Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
It's a Fantasy Live edition of the Fantasy Football Podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
I'm Marcus Grant.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I'll be joined by Adam Rank and Michael f Florio.
Will tell you what we learned about Vikings and Chargers
after LA's blowout TNF win, plus who you should start
and sit in the rematch of Super Bowl twelve and
next jen Kin breaks down the tough road quin Shawn
Judkins has.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Against the Patriots.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Happy Friday, everybody. We are often running in by mcgeddon.
We are often running here with another edition of NFL
Fantasy Live. I'm Marcus Grant, that is Adam Rank, that
is Michael f Florio. I want to start by apologizing
to the person I suggested should start, Romeo Dobbs over
commanding Adal. Weeks not over yet. Weeks not over yet,
but it's looking like an early swing of the miss.
I just want to apologize anybody Florio that maybe you

(00:49):
swung and missed on Thursday night.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I have a lot of Chargers across all my fantasy teams,
but my biggest swing and miss is in.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Our Fantasy Live league. At the last second, I took.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Madell out, put Keenan Allen in, and I hated myself.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
For it, right.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
Yeah, there was a lot of situations where I had
Kamani Videll and I just started him because I had
no other options.

Speaker 7 (01:10):
It was debating between.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
Him and Devin and Neil, and I'm like, well, I
might as well see what we got going on here.
On Thursday night, I also started some Mironde Gadston.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Oh well, then that sort of balances a lot of
things out. I started Jordan Mason in a couple of leagues.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
Oh same.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I definitely learned that the charger offense can be scary
when it is cranked up and running.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
But rank, what else did we learn from Thursday night?

Speaker 6 (01:31):
I learned that the white number doesn't work on that
helmet unnecessary, didn't need to be there. Everything else about
that uniform was glorious. The numbers on the side were
a little bit concerning. But let's talk about this Vikings defense.
One of the reasons why I did go with Kamani
Videll desperation situation is that over the last couple of
weeks it started to appear that the Vikings defense had
been really vulnerable to the rushing attack. And it's one

(01:54):
of those things you're like, okay, is there going to
be something here. This would be the opportunity for it
to be exposed. Had this been a week where I
didn't need to start Kamanie, I might have kept him
on the bench. But I went with him and was
rewarded handsomely. And now I'm sitting here looking at this schedule. Now,
obviously you're gonna be starting Jamior Gibbs week in and
week out, But David Montgomery comes into play next week

(02:14):
going up against his Vikings defense Derrick Henry, DeAndre Swift
and Kyle Manungai, Josh Jacobs, Zach Sharboney.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
Are we going to be.

Speaker 6 (02:24):
To the point where we're probably gonna feel comfortable starting
Kenny Walker the third in.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
A couple of weeks.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
I think it's a real possibility going up against this defense.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah, And that's Vikings defense has a weakness in the
middle of the field as well, which is why Lad
mccauckey went off last night, and his demise has been
greatly exaggerated in the last month. He leads the Chargers
and targets catches, target share and air yard share. He
leads not only the Chargers, the entire NFL in end

(02:53):
zone targets in netspan, giving you nearly nineteen Fantasy points
per game. That is wide receiver one production. The first
month might have been rough, but if the next two
look like the last month did, he might just return
that second round draft value after all.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Meanwhile, where have you gone, Quinton Johnston? A nation turns
its lonely eyes to you. There's a lot of games
still left to be played here in Week eight, but
Johnston right now, the leader in the clubhouse for Cardio
King of the Week, ran twenty two routes, zero targets,
zero points, and this has kind of been a trend
for him lately. Over his last three games, just ten targets,
six catches, seventy yards in a touchdown. He had more

(03:29):
than seventy yards in each of his first four games.
And while he has disappeared, Aronde, Gadston, as Rank alluded
to at the start of the show, has.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Come in kind of stolen his whole swag.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
As Johnson has faded, Gadston has risen and now is
becoming a real question about how confident you can be
in the Chargers downfield threat going forward in this offense.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
So there you go. That's what we learned from.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
TNF Another thing that I think we took away from
this is Carson Wentz obviously not the answer at quarterback
for the Vikings. It seems like they are ready to
go back to JJ McCarthy as soon as next week.
But Florida, I think the bigger question is here. We
for years have believe that Justin Jefferson was quarterback proof.
Are we starting to change our tune about that?

Speaker 7 (04:11):
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
I think, if anything, you should be going out and
trying to buy low on Justin Jefferson because he's still
averaging nine targets per game. He's currently off pace for
almost fifteen hundred yards this season.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
The reason his.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Numbers don't look as good as they normally do is
one touchdown, but he could easily get hot and give
you six seven touchdowns in the.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
Second half five again, six seven.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
You see there.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
I know we were talking about this in the meeting,
and the wide receivers I think I'd have over Jefferson
right now were like Chase json, Puka a Monra and
Cebee Lamb.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
That's about it for me.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
Yeah, that was my point. No, I'm kidding. That's the
one thing.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
It's always fine.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
But like this said, the thing I love the idea,
like by low on Justin Jefferson. I have a lot
of shares of Justin Jefferson. I'm not trading them. I'm
not a crazy person. I do believe that it is
going to be better at some point this season. The
one thing about KOC that we know is that he
is a great developer of quarterbacks. It feels like the
only quarterback he's been unable to really work with is

