anyone is, and you're
in my leagues, please trade him to me, because look,
I do think a change needs to be made, but
it's a very minor one. Like if he came out
and said I'm going to start running a lot less,
I would have been a lot more worried. I want
Jackson Dart running. The thing is just slide, step out
of bounds and the thing. If I'm a coach, I'd
(04:08):
much rather and I say this all the time at
like draft season, I'd much rather have to teach a
player to be a little bit smarter and a little
bit less aggressive than the other way around, the having
to teach them how to be a dog. You don't
got to teach that to Jackson Dart. He's a dog.
And the other thing with this is it's a myth
that running quarterbacks get hurt more right, Josh Allen doesn't
miss time, Lamar. I know he pulled a hamstring this year,
(04:30):
but he also built like a building. Yeah. The pocket
quarterbacks are the ones that get hit. They get sacked.
Joe Burrow can't stay healthy, right, Like, there's a lot
of pocket quarterbacks. Last season, it was all pocket passers
that missed, none of the running quarterbacks. I think that
is a myth. I want Jackson Dart running the ball,
just being a little bit more selective. You know who
also had this problem early in his career, Josh Allen,
(04:52):
And now he knows how to slide and get down
and protect himself. It will come with groach and maturation.
But yeah, I don't I'm not reassessing how I look
at Jackson dark personally.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
All Right, that was very impassioned. I appreciate.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
I see a lot of people talking about it, and
I'm like, I'm on the exact opposite side, you know.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I just I want I'm very curious because it doesn't
seem like the giants are gonna slow him down from running,
which is kind of a question that I had. Part
of me was just like, dude, I get it, that's
your game.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
But I don't.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
I feel weird about him being like this is part
of the game, this is gonna happen. I'm like, it
doesn't have to happen, you know.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
And he thinks he's not playing soccer, like the shot
at the soccer players, like what are we doing here?
Like I dare him get chased down by Zultan he
Eber hebre Bit or Wayne Luoney. I totally just butchered
that Zultan iberhimavij There you go. But if you sit
here and say and take a shot at soccer players
not being as physical, come on, bro, We've seen guys
(05:46):
like Robbie Keane come on in sport for.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Toddlers, and then you learn how to play an actuals
a toddler. Wow, Yo, inducty sport.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
He took a shot at my jersey. You took a
shot at the sport.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
That Look, He'm just around with soccer. But it's as physical.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Jackson Dart, and he needs to start running as dangerous
as he's running because he's not going to have it
longevity in this league. The way he is playing is
reckless prison ball. We've seen Josh Allen's kind of fixing
adjust his rushing style. Yeah, he's built like a house,
but Josh Allen has been running more outside outside the bounds, right,
Like he's being smart. He's not hurdling guys anymore. Right,
he picks the spots. Listen, I'm telling you now, if
(06:25):
Jackson Dart keep playing the way he's playing, we're not
even gonna be able to draft him in twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
If Jackson Dart was a soccer player, he'd be selling
out for fifteen yard penalties every time because you guys
flop like no tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Where nine days clean from the crowd.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
That was like going solely to get him to the ground.
Days clean, folks, nine days clean. I half the time,
I don't actually believe what I'm saying. He stirs the pot.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
He's the little villain the show, folks.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
All I will say to put a caper on this
is ole. Miss has a very good baseball program he
wants to go back to for in the offseason. I'm sure.
I'm sure Mike Bianco will work with him.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Probably not helping the devil on his shoulder that is
camp scatterboo.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Yeah, I mean, you're how to play kamakazi ball. It's
just not gonna work out. Get it together, man, play safer.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
It is week fourteen.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
It is the final week of the regular season, so
of course they're buys because why wouldn't there be four
teams off this week?
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
The Carolina Panthers of the New England Patriots, the New
York Football Giants, and the San Francisco forty nine ers
are all off this week, which gets the okay, you
need some water.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
On it almost came out, but I'm very good.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
I'm very glad that it didn't time to check out
the first to score odds for the Cowboys Lions matchup
on Thursday Night Football. Jamier Gibbs no shock at the
top of that list, followed by Javonte Williams. David Montgomery
is number three right there with Jamis and Williams at four,
then George Pickens and CD Lamb with equal odds. No,
I'm on Ross Saint Brown on that list just because
still waiting to see what his availability is going to
(07:58):
be for this game on Thursday after getting rolled up
on Thanksgiving Day. But the start with the Cowboys, lakwan,
because are there any Cowboys that maybe you aren't starting
in this matchup?
Speaker 3 (08:10):
John Domingo, Joe Milton, I mean Jaden Blue, I mean you,
my boy boy, but I'm not starting. You know, guys
that are in the deeper deeper of like the Ryan
FLOORINOI or like guys like that. But to be serious,
I think this is going to be a high scoring
game for the Cowboys. Like I think this is a
statement game for the Cowboys. With the Lions defense these
(08:32):
last couple of weeks, they lost some key pieces, right
when you lose the key pieces, you lose someone that chemistry,
and we're seeing in the last four games teams have
been airing it out against him, and I think Dak
right now, he's been playing like a top five quarterback.
