Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today it's a Fantasy Live edition of the Fantasy Football Podcast.
I'm Patrick Claibond. I'll be joined by Marcus Grant and
Adam Rank.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's Week two. We'll preview our.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Top five fantasy matchups and tell you who will be
the top scores of the week, plus which Week one
performances were real and which ones were a mirage.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Everybody, Welcome to NFL Fantasy.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I've Patrick Clavon here kicking it with Adam Rank and
Marcus Grant, and whether or not your fantasy or real
life team suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the closing moments
like ours did, or gotta win like Marcus is did.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's Week two, Rank, everything else is over.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I don't want to go full Lasso on you, but
what's the happiest animal in the world.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
It's goldfish. Ten second memory be a goldfish, Move forward,
onward forward.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
I watched that scene from the end of Season one
right over again last night. I'm like, okay, I'm sad.
I was sad and alone though that was only that
was the only problem.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
I mean, if we're going we're going that way. I mean,
it's it's the hope that kills you, right it's the
fact that a team may look great for three quarters
and then suddenly find a way to kind of blow
it in the end. But you know, just keep studying
the tape, you get better, and you get another week
to try and work things out.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Speaking of the tape, let's go back to it for
Adam Burg.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Hey, you got what JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Right, No, you know what this has been somebody I've
been talking about for the entirety of the off season,
telling everybody I was not going to leave my draft
without JJ McCarthy, and I didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I did. I did bench him for.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Caleb, which actually paid off last night. But this is
one of the things this doesn't shock me. I expected
a pretty good performance from JJ McCarthy at some point,
really got got a rhythm, got got some great throws
in Adam Thiela makes a nice catch there. Justin Jefferson
out there making plays as well. This is gonna be
something we should expect to see out of the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Well they get his favorable calls that they did last said.
I don't know that.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I can't talk to Patrick, but I think that what
we saw from JJ McCarthy again is what you should
expect and the running was a nice bonus too.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Running was a nice bonus from JJ McCarthy, but also
the running from the guys in the backfield there because
early on, until McCarthy really found a rhythm, you saw Kevin.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
O'Connell leany on that running game.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Now, we came into the season thinking that Aaron Jones
was the RB one, and at least on paper, he
kind of was, but Jordan Mason was the better of
the two running backs last night. Now, Jones ended up
winning the fantasy points battle because he got that touchdown
late in the ball game, but there's no doubt that
by the eyes test, Jordan Mason looked like the better
guy out snapped Jones twenty eight to twenty three. So
now the question becomes going forward, is there a backfield

(02:44):
takeover in progress, is Jordan Mason pushing for more snaps,
or which would be maybe the worst case scenario for
fantasy managers, is this going to be a hot hand
situation where you never really know week to week who's
going to get most of the touches because it depends
on who's playing better in any given situation. But at
least for one night, anybody who invested in Jordan Mason
has to be feeling pretty good.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Now.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
You gotta feel really good about that Jordan Mason situation.
And I even feel positive about what is happening with
Caleb Williams. After that first drive, I was like, you know,
Caleb freaking Williams, like he's gonna go out there. This
is it, this is what we thought. And of course
the game ended the way it did. But you know what,
you cannot overlook the positives of the early part of

(03:24):
the game, you know, the early scripted parts, taking the
easy throws, taking the big throws, finding DeAndre Swift right there,
which was amazing. There are obviously some things for Caleb
to work on, like he missed some throws.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
He needs to get better at some things.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
But at the same time, he did a really nice
job of moving the ball up and down the field.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Especially in the early going.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Now, there were some penalties that were called that I
might or might not agree with, and I think a
lot of people, not even me. Kurt Warner was even
arguing about this too when I was listening to him
on the radio. There are some situations where they have
to get better, but there are gonna be good things
for Caleb Williams moving forward, and again, remember this team,
this Biking team last year gave up the fifth fewest

(04:05):
points in the league. He was going up against one
of the better defensive coordinators in the game. Let's give
Caleb Williams some more opportunity to go out there improve himself.
But I think that fantasy performances like this are going
to be in the.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Offering against the defense that improved, and you can make
case was even better upfront than they were in twenty
twenty four after they went out and got Jonathan Allen.
I would like to look at the other half of
a Bears connection in Romodunse a nice game that could
have been even nicer. As Rank mentioned, a couple of
those throws that might have gotten away from Caleb. There
was a great catch opportunity that would have been a

(04:39):
spectacular catch from Odonze that didn't turn out. And I
know that forty five percent of his points came on
that late touchdown, but yes it's a touchdown, still count.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
The points are cumulative.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
We add up the efforts of the entire sixty minutes
and it combines to fifteen point seven fantasy points. Non targets.
The highest target share on the team. He's still Caleb's
top target, which, ultimately speaking top brings us to the
ones as we get a look at back. Who was
the perfect lineup in week one? Josh Allen, your quarterback,
Derek Henry, You're running back in Fijan as well, Zay Flowers,

