Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I want to grand break the ice. You know,
I feel like we have a little beef going on,
and I believe it comes from your competitiveness. I mean,
you've been ducking me for the last three four years.
So we're just gonna ask the question. You just ten routes,
you're on the line, I'm on the line. Yeah. What

(00:20):
how many of those passes you are in your hands
and you're running the other way? I'm getting nine out
of ten? Who every time we come out to you know,
training camp, he's never you know, coming up and guarding
me one on one. But I think that this might
change this year. You know, he may try to, you know,
man up a little bit and see what's going on.
But um, you know where it's at. Marlin Humphrey is,

(00:44):
without a doubt in the conversation, to be the best
pointer in the football. It's up, guys. We are here
at Studio forty four with Mark Andrew's single season receiving
and receptions leader Mark Andrews. How are we doing? Thank
you for man, appreciate great to be here, to be

(01:06):
here man, Thank you for coming in after our first otaye.
How did you feel today? M felt great? Man? Getting
back with the guys. Obviously you get that time off
and for us to be able to get back here.
You start to miss it this time of year. So
just fun to be out here and playing with the
you know people are playing with So I want to
go and break the ice. You know. I feel like
we have a little beef going on, and I believe

(01:29):
it comes from your competitor competitiveness. So we're just gonna
ask the question. You just ten routes, You're on the line.
I'm on the line. Yeah, what how many of those
passes you are in your hands and you're running the
other way? I'm getting nine out of ten? Nine out

(01:50):
of ten. But the thing is is like we can't
ever tell. So the thing Marlo, you and I have
been I mean, you've been ducking me for the last
three four years. Every time we come out, you know,
training camp OTAs. He's always coming up. You know that
route was all right, but he's never you know, coming
up and guarding me one on one. But I think
that this might change this year. You know, he may
try to you know, man up a little bit and

(02:11):
see what's going on. But um, I saw you want
to cover it for shade, But um, you know where
it's at. I'm gonna, I'm gonna let you have this one.
But I mean nine ten is it's very very high.
It is. I think we're we're not gonna go there.
But there's something I do notice about your game, and
I've noticed about practicing against you. You whether it's practice

(02:32):
or whether it's game, you always played with a very
high chip on your shoulder, even a little bit of
trash talk. You know. We you know in my room
is there's been some frustrations back like Mark Andrew blah
blah blah. Tell me where does that chip kind of
come from? Um, from a young age. You know, I
think just you know, being counted out in my whole life. Um,
you know, people have always you know, said this, said that,

(02:53):
and I've carried that and um, you know I try
to use that as fuel and whatnot. But my whole
family is competitive. You know, we always just like yours,
you know what I mean, Like you're you're at, you
know where you're at because your family and um, you know,
I credit a lot to them, you know how I'm raised. Um,
you know, but I have a fire in me to
be the best that I can be, you know, be
the best for this team, be the best teammate I
can be. And um, that's what it's all about. Trash talk. Tell,

(03:14):
let's talk about trash doal what. I'm obviously out on
the field with you. I just know what goes on
in practice. Yeah, talk to me about the game. Are
you a starter? Are you the just finished man? I
usually don't, you know, say too much to start. Um,
you know, but if you know, if I had a
good route or you know, say, you know, everybody wants
to chip in, say their little hears in there and

(03:35):
maybe they make a tackle. Um. You know, some guys
think they're big and they're not, and um, so you
gotta let them know when you're big boy them. You
just got big boy. I like that. I like that.
So you spoke on your family, and I think you
come from a very unique background. Your your family. I know,
I got a doctor Dennis, real estate, two doctors, two doctors, UM,

(03:57):
a dentist, my sister, UM and then my brother who
I live with in Arizona and is a real estate
with my mom. Um. But yeah, I grew up super close. Um,
there's six of us and um, I all grew up
in Arizona and Um, we spent a lot of time together.
I have a niece and nephew as well, and um
I got it to spend about a week and a
half with them this afseason. It was just awesome. So
big family guy. So why uh why not? Why does

