On the latest Off the Edge with Cam Jordan, Cams is joined by his teammate, and Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle, Khalen Saunders. As we head into Week 18, Khalen tells Cam about his wild Week 18 experience in 2020 playing the must unlikely position for a 320-pound man. He also shares what it was like being part of two of the Kansas City Chiefs recent Super Bowl wins, and coach Andy Reid’s secret sauce that keeps that team in constant contention. Khalen also tells the inside story of the Taylor Swift connection that made national news because of an interception. Khalen – a.k.a. “Saint Binks” – is also an accomplished rapper, and he shares how he’s made music with many artists, including a Chiefs janitor. All that, and more, in a conversation you don’t want to miss.

The Off the Edge with Cam Jordan podcast is a production of the NFL in partnership with iHeart Media.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
Well, throwing back to Off the Edge, the podcast with
you know, the host with the most Cam Jordan's I'm here.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I'm not so so much.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Proud of the season, but I'm I'm proud to have
you know, great teammates, great a great job, an amazing family,
people that are healthy. I'm super excited to just kick
off this show knowing that we've got a lot to
talk about, especially in the game played last couple of
weeks because my dog, you know, my dog has been specialist.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Last two weeks.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
My guy, Colin Sanders, Colin not Kaitlin, don't play with
this man aka Sir Bank being Tavious called well the
post Sir Binkie, Sir Bink's a lot. How many other
monikers do you have? You know, six years in the
NFL and bank Bank it's taken over Colin. Anyways, if

(00:52):
you know him, you call him bank.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, absolutely, I don't even know if I got like
it's like it's at least about forty of my parents
floaded around somewhere about you know what I'm saying. Just
anything you can think of, just started banking there. It'll
be all right.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
My new favorite is Sir binks A lot I'm not sure.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Yeah, I haven't hearing now I'm hearing that on a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yea, yeah, sir binks a lot. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. My favorite, my all
time favorites. Uh, the Big Tabo is called will Pope Pop.
It just fits so well, it's just it's just perfect.
That's that was the original, the original original.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Skip to skip to My Lou the Lou chain on.
Because you come from Saint Louis, Missouri.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Absolutely absolutely you know the highs and the low you know,
through it all, through it all, man, I represent.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, I mean the nickname big it comes from basketball football.
I know, I know. It's it's all about, you know,
the movement when you give somebody that.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
He needs absolutely helius basketball.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
You know, I like to say I'll be hooping out there,
you know what I mean. You know what I'm saying,
No ball, but ain't nothing. Just like you hit a
little heassy coming off the edge, that's the same thing.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
First of all, you just said edge was the last
time you came off the edge?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Bank.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You can play linebacker, you can play food back. You
should have had a tight end play this. But they
let me come off the edge. How are you gonna
let you come off there? The edge is crowding right
edges overcity.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Last time I came off the edge till the eighteen,
the good old next baby.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yeah, you know the yeah, the rough neck, the leathernuts.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah, man, go next.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Man, that's a crazy I hope go like that's that's
crazy to put out there. You know you're too talking
about champion. You can say whatever the hell you want.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Hey man, I'm just I just like to represent where
I come from. You never go far out where you
came from, baby.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Facts facts bro.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Immediately, I'm just gonna dive into two weeks ago Green Bay.
You about to get an interception.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Walk me through this.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
You know Tono hits hits, Jordan Love, You popped the
ball up to yourself.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
It gave me.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
It gave nostalogic because I did the same thing against
Detroit Lions years ago.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
He was about to catch it, and then you got clober.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
Colin Saunders got his hand on it, and then about
three different Saints players had a shot at an easy
interception and nobody could.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Come up with it but one or two. It was two.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
It was Pete and Alonte Taylor and then and then
Tay saw you have it and gave a mean punch
out like if I can't get.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
It, like this man was too locked in.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
I say, bro, I know, like I am not a
small human being brother, like you know, I'm very wide,
very block built I and I accept those things. So
I know you couldn't see my big, wide, block built
the heads coming towards you.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Oh man, last time we saw Colin Saunders on Monday night,
he took one and looked like a running back with
the ball in his hands. He looked like he was
gonna get another opportunity tonight he had it and then
a lot Teke Taylor. You can see the frustration he
thought he was made for prime time live bullets.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Man, you can't be mad at them. But man, yeah,
that was supposed to be two of them on the year.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Hey, could it could have added to the list of
things you can do? You would have put it in
what dB Like you got real snaps at middle linebacker.
We can't city real snaps, not like five ten, like thirty.
It is like about twenty five going sideline to solide