(05:14):
Coleman Johnson, Johnston Schrader, the kicker, and the Broncos defense,
all adding up to two hundred and fifteen point one
fantasy points.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
But again, we're putting week one in the mirror, in
the in the rearview mirror, looking ahead tow week two.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Who will be atop the fantasy leaderboards this time next week?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Give us a quarterback rank.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
I'm gonna go with Josh Allen because I want to
go over a point that we were we made on
yesterday's show where we are talking about the way that
we look at fantasy quarterbacks and everybody always says, hey,
wait on a quarterback I ain't get. I can get
a Jared Goff in week third in you know, round
thirty or whatever, and I'm like, that's nice.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Josh Allen is always.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Going to put you in contention to win a fantasy matchup,
especially if your league has bonuses for for.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
For yardage and things of that nature.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
So to me, we really need to start thinking about
taking Josh Allen in the first round. I know it
seems ridiculous, and I know you can find values at
every position in every round, but Josh Allen is one
of the safest picks in fantasy football, and if you
got him, you have to go into every week feeling
like you are going to win.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Well.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
One of the guys we thought was one of the
safest picks at quarterback was Joe Burrow.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
It didn't quite work out that way.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
In Week one, nobody figured that the Bengals would have
just seven yards of offense in the second half, But
then again, Miles Garrett seemed to be standing in the
huddle every time the Bengals walk to the line of scrimmage.
So they get away from that this week against the
Jacksonville Jaguars. This is an offense that tends to want
to be up tempo. They really want to run a
lot of plays, just forty nine plays overall last week,

(06:51):
just twenty three pass attempts last week. If you us
at Burrows had in a game he started and finished.
Since Week three of twenty twenty one. I think the
Bengals are gonna come back and wants remind everybody what
they can be offensively.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
So I think Joe Burrow is.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Gonna bro out and have a big, big game against
the defense.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
That is better but still has some holes there.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah, Marcus, the defense the key part of my choice
for the running back one, and I'm going to Arizona,
where James Connor I believe will be the RB one
because I am chasing this Carolina Panthers defense wherever it goes.
Right here in the States, overseas, they could be playing
in a super massive black hole or even light can escape,
and the other teams would still run for yards. Since
twenty twenty four, they've given up one hundred and forty

(07:31):
nine rush yards per game to the running backs. That's
the worst in the league. Seemingly nothing has changed. On
top of that, James Connor is still pretty good. He's
scored five touchdowns in his last five games.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I think he's gonna be the RB one.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
You know, you can feel safe playing Tray Benson as
well in an offense, but if you're gonna be chasing
the Carolina Panthers, I'm going to be chasing the New
Orleans Saints.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
You're like, who gets the Saints?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Oh, it's Christian McCaffrey, not even trying to be this
guy who's taking the most banal, obvious picks. But at
the same time, you gotta go out there and make
those choices. When you look at this forty nine offense. Now,
obviously George Kittle, we heard the news about him today.
There are not a lot of options anymore, you know,
when you look at it. Christian McCaffrey had ten targets
last week. I expect that number to actually increase or

(08:12):
at least remained the same. I mean, that's a nice
safe floor and you get that going up against the Saints,
who allowed the second most rushing yards per game since
twenty twenty four.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
This is the easiest choice you can make.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Yeah, Christian mccafy's going to get a lot of targets
this week. Another guy who's going to get a lot
of targets as we turned to wide receivers, is gonna
be Tyreek Hill. The Dolphins want to be a more
vertical pass attack. That was something they didn't have last year.
Didn't happen in Week one in part because they just
fell behind so much and had to become one dimensional.
They couldn't run the football. Indianapolis pretty much took everything

(08:44):
away from them. Toua had just two attempts of twenty
or more air yards last week.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
Now you know that.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
You contrast that, though, with the Raiders going against the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
That to the Dolphins face this week.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Gino Smith in Week one against New England four or
five for one hundred and twenty yards on throws.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
So I think this is going.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
To be a week where maybe Mike McDaniels maybe to
a tongue of blow and they try to force the issue,
and part of that being successful means they've got to
get the ball in the hands of Tyreek Hill. So
I think there's a bounce back coming. I don't know
if it's a win, but at least offensively, a bounce
back coming for the Dolphins.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
I'm projecting if Florida bounce back as well. Even though
Brian Thomas Jr. Did get in the end zone on
this run play on the reverse, but it's an opportunity
for him. In that Bengals game that you mentioned, Marcus where, yeah,
Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase T Higgins Chase Brown looked to
score significantly more points than they did against the Cleveland
Brown So perhaps a score best opportunity because looking over

(09:35):
at that Bengals defense that could not get any pressure
on Joe Flacco, and I'm watching Joe Flacco slowly move
around and still have time to find a wide receivers
some of them drop the ball. I think the Jacksonville
Jaguars will take advantage of those opportunities that the Bengals
defense presented. Rank mentioned some news about George Kittle. Let's
give you the full breakdown in case you missed it.

(09:56):
This from NFL Network and Sidner Tom Pellisero. George Kittle
is going to IR. They play four games in the
next twenty three days, including a Thursday night game in
week five. So if you have George Kittle, you are
able to utilize ther feature for one of the better
tight ends in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Don't text me.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
No more texting, right, it's about IR status please.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
More news coming in.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
The Eagles have made a trade Hollie Roseman, sending a
fifth and a sixth round pick in twenty twenty six
to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for Tank Bigsby. We
had some questions about the Jags backfield. It seems like
those questions, at least for the moment, have been answered.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Marcus, Yeah, it seems like that right, because we had
Travis Etn and Tank Bigsby listed as an or for
the RB one spot on the early depth chart. So
now that clears the way for Atn to be the
undisputed running back one there in Jacksonville. But I think
this opens the door for the rookie Bayshaw Tooton. A
lot of us were very excited about him. Didn't see

