Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of the NFL
Fantasy Football Show. It's Being Your Man MG Marcus grand
Joy by Michael F. Florio and the Kwan Jones.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
In the thick of.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Week eights, we bring in the back half of the
Fantasy's My Apocalypse. Yeah, it's gonna be wild because obviously
it is by them again and we got six teams
on a bye so to that end well, as we
always do, but especially this week, right, We've got Florio's
top starts and sits for Week eights. We pick some
of our favorite pass catches for Sunday Night and Monday nights.
Plus we're getting spicy with our bold calls of the week.

(00:42):
So let's just get right into it, right because you
can find all of these written by Michael F. Florio
on nfl dot com slash Start Sit. We will start,
as we always do, with a quarterback position. Who do
you like this week? Who do you not like this week?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I included the first two Dak Prescott and Drake May
because of their matchups.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I think they've kind of reached a point where.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
You know, to start them weekly. But people are concerned
about the Broncos and Browns matchups. I still think these
guys are very much so in play. Jackson Dart we
went off against the Eagles two weeks ago. He goes
off against whoever he plays that week because of what
he does with his legs. Bo Nicks held in check
for three quarters and then had the greatest quarter in
Fantasy history.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I'm not sure if that's factual, it just feels like
it is.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
And against the best matchup against the Cowboys, and then
Daniel Jones because the Titans do not generate pressure, and
I think that.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Are those are the weeks where you could really use.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Jones, and then sits Jordan Love has been all floor
and not really much upside this year. It's looking like
it's going to be Mac Jones for the forty nine ers.
But I just don't want to play either of their
qbs against the Texans, who really look good against Seattle
and have been a really tough matchup on against qbs.
Marcus Mariota has been in play because of his legs,

(01:53):
but I don't like the matchup against the Chiefs. There's
no way I want to do the two a thing.
And then Carson Wentz.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
It is all bad in Miami, man like it seems
like every time to what steps to the microphone, something
something bad happens or something weird and comes out. But LaQuan,
when you're looking at these quarterbacks, these starts, especially any thoughts,
particularly in what you see there.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Like Caleb Williams to me, looks like a layup matchup
this week. Like we know the teams that we can
pick on, but I'm kind of side eyeing them because
last week was kind of uncomfortable less than five fantasy points,
and I'm kind of looking at like who you guys
find the Saints, Like I think there's gonna be a
lot of up and down when it come to Kayleb Williams.
But in the Bypocalypse, I'm just hoping that my homie

(02:36):
can hold me down because I really need this win
this week in the Bipocalypse, And I think, honestly, looking
at Ben Johnson's system, we have to remember and kind
of take a step back that his first year as
offensive coordinator for the Lions, this offense had its up
and down. It wasn't the Lions team that we know
and love now. So I still have upside. I still
have praise for Kayla Williams this season, but I'm kind

(02:56):
of side eyeing him this week, like you better get
the job done this week.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, I mean, I know the fantasy output was sort
of disappointing with Caleb this past week, but I also
wonder how much of it has to do with the
Bears coming out of the by have been so good
running the football.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You know, they went up twenty to nothing last week,
both rushing touchdowns. He didn't have to this week. Lamar
is on the other side, He's probably gonna have to
throw a bit more.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Yeah, I would think so any of the guys there
on the s side of things, La Kwan that they
grabbed your attention.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Guys, I see too, And I'm like, have we been
looking at the fantasy streets these last couple of weeks,
Like I'm not sure anybody feels comfortable rostering to it
right now? That includes the Miami Dolphins. What the circus
is going to be going on and on as the
season progresses, Like he says the lack of height is
what he blamed on for not targeting Jay and Wattle,
Like come on, man, Like I can't understand why even

(03:52):
say that on camera, Like why even get in front
of him Mike to say that, like, you ain't the
tallest guy out there, but you ain't the shortest. Like
my guy is Bryce Young, shortest guy in the NFL
right now and as a starting quarterback, So what is
the excuse for them? They're they're actually having a winning
record where the Dolphins are kind of bad right now.
So I'm kind of getting away from all Dolphins players
outside the name of Devon a. Chan moving on from

