Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Wow. It's a Friday Week twelve edition of the Fantasy
Football Podcast. I'm Marcus Grant and I'll be joined by
Adam Rank and Michael f Florio, which Josh Allen can
you expect as we get closer to the fantasy playoffs?

(00:22):
Plus starts and sits for all of Sunday's games, including
the NFC East battle in Dallas and next Gen Kin
lets us know if you should love the Packers quarterback
against the Vikings. Happy Friday, everybody, Welcome to another edition
of NFL Fantasy Live. I'm Marcus Grant, that's Adam Rank,
that is Michael f Florio and Florida. I just want to
do a wellness check after what went down last night

(00:43):
in Houston.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I'm wearing black some more than the Bill season for
a reason. Look, maybe they could go on a run
or whatever. I could talk the whole hour about it,
but changes they need, big ones need to be made
this office.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I mean, as the number one Josh Allen fan on
this show, how we feeling.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Really concerned about? You know, it's one of those things
Thursday night games can get a little bit wonky. I'm concerned,
but I'm not overly panicked yet.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
All right, we definitely took away some different things from
the game, right, what was one of the things you
learned from last night?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Well, I do want to point out too, I know
a lot of people they've reached out because of what
we talked about on the show yesterday about starting Josh Allen.
There was one specific question about Josh Allen and Drake
May And I know that it's a hot, taky thing
to come back and look back on hindsight, but my
process is always going to be that I'm starting Josh Allen.
I understand that it was not great last night, and

(01:34):
it is going to be one of those things that
you're going to look at over the course of the
weekend and see less than eight fantasy points and be
like what has become with my life?

Speaker 4 (01:41):
But I'm not going to get into a situation in
Week sixteen.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Where you're like, well, Bryce Young's got a nice matchup,
and no, this is my thing. I drafted Josh Allen
for a reason. If Josh Allen does not play well,
my fantasy team is not going to win. I'm not
going to chase this bad performance. I'm not going to
get overlay dramatic about it. He's coming off a game
where he scored six touchdowns and now he gave you
a bad performance here. That happens, It's Thursday night. Move on,

(02:09):
grow up and move on. You're going to be Jess Fine.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
Yeah, I'm not panicking at all on Josh Allen.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
In fact, I think we should be giving credit to
the Texans defense right Like I know today the talking
point is all about the Bills and Josh Allen and
how he struggled. But the Texans got eight sacks last night.
That is a career high against Josh Allen, and they
did so by blitzing just sixteen percent of the time.
They were rushing four against one of the league's best

(02:38):
o lines quote unquote and winning consistently. So the QBS
who face them in the upcoming weeks, Daniel Jones Mahomes,
maybe roll the dice there percent Herbert and Championship Week,
I would have a Plan B in those matchups, just
because I don't want to go against his Texans defense.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Well, back on the Bills side of things, I think
what we've learned over the last couple of weeks, but
especially last night, is this is not a deep offense
when it comes to fantasy. They're about two and a
half players. I think you can start on this team consistently.
Josh Allen, absolutely, James Cook, Hell, yes.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
She can.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Khalils Shakir some of the time. Last night was a
good night for Khalil Shaker, but there are some days
where it's just sort of yeah. So you know, if
you're trying to do all this gymnastics and you look.
I know we're been talking about Keon Coleman. I know
we were sort of hoping for more from a healthy
Dalton Kinkaid. But I think consistently it's Alan, it's Cook,
and then when the matchup is right, it is Khalil Shakir.

(03:33):
And beyond that, it's just hard to really count on
anybody of his bills offense for fantasy. But I was
talking a little bit more about Josh Allen because obviously,
as you mentioned, you drafted him for a reason. He
was one of the first two or three quarterbacks off
the board in every fantasy league. He didn't give you
the six touchdowns last week eight points this past week.
Are you concerned about him going into the fantasy playoffs?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
I mean, like it's one of those things that if
I was an objective observer of the NFL, I would
look at this and say, the.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Bills need to make some changes.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
They need to make some organizational changes, whether it's at
the play caller, whether it's at the head coach, or
whatever it is, because you're sort of wasting away Josh
Allen's career is somebody who roots for the Los Angeles Angels.
I know a thing or two about wasting great talents.
I would like to see the Bills be more proactive
in trying to go out there and build a winner

(04:24):
for him. When you look at some of these other
teams and you look at the way that they construct rosters,
That's what I would do. But again, going back to
the point again, there's no Houston Texans on this list.
Right here, you don't have to worry about the boogeyman.
The Patriots are middle of the road against quarterbacks, The
Browns are fine. The Eagles he can go out there
and make some moves against. But again, you knew this

