I think we need to jump right into it. Let's
get it. Let's get to our first guest. Well, y'all
want these bars? Hater man, I'm on thing like no,
I'm like, okay, Sis, they're going okay, all right? So

(03:11):
joining us now with Skype the Ultra Talented and as
you just heard, multitalented Steelers running back Levan Bill a K. Juice.
Let's jump right into it. So do I call you Leve?
Do I call you Juice? Do I call you LB?
What's up? Bro? Look? Man says you're the man? Where? Okay?

(03:32):
All right, I'm gonna stick with Juice. So we just
played a snippet off your mixtape, Joe Hot right called
the interview. Now let's start from the beginning. How long
have you have the nickname Juice? And how long have
you been rapping? Um? Coach Salomon gave me the nickname Juice,
you know what I I mean? He gave me that, um
the end of my rookie year. UM, and I kind

(03:52):
of stuck with it because I loved it, you know,
I mean, um, it was obviously O J. You know,
Coach hamin love O J. Growing up, O J was
a guy who played thirteen games in one season, got
for two thousand yards, and that's you know, really the
real record. Um, in a record of a single season.
And so I ran with the nickname Juice because it
kind of keeping motivated. And um, and I started rapping
our thirteen you know what I mean? Um, Wow, me

(04:15):
and my friends always we grew up, you know, in
middle school. UM, always rapping, freestyling, you know, That's how
that's how I came back. We always freestyle and giving
us bars with each other. And um, that's where it's
all started at. Well, Um, first of all, keep talking
about that, man, because I mean that we just left
the locker room and I had guys freestyling before every game.
That's how they got into it. Talking and tell the

(04:36):
fans kind of how freestyling and rapping before a game
get you in, get you into your mode. Man, when
you can become Juice, you know what I mean? Um,
you know, usually I'm not like before the game, I'm
not usually wrapping, you know, I kind of like listen
to the but like when I'm out there, Um, you know,
I don't got no headphones. I'm getting myself into it.

(04:57):
So either I'm rapping a song or I'm like rapping
about the other team, whatever it may be, or getting
you ready for the game. That's what I trying to do. Now,
let me ask you this. Now. You know, I'm a
hip hop head. You know, I got an alias. I
put out some tracks before and I did it. I
did it while I played, and it was it was
difficult just to do a song or two with a
couple of other artists. You put out a whole mixtape, bro,

(05:18):
I know how difficult, but you had to put it
on a track. Dog he got okay, my bad, My bad.
I had you set yourself up for that one. So
the question is, explain how difficult it is and how
did you get it done? Um? You know, to be honest,

(05:41):
you know, I got it done like a month, you know,
and I got about you know, and literally about fifty songs,
you know, and I tried to you know, just pig
and twos, um what kind of went together? Um, and
kind of put it put it on the tape, you know.
But I'm not a guy who right, you know, I
don't really write my music down, my freestyle everything, you know,
So when I go in there and I hear a beat,

(06:03):
whatever kind of comes to my head, you know, I
kind of take it um, you know that way. So
I think I can get songs and songs, you know,
you know, pretty much pretty easy, you know. And it's
not it's really not that much times consume him, you know,
any favorite rappers, favorite producers, anybody you would like to
work with, because you know, a lot of people watch
the show, So go ahead put it out there, you
know what I mean. You know, obviously you know you
got your Drizzy and Drazzy. I think you're the best

(06:24):
best in the world right now at what he does
Future to Um. And it's crazy because a lot of
people been saying, I gotta kind of a sound like
Future you do? You do? You know, and you know,
and that's one of my favorite artists, you know, and
they kind of I guess, you know, just me listening
to him kind of helped me transform my kind of
no style in a way. And you know, and that
those two two guys I listen to the most. So

(06:46):
your teammate Antonio Brown is about to be on Dancing
with the Stars. So I gotta ask you a question,
Who's better? Is it you at rapping or Antonio at dancing.
Oh that's that's a good one right there. I'm gonna
go ahead. I'm gonna give ab that love though, because
y'all see, y'all see he got his own dance. Yeah,

