Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a Fantasy Live edition of the Fantasy Football Podcast.
I'm Marcus Grant, joined by Michael f Florio and Adam
Rank will break down what we learned from Thursday nights
forty nine ers win over the Rams, plus fantasy replacements
for Bucky Irving managers and who to start and who
to sit for We five in the NFL Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
That think Friday.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Everybody, Welcome to another edition of NFL Fantasy. I'm Marcus Grant,
that's Adam Rank, that is Michael f Florio. And look,
we know these chances are you ran into Pooka Nakua
or Kylie Williams. Did anybody run into the Kendrick.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Bourne buzzsaut last year? That would be that I might
quit sant.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
There are are we playing some deeper leagues where people
have probably contemplated it. But thankfully I did not face
any Kendrick because that would have been the end of it.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Any any I don't know Mac Jones buzz sauce for you, Florio.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Potentially I contemplated in the King's Classic fourteen teen league,
I contemplated Kendrick Bourne and didn't do it, which is
almost worse than running into him. But Korean in our
Fantasy Live league has SEMC and Puka.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
So I'll see you guys next week.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
All right, Well, at least you know who week has
already done. You can move on to week six. So
the Niners takeover soul possession for the moment of first
place in the NFC West. But there's some other things
that we learned, maybe from more of a general perspective.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Right, what did you take away?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Well, number one, you talked about Levi South fifty percent
forty nine Er fans, fifty percent RAM fans, one hundred
percent Dodger fans, so we have that going for us.
I also learned that I'm a genius. You know what,
if there is a forty nine Ers fan who is
on this list man who didn't take the forty nine
that mighty chagrined, that would be rough rank of all people.

(01:46):
There are so many forty nine er fans who have
kept a clip of me from twenty eighteen taking the
forty nine Ers to finish in last place, who will
still bring it up like it's still on their phone.
Do they have family photos? They don't, they have that
from they have that photo, and uh, but I was
the one the loan, give me the satchel like Alan

(02:07):
from I was the lone wolf.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Jone's carried one.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Yeah, all right, Ratchel.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Look, I was being yes, yeah, I was just trying
to be rational, not a fan.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I didn't say anything mean or nice about the forty
nine ers this week, but I'll talk up the Rams.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
Right.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Pooka Nakula is the best player in fantasy football. If
we were drafting today, he is the one dot one.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
His low game on the year is.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Twenty three fantasy points. He is averaging twenty seven per game.
He was the only player through the first four weeks
with over one hundred fantasy points, and he went off
last night as well.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
So yeah, I don't there's nothing here.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Besides, if you have Pooka, hold him very tight, because
everyone else in your league wishes they had pokin Nakula.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
It was funny because I drafted Pookinakoa in a league
in August.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
People like, good luck with that?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
All right, good luck.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Look, at some point you want to start targeting the
weak spots when making your starts in sense, and part
of it is you can start your tight ends against
the Rams. By the way, I'm gonna take a little
bit of a humble brag here on the Jake Tong
just seventeen point outing there had the touchdown, a lot
of talk, a lot of targets, a lot of catches
from Tan just but you look over the last couple
of games, Rams have given up a tight end a

(03:19):
touchdown to tight ends in three straight games, four different
tight ends. I have had at least four catches in
a game against the Rams.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
So if you're looking, they got a stream the position,
you know, look for a tight.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
End that's playing the Rams coming up in upcoming weeks.
So anyway, let's shift our focus more narrowly back to
that game last night and mostly to some guys in
the backfield, and Christian McCaffrey Florio got a whole lot
of opportunity. That wasn't really a surprise with the Niners
being shorthanded. But you're saying, maybe the clock is ticking
on having CMC on your roster.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Yeah, Christian McCaffrey is amazing, We know that.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
But we all know what the negative side of having
Christian McCaffrey is is that there's a length the injury
history there. But the thing is he coming into week
five had the most touches of any player twenty nine
years or older, and at through four games in NFL history,
no one else.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Had ever had that many touches.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
And then on a short week ninety percent of the
snaps thirty touches. He's averaging twenty six touches per game.
He's got one hundred and thirty through five games.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
Like that is a lot of volume.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
So you could still go out and get the moon
for him right now, I think it's not a bad
idea to try to flip him and get maybe a
pooka if you can, or whatever you could get.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
You could get a big.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Return for CMC still giving all the volume he's handled
so far.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
I don't think that's a bad idea.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
And then there's guys like Kyen Williams. And I was
getting questions on the social media accounts over the last
couple of days and people like, hey, what do.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
We do with Kyen Williams in this game? I'm like
start them.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
They're like, well, what if the Rams get up to
a forty point lead? Should I be looking at Blake
Karmel like, don't ever do this. I think that at
too too often we get to a p in fantasy
where we're over analyzing these things, where we want to
sit here, we want to look like the smartest person
in the room, instead of just going out and being
smart about this. Like Kyron Williams was a running back