(04:46):
full well. Josh Allen gives you an ability to win
each and every week.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Maybe cut out the.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Bubble screens and let him go out there and do
his thing. But again, whatever happens happens, I'm winning or
losing with Josh.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah, you know the last time the Bill's won in Houston,
temperature by Sean Paul was the number one hit in
the country. It was in two thousand and six. This
defense just gives Alan trouble. Last year completed thirty percent
of his passes. That was a career low through for
one thirty one. And to your point, it's not helping
at all that Joe Brady builds the entire ship on
meshs and screens.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
But we have seen Josh Allen go off against good defenses.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
No QB brings a higher ceiling, especially considering the fact
that the Bill's defense can't stop a nosebleed right now. Yeah,
big changes need to happen, but Josh is not one
of them. You continue to start him in fantasy football.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Was not expecting a Sean Paul drop on the show
today when we started things out. That will help us
get us the fairly further into Week twelve. And this
week is the start of my cause, Mike cleats. These
are the ones that aj Brown will trot out to
the big NFC East matchup in Dallas between the Eagles
and Cowboys. Browns cleats are supporting his own foundation which

(05:58):
helps create a positive pathway and a brighter future for kids.
So that is a good way to talk about this
big matchup between the Cowboys and the Eagles, big ones
in the NFC East, and so Flourial kick us off.
Who do you got in this one?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I'm being aware of the Cowboys right Like, I don't
think they're just a straight sit. You play CD, you
play pickings, but the rest of them, like Dak again,
not a must sit. But if you have another option
you like, I would take it because the Eagles have
allowed the fewest passing touchdowns this season. They held them
to under two hundred yards and no touchdowns in Week one,
and their defense is just getting better. Their pressure and

(06:34):
sacrate have dramatically gone up in the last month. They
have been really tough against running backs and tight ends.
So same situation with Javonte and Jake Ferguson. I'm not
telling you to just sit them for anyone on your bench,
but if you're looking at your lineup and you're like
I do like this bench option this week, you can
elevate them and put them in for your Cowboys in

(06:55):
the really tough matchups.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
That's sort of how I'm feeling about Dallas Goddard. I'm
suggesting where I mean, look, he's the tight end six overall,
so it's hard to just straight up set the guy,
but understand that he does not score a touchdown, the
chances of him putting up a below number are pretty high.
He's been incredibly touchdown to penn It has seven of
them so far this season, which accounts for more than
a third of his overall fantasy points. He's played nine

(07:19):
games this year. He has fewer than fifty receiving yards
in eight of them, so unless he is finding the
painted area, it's going to be tough. The good news
is the Cowboys defense, while it is improved, still giving
up yards and points and touchdowns, so there are some
upside potentially there for Dallas Goddard. Moving on to at
least what on paper is the biggest game of the week,
it is the Colts at the well that you don't

(07:41):
believe that the Rams are playing next door they are.
That's a big game. It is a big game, Box
I said, possibly the biggest game of the week.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Chimes aren't even in the playoff.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I mean they've been in the super Bowl three straight year.
That's true. Yeah, that's your player anyway, Colts, and sorry,
Mark is serving him.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Mike's like waving us along like he's I'm waving the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Beat in the season, got anyway this one.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
I forgot my point of what I was. Travis Kelcey obviously, no, no, no,
everybody's starting Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I'm not telling you anything.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
What I don't believe that people are paying attention to
is how well Travis kelce has been playing over the
last couple of weeks, at least twenty one Fantasy points
in two of his last three to receiving touchdowns in
his last three games. The matchup this week is really good.
The Colts have allowed the third most receiving yards the
tight ends this season. This could be another huge opportunity
for him. And again, if this Chiefs team, they're always

(08:34):
going to be lurking. I am being a little bit
uptoce on that they're always lurking. One of the reasons
why is how well Travis Kelcey's playing.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Yeah, I'm over that as a Bills fan struggling.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Right now, But I think on the other side, you
can try to be aware of Michael Pittman in this
one a lot like with the Cowboys, right, not a
straight seat, but it depends on your matchups. I hate
this matchup though, for Michael Pittman Junior, because the Chiefs
are bottom five than yards and touchdowns, yards on deep
passes and yards on out to out wide wide receivers,

(09:06):
which is where Michael Pittman operates. So and on top
of all of that, the Colts have shown they're not
afraid to go to their secondary options, like I think
Tyler Warring goes off this week.

Speaker 5 (09:15):
I think Josh Downs could be a little bit more utilized.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
And no one, even the Chiefs, I don't think anyone
could stop Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
So not sure this is the biggest Pittman week.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
All right. So being concerned about Michael Pittman, that gets
us to the Bengals and the Patriots and certainly waiting
on a lot of news with the quarterback position. We
do know Jamar Chase is going to be suspended for
this one. But on the other side of this one,
I like Hunter Henry as a start this year. Hunter
Henry's kind of becomes shorthand is that guy that you
draft and nobody's really excited about him, but then he

(09:44):
gives you several usable fancy wits. You're like, Okay, maybe
this wasn't the worst pick ever. So part of this obviously,
plus yeah, yeah, look, part of this obviously is the Bengals. Right,
We've been picking on them all year long. I don't
know why we would stop now. They have been the
best match up statistically four tight ends this season, and
even though Drake may have spreading the ball around, we're