(04:14):
the rest of the season.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah, that was that was kind of wild, right.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I'm sure Bryce Young is sitting around be like, hey,
don't don't ask me any questions about this, Like I'm
name good, I'm straight, I can I can find my guys. Uh,
don't don't ask you about anything that's going on over there.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Making the six to one quarterbacks look bad Like Baker
six to one, Bro, he ain't complaining about no height thing.
He and the MVP talks right now, like come on
to it, get it together, Tua.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
They need to turn the mic off sometimes, man, Like
this is like the third time in a month that
he's said something that he's got to come out and be.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Like, oh, I probably shouldn't have said that, Like what's
going on?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Man? Like just you don't need to talk at all
the time. Just you know, whatever you're thinking, just just
hold it back. It's fine. Maybe just just give it
a test run in front of your teammates and your coach.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
And then what Mike McDaniel make me apologize for saying
that this should be going through his headed.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
All at all time. We will see.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
But otherwise it is all bad in Miami, both offensively
and defensively.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
It's pretty much the devon ah Chan. It's like the
only guy I trust in that offense at this point.
And even Darren Waller, he's gone. He became a thing
for likes. He's gone. He's back in the booth. He's gone.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
The running backs, though, yeah, obviously I think I've counted
six of the top twenty five running backs are off
this week because of buy So who are you starting?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Who are you sitting? DeAndre Swift?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
You talk about the Bears running the ball extremely well,
they're also running the ball the third highest rate since
their bye week. I think he's a must start this week.
Breese Hall, as long as he's good to go health wise,
is a very good play this week. Eighteen carries per
eighteen opportunities per game, and the Bengals allow a lot
of explosive runs.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
JK. Dobbins. I think is get right this game.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
The last couple of weeks haven't been his best, but
the Cowboys have struggled against the run.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Like, don't call me a homer man.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I have two Panthers running backs as starts to against
the Bills this week, because he could run all over
the Bills. I like Rico Moore, but I do think
Chuba could get more passes if they're trailing in that game.
And then Bill Merritt, I think that they're just gonna
look to run the ball as much as they possibly
can against the Chiefs in that one. And as for
the Sis Alvin Kamara, I have big concerns that we

(06:19):
are watching the end of his career before our eyes.
Waving the white flag on Travian Henderson. It's just never
gonna happen, not with this coaching staff. Jalen Warren, because
the Packers are really good against not only the run,
they're good against limiting pass catching running backs. Chase Brown,
it's been all floor. Even last week he looked really good.

(06:40):
I was a floor game for fantasy. And then Tony
Pollard like he's just not doing much and Taji Spears
is getting more and more involved.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
All right, So meam's on there that I certainly love
something that I'm I have a little bit of concern about.
But Lakwan, when you look at the starts for running backs,
anybody that in particular catchers your eye.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
I'm hoping JK Domains can hold me down because these
last two weeks have been very uncomfortable looking at him,
having probably one of the lowest Fantasy performers in the
last two weeks that we hope this season because man,
it's hard to go out there in the bipocalypse with
so many startuple running backs on by and then trying
to trust the man that we call Sean Payon. He
is about to be the new Fantasy Streets boogie Man,

(07:18):
because I think he is making us pull our hair out,
giving us grace trying to figure out what's going on
with this actual attack because in the last four games, R. J.
Harvey and JK. Dobbins are both averaging nine Fantasy points
per game. Like, folks, this is getting real nasty. So
hopefully in this layup matchup, because the Cowboys defense are
allowing over one hundred and forty rushing yards per game.