(05:12):
that you drafted in the first two rounds. You start
them like you don't worry about any of that other stuff.
You don't worry about trying to be too cute, trying
to get too smart. You're not out smarting anybody. The
only person you're going out smart is yourself. Make sure
you're playing players like Kyron Williams. Sorry that I have
to say that it's weird.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Just start your good players. That's our advice to you
right here. And I meantime, let's go from La to London.
Shall we to quote Dennis Farina, Fish and Chips, cup
of tea, Mary Poppins, you know, London. We're gonna take
a deep dive into this game coming up at first,
letting you know. Sunday Morning Football continues in London, presented
by net app Justin Jefferson and the Vikings against Miles
Garrett and the Brown Sunday nine to thirty a m.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Eas.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
So you can see that game on NFL Network and
on NFL Plus.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Subscription required for NFL Plus.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
But as we take a look at this Brown's Vikings matchup,
who are you keeping an eye.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
On for this one?

Speaker 3 (06:01):
I think Jordan Mason is going to be a very
interesting one this week. Free Masonry is something that is
one of the largest charitable organizations in England, but here
we might want to beware because the Cleveland Browns have
been absolutely devastating against running backs this season. Well maybe
not Jamiir Gibbs, but other running backs this season. They
have really shut down. The running backs that they've allowed

(06:23):
are the guys who catch their ball out of the backfield.
And what we've seen is that Jordan Mason is still
not getting a large share of that role. Last week
that went to what's his name? Kind of why am
I spacing on the dudes? Xavier Scott? Sorry good, Xavier
Scott was getting a lot of the targets out of
the backfield. So for me, with Jordan Mason, a player
that I've really liked over the last couple of weeks,

(06:44):
I have a lot of shares of Jordan Mason a
lot of teams. I'm not starting them because I you know,
I have better players, but ones, the ones where I
do have to start them, I don't feel great about it.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Yeah, I have Jordan Mason as a sit this week,
but really citing, I have the defenses in this game
as a start. What's more exciting than fantasy defenses but
the Browns. They were struggling offensively with Joe Flacco. Now
it is a third round rookie in his first NFL
start overseas against a blitz heavy Brian Flores defense that

(07:15):
has given a lot of veteran QBS issues this season,
and the Vikings sail out sacks at the highest rate
in the NFL this year, giving up at least three
per game. I think it was six times. Last week
Carson Wentz was sacked. So in what could be more
of a defensive battle, a lower scoring game potentially, I
think both the Vikings and Browns defenses are in play

(07:36):
this week.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Well, a lot of those things you said about Brian
Flores's defense and attacking a rookie quarterbacker, why I think
Harold Fannin could be a sleeper. I mean, he's been
a guy that's been productive pretty much all year long.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
It's going to be a lower passing volume here for
the Browns. This week, he.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Had Joe Flacco thrown about forty times a game. I
don't think that's what Kevin Stefanski's going to want from
Dylan Gabriel in his first ever start. But you got
Harold Fannin running most of his rounds out of the slot,
and that has kind of been a weak point for
this Vikings defense this season.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Six to most yards.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Allowed to slot pass catchers coming into the week. So
I think if you're dying, Gabriel and you want to
get the ball out quickly, why not look for number
forty four in the middle part of the field. So
gonna keep it going. We got the Bengals and the
Lions in Florida.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's been kind of all bad for Cinci so far.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Yeah, it's all bad, and it's all because of that
offensive line in front of him, which is why I
think you can get away from Chase Brown this week.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
He is yet to run.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
For fifty yards in a game this season. On average,
he is getting hit nearly a full yard behind the
line of scrimmage. So it's not his fault, right, It's
on the offensive line, But that doesn't matter in fantasy.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
They're tough. It's a tough matchup two against the run.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
In some leagues I played Woody Marks over him, and
someonem playing Treveon Henderson over him. It shows us how
far down Chase Brown has already fallen. I think if
you're starting him, you're just hoping for catches when the
Bengals are in catch up mode, and I don't really
want to live my fantasy life that way.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
At this point, we've just all decided, we've all agreed
we are targeting the Bengals. We're starting all of our
guys against the Bengals, and so that means Jared Goff
has sleeper vibes. I get it. He's been sort of
this year. He's had the one big game this season,
but other than that hadn't been particularly great. But this
is one of the worst defenses in the league. I
do think you're going to see them running the ball
all out. I think both Jamior Gibbs and David Montgomery

(09:27):
have big games. But I do think this is another
one of those big opportunities for Golf.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
It feels kind of like a.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Name your score game for the Lions, so you see
golf getting it out to I'm on rad Jamison Williams
and maybe even Tesla.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Making a catch like that.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
So if you got Jared goff Thisee was like a
good week to get him in your lineup. Keeping it
here back to Los Angeles for the Commanders and the Chargers.
Good news, by the way, for the Washington Commanders, Jayden
Daniels is going to play. That being said, I have
concerns about one Deebo Samuel. He's been a really nice
pickup for the Commanders and we've seen him step up,

