Congratulations. What's it feels to actually be here?
Speaker 1 (00:43):
You said, it's kind of crazy taking it all in
it is.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
I mean, the moment all about it, you know, the
lights and being here with my family, it's all just no,
it's all a little bit surreal.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
But I'm glad to share this moment with them.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Twenty four hours in Vegas.
Speaker 5 (00:56):
A lot of times that is people's like that, that's it,
that's all they can really handle that. They gotta go
for you. You obviously have a big moment potentially coming up.
Do you have anything prepared to say?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Prepared.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
No, you know, I'm not going exactly spootball, but I
know exactly who I need to think and unfortunately they're
they're standing here with me, so right here.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah, it's all prepared.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
That's perfect.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
So yeah, there's no need to prepare. You never have
to get ready.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
When you stay ready.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
There's one man who does that.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
It's mouthcare, okay, real quick, it's giving presidential.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
It's giving clean, clean, fresh, and swell.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
For the suit today and spell for the suit. Just
the idea I'd been cooking up for a while.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
You know, in the off season, I try to delve
into my my fashion.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
So something I had just cooked up.
Speaker 5 (01:40):

feel good, feel good, play good and hopefully tonight you
win that award. So good luck, have fun and enjoy
the rest of your time in Vegas.

way from him to Luna High School, the Lunas Dean
Ricord the head.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Coach, and Kalaaa the running back. You got have you
taken it all in yet?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
This is a big deal.
Speaker 6 (02:08):
It certainly is a big deal, and yes, we're taking
it all in. But at the same time, we're very
excited to be here and very appreciative of the NFL
for the invite.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Okay, can you tell us how you got the invitation?
What that was?
Speaker 7 (02:22):
Actually, I'll leave it to Colona because they were the
ones that were surprised.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
So, Colona, you want to go with that.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
How did you find out?
Speaker 7 (02:28):
Yeah, me and three of my other friends, we just
got called into the principal's office.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Oh, that's usually not a good thing.
Speaker 7 (02:35):
It wasn't a good thing. We thought we were in
trouble for a little bit. Yeah, and then they put
us on a zoom meeting and then Marcus Meyoto was
there and other NFL Films officials and he said, you
just he said, we want to take you guys to
the Super Bowl to go for like the coin toss
and see the captains. And we all were like shocked.
We're all shocked. We looked at each other with disbelief.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, that is so cool. Live it up, have so
much fun.

my closet that I literally never wear. I wear sweats
and a sweat, some kind of Lulu sweats every single day.
So any chance to get it, you know, I have
to put a suit on, I feel a little bit
out of place.

you know, I just wanted to honor him in some
way as well.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
What a full circle moment for you And as intentional
as you've always been making sure that every part of
you represents your journey and now a finalist for a
Comeback Player of the Year, as you think back on
all that's happening, even over the last year, what's been
going through your mind?
Speaker 11 (09:42):
The biggest thing that's been going through my mind, and
one thing that I had to do to ease all
of the emotions and the anxiety and the fears I
came with everything, was to be where my feet be.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Where my feet are? You know, are chaplain?
Speaker 11 (09:54):
For our team we used to have We used to
say this every day during the season, this is the
day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be
glad in it. He would say the first half, I
would say the second half. And you know that was
just our way of staying present and every day and
every moment and then enjoying the moment as well. So
throughout the entire journey, I stayed present. I appreciate it
every moment, the highs and lows, the joy, you know,
(10:18):
every one thousand emotions that came with it. And you know,
I can say I was there and I was present,
and I enjoy every step of the way.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
We just enjoy that you came by and talked to us.
You are such a bright light, just positivity. Your aura
is so fantastic, So thank you so much. Thank you
for sharing it with us, because we are taking some
of that with us and using it.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Please, please do man.
Speaker 11 (10:40):
I'm just I'm just all about you know, well, you know,
just trying to shine some light in the dark situation.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
So whatever, whatever room.
Speaker 11 (10:47):
I'm stepping in, I'm trying to beat our lights. So
you're doing it, I'm coming with it. I'm coming with
it tonight.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Have fun tonight, and good luck.