(05:13):
Carson Wentz. I'm going to give him an opportunity to
go out there and go and work some magic with
JJ McCarthy. I still believe that JJ McCarthy can be
a good quarterback. I know this NFL world, man, you
guys want to give up on players all too quick, like, oh, look,
let's do the redraft right Like, no, actually, there's a
real opportunity. JJ McCarthy can be really good. I was

(05:33):
a big fan of his coming out of college. I
think he could go out there and do an adequate job.
I'm sure he's on everybody's waiver wire right now. I
had him in the early part of the season. I
was making sure I was leaving drafts with him. I
still believe in JJ McCarthy and it's just like, you
know what, they made a swing and a miss.

Speaker 7 (05:47):
They had last.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
Year they had Sam Donald Daniel Jones on their roster. Now,
obviously you weren't going to pay fifty five mil for
Sam Donald.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
But Daniel Jones would look pretty nice right now.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
But as you know what, as a fan of Chicago Bears,
I'm glad you made the call that you made there, Koc.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Look, I think it's premature. I'm gonna go on a limbsa.
It's premature to.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Punt on a guy after a game and a half
in his NFL career.

Speaker 7 (06:08):
No, he's a boss.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
I'm just saying, let's spend things forward to this week
this year. Is video of Lamar Jackson at Ravens practice
earlier this week. Today, Jackson had his first full practice
is injuring his hamstring and a week four loss to
the Chiefs. When asked today whether his former NFL MVP
will start against the Bears, John Harbaugh said, we'll see
what happens Sunday. Tyler Huntley would start if Jackson can't go.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
See, that's that's how you do it. Aaron Glenn, Like,
that's real intrigue right there. There's a big drop off
between Lamar Jackson and Snoop Huntley. But with Aaron Glenn
being like ky Rod, nobody cares. This is how you
do it. And John Harbaugh's trying to be cute and
good on you.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
A were talking about Pro Bowl quarterbacks, snap saying, listen,
pro Bowl quarterback.

Speaker 6 (06:52):
Pro Bowl. Yeah, okay, you know what I would. I
will trade you for Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Do you feel that way anyway?

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Obviously having the Jackson back in the lineup clearly changes
things for both sides, right the Bears defense the Ravens offense,
for sure, But as we look at this Bears Ravens
game coming up this week, rank, what are you looking at?

Speaker 6 (07:10):
One of the most impressive things is how well the
Bears rushing attack has played over the last couple of weeks.
It was something that Ben Johnson talked about coming out
of the buy that had kept him up at night.

Speaker 7 (07:19):
He was really worried about it.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
And now over the last two weeks it's been running,
running on all cylinders, which is why you can start
DeAndre Swist. Not only DeAndre Swift. I would also say
that if you're debating whether you can get Kyle Mnung
guy out there as well.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
I think you can.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
But DeAndre Swift, as you see right there, has one
hundred and thirty scrimmage yards and a touchdown in back
to back games. Now, the haters, all the Lions fans
loved loved social media. Who did you play? I don't
know the NFL teams that were on the schedule, that's
exactly who they played. Guess who they're playing now, the Ravens,
who have allowed the second most fantasy points per game

(07:52):
to running backs this season. So I know it's probably
going to take like thirty weeks before you haters will
finally admit that DeAndre Swift is a good player.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
But at the same time, I'm gonna start him. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
There was some guy in my mentions for weeks telling
me that DeAndre Swift was all floor and now I
haven't heard from him. I also think you should be
starting Rome Adunesay against the Ravens in this one. Not
only has Baltimore allowed the fifth most fantasy points per
game two wide receivers, but they really struggle in the
red zone. They've allowed ten red zone touchdowns two receivers,

(08:24):
that is the most in the NFL. A Doonsay has
a twenty five percent target share when the Bears get
in the red zone. He has scored half of their
red zone touchdowns this year, and he has half of
their end zone targets. So I think everything is going
to be funneled through him when they get near the
end zone. And then on top of that all with
Lamar back, they might just have to throw more than
they had.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
To the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, I'm looking to see it for Romo Dunesea to
pick it up. It's been a couple of down weeks
for him in NFC East mashup that we saw just
a couple of weeks ago. It's the Giants now heading
to Philly to take on the Eagles of Florio. Do
you prefer your batman's skinny or swollen?

Speaker 7 (09:00):
This week?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
My batman is going to have arms as skinniest ranks
because it's DeVonta Smith. For me, I think he is
a start ten or more targets in two of his
last three games, and he topped one hundred and ten
yards in each of those games. Now, the one in
that span that he didn't came against the Giants, but
you might remember he had a like seventy yard touchdown

(09:21):
that Jalen Hurts just missed him on or else he
would have had a monstrous day in that game as well.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
And then the Giants most yards to.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Wide receivers, seventh, most fantasy points, second, most yards specifically
on deep passes. I think they want to get their
their look back a little bit, and I think DeVonta
Smith has a good week against the Giants.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
On the other side, we've been so enamored with Jackson
Dart and Cam Skataboo in fantasy that we're sort of
overlooking what Wandale Robinson is doing. He's a top twenty
fantasy receiver. He's top twenty in the league in targets, receptions,
and receiving yards, has a twenty five percent target share
in this offense. And the biggest part is that his
air yards per target nearly double of what it was