(10:01):
especially in the absence of Terry McLaurin, who isn't going
to play this week. But this is not a great
matchup for wide receivers. Chargers the fourth toughest matchup for
the position. Just one touchdown allowed to wide outs all year.
They aren't giving debos some occasional carries, but it hasn't
really been enough to make a dentt or make you
feel great about his fantasy opportunities. Plus not a downfield threat,

(10:21):
an average depth of target of less than six yards,
which means he's gonna need a lot of targets or
have to pick up some chunk plays to put up
a big fantasy number. And it just doesn't really feel likely.
I guess what has been a very good Charger defense
so far this year.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
You know, I'm gonna go with Ladd mcconkee here in
this one. I know it's been very disappointing. A lot
of us used a second round draft pick on him
this season and it is.

Speaker 6 (10:45):
Not worked out.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
And unfortunately, we've watched guys like Quinton Johnson Keenan Allen
go out there and thrive on this pass happy Chargers offense,
while Lad McConkie has not really had the production even
though he is getting targets.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
But I'm dis expecting the talent to eventually win out.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
If you look at the situation right now, he's running
from the slot on over sixty.

Speaker 6 (11:04):
Percent of his snaps.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
The Commanders have allowed the most yards and targets to
the slot this season. I think this is a real
good opportunity for Lad mccakey to go out there and
re establish himself is one of the better wide receivers
in fantasy football.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I'm waiting for the Lad breakout game. I mean, everybody
else has had one. Let's get one for LAD two. Meanwhile,
one of the big games, certainly on paper this week,
it is the Broncos at the Eagles and rank what
he got in this one.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
You know, I'm going to say beware of AJ Brown.
I know for a lot of us it's not going
to be practical. But I think if in a lot
of two wide receiver leagues, For instance, I have Pukinaku
who I started last night, AJ Brown was my second
receiver who I've put on the.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Bench for a Mecca Abuka you could slide.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I probably have to play him in the slot because
Roma Dunze would be my typical slot option because we
only start two wide receivers. But there's something about this
thing that really bugs me. AJ Brown's had over eight
Fantasy points in one of four games this year, and
that was a game where they fell behind early to
the La Rams. And then you go out there and
you listen to women in the locker room complaining talking
about all that stuff, which is great. Like if you

(12:08):
weren't four to oh, like, what do you you want
to go down to Miami. I'm sure they will take
you in Miami and you can go play for that
team and have fifteen targets.

Speaker 6 (12:16):
A game and not win.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
What is really the what is really your point of
emphasis here with AJ Brown.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
That kind of stuff rubs me the wrong way, and I.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Know it shouldn't view or hurt my fantasy interpretation of that,
but I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Marcus all right, Sam.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
All right, I like it cause I think we are
going to see the Eagles come out and try to
make their wide receiver one happy.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
We had Cameron Wolf on an NFL Fantasy Plus extra
something like that. It's on NFL Plus.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
You can go watch it, and he said he wouldn't
be surprised at the first like five plus plays were
designed throws for AJ Brown, And I think that's what
we're going to get this week, a squeaky wheel game.
Plus last week was rough, I'm not denying that, but
he had a forty percent target share in seventy five
percent of the area went his way. You give Jalen
Hurts and AJ Brown that combination that we've seen have

(13:04):
success so many times before, that kind of volume, and
I think good days are.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Going to come.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
You know, I would just hope Nick Sirianne wouldn't play
into this game. You're super Bowl champions, you're four and zero,
and you're sitting here complaining like that's the kind of
stuff that would end up on my bench now as
a professional coach and not somebody who would be rewarded.
But you could very well be right and they could
just feed them the wall.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
As somebody who drafted AJ Brown I vote for and
I got him Brown. Ashton Gense goes back to his
original stance in the backfield from Boise State and looks
like the Boise State version of Ashton gen C. But
the Raiders have a tough one coming up this week
against the Indianapolis Colts and rank which one are you?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Which way are you going on this one? Do they?

Speaker 3 (13:47):
I think this is another good opportunity for Ashton Jenny.
He was perfect last week ashion Genty went out there,
scored three touchdowns, Bears won My fantasy team wins the
Bears way, and it was perfect. But going up against
the Colts this week, they've allowed a lot of productions
to running backs. As season, they've allowed the tenth most
rushing yards per game and they're very vulnerable anytime they
get near the end zone in the red area. They've

(14:10):
allowed a touchdown on close to ninety percent of drives.
So ash and gentis an absolute must start this week.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yeah, last week was unfortunate for those who do the
opposite of what stardom Sidham tells you to do, and
that means this week you're gonna be sitting Daniel Jones.
I think with Daniel Jones, the key is to play
him in weeks when he is not going to be
under pressure at a high rate. The Rams got to
him last week. It was his worst Fantasy game of
this season. But now the Raiders, they have generated pressure

(14:38):
at the sixth lowest rate in the NFL, and Jones
this year has the fifth best success rate when not
under pressure. So I think he will have time in
this one, and he will get the ball to Michael
Pittman Junior and Tyler Warren and all his pass catchers
there in Indianapolis.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
All right, Indians and Jones ready to ride again against
the Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
I can speak per Michael F.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Florio, But that gets us to our next gen nugget
with our researcher Kendall Mrsky aka next gen kN And
so we heard Rank and Florio talk about Ashton gent
and Daniel Jones, But there's another guy in this game
that you are particularly interested in.

