Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, hey everybody, welcome to another edition of the NFL
Fantasy Football Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It's me and your man, MG Marcus Grant, joined by
Michael F. Florio and Lakwan Jones. Welcome to Week six.
We are about a third of the way. I don't
know what's a third of seventeen, Like, that's exactly where
we're at. Yeah, yeah, that's what it is. Thanks for you,

(00:34):
Thank you NFL for making the math more difficult. When
it was sixteen games. You can kind of slice it
up a little bit better. Seventeen doesn't divide into anything. Wait,
are the prime number? What is that? Anyway? I got
a lot to talk about here on the show today,
a lot of starts in sins, which of course you
can go to NFL dot com slash starts sit for
more information about that. But we have the starts and
sins for week six, plus we pit a pair of

(00:55):
chief past catchers against each other and our bold predictions
for the So let's get started with the starts. And
since we'll start at the quarterback position. Florio, you write
this every week, who is up and who is down?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Dak Prescott is playing at a tremendous level right now,
even in a what The Panther secondary doesn't get enough credit.
They are tough, but Dak is still in play. Jordan
Love is an absolute must start against the Cincinnati Bengals.
I really like Drake May against a Saints team that
does not create a lot of pressure. Matthew Stafford, I mean,
I don't know how you get away given what the
Ravens defense has been. And then Justin Herbert. I know

(01:30):
their O line hasn't been great, but the Dolphins have
struggled to get after the quarterback. And then my sis,
Justin Fields. This one hurts, but they give up pressure
at the highest rate by far in the league. The
Broncos are top two and pressure generated. Aaron Rodgers. Sorry, Quab,
but he's been kind of running hot touchdown wise, and
I don't want to play him against the really tough
Browns defense. Sam Darnold has coming off his best game,

(01:53):
but before that he was more of a floor play.
And the Jags secondary is still not getting enough credit.
And then Trevor Lawrence because I feel obligated to include
him on this list.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I mean like he's moved up in the middle meter though,
so he was gone from T low to meet T
mid but a tough matchup for him against these Seahawks
this week. But Lakwan's go back to the start side
of things. Drake May. Florio has often said he sees
Drake May as sort of maybe not Josh Allen two
point zero, but that he's got some Josh Allen vibes
to him, and he went out and did a Josh

(02:23):
Allen impersonation last week against the Bills. Are we just
getting to a point where Drake May is just legitimately
a QB one that we got to start every week?

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I mean yeah, just watching him play man like we
need to get what happened last season out of her heads.
Like it was a disaster last season. Right now, we're
looking like at a guy that is second in NFL
behind Jared Golf in completion percentage. We're looking at it
a guy that's making some big boy throws. He's top
five in yards per ten Like guys, I know, last
season's bad, but he is bawling this season. He has

(02:53):
more passing yards per game than Patrick Mahomes. Justin Herbert,
Josh Allen. These are star study guys, and Drake May
is doing everything he can to protect the ball with
only two interceptions, so the rushing upside and him finding
the enzone. Man Drake May has been nothing but great
for QB one status in my Francy rosters at least.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
So your Sea league for Drake Man. Can he get
to top ten, top eight by the end of the.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Year, Yeah, I definitely think. I don't know if he
could get to the like the Alan mahomes Lamar Fields
Daniels that top five because those guys run so much
more than he does. But after that, I think he
can match the upside of anyone because like he's shown
all these flashes at times. But now he's got a
coaching staff that knows how to build a team around him.