(04:50):
from nose tackle to middle linebacker. Explain yourself, because I'll
be trying to tell people like, no, we had a
nose tackle bag like he could do it all.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
For real, for real.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
He bro like one thing my dad told me. Say
something they tell you, ask you what you play. You're
telling me play football, man, and that's that's my mantra.
But I play football, but I know how to go
get the ball.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
I know how to.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Defend plays, and you know what I'm saying, Like, I
just I just got to play ball, man.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Explain how you got to linebackers, sir. He was in
a game.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You started that nose tackle, he was playing in nose tackle,
and then all of a sudden, see all.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Right, so this is what happened man. We was, uh,
you know, I was on the Chiefs, I believe twenty
twenty and we were I believe, like fourteen and one
or something going into the last game. So like we
didn't need the last game for you know places. You know,
we didn't need to place. We was already number one
in the AFC, so we rested everybody. We only had

(05:47):
like two linebackers up right, like Willie Gay and somebody else.
I can't remember who else. First drive like second drive
of the series, Willy breaks his ankle, Like we are
down to one linebacker. They look around, they say, who
do we have to play linebacker? And I mean we
had ends and all that, and then they were like, bink,
look he said, you're ready. This's your time to shine.

(06:10):
So Wey was like, hey, look, Wenna, you have to bike.
Either you're gonna be blitzing or you're gonna have to
cover the back. Like that was your only two responsibilities.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Blitcher, I get cover the back.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah, absolutely, And I believe it was Austin.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Eckler, So I was like, all right, bet so hey,
we went out there and thug that out man.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
You know, we was just down on numbers and nobody else.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Like they told me before the game know that I
was possibly gonna have the Mike Hellman though.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Because they said that, I think three people on the
sideline gotta have it.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
So we only had two people up, so they're like,
you're gonna have the third Mike Helman just in case.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Then one of my linebackers went down. It was like, no,
you gotta play around already I had I got in there.
But it was fun, bro.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
It made me learn how they can play like so
many plays, bro, because when you ain't got to put
somebody every single play, it's a different ball game.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
To tell people like I get linebackers and DB's are fast,
and you know, linebackers are smart and they able to
come downhill, and you know linebackers be like.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I play every snap. You ain't tussling with a grown up.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
We are literally like Roman Greco wrestling every place. Bro,
Like I do not brother that I take a lot
of energy man.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Man like I too, you know, And I now know
the difference between those tack on the end, like I
sort of knew then I put hands on a tight end,
you know what I'm saying, religious, Yeah, you go to
that nose. I think I'm gonna put a hand on
the center. But it could be the guard, and I
don't know which guard, Like it depends on the plane.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
It could be a trap. They might just open.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Up the center and guard could pull. The guard can
pull it. One ain't nobody down down pull foul. Going
back to my aework, it's but I know I may
catch like an emotioning wide receiver and emotion tight end

(08:15):
and that's yeah, two hundred pound, two fifty max.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
I may have a tight.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
End that that you know, on the opposide of the
ball coming back. That's fine right in those tackles. It's
a three hundred and forty pounds bean hunting for you
and you didn't know he.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Was coming, yes, bro like.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
And it's based off of misdirection too, like trying to
get your eyes to go somewhere else, bro like. Man, Yeah,
it's it's a it's a different world down there, boy.
We really trenched war for your life facts. Yeah, out there,
that's why.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
That's why you you'd be so excited put fighting for
that fullback position.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
You and you on the sidelight oh thirty one.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
You know who they need to call being you out
there going crazy And.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
They didn't this year. Man, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Misappropriation of the funds.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Yeah, I told you how that, clinted like twenty times
throughout the year.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
I'm like, hey, man, I said, look, Clint Kobe, I
catch you out there during practice A couple of times
I said about to see it. Yeah I too, I too,
got that rev up from Sean Payton a few years ago.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Can light end you gotta do is run a little slant.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
We're gonna throw this touchdown at you anything in There
was like three situations that call my number on the sideline.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I'm oh, I can't sit back down.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Man.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
That's nineteen times in practice to call every one of them.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
I didn't drop any of them. I showed you came
and I even gave you the you know, I got
the infamous.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Heading out when I'm moving, I'm all the shakes.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Hey, that's what it is. People don't know about.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
See yo, daddy like you was really supposed to be
a tiny heir. This man has the best misdirection.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Of all time.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
But shout out to Chris Johnson. But I looked like
Chris Johnson, you know when he was in the back
just flowing fill don't know, but you know what position

(10:27):
have you enjoyed the most? Not being nose tackle?