(07:40):
This should be the matchup. We get this bounce back
from JK.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Dobbins. Are you done with RJ. Harvey this year? Lakwan Ah,
don't ask me that you know I'm holding Harvey man.
I gotta hold it down. That's my guy.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
But I mean, look, there's another running back that I
actually want to bully my way into talking about who
else was on that board. But Florio, I'm happy to
see that we got Travion Henderson as a sit because
he had a birthday yesterday actually, and I'm really surprised
that the Patriots, you know, didn't post for Andre Stevenson
Happy Birthday instead of Travion Henderson. And I heard there

(08:13):
was a cake. Stevenson blew out the candles while Mike
Rabil watched. But this is the middle meter where I
have entered. I've revealed on Monday where Travon Henderson needs
to earn that whole name Hendo. He is Heno. So
whenever I get asked in my DMS on TikTok, They're like, oh,
do I start such and such or Travion Heno, do

(08:33):
not make the mistake. He is hitting the bench until
further noticing folks Florio, I'm sorry, but I had to
drop my guy. I shared on the pod two weeks
ago that I was ready to let go and cut ties,
and I'm okay with that because when that breakout game happens,
it's probably going to be on our bench, and probably
on the team that I'm not making the playoffs anyway.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
So I look, I think for a lot of folks,
you know, Henderson is definitely going on the bench. I'm
sure a lot more people have rag dropped him over
the last couple of weeks. I want to ask you
for about Rimandre Stevenson, because he is getting the work.
They don't really want to go away from him. But
can you start him against the Browns this week?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Ideally I would not want to.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
I think there are people out there who are in
a situation where there are the six teams on by,
and like you said, it's what six of the top
twenty five running backs sitting this week. Some injuries out
there and involving like your flex or whatever, you might
have no choice but to plug him in and just
be like, he's getting work. But I don't want to
use him if I don't have to We've seen Stevenson
struggle a lot this year with efficiency. Now he's going

(09:32):
up against maybe the best run defense in the NFL.
I think Rick may is very much so in play
this week in the pass catchers because there the Browns defense.
I think it looks a little bit better fantasy point
wise allowed than it does metrically against the pass. But
the run they check out across the board, they are
just dominant, So ideally I would try to get away
the upside.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Though It's been a couple of weeks since Stevenson has fumbled,
so that's a got that going for He was.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
My sleeper last week. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Yeah, when he fumbles next time, they're gonna blame Treon problems.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
That's kind of how it's gone so far this season.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
We'll get back to some more starts and since in
just a little bit, but time to take a look
at the Sunday night matchup between the Green Bay Packers
and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here are the first touchdown odds
for this one. Josh Jacobs with the best odds, followed
by Jalen Warren.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Then it's Tucker Craft, DK Metcalf and Romeo Dobbs.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
A little bit of alternating between the Packers and the
Steelers in that one, lakwan, When you look at that
list between Jacob's, Warren Craft, Metcalf, and Dobbs, anybody you
liked there or would you like to go off.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Book for something. I like DK Metcalf.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
I think Aaron Rodgers is gonna have him as a
key piece to be really petty in this game, because
I know Aaron Rodgers is looking at this like this
ain't a revenge game, but he wants to make a statement,
and I think DK has been his guy when he's
looking to put up six points. So I think last
week was kind of an outlier. Or Florio shouted out
that three tight ends will score touchdown.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
What a call.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
By the way, I don't know what Etsy Voodoovich you
put on freaking Dk Metcalf last week, but he made
me lose my league not being involved. Oh yeah, he
is the Fantasy Streets boogie man. But I think Sean
Pain and him they're kind of tied right now when
it comes to claiming that claim.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
But I do like DK Metcalf all right.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Well along those lines, since you are apparently the Steelers
tight end whisperer, if we are spinning the wheel because
the Packers have not been good against fantasy tight ends.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Who doesn't land on this week?

Speaker 3 (11:34):
We do this same segment on Fantasy Live on Fridays,
and my answers is great.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I can't wait for it. It is a tight end.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
It's probably not the one you're thinking of, but I
think Friar Hayward. I think Friar is probably the one
I trust the most, just because the way he's being
used right now. But I wouldn't be surprised at all
if it's another game where him and John hu Smith
split targets and they're both kind of heavily utilized, and

(12:05):
then Washington is used in the red zone because of that.
Because the Packers struggle against tight ends, they're really good
against the run. They've they've been hit or miss a
little bit against receivers, but the Steelers only have one
that you really need to lock in on, so I
expect them to continue to feature their tight ends. It's again,
I say a lot, it's not gonna be fun for fantasy,