(04:20):
Mark Andrews not have this PhD year? Doctor? What made
you go to the football route? I think, you know,
I think from an early age I knew, you know,
something with sports was gonna happen. I was very good
at soccer. Um. If I didn't play football, and I was,
I was extremely gifted at it. Um. It's one of
those things that just clicked. But I started playing football
my freshman year and um, you know started getting offered

(04:41):
to my freshman year, so that picked up the last two. Yeah,
so soccer. You were really good at soccer, very good. Yeah.
How let's your how tall now? Six five? How tall
were you when we were playing in soccer? I've been
tall my whole my whole life. We have this picture
um at home and maybe you can like pull it
up and something like this. It Um, it's it's me,

(05:01):
and it's a game we were winning like six year
or whatever, and they put me in a goalie you know,
I'd scored like three or four goals, and they put
me at goal at the very end. And if you
look at the pictures, all these kids this size and
I was playing up the year this size, and then
the goalie is here, but you can't tell it. It
looks like the coach. You know, I'm not much taller
than everybody, so I've been tall for from at very
early age. Did you ever have any dreams of being
a professional soccer player? Yeah, you know, I think at

(05:23):
first that was kind of my first love. But um,
there's not much you know, going on. I know, you know,
overseas it's very competitive. You know, they're a lot better
than we are here. But um, you know, I think
everything works out for a reason. I'm glad I found football.
I love football, um, and that's where i'm That's why
i'm here today. And so your your whole family is
in Arizona, so you you you get a house there.

(05:43):
I lived with your brother. I think that that reminds
me a lot about my family. We're really close. So
I'm from Alabama building a house in Alabama, yep. I
think what is it that you would say kind of
just has kept your family I know it's it seems
like it's usual. Like I see things, I can't really
see anything without my mom and dad and brother. But

(06:04):
not everyone has that. What exactly do you think it is?
Has kept your family and you got so close? Yeah,
just love, you know, your pride and you know pride
and you know, having you know each other's back. I
think you know, family is a strong word, um, and
there's a lot that comes with that. And um, you know,
I've been blessed to be able to be in a
situation where, um, you know, I have a great family

(06:24):
and um, you know we all you know, count on
each other, rely on each other. Um, and it's a
support system and you know without them, you know, wouldn't
be here today. And I'm sure just like you, it's
the same thing. You know, they do a lot for us,
and um, you know, credit to them. Arizona guy goes
to Oklahoma while Oklahoma. I actually grew up an Oklahoma fan.
My whole family, uh is Oklahoma fans. My I had

(06:46):
a dog growing up named Boomer. Saw a lot of
a lot of Boomer dogs out there. But yeah, so
my grandpa went there, um way back when. Um, and
so yeah, so Saturdays, we'd be watching Oklahoma football. My
brother went there for Med's school. UM, and then I
saw I got two years there with him as well.
So we're a boom with student families for sure. Let's go.
So I bet that was a very exciting offer when

(07:08):
you got that offer. Huge. Yeah, it was big. It
wasn't like it was one of those things where I
had to kind of reach out to them. Had a
bunch offers at the time. I was like, come on,
I need this Oklahoma offer. Oh so you were you
were a Boomer Sooner. Yeah, to the te Okay, So
you go there, you go to Oklahoma, you have Housman
Trophy quarterback, come to the Ravens, you have another house
and drop quarterback, MVP quarterback. You've had elite to be played.