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Oh? Honestly, honestly, receiver?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Bro, you got a wide receiver rep.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Yeah, versus Bears. Remember last year versus Bears. It was
like towards the end of the game and put the
game away. I had that that rep where I was
at the slot. MAKEE send me a motion I kick
off or kick out the corner.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Okay, hey, what once you went on that fullback, fullback tip.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah, the motion you up and then out and then
yeah okay. I was like, I was like, yeah, a
real you had you had a post.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I wish I did, though, bro, because like now you
talk about, why are we saying linebacker, you ain't got
to touch that many people, receiver, Bro, oh.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Please come press, please come press.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Ain't nobody trouing to try to press you there, give
us three yard space and just get them a bubble.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
From do it right exactly. That's what I was telling.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I'm like, hey, next time we go that same formation,
hit me with a quick hit. It was just me
and and Eddie Jackson one on one. I like you,
I'm taking me.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
I like.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Little receiver, and I like you, Bro, I'm taking me.
I mean that been wild.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Dang it.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Things we didn't capitalize on, you know, just like we
didn't capitalize on this season. You talked to you talked
about the Kan's City Chiefs. You when you playing linebacker,
you guys secure the number one spot like King's City
Chiefs did. Now he got the number one spot locked
in Pat mahomes down, Carson Wentz.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Playing yeah invitation one.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah that's and yeah, honestly, I was like kind of
hopeful that they wouldn't lose, because that's like the only
hope that they will probably not win the championship.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
But and that loss is like that's like the football guys,
you know, like.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Humbling, real people, not invincible, but you are.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
But you are your very your valiant soldier.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Bro, I don't understand the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Hate that everybody gives all this year. Pat Mahomes, he's
not playing like he used to. He's not playing, I said, Bro,
he's a back to back super Bowl champion. What do
you mean he's not playing like used to? And because
I'm in season, I'm like, yeah, good, he ain't playing
like used to. When we get the playoffs. At the playoffs,
I'm like, y'all are tripping. You don't doubt a man
who's won multiple beeno the championship multiple times.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
You want two of them with them? Why could you?

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Yeah, Guys like I don't.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
I don't, you know, And it's crazy because it's just
kind of you know the evolution of people, you know
what I mean, Like everything good end up be going
end up going bad.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
They want to go bad? Like yeah, yeah, like talented.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Yeah, he's undeniably one of the greatest man.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
And it's like, you know, just like how back when
Tom and them was winning and they was going all
these back when I back backs and all that, but
like you know, just winning all these championships, everybody's like, man,
we want somebody to come knock him off. Pat was
the one that they wanted to knock him off. Now
he's doing good, and everybody like somebody need to come
beat the chief. It's just it's human nature, bro, we

(13:44):
just don't want them to do.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Pat's so good. They talk about everything butt Pat, you
know what I'm saying, his brother and his wife and
his dad and this bro Patrick my home.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Patrick himself, the player is outstanding, the individual on and
off the field, on and like.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
You like you tolerate slamming on this man. That's like
that's Lamar Jackson and the crazy numbers he's put up
this year and they're still like a BP could be
Saque and it could be Josh Allen and I said,
well you could be blind as hell, you know.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Like no, really real for real though, Like come on now,
this man Lemar did what what what fole interception.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
They threw up they threw up the numbers and none
of nobody's close to him, so leave it.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
It doesn't make sense, so don't leave him alone. Then yeah, yeah,
I agree with that. It don't make sense. But it's
just like the fact of oh my god, it's the
third MVP. It is it.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Is, you know, it's you know, it's like it's like
you're watching Lebron or Mike. They could win it every year,
you know, Mike Jordan, Lebron James could win it every year,
but they they're gonna throw somebody else in it because
somebody else needs to disrupt the flow.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
But sometimes, exactly, you don't have to disrupt the flow.
I get it.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Give you exactly, give me.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
I saw his numbers last year. They're better than last year.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Give me, yeah, Like, come on, and why why are
we trying to make this something other than playing football?

Speaker 1 (15:10):
You have you have other trophies to give the offensive
player of the year. You know, you can make one up,
you know, just give me.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Yeah, he's definitely the most valuable.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Like we can see that. That's the definition of the war.
We can see what it is, right.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Like, no disrespect to the other quarterbacks for the whatever,
Like you see it from the wars, not on the field, Ravens.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Ain't winning that?