(12:25):
but Arthur Smith does.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Not care in the slightest about fantasy.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
And I look, I know before you you know sweet
beer m me or whatever. Like, Yes, I know Cam
Hayward plays defense, but he's lined up a tight end
a couple times.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
This year because Arthur Smith likes to be tricky like that.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
So that that's the whole don't don't at me, that's
all I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Taking any quick break.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
But when we come back, we'll dive into the Monday
night football contest between the Commanders and the Chiefs and
some more starts and since that's coming up next on
the NFL Fantasy Football Show, so we're trying something new
this week.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Gonna have one Monday night football game. That's it, just one.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
It's the Commanders at the chief You can see that game,
of course at Monday at eight to fifteen pm Eastern
Time on ESPN, ESPN deport it Is, I believe, also
on the American Broadcasting.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
And The O Show, The Old Show ESPN eight, The
Old Show, Lakwan.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
The Chiefs have pretty much everybody back now, right, Savior
word is back where she Rice just came back, Hollywood Brown,
Travis Kelce, Juju Smith, Shoes, Taekwon, Thornton, uh Stefan, Paige, Lakwan, Jones,
Dwayne bow Like, they're all there. They're all available for
the Chiefs this week. Which Chiefs pass catcher out of
that group do you trust the most? It has to

(13:42):
be Rashid Rice. Like last week he was targeted on
sixty two percent of his routes. That high a percentage
just tells the story of how much attention Patrick Mahomes
is paying to Rashid Rice. Because at the end of
the day, you saw when he put that we're in sync,
when he made that rate catch on the sideline, Like,
this is a guy that is locked in with one

(14:04):
of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. This high of
percentage of attention is going to be all season long.
Like all the fantasy managers that held onto the Rice bag,
I know they are happy because I.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Am one of them.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
I'm plugging him in as a wide receiver three, as
a flex in a lot of leagues, and this guy's
gonna be putting up twenty burgers twenty burgers after twenty burgers,
and you're gonna be.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Full righting your way to the Fantasy Championship.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I feel like the actual answer is none. I mean,
like you're not not starting them right, Like you're not
gonna not start Rashi Rice and you're not gonna not
start Xavier Worthy or Travis Kelcey, but there's just so
many guys.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
I think Rashi Rice is the dude, Like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
I mean it was cool because I think you got
targeted on like what ten of fourteen U fifteen routes?

Speaker 2 (14:52):
This just doesn't feel sustainable.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Yeah, they He is the one though that I think
it's easiest to generate.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
But like like what Kelsey used to get those.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Quick catch and run things like that, that's gonna go
to Rice now. I think Worthy is the one I
think takes the biggest hit because he's kind of gonna
become more downfield or bust and that is always the hardest.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Usage just sustained week to week. I feel like that
applies to Taekwon Thornton too. Oh yeah, we had a moment.
He had a nice moment, But I don't think that's
a I.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Would I dropped him in a few weeks. This week,
all right, maybe maybe it's narrowing down.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I think this week we'll get a good idea of
exactly how it's going to go. I think we'll get
more or she Rice right, he was still sort of
limited because he hadn't had any extra game action so
we'll get a good sense of it coming up tonight
or Monday Night.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
I should say against the Washington Commanders.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Back to the starts and since four week eight, looking
at the wide receivers, Florio, who are you up on?