(10:59):
a whole lot of him in Week one. Played more
on special teams than he did on offense. It was
a lot of Laquin Allen. But I think we're gonna
see that sort of fade away as the season goes on.
Tooting a very explosive option. So for anybody who maybe
took that late round dart throw, don't panic after he
didn't play a lot in week one, hang on because
I think better days are going to be coming for
toot and soon.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
And if you have Tank Bigsby, you got to look
at your roster, your league and find out who has
Saquon Barkley and be like, listen, will Shipley's not going
to do you any good anymore. You got to go
out there and make that deal.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I know.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
It was one of those things I always felt going
into the draft if you could figure out if you
landed on the Jacksonville running back that ended up being
the RB one, that that could be a potential league winner.
It looks like it's going to be Travis Etn right now.
And sorry for all of you that chose Tank Bigsby.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah, we saw what Liam Cohen did, especially late in
the season down in Tampa Bay at a great opportunity
for those who got the right spot in Jacksonville.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
Now it is time for my five.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
With Week one one in the rearview mirror, we are
looking ahead to Week two and I've got five matchups
you're gonna want to keep your eye on in the
second week of the season. Starting at number five, it's
Michael Pennocks junior going against Brian Flores and the Minnesota
Vikings defense. Now, we saw Pinnicks have a pretty nice
start to his season, nearly three hundred passing yards in

(12:19):
Week one against the Buccaneers, also a rushing touchdown that
was great, But the Bucks still blits all that much.
On the flip side, Brian Flores likes to blitz a lot.
He did it a lot last night. He did it
a lot last year. No team blitz at a higher
rate than in Minnesota. Vikings Pinnicks under pressure in twenty
twenty four, just a forty one percent completion rate with
no touchdowns and one interception. We'll see how he does

(12:42):
when the difficulty level gets ratcheted up a bit. In
Week two, number four a Mecca Abuka versus Derek Stingly. Now,
it was a great NFL debut for Abuka. Four catches,
sixty seven yards and a pair of touchdowns, including what
turned out to be the game winner. Not expecting Stingley
to travel with Mike Evans, I think he's gonna match
up against both receivers over the course of the day. Now,

(13:03):
he had a tough time against Devontae Adams.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
But there's no shame and that a lot of guys
have done that.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
Four catches, fifty one yards allowed on six targets. But
Stinkley in twenty four, twenty twenty four forty seven percent
catch rate, just four point nine yards per target. This
looks like it could be the first big test for
Amecca Abuka in the NFL. On to number three Michael
Pittman Junior against Patrick Cirtan the second. Now, Sir Tan
locked up Calvin Ridley in Week one twenty seven routes,

(13:30):
just one target, no receptions.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Now, these two faced off last.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Year in Week fifteen, sixteen routes for Pittman, one target,
no receptions against Sir Tan. The Colts had got to
do whatever they wanted against the.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
Dolphins in Week one.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
This looks like could be a much tougher test for
Indianapolis in week two. At number two, we're going justin
fields against the Buffalo Bills run defense. Now, the Bills
had a top twelve rush defense last year, although they
had trouble with running quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson had Kyler Murray
each went over fifty rush yards against the Bills in
twenty twenty four. Now, in Week one, the Ravens ran

(14:05):
for two hundred and thirty eight yards. Is that a
Buffalo run defense issue or did they just play the
Baltimore Ravens. I think we'll get a better description of
how that worked out what we see justin field against
the Bills in Week two and at number one, Jalen
Hurts against the Kansas City Chiefs, more specifically, Jalen Hurts
against that Chiefs rush defense.

Speaker 5 (14:26):
Kansas City struggled.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
To get a lot of pressure on Justin Herbert in
Week one. It blits a lot, but still Herbert seemed
to have time to throw. Chiefs couldn't get a lot
of pressure on Jalen Hurts in the Super Bowl and
they blitzed them just eight times in that one.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
Will Steve Spagnolo bring more pressure?

Speaker 4 (14:42):
If so, can they keep containing on Hurts and prevent
him from getting outside and running? Justin Herbert had seven
carries for thirty two yards in week one. Tests to
see if Hurts can get his bass catchers involved or
if he.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Does it more with his leg. So there you go.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Five spicy matchups to watch in week two. Though, I
think a spicy is what Adam Raik has going on
with the Waiver Wire Hot Sauce.

Speaker 6 (15:01):
That's right, thank you, Marcus. Is time for the season debut.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Of the Waiver Wire Hot Sauce.

Speaker 6 (15:07):
And he get us started.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
We're gonna go to a place not necessarily known for
its spice. We're talking about Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. No disrespect to you, Pittsburgh.
But when your idea of hot sauce is ketchup, I
don't think that he really belong in this category. But
let's talk about Aaron Rodgers, who was about He wasn't
quite Siracha level, but at the same time was pretty
good in Week one against the Jets.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
He was sitting there.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
He was in a revenge focus mentality, going up against
the team that hired him and all his buddies, and
he got all the guys fired and whatever.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Aaron Rodgers four touchdown passes.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Now.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
The one thing that keeps this mild is the fact
that his average per attempt was like less than five yards,
so it might not be he was very touchdown dependent
in this one.