(07:33):
Talk to me about how it's been and it obviously
the connections have worked well. Talking to me how it's
been with having you know, Baker Mayfield, you know, the
best college at the time, and then Lamar Jackson MVP
best quarterback in the league. UM. You know, with quarterbacks,
especially those type of guys, you know they had that
special it factor being able to lead. Um, you know
Baker and Lamar are obviously different you know players, but um,

(07:56):
just the aspect of you know, guys, to the camaraderie
around them in the locker room, they and guy guys together. UM,
Baker was incredibly fun to play with. You know, he's fiery,
UM and all those type of things, and UM, you know,
I definitely cherish those moments I was able to have
with him. But UM, you know, you think about Lamar
and what he means to you know, us as a team,
as in the city, all the things he does. Um,

(08:17):
he's just incredible. UM, he's an incredible person friend, UM,
teammate and UM in quarterback. So obviously you and Lamar
have had a great chemistry, right relationship on the field. Yeah,
what do you think is one of the key things
that it's kind of made that that connection works so well. Um,
you know from the start, there's just been this you

(08:39):
know sort of connection, Like like he says, we play
street ball. You know, we're out here playing backyard football. UM,
And this is the way he sees the game. You know,
he throws the ball incredibly well. But he has great eyes.
You know, he's seeing guys when a guy pops up
and he's throwing it. And so for me, I'm always
trying to you know, find lanes and when I have
a lane where I have that little bit of opening
and I think I can get the ball. The biggest
thing is I'm showing him my eyes. And when I
show him my eyes, you know, he's usually very good

(09:01):
at you know, getting the ball in there. And um,
it's it's just a fuel thing. You know. Sometimes you know,
you just connect right away, and that's been the case
with me and Lamar. Um. You know, I've been fortunate
to have that with him. It is special. You know.
I think about that all the time. Every time I
get the chance to go out in the field and play, um,
you know, football with him. It's it's a blessing because
he's a special, special player. So I'm assuming you would

(09:23):
like to play with Lamar Jackson your whole career. I
know there's a lot of I know that time is
coming up. Yeah, do you see that being a thing?
I hope lamarsa forever too, Me too. I'm sure you
hope that's my QB for life. That's a QB for life. Yeah,
all right, we'll make them. We'll make sure that works. Um.
Set two records last year, receptions and receiving yards. How

(09:45):
do you come back from a season when you I mean,
you did something that's never been done before. How do
you follow that up? Just continue to work. You know,
you can't look too too far into those type of things.
You know, you try not to get too high too low.
And I'm not someone that does u. You can, you know,
obviously have confidence, but you need to humble yourself, look
yourself in the mirror, look at things that you can

(10:06):
do better and get better at and be a better player.
And um, you know, I think I've been able to
do that, you know, having a good year last year,
There's still things I can get better at. There's still
things that can grow at. And I'm still growing as
a person, as a player, as a teammate, you know,
and everything. So I'm going to continue to do that.
I'm gonna try to get better and better, and I'm
gonna try to help this team win. You know, we
have an ultimate goal of getting to a Super Bowl.

(10:27):
This you know franchise. Um, you know, they deserve it,
the city deserves it, and um that's the ultimate goal.
And we've been saying that. But we got a special
team and I'm excited about it. So you're going on
year five, I'm sure you've started to know your body
better and better. You're here at OTAs that are you
know optional? Of course, how do you know Mark Andrews

(10:50):
is in the shape and shape ready to go? Tuned up? Well?
What are some things you feel like you need to
check those boxes off before you can set up on
the field and have no great season? I have a
great offseason, you know, workout program. Um. You know, I
sometimes I post videos of myself, my dad, my brother.
We're out at our you know, high school football field
and we have a jugs machine and you know, I'm

(11:10):
running routes as hard as I can. You know, I'm
getting it down, breaking on routes, um. Stuff like that.
I've a tennis court in my backyard and um, we'll
put the ball machine back there. You know, run routes
and do those type of workouts. Um. You know, my
family is definitely one of those workout families. Um. So
it's always constant, you know, doing things, and I think
they do a good job of, you know, keeping me
in shape, keeping me ready. And then you come here