So I think right now, when you have the crash
Bros And Pickens and Ceedee Lamb, you're gonna be able
to have fun and have this offense humming. I think
Jake Ferguson is in there for a touchdown. I think
(08:54):
Javonte Williams. I even have a sleeper later in the
show that I think might pop off where there may
be some second half opportunities. The Cowboys running it up
on this lines defense.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
What about Jake Ferguson, because he's been on the struggle
bus lately.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yes, but he's been finding lucky in zone looks. He's
been finding lucky touchdowns. I think we can bank on
at least ten fantasy points from Jake Ferguson, and you
know that's the bar for stability.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Well, the Fergi Daddy hitting double digits, that'd be kind
of nice.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
Loya, We're still waiting to see what a'man Ra's availability
is going to be. I know they're hopeful that he
can play. Let's say he does play. Are you worried about.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Him if he is limited?
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Like, does he end up in that We haven't gotten
the annual Keenan Allen decoy game, Like could we get
that from OURSBA this week?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
It's a fear you're gonna have to be checking reports
up until game time. I think he is a true
game time decision from everything we have seen, and I
won't lie, like he's one of the toughest guys in football.
When he left on Thanksgiving, I was like, Oh, he'll
be back in the next driver or too. And then
we didn't see him, which tells you how serious it is.
And he keeps saying he's doing everything he can. If
(09:58):
he's able to be out there, he will. Well, if
we don't hear I look, if we hear that he's
on a snap count or anything like that, then I
think you got to reassess. But if we don't hear
that and he plays, I'm gonna play him because I
think this is such a high scoring game. But understand
that there's a lot more risk with a Monra than usually.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Yeah, I mean, I do think it's if he's playing
it's hard to get away right just because of what hes.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Defense has been playing a lot better since the trade deadline,
So I would say this, I feel like there's a
lot of attention that's going to be on Jameson Williams
as well. I mean you could throw on them still. Yeah,
Like there's gonna be a lot of attention on him,
So expectations need to be in order there if.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
He does it, though, you know who you can play.
That's the only way you could say his name.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
I will say that if if a Moonro doesn't play
the role for Jamison Williamston's to change that he he
stops being the downfield guy and he's kind of more
of the possession like underneath guy, and they use him less.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Toy less the distraction to pull off the top and stuff.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Use him that way more.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Sorry.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Yeah, no, dudes great after the catch, like why wouldn't
you give him no opportunities? Who knows? We'll see though.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Should be a lot of fun though on Thursday night
coming out, we have some.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Fantasy trust falls.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Can you trust some of these guys who have been
struggling with your fantasy help and your health for the playoffs?
Speaker 2 (11:15):
All of that and even more.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Stick around from more on coming up of the NFL
Fantasy Football Show.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Playoff spots on the line across a lot.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Of fantasy leagues, which means the decisions you make are
extra critical this week.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
So along those lines.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
I put together some fantasy trust falls guys who maybe
aren't playing their best or have difficult matchups, and asking
if you can trust these guys in your lineup with
the playoffs on the line. So we'll start look out
with Lamar Jackson, who three straight weeks under eight points,
got Steelers good matchup on paper.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Do you trust starting Lamar this week?
Speaker 3 (11:53):
No, he's not healthy, Like there is no question if
he's healthy or not. These last three weeks, he's been
bad on multiple injuries at me, ankle, a, toe, He's
been on the injury report these last three weeks where
I'm like he's going into every game kind of limping,
and like, Lamar right now is on pace to be
sacked fifty one times, that is a career high. He
usually is not the guy that gets touched in the pocket.
(12:13):
He's usually rolling out, getting away from the pressure and
protecting hisself. He's getting banged up. So like week after
week with this old line just allowing so much pressure
and he's getting physically touched like they were putting hands
and feet on Lamar. So I don't really think that
I could trust him until I see some type of
upside of where he shows that some type of life
he could be trusted.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
In the Fantasy playoffs, I know we're gonna do starts
and sits later on in the week.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
But you were talking about it. Did you actually put him?
I did, and but but I did in the sense of,
like I legitimately list I did it on Fantasy Live
as well, like if you have one of these like
nine quarterbacks, I would sit Lamar, otherwise I would play him.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
All right, Okay, so honest, you then florio about Justin Herbert. No,
all right, Uh, he's gonna out. He had surgery, honest,
and it was successful, because every surgery we hear about.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
In professional sports is successfully. Is great.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Waiting for the day that team's like they botched it it.
I mean, he's like Luke Skywalker out here with a
mechanical hand or whatever.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
But you are not.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
You're not in on him on Monday Night against the Eagle. No,
because of what you said, it's an added risk playing
on Monday. What if he's not good to go or
something happens last minute. And on top of that fewer
than fifteen fantasy points in the last three is that
o line is super banged up, some of his pass
catchers are banged up, like I don't know if Gatson
is fully healthy right now. And then on top of it,
the Eagles second fewest passing touchdowns allowed this season.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
There's other options that I just like more this week.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Yeah, he's another one that's been getting hands and feet
put on and he has the most QB hits taken
this season.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Well, I mean that happens when your two starting tackles
get injured and are out and you're left scrambling trying
to fill off life. It's not great former Eagle DeAndre Swift,
who's been having a pretty good season with the Bears.
But Lakwani's got the Packers in Green Bay, and I
believe I saw that you is going to be like
in the once he's maybe even maybe even lower than that, it's.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Going to be bricked.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
DeAndre Swift? Do you trust him this week?