(10:01):
last season. He had a good game when these two
teams had a couple of weeks ago, went for twenty
fantasy points in that one. So while we're all excited
about the young quarterback and the young running back there,
don't forget about Wandelle Robinson, who's actually doing big things
in this Giant's offense.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Who is that I already forgot wond Okay, thank you,
I'm next.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
It is a rematch of Super Bowl twelve with the
Cowboys and the Broncos. That day, it was Roger Staubach
versus Craig Morton.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Right, Butch Johnson caught a touchdown pass. I think I
think Rick up Church fumbled the ball.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Tony Dorsett did some rob Yeah, Jaxon I think was
playing that one too.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
Danny Danny White. Danny White was Hey, Florida, raise your
hand when you've heard of one.

Speaker 7 (10:43):
Of these players. Danny White was a punter and a quarterback,
and I remember.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Every time Danny White went to go punt, They're like, hey,
remember he's the backup quarterback.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I'll get to it.

Speaker 6 (10:57):
Scott Geez Luise, Dak Prescott. Dak Prescott has been playing
amazing football this season.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
As you see right there.

Speaker 6 (11:04):
The totals on the board are correct because Kendall does
them and I trust him. Five games with at least
twenty two Fantasy points this season, the second most amongst
quarterbacks this year. The only reason I bring this up,
because it feels pretty obvious, is that you know what
the Denver Broncos do.

Speaker 7 (11:17):
Have a pretty good defense.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
They've got a great pass rush, but you know what,
they've been vulnerable to some of these quarterbacks. We saw
last week. Jackson Dart was pretty good. We saw a
couple of weeks ago another quarterback was able to go out.

Speaker 7 (11:29):
There and get over on them.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
So I think that this is a real good opportunity
for Dak Prescott this week. I think he will put
up fantasy points. But I'm still picking the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
I'm telling you you must start, absolutely must start bon
Knicks this week. I mean, if you look at his
week to week totals, it's sort of up and down.
He's had some really good games, He's had some sort
of games in there. This is not about bon Nicks.
This is about the guys on the other side. The
Cowboys giving up the most fantasy points per game two
quarterbacks this season. Five different qbs have had multiple touchdown

(11:58):
passes in a game against Dallas. Six have had at
least eighteen fantasy points in a game. This is projected
to be one of the higher scoring games of the week. Look,
I don't know if the Broncos go out and score
thirty three points in a quarter but I think they
can move the ball and Bonnick should absolutely be in
fantasy lineups. James Taylor's going to Carolina in his mind,

(12:19):
the Buffalo Bills are going there for real.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Right, Who do you like in this one with the
Bills and the Panthers.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
I'm gonna say the double deuce, Dalton Schultz himself. Wait,
Dalton Kinkate. Gosh, dang it, Dalton ka I'm getting them
all mixed up. Dal Kincaid has been playing really well
with the team that they don't really have the number
one like alpha wide receiver. They don't have a Justin Jefferson,
they don't have a Jamar Chase. So it's Josh Allen

(12:44):
and he's passing around the ball to a bunch of
these dudes, and he never really seemed to know week
to week. But one of the things that I do
love about Dalton kinkad is that he leads the Bills
in yards and receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns this season.
And it's a great matchup against the Carolina Panthers, who've
been very vulnerable tight ends this season.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Yeah, it was wild how much the Bills miss Dalton
Kincaid in their last game. It's also wild that Rico's
been in the news all week this week because everyone
is so excited for his matchup. He turned nineteen opportunities
last week into ninety six yards, and he is clearly
the most explosive runner in this backfield, between him and
Cuba Hubbard. And the Bills, well, they've allowed explosive runs

(13:25):
to running backs at the highest rate in the NFL.
They also give up the most yards after contact. I
prefer Daut all of the two, but I do think
Tuba is in play because he was a little bit
more used in the passing game.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
But yeah, start Rico this week against the Bills.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
The Panthers have some white both offensively and defensively.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
We keep rolling on with the forty nine ers and
the Houston Texans, and for all the great things the
Niners offense has put together, I'm going to be on
the other side of this, and I'm gonna tell you
this feels like we you can start Dalton Schultz on
the Houston Texans side. I don't know if you've heard this,
but there are six teams on to buy this week,
which certainly helps his case. But he's running a lot
of routes from the slot, which is where the Niners

(14:02):
have been very vulnerable. They've given up the third most
yards to slot players nineteen explosive pass plays to slot
pass catchers that is the most in the league. Plus
Texans beat up in that department. Still still waiting officially
on word for Nico Collins Christian Kirk. Looks unlikely for
them to be on the field this week. Schultz getting

(14:22):
a lot of opportunity from CJ. Stroud, So if you're
looking for a tight end, he feels like a guy
you can slot into your lineup.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Yeah, Schultz is in play, and I think his QB
is a sleeper this week because like many quarterbacks, c J.
Stroud is at his best one not under pressure. In fact,
the only current starters with a worst EPA wall under
pressure this season are cam Ward and Joe Flacco, and
that is Brown's influence.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
But we have seen CJ.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Stroud have a couple of really big fantasy games this year.
They came against the Ravens and the Titans, two teams
that create pressure at a bottom seven rate in the NFL.
Not only are the forty nine ers in the bottom seven,
they are the lowest team when it comes to creating
pressure since the Nick Bosa injury, So if you give CJ.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Stroud time to throw, I think he will put up numbers,
even if his receivers are a little banged up. So
with six teams on by, he is definitely a sleeper
this week and.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Night are still looking for their first interception in a
really long time, just a weird statistical anomaly.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Up next, we've got the Jets and the Bengals, And
back to you, Floria, what are you keeping an eye on?