(11:30):
and they do it the right way. You know, we
get guys that work hard, and um, there's a process
of building up to where you need to be. Um,
you know the amount of balls you're catching, amount of
routes you run, amount of times I get to go
against you. You know, hopefully nine out of ten times
I'm gonna beat you. But UM, you know, I know
it's always going to be a good. Look. I want
to ask another question about you know, the Ravens talking
about coming here. A guy like you, you know, one

(11:53):
of the best titles in the league, if not the best.
You hit free agency, there you have, I mean, you
got every team that will want you on your team.
What went into the decision too? I want to be
with the Ravens. What made you want to sign back here? Um?
I truly love it here, you know. Um you know
I've this place is my home, you know, and and
I mean that. Um you know I love the people here.

(12:15):
I love the city of Baltimore. UM. I love this
franchise from the top down. It's run the right way.
I love my teammates, and um, there's no place else
I'd rather play. Man. I take pride in wearing the
Ravens on my chest and on my on my helmet,
and um, you know what, it means a lot to
me and I think that for me, I play a
lot better when when I can play for something and

(12:35):
I play for the Ravens. Nice. So this is a
direct quote. I asked somebody as I was doing my
homework on you, So what does Mark Andrews? Do? You
want to know? The response I got. Response I got
was nobody knows. So I'm sitting here thinking to myself, Yeah,

(12:56):
we know who you are, the reception leader, possibly the
best time they'd ever played put on the Ravens uniform.
But who is Mark Andrews off the field? Because I
don't know. I don't know if you want to need
the world. I'm just trying to figure out what is
you have a week to yourself? What does what does

(13:18):
that look like? That look? I knew this question was
coming to what does that look like? Okay, we're gonna
have to reverse this question though, because no one knows
what Marlon Humphrey does on it feel like, I mean
besides tweet, I don't know. I'm not sure we can reverse. Um. Yeah,
like I said before, man, I'm a family guy, big time. Um,
you know, calling my parents, you know, calling like my grandpa. Um,

(13:38):
shout out to my grandpa. Um. You know, I have
very close, you know, group of friends that we keep
it tight. We don't do too much on social media
and like you, you know, we don't put too much
out there. But it's a great tool. Um, it is
a great tool. Man. I know that you don't like
drinking coffee, so um, wake up with the I wake
up in a josh. I don't need coffee, you do.

(13:59):
I'm just a dog. I don't know what I say
you are under nah, But um, I'm a chiller man.
I like to chill. Yeah. I can golf a little bit.
I can do all these different things. Yet um, just
about anything, man, Um, maybe if you hung out with
me a little bit. You know, that's why I got
you here. I got you here. This is this is okay,
so not in my turn here a little bit. So

(14:20):
since we're having this conversation, talk to me, talk to me.
And there is beef between Marlin and I, not just
on the football field, yes, yes, um, you know, thinking
it back to some of the conversations that we've had
last year, Marlin's walking around with these fanning bay um
smores um, and he's given them out to Everybody's here,
you have these smores back, have these smores back? And

(14:41):
I'm looking around. He's given him to everybody, and he
comes up to me. He says, no, you can't have these.
And I said, I'll say, okay, I see how it is.
But that was Marlin's way of, like, you know, showing love,
but like being Marlow. See I I and we can
speak on that. I do not know much about diabetes.

(15:02):
I think I remember asking you early on. I was like,
how hard can you really? You know, train hard? Yeah?
Because I didn't I thought, I you know, thought, dude,
I don't really know you carry around the bag and
you do the things. I didn't know much about it,
so I was like, he can't have sugar? I thought,
can yes, I mean that's a that's a very common Yeah.

(15:26):
I was actually gonna ask you that. Tell me, what
are some besides that you can't have sugar? What are
some other common misconceptions that people are like, oh, diabetes,
you can't do this, this, and this just the eating thing.
You know, there's there's type one, type two, so there's
differences in that, but you know, type one you can
really eat whatever you want it's just you know, being
able to UM manage just give yourself the right amount
of insulin, you know, manage your blood sugar levels. Um.