Speaker 6 (15:52):
We will still see.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
I don't know if he has a grudge against the
team against the Seattle Seahawks. We'll find out this weekend.
But somebody to keep in mind. All right, let's move on, boo.
If you want to get a little spicy, want to
get a little spicy. Michael Pennix Junior played very well
in Week one against the Tama Day Buccaneers, and as
Marcus mentioned a moment ago, he's got a very tough
matchup against the Minnesota Vikings this week. However, I do

(16:15):
believe that he has some opportunities coming up over the
course of the season. This might be one that you
want to go out there and get ahead up because
if he has a great game this week, it is
going to become more difficult to go out and add
him to your lineup. We should see him going out
there breaking out again.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
This is it.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
This is a great litmus test for him.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
And there you go by the way boom, All right,
let's go three alarm. We're raising the three alarm bell.
We're going down to New Orleans. We're looking for a
tight end replacement because George Kittle is going to be
on IR and Juwan Johnson is the pick dejor. It's
funny to me because for everybody who sits here in
drags Kyle Pitts, everybody makes jokes about Kyle pitch. Oh,

(16:56):
I'll never drive, never doing this Kyle Pitts thing again.
I want to go look at his rostership on every
platform through the roof. But Juwan Johnson is available in
just about every single fantasy football league except for the
two percent of you. And I got to assume it's
all Saints fans going out there.

Speaker 6 (17:14):
T Bob is out there. T Bob a bear, and
that's it.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
He's the only guy who's ever picked up Juwan Johnson.
But if you do need a tight end replacement, that
is your three alarm choice.

Speaker 6 (17:23):
And now it is time. Oh Chucky, Sorry, that was
a good toss, held Oblo.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
We got to go to the college tape for Quinchhn Junkins,
who is going to be getting an opportunity with the
Cleveland Browns here in the near future.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
It looks we don't know, there's still some.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Questions about possible disciplinary action or anything like that. But
the one thing that mass so diabolical is the fact
that we saw Dylan Samson go out there and kill it.
Dylan Samson looks so good he was catching the ball.
If there is something in the Browns history that they
love to do is find something that's working really well

(18:00):
and be like, yeah, we're not gonna do that anymore.
Remember when they got rid of Baker Mayfield after he
led a playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers Joe Flacco
two years ago.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
They always seem to do this, like Dylan Sampson is good.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Why not use them?

Speaker 3 (18:14):
But you know what that means that Quinn Shawn Judkins
is going.

Speaker 6 (18:17):
To get an opportunity at some point.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
And even if it's just a stash chunky, even if
it's just a stash.

Speaker 6 (18:23):
And by the way, who throws a card a card?
Are you kidding me? Who does that?

Speaker 2 (18:27):
There? It is?

Speaker 3 (18:28):
That is your weaver Waiver Weaver wire, waiver wire hot
sauce for week one, Now come.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
Up next on NFL Fantasy Live.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
I thought I made a compelling point yesterday that we
need We've seen enough.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Of Russell Wilson. We gotta get rid of them. We
gotta save Malik Neighbors. How do we do that? Let's
save them, Let's talk about it here. Come back soon, please, We're.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Back on Fantasy.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
A lot of the NFL International games return NFL Network
on September twenty eight. Six games four cities doublin London, Berlin,
and Madrid.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Snooze off game on.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
For Sunday morning only on NFL Network, also streaming with
NFL Plus subscription required. For NFL Plus visit plus dot
NFL dot com.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Four terms time.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
For higher or lower if you like fantasy points. We
got two choices for you.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah, higher or lower.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
At a market script, we will start, Yes, it's a
family show with Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
So was Rob back in the day higher or lower
than eighteen point three points a week two wreck?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
You know, I think anybody who watched the Super Bowl
will be like, Oh, that's definitely gonna be lower.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
But I'm gonna go the other way.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
I'm gonna say it's gonna be much higher for Patrick
mahone because, including that Super Bowl, Patrick Mahomes has averaged
about twenty four fantasy points per game against the Philadelphia
Eagles defense. So I think there'll be a pretty good
opportunity over here. He's had at least twenty five fantasy
points per game in the last three thirteen career touch

(19:57):
thirteen career touchdown passes against his Eagles defense in four games. Again,
the Super Bowl is probably going to throw you off,
But from a fantasy I know a lot of us
weren't playing fantasy that day, But from a fantasy perspective,
that actually was a decent game because they went out
there and threw for a ton of yards and a
ton of touchdowns even though it was super leated.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
All Right, Again, these are all NFL dot Com projections.
We'll go to another team that's ahead of the Chiefs
right now on the division. Bon Knicks and the Denver
Broncos projection seventeen points higher or lower.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
Marcus script, I'm gonna go higher for bow Knicks.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
It wasn't a great Week one for bo Knicks or
the Broncos offense. But the thing I looked at they
threw the ball forty times in a game that was
mostly a neutral games script. I mean, they ended up winning,
but they never really jumped out to a big lead,
and they.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Just kept throwing the football a lot. It gotta be
a lot more.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Efficient this week than they were last week, for sure.
But we also like the fact that bo Nicks is
gonna get out and run. Had at least twenty rushing
yards in ten games last season. You can count that
as like at least two, maybe even more of those
hidden points that we love so much. So I think
we're gonna see bo Knicks and that offense kind of
get into gear this week against Indiana, an.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Offense that would like to get into gear after basically
doing nothing in Week one. The Cincinnati Bengals projection is
eighteen point eight for Chase Brown, right, Carlo.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
I mean, Chase Brown was pretty good and I'm gonna
go once again. I'm gonna go higher with Chase Brown
going up against a Jacksonville defense that has allowed this
second most total yards per game since twenty twenty four.
This team just allows offenses to march up and down
the field. Just like that train in Tuesday's gone, Chase