Speaker 4 (15:35):
Yeah, real, real, you can sort of you can sort
of win with another system. Ain't no, Ain't no system,
Ain't no program. Like the system is Lamar, the Baltimore
Lamar Real.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Make that make that real easy for them. We'll be
back in a minute. You know.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Now you two years are moved from from uh from
playing with the cheese, bro, Like, how special is it
to hit us? Because it's could be something I don't
know about. I've seen an NFC championship game. It was like, Wow,
look at this super Bowl bro.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yeah, super Bowl. It's amazing, man.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
I mean like even from you know, the you down
there for a week, so you know, I mean like
wherever super Bowl is, you get down there like the
Sunday before and it's a whole week of stuff leading
up to it, and you know it's I mean, it's
obviously a lot, but it's just cool to you know,
get to kick it in whatever city, like how it's

(16:31):
gonna be down here obviously, Like so you know, whoever
they come, they come, and they're gonna be down here
from that Sunday all the way to the next Sunday
and get to experience the city. That's the best part
about it, just you know, getting able to kick.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
I don't want anybody else to experience our city.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
I was seeing black and go to the super Bowl
this entire year until it wasn't. So. Yeah, we lost
like six games, like, no, we could still go.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
We could realistically ten and seven, we can go in
a seven.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Yeah, man. Yeah, it dwindled fast and dled fast. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Especially we had them like three games in eleven days
and they didn't know how we needed them to go
straight off.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Too and oh, be let's go back to starting off
two and.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Oh let's go back. Man, you knows on looking to
the business because I let's go back.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
I said.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I said, Okay, they trying to reduce my role with
two and oh it's about the team. And you felt
you felt like, you know, like I should be playing more.
I felt like I should be playing more. And we
were like we're winning, winning, Trump's everything.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah, yeah, everything good till it ain't, man, Everything good
till it ain't.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Man. That's how it was.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
We're like, yeah, you know, because like like I said,
I've always said too, like you know, I feel like
and you as you as well. We are both like
really ultimate teammates, right. You know what I love about
my job. I get to create the opportunity for you
to rush the passes like that's it's all good man.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
We need more, We need more good noses like you,
you know, like you know, because every nose and you know,
I saw, I saw, I saw pass so I had
to hit him with the Hey man, plug this gap, bro,
like plug this a grap protect us from the run
and screens interiory for runs and screens.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Exactly like I'm here with funny business shows up y'all,
y'all wrestling the past, and something funny starts to happen.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Oh, here comes me out of the stack, chasing down
this rocking screen, no.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Doubt, with no knee lift slide on that.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
That is the craziest, bro, one of the craziest running
forms I still see today. And you have caught plenty
of people just like this past game little screen happened.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
He's trying to run away from you, and Bro, what
I tell you?

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Like you you ate him to the sideline quick pause,
I said, well, bro, Bro, when sideline the sideline with
no kneelft walk them down brother.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
Hey, that's my whole life. Brother, that's been the stride
you know, told.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Playing running back man, like the running back in me,
Like it makes your stride like.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
To cut quick?

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Thank you? Come on now? Like if it forces it
to be like that, bro.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Bro, your running back highlights are still insane to me.
High school out there?

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Oh yeah, people think.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
And that's why the best thing about film and huddle, Bro,
it's like, I'm done, I'm done defending it.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Just go look it up. I'm not. I'm not, I'm done.
I'm over.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I'll say.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
You know, let's let men revert back to this chief situation.
How hard is it to have success each and every year?
You know, I've had some success playoff playoff playoffs. You know,
go dry whatever it is. Tell me about Andy Reid,
you know, because it takes a strong head coach to
get you back, want to keep you humble, keep you consistent,
and it gets you back to the playoffs every year

(19:58):
and good times and bad You know what does? It
keeps the Chiefs great every year? Granted they got Pat
Mahomes Travis Kelsey, but then you see a myriad of
receivers plugging plays.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Yeah, he's the.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Greatest Tyreek Hill, one of the best receivers we've ever seen.
He's going to Miami. They're not gonna be the same.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Yeah right, yeah, No, it's man, that's you know, I
mean obviously, like you know, you already mentioned having Pat.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Come on now, it's Pat.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
Like it's not too many people who are that but
beyond him because even though like perfect example, you know,
we won a couple of playoff games with Chad Henny
in there, like Matt Moore in there, and that goes
to like, you know, Coach Reed, man, he just knows
how to get the best out of his players as
far as.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Game planning for them.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
One thing that you always hear Pat and Trapp talk
about in any of their podcasts or anything they talk
about is like how coach will let them kind of
implement a play and put it into Like they'll be
messing around on the sideline and make a play and
then Coach reeda let them put it in for real.
It's like stuff like that that, like you know, he
uses his knowledge of how to defeat certain coverages and