Speaker 5 (15:26):
I think you played bres Hall this week if he
plays for the Jets.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Not only with Gary Wilson being banged up, could that
mean more targets for him? But Hall has just seen
so much volume eighteen opportunities per game. And then this
is a fantastic matchup. The Bengals have allowed the second
most rushing yards, fourth most receiving, and the most fantasy
points per game to running backs. They also allow explosive
runs at the third highest rate, and Brice Hall has

(15:52):
picked up explosive runs at the third highest rate. So
if you're not playing bres Hall in this matchup with
six teams on by, why is he even on your roster?

Speaker 6 (16:02):
When I hear about I'm not gonna go there. You
know what I'm gonna say, Start, oh, start all your
Bengals this Sunday against the New York Jets. It's one
of those situations when I watched this Jets situation unfolding
and Garrett Wilson is not gonna play again. It always
reminds me of like when there's guys like Saquon Barkley
was always banged up a lot with the with the Giants,

(16:22):
and now all of a sudden, he's the picture of
health CMC battled injuries forever goes to San Francisco amazingly healthy.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Jalen Ramsey did the same thing.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
So I wonder if we're in one of those situations
where the Jets are on a real down cycle, which
means a huge opportunity for the Bengals. Joe Flacco shows
that he can throw the football, spreading it around. You
don't have to be that generous, like I know that
there's a Yoshivas and all the like, don't don't go
to them. Only Jamar Chase and only T Higgins.

Speaker 7 (16:49):
That's all we need.

Speaker 6 (16:50):
I'm sure Micah Sicky's a nice guy.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
Tell him to take a seat.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
We don't need He's fine, we just don't need him,
all right.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Now he mu on to Foxborough for the Browns and
the Patriots, and chem's like the Bill Belichick Bowl or something.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Oh it could be anyway. It's the third man there.
It is for me able to tell you.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Look, I know the Patriots really like Ramandre Stevenson, right,
it's the reason that we're rage dropping tree Von Anderson.
I want to say, he might still want to be
a little bit wary, and I get him.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
There's six teams on a buy.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
It might be hard to get away from Ramondre Stevenson
this week. But look, man, it's been rough for him
so far this year. He's played well in the good matchups,
he struggled in the bad ones. This is a bad
matchup for him, Cleveland giving up the fewest fantasy points
per game to running back, second fewest receiving yards to
running back, So I don't know if he's gonna do
it on the ground.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Or through the air.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
He's had four games scoring five or fewer fantasy points
this season, so again, maybe you can't completely get away
from him, but if you have any other options, I
would strongly consider them this week.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
You know, that's why the Browns do have some viable
options as players on the offensive side of the ball,
including Harold Fan and Junior had who has had at
least eleven Fantasy points and two out of his last
three leads a team in receptions and receiving yards this season.
As a matter of fact, the Browns have the most
targets per game do a tight end this year, which
means that's where they are funneling all the targets and

(18:15):
the New England Patriots are a little.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
Bit vulnerable to the position.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
They've allowed the fifth most yards per targets to tight
ends this season.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
All right, So Harold fannin very much in play.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
That gets us to our next gen nugget with our
own researcher Kendall Murski at Aka next gin Jin. You
heard us, Kendall give our takes on what we think
is going to go down in this Browns Patriots game.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
But you look a little bit deeper on that, what'd
you find?

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Yeah, you don't love the matchup for Remandre this week.
The running back on the other side also not a
great matchup for quin Shawn Judkins, the only running back
who scored at least fourteen points against the Patriots this
season was Devon Aitchen, but he did most of that
work through the air, and Judkins only has nine catches
in six games this season. What strongest tendencies his rushing

(19:02):
to the strong side of the formation. However, the Patriots
have been very successful at defending strong side running back
rushes this season, ranking top five in various categories. One
of Judkins' best metrics has been his yards after contact,
and the Patriots have allowed the third fewest yards after
contact per carry to running backs this season. So to me,
this is truly something's got to give type of matchup

(19:23):
and it feels to me like it's going to go
in the Patriots side of things. And this is the
tough part to this. You talked about it with Ramandre.
So many people are dictated to with their lineups this week,
with the buys, the injuries, everything. This is for those
lucky few that actually have options this week at running
back and maybe some wide receivers who aren't on buy.
So if you have two realistic running back options and