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Who are you down on? Steph? A lot of Thursday
Night names. Only three starts here, but Steph Diggs I
think is very much so in play. I know it
was a down week last week, but he's still getting
all the volume Roma Dunesday.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
I love this week. Two down games, but the Ravens
have allowed the most zone touchdowns too wide receivers, and
he is the Bears red zone passing attack. And then
Wandel Robinson just a lot of volume going his way.
He had success against the Eagles a couple of weeks ago,
and then the Sis.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
We spoke about it earlier this week on the pod.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
But I'm done with Dj Moore just one game with
more than five targets and it was six.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Juwan Jennings. He's playing with so many injuries right now
that until he looks like himself, I think you could
get away. Keyon Coleman. I just hate the way he's.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Being used right now. It's not putting him in a
bunch of positions to succeed Hollywood. Brown just said I
dropped him in some leagues. I just he had four
targets last week. He caught a touchdown, but I don't
think he's gonna get enough volume. And then Boody like, look,
the last couple of weeks have been really fun for fantasy,
but he's averaging less than three targets per game since
Week two.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yeah, he did have that nice long touchdown catch last weeks.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Fall or nothing because he's got the best deep all
thrower in the NFL, which is good, but if he
doesn't catch it, you're getting like no points.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Looking at the starts though, LaQuan and I know a
little bit shorter list this week, but one of those
three guys make a bigger impact for you.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Shorter list for a short king.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Wandel Robinson like guys, his A dot is double of
what it was last season. Like I like seeing Wandell
Robinson being in star positions. He's entering that realm of
where like he has flex appeal each and every week
with Jackson dark because I was fearful that we were
gonna lose that long ball that that Russell Wilson moonball
that he was getting to Wando Robinson. Jackson Dar's doing

(17:27):
the same. Like right now, Wandell is top three in
deep ball receptions. Like it's insane to see Wando Robson
still bawling. So folks, he's like one of those Bilo candidates. Like,
I'm ready to get on my roster because I want
somebody with reliable hands, ability after to catch and getting
these deep targets on top of that, I mean, Florio
shout out to you, man. I hope Wando goes crazy

(17:48):
this week.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
I like Wandale a lot this week.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
And I know, for all the hype we've talked about
with Jackson, Dart and Cam Scattaboo, Wandell Robinson's a top
twenty wide receiver. He's top twenty in the league in targets, receptions,
and receiving yards. You mentioned the A dot, right, I
mean last year is just about it was just about five.
Right now it's it's a little over nine.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Dude. What the concept everything's coming up? Wondale. No, that's great,
it's great. So No, I'm I'm all on board with
Wondale Robinson. No, last year you only ran five yards?
What if we like used a little bit more downfield
a couple you could do that? You do that?

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Who knows any of the any assists that Juan Jennings,
DJ Moore, Coleman, any of those guys that you know
you're particularly off of.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
I got to tap him with my boy Florio that. Like, Bro,
are we still rostering Keonkman?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Like?

Speaker 4 (18:39):
What as a fantasy manager? Like what do we do? Like?
I honestly look at key On cole how you were
saying not being put in possessed, I mean and put
in position for success. But it's like, when are they
going to do that? Because this is one of those
games they got this week where my Bowl prediction might
be another reason why you might have to drop Keon
Coleman this week.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Yeah, I saw your Bowl prediction. I'm curious to hear
the reasonable behind that. But don't be jumping ahead in
the rundown, Bro, you can't do that.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
I have key On in a lot of leagues and
I'm I've been reluctant to cut him because I think
there's upside there. But to me, I think it depends
on what's out there on your waiver, in the size
of your league, Like my one home league is a
twelve team league where we have two flex spots, three
wide receivers, and a lot of bench spots.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
I'm holding him there.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
But in a in a league where it was like
a ten team with a regular size bench, I did
cut him. So it kind of depends on your league
and your options, I think. But I still think there's
a lot of potential there. They just I just hate
everything about him.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, confirmation bia secuping me from dropping him, right, because
like I went, I didn't. I don't know if I
went heavy in on him, but I believe, and so
like I'm not ready, I'm not ready to admit that
I was wrong.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
You see the flash there, It's there.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Everything everything Lakwan has said is right. I'm just not
ready to admit that I was rolling yet. That's all.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
It's a me thing. I'm full. I'm fine admitting that
it's a me thing.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Finally, tight Ends because it is is by the way,
not only is it by him again, it is National
tight End Day coming up on Sunday. Last year, tight
Ends went big on National tight End Day. So who
are your starts and sits there?

