Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of the NFL
Fantasy Football Show. It's me your man, MG, Marcus Grand
joined by Michael F. Florio and Lakwan Jones.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
The quiet.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
I'm assuming that the Rams are Are they playing a
game this week? Oh yeah, oh oh absolutely, man, we're outside.
We're barking, man and beat those forty winers. You already notivies, Marcus.
I'll start the show off like this, man, Come on,
come on, where's the hammer?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
No Molnier, Oh no, Monier makes you appearance there close by.
You already know. We got a whole lot to get
into for the show today.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
We'll give you starts and sins for week five, plus
some running backs to watch in the primetime matchups. Not
to mention bold predictions for the weekend, but of course
gonna get heavy into these starts and sits, which you
can always check them out at NFL dot com slash
starts sid Michael Floya puts those together every week. So
let's start with the quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Who your starts? Who are your sits for Week five?
I think Justin Fields is an absolute must start in
this one. I think Justin Herbert all one concerns at all.
I think this could be a back and forth, higher
scoring game with Jayden on the other side. Don't call
me at Homer Drake may. I know the Bills have
allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL, but that
to me feels a little bit of who they have played.

(01:19):
Plus they allow the most rushing yards to quarterbacks. Jared
Goff because the Lions, if they want to put up
one hundred this week, I think they can. And then
Daniel Jones. My theory with him is you play him
when he's not going to be under pressure. And the
Raiders despite having Max Crosby having created a ton of
pressure this year, and in my sis, Trevor mid Lawrence
because I think the nicknames speaks for itself. Carson Wentz

(01:43):
it was all in ketchup mode last week, and I
don't think that'll be the case against the Browns. And
then Geno Smith. It's it's been a rough start of
the year for Gino Smith.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
He's throwing it a lot. He's also throwing it to
the other team a lot. Yeah, which is not good.
I'm no football genius, but you want to throw it
to the guys who were in the same jersey as you.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
General someone in our comments. I did see he was like,
who's Gino Smith's brother on the show? And I'm like, yeah,
his hair in his back. It's just you know, like
I can't I can't see it. At this point, I
just I just back.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I can't, I can't get away. I grew my hair out,
Gino grew his hair out.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
So this is just is what it is.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Anyway, let's talk about some of the guys that Florio
just mentioned in his start and sit list.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Drake May, I don't remember you.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Were you on the Drake May trade at the start
of the year of the quater? Did you come on later?
But either way, are you are you on board now
with Drake May?

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I came on later because last season was.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Kind of rough, man like. He averaged one hundred and
seventy five passing yards per game. It was got awful
with a ton of turnovers. But this season, this boy
is balling man two plus touchdowns in the last three weeks.
Rushing upside is not as high as I expected, but
he is making up for it by dropping touchdowns in
the end zone. So I do like Drake May this week,
Like Florio said, I mean the Bill's defense is good,