(03:40):
He's got Stefan Diggs, some other pieces, Trevion So yeah,
it's just a much better situation and he could play
like I think he has shown us that from day
one that he could hold his own in this league.
He just needed a little seasoning and he needed a
little bit of help around him.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yeah, I mean it's definitely coming together and it definitely helps,
you know, upgrading the wider living room.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Stephan Marcus, would you believe that he has a better
start than the Tom Brady because like, if we look
at the quarterbacks and Patriots franchise history, in the first
eighteen games played, he has the highest completion percentage and
he also has the highest passer rating among all Patriots quarterbacks.
This is Drew Bletsoe on that list. There's Mac Jones

(04:20):
as well, and Tom Brady on that list. So Drake
May and his first eighteen starts, he's balling.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Man, Well, I would I would believe it simply because
you know, while we remember the you know, kind of
mid to late career Tom Brady early career, Tom Brady
was a game manager. It was like, hey man, just
you know, make some throws, don't screw this up. And
it was sort of after a few years that he
morphed into this big time passing quarterback. All I took
away from that is that Drake May is the future goat.

(04:45):
Like start betting that gold jacket. Get ready to get
it ready? U mean, while the quant up in Seattle,
Sam Donald a good game last week and a back
and forth game against the Buccaneers, he did throw a
late interception that sort of cost the Seahawks any faith
he can do this again. I guess a Jags defense
that has been pretty tough this year.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Yeah, I mean, look, Fleurio said that the Jacks defense
not getting enough credit. Man, I mean the lead in
the league in takeaways. But honestly, I have Sam Donald
started in a couple of leagues. Man, I gotta be honest.
I'm looking at this Jags defense he had. They're great
at taking the ball away, but they're also allowing the
most downfield throws. And we know Sam Donald when he
gets in his bag, he's one of the best downfield throwers.
He has a seventy one completion percentage on downfield throws,

(05:29):
and no other quarterback in the league right now has
over sixty five percent. We've seen Sam Donald fight his
way out of a tight spot. We've seen this offense
hit that switch to be a very pass happy offense
when the run game ain't going. So I do think
JSN bawling Sam Donald has always been him downfield. I'm
gonna take the chances that they make some big plays
in this game, being that we know how tough this

(05:51):
Jags defense can be at times.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Well, it also helps with those downfield throws when Jackson
Smith and Jigbud is like going up in mossing people too,
and just like making that ridiculous contested catches like we
saw Baker.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
We saw Baker put up three seventy on this same defense,
two touchdowns, and I think him and Baker are cut
from the same cloth, like they had to go through
the trenches in Carolina. So I do think a lot
of folks written them off, and they're balling right now.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
All right, So maybe there is hope for slamming Sammy Darnold.
We'll see sure. Over the running backs, Floya, who are
your starts and who are your sits? For Week six?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Quinn Shaw Juckkins is just like I know it's a
tough matchup. He's had nothing but tough matchups, and he
just continues to come through for fantasy Rico Daddell in
the ultimate revenge spot, like he keeps warning the Cowboys
to be ready. I think JK. Dobbins is one of
the safest running backs and I think his ceiling is
even higher this week. Bill coming off a breakout game.

(06:42):
When I was putting the list together Sunday afternoon, I
was like, Bill is going to be a sneaky start
this week, and then he went off for his career
game and then I love that we call him by
their first names here, Remadre and Trevion. I think both
of them are in plays at the very least as
flex options in what could be a favorable game script
for them. And then this sits spicy on the CITs
this week. I have Dereck Henry as a sit because

(07:05):
of what the Ravens offense looked like last week and
how defenses are allowed to just put all of their
attention on Derreck Henry. Plus I don't want to say
he's declining, but he might be declining. Alvin Kamara I
have the same concerns, and the Patriots are a really
good run defense. I don't think they get enough credit.
Only the Browns have allowed fewer yards per carry. They
just shut down James Cook speaking of the best run

(07:27):
defense in football, that's the Browns, which is why I
have Jalen Warren as a sit. I also think it's
possible we see a little bit more Kenneth Gainwell after
that monstrous game he had before thereby Pacheco. They're just
splitting the work way too much. If you start any
Chiefs running back, I think it should be Kareem Hunk
because he last gets goal on work and then Chase Brown.
The Packers defense is so tough. Maybe Joe Flacco dumps