(07:07):
see his little Miami dance. Yeah, I got a little
of it. Yeah, we played that quick. That's yeah. Well look, man,
let's talk about your day job a little bit. You know,
I played with best mood blocked for best mode. Man.
He had aggressive style. Actually, if he made my job easier, bro,

(07:28):
because if I ain't hit to do, he was gonna
run both of us over, you know what I mean. Seriously, Bro,
And you're more patient, you know what I mean. I
really think you're the best all around back in our
game right now. Um, kind of talk about your style.
Where'd you get that patience from? Um? Kind of some
of your models? You know, how who do your mand
of your game? After? I'm growing up? You know, Um,

(07:49):
when I was young, Persis Martin was my god, you know,
and I remember, Um, when I was young, I didn't
really understand, you know why he always put his hand
on like the back of back of his linement all
the time, you know. But I used to just try
to do. When I was younger, I don't know why
he was doing it, you know, but now when I
look back, when it is because he just trying to
wait instead of his block, you know, And that that
helped me. You know, that's something that I perfect just

(08:09):
growing up, just growing up over the course of time.
So now to the point where you know, I'm kind
of like I kind of like perfected perfect, you know,
being patient. I don't feel like I ever have to
rush or because I understand, you know, I got the ball,
so it's on my tempo. They gotta they gotta come
to your tempo right now, you know. And and I
think that's what I really understand. And um, I love
you know, and I think it's really helped my running

(08:30):
style the way it is. Growing up watching Kurtis Martin
and then Adrian Peterson was another guy who actould love watching,
um you know, so obviously I want to get my
frame how he was. You know, I knew I was
a taller guy. Um. You know, I'm a lean, lean
guy type, you know, like a p and you know,
and I wanted to look like him, you know. So
Churis Martin was a guy, but I wanted to run
like and Adrian Peterson's guy. I wanted to look like,
you know, so, um, those are two guys, but you

(08:51):
but you you hurting them out of the backfield. Bro,
I see you line up in the slot. I see
you running post. I see you one of the sluggos.
I mean, where'd you get to love the st the
ball from too? Now? Then you got your Marshall Fox,
you got Thomason's you know, Um, those twos, the guys
out of the back room, I'm like, I have to
be like that, you know, and especially Marsia Marsha Paul

(09:13):
was literally you know, he was literally a slot receiver.
I mean, um, you know what I mean. He can
play you know, he's a running back. That was a position.
But he got out there and played slot and you
wouldn't if he didn't have one, you wouldn't even know
it was Marcia fark, you know what I mean. He
looked like a receiver out there and he was fluid,
and I think that's what I wanted to do. And um,
you know he helped helped help mow my game that
in that way. Now, obviously you were hurt last year,

(09:36):
so one I need to know where are you at
right now physically for everybody as a fan of Levian,
we all want to know where you are. But then too,
what was it like to watch the game from outside
perspective and what did you gain from that? Oh? Man,
my need is feeling great. You know. The rehab process
is going great. Um. I'm actually about to start getting

(09:57):
back into my intense training now. Um really you know,
revving it up now, you know, because I'm starting to run,
I'm starting to do all the little things getting my
knees strength back, you know. So I'm excited the progress,
um and where I'm at now, and you know, me
being injured, I hate you having to watch the game,
you know. Its it sucked having to watch my guys
go to work, go to battle even you know when

(10:17):
I came to the facility and they had to go
to practice and I wouldn't even able to go to
practice with them. You know, I couldn't even know do
things like that. It sucked, you know. And um, but
I was still able to know sit in the meeting
room with him in team room, but it just wasn't
the same because I knew I wasn't playing. Um, but
I always tried to make sure you know when I
was around my guys, keeping those guys focused. Um, Denso
was a guy who you know, came in, didn't the

(10:39):
office did slowed down, not for one bit, and he
you know, kept it pushing. So I definitely thank him
for you know, you know, taking off the slap because
you know, my down he getting hurt, you know, And
I'm glad that the running game you know, didn't hurt
from that. And um, you know I was. I was
probably with my team looked, but it sucked having to
just watch talk about some of the backs today that
you watch and I know, I mean, I know you