(02:57):
but I do think it's based on who they play
at quarterback. This is their biggest threat at the quarterback
position this week, especially somebody that's mobile where the Bills
are struggling to stop the run. So I do think
Drake May is a strong play for me because this
guy is completing the ball because guess what, he is
leading the lead and completion percentage. I did not see
this coming, guys.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
I will correct you on one thing. I mean, they
did play Lamar Jackson, you know, like, so they faced
some that's.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
The only good one. Well, I will say Justin I
think Justin Fields, I'm not going to disparage him by
any stretch. And the Bills that shut him down, are you,
I mean, are you?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Are you trying to pretend that that Drake May is
better than Lamar Jackson?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Is that what we're doing?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Don't do that, Marcus No Jackson, Like what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Okay? Right now? Right now?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
This is the biggest thread they're dealing with this week,
because I do think Drake May is going to surprise
a lot of folks this week, Like people are still
looking down on him, like this dude is a top
ten quarterback this season?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Stop talking down. I'm a May believer.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Like, I just wanted to clarify what you're recasing than Lamar.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
He's not both in Lamar Jackson. No, he reminds me
of young Josh Allen maybe in the future. I just
wanted to clear that up.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Like, I'm just trying to help you so that I'm
helping you so that the fantasy streets don't come after
you about this, right, I'm doing you a favor.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Are we still doing the Josh Allen two point oho?
The two point zero Josh Allen with Drake May? I
watched him a lot, Drake May, and I'm always like,
he looks like he looks right now. I think a
lot like year two Josh Allen, where he has the
skill set he's starting to take come end of the offense,
but there's still like a player to a game where
you're like, what were you thinking?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Josh Allen had a lot of that early in his
career too.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I mean, look, if the development continues, then I think
we're all for it here in Fantasy. On the s
side of things, Lawan, would you like to bring out
the mid ometer?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yes, we are probably gonna have to retire this because
this seems like he's not.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
We can't retire it for two more weeks.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Didn't always say sindown, but that was at it because
it was just like, what is this guy doing?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
And obviously he's going to be a sit until further notice.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
I honestly think he is nearing like the drop zone,
Like I don't understand why people are still rostering Trevor
Mid Lawrence right now or he low we should be
calling him, because I don't think he's played mid. He's
just been playing just bad. So I don't understand why
folks are still rostering this guy. So having him as
a sit, he needs to sit on the wire until
further notice, until we see life coming from Duvall.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
We I will say, though, you can't retire the board
for at least two more weeks because week seven wake
up bright and early in London we get Rams Jags
and like how toxic this guy is? You gotta play.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
You have to play the Jaguars on their home turf
in London, Like I don't know, man, the Jaguars in
London are a different animal, no pun intended, like they
are different.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
That is home, that is home for them, so.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Like, you know, you really might be walking into a
hornet's nest in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
It's fine. We always make the home team. James feel disappointed.
That's gonna show up like a red phone booth or
something like that. I have like he's gonna have.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Something planned looking forward to seeing that one. Let's move
our attention to the running backs. Floya, who are your
starts and sits for the week.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I think Alvin Kamara. I know he's had a couple
of down games, and Kendre Miller's getting more involved, but
it's the Giants. David Montgomery. Last week was awful, but
this week they get the Bengals. They're gonna do whatever
they want against them. Camp Scattabo thirteen or more Fantasy
points in three straight inning, absolutely fed volume. And then again,
don't call me a homer Stevenson and Traveon Henderson because

(06:36):
the Bills have get ran all over this year and
they allow runs of ten plus yards nearly one out
of every five carries to running backs. And then the
sis Chase Brown another tough matchup for him. I think
that O line is just dragging everyone down there at
starting him right now is hoping for catches in catchup
mode Jordan Mason because the Browns defense is the best

(06:56):
run defense in the league, and I I don't know
if you could bank on him getting catches with Xavier
Scott breaking out last week in that role. Tony Pollard,
he's getting volume, he's not doing anything with it right
now fantasy wise. Isaiah Pacheco, I know last week was fun,
but because he scored a touchdown, but they're using three
backs now and that is I think last week was

(07:18):
actually a step back for Pacheco, even though it was
his best fantasy game. And then Zach Sharboney. He outscored
Kenneth Walker last week, but the Bucks have low key
been really good against the run this season. Zach Scharboney's
greatest value is being able to fall into the end zone.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
I mean he gets he gets pretty much all the
goal line opportunities there. Tony Pollard is kind of the
only thing in Tennessee that was even mildly interesting. So
if we're taking him away this week, it's bleak.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
There's not a Titan I would want to start, you.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Know, there's not a Titan apparently that the cam Ward
wants to start based on the way he described the
offense over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I'm gonna keep it a buck. Yeah, let's go the
good side of things.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Though I named that wasn't on the board but is
in the list.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Uh he marks.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
But also let's talk about the Patriots running back. So
ramondre Stevenson, Travion Henderson, one of these guys has to
pop right, one.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Of them, one of them.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, I do think I'm leaning more on Ramandre Stevenson
because it does not seem to.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Be that he's going to go away at this point.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I mean, we saw last week where he was a
guy that was kind playing in the background. In the
first half, it was a lot of Trevion Henderson. But
then you look at that second half of the game.
He plays seventy percent of the snaps and he led
them in touches in the second half. So he's not
going to go anywhere. Like, I do feel like this
matchup seems like it's juicy for Trevion Henderson. But I'm
very fearful that this might end up being on Ramondre

(08:40):
Stevenson's plate to really put up the fantasy points over
Travon Henderson.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Like part of me wants the Henderson breakout to happen.
I thought last week maybe after the Stevenson and Gibson fumbles,
But just going based on the metrics, it's still Remandre
who's getting most of the opportunities. He's getting most of
the snaps, more the touches, So just you know, again,
you just follow the metrics, you're looking at Remandre. But