(07:49):
it off to him a bunch, but that's what you're
hoping for if you start him.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, we'll get it to Derek Henry just a little bit.
But I wanted to start LaQuan with the Patriots side
of things. We talked about this earlier in the week.
I know I keep kind of harping on this thing,
but eventually, eventually Travia Fantasy has to do things right.
I mean, we don't remind you, remind you to get
his touches because it just seems like the Patriots can't

(08:14):
quit him. But like even like the running out of people,
like they have to give the ball to Travion, right,
they have to. They have to.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Man. I know I'm not the only one that's fitting
that the crash out because of this situation. Having Trevion
Henderson on a lot of rosters, high value investment in
drafts is summer on him. But my problem is, man, honestly,
is that there's nearly twenty percent of the snaps on
the table. Antonio Gibson out for the for the season. Right,
if we go into this game and that doesn't get

(08:42):
distributed to Travion Henderson, then I don't know what else
we can do, Like I don't know other week, like
after this week, I would have to reevaluate. This matchup
should be on the paper right now for Trevion Henderson
to show up, show out and do everything that we
saw over the summer with all these beat reporters filling
the fantasy streets with these electric videos, we have yet
to see that outside a week one, He's actually has

(09:04):
fewer explosive plays than Antonio Gibson and Stevenson, a lower
yards per carry than Antonio Gibson and Stevenson. So again,
this needs to be a statement game for Trevion Henderson.
Get the ball, get upfield, and I want to see
the timeline in all caps. It's Trevon Henderson's season.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
I said the early in the week, like I don't
need him to like take the lead and like just
run away with it. I just I just want him
to get opportunity.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Yeah so far, And I did say it on the
show yesterday, like he is also a part of the problem.
He needs to be better, especially on inside carries and stuff.
But two things one where one hundred percent gonna be
back here next week even if he flops, because they
get the Titans. And two.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Mike Rabral was asked about Romandre Stevens fumbling and he
was like, well, maybe we shouldn't let him get blown
up so much by like other guys. I'm like, what
like you're making You're blaming your O line now for
Remandre fumbling?

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Like that gave me a lot of concern. I mean,
that's a guy and going downfield and fumbling. No, it
is all not like they're all behind the line of
scrimmage like I mean, this.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Guy hates Trevion that That was my takeaway.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Man, that's a tough scene, clearly not his draft choice scene.
On the other side of things, Florio has Dereck Henry
as a sit and yeah, I think you know, if
you're not paying attention, that seems kind of crazy and spicy.
But LaQuan, it's a thing, as you know, I know
you like to quote the fantasy streets. It's a thing.
I'm hearing a lot on the fantasy streets that maybe
it is time to get away from Derrick Henry right now.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Yeah, you guys know, I will not be held hostage
because of a big name in fantasy, like guys like
Derrick Henry Jamar Hase. I'm not afraid to sit in
these guys. I mean, Derrick Henry on paper looks like
he has the matchup against my Rams, but they made
huge improvements this summer on stopping the run. We've kept
guys out at the end zone as well, and Saquon Barkley,
Jonathan Taylor, and Christian McCaffrey on the forty miners. Like,

(10:54):
I do think at the end of the day, this
is an uphill battle for Derrick Henry to put this
team on his back. This at this age, man, come on,
he ain't on the Titans no more. So. I do
feel like not having Lamar it just makes it easier
to put Derek Henry on the bench this week.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I don't think I didn't hear what you said anyway,
What did I say, is Derek Henry? I mean? Is
this is this a decline Florio or is it just
like the Ravens offense is bad.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
I think it's a little of each, right, Like I
think if Lamar's out there and the Ravens O line
is healthy, we could see Derek hen look like he
showed us in week one, like he still has that
in his bag, but he's had a really bad luck
schedule wise of facing some tough defenses. But I go
back to what he looked like his last year in Tennessee,
where we started to be like, maybe the best is