(15:47):
You know, I'm lucky you have a tandem pump um
which kind of regulates my blood sugar. That's control. I
Q paired up with my dex calm. The technology nowadays
is incredible. Um. But we can really eat whatever, so
you know, you know, I was like, I was like
a Marlowe, give me, give me them s'mores right now?
Come on, man, I don't know, but okay, So there

(16:09):
is there a formula? Do you have a or is
it just pretty easy? It's just pretty simple. Um, I
think you know, routines are huge. I'm a big routine guy.
Try to do the same things, eat the same things. Um.
Definitely in the diabetic world, that makes life a little
bit easier. UM. There's a lot of unknowns. But I
can work. I can work harder than anybody else. I
can you know, put in the time more than anybody else.

(16:29):
And I can eat whatever I want. You know, I
I take pride and taking care of myself, you know,
to encourage you know, kids and people that are living
and maybe struggling with type one diabetes and it's tough
and it can affect families, and UM, I understand that.
So I want to be able to, you know, be
a role model, be someone that you know, people can
look up to and say, you know, he takes care
of his diabete diabetes the right way. Um. You know,

(16:51):
he uses you know, the right you know type of equipment,
and UM, you know, I just want to be able
to help people and encourage people and show them that,
you know, they can do what whatever they want in life. Um,
even with type one diabetes. So, and you were diagnosed
at an early age nine years old years old, So
it was there ever a time maybe it was early

(17:11):
on that sounds like now you got it pretty much
under wraps. Was there ever a time when kind of
it I'm sure it took an adjustment, but was there
ever a time when it kind of was got a
little tough for you and you had to be like, Okay,
it's gonna have to be like this boom boom boom. Yeah,
every day is different and you're gonna have tough days,
you know, being a type one diabetic. Um. I remember
it was the first weekend I got diagnosed, and um,

(17:33):
I was out at a soccer tournament, like an hour
away from home, and my blood sugar was like four
hundred four fifty or whatever, and you know, my dad,
being a doctor's freaking out. So when you're four hundred
four fifty, you know, you feel like Lethar Jake and
it's not good. It's not a good feeling. And UM,
I went out there and you know, played you know soccer,
you know, being super high and obviously I was taking
insulin trying to get it down, but UM ended up

(17:53):
scoring like four or five goals and you know it's
going off and you know, my parents were freaking out.
But at that time, I was so ignorant. I was young.
I was just going out there doing whatever I can
and you know, playing the sport I loved at the time. So,
like I said, every every day is different. You know,
I've had you know times where um, you have close
calls and that's part of being type undiabetic. But um,
like I said, there's so much technology out nowadays that

(18:14):
it just makes life easier to live with type one diabetes. Um,
it really prevents the bad cases before they happen. So
slightly back to football, tell me about your celebration. I
really don't know. You do a little something like this
and sometimes you're throwing something up. What tell me about
these celebrations. I've never really known it. I've never really

(18:36):
asked salt. The salt, you know, just kind of came organically.
I don't know really, you know, salt bay. Yeah, yeah,
but it's almost like moving the chains, you know, little
salt in the womb throw that. Um. Yeah. But celebrations wise,
I think I get a little better. But I just
I just be in the moment. I mean, I just
flow through the game and um, whatever comes to me.