Speaker 7 (15:16):
Yeah, I want to focus on Michael Pittman Junior this
week against the Raiders, and the Raiders have allowed the
fourth most receiving yards per game to the position, and specifically,
a lot of that damage has actually come from pass
catchers on the perimeter so far this season.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
So specifically we see.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
The Raiders are bottom five and receiving yards per game,
yards per target, and fantasy points per game allowed to
players lined up out wide. Now, the Colts like to
move Pittman around a little bit, but over sixty percent
of his routes are run from a wide alignment this season,
and Pittman's thirty one percent target rate en routes from
the perimeter ranks third highest in the NFL. Additionally, he

(15:54):
has the eighth highest catch ray over expectation for those targets,
and the Raiders use zone coverage at the second highest
rate this season. Pittman has the highest target rate among
Colts wide receivers versus zone. Now, Pittman did pop up
on the injury report this week, but if he isn't
good to go, I do think some of this information
does translate towards Alec pearcer Ad and I Mitchell for

(16:17):
a DFS play. But if he is good to go.
Pittman's got to be in your starting lineup this week.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Very much like Michael Pittman.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Also like the fact that the Colts passing game kind
of funneled through two guys. It's Pittman, It's Tyler Warren
and that's pretty much it here so great where Ken
certainly appreciate that. Anyways, get back to our game previews,
the team from Big d heading up to the Big
Apple to take on the Jets, and I think this
is a game where, if you weren't already, you're starting
Breeze Hall here. I know people have been concerned about it.

(16:45):
I know you've been on the Breeze Hall train this
whole time.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
And look, I.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Wllmit I was sort of a late adopter, but I'm
here for Breeze Hall. Look, first of all Cowboys, they
are twentieth against the run. They've given up six rushing
touchdowns that is the third most in the league, been
the sixth best matchup for fantasy running backs this season.
Braylan Allen now on injured reserve, so that could mean
some more snaps, some more touches for Breese Hall, second

(17:11):
on the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards, which
means he is not dependent on game script. In a
week where I think the Jets offense can prosper, Breeze
Hall absolutely should be a starter for you, And I'm
gonna say that you must start justin Fields.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
When you look at the numbers against the Dallas Cowboys,
they've allowed the six most rushing yards the quarterbacks this season.
None of that matters until you face Justin Fields because
I really don't care what the matchup is. He will
go out there and he will get his yards on
the ground. One of the things I would love to
see the Jets do more is opening up the passing game.
He can throw the ball down the field. That was

(17:46):
his thing coming out of college from Ohio State was
the ability to throw the ball down the field. Now
I like that Tanner Ankstram has done some designed runs.
We've seen him do that very effectively. But if they
can never get into a situation where he starts popping
the ball down the field just like this, I Justin
Fields takes off and has another great game.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Absolutely love to see him get his Buckeye. Buddy Garrett
Wilson more involved as well. Sunday Night Football spells AFC
East Showdown. I mean that's it's spelled differently, you know
how it is, how we come back our game previous
continue with Patriots and Bills.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Stick around for that.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
The NFL's International Series continues Sunday with the first of
three straight weeks of American football in the UK, as
the Vikings face the Cleveland Browns and Dylan Gabriel's first
pro start. Sunday Morning Football presented by net App Vikings
Browns Sunday at nine thirty am Eastern only on NFL Network,
also streaming on NFL Plus. Subscription required for NFL Plus

(18:43):
visit plus dot NFL dot com for terms. So now
that you know about that, and there's some other things
that should grab your attention what we like to call
if you know, you know, we will start in Tampa.
Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has announced that Bucky Irving
has been ruled out for this week's contest again the
Seahawks due to a foot injury. Look for Rashad White
and Sean Tucker to divvy up those touches and staying

(19:07):
in the NFC South Chewba Hubbard, who hasn't practiced this week,
due to a calf injury. Has been officially ruled out
for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. It appears that Ricodoudell
will phill Hubbard's role this week in Carolina. So rank
a lot of fantasy managers finding themselves in a tough
spot after hearing about these injury updates. In that situation,