(21:14):
stuff like that, you know what I mean, Because everybody know, Okay,
what's the cover two beater, what's the cover three beater
stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
But then he allows his players to, you.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Know what I mean, be creative within how they do it,
you know what I'm saying, and so uh but just
I mean, he's found a perfect combination. And then another
thing I feel like they do over there, really will
is that everybody just hyper focuses on their job, bro Like,
and I know I know that, you know, there's something
so cliche to say and so like, you know, just

(21:46):
running the meal, like, oh man, just focus on your job,
do you one eleven? But for me, one eleventh has
been something that's you know, in my in my entire career,
I've want, you know, practice. It's like I can't worry
about what everybody just ten other guys on the field
right now.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
I can't worry about what they got going on. Man,
I just got to do my one eleven.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
And that's one thing that the Chiefs kind of instilled, well,
it was already instilled to me, instilled to me, but
that's one thing that the Chiefs kind of like showed
me that really does matter when you're in the NFL,
because man, as you know, but we got all these
talented guys on the field, you know what I'm saying, So.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Everybody get paid. Everybody good, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
So it's up to you to do your one eleven.
Then you can worry about doing something extra after that.
But for the most part, we all doing I want level.
Can't nobody do nothing on us, you know what I mean.
So that's how that's like to your point with that
plug and play, it's like, you know, it's scientific science data.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
To go with this stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Man like Doc Ray say, oh I ran sixteen miles
an hour, this, this, and that. If you are a
receiver on the Chiefs, all we need you to do
is run this post route. It's seventeen miles an hour.
Can you do that for us?

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yes? All right, go ahead, and that's play.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
You know what I'm saying, Like, as long as you
can hit this feed doing this route, you should be
open because.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Pact got the one to put it there.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
As long as everything go right on the play is
gonna get to you and then goes Reid schemes.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Everybody open. So it's just a perfect you know, little
thing I got going on.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
This brings me to my vindication question. Did you feel vindicated?
Did you fit? How good did it feel to get
an interception off Pat.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
There's a shotgun snap that they heard off the Cook
throw with the gold line. It's deflected and it's intercepted
on the play by Saunders.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
He runs the big Man and the ten near sud
lane twenty.

Speaker 7 (23:33):
On the near sud lane thirty kind of blocking from behind,
the former chief is taken down the Saints. Big Man
got it on the rikashead the goal line on a
Pats intended for Smith Schuster.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
You know week five, Oh boy.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
I was gonna get you, I mean, and it made
the batters. I told him how I was gonna run
that boy.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
I got it left head in the four ever running
back looks good getting the ball all the way out
near midfield.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Of all of the plays that could have happened.

Speaker 7 (24:08):
We were just talking about his brother Damsons.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
He runs.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
They are a talented family.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
I thought I was playing. They thought they thought I
was just talking when I used to say I was
to that thing.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Catch your ends.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
One ran back to what like twenty five might have
got some more if if if I dog Brian Brazi
didn't tackle you, which has now led me to believe
the Saints are your worse ending me on the field
right nowates.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
One comes Saints verse Saints. Bro, It's always been.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
It only refers to what I've always said, Bro, I
don't give a damn who we play out there.

Speaker 8 (24:43):
It is about the Saints. You gotta run from this
really locking my ass up? No, man, No, that was
that was crazy to get the interception, bro, like.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Ally and on that thing you hit your leg.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
I remember you hit down near sixteen miles per you
talking money, It was like it was like fifteen change
or something like. Now I really had one of the
fast g lunetime for real, for real. You took that
thing out there. Yeah, you remember how fast he's going.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
It was about sixteen It was like fifteen eight or nine, Yeah,
somewhere around that. But yeah, no, bron, if JA wouldn't
have cut me off out of hit seventeen easy, Hey.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
You're talking that cash money we end up losing this game.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
You're like, man, hey, fastest nose tackle to do it
since twenty sixteen.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
I seen the numbers. I was like, no, where did
this random ast that come from?

Speaker 4 (25:42):
That's sport science? Really, how much did.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
You hear about the interception coming with?