(11:42):
behind him, maybe like like the decline is coming. Now
we're seeing him in that kind of situation again where
he has to carry a whole offense. I think he
can be a fantastic number two in an offense, like
because Lamar obviously is there one who defenses are planning around.
But I think it's a lot at this age with

(12:03):
this much wear and tear to and the rams like
they don't allow much yards before contact. That was an
issue last week for Derrick Henry and it has been
for the last month as well. So that's partly why
I'm also scared off by him.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, I mean I certainly in the short term, you know,
until Lamar Jackson gets back game script's gonna be an issue.
We see a lot of Justice Hill in those passing situations.
It's all bad right now for Derek Hemmy. Maybe it's better,
but for now it's pretty much all bad. Tyna check
out the first to score odds for the Lions and
Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, Javiir Gibbs, David Montgomery, Sonic

(12:34):
and Knuckles atop of the board. There, Kareem Hunt, you
mentioned him. Florio is the guy that maybe you want
out of that Kansas City backfield. He and Aman Ross
Saint Brown with equal odds to score the first touchdown
of the ball game. But let's get into those games specifically, Lakwan,
Let's say you are you know of the DFS persuasion,

(12:54):
want to put together a daily fantasy lineup and you're
looking at this game, would you rather put in Taekwon
Thornton in your lineup?

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Oh? I'm thinking the budget would be on Taekwon Thornton, right, Like,
I do think it's a little bit more fun to
roll out the big plays when you're doing DFS, And
I think, honestly, looking at the last couple of weeks,
three out of the last five games, he's outscored Brown
in fantasy points. Man and look, Thornton leads all wide
receivers in deep targets. Mahomes will force that deepot to
get it to him, and it don't matter what down

(13:24):
it is. They are going to force it down there.
Until they make that connection.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
They could be.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
First down, third down, to fourth down, It does not matter.
Man Mahomes likes to get him involved on that deepot.
Now the Lions defense and maybe a little tough matchup
on the back end, but they have calls the most
at the highest rate three and out, so it's gonna
be hard to convert for Patrick Mahomes. But Mahomes has
his legs, his ability to extend the play. The Lion's
defense are gonna have a lot on their plate against

(13:49):
this offense.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yeah, I think you know it's gonna be the like, look,
Aiden Hutchinson's gonna be there trying to get pressure on him.
Patrick Mahomes can be so frustrating just because he can
run around, he can get out of the pocket. Either
make the throwdown field or we'll just take off and
run for you know, twelve fifteen yards.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
He is a magician.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
He's easily one of the most frustrating.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Game He's running like it's the playoffs now. It's made
him an elite fantasy option once again.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah. Absolutely, and he gets re Rice back next week,
so gets fired us. Like, man, I mean a.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Lot of teams with Rashee Rice sitting on there.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Gonna get the chiefs man. The time to get the
chiefs is now because once Rashi Rice comes back, who knows, man,
it could be wheels up for that Kansas City offense
when we come back. We got a pair of Monday
Night games to get into, maybe some big names that
we were worried about or hoping for more that and
some more starts and sets for wide receivers and tight ends.
That's coming up next on the NFL Fantasy Football Show.

(14:43):
We got another Monday night double header. In fact this
week and next week. I believe it might potentially be
the last Monday Night double hitters in the history of ever. Really. Yeah,
once new TV deals and media conglomerations, I really like
to Monday Night games. I'm I'm a mixed to onions
about it. But anyway, that's neither here nor this.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
This Monday Night is going at least for me, it's
going to be fun.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
All these decisions are made well above our pay grade,
so whatever.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Anyway, the first Monday Night game is the Bills and Falcons.
You can see that seven to fifteen pm Eastern time
on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. I'm you being the resident
Bills fan here. Obviously, James Cook having a fantastic season.
The Falcons have been pretty good against running backs this year, though.
Any worries about James Cook against the Dirty Birds.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Uh, not enough to pull from your lineup or anything
like that. Maybe you expect a little bit of a
reduced day, but James Cook is also the kind of
back that he could break a long one at any point.
The Bills are always such a threat for touchdowns, and
he's been getting a lot of goal on usage this season.
So I have James Cook in a couple of leagues.
I'm starting him. I haven't even considered sitting him. I