(11:01):
spent a lot of your time watching defenses and stuff,
but looking across this league, man, who are some of
the backs where you like? Okay, I could dig your style, man,
I like your style. Mhm. Um. You know, Todd Gurley
is a guy, you know what I mean? I like
Todd Gurley a lot. Um. He's a different style of
runner to me, but he runs very hard, he's very

(11:21):
he's very tough, you know what I mean. He's a
guy who came off this knee injury. So he kind
of a guy who kind of motivated me to get better.
You know what I mean, I see how he came
from Georgia where he was he towards a c L
and then he had a great rookie year, you know.
I mean that's something that that's just a will to do.
You can't coach that. You gotta just be willing to
do that. And he motivates me in that way. Um.

(11:43):
You know, it's actually a guy in college and I
like a lot who was outside of learning from net
Um Stanford. Like you like McCaffrey, Okay, McCaffrey, I like
him a thought. You know what I mean. I think
if you watch this game, I think he does a
lot of out of the field. Um, he sets up
his blocks. Well, he's a very patient guy. I watched

(12:04):
him a lot too, But that was just a guy
who was who in college, but in the league it
was Todd Gurley Short. Now, before I let you go,
I gotta ask about the hot news story that's going down,
um in Steelers camp. Now, in your short career, you've
had some ups and downs, you know, on and off
the field, and now Martevis Bryant, we just got the
news suspended for a year. Now, me being a receiver

(12:27):
that crush because he a Mons it was as a mom.
So I just want to know from the inside, like
how do you feel as a teammate, what kind of
advice do you offer him? And will that have an
impact negatively on the offense man? You know, I literally
was just in this roll in a similar situation obviously,

(12:50):
all right, when I got to spend it, you know,
And it's you know, when when the news first hits,
you know, and it's always being in Twitter and everything,
it hurts, you know, especially when you know it's about
to come out, because he probably knew a couple of
days before, and when it actually comes out, it's not
something you can prepare for, you know what I mean.
People are gonna tell you all they hate you and

(13:12):
all these negative things, but you know, you gotta understand
you're human, you know, I mean, you're a human being.
I'm pretty sure if he wanted to be perfect, like
if he if he could be perfect, he would, But
you know, I can't be perfect. He can't be perfect.
I can't be perfect. Nobody can, you know, and we
all make mistakes. His mistake is you know, more glorified
because what he does for a living. But he has

(13:33):
to understand that he's a human being. Um, you know,
he makes mistakes. He gonna he's gonna learn from me.
He's gonna come back from me, you know. He you
know he I guess he's not doing the appeal, so
he's gonna just take the suspension, um, you know. And
I'm gonna obviously be there from Artavius whenever he needs me,
needs to talk to me, or I haven't read out
to him yet because you know, I remember when I
was in that situation, I wasn't really you know, I

(13:55):
didn't really want to talk that much. But now I
was gonna reach out with tw him when I felt
like no was everything had kind of calmed down a
little bit and just kind of talk. I'm pretty sure. Um,
you know, when he gets back, Um, he's gonna he's
gonna learn from all of this, you know, and he's
gonna be a better player from it and a better person.
And um that's what you gotta do. You gotta overcome
it and be a better person. What about that offense,
do you think you guys can still be one of

(14:16):
the best offenses in the game without the best number
two in the game, because he is one of a coming.
I'm just asking I gotta ask my bad dog. But
I'm just saying my bad. The most dominant offense in
the game, I think I think this guy hasn't women
for our offense regardless. I mean, I look back when
I watched last year, I didn't play, and the offense

(14:38):
was still don't matter. You know, when the times when
even Ben was outways Stillhenvid came in, we still came
and moved the ball. Um when I came out, you
came in. We got guys, you know, we got depth.
And I think the fact that we got all that
death and we got no playmakers everywhere, I think our
offense they're gonna be just as dynamic. Um. Obviously our
tables would make it a lot easier. But no, we

(14:59):
still got the next man up. And that's the kind
of things we've been doing. That's what's up. That's what's up.
We're like, we'll look, man, we're about to let you go.
But before we go, you and Nate, real quick, let's
get a couple of bar free style real quick. Come on,
they let's drop a BT d oh oh we read
huh we ready, I'm the hype man, go ahead and
ate you. At first, they sweating, They sweating. Huh, hold up,