(19:27):
do they focus on maybe the team's backup running back
or do they look somewhere else for help.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Yeah, when you look at somebody like Rashad White, I
think you can feel comfortable starting him. I do believe
that a lot of times in these situations that they
just continue their role and somebody else like Sean Tucker
will come in and fulfill the will fulfill the Bucky
Irving role. However, we have seen Rashad White do just
about everything for the for the Buccaneers, going back to
the last season before Bucky Irving took over his role

(19:54):
in the backfield, Rashad White was kind of their dude.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
And I think that they have faith in him.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
They do have confidence in him, So instead of picking
up somebody from the waiver wire, I'm more likely to
go with Rashad White in this instance. Although at the
same time, we need to start looking. It's some of
the guys that we can stash in our lineups, guys
like Brishard Smith, Jaden Blue, some of these other guys
who are out there who could eventually end up having
bigger roles in offenses as opposed to scrambling.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Right now, I completely agree with adding Jaden Blue and stuff.
I looked on all of my waiver wires today about
see if Rico Dado was there.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
It is a fantastic matchup. The Dolphins have.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Allowed the eighth most yards to running backs, They've given
up explosive runs at the fifth highest rate, and they're
at the top four in receiving yards to running backs.
So even if the Panthers are trailing, Rico Dado, we
know can win in the passing game. We saw him
handle the backfield all year last year in Dallas, so
I do think Rico is someone you could start, even
though my alter ego kind.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
Of hates Rico. But if you want a deep sleeper
here as well.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Trevor Etn, brother of Travis, is now the RB two
and he is a very explosive run.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Just a reminder that you can have too many running
backs because they tend to get injured a really, really
high rate. I'm getting back two our week five game previews.
We got the Giants and the Saints in this one,
and Rank you've gone, You've gone to the Darts side.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
I have.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Well, it's a revenge game for Jackson Darty if he
didn't listen to his press conference earlier this week, he's
upset at the Saints for not drafting him. This is
his chip on a show. We're getting out of control
now with he like, yeah, these guys they didn't What
is he gonna do when when he plays the Commanders, Like,
I can't believe they didn't trade Jaden Daniels and trade

(21:35):
and start me. But I do like the I do
like the way that Jackson Dart played in the week
in the in his first start in the NFL going
up against the Chargers. Like a lot of people like,
why are you starting against the Chargers? He was pretty good.
This is it's the NFL. You gotta go out there
and you got to make your starts. I like the
designed runs. I like the chemistry he has with Wandelle Robinson.
I like Jackson Darta as a sleeper this week.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Yeah, I have Jackson Dart as they start this week
because of what he does with his legs, and the
same thing could be said for Cam Scataboo, who has
scored thirteen or more Fantasy points in three straight games.
In that span, he is third in the NFL in
red zone carries and only Josh Jacobs has more goal
line looks. He's getting a ton of volume and he

(22:18):
gamescript does not matter with him because we've already seen
when they're playing with the lead, they will feed him
carries and when they.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Are trailing, they will feed him targets.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
So it is a win win for Fantasy, especially this
week because the Saints they struggle against running backs on
the ground and through the air. So whichever way it looks,
it's good things.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
For Cam scattab camp scatta boom. I think we should
be calling him. I like that a whole lot.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
I never wonder what Michael Leflorio has in common with
Carrie Underwood. They'll both be waiting all day for Sunday
Night Patriots and Bills on Sunday Night Football and Florida.
I'm gonna ask for your blessing on this. I like
Keon Coleman as a sleeper in this game for the
Buffalo Bills. Like Halslasca, you know next gen Ken, he's
also a Bills fan. I get it, Josh Allen spreading

(23:01):
the ball around. There's no one guy that's being fed
a ton of targets. But Keon Coleman does lead the
team with targets this season. He leads the team in
air yards as well. Going against a new England team
which will give up some chunk plays through the air.
You look at explosive plays allowed by defenses, only Washington
and Pittsburgh have allowed more so far this season. So

(23:24):
if Josh Allen decides he wants to challenge downfield, and
why wouldn't he in this big division rivalry game, I
think Keon Coleman has a chance to really make some
big plays here.

Speaker 6 (23:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
I have a few lineups with Keon Coleman in it
this week. I have even more with Traveon Henderson, and
I think both him and Ramadre Stevenson are in play
this week. Stevenson continues to be the lead back there,
but we saw Henderson more utilized last week, including being
used in the red zone.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
But it's all about the matchup right the Bills.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
They've allowed the eighth most rushing yards to running backs,
and they allow explosive runs at by far the highest
rate in the NFL. And I know I'm not the
only Bills fan down here in southern California. I will
be with Stevie Johnson in Newport Beach at Cruisers Sunday
night watching the game.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
If anyone wants to come join.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Us, shout out to Bay Area high school football legend
Stevie Johnson from Vacaville for sure. Anyway that gets us
to seize the season presented by Caesar Sports Book. Now
we dive further into that Sunday night game, and according
to Caesar Sports Book, here are the most likely players
to score the first touchdown during this week's matchup between
the Patriots and the Bills. James Cook not a big surprise,

(24:29):
he has the best odds there, followed by Josh Allen,
I got Tian Coleman, Khalil Shakir, and Dalton kinkaid Ooh
no Patriots on that list, So, Floria, of those guys
or maybe somebody off menu, who do you think has
the best shot to score the first touchdown?