Speaker 3 (14:07):
I kind of trust in this running game that Ben
Johnson has really formed these last four weeks where Caleb
has been up and down. It's been very inconsistent in
terms of fantasy opportunities. It's been operating where it's going
to be Common Nung Guy or DeAndre Swift. And I
think with these two running off each other, we have
to label them, right. Are they the new Sonic Knuckles
bootleg version? I don't know, but this is what's keeping
(14:27):
this offense moving forward. So I'm trusting the process and
trusting that the Bears offense continue on leaning on DeAndre
Swift and Common Dung Guy.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
By the way, the forecast for Sunday in Green Bay
high of seventeen, nice a low of seven, and they're
by the play football. That does not compute in my California.
That means running the ball my California brain, that just
does not make sense.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Have you ever experienced seven degrees? No? Why not? Why
would go ahead experience once? What do they call it?
The it's like negative ten degrees with the wind and no,
there's a name for it. But it's like it's like
something happens like every January in the Northeast and like
it's just there's a week where it's cold as as
(15:12):
can be. Vortex or something along those lines, and some
catastrophic where it's cold and do not go outside.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
I know it's awful, Like, why would I subject myself
to that just to.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Say you did no prize for it? I don't. I
used to do snow removal and stuff. I don't miss
those days.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
I don't get a prize for it. Justin Jefferson, it's
been a pretty awful year for him. Last week, who
catches four yards?
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Awesome?
Speaker 3 (15:36):
I mean, listen, I was on the look. I was
on the boat of selling him before the trade deadline,
because you can get a haul when his name is
still ringing bells. I look at this right, these last
four games, we've had two Kyle Williams touchdowns to Justin
Jefferson's zero. We've had the Von Vele score more fantasy
points than Justin Jefferson in the last four games, but
(15:57):
one less game we've had This one gets good floor.
Hi Johnson, the third string running back, have more fantasy
points than Justin Jefferson. I am not trusting him rest
of the season.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Chalk it up.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
You have you've stayed on this trade.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
I have him as a start this week. Oh my yeah.
Oh the Commanders are one, the quarterback play is gonna
get better. As bad as that is, like JJ is
actually an upgrade over over Max, But beyond that, the
Commanders are top six and yards and fantasy points allowed
to wide receivers. They struggle against out wide wide receivers,
they struggle against the deep ball, and Justin Jefferson finally
(16:31):
finally crashed out, like he didn't talk to the media
for the first time since he's been a Viking. KOC
knows how frustrated he is. I think we're gonna get
double digit targets this week, and on top of that,
please KOC give him a couple of short, easy ones
on the first drive, like we saw the Eagles do
with aj Brown after his crashouts. But yeah, I'm willing
(16:52):
to roll the dice with his talent in this matchup.
The thing I keep saying, like, are you four teams
are on? Are you gonna sit in for like a
Donnie Mitchell or or someone that you pick up off
the waivers. If you do that and Justin Jefferson goes off,
You're gonna hate yourself for the next six months.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
That's see, that's the hard part with a guy like
Justin Jefferson right like, because you know what he can do,
and if you sit him and he does that, then
you feel like you.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Have no one to blame about yourself.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Are the playoff teams in the room with us right
now that have justin Jefferson Because I know some folks
that are in pain right now because he has done nothing.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Nothing because you might have also drafted like a Mecca
Buca or Teo McMillan.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Lucky. I also have a Buchaz to start this week.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
All right, floyal Kyle Pitts. He's got the Seahawks. I'm starting, Yeah,
I look to Seahawks have been a good matchup all year.
Kyle Pitts has been fine, Like it hasn't been terrible.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
He's just fine. He went off last week. He I
if Drake London sits this week, I think Kyle Pitts
is a top five tight end play this week because
he is clearly the top target for Kirk Cousins in
this offense. He's been each of the two games that
Cousins has started. He put up a lot of numbers
last week, and then on top of that, the Seahawks
weakness has been tight ends this year on the year
(18:09):
third most yards. Since Week nine, second most yards. It
has been a consistent thing all year long against his team,
and the Falcons are very likely to be trailing and
having to throw that means that Kyle Pitts probably going
to see another seven to eight something like that target.
So I'm willing to play him in that.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
I like him this week. I mean, I think he's
a start this week for sure, just because of what
you mention. Is the matchup for sure, If Drake London's
not there, I think they get a couple extra targets.
But I just think that matchup more than anything is
sort of what dictates it for me for him getting
a start in my fantasy lineup. All Right, there you go,
guys that maybe we do or don't trust. I don't
know if we helped because we disagreed on a lot
(18:46):
of things. Take all that information in and then do
with it what you will. Let's get back to our
Week fourteen previews. Though we got the Bears at the
Packers's florio. Which Packer wide receiver do you think is
the best for fantasy managers in Week fourteen?
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I actually really like Christian Watson this week. The Bears
have struggled against out wide wide receivers. In the last
month or so, they've really struggled against the deep ball,
and even more than that, they play man and blitz
at an above average rate. Jordan Love is the best
quarterback against man coverage this year and against the blitz. Like,
I think Jordan Love goes off this week, and uh,
(19:22):
I think it translates to success for Christian Watson.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Yeah, I mean, like he's It's funny because at the
start of the year we were like, I don't know
Christian Watts, but he's come back and he's been fantastics.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
He'll came back.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Yeah, yeah, very curious what happens when Jayden Reid gets
back into the mix. Doesn't seem likely this week, but the
wide receiver one could be very let him tell it.