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Yeah, the interception we're coming with Taylor Swift at the
game and the catch connection between you and Camp, Her
and Camp.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Yeah, my social media went stupid after that game.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Bro in Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
Yeah yeah, yeah, it's a.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Crazy It's a crazy thing. How like how like the
world is always intertwined, it's connected. You just let the.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Chiefs trap starts dating Taylor Taylor Swift, which you know,
the Swifty nation for this last year and a half.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Has been annoyingly amazing.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
And then you know, you know, I've known Cam now
for two years, since we did that cooking show. Back then,
I didn't even know. I was like, oh, that's his
big brother. Next thing, I know this. You know, he's
doing the splits and throwing the legs and rocking. And
I said, oh that new. He's been a dancer.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah yeah, yeah, this is nothing new, bro.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Yeah, but that man, just because at that game, actually
I had him there, my brother, Yeah, and my mom
was there.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
I see them. I see him on the sidelines in the.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
Pre game yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
And then Taylor was there obviously, and so you know,
obviously they showed all of this stuff. Right before I
went and got the interception, everybody hit me up. You
knew that was gonna happen, Come.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
On now.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Script. No Bro, I'm like, no.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Bro, I said, you think we got a little mini
TV on the sideline Like I just was watching, like.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
They just put me and my brother together. I'm about
to show up.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
I'm about to get into sception.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Hey make sure y'all like no, bro, Like but no,
it was just wild bro, that timing And then you know,
after that though, my following went crazy all the I
mean it was already going crazy from the jump of
you know, my brother being on that tour in general,
because she got a whole you thought I thought to
be high with something.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Fam when you showed me, uh Kim's solo, Oh yeah,
I said.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
When you told me he was a dance I was like,
all right, man, good for him. Like you know what
I'm saying, Like, oh, he's working where you show me
a solo? I said, Oh, he's really him? Yeah, I say,
has her dancers and like one of them get a
solo like Kim got a hold.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Following and speaking part on the tour when you do
a little like ever part.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Is that is that is that when you went to Canada,
you went to the show and our bide weekend went to.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
The show in Toronto.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Yeah he had support, baby bro, baby, big baby, bigger bro.
The hell of a three technique, you would have been
a nose you a three technique anyways.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Swift feet in his swifty feet.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
For real, he could have.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Man, he played football one game, actually one game and
you know it's crazy. Had a straight Jadavian Clowney style
TfL and then then like he left after that play.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
I was like, how you go TfL? And quick like,
how you.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Just show up for one game?

Speaker 1 (28:46):
You telling me you went through training camp, went through
hell and then like get to a game like yeah,
nothing for me.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
No, he ain't show up training camp. We needed a
de tackle. He said, all right, I'll do it, went.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Out there and had a TfL and here somebody's like,
I don't think this is I don't like.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Hey, if that's your first time playing, you get a TfL,
you hitting somebody or somebody hitting you is gonna let.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
You know if this sport's for you.

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yeah, he said, yeah, he delivered the punishment and still
was like, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
I'm gonna go through with this thing out here? Cool?
You got it?

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Yeah, you'll handle this. You'll handle this. Aspect.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
That's gotta be fire though, you know, that's gotta be
It's gotta be something to watch your brother like succeed.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
You know, yeah, absolutely on the stage for sure. Yeah,
and at the highest level and all of that. Man,
it's you know, it's a blessing, just especially with him.
He's been working for it so hard, you know, so
I'm so happy for him, and you know, just getting
to see him live out of his dream and get
a you know, great following with it as well.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
I mean it's cool.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Huge up to the Swifties, I guess.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
Absolutely shut out to the Sifties, man, I love you
death with the facts you from me?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Hey me, neither because I know Cam, I'm just happy.
I'm happy Bank's brother got a job.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
You know what I'm saying, right.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Happy, Happy we succeeded. Uh, stay tuned, We'll be right back,
I'll say. You know, we got one week left. Where
do you where do you find the motivation to finish?
Because for me, I haven't seen playoffs and this will
be the fourth year in a row now, which is
I've done three things unheard of since Drew retired. You know,