(15:23):
only sweat when I'm on the field, Mike, you know
that every time I rip the mic, got bars like
two said a minute ago. Off the top of the dome. See,
I'm here to float my man towards stay seeing, but
he's back better than never off the top of the dome.
These ronds are so clever. Get the field to the

(15:44):
studios trying to do this thing. I moved the ball
just like ruby basketball bar. You gotta catch that off
the top of the dome. My style reflect that. I
just sit back and everybody say, give him a break. Nah,
I give him a kick catch? Oh whoa, yeah, he

(16:10):
went hand real quick. I'm gonna be can we can
we get on the track. Let's get it. I'm gonna
get your info from the producers, and I'm gonna get
you my evening. Got something? You got something you see
me got and all right for that's off the top. Man,
Imagine when I what I could write down if I'm
give me that, I got you bro do We're gonna

(16:33):
get to info, Broy. Wait wait till you hear this
NFL two fifteen recap that I got all bars about
the whole season it's cold. I promise you it's gonna
it's gonna drop in a couple of weeks. But left,
we appreciate you joining us. I'm gonna get you. Definitely
want to get on the track. I appreciate the fact
that you had some mistakes, you stood up for your mistakes,
and you came back like a bonster. And on top

(16:55):
of that, like you see the game in the way
everybody supposed to see it, like it's a privilege as honor.
And on top of that, bro, you're part of the
new generation and you're showing young men that they can
make it to the league and still stick to their roots.
Spit bars, do what you do and keep bawling, keeping
but bro keeping dog. Yeah, I'm gonna at you. Man. No,
we canna be in contact yea yeah. And you shout

(17:17):
out to Levan bill a K Juice for jointing. Yeah. Man,
the man can't wait from to get back on the field.
Check out the mixtape, the interview. It is out right now. Um,
you know, there's been an awesome show so far, but
it's not over. It's not over. We go from super
running back to super Producer. We got for the second

(17:41):
time around Dabney Henderson on the show. Here we call
her SDH in the building. How are you doing? I'm
doing good, You're doing great. Hang minute. I would actually
like m Rob to be my hype man when I'm
in the boot right before the show, just like, yeah,
I saw what you different names. I think I need

(18:02):
that thirty seconds before showtime's I got for that, m Rob.
I'm telling you man, I'm bro Well, listen, we we
got to talk about sports in love, right. I think
they're synonymous. Right. They say you gotta love what you're
doing loving football? Yeah, I love in football. Right, But
now we're not We're not talking Omar Epps and Son,

(18:25):
not Lathan. We're talking Russell Wilson. Okay, so we all
saw the video, right, I think it kind of hits
social media, Like, but didn't you think he was gonna say,
did you go to Jared or did just seems like
you know what I mean, Like it was it was
a commercial. I wasn't even tripping back where he was

(18:46):
head on what he said. But the size of that ring, dude,
when you making out paper that you're making year like
her ring gave birth to my ring. The ring is
like the fetus to her, it's all about love. It's
all about love. Since it is all about love, let

(19:06):
me ask you, is there is such thing as going
too far with showing the world your relationship. Because we're
already on display as athletes, so our brand is forever
in the hands and eyes of our fans. But do
you also want to take them in your home and
your relationships. See, here's the thing. You have to realize.
You can't have it both ways. You can't tweet pictures

(19:30):
of your boo and you caught it up on the
beach and your engagement announcement and y'all hugged up and
you're doing this and you're doing that, and then when
the media comes to you and said, well, what's up
with you and Sierra, it's like, I'm just here about football.
You can't have about ways you've led us in. I
think everyone is entitled to their privacy, whether you're an
athlete or a celebrity. But once you open that door,

(19:52):
we're gonna walk in it. Perien. That's powerful. Yeah, that's
real powerful man. Look. I try I tell people use
social media for what it is, use it for what
it is, And for me, it's a way for us
to touch our fans away, for us to talk to
our fans. I'm not talking about how I proposed my wife,
even though I think it was awesome how I proposed
my wife, all right, So look right, it kind of