I mean, I know we kept trying, at least I
kept trying to like hang the dairy Land debo tag
on him, but it just does not it's not working out.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
He thinks he's the wide receiver one though, I mean
they look man years ago he was.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
I don't believe yourself. Who's situation.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
As we stay with that game though. On the other side,
Adam Rank made this point Lakwan on Fantasy Live earlier
in the week, that the Bears are playing well. I
mean as of this moment, they are the number one
seed in the NFC, which nobody saw coming, but that
at the same time, it's hard to count on them
regularly in fantasy with the weather being bad, with it
(20:18):
being in Green Bay. How many Bears are you confident
in starting this week?
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Quite a few, Like I could see myself starting Caleb
right when it's bricked outside, it's cold. He started using
his legs more. We saw him turn up in the
snow against the Giants. I think there's upside with him
this week, just as QB two high ENDQB two range
Colston Loveland. He's kind of been their most reliable guy
the last couple of weeks. If you're in a position
where you have to play a tight end. The Green
Bay Packers have been tough to the position. But again
(20:45):
we're talking about Ben Johnson that can get real creative
and create and design these situations for Loveland to get open.
And then I go to the running backs again with
swift and common nung guy. If we look at this
winning streak since week nine, since they've been on this streak,
they have been scoring more points, more yards per game,
and the rushing plays have increased and overweighing the passing plays.
So we're looking at Ben Johnson shifting this offense into
(21:08):
gear where the run game has been the most reliable
thing that they could bank on.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
That run game really turned up after their buy and
they had one of the earlier buys in the league.
But since they came back from that week off, they
shuffled some things on their offensive line. They've run the
ball a lot more effectively. Calm has been a tough
start in tough matchups. In good matchups, he's been really good.
He'll give you twenty five points. In the bad matchups,
(21:32):
You're like, you know, like nine this.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah, Like his passers are being completed right now in
the last four games, Like that's a real nasty work situation.
Like where's the consistency going on? Like Ben Johnson will
hit that switch. I'm like, no, We're going to run
the ball for the rest of the game.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
And Green Bay the last like five or six weeks
have struggled against the I know they were awesome early on,
but they haven't been as of late.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
They have some holes. There's some weaknesses in the Packers
on the week to week bases looking at that defense,
so there's opportunity for two rb ones this week.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Was Jerry Jones right when he said Micah Parsons was
hurting the Cowboys run deep?
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Well, maybe the run deep, maybe the run these I
don't know. I think he's kind of good at football. Yeah,
that's all, I know. That's all all right.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Now we're gonna get into something a little bit different.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
We talk about, you know, usually starts and sits and
streaming options at quarterback and running back, receiver tied end.
We don't really talk often about kickers and defense.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
They are a thing.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
They still exist in both the real football world they
exist in the fantasy football world. So we have been Neglectfule.
We're going to try and write that even though it's
the last week of the fantasy regular season, it's never
too late. Kim some stream team stuff. First, let's talking
about like kickers, right, Florid, do you have a strategy
for picking a kicker in what if you're streaming at.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, well, usually I look at the recent game logs
to be like, how many opportunities are you getting? Like
last week I played m McPherson in a lot of
leagues because I was like, they should be able to
move the ball, but maybe not punch it in. But
on top of that, look for indoor and check the weather.
Right like we are at the time of the year
where weather we're talking Bears Packers a little while ago,
that is going to be a very weather impacted game.
(23:13):
So I want kickers in nice conditions, and more than anything,
try to get a kicker who's not going to kick
the earth and he's actually going to kick the ball.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
He says he did that on purpose. He said, so
the ball wobbled a little bit and so he basically
just pulled the shoot on the attempt.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Yeah, okay, that sounds good.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
I like what you said too, because I think part
of it is find the offenses that are good enough
to kind of get into the red zone and get
to the scoring area, but don't necessarily punch it in
a lot that's settle for a lot of field goals.
You can kind of find those stats and that sort
of things. I think those are the teams like you
look around, like the Houston Texans are one, the Bucks
are one. There's a lot of these teams. Those are
(23:54):
two of them. Probably most kickers right there. You know
there it is if you were if you're streaming a
kicker this week, Lakwan. Is there a name you're looking at?
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Harrison Mavis? I think Pauls if you know him in anything,
not calling him that bro.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
In his name field. Listen, we're touchdown.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
First of all, he almost got me to crass nine
days clean.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
I'm going with Harrison because he's not rostered in many
leagues right now, and he's on an offense that's going
to create tons of scoring opportunities.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
I'll give you a couple of other names real quick,
to Roley Patterson in Miami, because the Dolphins' offense has
actually turned up lately and they're finding their way into
the red zone but not scoring a ton of touchdowns.
If you look for somebody for the playoffs, Andy Bourgallis
in New England, he's very lightly rostered. He's out there
in a ton of leagues. The Patriots are playing well.
They've got a favorable schedule, so they're off this week.