(10:05):
seeing more Stefan Diggs, We're seeing Kasehon Booty occasionally. Hunter
Henry is still getting a pretty consistent target share, and look, understandably,
the bar is low for what constitute's success for a
fantasy tight end, but Hunter Henry certainly has all the
conditions for a pretty good fantasy week. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
I like him this week, And I think you could
start Joe against the Patriots, which one we don't know yet,
but whichever one starts for the Bengals I think is
in play for fantasy. Because the Patriots have allowed nineteen
or more fantasy points to a quarterback in three straight,
including nine touchdowns in the last four games, and every Bengals.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Game is a score fest.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
It feels like the quarterback always has to throw, especially
with Drake May on the other side, and the Patriots
are a lead at stopping the run, so I think
we see even more passing.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Whether it's Flacco or Burrow, I think they are.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
In play this week in fantasy all right, So we
are big on a Bingals quarterback, whoever that quarterback might be.
You know, we will stay tuned to find out the
answer to that one. Next up, going to Detroit. It
is the Giants and the Lions, and Rick, you're going
out on a limb here.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I see now like last week where Cynthia Frielan was
just sitting here trying to rack up as many humble
brags as possible. Monday, I'm just like, I'll take an
easy one with Jamir Gibbs, who I got to be
honest with you, is one of the most exciting players
in the NFL right now, and again there's no doubt
that you're starting him this You're like, oh great, thanks, Ray,
I was thinking about benjing him.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Nobody was thinking about benching him.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
I didn't want to take an opportunity to just spotlight
the fact that he's had at least nineteen Fantasy points
in three out of his last four, he's averaging over
five rushing yards five yards per rush. This year reminds
me of another great Lions running back back in the
day who War number twenty. And of course I'm talking
about Billy Simms. You've never heard of Billy Simms. Don't
act like you've heard that name, no, but it is like,

(11:55):
you know, one of the great Lions running backs of
the past. And so you know what, I think that's
he's so incredibly good. I just wanted to come out
and just shout that to the rooftops. And again, the
Giants are a great matchup for him. There's a very
real possibility that Jamir Gibbs puts up a forty burger
this week. As Matt, I'll just say he's gonna put
up a forty burger this week against the Giants, all right,

(12:17):
I'll say it.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Ooh spicy.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
I look, my starting citem is filled with Lions this week.
But I think on the other side, you sit the.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Giants running backs because in the first game without Dable
last week, they split opportunities pretty much down the middle.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Snaps were split.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Tracy saw more carries and his more explosive while Singletary
ranmore routes and had the goal line work. And on
top of it all, the Lions are extremely tough on
running backs on the ground and through the air, which
is why they allowed the fewest fantasy points to running
backs without Dark this week.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
I think you very much, so look to avoid this backfield.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, Jackson Dart's been ruled out. Jameis Winston will get
another start. By the way, A shout out to Michael
Florya who pointed out to me that on Pro Football Reference,
Tyrone Tracy his nickname is Paul Pierce. If you can
say it's no. If you can figure that one out
and you're a smarter person than I am. Here's a
fade looking.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Downfield for Smith and Jack Bob Boo.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Plucked it with one.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Hand against Darius Williams outside, and tell you what, you're
the best DePaul connection.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
In the league. Not only does Jason make big plays,
but he was our pal Cam Wolfe's best dressed player
of Week eleven as well. So a big thing's going
on for Jackson, Smith and Jig. But I guess it's
the Seahawks and Titans and Florio start us off with
what you're looking at.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Usually it's sick Kenneth Walker, but this week and maybe
moving forward, start Kenneth Walker. Last week we saw him
the lead back for the Seahawks, leading them in snaps,
carried his routes, targets, and even.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Getting a goal on Carrie.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
And after his big performance, head coach Mike McDonald came
out and said that Walker has earned more opportunities and
it comes in a great matchup as the Titans have
allowed the second most touchdowns and our top ten in
yards and fantasy points allowed to running backs. So Seattle's
best and most explosive running back is back in play
in our fantasy lives.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
And since I have taken a couple of chip shots here,
I'll go for a sleeper with Rashid Shahed And it's
going to take a little bit of work for this
to get going. Ryan Fitzpatrick was pointing this out last night.
You know it's close between him and Sam Clemente Darnold.
The connection is going to be there at some point.
When is going to be the breakout game? Well, I
think it could be this week against the Titans, who

(14:32):
have allowed the second most fantasy points per game to
wide receivers over the last four weeks, They've allowed the
most yards per targets to wide receivers this season. This
is a huge breakout potential for Rashid Shihed.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Hopefully the Seahawks trying to bounce back after a tough
one last week against the Rams. Next to the Steelers
and the Bears, I will defer to you who you
were talking about.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Oh, you know, there's a number of possibilities we could
go with right here, but I'm going to go with
Roma Doonze, who continues to be the most targeted player
in this offense. He leads a team in targets, receiving yards,
and receiving touchdowns this season by a lot. He is
also one of the biggest targets in the red zone,
the eighth highest red zone target share amongst wide receivers

(15:14):
this season. And the Steelers defense has really struggled against
wideouts this year. I know they've spent a lot of
time this week trying to bottle in the energy that
Cayleb Williams takes in the pocket, avoiding.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Sacks and everything like that.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
But with Ben Johnson out there scheming them up, I
think there's a real big opportunity for Roma Dunda this week.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
On the other side, beware of Kenneth gain Well. Now,
some of it has to do with who may or
may not be there for the Steelers. Jalen Warren has
been limited in practice this week. If Warren plays, and
you know it is going to be a two man backfield,
Pittsburgh not going away from that. But even without Jalen Warren,
I'm not sure that volume is going to be enough
to win the day for Kenneth gain Well. So far