(20:17):
worked you all out perfect. I was so glad happy
you asked me that. So worked out perfect. Right. So
I was in San Francisco, right, I saw I met
my wife, okay, boom. I had talked to her mom,
talked to her family like, yeah, I'm gonna make it happen.
I had talked to the Takury you know what I mean.
He had a private jeweler down there. I was, you know,
made the ring or whatever. So we went to this
hotel at the rich cars and way off somewhere off

(20:38):
this the cliff of this at the edge of this cliff,
I forget the name, but it was awesome. It was beautiful, beautiful,
and um, you know, I had my jeweler come in
and decorate the room, had some luke the band draws
band and all listen all that, right, yeah right, And
so she wouldn't expect nothing, right. I told her that,
you know, we had a forty nine and event to

(20:59):
go to and God must have been in my corner, right,
because Coach Singletary was downstairs and that wasn't even playing.
That wasn't it all looked in the twine dinner and
I was like, oh, this is perfect. Right. We went upstairs, right,
and then the jeweler left some flowers in the hallway,
like some little roses like petals, right, and she was like,

(21:19):
what's this. This is not a party, and so I'm like, dang,
I kind of blew it. Okay, So we go in
and um, I told her I wanted to strip for Okay,
I say that, and I say that you can say that. Oh,
I told I wanted to strip for right after dark?
I said, close your eyes baby, all that Luther, Oh no,
I put it on let right my phone? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

(21:49):
right some more. It's right by the time when he
was talking, man, I'm a bachelor. Right by that time,
I was getting down, you know what I mean. And
she was like, oh, he's about to strip for me.
She's just so crazy, right, And they had to ring
sitting there. It was like, well you married man. She
just started claiming it was it was y'all didn't think
that took it? Did it? Did. I had to. I
had to hurry it safe on my feet, like I'm

(22:12):
gonna stripped for you. Yes that you go by Magic
Mike for now on right, don't call me that you
I certified, I said, I was about the script from
my wife. I got real into it. I just saw
a glimmer in your eyes. You got real. Didn't do it? Hip? Yes,
I mean I can't. I mean I could get down there.
You know what I'm saying. I could get down. I

(22:33):
could dig it. I could dig it. Mine's a little
bit more simple. I just I went to her house.
We're staying in separate places, an apartment, and I went
over there. We did the dinner thing and it was
more of a surprise. It was snowing outside and I
feel like the moment right, and then we did it.
So it was it was how did you do it?
You're talking about? We did it? And I mean, I mean,
you know, play, I played. I played a host of

(22:56):
my favorite artist, I'm a Joe to see guy. You
know what? Okay, I kind of pop pop that on
the c D. This is what CDs was still turning
the radios and uh yeah she did. She didn't. She
wasn't expecting it because I was young. She's three years
older and I was a rookie. Question, So how long
do you ain't got to go into there? You go ahead, Okay,
how long was y'all date before you got married? Uh?

(23:18):
Four years? Oh, so y'all got it. I mean I
met her my freshman year. She was she was the
star track hurdler going to get her master's. I was
just young, skinny kid. Didn't even play my freshman year.
So everybody's like, yo, she's the truth, you know, me
being a cocky dude just talking to your friends. You know,
you just met everybody like I'm gonna get her, like
I'm a tater, like Nick's exactly. That's exactly what I was. Funny,

(23:43):
we always watched that movie. That's that's your all corny
but right there. But that was That's what That's what
it was. And I wore down and she finally you know, married. Man.
I chased I chased her down. Man. She she she
didn't want to, but you know it was it was
something that you know, made my better. So that was
what's the moment. Like, here's what I want to know. Like,

(24:04):
when you're asking the question, you assume she's gonna say yes,
but there has to be some kind of like no
no for us. I feel like we knew, like you
just know no because my wife was It was it
was almost like what you're waiting for for me. My
wife we knew each other almost we dated almost a year.