(09:05):
I still am waiting for the moment that the Patriots
are around and say, hey man, we got Remandre or Trevion,
we should give him the ball.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
That's gonna happen, right, Like I think I did write,
I think Stevenson is the safer floor play. I think
Henderson is the home run hitting. But if you're listening,
trade for their next three games they get the Bills,
the Saints, the Titans, and then their scheduled late in
the year is awesome as well. Like I think this
is the time to try to get Trevion on your team,
all right, So.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Maybe a buy low opportunity there. On the other side,
it's been a rough start to the season for Isaiah
Pacheco Lakwan. Would you like to stick up for your
your fellow Jersey Are.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
You New Jerseyans, New Jersey Heights.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
What is the New Jersey ins Jerseys? Okay, make Jersey,
That's all that matters.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Would you like to would you like to send your
fellow Jersey in for your fellow pork role leader.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
I want to put it out here like I love
supporting guys that from New Jersey. You know all the
players we we like to support to, but this one
I cannot man like he is near the drop zone?
Is he gonna go Taylor Ham on the Jaguars. He
is not going to go Taylor Ham. Marcus, We're now
you're gonna acknowledge Taylor Ham. It's pork role. But I

(10:14):
do think we're Burshard smith Man. His involvement is increasing.
He seems to be the guy that's gonna get a
lot of the valuable opportunities in fantasy, being that if
you were in PPR Leagus. He's a former wide receiver,
natural hands. He's a speedster as well, and we know
the Chiefs love speed and the guy like Matt Naggy
loves peppering targets to the running back position. We've seen
his time in Chicago with Treie Cohen and how much

(10:36):
Voume he's seen and how he was able to benefit
in fantasy, so I do think this may be pour
one out for the homie man. It might be over
for Procheco. In starting lineups.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
In my Sleepers column this week, which you can find
at NFL dot com slash sleepers, I have Brishard Smith
in there right now, let's go. I think the opportunity
is growing for him. Plus he has the pass catching chops.
You know, I don't think they're really use Kareem Hunt
quite that way anymore. I think Brishard Smith could take
over that role. I like him with some sleeper vibes

(11:06):
this week against Jacksonville on Monday night time. To check
out the first to score odds for the Sunday night
matchup between the Patriots and the Bills. James Cook a
minus two hundred to score the first touchdown, so very
strong odds on Cook, Traveon Henderson and Khalil Shakir following
behind Cook, and then Stefan Diggs who came to life

(11:26):
last week. Drake Maywold said they got to get the
ball to digs More and they absolutely did give the
ball to digs More. So, Lucull we sort of talked
about this. We were sort of hoping for it. What
are the chances that we actually do get the Traveon
Henderson game that Mike Vrabel, Josh mcgann' will be like,
hey man, we should actually load this guy up with targets.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
It touches there's opportunity. And then I understand folks who
are going out there putting in starting lineups. This is
a matchup where he should excel. He should be able
to bounce outside, put his foot in the ground and
find himself in the end zone eventually. But we're not
getting that security that he is getting the max opportunities
right now. So I understand if you're putting him out
there in starting lineups with the bye weeks, so at

(12:06):
the end of the day, you're going to take risk
putting him in starting lineups because he's not the starting
running back. So I do think folks are going to
be chasing us for weeks and weeks in how I'm
chasing RJ.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Harvey.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
It's fine, I'm looking at the other side of the fense.
It's not that green for Trevion Henderson either, So we
just have to wait for these guys to have their
turn the step up to take over the backfield entirely.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yeah, just I think at this point, I know you
probably spent some decent draft capital on Henderson, but I
think until he shows something, even in a on paper
good matchup like this, it's just hard to put him
in a lineup until we actually see him get those
opportunities right now when we come back, we got starts
and sins for wide receivers and tight ends. Plus Chiefs

(12:46):
and Jaguars has become a really intriguing matchup for Monday
Night Football. Stick around for more of the NFL Fantasy
Football Show. Continuing our preview of some of the week
five prime time games, go to Monday Night Football. The
Kansas City Chiefs at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacks a surprised
three and one, the Chiefs sitting at two and two.