(15:58):
this season, he has just two games with more than
thirty six scrimmage jars. They're sort of middle of the
pack when it comes to stopping fantasy running backs, but
this potentially could be a lower scoring game. And don't
really love the outlook. And I say this to somebody
who may have to start Kenneth gain Well in a
league this week, but not super excited about the potential
for what he could do in fantasy. Get to an

(16:19):
NFC North matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green
Bay Packers, and Florio, I admire your commitment to sticking
with a guy who is really good but is not
having maybe his best season.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Yeah, I think you should start justin Jefferson and before
people at home are like, I know to start him.
I'm also just highlighting him.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Go trade for him today is the deadline in most
NFL dot Com leagues. Trade for him today while you can,
because he is the best wide receiver schedule in the
fantasy playoffs. His last four games of the fantasy season,
he gets the Commanders, the Cowboys, the.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Giants, and the Lions.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
I understand that people are really worried about him because
right now he is the water receive thirteen in overall
points and that is a down.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Year for him, but bylow on his talent and the
best wide.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Receiver schedule and just hope that touchdown regression hits. If
it does, he's going to win people championships.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
On the other side, I'm telling you to start the
Packers defense. And some of it is about the Packers
defense itself, but a lot of it is about the
guy playing quarterback on the other side, because JJ McCarthy,
aside from a couple of quarters against the Bears and
usually the script at the start of the game, the
first fifteen or so plays, he looks good. Beyond that,
it just has been a struggle for McCarthy this year.
He's been sacked fifteen times in the five games he's played.

(17:36):
He has at least one interception in every single game.
Defenses are averaging about ten fantasy points per game when
McCarthy has started for Minnesota. So if you were on
the fence about a defense or looking to stream, check
and see if the Packers are out there, because I
think they're a really good option for you coming up
this week. So that actually gets us too, next Jim
Nuggets with our own next Jim Kinaka Researchill Kendall Murski

(17:59):
and our thoughts on that Vikings Packers matchup with the
Chamber used a little bit of a deeper look at it.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
Yeah, we got a lot of quarterbacks injured or on
by this week, so I figured some people could be
looking for fill in options. And ordinarily I don't like
to pick on the Vikings defense, but I really like
how things line up for Jordan Love this week. The
main reason is because of how much the Vikings blitz.
They have a forty seven point seven percent blitz rate

(18:26):
this season, which leads the NFL, and Jordan Love has
been fantastic against the blitz all season. He ranks top
eight among quarterbacks in all of these metrics against the Blitz,
but most importantly, he's generated the third most EPA per
dropback against the Blitz. Since Week seven, the Vikings have
allowed the third most yards per pass attempt, and Jordan
Love He's scored at least twenty eight Fantasy points in

(18:48):
two of his last three games against the Vikings. So
if he's someone who's somehow still floating around on your
waiver wire, or he's one of your two quarterbacks, you know,
the one that's on the bench and maybe your other
one on buy or injured, I think this is the
week you got to confidently put him into your lineup.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
All right. As the videos once said, all you need
is Jordan, Thank you, Ken, appreciate it. Show it up
here HUNTINGFL Fantasy Live Sunday night. There's a showdown right
next door and Sofi Stadium. So which fantasy stars might

(19:55):
Time for some news updates in If you Know, You Know.
We will start in Tampa, where Todd Bowles delivered some
fantasy worthy news. First up, Bucky Irving is officially out
for Sunday's contest against the Rams. On the flip side,
wide receiver Chris Godwin is trending toward making his return
Sunday night at SOFI Stadium, staying in the NFC. Some

(20:16):
tough news for those of you with Sam Laporta on
your rosters. Dan Campbell spoke to reporters today delivered the
news that Laporta underwent surgery for a lingering back issue
and is unlikely to return to the field this season.
So Florio, let's kind of dive into that a little bit. Obviously,
if you have Sam Laporta, you had to make arrangements
because he's been on IR for a little bit. But

(20:37):
if you are the type to maybe stream tight ends,
any suggestions for people could go in the short term.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
As someone who has Sam Laparte on a few rosters,
I had to stream weekly and I'm gonna have to
but Kada and if he is out, there is a
name that I like and has double digit Fantasy points
in four of his last six games.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
No, Mike Evans.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
It's looking like Godwin is going to return, but I
still expect and to be heavily involved for Baker there.
And then on top of it, four of his six
remaining games are against teams that are in the top
twelve and fantasy points allowed to tight ends.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Right now, I think you should do what I did,
and I just put George Kittle into the lineup.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
But I guess a lot of you probably don't have
that option.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
So I'm gonna go with aj Barner, who has been
very good over the last number of weeks. As you
see right there, the totals on the board are correct
at least ten plus Fantasy points in five of his
last seven games. He led the Seahawks with ten receptions
in Week eleven, setting career highs and targets and receptions
in that contest. And it's one of the guys that
Sam Darnold's really been looking for. And again, once his