(24:26):
But I'm not gonna lie to you know. I really
didn't believe in love the first height. But when I
really got to know her, I said, Oh, I'm not
going yeah, I ain't going nowhere. This is a rap. Yeah,
so how about you we gotta know? Oh yeah you heard? Okay? Um.
You know. It was funny because my my husband at
the time, he tried to do this whole thing where

(24:47):
it was his sister's birthday and he's playing a party
at our apartment, and you know, I could sense a
nervous energy about him. I didn't think it was a
proposal energy. I just was like, why is this dude ripping?
Like we don't have get together, you know what I mean.
So we had people over, we had my friends, his friends,
and there was the Saints and the Falcons playing, which

(25:08):
is a big weekend for me as a Saints fan.
A bunch of New Orleans people were in Atlanta, and so, um,
we did a toast to his sister. I did a
toast to the Saints, and then I know, I know, right,
football has to be incorporated into my proposal story. And
then he's like, I have one more toast to do
and I'm just kind of sitting there like where is

(25:29):
this going? Like wrap it up? Brother, We got to
go to the club, you know, Like I'm not realizing
I'm getting proposed to in the moment. That's how disconnected
I was. I'm like, it's Saints Falcon's weekend, We're going out.
Dude is still talking let go and then he gets
down on one knee and then that's when it was
sort of like what and it hit me and all

(25:49):
the emotion and all that stuff. So I didn't cry
in public because that's just not my thing, but I
did like have a moment, Like we had a moment
later it was so public, which was fine because it
was all people we loved, but like, I wanted us
to just kind of have like a moment, and so
we did that together once everyone left. Yeah. So so

(26:12):
getting back to Russell and Sierra, now I have the
feeling that Russell isn't necessarily about attention. I don't I
don't know. You weren't know him better than me. But
when when you're dating in R and B superstar, right,
I don't know. I'm I don't know. I'm asking Superstar
that we were. But that comes with the territory, right,

(26:35):
Like for Sierra, that's what she has to do. Like
it's almost like that helps her brand. And you know,
if she drops an album or has something coming out,
constantly promoting her lifestyle like benefits her. I don't know
if that's necessary. I mean, I'm gonna keep it falking. Man.
When I first heard that they were getting bad, right,
I go lie because I am. I am a stepfather.

(26:56):
You see what I'm saying. I said, oh, future future
gonna have an issue with this one. And I ain't
gonna even trip Like that's the first thing I thought about.
And I just hope that young fellow Russell my dog.
You know what I mean. Ain't talk to you in
a minute, bro um, pick up a phone. Um. I
just hope that they've talked and with adults about things.

(27:19):
And because I know for me, I always tell my
my baby mama, like, look, man, I don't care what
you do my daughter has a father, right, you know
what I mean? And I just hope that that was
talked about because I mean, you talk about really we
all have kids and it gets real, emotions get really real.
I feel like it has. I mean, Russell don't seem

(27:40):
like the guy that's just gonna I hope. I'm not
gonna say he did. But I mean, you talk about
you talk about a girlfriend who has a super she's
a superstar lifestyle, and talk about superstar baby daddy, superstar
baby daddy and a superstar football player. Man, how how
do you kind of find the time to sit down
and work and talk about this. I mean, it just

(28:03):
is and and and I don't know. I don't know.
I just and trust me, I know Russell and I
know he very and he thinks about everything. He got
processes everything, runs it all through. And I just hope
you know what's going on. So let me ask you
guys this, Say you're playing in the league, do you
keep your relationship private or do you go public? And

(28:25):
the same to you if you're in the league right now,
Private or public? I would say private only because, like
I said earlier, once you open the door, it's open.
There's no closing it. You put it out there and
people are all in your business. And so what happens
is people put their business in the streets. Then say,
why is everybody in my business? Well, nobody would be,

(28:47):
you know what I mean, Like, I don't see you
putting stuff all on your feet about your relationship. You're
not putting stuff out there. I don't think there's anything
wrong with putting it out there, but you have to
know there are consequences when you do that, and that
folks are gonna be all up in it. They're not
just gonna dip a toe. They're diving into everything, digging
and digging exactly. So they see you out on what