(19:45):
maybe a wide receiver that you can slip into the flex,
this might be the week you want to put Judkins
on the bench.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
If you can, this is the pain of buy them again. Yes,
it's appreciated, kindall. Certainly something to watch out for this
week time for if you know, you know. We run
through some news headlines that could be important for you.
We start in the Big Apple, where Garrett Wilson has
been ruled out for Sunday with a knee injury. Wilson
leads the Jets with thirty six receptions for three hundred

(20:10):
and ninety five yards on the season. Meanwhile, in Philly,
Nick Sirianni has declined to give a status update on
AJ Brown's availability for Sunday, but the Eagles head coach
did say that Brown is one of those guys who
could definitely play without practicing during the week. And in DC,
Jaden Daniels will miss this week's marquee matchup against the

(20:31):
Chiefs due to a low grade hamstring strain. Commanders will
turn to Marcus Mariota to fill the void on Monday night.
All right, so Florio, with Jaden Daniels out, obviously that
changes some things in the commander's offense. If you were
putting together a lineup with commanders in it, who is
the one guy there that you trust the most.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Yeah, ideally I don't want to play the receivers Terry's
first game back more target count there, But I do
think Bill Jacorey Krosty.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
Merit is in play this week.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
For fantasy managers because I expect them one to just
try to run the ball as much as possible and
keep Patch Mahomes on the sideline.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
But also he's been dominating volume.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Seventy seven percent of the running back carries over the
last three weeks.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Has gone his way.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
He has also led that backfield in routes in that span,
and while the Chiefs might look on paper like a
tough matchup, they've allowed a higher than league average yards
per carry, yards before and after contact, and explosive run rate.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
So if you can build this much volume, I think
he could still come through for fantasy purposes.

Speaker 6 (21:33):
Oh I'm such a child, but I'm gonna the explosive
runs thing. If you had spent time in the household
this week, it would have an entirely different meaning for you.
But because of their vulnerability to running to allowing big runs,
Deebo Samuel does give me some intrigue because they can
find creative ways to get him the football, and I

(21:54):
think with Marcus Mariota, Cliff Kingsbury's going to really need
to rely on his creativity with it. So as I'm
sitting here again, I wouldn't ideally want to be starting
Deebo Samuel in this situation, but given everything with the
six teams.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
On a buy, I know we're going on and on about.

Speaker 6 (22:10):
This, there's a real opportunity for Deebo where if you're
in a real tough situation, I think he could have
a little bit of value for you.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
I am starting Terry McLaurin in a league.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
I'm not super Jazz Divided, but that's just sort of
the way things worked out for me this week.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Back to the game previews.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Now we're gonna get to the Sunday night game between
the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Obviously, Aaron
Rodgers going against his former club is sort of the
headline story there.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
I am not exactly the Steelers tight end whisper.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
The way Michael f Floria was, but I'm gonna spin
the wheel and I'm going to give you John new
Smith as a sleeper this week. Now, three of the
top five most targeted Steelers this season are all playing
the tight end position of that group. It is John
new Smith that leads in routes, run and in targets.
We've been targeting the Packers all year when it comes
to tight ends giving up the samo's fantasy points per games.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
You see that too.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Tight ends give it up four touchdowns to the position
over the last three games. So look, I think Johnasmith
is the guy, but we saw last week it could
be anybody could be Pat Fryern with whose birthday actually
is this weekend?

Speaker 3 (23:13):
There it is.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Yeah, I like the tight ends, but I really like
Aaron Rodgers this week.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
I think he is a sleeper.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
Look, Rogers could say this is not a revenge game,
but does anyone believe him? Like I think anytime the
Steelers getting near the end zone, they are going to
be throwing the ball a bunch. Plus, Rogers has averaged
twenty fantasy points per game in his last two games.
And the Packers, while they are a tough defense, they
low key have allowed the most fantasy points per game

(23:39):
to quarterbacks in the last month. So people in Pittsburgh
are gonna be fired up.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
They're going to be more excited.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
For this than anything since the good An ten year
anniversary release last wenight.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
So shout out to Pittsburgh and mac Miller.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
I didn't think we'd squeeze a mcnode reference in there. Actually,
Ben's Floria, so I shouldn't be surprised. Time now for
season season by Caesar sports Book. According to Caesar Sports Book,
here are the most likely players to score the first
touchdown during this week's Sunday Night showdown between the Packers
and the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Not a surprise.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I see Josh Jacobs at the top of the list,
followed by Jalen Warren, then Tucker Kraft, DK Metcalf, and
then Romeo Dobbs rounding out the top five. So these
Steelers have eleventy different tight ends and not a single one.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Of them made this list. Florio, you're gonna pick for
one of these, You're gonna go off book for your
person to score the first touchdown.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
I'm going off book because, like you said, they have
four different tight ends that they love to throw to.
And I know people are like, Oh, he's picking John
new Smith. Nope, He's picking Pat Fryan, Nope, he's picking Darnawat, Nope,
it's Connor Hayward. Because he was the only one who
didn't score a touchdown last week. But not only does
he lead this Steelers and end zone targets in the
last three weeks, he has half of their end zone targets.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
And just like I was saying, I expect the.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
Steel the Steelers to throw a bunch when they get
near the goal line this week. And the Packers third
most touchdowns allowed two tight ends. It actually makes sense
to target your tight ends when you get in the
red zone this week. If you are Arthur Smith, so
feed Connor Hayward Dine.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
New users can bet one dollar to boost in their

Ce Caesars dot Com slash promos for full terms.