(24:45):
But if you're looking to stream.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Somebody through the fantasy postseason, Bergallis.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Their entire schedule has been favorable, just saying.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
You saidout me.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
You only play who's in front of you, you know.
So let's go to the defensive side of things, Florida.
If you're looking for a defense to stream, what what suggestions.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Do you have for folks? If you have clinched the
playoffs already, who cares about this week? Start looking ahead
to week fifteen and beyond, and some defenses like the Cowboys.
They play the Lions this week. I know I might
get negative points there, but they get the Vikings next week.
So I've picked the Cowboys up in a number of leagues.
The Eagles get the Raiders next week, and then the
forty nine Ers and Giants are run by, but they
(25:22):
have really favorable matchups next week as well. So if
you've already clinched and you're not playing for anything this week,
you don't even have to waste the bench spot. Just
get one of these defenses in and use them as
your starting defense this week.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
All right, there, Bill, any defenses you have your eye on.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Oh, I like the Jaguars, especially against Indy. I mean,
Dan Jones banged up right now, and this has been
a defense. It's been causing tons of chaos in the pocket,
and if Dave Jones are going to be limited in
the pocket, this is only going to create more opportunities
for sacks, which is points, turnovers, interceptions, fumbles, et cetera,
et cetera. The Jacksonville defense has been great, man, They've
been stopping to run, and I think they can keep
contained Jonathan Taylor this week as well. If they're going
(25:58):
to put everything on his back.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Yeah, I think that to me, is always the thing,
and I don't think it changes for the playoffs versus
the regular season. Target offenses that give up sacks, that
turn the ball over a lot. The Buccaneers are one
of those teams where they've got to schedule that that
lines up. I mean, now you get to this point
in the season, teams are playing heavily in division the
rest of the way.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
So that means if you're you know, if you're.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Gonna roster the Buccaneers, you know you get the Panthers,
you get the Falcons, you get the Saints, you get
the Saints. You know this week for instance, you know
you're gonna get the Falcons again at some point. These
are offenses that struggle with protecting the quarterback.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
They give the ball away. So the buck's still out
there in a lot of leagues too.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
They're worth picking up, stashing, holding on to, and maybe
just just running with them through the.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Rest of the fantasy postseason as well too. So a
lot to talk about there with that. Those defenses, those
defenses and those kickers, they still count as much as
as much as fantasy folks want to get away from them,
they're still worthwhile.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
I'm voting every summer at the league meeting, get them out.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
I'm gonna cancel. Watch your vote. Yep, exactly what happens summer.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Back to the game previews though, for Week fourteen, Steelers
at the Ravens Big One in the AFC North Florida,
Would you start a Steelers pass catcher and would your
mind change if it was Mason Rudolph somehow taking over
for Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
No, and No. I have DK as they sit this week,
and it's pretty straightforward right like in as of late,
they haven't been throwing him the ball. That's a problem.
He has single digits in five of his last seven
games since Week seven. Six targets per game, one catch
of a deep on a deep target. So you can't
rely on racking them catches. You can't rely on big
plays lately that you can't rely on touchdowns, and the
(27:41):
Ravens have been extremely tough on out wide wide receivers
as of late. That's where DK does all his running.
The routes from like this. We said it all of
us in the summer, like this was a terrible pairing,
and it has played out exactly as we all thought.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Yeah, I mean, I thought at best, at best it
would be a lateral move going Frostsburgh and I don't
even know if it's been that so far. We mentioned
Lamar Jackson earlier in the show. Lakwan higher or lower
than sixteen points for.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Lamar in this I mean, man, that's that's a tough question.
And Lamar is the big name that you don't want
to bench. But I'm looking at other options this week.
I can't play a guy that's not healthy right now.
We're not getting max opportunities for him the score as well,
with only one touchdown in the last four games. Like
I said earlier, it's just not looking up. So I'm
looking for other options. Less than sixteen, less than ten,
(28:35):
less than ten, not doing it.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Less than ten, not doing it. Wait your chest I
like less than ten. That's brutal, that's spicy. I respect
it absolutely respected.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Colts at Jaguars is another interesting one in the AFC South.
The Colt's coming back to Earth and a lot of
teams chasing him right now. Daniel Jones, I've said it before,
he's been mid which is like the worst thing you
could be as a fantasy quarterback right now? Would you
start him against Jacksonville? We have won good Jersey Jones
on this show. We don't have for another one. I'll
get away from Daniel Jones this week. Like Lakwan said that,
(29:11):
that foot really concerns.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Me, like is he gonna be able to move in
the pocket? Is he gonna be able to scramble? It
didn't look great, and I know it was against the
Texans last week, but it just didn't look great. And
on top of that, this Jags defense is a different
unit since thereby since that point, thirty nine percent pressure
rate that is top ten in the NFL, their top
ten in sacks I believe as well. It's just Jones
(29:36):
has been held under seventeen and four straight. He's become
a floor play. I'm getting away from him, and what
could be I think more of a defensive battle potentially.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this is kind of
a low scoring game at all. Look on what version
of Trevor Lawrence you expect? What version I saw this on?
Speaker 3 (29:52):
The doctor started laughing and like remember that Ti versus
Tim Allen, Like flip person, are we going to get
t floor t mid this week?
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Think?