(29:07):
could be innocent and innocent night out with a female friend,
and all of a sudden, they're snapping pictures, they're sending
it to TMZ, and it's just creating drama in your
life that you don't necessarily need if you're open to it.
If you're like a Kanye Kim, where you invite drama
and negative publicity, you just want people talking about you.
Oh you talk about Kim and Kany I mean, I

(29:28):
think it's that Kim. I think it's the Kardashian effect.
I mean everybody, Now you don't have to actually have talent.
I'm not saying athletes don't, but now you could be
a superstar just from how many people you got watching
your snaps you can follow, you know what I mean.
You don't actually have to have an actual talent to
be famous, you know what I mean. And now you've
got young guys coming into the league and they want

(29:49):
to be famous. I mean they want. Some of them
already are yeah, thousand followers fresh out coming out of college.
I'm like, what, Realistically, it's gonna progressive get worse because
social media has captivated all and it's going to start
to get bigger and bigger. So that's what's gonna be
like ten draft to talk about know everything about it.

(30:10):
I talked about it all the time. Our NFL p
A has said that they have identified that five star
recruits in high school. There's almost eight chance that if
you're a five star recruiting in high school, you're gonna
make it to our leak. That's a very that's an
extremely high percentage. Okay, you need to educate them now
before they get pay check. After the Rookie Symposium, it's

(30:32):
too late. They already cash they've already cashed their check
turn ups too late. But you know, I got a
whole lot of different issues. What's different is that before
it was just the athlete who was a celebrity. Now
you see wives trying to be wife. What's up with that?
Give me your thoughts about that before we let you go,

(30:55):
Let's give me your thoughts about that. You know, it's challenging,
Like I feel like there are people saying, well, you
need to silence so like she's a kid or a
dog who needs to be muzzled. But at the same time,
as someone who's in a relationship, you have to have
respect for your partner and for his job and for
how what you do and what you say impacts what
he does for a living, Like this is your family

(31:17):
that you need to have in mind. And you can
have an opinion and you can voice that opinion. And
I love that she has an opinion, but there is
a way to put that opinion out there without affecting
your livelihood. Now, if I've played with guys and I
know guys and they you you probably played with guys
and know guys too, where just their personality, I don't
know Brent Grimes, but just their personality is kind of

(31:39):
I am gonna say, let people walk over passive, but
they're passive, real, real passive, like I don't want to
comfort and their better half is the aggressive, aggressive one.
And that's how they work. They work, they work good together,
like we've seen it. But I've seen that, you know
what I mean. And you got some people out there

(32:01):
that think, well, that's really Brett talking, you know what
I'm saying, And that's just see see me. And I'm
torn because you know, one part of me can respect
a woman's hustle, like she finds a lane or a window,
and then she makes something of it, you know, she
creates a brand or I'm just saying, but she's coat

(32:22):
telling her husband and and creating her old lane. But
then there's a part of me that's like, once you
do get some type of popularity, whether it's because of
something you're selling or whether it's your body that you're selling,
the images of who you are, don't act like the
superstar in the relationship. Don't walk around as if you're

(32:44):
the one, like Drake said, shooting in the gym. So
that that's that's what I'm saying, I have no problem
with going out there and doing her thing, But like
when you see the couple out and then the woman's
walking around like she just won the super Bowl, that
kind of it kind of gets to me because I know,
as a man and as a player, what it took to,

(33:04):
you know, go through a season. So you can't you
can't just jump in and play substitute as if you're
you're the superstar. But I ain'tn't even lie. They just
to play a little little small devils African, I feel
you is. I ain't gonna lie. My career took off
after I got married. Of course made me better. They
made my life of course, of course, and they do

(33:25):
a lot of that. Yeah, I'm not talking about credit,
but she has respect for yeah yeah yeah and completely different. Yeah,
I'm talking about a wife that overshines her husband. You
can't do that or outshines her boyfriend, because because you
still got to make the man feel like a man.
And that's a whole another, that's a whole another podcast, right,
podcast TV, We might have to ulla thanks for joining

(33:49):

I keep a private though, was saying I'm the type
to keep it. Yeah, but it's just sitting here and
I didn't. I don't know if he's throwing it out
there like hey, I'm single or I don't know. I'm
about to keep your plug. But you're working on Superbody scenes.