(15:50):
know last week was rough. He's not someone that you
often can keep down for numerous games. And I think
this one, this is going to be the best uniform
matchup of the week. They're both wearing their throwbacks, and
two it's probably gonna be the best running back game
of this the week as well, with Bijon on the
other side.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Yeah, you have b Jeon on one side, James Cook
on the other. I've been pleasantly surprised at how much
they really want to make him kind of a workhorse
in this offense.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
They paid him and they were like, all right, fine,
we're going.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
To wild because that just has not been the way
they've used him the last few years. So, you know, definitely,
definitely happy to see that going on there in Buffalo.
The other Monday night game, it is the Bears at
the Commanders that won Monday eight to fifteen pm Eastern
on ab quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Do they have something in common?

Speaker 2 (16:34):
The two quarterbacks, Caleb Williams Jaydeon Daniels like they can't
think of it. I don't know, I don't know, maybe
each other. Maybe we can throw up a hail mary
and see if it comes down.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
It would be hilarious if Drake may was like, I
got next, like a wrestling style match or something.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Yeah, but this was the game last year that that
Jade Daniels won on the hail mary as time expired,
when we saw Tyreek Stevens and laughing, laughing and pointing
only to give up the hail mary at the end.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
But I forgot that he was laughing. I remember the
hail Mary. I forgot about what.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Kerry Stevenson was like, looking off to the side and
pointing and laughing, and then I was like, oh no,
here's play. But that has nothing to do with fantasy football.
What does have something to do with fantasy football? Laquand
is DJ Moore, who has been unimpressive to start the
season coming out of the buy Do we have greater
expectations for DJ Moore? You're hoping four more? No pun

(17:32):
intended this week.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
I don't have a middle meter, but he would be
on the d low. Like, I don't have any expectations
for him because he had his best fantasy game against
one of the worst defenses in the NFL in the
Dallas Cowboys, and if you look at three out of
his four games less than ten fantasy points, Like I
look at him as more of a decoy in this offense,

(17:55):
Like he's doing a lot of cardio out there, not
making such a huge impact that we thought he was
going to do. Bro doone say it's the wide receiver one.
So I have no type of urge or feeling to
have him in my starting lineups moving forward until I
see otherwise, Like DJ Moore is not going to bully
his way into my flex position, you know what I mean?
Even if I have buys or injuries, I honestly don't

(18:16):
know what to do as a fantasy manager with DJ
Moore right now, because you couldn't even trade him if
you want to.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
That's that's the hard part is it's hard to move him.
I'm my guess, and I don't know this for a fact,
is that Ben Johnson hopefully spent part of the bye
week trying to figure out how to get him more involved.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Because they have a player's only meeting, because I think
a lot of teams have been doing that and that's
always been effected.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
That because that that never goes wrong when you have
a players only Maybe now that's nothing bad.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I think our offense is playing well, but we need
to get Dj Moore the ball.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Mod it's just the two game winning streak man the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
That's very different. The Eagles offense has been bad and
they've been winning. The Bears offense has been pretty like
they're holding their own.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
They are they're they've they've been they've been good enough.
You know, they've been good enough so far.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Now, Yes, I think he has to worry about Luther
Burden now too, because I think the post by bump
if he could start playing more of those slot snaps
and that wide receiver three role. He's really explosive and
he could take some of those downfield targets away.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Might be a trade candidate. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Interesting if I had DJ Moore in fantasy, and I
have him on quite a few teams, I've been trying
actively to.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Get rid of him. Obviously you keep saying trying, which
means it happened.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
I did in one league, and he was a throat like.
It wasn't like a straight up DJ Moore trade. It
was like, all right, I needed a.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Quarterback and yeah, J more too, Just go and take him.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
I got three dollars in fab back in the counter
when I tried to give up.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Wow, that's not even enough to pick up.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Why'd you get a refund? That's terrible.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
While we're talking about wide receiver is good science for
us to get back to our starts and since for
the week, Florio, who are your starts and sits at
the receiver position?