(30:32):
I've been I've lost.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
To the Niners.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
I think the score was thirty to no been goose
eight twice thirteen to Niners this year the Green Bay
Packers on Monday Night football. I'm cold, missable and trying
to play my ass off and we end up not
putting up any points.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Nothing, you know, nothing.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
So you know, for you, like, where do you find
the motivation for this last game being in a place
that's been unfamiliar. Prior to the Saints, you had nothing
but thehighest form of success, two Super Bowls. You come
to Saint to no playoffs.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Oh yeah, hey man, it's for the love of the game, brother,
But no, you know their motivation, bro, it's it's uh,
you know, it's it's once they cut what they say intrinsic,
that's what it said, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Like, if you can't find motivational yourself, you know you
ain't doing the right thing, man.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Like I mean you, bro, Uh, you know, credit to
you being in this thing fourteen years man Like, obviously
you said what you just said. You ain't made the
playoffs in a minute, Still being here fourteen years strong,
finding the motivation to come out every single game and
continue to build your legacy, and that's Another thing that
I give you credit for uh uh instilling to me

(31:46):
this year is that legacy, man, that legacy.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
We had a lot of talks, bro, a.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Lot of a lot of talks on sideline which.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
Going our way, a lot of talks man. I appreciate
every one of them talks.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Man, And because you know, it's definitely we've had that
talk and this and at this point, it's what are
you doing for your legacy? You know what I'm saying. Like,
I actually was just talking about Homie on the phone.
He's like, you know, he was asking me about guys
from my school. He was like, it's such and such
Center League, you know he And I'm like, yeah, he's
on the prest squad. You know, he got blah bah
blah and one of my homies. He know, he's been
on the press squad for a little bit. But he

(32:19):
got like thirteen career tackles. He's been in the league
for like four a year or yeah, about five years,
but he only got like thirteen taxes. I'm like, hey,
he only got thirteen tacks. But you know, just to
be able to say, hey, I play the NFL and
if anybody be like, no, you didn't go look up,
I got this, man, you know what I'm saying, Just
to say that, like that's all I played for it, bro,
I just like to be like when I get done

(32:42):
and I'm talking to my sons, man, I'm going to
be like, hey, yo, daddy was Hey, I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
Just in there. I was in there.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Was that man? Now?

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Yeah, like I wasn't. I wasn't just out there existing
like oh, I was in the NFL. I got all
this press because I always tell this story.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Man.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
You know, when the same when the Rams were in
Saint Louis, I was a little younger, and I went
to the y m c A. And I played basketball
ball with a couple of guys on the Rams, and
you know, I went home bragged about it, and I
played with the Rams. I come to find out now
that I'm in the NFL, D was just like practice
squad guys, mini camp invite guys.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
I was just like, yeah, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
But that's just it's just crazy how you really remember
that type of stuff. So I'm like, no, I ain't
even that. I'm really a guy who's been doing this,
like going into seven years and doing this like so yeah,
it's it's a crazy experience.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
But you know, I just.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Over overcoming, overcoming adversity over you from you from the
lou You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
You you a shorter d tackle now short like.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Shorter underside for sure under side he was.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Back in high school, your teacher was like, but look
what you get mad about. One time, like my teacher
told me I was gonna be a plumber or some
dumb Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
Yeah, yeah, no bro, yeah, because you know, back in
high school, I wasn't getting the offers, like like, you know,
I end up at Western Illinois. They let you know
how many offers, man, the next go next baby.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
But anyway, anyway, though, yeah, man, it.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Was it was a tough time because like going to
going into like junior senior year, not having no offers,
and you know, I had my teachers.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
They weren't like discouraging me.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
They were just kind of like, uh, you know, what
are my plans after high school? Because I actually through shotput,
you know, track and field, and I was pretty good
at shop. Yeah, I was pretty cold to shotput. I
ain't gonna lie, but I didn't want to do that.
You know, nobody want to just go to college to
do shot put.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
I don't know if they if they paying, I'm playing.

Speaker 4 (34:44):
So it was gonna pay though, for sure.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
But I was just like, you know how it is
like football just bring a different feel man, Like it's
just life.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
It's a thank you, you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
So you know, I was just like, I can't go
to just I can't go to college just to do
track and field. So you know, at first, I had
this little rebellious phase where I was mad at my
high school coaches for not helping me get recruited.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
And I'm like, well, I'm just gonna do track field.
I ain't worried about no other football.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
And I was like after I think junior year or whatever,
because I wouldn't get no offers and stuff. And then
I was like, you know, I was like I got
over it. As most little teenage boys. I have my
little teenage boy temper tantrum.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
Got over it.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Yeah, okay yeah, and then I was like you know what,
I will go And then I got my offer the Western,
and the rest is history.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
I need that run me that hey, run me that.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Western Illinois Levenneck great Colin Saunders, absolutely absolute, who also
makes music are we are we dropping that on the
part too, Like, let's let's talk about this the rap
the rap name, I said, sir binks a lot because
you know music centric, But you don't you done played