(18:57):
Sometimes it's yelling, sometimes it's throwing the ball, sometimes it's
you know, celebrate my teammates, and um, I just enjoy
playing football. And I don't think too much about celebrations
or anything like that. Just let it come to me
and whatever happens happens. You know, so we never know,
So you never know. I feel like I'm the same
way I used. Actually I've never talked about this. We
have nine receptions in fifty five yards? What do we

(19:20):
that's a that's I mean, come on, Marlow, what do
you mean we need more yards? It's gonna happen okay,
gonna happen. I believe, I believe it's it's coming. I mean,
I know you ran track track guy, one hundred and
ten meter hurdles hurdler. Yes, yes, I mean, so we

(19:40):
gotta get that ball and run. I gotta get the rock.
I gotta get the rock. Yes, I gotta make some plays.
I'm going through. I'm trying to set some records this year.
I know you are going to wet on on your side.
I'm trying to trying to do the same. I know it. Um,
but celebrations, I'm uh, I just let loose too, man,
I need to work on my celebrations. I mean, you
just I feel like you're the same way where you

(20:00):
just you just whatever flows through your body, like whether
it's just screaming, you know, just going crazy. I love it, man.
I love the way you play the game. I love
you know, the type of your infectious as a teammate
and the people that are around you, and it's a
it really is a pleasure to be able to play
with you. So like you're a vet now five years

(20:21):
in what do you think when guys come in what
we drafted two tight ends? What are you kind of
trying to show those guys. I know you can always
say what you're trying to do, but I think people
really watch actions. What are you kind of trying to
teach those guys or show those guys that are kind
of coming in that are going to be in your
room this year. It's all about work, you know. I think,
you know, when you come into the league, you only

(20:42):
know so much and you think you know a lot,
but being able to take it all in, being able to,
you know, see the guys that are older than you,
see you understand what your coach is really trying to
tell you, and soak that all in, you get to
grow a lot, you know. I think my first year
I had had Gero as a coach and as a
tight end coach, and he's a super knowledgeable person, and
I learned a ton um, you know, somewhat unpolished, especially

(21:05):
in the run game, but just the mindset of being
able to play in the NFL, it's a big jump.
So being able to learn soak it all in, learned
from the older guys. I was blessed to have Nick
boyle m and just learn how to be a pro.
We talked about that all the time. Being a pro
is a real thing. Um, so you gotta learn all
those things. But I think, you know, Charlie and Isaiah
um have very bright futures ahead of him. Let's talk

(21:27):
about you guys, room, because I think you Nick Boyle,
I know Nick boys coming back from injury. The tight
end group since I've been there has always been like
like this. How do you feel with Nick Boyle coming
out coming back? I know he's been out for a while.
How excited does that make you? Because I mean last
time Nick Boyle was here, the run game was going.
And because if we were the number one offense, how
does Nick Boile coming back, how does that make you feel?

(21:48):
Kind of go into this season? Awesome? You know he's
a he's a player that he's a guy you really
wanted your team, and um, I was able to. He
was in Arizona for a couple months, you know, so
we were able to hang out a good amount out
and um, he stayed at my house for a few weeks. Um.
You know I was able to hang out with with
his son, Um and his daughter Brock and Blakeley and
his wife Christina, and uh, he worked incredibly hard, you know,

(22:10):
and for him to be able to play and try
to play. You know what he was going through last year.
He looks like a different person right now, and um,
he's moving very well. He looks confident, and UM, you know,
I'm very excited because I see the work that he's
put in and I see where he's at right now.
You guys had a lot of guys come out there Arizona. Yeah,
and I was never invited Arizona. Also another no, no, no,

(22:35):
we gotta say this. I tried. Me and Marlon are
at the same place function right and I knew he
was out somewhere and I'm there and he knows I'm there.
I don't even really know he's there there, and he
didn't and he doesn't come up to me. He doesn't
say Hi, did you say you didn't see me? Though?
I didn't see you, But did you see me? No?