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Honestly, being all serious, whichever Lawrence, I do think this
is the week where we could start trusting him because
this offense is starting to get back in order. There's
indy defensive without Sauce, so I do think there's opportunities
for him to be able to throw up some yards
as well. In the last four games, they have allowed
two hundred and fifty passing yards per game. That is
the fifth most right now that this defense is allowing.
So I do think we can get some solid production
(30:22):
from t law This sounds weird.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
I'm saying, I'm proud you actually used his something close
to his given name at this point.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yeah, because I'm starting his given name, that's true.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
I'm starting him this week a little peak behind the curtain,
so I'm trying to go into positivity.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
This is about you. Yes, I'm working. I'm not mad
at it.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
I see you working.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Look the stats don't lie.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
And he's been balling twenty one Fantasy points last week.
This offense is starting to get more collectively healthy. We
got BTJ back in the fold. Brent Strange has been balling.
I do think Jacoby Myers has soilified hisself as a
guy that can rely on. So why not?
Speaker 2 (30:56):
All right? Sounds good?
Speaker 1 (30:57):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
I did it.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Bengals at Bill's florio. Who has more Fantasy points this week?
Joe Burrow or Josh Allen?
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Josh Allen because of car but Kena Mursky, our researcher
de point out and it paid me to say this,
but apparently I didn't fact chock it. Joe Burrow has
scored points on every single drive he's ever had against
That's not great. Wow. But the thing is the Bills defense.
For as much as I like to poo poo it,
they cannot stop the run to save their lives. They
(31:27):
allow the fewest passing yards in the NFL. That is
their clear strength of their defenses in the secondary. I
do think this is a higher scoring game back and forth,
but I think the running backs are actually going to Like,
I think Chase Brown and James Cook are the stars
of this game. But for this reason here, I will
take Josh Allen because of what he can do with
his legs, especially near the goal line. It is a
(31:49):
cheat code. It elevates his floor and his ceiling. And
as good as Joe Burrow can be, we didn't really
see that guy last week. Like he still looked like
he was like seventy five percent Joe Burrow. He wasn't
a percent Joe Burrow just yet.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
All Right, Floyle said that he thinks the running back
is going to be the stars of this one. So
I'll ask you lakwan more fantasy points Chase Brown or
James Cook.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
This is hard.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Why you always give me to choose your fighters where
you need.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
Questions? Right?
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I feel like, yes, the running backs will be the stars.
Wants to get into striking distance because we know Josh
Allen's going to turn the ball over in the red
zone once again, just saying so I think if I'm
going to SiGe with the easier layer, your favorite nine
days nine days with that.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Is the MVP number two's number.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Anyway, Chase Brown, I'm siding with Chase Brown. I was
gonna go James Cook because he has a twenty burger
on the table, but I'm going Chase Brown. He has
six games with over one hundred plus scrimmag yards. Okay,
I think he's going to put up seven with it
easy layout, what a soft defense against the Bills. This
should be another another win this week that we can
rely on him as a RB one. So I'm going
Chase Brown over James Cook.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
I do think this is going to be a really
high scoring game.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
It's gonna be a lot of fun from the running sure,
I mean I'm gonna enjoy watching it. I'm kind of
sad that it's in the early window, like I think
it got flex. I think it'd be a lot more
fun in the links.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Nobody want to watch Josh Allen turn it over every
single time again. Striking distance, bro, I mean you tied
with Trevorman Martin's in that category.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
What are we doing? Okay, Rams and Cardinals.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
We're setting a DFS lineup, Florio, who would you rather
spind up for? Is it Trey McBride or is it
Davante Adams.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
It's Trey McBride because he is on pace right now.
I have like the best tight end season ever. He's
finally next year gonna be replaced appropriately valued as the
tight end one, which makes me sad. But Davante, as
great as he is, the yards tend to go Pookah's way.
Davante is the look him and Stafford short touchdown merchants,
(33:47):
like they blow everyone else out and go on touchdown
passes because of this, right, Like it's frustrating who cares? Right,
it works, But McBride is going to get more yards
as well. I think I think he's going to be
heavily targeted. And look, it's so great to see McBride
being what we've all known he could be with a
quarterback who's capable of getting him the ball like it's
(34:09):
been tremendous with himage. Plus Jacoby's gonna be in ketchup
mode in the second half, and that's where the Cardinals
are at their best.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Goby Brissett throwing the ball forty three times a game.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Kind of like Bryce Young. You might not love it
at halftime, you're gonna love it by the end of
the game.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Just stand back there and chuck it, and we appreciate
your service there, Jacoby for that on the other side
of the kwand Kyron Williams dealing with an ankle injury.
He says he is good to go. Yeah, we've seen
a lot of Blake Corum. Anyway, do you think we
see more of Korum?
Speaker 3 (34:39):
I think we should.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
I'll freeze that.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
I think we should see more of him if Kiren's
banged of. And this is a game that I do
think that we can't go underprepared or unexpected you know,
turns and twisters throughout the game, where you know we
start fading the run, Like we were running the ball
very well last week with the raining, we should have
kept running the ball. I mean, Corum only had two
carries in the second half for forty yards, so obviously
(35:02):
he was bawling. But I do think that moving forward,
McVeigh needs to look and explore at least opportunities for
Blake Coran to put up six in the game. So
I do think being that he's struggling in the red
zone and progressively has gotten better, I do think he's
worth a stash going into the Fantasy playoffs though.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Absolutely think you should stash Blake Korum if you have
Kiraen Williams, you for sure should. Even if you don't,
I think it's worth picking up Blake Korum and putting
him in some lineups for you. Time for a break,
but we'll be back with the rest of our game
previews after this more game previews four Week fourteen, we'll
staying with one of the teams in the NFC West,
(35:40):
and that's the Seattle Seahawks heading down to Atlanta's take
on the Falcons Florio. Sam Donald has been on the
struggle bus lately. Do we still trust him this week?