(36:00):
a couple of songs in the locker room now, you know,
sliding on that thing on a low ski, going right
into the beat house.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
At the crib, just just to let out. But like
young boys say, this is a pain song. You know
what I'm saying. Just got to get something off your chest.
You know what I mean? I need it.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
You had and you had features on that mom too though.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had a couple of my own.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
You know this song I just started doing for fun
in college and there I got to the league and
I made a song like in my home studio show.
Some of my teammates they like, bro, you gotta get
this professionally made, Like you gotta get this chopped up
and mixed. I'm like, all right, and I did. Everybody's
like putting on Apple music. Bro, that was just then,
like everybody be actually I put on Alba music. I

(36:48):
come in the locker room, people playing my songs on
the speaker. I'm like, oh man, so I started making
it for real, got some features, you know, got a
couple of unreleased you know what I'm saying. I got
some unreleased Honey Badge in the vault.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
Yeah, ain't what they heard.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
It's from like Honey sliding, Honey hitting us. Oh yeah,
five Man hitting the cipher like that.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
I magin slip back of camp back in Kansas City.
That boy came through the dorm in fall camp record
or something. We was you know city camps. That's hell man.
We was in there in the dorms.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Dying rapper name is what my sir binks. Mmmm, that's
what I say.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
I'm saying, just to clarify, I put the lot on there,
but it's just you know, sir Banks, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
The favorite song is what.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Right now? Or of mine?

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Of yours?

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Oh mine? Okay, okay, probably bad vibes.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
Not to be confused with bad blood.

Speaker 5 (37:51):
Is this?

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Was this after a bad blo No, we're gonna talk
about this now.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
No so bad and your brother is the background dancer
for for Taylor Swift so bad blood connection or no connection? Uh?

Speaker 4 (38:05):
Yeah? Here? You know my cementos as they say in Spanish.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
What about the utep two steps.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
That's that joint I made with the janitor from the
Kansas City Chiefs locker room. No real mean, I'll make
a song with anybody. Bro, I'll make a song with anybody.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
Plain how a janitor gets on the track. Bro, you
out here half naked getting out the shower.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
You just hear a brother humming.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
It was very much exactly that. Bro, Like, that's make
it funny because that's I literally you know. Later, you know,
was in doing.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
Some rehab stuff.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Everybody go, I just playing some of my music on
the speaker, and then the janitor came.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
He like, who is this? I like this me? He like, Bro,
I make music too. Bro. Like he showed me some
of his stuff. Love behold we end up making that
you tip two steps together made a banger for the win. Yeah, man,

Speaker 3 (39:06):

I'm just be chilling. Hey, I'm just a chill guy.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
Man.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Who if you were going to talk, say, like, who's
your top three rappers? Who would they be? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (39:20):
I definitely gotta go with Gunner all time, all time,
all time.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
I'm thought you talking about just what I'm listening now, Okay,
all time, Little Wayne absolutely.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
Me personally young thug seeing the love you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's that's that's my god.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Not not not Jeffrey, right, not Jeffy. Jeffrey confused me
for a second. Young thug that was cool with he
said about jeff He.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Came out with that. He came out with that long
blue dress on the album.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
He had to stick.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Come on, man, Jeffrey scared me for a second.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
I said, Wait, that's that's why he that's why he
the most thug out there.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Bro. He had to he had to win it just
because he had to stick. Like, we ain't gonna get
into all that. This is fast life.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
I was not cool Jeffrey. I'm cool with thuggy though,
like you young anyway, Jeffrey, I said, gags delicious, not
a boon ducks.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Okay, okay, hey man, but yeah man, Wayne, thug oh

tough because them only two of Like I gotta go.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
With you got to interchange with third.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. I'll be honest.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
My third interchangeable because there's a lot of people that
make a lot of good music. Wayne the thud only
two who It's like, no matter what, if I only
the two people, it would be Wayne the Thug for sure.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
That's how I feel about method man. You know people
really sleep on method man. It don't make enough sense
for me. But all his like all vibe out there just.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
Nothing man. Were my guys.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
Buster, I can, I can, I can rock with bust
muscle code and then I will get.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
Round rounded up with a little Wayne in there like
that was a big three bro.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Everybody was Tupac jay Z, Biggie Black Bag Black And.

Speaker 3 (41:14):

Speaker 4 (41:20):