(21:29):
Brown will be gone into the end zone in this one.
I think this is a pretty easy, pretty easy one.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
We've seen this since last year.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Ever since he took over this backfield, He's made the
most of his opportunities. He had twenty four opportunities in
Week one, which was the second most in the NFL.
I anticipate another game with at least twenty chances.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
There we go. Congratulations to Chase Brown.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
We will leave him and go to another running back
in his second career game, Ashton DMPTI projection Marcus sixteen
point nine fantasy points.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Against the Chargers.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
Higher or Lower.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
I'm gonna be the bear bad news here because the
seconds called higher or lower. If I didn't, if somebody
didn't go lower, it'll just be called higher. And that's
not really a fun segment. I'm gonna lower here for
Ashton Gent. Don't panic. If you spent the first round
pick on him, He's going to have some big games.
The problem is the Raiders threw the ball a lot
more than we were anticipating last week. Thirty eight pass

(22:20):
plays for the Raiders. Gent so far not looking like
a big part of the passing game, and the Chargers
have been tough on running backs and especially in fantasy.
Last year, only four guys got over that sixteen point
nine mark against the Chargers, and of those four, three
of them were guys who do a lot of pass catching.
Gent just doesn't really seem to be that guy again.

(22:40):
There will be weeks where he gets a lot of
touches and he has a lot of production, but I
think this week you are begging for a touchdown and
a lot of yards on the ground for him to
get there, and I'm just not sure he does it.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Against the Bolts.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
So our first lower up the segment, which does it does.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Make it more fun, but gasa a guy who didn't
have a lot of fun, even though he's still.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Got a lot of action.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Elik Neighbors yelling at both it's looked tough on offense.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Hire lower than thirteen point seven.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
You know it's gonna be tough because with Micah Parsons
on the other side of the ball against what's that now,
Oh my God's right, Michael Parsons was traded. Oh okay,
so yeah, you know what again, We talked about this
on yesterday's show. I really don't know, and I'm sorry
I've not.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
Seen the All twenty twos.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
I still don't know if it is an issue of
receivers not getting open or if the offensive line is
not playing well.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
But Russell Wilson Nieces has started taking some chances.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
I think he understands the situation that Jackson dark Jamis Winston.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Are both very capable.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
If he wants to remain the starting quarterback of the
New York Giants, he needs to start getting the ball
totimate League Neighbors, and I believe it happens this week
against the Dallas Cowboys, a team that Milait Neighbors has
done very well against in his previous two outings.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Right, let's finish things up, Marcus.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
With Devonte Adams higher or lower than twelve point one
projected against the Tennessee's arts, I'm.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Going with higher on this one. Look, we love the
eight targets for Devonte in week one, that he only
caught four of them, yeah, a little bit of a disappointment,
But that's also keeping that It's not like Matthew Stafford
and DeVante Adams had a lot of time in training
camp to sort of build that rapport with one another.
I mean they're still sort of working on that. I
think the learning curve is going to be short. I
think these are two really talented veteran guys who've been

(24:12):
around this league for a while.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
To figure things out.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
The other part of this is the Titans defense doesn't
project to be as rough and physical. I mean that
the Texans are physical. They're gonna come out and punch
you in the mouth. I don't know that the Titans
are going to do that. So I think we see
Devonte Adams have his first really big game as a RAM.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Stafford should go to DeVante's house and have some taco Yeah, just.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
Have the taco bell. Do you have that guy in
speed dial?

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Another taco bell in my house.

Speaker 6 (24:38):
Hopefully he's allowed to.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Leave, because you know, we want protections for all workers,
even if you're in the taco bell inside of DeVante
Adams house.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
They screen it right. Oh, why Tyler Warren gets out
of a tackle angling that.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
First down in war were talent that Tex the big
Phillip Tyler Warren.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Oh, he's got lumber down.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
To the thirty one yard line of Miami and pick.

Speaker 6 (24:58):
Up fourteen in the first Oh, what a great cut.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
He laid two of them down, they broke their ankles
and then he ran through.

Speaker 5 (25:06):
It looked like a bowling ball.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Oh my god, did we strike it rich on this guy?
As Tyler Warren had.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Multiple Dolphins defenders tackling and after himage, it's time for
real or mirage with NFL Fantasy Live paranormal expert, perhaps
Marcus Grant to tell us whether or not some things
we saw in Week one were real or were they
figments our imagination, starting with those nine targets for the
rookie Tyler Warren.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Real or mirage, Marcus.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Yeah, if we're doing some conjuring here, I'm gonna conjure
up something that's real for you.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
With Tyler Warren.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
What I saw from Warren in the offense in Week
one was a lot of what I saw from Warren
in the offense in the preseason when he is on
the field, they are looking for him.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
And it didn't really matter.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
In the preseason what quarterback it was. It was Daniel Jones,
it was Anthony Richardson. They were going in Tyler Warren's
direction in the preseason four catches on six targets, ran
twenty two routes, targeted on twenty seven percent of his
routes in the preseason and we saw a lot of
that in Week.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
One as well.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
After one week Well, I know, look, I get it,
it's only one game, right, overreaction theater is a real thing,
But after watching the way they use him, I would
not be surprised Patrick if Tyler Warren actually leads the
Colton targets by the end of the season.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
I'm right there with you, especially saying as the way
the first game went, and also shout out to Danny
Dimes a bit of a surprise. They're also a surprise,
ends of the chagrin of a lot of folks in
New Jersey. Aaron Rodgers had four touchdown passes. Marcus, was
that real or I'm a Roan?