Speaker 6 (25:22):
Big Welcome back to NFL Fantasy Live as we see
it here, roll along with our game previews and Michael Leflaia.
Let me see I want to see if I have
this correct. You're a lot like Taylor Katie Perry. You're
in and you're out, you're hot and you're cold. You fight,
you break up, you kiss, you make up. What is
going on with Kyle Pitts.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
I was wondering where you were going with that.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
Yeah, I said last week, I'm no longer the Kyle
Pitts Guide, but maybe I guess I'll be coming it
again because I think you start him again this week
against the Dolphins. Last week team high ten targets turning
into seven catches in sixty two yards. It's just a
great matchup. The Dolphins have allowed the fifth most yards
to tight ends. They struggled against the slaw and Kyle

(26:03):
Pitts leads the Falcons and slot snaps.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
I was trying to think of a Katy Perry lyric
to throw back at you on the fly, but I'm
coming up. Blink.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
You change your mind like the Browns changed quarterbacks.

Speaker 7 (26:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
Let's talk about Drake London, who is at least twenty
five Fantasy points in two out of his last three games.
He is averaging over ten targets per game this season,
that's third most in the NFL. And then we have
the Miami Dolphins. They're not playing, they're not playing really
good football. They've allowed the tenth most receiving our tenth
most receiving touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Feel confident

(26:35):
playing all your Falcons, even Darnell Mooney would be a
nice little sleeper.

Speaker 7 (26:39):
Let's keep it down.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
South, Let's go to New Orleans and let's talk a
little bit about the New Orleans Saints. Now, earlier today,
Kellen Moore came out and said that my guy Devin
Neil that I've been talking about all week is going
to see an uptick. So I think that he's a
sleeper in this one actually might be a little bit
better than a sleeper. He's a six round draft pick
out of Kansas and he's looked pretty good. It's just

(27:01):
one of the things that I noticed last week that
Alvin Kamara it might be that it might it might
be like one of those bands we're joking before the
before the break, like Duran. Duran is not going to
sell out Mercedes Benz Superdome. Maybe maybe the Smoothie King
Center next door. That's what it feels like with Alvin Kamara,
which is why I feel comfortable going with Devin Neil. Now,

(27:23):
the Buccaneers have allowed a top seven running back in
each of the last two weeks, which is pretty pretty
pretty staggering. But what about you, Michael, who do you
got sleeper wise sleeper?

Speaker 5 (27:34):
I'm going with Tes Johnson here.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Who last week played nearly seventy percent of the snaps
and he saw nine targets, which should not be overlooked.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Turned that into.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Four catches for fifty eight yards and a touchdown. But
the Bucks don't have Mike Evans, they don't have Chris Godwin,
but what they do have is TEDZ Johnson and it
seems like he has the trust of Baker Mayfield right now.
Plus the Saints have allowed the second most fantasy points
per target to out wide wise receivers. So TEDS Johnson
is a firework. He's going to go out there this

(28:04):
week and show them what he's worth.

Speaker 7 (28:06):
You know what.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
My pick for MVP, let's keep it a buck here
with the Tennessee Titans, who have not been playing well
this season.

Speaker 7 (28:13):
But you do believe there's somebody that can start.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
I think there's someone you could sit.

Speaker 7 (28:18):
Actually, I was trying. I was trying to maintain eye contact.
I wasn't going to read the key.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
No, I give you credit. It's hard to drive the train.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
But I think Tony Pollard is a sit as he
has yet to reach fifteen Fantasy points this season, single
digits in three different games, plus tough matchup the Colts
have allowed the fourth fewest fantasy points per game two
running backs and hot take. The Titans are likely to
be trailing in this one, which means you can't really
run the ball. If you want to bank on catchup

(28:48):
targets for your running back, sure, but that's not.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
The way I like to live my fantasy.

Speaker 7 (28:52):
I want to give a little lout to Daniel Jones.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
Obviously you're probably going to be starting him, but I
want to point out he's at least twenty two fantasy
points in two straight games, two touchdown on passes at
each of the last three. This might have some meanings
of some other people who play other forms of fantasy
football this week. Daniel Jones is gonna be a guy
who will probably be rerosttered in a lot of leagues
and a lot of leagues, if you know what I'm saying.
But still wanted to give him a little bit love,

(29:14):
a little bit of love for the great work that
he's done. Now I'm Omar Ruiz with an oh wit
not Prompter's not for me. There are a lot of
notable quarterbacks ought to buy this week. A lot of
people are the kids are calling it by mcgeddon here
to help you through these troubled times is my friend
Marcus Graham.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Adam Ran, Yeah, you know, I mean it's one thing
to put that together visually we talk about buy him
again and what that sort of means, but it's one
thing to see it like that. So I just wanted
to take just a little bit of your time and
kind of help you through this week.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Put a minute on the clock if you don't mind.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
You know, you ever have one of those bad days,
It isn't really a bad day, it's just sort of
bad enough to be annoying. I mean, like, you know,
you remember to take your earbuds, but then you find
out they don't have any juice. You get in the car,
the gas tank light comes on. Then all of a sudden,
it's like three o'clock. You realize you're wearing two different
colored shoes. So all you gotta do is sit back
at that point just say, you know what, I'm taking
it out to day. That's what Bi mcgainn is going

(30:08):
to be like for some of you out there. I
mean that draft start you had with I'm on ro
Saint Brown, pookin a Coup and Trey McBride I mean
it was.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Hitting for several weeks and it will again, just not
this week.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
I mean, look, Sonic and Knuckles, they are on team
take the week off zone. Meanwhile, JSN bye, let's keep
it the buck here. You're not going to go and
blow up your entire roster for a collection of one
week fill in guys.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
So what are you do in that situation?