(21:38):
offense starts to fully integrate, Rashid Shihet, who.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
I was talking about a moment ago. It'll actually open
it up for a J.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Barner once you can take the top off the defense,
and with Jackson Smith and Jigmit going out and drawing
a lot of coverage, there's huge opportunities for a J.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Barner, a J. Barnard actually doing some things in the
last couple of weeks. And actually, actually you actually had
a actually a J. Barner. His name is his name
is actually James Barner. Yeah, you know that's what it is.
Foia mentioned Katt and he will be on the field
on Sunday night, riding next door at Sofi Stadium against
the Rams. We dive a little bit further into that one,
and if you're looking for kind of a deep sleeper,

(22:16):
maybe look at Blake Koram. And for years we've kind
of stood on this idea that Sean McVay is a
one running back coach, and that really has been true
the last few years. But Blake Korum's starting to elbow
his way into some more opportunity over the last few weeks.
Since Week seven, a thirty three percent snapshare, forty percent
of the rushing attempts and seeing a lot of work
inside the five about forty five percent of the rushing

(22:39):
attempts when they get down near the goal line. So
Kirom Williams still the RB one here. You know, the
matchup isn't necessarily the greatest on paper, There's still some opportunity,
especially if the Rams get close, for Blake Korum to
have some touchdown upside. I'd say, look, if you're in
a fourteen team or deeper league, I'd like him as
a flex this week.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
So you like the Rams backfield, I feel a little
different about the backfield. I think you should beware of
them in this matchup against the Rams. The Rams are
just an elite run defense right third fewest Fantasy points
per game allowed to running backs, just three touchdowns all year,
and this is the game the Bucks could find themselves trailing.
I am completely trying to get away from Rashad White

(23:19):
where I have him a less very desperate. Tucker is
a little bit more option dependent. He is an explosive option,
so he only needs a run or two he still
brings upside.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
The floor is just much shakier than it was a
week ago.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
We'll see who can seize some opportunity in that Bucks backfield.
In the meantime, it is time for us to seize
the season, presented by Caesars Sports Book. According to Caesars
Sports Book, here are the most likely players to score
the first touchdown on Sunday Night football between the Bucks
and Rams. Kyraen Williams top of the list, followed by
DeVante Adams. Chances are, if he does it, it'll be

(23:52):
from around the two yard line or so Puknnakua not
too far behind him. Then you got a Mecca Abuka,
Rashad White, and Sean Tucker round it out. So if
you are picking Florio, is it one of those guys,
then they need somebody off book.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
It's the Vonte Adams who leads the NFL with eighteen
end zone targets.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
Ten of those have come though from three yards out
or closer.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
I used to accuse Aaron Rodgers of being a goal
line merchant touchdown merchant, but it's the Vonte Adams that
is actually the one.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
He leads the NFL and goal.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Line touchdowns, in fact, no one. He is twice as
much as anyone else.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Stafford also leads the NFL and goal line touchdown passes.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
So yeah, Kyen Williams will get him down the field
and Pooka will as well and then needs to They'll
score like a one yard touchdown and that'll be the
first score.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
DeVante Adams the best closer in the league. Apparently, new
users can bet one dollar to boost to their next
twenty events by one hundred percent. Must be twenty one
or older. Ce Caesars dot Com slash promos for full terms.
I'm putting the.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Ball on Lamar Jackson's hands right here, or Mark Andrews
comes up and does the push himself.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
That is Andrews under center on fourth and one, Andrews.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Spitting away and there he goes Andrews all the way touchdown.
What a call by the Ravens Patrick record leading the
way for Mark Andrews his first career rushing touchdown.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Welcome back to NFL Fantasy Live.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
If there is one thing that annoys fantasy enthusiasts when
Mark Andrews scores a touchdown, apparently, welcome back, Adam Rank.
Michael Florio taking a look at the Ravens this week.
I think they were comfortable starting Mark Andrews, but I
really like Zay Flowers in this matchup. This week, Zay
Flowers has had sixty plus receiving yards in four consecutive
games at least eleven fantasy points in each of those

(25:48):
four fixtures. The Jets have allowed nineteen plus fantasy points
to a receiver in four consecutive games. But some sad
news there, Michael f Both you and I huge fans
of Justin Fields. What do we do about the Jets'
quarterback position.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
I think Tyra Taylor is a sleeper right for deeper
those in need of a deeper quarterback option, like many
managers are this week, maybe in super flex. He's made
one start this year where he threw for two hundred
yards two touchdowns. Of what I love, he ran for
forty eight. I think he might be more efficient as
a passer than Fields. They're still run, but he's not

(26:23):
going to give you what Fields gave you with his legs.
But he could be in ketchup mode against his old team,
the Ravens.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
So again, this is just if you're going a little
bit deeper. But I do think he is a sleeper.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
This week for the jetsh a revenge game.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
For Tyrod Taylor, and of course, when the Browns and
the Raiders get together, everybody thinks of the nineteen eighty
and AFC Divisional playoff game Red Right eighty eight Brian
Sipe and the Cardiac Kids losing to the then Oakland Raiders.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
I think I don't know. I don't know whether the
Raiders were playing right there.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
But when you look at this matchup, though, you think
of the great Raiders defenses of the past.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
What are we doing here at the defense? Mike, Yeah,
They're a must start.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
I think on numerous shows this week, people have been like,
what do you think the Browns offense.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
Is going to look like?