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Yeah, you can't call me a homer.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
When the menu is all Bills, right, and I'm gonna
go with Josh Allen here though, because the Bills are
breaking out their all white rivalry jerseys this weekend. They're
advertising it as a snow game, even though it's gonna
be eighty degrees, So better way to start than with
a Buffalo snow plow. And right now in the NFL,
no quarterback has more goal on looks than Josh Allen

(25:08):
and that's including the fact that the couple games after
his nose injury he wasn't really running, but we saw
him start to use his legs more again last week.
I think he has a big game on Sunday Night Football,
and I think it starts with him lower in his
shoulder and plowing his way.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Into the end zone.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
You know all the rivalry jerseys, they they're just the
same jerseys, but in white or black. That was the
season presented by Caesar Sportsbook. New users can bet one
dollar to boost their next twenty bets by one hundred percent.
Must be twenty one or older. See Caesars dot com
slash promos.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
For full terms.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Coming up, The Bucks and the Seahawks face off, and
imagine if two quarterbacks who prove there are second acts
in American football. Line We'll see what we have going
on in this matchup. Coming up after the break, the
Bucks take their aerial show on the road to Seattle
where they will take on the Seahawks and the rank

(25:59):
we love double e all year.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
I imagine that doesn't change this. It does not change
at all. Last week there might have been a little
apprehension not knowing what his role was going to look
like playing without Mike Evans, but you absolutely started Mecca Abuka.
And really to the point too, I know a lot
of people. I've seen the lineup, so I've seen you
guys reach out to me. We were talking about AJ
Brown earlier, like these instances where you were in two
wide receiver leagues where you've not been able to play

(26:21):
a Mecca Abuga because you've used a high draft pick
on somebody like AJ Brown or somebody like that. He
needs to be in your lineup. There is no way
that you can leave him on the bench. He is
the number one wide receiver for a prolific passing offense
for receiving touchdowns this season, tied for the.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Third most in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
He has at least five receptions of more than twenty
five yards, including that touchdown we just saw here coming
back from the break.

Speaker 6 (26:43):
You have to start a Mecca Abuka.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah, I stopped including him in stardom Sidham because it's
just like he's a must start play right now. But
I'm going to go here with a deep sleeper of
Elijah Arroyo. Last week, my deep sleeper on the show
was Woody Marx, and last week we saw Royo. He
was the second leading receiver for the Seahawks and the Bucks.
They have allowed production two tight ends when teams are

(27:06):
actually targeting that position.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
So even if you don't.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
Want to start Elijah Arroyo, if you've been weak at
tight end, you're streaming week to week. I think he
is a good end of your bench stash, just to
see if he hits moving forward.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
All right, stay in the NFC West, heading down Arizona
where the Cardinals hosting the Titans.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
And can I get I get spicy about this.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
No, Arizona, there's no spice in Arizona.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Well, Ales, have you been there?

Speaker 6 (27:32):
Ran Like Arizona has no spice the border state. It
is the craziest thing.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
I want to tell you.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
To start the Cardinals defense which probably isn't that spicy
considering the Titans offense is bad. I mean it's bad
when when even cam Ward is saying in you know,
terms I can't necessarily say on the show about bad
it is. We're gonna keep it a buck about that
other it's the Cardinals defense. I don't know if it's
a great defense, if it's a great fantasy defense, but
they have had some really good matchups that they've taken

(27:58):
advantage of. Early in the Sea. He's in this Titans
offense last in passing yards and total points scored. So
if you are looking to stream defenses, look, perhaps you're
worried about the Ravens. Perhaps you decided to not start
the Rams last night. The Cardinals could be the answer
for you this week and for.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
Anybody asking about the running back position. A Mari de
Marcado is an absolute start for me. I think that
when he goes out there and gets an opportunity, he's
shown that he can be very productive. He's at least
twelve Fantasy points per game in any contest where he's
had at least six touches. I believe he will be
getting the ball now. Obviously, the Cardinals will work in
some other guys. He's not going to be a solo back.