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Yeah, that's more of a as Yosemitie with Sam Let's
say a Miraji.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
I think is kind of what that was.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
And I know he made it into the waiver wire
hot sauce, and yes, he definitely exceeded our expectations in
Week one. I don't think it's a stretch to say
I don't think he can continue this touchdown production all
season long. Rank pointed out the low average yards per
attempt for Aaron Rodgers. Also, he was under pressure quite
a bit from the Jets, sacked four times, sacked on

(26:53):
nearly twelve percent of his dropbacks. So unless the protection
gets a little bit better, and for me, they need
to find some more consistent pass catchers at wide receiver
beyond just DK Metcalf. This offense cannot survive on Ben's
skeronic touchdowns. I'm gonna say this is a little bit
of a mirage, Families, Marcus.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Let's go over to a guy who was doing a
lot of eating in the preseason. That's Trevion Henderson. But
then you look at the snapshare just thirty three percent.
Was that a real or a mirage? That was a mirage?

Speaker 4 (27:22):
So I think if you are a Travion Henderson manager,
it's a mirage that is gonna get better.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
It's going to start going up.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
We knew Ramindre Stevenson was still going to have a
role in this offense. He was listed as the RB one,
they used him as such, but Henderson was a lot
more productive. And we saw late in that ball game
with the Patriots trying to come back against the Raiders,
it was Henderson that was out there and they were
throwing him the football a lot.

Speaker 5 (27:45):
So I think we're.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Gonna see the Pats try to ease him in a
little bit. I think they sort of know what they
have with Ramindre Stevenson. I don't think they're all that
excited to give a big workload to Antonio Gibson.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
So this was a little bit disappointing in Week one,
but I do think it's gonna get better. So three
percent feels like a mirage to me.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Let's keep it in the snapshare department and go over
to Seattle where Zach Sharboney had fifty eight percent snap shares.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
That real or mirage?

Speaker 6 (28:10):
That is real?

Speaker 4 (28:11):
You know, I think they're gonna be I know there's
a lot of craft brewers up there and in the
Seattle area, but you might be sipping scharbon a if
you like fantasy football or you like the Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
There.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
He's been challenging for Kenneth Walker's RB one job all
summer long, and if you watch that game against the
forty nine ers, Charbone was the more assertive and the
more productive back in week one.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
He also took a lot.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Of this short yardage work. He took all of the
goal line snaps. So there had been chatter that a
backfield takeover could be coming in Seattle, and I think
after week one we got a sense that Zach Sharboney
really might end up, if not soon, if not already,
then very soon as the lead running back there for
that Seattle offense.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
That's a look at real or mirage with Marcus script.
We'll be back with Marcus in a little bit.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
But it's time for me to get a little fantasy therapy,
because you know, folks is defined as an optical illusion
created by atmospheric conditions. But you know who uses words
like that, scientists and people that do research and all.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
That mumbo jumbo. I personally don't believe in any of that.
I believe in two things.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
One the podcast that I listen to that tells me
I'm a big, strong man with good opinions and it's
the player's fault when I lose the fantasy football like
the number one overall pick, Jamar Chase. Do you know
what I did, Jamar to get the number one overall picked.
It was a lot and I went out there and worked,
and you got.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Four point six points.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
The entire Houston Texans receiving group.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
Outscored Jamar Chase.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
So I'm writing a sternly.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Worded letter to the Bayou Bengals, to Louisiana State University
because you and Joe Burrow failed me.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Jamar Holle and had Patrick.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
I know you're just out here asking questions, just trying
to find out some information with man, we should have
seen this game coming from Jamar Chase. Man, anybody who
studies the game that Jamar Chase just doesn't play well
against the Cleveland Browns.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Why, dude, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Perhaps it's the fact that Lake Erie has no ways, Like, dude,
how do you have a body of water that big
in no ways? I would be morose as well, and
I don't even know if I would be able to
go out there and handle it.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
But it's just one of those things.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Man.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
You can't get agro, don't get mad. At the equipment.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
It's like when my boy Skip got mad, Like one
time he paddled out it was flat.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
He thought.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
He started blaming his Harbor surpboard. I'm like, dude, you
can ship it to me or you want or else.
You can just paddle out next week and do your best,
which is what I suggest you do with Jamar Chase,
because when it comes to my dude, Jamar, you got
a chill bron it.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Only makes sense.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Thank you so much, rick Man, because wide receivers, you know,
productions sometimes can go up and down. It was down
for Arthur Wan Brown. You come here and let's have
a discussion. I don't need you to read sell help books.
I need you to read help me books and go
in the entire game without getting targets and you finally
get one and.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
One catch that goes nothing for me.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Aj Oh the team won doesn't do anything for me.
I need you to go demand not just to the
Philadelphia Eagles, but to the Dallas Cowboys. Oh they're playing
Z so you get them and you say, plate man.
I need you to be elite neighbors on the sideline.
I need you to be calm and talk about winning.
I need points AJ, So here's what we're.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Gonna heay, man, Hey, can you grab a book right
now and just start reading it, because like, look, man,
like I might not have ever played the game, and
I get that, but dude, I can see that one
reception for eight yards. That's not cool, man, Just like
any halle Coo can stand there on the shore. They
could be there from Beaumont, California. But understand, dude, if

(31:47):
I get caught inside and the wave crashes down on me,
they look out and they're like, yeah, that was less
than ideal.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
And that's a fair criticism. Man.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
You don't have to go out there and pearl dive
to understand when a dude's getting as in the wash.
And I get all that, but dude, AJ.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Brown has been like one of the most reliable dudes
going out there.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
I went back, I looked at the numbers and all
that stuff, and it shows me valuable consistent player. Like
every once in a while, you're gonna wake up. You're
gonna see that the flag's blowing the wrong way. Maybe
it's a little overcast, maybe it's all soupy, maybe it's
all flat, and you're like, you know what, man, today's
just not that day. And that's exactly what happened with

(32:27):
aj Brown. So when it comes to when it comes
to aj Man, you gotta chip bruh.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
I should, I should thank you so much because you
can only spend so much time getting upset at wide receivers.
When you draft a quarterback and they score less than
eight points, they get Oh well, I can wait, I
can wait and get Dak Prescott.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
He's back. He's gonna throw the ball a lot.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
No, it didn't matter, And I don't care what Gazelle says.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
You can throw the ball.