(22:56):
I did not. I was sitting there. I think I
hit up. I don't know who I hit up, but
I was like, yo, what's Mark Andrew's number? They didn't
have it. Then I was like, then, I mean you're
in Arizona. You know. It clicked late. Then I tried
to connect. But then maybe next year or maybe this year,

(23:20):
the summer, just Ravens in Arizona. But we have to
get invited by mister Arizona. You're invited, all right, let's see,
let's see this it was true. Um yeah, I'm really
excited about Nick Boy. I know he's been battling um
a lot of different injuries and things, and I just

(23:40):
feel like, you know, our offense roles great. When we
got that, that trio takes them take some heat off you.
A lot of teams, a lot of guys come to
me and last year they would say, all we gotta
do is stop Hollywood and stop you when you're going
into a game and you're getting that much. Obviously, people

(24:02):
gang plan. They're saying, these are two guys, we gotta stop.
We can't let this guy do this and we can't
let eighty nine do this. How does that affect your mindset?
If it? If it affects your mindset at all, it doesn't,
not at all. You know, you just go out there
and play, you know flow. You know, like I said,
that's a big word I use. I just I just
go out there and play. I don't care what they're doing. Um.
I trusted my abilities. You know, I've been doing this

(24:23):
for a long time and I've been pretty good at it.
And um, I trust my coaches, I trust my teammates,
and it's not just all on me. It's not just
stopped me. You know, we you know we lost Lamar
last year. Look at Snoop, you know what I'm saying.
He's He's an incredible player, and um, we have a
lot of those. We have a lot of guys that
are underrated on this team. So I think you look
back and you watched last year and it was a

(24:44):
great year, like you said, but there's a guys that
are making plays left and right, and so that's what
it's gonna be. That's what it's gonna be this year.
It's not just gonna be one guy said, not just
gonna be me. It's not just gonna be Lamar m
our supporting cast. And the guys that are around us
are are great players, and our coach are going to
put us in the right position and that's the that's
the That's the thing about being a Raven is um
they put you in the right positions. And you're gonna

(25:06):
have guys that are that are dogs. What about you cornerbacks?
I mean, where do you put yourself in the mix.
And it's hard to say coming off a bad year.
So there's a lot to prove. You're saying a lot
to prove a lot of the same way, you know,
a lot to prove. But I know when I'm playing
good ball, Yeah, I'm I'm in the top three. Yes,

(25:27):
think um that fruit punch. Yeah, man, they gotta get
back to it. I gotta get back to I gotta
get back to technique, fundamental football. Yea, I think. Um,
there's a lot of good guys. Man. I'm really excited
about getting Marcus back. Yes, I got, I gotta. I
got really a lot wiser having Marcus on my team.
You know, I went from Eric Waddle gave me. I

(25:48):
took a lot of knowledge fro him. Brandon car took
a lot of knowledge from him. I feel like he
sees the game in a in a very unique way,
and he brings a perspective that is great for the room. Yeah,
he brings a crazy perspective. I think the best story
I got of him, I was like, I forget what
team we're playing here. It was some RPOs, different things.
He was like, I was like, when are you when

(26:08):
are you going to see something? Like, what different formations
do you think? He was like, I see all of them. Yeah,
And I'm like like what do you what do you
mean you see all of them? He's like all of
them and I'm like, well, I'm just trying to take
like two different thing. So he sees a game in
a way that I really can't relate, but I try to.
I try to soak up a lot a lot from him.

(26:29):
But I'm super excited to get him. Don't have a
great group, Yeah, we got a great group. Yeah, I'm
really excited about the addition with Marcus Williams, M Kyle
Chuck t J. I'm it's dangerous right there. Excited. I'm excited.
I think, um, I definitely know when I got here,

(26:50):
Ravens defense was like everything Ravens defense, Ravens defense, and
I felt like that standard fell off a little bit
last year and I'm excited to get it back. Man.
I'm just uh now I think about much just playing ball.
You know that that two thousand Ravens thirty for thirty
is like kind of inspiring me. I didn't really know
much about it, and then people were telling me like

(27:11):
the defense was like there was like crazy, no offense. Really,
I'm like, I'm hearing about the scores and he'd be
like he would only score off like a pick six,
and it was like, so it's crazy. So I'm excited
about who we got excited about mindsets and just look
at back to good football and both sides of the ball.