Speaker 2 (35:48):
It kind of depends because it's not really Sam Donald's fault.
Like the Seahawks won their defense scores at a high rate,
so like when they get turnovers at lead to points
or and they like to run the ball a lot
in the red zone. Like there's just been a lot
of games that get ugly, real fast, and then when
that happens, Seattle, unlike other teams in the NFC West,
(36:09):
are like, we're not gonna let you pad your stats.
We're just gonna let you just go out there, hand
the ball off and stuff. So to me, it's a
little risky with Sam Donald because this easily could be
a game that gets very lopsided, very quickly. I think
Donald is kind of more of like a low end
a high end QB two that could be a low
end QB one. Yeah, I just the hot streak is over.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
It appears teams are kind of getting pressure in his
face and that seems to be making a big difference
with Sam Clemente.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Donald is our pal Adam call him.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Uh Dolphins at jets Lakwani's Breeze Hall and RB one This.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Week, I'm a little hesitant to say that I have
RB two expectations. And I say that because when you
look at the last couple of weeks, his pass and
volume has been incredibly inconsistent. Like, listen to his game log,
he has one target, two targets, four targets than two
targets last week. Like where's the Briese Hall that we
know can be unlocked? Like at the beginning of the
season he was getting tons of volume and tons of
(37:04):
opportunities to score. Did you know that him and Blake
Korm had the same amount of red zone carries? Like
it doesn't make sense, Like why is he not getting
more used in striking distant to put up six points
only two touchdowns, which is tied with Blake korm in
the red zone. So I do think that, you know,
Breese Hall expectations as an RB one needs to step
back in this game as well.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
I mean that that is a wild stat And then
but as you were talking, I thought about it, I'm like, well,
one of those offenses actually gets to the red zone consistently.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Yeah, so that might have something to.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Do with what your expectations in order what it.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Is Broncos ad Raiders, good old fashioned AFC West, the brawl,
and I just gonna be kind of one sided because
one of these teams is good and one of them
well isn't.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Boy, it was Week thirteen real or mirage for r
J Harvey. I think it's very real. But I also
thought Week eleven was very real. And he didn't get
the touchdown in that game, but that was like he's
been dominating volume and that's what you want for RJ. Harvey.
In fact, in the last two games since uh, since
(38:07):
Dobbins has gone out, Harvey has played fifty five percent
of the snaps, He's handled sixty five percent of the
running back carries. He leads the backfield and routes and targets,
and we're starting like this past week we saw him
use near the goal line, which was a job he
had before JK. Dobbins went out as well. So I
mean explosive runner used in the past game, used near
the goal line. Yeah, I'm all. I think R J.
(38:28):
Harvey and I put this out on Twitter the other day.
I think even with the Broncos tough fantasy playoff schedule,
he could go on a special run because I just
think he's a special talent and now he's getting the opportunity. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
It just again, it took everybody else turning to dustin
that backfield before Sean Payton game.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
How could you watch that b roll and be like, no,
I'm gonna let you chill in sideline, Like bro unlock him.
He needs twenty five touches a game. I don't know
twenty five. Asked Mike Rabel and Josh McDaniels why they
keep giving Vermandre Stevenson all these snaps, Like, man, that's
crash out worthy right there.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Commanders at Vikings, Jade and Daniels hopeful to play this week,
Soli quantall ask you higher or lower than sixteen points
for Jaden Daniels in his return against the pretty good
Minnesota defense.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Like this season hasn't been that Jade and Daniels magic
that we saw last season, so my expectations are low
on him as well. I'm saying less than sixteen fantasy points,
like I'm honestly looking at a guy that's coming back
from a serious injury by the way, that is still
up in the air about if he's even going to
play or not. This is one of the situations where
if I have another option at quarterback, I'm probably pivoting.
(39:34):
So less than sixteen points is kind of where I'm
at with Jayden Dance until I see otherwise.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Plus all things considered, the Vikings defense played pretty well
last week against Seattle is chaos.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Floris is on the sticks.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Their offense was so bad and that's what led to
Seattle getting twenty six points in that ball game. Saints
and Buccaneers an interesting one in the NFC.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
Is it really? I don't know. I just think, ye,
that's an interesting one, and then I.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Was like, is it really, I'll know that it is.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
It's a game in the NFC South.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
Baker Mayfield, though Florio has not been great for a while.
Is it was like right about the time everybody's like, hey,
Baker's an MVP candidate, then it all fell apart for
him at that point. Is he a start or sit
against a sort of middling Saints defense.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
I think he's a start. But it's different than early
in the year where it was like, obviously you're playing
Baker Mayfield. I think this is more a little bit
because like we've talked a lot about how we don't
love Lamar because we don't think he's fully healthy. Then
justin Herbert, I'm not playing him on Monday Night with
the broken hand. Daniel Jones is banged up, Sam Donald.