Speaker 6 (32:53):
And catch it.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Plenty of people have done it. They're making drops. You
throw it again, deck, the defense runs out of the field. No,
you take the ball from the referee, you bring the
offensive back off. You score more point. It fantasy points
for me, okay, because you're being selfish out there.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
No, what hold on, bro, Like it's the exact opposite
of that, dude, Like listen man.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Jerry Jones might.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Have made a big deal by getting rid of Micah Parsons,
but he kept all like the solid dudes out there,
the good bros, because like Dak Prescott was out there
making sure that all of his Groms were out there
getting fed.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Dude.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
It's like sometimes you're out in the lineup and I
was sitting there the other day and I start paddling
for this epic wave and I saw this little toe headed,
like eight year old just come paddling in, and I'm like,
you know what, man, I could totally drop in on
this guy where I could sit here and let him
go out there and ride that wave. And that's exactly
what Dak Prescott did. He saw Gavante Williams out there

(33:49):
looking so cool, his number thirty three jersey. He's like, man,
I gotta get this grom the ball. Let him score
a couple of tuddies, because Dak knows.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Man.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
Just as I looked outside and saw another set rolling in,
Dak Prescott realizes there's going to be more opportunities for him.
Ce d Lamb, George Pickens, like, there's so much to
go around, So listen, I'm not gonna take this about
Dak Prescott. Like I'm like, I don't mean to get
agro on you, but like when it comes to Dak,
you got a chill bro, And yeah, I'm saying it

(34:21):
that way.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Chill bra, not a chill bro Now chill bra.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
A direct chill br and I will I will chill
on Dak Prescott and everybody, because it's not the player's fault.
You made the decision to put them in the game
in the first right, A lot of folks made.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
Decisions to put Jackson Smith in Jigma and then felt
great about it.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
In Week one, we're taking a deep dive through the
numbers to explain why that production is probably sustainable and
reveal a few more steps you need to know.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Coming up next on NFL Fantasy Love, and.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
It's time for us to crowd our very first Cardio
King of the season Week one US winner.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Get him a celebratory energy goo.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
It's Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton, tracked by next Gen
Stats running.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
A total of one thousand and eighty one yards.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Around Northwest Stadium on Sunday, did not pick up a
single Fantasy point in the process. It is no good
for us in Fantasy Darius. I know it's frustrating for you,
but at the very least you got your cardio in.
So Darius Layton is our Cardio King as we welcome
back Marcus Grant and Adam Rank here because we have
a new exciting tool that we want to share with you.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Over on NFL Pro. There's a new fantasy.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Menu that gives you so many different options for how
you can evaluate a set of fantasy focused stats. We've
been digging into it and we got some nuggets for
you that we have harvested from its bountiful just fields
of stats.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
Marcus, what is yours?

Speaker 5 (35:47):
Well?

Speaker 4 (35:47):
I was looking at Jackson Smith and Jigbuck because coming
into the season, we knew Cooper Cupp was there in Seattle.
Now is gonna move JSN out of the slot have
him play out?

Speaker 6 (35:56):
Why?

Speaker 4 (35:56):
We weren't sure whether or not he was going to
be successful out there. Well, after one week, he was
incredibly successful. I counted for eighty two point seven percent
of Seattle's receiving yards, thirteen targets for JSN. All the
other Seahawks combined had nine targets one hundred and twenty
four receiving yards for Jackson Smith in Jigba.

Speaker 5 (36:17):
So look, if you invested in him, that looks great.
I would say. The only concern is this, it's hard
to say this is.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Sustainable just because at some point you become a little
bit two one dimensional. So you would like to see
whether it's Kenneth, whether it's a Cooper Cup, maybe Kenneth Walker,
Tory Horton, somebody else kind of become a bigger part
of the passing game, just to make Sam Donald a
little less predictable.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
But I think we can erase any.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Doubts about whether or not JSN can be successful even
after moving out of the slot.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Yeah, it's a good news bad news type situation because
the Seahawks passing game didn't do much. But the one
piece of the Seahawks offense that we wanted was the
guy that went off what was yours?

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Right?

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Well, I want him to look at Zay Flowers because
I think both you and I both are looking for
that number one wide receiver to step up. And I
really felt this was Zay flowers best game as a pro.
And what you see he had one hundred and forty
three receiving yards, which was a career high.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
But what else is there?

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Well, when you go out there and you use this,
you see he had six point eight yards per route
run in Week one, that was the highest total in
the NFL. One of the things too, he had forty
seven percent of the team's targets. He led the NFL
with ninety two yards after the catch, and there's a
lot of.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
Good things going on with Zay Flowers.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
So for me trying to really go down and drill
down and find is this something that's going to be sustainable?