Speaker 2 (20:10):
This week? Did you see NBC trying to make National
running backs. Yeah, well I.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Think that was like the running backs started, like tried
to start there.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
I hope it works out for them.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
I don't know if it'll have the success that national
tight ends they did, but Dallas Goddard is very much
they started. I know last week was a little bit
down for him, but he went off two weeks ago
against the Giants and aj Brown is.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Up in the air right now.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Dalkincaid it was wild how badly the Bills missed him
a couple of weeks ago against the Falcons, and it
is a great matchup against the Panthers hald Fan and junior.
The Patriots have struggled against tight ends a bit, and
I just think there's a chemistry there between Dylan Gabriel
and Fannin and then Kyle Pitts Senior. Not only have
the Dolphins struggle against tight ends, they struggle against slot receivers,

(20:54):
and Kyle Pitts has the most slot snaps for the Falcons.
Sis zach Ertz is a completely different player when Jayden
Daniels is not out there and the Chiefs are a
tough matchup Hunter Henry. I still want him to be
a thing, but the volume has just kind of dried
up as of late. Neil Johnson, we talked about it earlier,
but his touchdown this week was extremely lucky. He was

(21:14):
held in check against the Eagles two weeks ago, and
then John new Smith, Like, it's kind of all the
Steelers right, like Pat Froyan, we've had a monster game
the other day.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
I feel zero.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Percent confidence that you could trust that though, because we
don't even know which Steelers tight end it'll be on
a given week.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yeah, I mean that's that's always a hard part.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
I did put John new Smith in the Sleepers column
this week, but also admitted that it could be.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Options it. Guys.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
I just I just threw a dart at John new
Smith and so see what happens h on the start
side of tight ends there. Lakwan, who who's standing out
to you in that group?

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Kyle pits Man, I'm staying committed, committed to my ticket
that I bought earlier at this season and because like
there's one thing that we're seeing is that the volume
is going to remain consistent. Like myl Penix's cashing in
on keeping his word of getting the ball to Pits
a lot, I mean a season high in ten targets.
This is a rarity. He's only done this three times
in his career. But Michael Penix is finding Kyle Pitts.

(22:11):
Like we're not seeing those games that we used to
see where he has one target, one catch for like
six yards. Like, we're seeing him being more involved in
the offense as the offensive plan progresses. So I do think, Man,
I'm actually happy with Kyle Pitts's situation right now. I'm
a happy Kyle Pits manager at this point. Like, Guys,
this is kind of new for me to like kind
of deal with because we know Kyle Pitts was like

(22:33):
one of the OG's in the saturl discontent.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Hey, man, Like welcome aboard, though, Like because he's very
quietly putting together a nice season.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
You know, it's a little different when when like you
use him as a streamer or like a waiver wire guy.
It's a lot different when you're like top five Kyle.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah. Yeah, So I'm happy those days are behind him.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
So he's gotten to a point now that we're comfortable,
you know, where we drafted him and where we're putting
him in lineups. Guys that you're not comfortable putting in
line up solo quan Which which of those guys that.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
The Florio listed are you, you know, on board with it?
Maybe not on board with.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
I'm sad to see my guy John new Smith as
a sit Florio. I mean we're we're trying to get
him back to top five, right, Like, that's my guy.
I mean the Blonde Bandit might make a return if
John new Smith scores this weekend, Like I'll go blonde
if he scores a touchdown this week against the Packer.
So I'm kind of upset to see him as a
sit this week.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
For you?

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Was it Harold Fan Jr. Who was the player this year?
You said you would die your hair blonde?