(13:07):
You can see that game eight fifteen at pm Eastern
on ESPN ABC and ESPN Deportes.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Florio has Travis etn become a must start now only
if you like fantasy points. Okay, sure, he's scored eleven
or more in every game, three of which he scored
sixteen or more. He's dominating volume right now, Like, yeah,
he has been of all the middle to late round
running backs. So far, he's been the biggest breakout of them.
And yeah, if you have him, you know this and

(13:34):
you should be starting, even in a tough matchup like
I know the Chiefs are tough against the run. I'm
not getting away from him in that one. No.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
And that's funny because remember, coming into the season, we're like,
I don't know, do the Jaguars still like Travis Etn
or we're gonna see Tank Bigsby?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
What about Besehall Tuton?

Speaker 1 (13:48):
And after the first four weeks of the season, it
looks like the reason they traded Tank Bigsby was not
Basehall Tuton. It was because they decided that, oh, yeah,
we really do like Travis Etn and we want.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
To give him the ball a lot.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
He's run the ball effectively, he's catching the ball out
of the backfield.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
He's doing all the.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Things we thought Travis Etn was going to do when
the Jaguars first drafted him. So it's good to see
him sort of get this opportunity and not just get
the opportunity, but play well with the opportunity. He's been
given back to our starts and since going over to
the wide receiver position, Florida.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Who was up? Who is down? This week? I'm going
in on it this week. A J. Brown as a
start against the Denver Broncos. Why I'm just banking on
talent here. And he had nine targets last week, eight
or more and three straight games. You give him that volume.
I do think eventually him and Hurts are going to
get on the same page. Garret Wilson is as must
start as a must start player could be this week

(14:41):
against the Cowboys. Over eighty yards and a touchdown in
three or four games. Lakwan's gonna love this. Quinn Johnson
and Keenan Allen both as starts against the coach and
big play Xavier Worthy. I think it's a good matchup
for him one and the volume's going his way. He's
the deep threat all of that. And then I know
people were like, well, it's kind of your logic for

(15:03):
AJ Brown being good enough and getting volume is kind
of the same as Brian Thomas. The difference is Brian
Thomas through four weeks as the fourth highest rate of
uncatchable targets and his catchery would be the worst in
the last fifteen years. I have digs as a sit
I know Last week was a big game for him.
He's still he's finally starting to get more volume, but

(15:23):
the Bills have been the toughest matchup for receivers. Chris Godwin,
he had ten targets last week, but he looked like
he's still shaking off the rust. The Seahawks are really tough.
Gee Higgins, I want no, absolutely no part of and
I feel the same way with Jerry Judy, especially with
Dylan Gabriel starting.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Looking at the starts on the wide receiver side. We
talked about this earlier in the week, Lakwan, but it
looks like Chris ol Lobby is making it out of
the satchel of discontent.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Is this a long term thing or is this just
a week five thing?

Speaker 3 (15:52):
I don't know, man, this feels like it might be
a long term thing and him crawling out of that
Sachel man, I don't know him, but Chris o' lobby
right now is top five in catches and in targets.
But the yards are a little low, only forty six
yards per game that he's getting, so I don't think
that these targets are valuable. But guess what, guys, I
started Chris o'lovey last week over Jamar Chase. I had

(16:14):
the screenshot, I sent it to the group chat, and
I was happy I made that decision. So Florio, I'm
not too worried about Brian Thomas Junior for the next
couple of weeks because of Trevor mid Lawrence. But guess what, guys,
I'm actually sitting AJ Brown this week for one of
the guys that Florio's saying that he wants to sit,
which is kind of surprising.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Man.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
That that revenge game, it's gonna be great for Stefon Diggs.
So I'm starting Stefon Diggs over AJ Brown this week.
I mean, guys, I'm already getting rosted in my group
chat right now about it. But it's fine. I'm here
for w's. I'm not strapped to big names, man, I'm
strapped too fantasy points and that's what we're gonna be
rolling with.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
I mean, look, you proved that earlier in the year
when you were like, I'm gonna start LC Ioman Or
over Jamar Chase. And I mean right now, after one game,
Chase does have of a slight lead over Io manor
slightly slight lead.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
It is a lead nonetheless like Io Manner had six points,
Jamar Chase had seven.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Do you see where I'm going? Six? Seven? The thing,
the thing that's so sad about this bet was like
if Iomanner put up like fourteen and it was it'd
be like, all right, cool, six and seven is just impressing.
This is this is a pillow fight right now.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
This is not particularly great at all. So we'll see
how this continues along. I would say the thing going
in Jamar Chase's favors at least he didn't have to
play the Broncos this week.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Jake Brown is still pretty bad. Yeah, he does not
look great. But Stephan Diggs, you are fully on board
with Stephan Diggs this week? Yes?