We just said. It's kind of like and then you're
(40:40):
getting like Jaden Daniels, is he gonna play? But if
he does, do you want it?
Speaker 1 (40:43):
So?
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Like quarterback is week this week is my whole point there,
And because of that, I think that keeps Baker in play. Like,
if you have another quarterback you feel really good about,
then yeah, like Jared Goff, maybe he paired those two
together or something. I would go in that direction. But
because of the state of quarterback, I do think Baker's
in play this week as a start.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
Yeah, It's just it's been a while since we felt
like you could get a solid start out of Baker.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
It just hasn't been banged up too man. One of
those things.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
He's holding the Mecca Buca back by the way, not
the other way around.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Oh, the uncatchable targets that Flurial is talking about the.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Highest rate since week six.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
That is that is un good. Speaking of un good
Titans at Browns, I'm surprised something. Are you starting anybody
on either side of this game?
Speaker 3 (41:31):
I'm starting harro Fan and Junior, you know that's my guy.
I think Quentin, you know, I mean, when Shawn Jenkins
doesn't play as well, tightens I'm a little like I
like Taji Spears looks good, he's playing good. He's explosive
at times. But when we see they at the end
of the game seven fantasy points, it's like, like, I
do feel like this game. If you're starting Harrofin and Junior,
obviously you're tightened one. When Shawn Jenkins flex territory maybe,
(41:54):
but everybody else is chalked.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
They're on the bench. Yeah, Judkins is playing well all things,
you know.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
I tried to try to imagine a strand of the
multiverse where you could maybe super flex to dore the
Titans because the Titans are bad.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
I ain't doing it yet.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Hey man, look, I gotta fill out so many names
for the sleeper's column, right, and it's it's a rough
week for quarterbacks, so you know you gotta go somewhere
with it. We'll see. Well, look, I'll say this, I'm
not excited about it, but I did write it up.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
We'll see I wrote it. I'm not super excited about it,
and we'll just leave it at that. With NFL Plus,

time to see who will deliver? Presented by Uber eat
our sleepers for Week fourteen. You sort of tease this
early on in the show. L kwantsa who is your
sleeper for this?
Speaker 3 (43:02):
Yeah to Snorlas this week Cowboys running back Leak Davis.
Speaker 2 (43:07):
I'm saying this.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
Only because I do think this game is going to
get out of hand. By the second half, there's going
to be rushing opportunities, opportunities to get in striking distance.
Look how explosive this guy is in between the tackles outside.
Get him involved in the passing game. I think this
is a game where Javonte Williams can sit on the
sideline and kind of chill. Because in the last three games,
when this guy's got an opportunity, three plus opportunities, ten
carries for ninety one yards nine point one yards per carry. Folks,
(43:31):
he had eleven Fantasy points last week. So he's coming
in with some juice on a short week.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
All right, So leak David's getting some opportunity here. Potentially
we'll see how that goes. Flora, your sleeper is.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
A Donnie Mitchell because not only has he been top
three in air yards the last two weeks, and that
two week span he is three hundred and sixty air yards.
The next closest is Ceedee Lamb with two seventy four.
Like the boom upside that he brings because like I
get it, the floor is low. I compare him to
like a akeisha, a booty, or what Alec Pierce was earlier.
(44:03):
In the year where Quinn Johnson has kind of become
where they're boom or busts right, Like the floor is
quite low, but the ceiling is high because of the
way and not only has he had the most air
yards in the last two weeks nineteen targets, Like you're
giving him that sort of volume. I know the Dolphins
have been better against wide receivers, and I think people realize,
but still this this is going to be a game
where the Jets are going to throw the ball and
(44:25):
I think Mitchell is a big upside play sleeper but
still in play.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Yeah, And I feel exactly the same way about Hm,
because I think where the Dolphins have been hurt recently
is kind of right where Mitchell lives within the context
of the Jets are I.
Speaker 3 (44:36):
Like the John MITCHI and Mitchell like fresh starts. Like
these guys are looking good, man, I mean Wilson.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
To watch it. Yeah, the problem is ya, Tyrod Taylor's
not the long term answer quarterback, and what happened.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
Maybe he is, you never know, but he's not the
longer a quarterback there.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
Mine's gonna be the Von Valley who the best thing
that happened to him was Brandon Cooks getting out of
New Orleans because once that that happened, then there was
more opportunity for him. We've seen his route participation jumped
from twenty seven percent to about ninety percent in the
last few weeks, and a lot more targets. He's been targeting,
I believe, twelve times over the last couple of games,
(45:13):
compared to I think he was fifteen something like that
the whole first weeks of the season, So a lot
more opportunity for him. Tyler Shuck has shown that he's
willing to push the ball downfield, so Devon Valley kind
of a deeper sleeper there.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
I wouldn't recommend.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Him an twelve team leagues, but I like him.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
I like him.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
He's made the show last summer. We were talking about.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
Absolutely back when he was with Denver and was getting
ignored by Sean Payton.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
So now in a New Orleans, pipeline is real, It
is strong, It is absolutely strong. So there you go.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
That was Who Will Deliver, presented by Uber Eats, where
you can get the best deals on game day food