Speaker 5 (27:05):
I had no idea.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
I do think Shador has a lot of talent, but
he hasn't had a lot of reps with the Ones
this season, and sacks have been an issue for him
dating back to his college days, and as we saw
last week, when you get pinned back a bit, it
could lead to turnovers.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
I think Matt Max has himself a day and you
start the Raiders defense.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
This week, you know I do.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
I do fear the Raiders defense, but I'm looking at
how the Browns are going to attack this and I
imagine it's going to be quin Sewn Judkins, which is
why I'm going to start him this week, mostly because
not a lot of great options out there, but he
has had close to seventy percent of the team's rushing
yards since Week twelve. Ninety percent of his rushing yards

(27:45):
have come after contact this season. That's fifth high amongst
the running backs. The Raiders have allowed the tenth most
rushing yards per game two running backs since Week seven.
So I don't necessarily love doing it, but I'm going
to be starting Quinn Sean Judkins. One of the things
I do love is professional wrestling, and Jacksonville has been
a hotbed of professional wrestling for a long time. But

(28:08):
this week, I don't know why they're going to take
on the Arizona card I don't know what. I don't
know why I'm leading with this, although I don't I
once saw royal rumble in Arizona. But let's talk about
Jags Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
I like.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
I like Jacoby Brissette.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
There it is, just read it ran Jacoby Brissette this
week as a sleeper option for those of you who
are missing out on a quarterback. He has averaged three
hundred and fourteen yards per game since Week six. The
Jags have allowed a top ten quarterback in five of
their last six games, the fifth most fantasy points per
games to quarterback this season. I just have to assume, Michael,

(28:42):
that you are starting Trevor Lawrence or am I wrong?

Speaker 5 (28:47):
I think you are wrong.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
I say I do not like Trevor Lawrence in this
one though, because in his last three games, Lawrence has
averaged just one hundred and seventy seven passing yards per
game and he has two touchdowns to three interceptions passing.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
Wise in that span.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
In fact, this year, he scored twenty or more fantasy
points twice and in both of those games he had
multiple rushing touchdowns.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
He has one rushing touchdown the rest of the season.
So those are clear outliers.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
You can't bank on it.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
And the Cardinals they've allowed to be seven fews fantasy
points two quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
But rank Trevor Lawrence in that hair. He would do
all right in the wrestling worlds.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah, he would be elite. He would be a think
I can see him rnging around with the Young Bucks
or something like that. We like Trevor Lawrence as a person,
like a good guy, great guy. But let's go down
to the Atlanta and Saints matchup. Drake London has been
ruled out for this week, so what does that mean
for the rest of the Falcons. Is there one wide
receiver we can focus in on.

Speaker 7 (29:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
I know it's been a rough year for Darnell Mooney,
but I think Drake London being out has him been
playing at the very least as a sleeper this week
against these Saints.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Because don't look now, but in.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
The last two weeks, fifteen targets for Mooney, and he
just has a history of success against the Saints in
his career.

Speaker 5 (30:04):
He went for nearly one hundred yards late last year
in his last game against him.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
He's average fourteen fantasy points per game against them in
his career.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
So again, if you're going a little bit deeper, volume
wins the day here.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Yeah, I'm looking at this matchup too, and I know
what the Falcons allowed last week to Bryce Young, and
I'm looking at Tyler Shuck as a sleeper option against
the Falcons this week. I know this is the opposite
of chasing the points. You're chasing Bryce Young's points in
this one. But one of the things that I've noticed
about Tyler is that he's getting a little bit better.
I kind of like what I see when I go

(30:36):
out there and watch him. His passing yards of in
Greece in each game he's played this season. He had
close to nineteen Fantasy points in his last start. And
again this Falcons defense, which looks so good a couple
of weeks ago, to the point last week, I was
sitting out out here dogging Bryce on being like, I'm
never starting him, never started him against the Falcons. Well,
of course that blew up on me. So Tyler Shuck

(30:57):
is somebody that, like, listen, if you're in a fourteen
team league and you need to say to start a quarterback,
if you're sitting there, if you're in a super flex league,
which I'm in a number of, Tyler Shuck is actually
a pretty decent option for you this week. But sometimes
it all comes down to the process over the results.
And here to talk about that is Marcus Grant with

(31:18):
a minute with Marcus.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Thank you, Adam. Yes, the end of the Fantasy regular
season is fast approaching, which means there are only a
few weeks left for you to either win your way
into the main playoff tournament or slide into the consolation
bracket where if you win, you lose, but if you
lose your sort of win.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
I never really figured that part out. Regardless, so far
you have trusted the process. What is that process, you ask, Well,
you are picking rosters on currently evaluated scoring success. Pretty
straightforward reason you streamed a Gino Smith in week three,

(32:03):
That's the reason you started Ricodoudel over David Montgomery in
week six. But sometimes you throw process to the wind
and simply cast your lot with the elites. The players
you drafted highly through talent and sheer individual will, they
will carry you to victory. But sometimes the defense wins.