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Is this a revenge game thing? Is this a Drake
may is targeting him more thing?

Speaker 2 (17:50):
So I'm gonna go with that.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Maybe he needed to be slowly ramped up because like
I was pointing at like, hey, this guy's not getting
any targets downfield. And then we saw week he finally
showed some life for fantasy managers because to believe it
or not, he was near that drop zone as well.
If they were just going to be having Hunter Henry
lead the charge for this Patriots offense. But Stefan Diggs
showing life last week and then him going into this

(18:13):
game where it's going to be high emotion. This is
a true revenge game, so I do think he's going
to try to make his mark felt and make sure
the Buffalo Bills fill his presence. So I'm definitely going
to be feeling like he's going to be one of
those guys in my starting lineups that's going to make
me proud this week.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
He was there the first few weeks of the season,
but I literally I think I said this, I had
to go and look at the box score to make
sure he wasn't hurt or something.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
I'm like, before last week he was only targeted on
four times beyond the sticks. Okay, that's insane, Like everything
was close to the line of scrimmans for Diggs, and
I'm like, he's not going to be able to create
after the catch, being that he's recovering from injury, so
we need to start utilizing him more downfield. And then
last week that's what we saw and then you saw
the results of that.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Yeah, So hopefully that continues this week for the sake
of the.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Strength of the Bills as there's secondary. That's all I'm
gonna say. Look at it, Look at Floria, Man, come on,
don't you watch it?

Speaker 1 (19:05):
So I'm gonna lean like like Christian Benford is a
lockdown guy, just like I I go. You know, because
you talk about the Rams struggling its tight ends and
rushing quarterbacks, like I take that into account, like you
watch them closely, so he watches the Bill.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
The other thing is like, I just think the running
game is going to get to the Bills like that,
and they've been really good downfield. Well we'll see. I mean,
Dicks could come through there. I do think the Patriots,
if they can generate a touchdown for Diggs, they're gonna
try to do so.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Yeah, uh, finals get the tight ends. So who are
your starts and sits for the week.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Tyler Warren is a mustard option, as is Jake Ferguson.
Like there's very if you don't have Bowers and McBride.
These guys are the next up at the tight end position.
Hunter Henry. I know the Bills have been good against
tight ends, it doesn't matter to me. I like Hunter
Henry gets used so consistently and the upside is high
enough to get him in Don Kincaid. I know last

(19:57):
week was kind of a step back target wise, but
he he has been consistently utilized for the Bills, so
I think at a weak tight end position he's in play.
Zach Ertz is the top slot target for the Commanders,
and the Chargers weakness on defense has been against the
slot and in the six. TJ. Hockinson one good game,
I don't trust it, and the Browns are a really

(20:18):
tough defense. Dallas Goddard has three touchdowns in his last
two games. He also has just six targets, and last
week was his first two red zone targets of the years,
so I'm not really banking on that touchdown rate to continue.
I'm sitting both Browns tight ends new quarterback. The Vikings
are extremely tough against the position. All of that, and
then Kaid and like I have Isaiah likely as a

(20:42):
sit too for the same reasons, like you gotta be
on the field getting targets to score fantasy points, and
those guys just aren't getting it consistently enough. Look on
Dalton Kin Kad.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
The Bills are spreading the ball around, but Dalton kin
k seems to be getting a lot of work is
he finally blossoming into the tight end we hoped he
could be.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
I think so.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
And the one thing that I want to point out,
it looks like Florio has forgiven him for his wrongdoing.
You know how last season ended, So it's good to
see don K and Gate and good graces with you, Florio.
But man, the one thing that is standing out to
me is that he's scoring touchdowns. Guys hes three touchdowns
on the season. Last season he had two, and his
rookie year he had two as well. So it's like
it looks like he is trending up to be an
effective tight end that you can trust and rely on