(28:35):
He's not going to be He's not going to be
out there like Larry Centers back in the day getting
every single touch. However, he is going to get enough touches,
especially against his Titans defense. They've allowed a top six
running back in each of the last two weeks.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
You gotta start. De Marcato didn't think Larry Sinners was
going to make it at the show. You wanted Adrian Morell.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
While we're at it, Adrian Morell was the almost Emitt Smith. Yeah, yeah,
the most prolific Cardinals.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
His is Emmett Smith. Sorry to gain al Tinsley.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
It's like, it's like, how Jimmy Johnson. Sorry another one? Well,
there you go.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Let's go to Carolina and Miami, the Dolphins visiting the
Panthers there and Florio go to the blast from the past.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
That a guy you're looking at this week.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Yeah, if you want spice, this take is maybe as
spicy as your guys review of the Life of.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
A show Girl.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
I think Darren Waller is a start this week.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
He had two touchdowns, seventeenth Fantasy points, and he finished
as the tight end four, and I think his snaps
and routes are going to increase as the games go
on and he gets more acclimated into the system. I
believe we saw last week he is the go to
guy in the red and end zone for this Miami
Dolphins team.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
There's a lot of targets up for grab now.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Without Tyreek, He's gonna play some tight ends, some out wide,
and the Panthers they've allowed the most yards to tight end.
So I like Darren Waller and Swifties. These guys said it,
not me.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Hey, look, she just wanted to write about her favorite
tight end. What can I say? I'm telling you you're
starting Jayleen Waddle. And look, before the injury to Tyreek Hill,
it was sort of dicey. But with Tyreek Hill obviously
gone for the rest of the season, Jalen.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
Waddle is the next man up now.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Curious to see if they try to use him as
a downfield threat similar to Hill. I don't know if
that's going to happen, but I think the target share
goes up for sure. The Panthers on paper look like
a tough matchup. They haven't given up a ton of
fantasy points to wide receivers, but I think some of
that is just because teams have run the ball so
well on them this year. This becomes a very narrowly
funneled passing game, I think between.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Waddle and Darren Waller.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
So if you've been on the fins about starting Jayalen Waddle,
this feels like a week you can get him into
your lineup.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Go on to Baltimore and Houston.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
I know it's been a rough go for the Ravens
so far this season, but fantasy wise, rank what are
you looking at?

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Well, I'm gonna go it's Woody Marx in this one.
And a lot of people have been coming out and
they've been asking me about Woody Marx on the Twitter there,
and I've blocked every single one of them. You know why,
because I told you this in August, what Woody Marks
was gonna end up being the guy You go.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
Go, Rik, You do this all the time. You always
go out there, you pick these rookies.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
And they never worked.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
They never work out. Bucky Irving didn't work out for
you last year. Listen, sometimes you got to have a
little forward thinking. So for those of you who've been
on board with Windy Warks over the last couple of months.

Speaker 6 (31:17):
Get him into your lineup.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
The Ravens have allowed a lot of production to the
running back position. I think that it's difficult. It's one
of those things that you can't It's like watching one
of your favorite series become office, like watching Dexter and
you're like, you know what I should have I should
have just bailed after the Trinity Killer. That should have
been the end of the series. That's the way the
Ravens are like. They're like the post Trinity Killer of

(31:40):
NFL defenses right now.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
So they're awful, got it?

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Which is why I have Woody marks on a ton
of lineups this week, and I think CJ.

Speaker 5 (31:47):
Stroud is a sleeper in this one. He is coming
off right there eighteen point four fantasy points.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
That is his best fantasy game since Week six of
last season. And the Ravens, like rank was saying, their
top four and passyards, touchdowns, and fantasy points per game
allowed to quarterbacks. But what I think is most importantly
here in this matchup, they have generated sacks at the
second lowest rate.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
And we know pressure has been an issue for CJ.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Stroud because his word's not mine, he is losing his
athleticism already at twenty three years old, so you don't
have to worry that much about that. This week, I
think CJ. Stroud is in play if you've been streaming quarterbacks.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
By the way, an update on the Baltimore side of things.
We are still waiting for official word on Lamar Jackson's
status for this week, whether he will be available for
Baltimore or if it will be Cooper Rush who.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Gets to start for the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Terms and conditions apply. All right, turn out to take
it to the Rank?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
All right, Thank you so much, Marcus. Yes, it is
the season debut, the return of taking to the Rank.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
We ran in dress rehearsal a couple of times.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
It didn't make the actual show on Fridays, but now
it is finally back and we're taking it to the
rank and we're going to go down and start with
the Arizona Cardinals. Finding passing yardage in Arizona is like
finding a good Mexican spot in Arizona. It just doesn't happen.
But Kylin Murray has been pretty decent this year. He's
had seven hundred and forty two passing yards on the year.
The expectations of prison, he started to get a little

(33:36):
bit of a connection with Marvin Harrison.

Speaker 6 (33:37):
We feel that's good.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
But he's had.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
Fewer than two hundred and twenty passing yards in every
game this season. And when you look at games where
the Arizona Cardinals have won by more than six points,
he has averaged less than two hundred and twenty passing
yards in those contests. And as cam Ward said, if
he was keeping it a buck, his team's not very good.