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Harrow Fan and Jr. It was right, and we are
far off.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Thankfully, Joe Fla is elsewhere, so I don't have to
worry about that.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Flaco's gone.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
You're you're pretty much done with that now in total points,
I'm just all right now, don't put it in the universe.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Hey, he's.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
There's like a fourteen point gap, thirteen point gap between
him and Travis Kelton.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Now he's gonna have a blow up week.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
I think Travis Kelsey goes big this week against the Commanders,
So maybe that.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Helps you the bit. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
We'll see anyway for more starts and since you can
always go to NFL dot com slash start and sit
for more analysis on all of these guys there. In
the meantime, ditch Taste Buzz Ready time for some spicy
hot takes for Week eight. Now the moment that Florida
has been waiting for seeing why Lakwan made the.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Bold prediction that he did, Please please.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Go hey, we got to check her tone when we
talk about this Carolina and Panthers defense.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Now, this is a.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Top ten defense, and the last two games Josh Allen
has played, we've kind of seen him be the turnover machine.
So all the DST folks out there who still have
that as a slot option, I have a bold prediction
this week that the Panthers defense are going.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
To put up big points.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
When we look at Josh Allen struggling against the Patriots,
struggling against the Falcons also top ten defenses. I don't know, man,
the Panthers are sneaky sleeper that might be able to
be fixing your bipocalypse if you're in a DST situation.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
All right, so the parently I've been noticing, though you
can't necessarily just talk it. Last year we could target
the Panthers pretty much for anything, especially running backs.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
I've been quite so easy to pick on the Panthers,
for sure. Josh Allen's go I'm just selling you. He
coming off with two losses in his career is undefeated.
The Bills. You have to go back a decade to
the last time they lost coming off of body.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Say, two losses in a row and a buy and
the Panthers don't generate pressure.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
That was what the Falcons did that got to him.
All right, we'll see, all.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Right, those two turnovers in the red zone is kind
of questionable. Better lock in, all right, Floryda, what is
your bold prediction.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
The week that we've all been waiting for, our favorite
running back named after our favorite cowboy is going to
break out, because that's actually Woody Marks is named after
Woody the Cowboy. But Woody Mars goes for one hundred
plus yards and a touchdown because we saw last week
what we wanted to see, right, he was getting a
lot of those snaps.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
He was getting most.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Of the work on the ground and through the air
and in the red zone. The thing is, the Texan
zone line is bad, and the Seahawks were able to
hit him quickly behind the line.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
All of that.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Since the Nicko Bolsa injury, not only are the forty
nine Ers allowing nearly five yards per carry, they're in
the top six in yards allowed after contact. So I
think that Woody Marx will will be able to take
that volume that he saw last week and have a
more productive day against just what is a very depleted
forty nine Ers defense.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah. I don't hate that at all, you know, I
think especially I think the other part of it too,
maybe not so much rushing, but catching the football with
no uh no Christian Kirk, no, Nico Collins.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Yeah, that's certainly in the realm of is there. It
was forty one or said I. I just don't listen
to I don't listen to him anymore. It doesn't even
matter yet the new button ready, I don't care. I
don't care. As terrible against a run.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
My look, you what who says that your team can't
cover tight ends or running quarterbacks?

Speaker 4 (26:54):
So like, yeah, hey, I'm realistic though. I'm realistic though.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
But I realistic too.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
I told you, I like this team doesn't handle the run. Well,
it's fine.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Three way time for first place in your guys division.
This is and then and then the Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Anyway, for me, my vote prediction is Bijon Robinson has
a huge day. Two hundred scrimmage yards and a pair
of touchdowns. You got the guy who is the best
running back or the best player in the NFL according
to Raheem Morris. Going against the worst run defense in
the NFL according to math, that seems like a recipe

(27:30):
for magic to happen.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Has been great.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
He's averaging about seven yards per touch. He's actually second
on the team in receiving yards, behind Drake London. The
Dolphins pretty much anyway you slice it, are bad defensively
against running backs. Whether it's running, whether it's catching the football,
all of that has been bad. So I expect that
Bejon Robinson is going to absolutely eat now.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
That you weren't starting him. You're absolutely starting him anyway.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
But this feels like a huge, huge blow up week
for Bashan.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Getting to the point where like that's still a big game,
but it's like all right, you know, like like Bijon
like like a normal game.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
If he puts up one hundred and a touchdown. It's
no longer impressive.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
You're like, oh, yeah, that's just that's just what he does. Yeah,
that's just the thing that he does. Anyway, those are
our hot takes.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
That is it. We are done.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
You know the drill.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Tell two friends to tell two friends rate review and
remember you'll never feel so alone. Then when you're trying
to put sunscreen on your own back, be safe to
take care of yourselves. Enjoy Week eight, everybody.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
We'll talk to you again on Monday.