(21:20):
and starting lineups. The guy's getting red zone looks, the
guys getting involved, as you can see in a short game,
they're designing plays for him to get up field. So
I do think he is actually part of the function
of this Bill's offense. It may be some weeks where
he may have some lows, but I just like what
I've seen from him these last couple of weeks where
I can rely on him as my tight end one
for a lot of my rosters.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
All right, And then on the other side, Isaiah likely
coming back, but no Lamar Jackson. It looks like you
up or down on Isaiah Likely this week.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
So the one note that I wanted to point out,
like he made his Cardio King debut last week, he
did absolutely nothing. He just ran a ton of routes.
I do think there may be a ramp up per
for him where I am still acquiring him off the
waiver wire. I am still side eyeing Mark Andrews. I
don't know if I could trust him, especially without Lamar
for these next couple of weeks. So I'm just looking
at Isaiah Likely. Does he become a target for Cooper Rush,

(22:12):
Does he become a function of this offense again of
how he started last season. Like, I do think that
both of these guys being in contract years, one of
these guys have to pull away. They say, hey, I
am the best investment for the future. So I do
think Isaiah Likely is on the watch list. You need
to keep your eyes on him, especially in this game,
just to see his usage if it increases.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
The Lamar Jackson factor is big though, especially if he's
going to be out for several weeks. We'll see on that,
but kind of a time maybe to get away from
Raven's pass catchers, at least in the short term.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
So there you go. More starts.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Incision can go to start nfl dot com slash starts
to get more analysis from Michael Florio.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
There.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Now, get yourself a glass of milk, maybe some horkshot.
It's side for our spicy takes for week five.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Oh boy, we're getting spicy man now. Florio had Jordan
Mason as a this week, which I understand. This is
the Browns defense. You do not want to get in
battle with him. I explained last week why you don't
want to get into battle with them. But I am
saying that Jordan Mason will be the first running back
against the Browns this season to put up one hundred yards. Now,
Jami or Gibbs almost did it last season. Now, I

(23:16):
do think these guys are just different beasts, but they're
eating in the same jungle because they are actually tied
with two hundred and seventy one rushing yards right now.
So I am saying that Jordan Mason will run it
up against the Browns and make a statement and have
his presence felt.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
All right, So big day coming potentially for Jordan Mason. Floria,
you have another running back you think goes big this week.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah, I saw this matchup and I was like, Devon
Han against the Panthers could score as many points as
he wants. I think the thing I love about Hn
he's getting a lot of the work on the ground.
We know how explosive he is, but he's game script dependent,
like not at all games script dependent, because when they
fall behind, he might be their top target. Like he

(23:59):
no running back score more Fantasy points off of receiving
SATs last season than eight Chan and it started that
way again this year. But I think against the Panthers,
the Dolphins will have a lead, so I think we're
gonna see a lot of Devon Chan down the stretch.
And he is so explosive that he could break two
or three long touchdown runs. Like there's a game where

(24:19):
he dropped forty five Fantasy points as the RB two
for this team, Like we know what he can do
even unlimited touches, but I think this is a big
volume game for him in what is the best matchup
for running backs. So yeah, I think a Chan drops
forty and leads a lot of you to victory this week.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
So I'm going to keep the running back theme going
and also the whole thing of targeting bad defenses. I'm
going to tell you that both Lions running backs will
each have twenty five or more Fantasy points for the
second time this year. We saw Sonic and knuckles at
Kajmir Gibbs and David Montgomery do that against the Baltimore
Ravens a couple of weeks ago. Now they eat the Bengals,
who I don't know if you've noticed, they are bad

(24:56):
on defense, bottom five rushing defense. Meanwhile, our bottom seven
rushing desis that's just say. Meanwhile, the Lions top five
in rate of rushing plays called. So I think the
matchup plus the fact that I expect the Lions kind
of name their score and be able to run the
ball in the second half, means that both Gibbs and
Montgomery have huge days. Obviously, you're starting Jamior Gibbs if

(25:20):
for whatever reason you were on the fence about starting
David Montgomery maybe after a bad game last week, do
not have any fear it'll get a whole lot better
this week. So we're all big on running backs and
our bold predictions for Week five.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
In the meantime, for us, that is it. We are done.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football show.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
You know the drill.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Tell two friends to tell two friends, rate review, and
remember seize the moment. I mean, think of all those
folks on the Titanic who waved off the dessert card.
Be safe, take care of yourselves, Enjoy Week five.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Everybody. We'll talk to you again on Monday. Count Help count,