Speaker 6 (33:58):
We expect the Cardinals to win this one.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
I expect Kyler Murray to have less than two hundred
and twenty five passing yards this week.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
And you can take you to the rank.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
A lot of you talk about Kendall doesn't believe that
Josh Allen has a number one receiver in Buffalo. He
doesn't have. Kenna was trying to fight me on this
He's like, I never said that, but I believe it's true.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
That's fine.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
I think Ken Coleman has been doing very well for
the Buffalo Bills this season. He leads the team in targets, yards, routes,
all that good stuff. I think he's gonna get a
really good opportunity. We have seen some explosiveness out of
Keon Coleman. We've expected him to step up in the past,
and let's look at the last time he played to
the New England Patriots. Ten targets in that game. It's

(34:39):
gonna be an easy recommendation for you this week. Keon
Coleman is going to have a monster game. As a
matter of fact, I believe he has more than thirty
six passing yards and you can take it to the rank.
Daniel Jones has been great for the Colts this season.
Hearkening back to another Jones who is an MVP, Burt
Jones of the then Baltimore Colts back in seventy five
seventy six. One of those like you like you know,

(35:01):
you don't even you've never heard of Burke Jones, but listen,
he's average close to two hundred and seventy passing yards
this season. He's even better at home, where that number
balloons up to more than two hundred and ninety passing yards. So,
looking at this matchup this week against the Las Vegas Raiders,
who've given up a lot of production to opposing quarterbacks,
especially when they run Cover three, Daniel Jones has destroyed

(35:24):
Cover three. So I say, Daniel Jones goes for more
than two hundred twenty seven passing.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
Yards and you can take it to the rank.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
All right, let's move on.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Finally, the Miami Dolphins are looking for somebody who can
run the football.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
Devon Chan has been that guy. He has been very
good for him.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
However, he has not had a lot of rushing touchdowns
this season. In fact, of his three touchdowns, only one
has been on the ground. The Carolina Panthers in this game,
they have not allowed a running back to have a
receiving touchdown. They've been very good at keeping running backs
out of the end zone. However, with everything that happened
with losing Tyreek Hill, I believe that there's a bigger

(36:01):
emphasis on Devon Chan this week. So I'm going to
say that Devon A Chan and this could happen at
any time. Devon A chan is going to go out
there and score a touchdown.

Speaker 6 (36:10):
And you can take it to the rank. And there
it was this week's take it to the rank.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
Thank you so much for those of you who wrote
in and said we need take it to the.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
Rank back on Mondays. We appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Marcus take it away. I will.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
But it's Friday, which means we should bring it down
a little bit. We're gonna go with the flow with
our own chakras. Master of Fantasy, Michael f Florio. So look,
we're talking about some runners, some running backs.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
What sort of karma can they possibly bring us this week?

Speaker 4 (36:41):
That's groovy, man. I believe in karma as well. And
I think you know us hippies, we love trees and
sometimes I like to go out into nature and.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Be one the trees. And this week they told.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
Me to go with the flow and play one of
their own woody marks. The trees told me that he
was the lead back last week he could catch passes
out of the backfield, and that more than anything, the
Ravens are a groovy, great matchup, which is totally far
out man.

Speaker 5 (37:14):
The one negative is sometimes they leave a little bit
of Ashton Genty should be.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
In your starting lineups this week because the Colts they
are top seven and yards before contact allowed, which is
totally groovy.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
Man.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
And you think a guy who mimics Michael Myers will
disappoint you in spooky season, No way, man.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
All right, I feel clear now, Thank you zen Master.
There you go. Some tips for your running back spot.

you at home to send us your fantasy questions for
the week, so we'll try to knock some of them out.
So let's get the ball wrong forty five seconds on
the clock, and U, Floria, I.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Think this one is for you.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Start Woody Marks or Darren Waller at the flex.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
I just did a whole thing on Woody Marks. So
thank you for reading it because I can't see anything
right now, but yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
Play Woody Marks. Wood Marks will take it higher this week.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
All right, let's go, FLI rank this one is for you.
Do I trade Chris Godwin for Jalen Warren. I have
a jkamswe JK Dobbins and Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
I'm gonna go take that deal that I would absolutely
make it it in.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
I'll do it all right.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
One last one, AJ Brown or Bryan Thomas from my
wide receiver too.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
No, you know, I'm gonna say AJ Brown.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
I just think this is a squeaky wheel game and
he'll get some more opportunity right there. So not a
great spot to be in though at this point in
the season. Okay, we are going to peer into the future.
We're going to give you Monday's fantasy headlines today just
in case you can't catch up with everything that happens
over the weekend. Florio, please tell us the future.

Speaker 5 (39:31):
I may love to smoke the peace pipe. But the
rest of you need to beware the power of the
Dart side.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
I think Jackson Dart and his legs go off this week,
all right.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
Right, Fields Day and the big Apple there justin Fields
beating the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 6 (39:47):
Having a monster game this week for the New York Jets.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
I'm gonna tell you that Sonic and Knuckles rumble in
the jungle going against the Cincinnati Bengals, another big day
for them. Stick around more coming up back with you