Speaker 2 (37:32):
I really think it is.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
I think that we overlook Lamar Jackson's passing ability because
of how.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Dynamic he is as a runner, But he was.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Really putting it on the money for Day and then
Day is just doing his thing right here. This is
part of that big, big reason why he had the
ninety two yards after the catch. So this is something
that I'm looking forward to being unlocked because not only
do I have a lot of Lamar Jackson this season,
I did double up and did stack him with Jay Flowers.
So if this is the kind of production we're going

(38:01):
to get, I'm very optimistic about this moving forward.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Yeah, And I think that's the good thing there is
hoping and believing that Jay Flowers can sustain this because,
as you mentioned, as excited as we are for Lamar Jackson,
as excited as we are for Derrick Henry, I think
there was a little trepidation about drafting Jay Flowers and
wondering what the week to week production was going to
look like.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
So seeing this, seeing.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Do it against a good team like the Buffalo Bills,
I think you can give you a little bit more faith
that now there is another piece of this Baltimore offense
that we can be excited about on a weekly basis.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Yeah, just because an offense runs the ball a lot
and has a lot of success, do it, and it
doesn't mean that it can't support pass cash as we
saw the Philadelphia Eagles do.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
That last season.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
And I know that there was off season trade potential
discussion regarding Dallas Goddard. Maybe that caused him to fall
down the tight end ranks, but he had a thirty
point four percent target share in Week one, is the
third highest among all tight ends. And yes, this offense
can still support him. He's running those drag routes across
the field where teams have to pay it time to

(39:00):
both Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley. Obviously DeVante Smith as
well as AJ Brown are going to gar on a retention.
So yeah, Dallas Goddard still Fantasy viable.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
Well, it was somebody that I was noticing as well,
Like during Fantasy drafts. People were not picking Dallas Goddard.
He was falling further and further down draft boards. So
now again as we hear the news about George Kittle,
George Kittle's gonna be put on the IR is this
the guy who's going to be available in your league again.
I don't want to go out there and say go go,
but give it, give it a look.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
I mean, go check.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
I know that everybody loves any time you tweet this
out that everybody's gonna be like I wish I was. Okay, yeah,
you wish you're in a league where Dallas Goddard was available.
But it's worth checking, worth looking because I saw a
lot of leagues where.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
He was not being picked.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
But the numbers showed from Thursday that he's going to
be very viable in this offense.

Speaker 4 (39:47):
Look, if nothing else, I mean, tight end is the
shallowest position in all of fantasy football. If we can
get one more name that we can rely on on
a week's week basis, that's a good thing for us.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
We're back on NFL Fantasy Live and it's victory Tuesday
for half of Congratulations to those who were able to
get a win. We're gonna go over what you did
to get those wins and discuss here on NFL fans.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
So first one up for.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Adam Rank it is Reggie who has Josh Allen. Only
needed seven, he got thirty eight. This is what we're
talking about. When you have Josh Allen, it's always like
having a chip in a chair. You always have an
opportunity to win, no matter what the deficit.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
All right, Marcus, this one is for you.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
As Corey has Keon Coleman in the flex is the
dice roll came up big for him.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
I think you're gonna be happy with Keon Coleman. I
think this is the start of something big for him
this season.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Now, the start of something new feels so right, Corey.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Let's go to Kensational.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Starting JJ McCarthy over Russell Wilson was super Flexlee.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
I'd say that was a good call, right.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
You know.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
I was gonna say, even as a fan, a supporter
of the Chicago Bears, I would have thought you to
be an insane person if you had started Russell Wilson
over JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
Great call was.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
They have Ruska Cook in week two, he's gonna start.
Let's go to Nick Sweet bench brock Perty and started Herbo.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
Good call, Marcus, definitely a good call. I think Herbo
is gonna have a good year this year. Plus right now,
with so many guys beat up in San Francisco, I'd
probably away from brock Pirty too.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
All right.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
One for you rank it is from James picked up
John hus Smith off Waivers started him over Colston Love
one savvy MoU.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
I think that one of the issues with the Pittsburgh
Steelers is trying to figure out who the prime pass
catcher is going to be. Obviously we think Debo is
going to get a lot of it, but or Debo DK.
But at the same time, who is going to be
that number two option? And I think they John new
Smith has a real opportunity there. Although Ben Scaroni's.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
There as well, so yes, and Ben Scaronick world champion again,
Ben Scarron, it looks.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Like one of the Robinson brothers. I swear, Marcus, you
gotta win. You want to tell the folks about I did.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
I took down the defending champ in the Fantasy Livelyague,
Hythan Kilani by point two points.

Speaker 5 (41:40):
Shout out to T. J.

Speaker 4 (41:41):
Hawkins, and didn't do a lot did just enough that
Cheschi had in the fourth quarters, but put me over
the top.

Speaker 5 (41:46):
So I start one to ohero. Sorry hythem, Sorry, not sorry.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
He's also a Bear supporter, so he was sitting there
not only trying to sweat out a fantasy victory, but
he watched that fourth quarter unfold.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
So poor.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
I'm sorry, But he's a champion in this league. He's
not on the show, but he's the champion of this league.
Time champion, could you imagine? Yeah, it's like one of
those things like if the WWE champion just was somebody
who wasn't on screen. Ever, You're like, who is it?
It's Bruce Pritchard, Like he's the champion. He's the w
W champion, but we never see him.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
We'll see you back here for NFL Fantasy Live coming
up tomorrow for Adam Rank and Marcus Grant.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
I'm Patrick Claiborn. Good luck in week two. We'll see
you on Wednesday. The Insiders is coming up next. Not
good luck to him.