(32:24):
Don't believe me, Just ask all the people who started
Josh Allen last night. Maybe your process is thinking outside
of the box, like a taco chain that puts chicken
strips and it's burritos. Or maybe it's speed running too
a championship with Jakobe Resetts. Wouldn't that be a story
to tell? Or maybe your process is sticking with Josh
Allen no matter what, regardless of what method got you,

(32:47):
they remained true to it through the end of the season.
And also, if you could really explain to me how
this consolation bracket thing works, I really appreciate it. That
has been a minute with Marcus Black Friday football is
back on Prime Video with a big time quarterback matchup
on a special day, Caleb Williams and the Bears take
on Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. Coverage begins next Friday

(33:09):
at one thirty pm Eastern with kickoff at three pm Eastern,
only on Prime Video.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Before we get to that, let's get some guarantees and
take it to the rink. All right, Thank you so much, Marcus. Now,
I know there were some people upset last week we
went oh and three. I'm gonna sit there, I'm gonna
own it. Listen, sometimes, if you're not in it, if
you don't have the guts to get into this financial institution,
then just back yourself right out, because we're all about
here making the big plays. This week, we're gonna get

(33:37):
back to it, and I'm gonna start off with a
big game next week, Black Friday. We will not be here, however,
it would be the Philadelphia Eagles against the Chicago Bears.
I'm gonna be talking about AJ Brown, who is playing
the Dallas Cowboys this week. I am going to say
this about Aj Brown. Look, you're winning football games. What
are you complaining about? There used to be a day

(33:58):
where winning wasn't the only was the only thing that mattered.
But now it's got to be about stats and all
this stuff. I don't care if your quarterback is boring.
I don't care if you're sitting there having things, if
winning has gone too much for you. Listen, I root
for a football team that has not won a Super
Bowl in forty years. I wish I had the kind
of problems that you had, Aj Brown. But I will

(34:20):
say this, at some point, they're going to find a
way to get you to the football. It is going
to be this week against his Dallas Cowboys defense. I
say that at some point during this game on Sunday,
Aj Brown will score a touchdown and guess what, Chunky
Beee put it in.

Speaker 7 (34:34):
The bolt because you can take it to the rank.
All right, let's talk whoa sorry about that. Let's talk revenge.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
Revenge.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
One of the biggest revenge games Christian McCaffrey going up
against his former team for the first time since that
trade a number of years ago, when the Carolina Panthers
looked at Christian McCaffrey and we're like, yeah.

Speaker 7 (34:57):
We can't use this guy. He's not going to be
any good.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
So how many remind me how many first round picks.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
Was it that they got for Oh, that's right, none,
didn't even get a first round pick for Christian McCaffrey.
This has been a guy that has gone out there
and just absolutely destroyed opposing defenses year after year for
the San Francisco forty nine Ers. Now he gets that
chance to go up against the Carolina Panthers.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Ah.

Speaker 7 (35:21):
Look, I'm gonna say this.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
One of the things that the forty nine Ers has
struggled with this season is running the football, but Christian
McCaffrey has made it up as a receiver out of
the backfield. The Carolina Panthers have allowed the most targets,
fourth most targets and yards to running backs this year.
Christian McCaffrey will have more than forty three receiving yards
this week. Put that in the ball because you can
take it to the right, All right, Raiders Browns. If

(35:49):
you go on to my Twitter machine right now, you
will see that my predicted score for this one is
a two to two tie, which is probably more than
these teams deserve. However, I will say this, Ashton gent,
Ashton Genty, it's not all your fault. First of all,
it's not your fault. You were drafted by the Las
Vegas Raiders, a team that needed a lot of different
things coming into this season, some offensive line help, some

(36:11):
defensive secondary help. But nope, they went for a luxury
pick and a lot of fantasy enthusiasts went out there too,
using a first round draft pick on Ashton Genty.

Speaker 7 (36:20):
And again, that's a luxury pick.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
You were passing up guys like Jonathan Taylor because you
wanted to go out there and get Ashton Genty and
wanted to ride the upside, and it has not worked
out for you. Listen, there's a reason why all those
casinos have so many big buildings is because of thinking
like that.

Speaker 7 (36:37):
But we can get back into.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
The red or is it the red or at the back.

Speaker 7 (36:40):
I don't know, Ken, whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
The Cleveland Browns have allowed the eighth fewest rushing yards
this season.

Speaker 7 (36:46):
They've allowed more than fifty seven rushing yards in one
of their last four games.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
So I say this week Ashton Genty will have fewer
than fifty five rushing yards. Put it in the ball
because you can take you to the right. And finally, oh,
I keep hitting the lights. It's like the kicker that
keeps hitting it whatever. Lamar Jackson going up against the
New York Jets, the New York Jets, I don't know

(37:11):
what they're doing.

Speaker 7 (37:11):
The New York Jets have looked at all their.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
Good players are like, you know what, we're gonna get
rid of all of you, especially you on the defensive
side of the football. Quinn Williams, were going to get
rid of you, Sauce Garter, We're to get rid of you. Still,
they have found a way to start to get better
over the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
They have not allowed a quarterback to run for more
than thirty four yards since Week four, and they've allowed
a career low, and they have not been really good.
But here's the thing right now, Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
Going up against going up against the Jets.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
I know that he's had a lot of success before,
but I say that he has less than thirty four
rushing yards against the Jets this week and put.