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Well, my advice to you is just take the week off,
make it your own bide week, enjoy it, Go see
a movie, catch up with an old friend, read the
next chapter of that book you started in January. Promise
you'd finish Biden Thanksgiving. Still have that opportunity. But you
know what, don't check your fantasy team because you're probably
gonna take it out.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
There you go. This has been a minute with Marcus.
Time for some guarantees as we take it to the rank.

Speaker 6 (30:57):
Oh Marcus, big week because the cluone dog, George Clooney
himself said Ocean's fourteen, the script.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Is done and it's ready.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
He was dead.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
He died in Ocean. It doesn't matter. Let's talk about
some of the big games this week. Let's start with
this Miami and Atlanta game.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I talked about a moment ago.

Speaker 6 (31:13):
Devon ah Chan has been one of the bright spots
for this miserable Miami team. Miami the West ham of
NFL teams this season. Still, one thing that you can
count on is that week in and week out that
Devon A Chan is going to be a huge part
of this offense as a runner, but as a receiver.
And when you look at the matchup this week against
the Atlanta Falcons, there was a huge opportunity for him.

(31:34):
So I'm going to go out here and say that
Devon A Chan will have at least five receptions this week.
I guess what, chuck it Bee, you can take it
to the right. Oh, we'll get it. Hey, Oh, that
one got away from me. Let's stay in this game.
Because one of the guys who's been really productive for
the Atlanta Falcons, we were talking about a bunch of them.
We were talking about Drake London, we were talking about compits.

Speaker 7 (31:56):
What about Tyler Al's year?

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Now, obviously with Jon Robinson playing.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
His he is it's easy to overlook the contributions that
Tyler Algear has made this season. But he's done a
really nice job for this Falcons team, and he actually
has some standalone value in weeks like this in by mcgeddon.
If you're desperate for a flex spot, he is somebody
that you can get in there.

Speaker 7 (32:16):
But as I look at.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
This right now, and despite the fact that he did
show up on the injury report this week, I'm going
to say that this is a great opportunity. The Dolphins
have allowed the most rushing yards per game to running
backs this season. Tyler Al's year will have at.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
Least forty two rushing yards. And guess what, Vanessa, you
can take it to the rank.

Speaker 5 (32:36):
That was Let's.

Speaker 7 (32:38):
Get mile high.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
Dallas Cowboys Denver Broncos. Everybody knows that I have been.

Speaker 7 (32:43):
A Day one bowliever.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
I love bow Nicks and he's got a great matchup
this week against the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
As a matter of.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Fact, with the vulnerabilities that we've seen out of those Broncos,
out of the Broncos defense, lends itself to being a
high scoring game this week. Prescott bow Knicks getting up
and down the field, and I have a hunch that
bow Knicks will actually play in the first couple of
quarters this time too, not just rely on a monster
fourth quarter. But one of the things that I really

(33:11):
like is his ability to run the football. And the
Cowboys have allowed the second most rushing yards to quarterbacks
this season.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
So when I look at Bownicks, he is.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
Going to have a great game and Kendall, I'm going
to say that Boknicks will have at least twenty four
rushing yards and you can take it to the rank.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Oh oh, he did it.

Speaker 7 (33:33):
Finally, why do we not have a camera point in there?

Speaker 3 (33:37):
That was awesome.

Speaker 6 (33:39):
Finally, let's talk about the New York Giants. Speaking of
the Den, I know, I know, Giants fans, you have
some PTSD is like a camp scattaby. You got camp
Scatby and you got Jackson dark. Trust me is somebody
who roots for a team who last season had one
of the most gut wrenching losses of all time.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
You know what it ended up?

Speaker 6 (33:58):
It started a butterfly effect which actually ended up with
the Bears getting Ben Johnson. I hope that last week
was something that will lead you guys to better days ahead.
But still, you got cam Scataboo. You gotta love the energy.
You gotta love the fact of anybody who's gonna go
out there and go pectoral to pectoral with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Speaker 7 (34:17):
You gotta love the guy.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
So I say that this week Cam Scataboo will score
a touchdown and chuck you bee.

Speaker 7 (34:23):
Let me take you to the right right almost again.

Speaker 6 (34:29):
And those are our take it to the rank selections
for this week. And here are some notable teams on
a buy some wide receivers and tight ends JSN no Pookinaku,
I'm on Ross Saint Brown in addition to Trey McBride
and Sam Laporta.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
All right, that gets us to another edition, Go with
the Flow, where our own fantasy is in.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Master Michael F.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
Florio gives you some advice to help you get through
this by mcgeddon. So please, mister Florio, can you align
our fantasy chakras?