Speaker 7 (37:52):
It in the vault because you could take it to
the rank, and there it is. Take it to the
rank for a week mark thank you.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
As we take a look at what's going to come
up now, and we're gonna get a little bit zen
as we go with the flow. But first some fantasy flagos.
Some players who caught fire heading into this week. Sean
Tucker top of the list, Michael Wilson, who's had a
franchise record in receptions, and you got Trevon Henderson, Chinneth
Gingwell and George Pickens. So that leads us to our

(38:25):
own fantasy and zen master. The Buddy Satva of breakouts
and busts are on. Michael F Floyo. What's up man?

Speaker 5 (38:34):
Oh hey dude, Sorry, I didn't see you there. I
was too busy watering my foliage here. But you need
to start this week. I got you guys.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Uh, travy am my wayward sound.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
They'll be peace when you are RB one and RB
one is exactly what.

Speaker 5 (38:54):
I am expecting this week.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
Pick A metric yards per carry before or after contact,
missed ackles, forced explosive runs EPA. Treveon is ahead of
Remandre in all of them, and he gets a totally
far out matchup against the Bengals, who have allowed the
most Fantasy points per game two running backs. This groovy

(39:16):
streak that he is on started a couple of weeks
ago when he appeared.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
In this segment and it will totally continue this week. Man.

Speaker 8 (39:24):
That is why this week you should go with the flow.
And then if you guys need a wide receiver, I
got you as well.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
Look, it is a total bummer that Marvin Harrison Junior
is out, but Michael Wilson has been totally far out
in his absence. He went for a buck eighty five
last week, which coincidentally is how much it costs to
buy a house in the sixties, and he gets a
far out matchup against the Jags who are top four

(39:56):
and yards and touchdowns allowed to out wide wide receiveers.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Man, so ride the groovy train this week, and that
is why this.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
Week you should go with the flow and get him
in your line.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Thank you, Michael lef Florio. Please go back to tend
to your plants and continue in your zin garden of fantasy.
We're not done here on NFL Fantasy Live. Coming up,
Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers. We got quarterback issues, you got questions.
We're gonna dive into some of those, you know, because

(40:34):
you're just asking for friends in that sort of thing.
Stick around back on Fantasy Live and a couple of
news updates. Andy Reid told the media today that running
back Isaiah Pacheco will not play Sunday against the Colts,
but Checko, who's out with a knee injury, hasn't had
any setbacks, but it's just not ready to suit up. Meanwhile,

(40:56):
Mike Rabel said that Ramandre Stevenson is in position to
play Sunday against the Bengals. We'll have to see how
that affects people who have traveon Henderson on their rosters.
Time now for a little bit of power to the people.
We asked you for your questions via social media and
you delivered in huge numbers this week. So we'll go
around the horn, starting with you. Florio is Quentin Johnston

(41:17):
droppable at this point? Scared to start him?

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Unfortunately he's very boom or bust and if you're too
afraid to kind of take that shot.

Speaker 5 (41:25):
On him, then yeah, he might be all right.

Speaker 9 (41:28):
Next one for you rank, who do I start Baker
or Sam Ooh, I'm gonna go lest Sam Clemente Darnold.
I think that Rams defense is much tougher than a
lot of people are giving a credit.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
For Grand Slam brexfast for everyone. Next up, should I
trade Danny dimes for Purdy before the deadline. Help you
only got a few hours left, But I would say yes,
I think the long term seals a little bit higher
for Perdy in that forty nine er offense. All right,
back around to you, Florio, Can I trust the Colts
defense and my Broncos are on by the waiver?

Speaker 7 (41:58):
Is not good?

Speaker 5 (42:00):
I would know.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
Look, I don't ever want to play a defense against
Mahomes or like, there's a certain quarterbacks I don't go
stream against, and he is very much so one of them.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
All right, So find somebody on the waiver wire if
you can. I know it's not good. Is jayde Reid
a wide receiver one rank? He is not? You can
move on by. So there we go. It's been a
while since Sydon read I'm stashing him on the Iron
Oer League, and I don't really know why anyway. Time
now for Mondays fantasy headlines, we look into our crystal ball,
figure out what folks are going to be talking about

(42:30):
when the weekend is over, Florio, what you got?

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Look, JJ McCarthy goes by nine, but I think he's
too mid for that nickname.

Speaker 5 (42:37):
So this week's headline is going to be nine, more
like six seven.

Speaker 7 (42:42):
No, no, no, no, you do not have children.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
You're not not a part of this.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Get out of the six seven game, Frank, what's your
headline ownership change? In Chicago, Caleb Williams takes deed to
Soldier Field from Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
That's probably a big headline.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
That's a big that's that's the subhaed base is what
it is for me. We stay in the division Detroit
Rock City. The Lions are back at home at Ford Field,
and I think they cruise against the Lions.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
All right, gotta do it for us, yes, Reports in