Speaker 5 (35:01):
Please? Yeah? What's up? Man? Woody Mars.

Speaker 4 (35:06):
His name reminds me of one of my favorite things, trees,
And last Monday we got to watch that groovy tree
blossom before our eyes. Leading that backfield in snaps carries targets,
red zone usage and flower power Man. But this week
he gets a totally far out matchup against a banged

(35:30):
up forty nine ers defense that has just struggled against
the run. They've allowed a lot of yards before contact.
So Mark should get room to run this week. So
you all out there you could call me Andy because
I am playing Woody this week, and you all should
go with the flow and do the same. And then
look us hippies. We're all about peace and love.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Man.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
But I gotta say I totally hate Aaron.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
Glenn for not naming a quarterback and making me change
this segment. I love wins and so does his receiver.
So move over, Travis and Taylor, because this week the best,
most well known love story is going to be Romeo Romeo,
where art thou Romeo and the fantasy managers who he

(36:16):
helped survive by mcgeddon eight or more targets in three
straight games, averaging nearly eighteen Fantasy points per game in
this span. So this week it is going to be
Romeo dubs for all of those who go with the
flow and start the Packers receiver.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Now I must stay Michael left Florio.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
We appreciate your sound advice to help everybody find a
little bit of peace and harmony during this by mcgeddon
this week, Hey, we're not done here on NFL Fantasy
Live from a Stars on a by the Stars in
your high. We asked you that home and hit us
up on social media. You came out in full force.
We are answering your questions after the break.

Speaker 8 (37:12):
I got one.

Speaker 7 (37:13):
Game ball for right now.

Speaker 5 (37:14):
We'll have more tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
I have one game ball right now.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (37:18):
Already talked about defense for turnovers. Okay, defense forty four
yards on the ground, all right, defense for sacks.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Bears have a little bit of fun. Rank have a
little bit of fun on social media. Find it hilarious
and a bit flattering how everyone wants to be the
Bears rival.

Speaker 6 (37:51):
You know, I do a Bears podcast, and it's amazing
that so much of the traffic comes from.

Speaker 7 (37:55):
Commanders fans, Lions fans.

Speaker 6 (37:59):
Some of our ival fantasy companies have been taking shots
at the Bears recently, like its every what is what.

Speaker 7 (38:04):
Have we done?

Speaker 3 (38:05):
Like?

Speaker 6 (38:05):
People are like, oh, you guys haven't been relevant in
forty Okay, fine, why are you here?

Speaker 3 (38:10):
Why do you care about what we talk about all
the time?

Speaker 6 (38:12):
And when we see Dennis Allen right there accepting a
game ball, he's going to have to earn it this week.
Four bear of the Bears top cornerbacks are out this week.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
Already it's gonna be a tough go.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
We'll have to find some power for Bears fans. In
the meantime, got a little bit of power to the
people as we answer some of the questions you sent
us on social media.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
So we will run through these.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
First one for you, Michael at Florio, start Swift or
Javonte Williams.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
I would go with DeAndre Swift there. He's been playing great.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
The Bear has been running the ball at a high rate,
outside runs at a high rate, and it's a good
matchup on paper.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
All right, So DeAndre Swift getting the not I don't.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
Want to be the Bears rival.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
It is all right? This one for you? Should I
trade Junkins for Henry?

Speaker 6 (39:00):
I would want to keep Judkins. I know that, you
know Kenna was talking about I want to ID want
to keep them.

Speaker 7 (39:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (39:05):
I don't like trading as a thing like I would
rather just hang on to my players. You went through
the scouting department and all that her own personal scouting department.

Speaker 7 (39:14):
I would keep Judkins.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
I'm going, what do you think, Kendall?

Speaker 5 (39:18):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
I mean I don't have a problem with it.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Season long, all right, all right? So Judkins the answer
for Derek. Here, that's a surprise.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
My friend has to say one of these four running
backs for week eight e Chan Scattaboo, Henry or Judkins. Well,
you're starting a chin in front, Scautabu. I'm gonna say you, Sid.

Speaker 5 (39:36):
Junkins, Listen to Next Gen Ken.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Listen next Gen Ken, he said, Sid Judkins. So I'm
gonna say Sid Judkins. There you go, thank you for
all of your questions. Meanwhile, my own days Fantasy headlines
today we let you know what's gonna happen in the future. Uh, Floria,
what do you got for for this weekend?

Speaker 4 (39:54):
Baked Benyet's because Baker, coming off his down game, is
gonna remind the.

Speaker 5 (39:57):
World just how good he is in New Orleans.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
I'm gonna say that love conquers mister Rogers neighborhood. Yeah,
matt Leflora is gonna unleash Jordan Love this week and
it is going to be a big game for the
Green Bay Packers.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
I got a Wild West shootout in Denver between the
Cowboys and the Broncos. The Cowboy offense is good, Cowboy
defense is bad. The Broncos should score a lot of
points that will wrap it up for us here on
this initiation of Fantasy Live back when you're on Monday.
To wrap things up from Bining Legeddon, thanks for watching
for Florida for Rank and Marcus.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
See you next week.