Speaker 3 (20:01):
ELQ's gonna like this one. I have DeVante Adams. I
think he is a must start this week. Fantastic matchup
against the Ravens. Calvin Ridley sneakily because the Raiders have
really struggled against outside wide receivers, and they're starting to
use Ridley more downfield. Jalen Waddle looking at once again
like his old pre Tyreek Hill self. Stefan Diggs, I
think it's just a mustard. I've already taken the l there.

(20:23):
I was dead wrong ondoubting Stefon Diggs and then Tetuo
McMillan a must play this week, I think against that
Cowboys defense, given how much volume he sees. I have
Brian Thomas Junior as a sit just because the production
hasn't been there and outside of last week, the Seahawks
secondary has been tough. T Higgins. You could think Joe
Flacco is the savior all you want, but I need

(20:46):
to see it first. Jamison Williams has one good game
this year, every like last week he had less than
two Fantasy points. Keyonk Coleman. The Falcons have been tough
against the pass and the run, and I wish the
Bills just gave him more opportunity. And then Jerry Judy,
he has just been a name. Last week, Isaiah Bond
had more targets than him. Judy's averaging like seven Fantasy

(21:07):
points per game.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Right now, Yeah, like again, I think that Jerry Judy
moment was a moment in his past. I don't think
we need to chase that anymore. Ted McMillan, I've been
on the Tedda Meryl McMillan train this week, La Kwan
saying that he's not getting enough love. You know, I
don't know if you'd like to give him some love here,
I will open the floor and let you do that.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
I just want to say, is it a hot take
to say that he might have two touchdowns in this game?
I mean, look, we've been waiting for that one. I
do think this is the game it can happen. What
other defense can this happen? I mean, Bryce Shong has
struggled this entire season, but he has been ramping up
at certain moments of the game. I think this may
be a certain moment in a game where he's ramped

(21:47):
up and ready to go and show up and show
wow against his Dallas Cowboys defense. I think Tetro McMillan
is a strong start this week. Florie. I'm glad you
got him in there. I know some folks in the
fantasy streets are not true believers of Bryce Shung in
this connection showing Tetro McMillan, but Jamen Kunker's coming back
to stabilize his offense. So I do think the up
and up and arrow is gonna be on this Panthers offense.
So I do think Tetro McMillan has a big week

(22:10):
this week.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, I've liked him a lot. I've called him a sleeper.
I think we just just be paying attention to his
performance so far and what is generally a bad passing offense.
But he's still a top twenty five receiver entering week six.
On the other side, Florida's got to sit for Brian
Thomas Junior. Nobody probably misses mac Jones and Jacksonville more
than BTJ. It's just not a good matchup for him

(22:33):
this week.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Ou qu No, it just seems like it's the right move.
Like the last two weeks, we have seen improvement from
Brian Thomas Junior from a fancy standpoint, but I'm still
not sold on mid Lawrence. Like we moved up the
middle meter, but still there's questionable decisions that Trevor Lawrence
is making and this is a matchup I don't think
he has room from error. Like it's Skuy's still struggling

(22:54):
to get over two hundred and twenty passing yards in
the game. Like, I'm not sold on the one big
catch that Brian Thomas Junior had last week. It's more
so I need more of a scale of consistency, like
the Catchray is improving, the yards and big plays are improving,
but Trevor mid Lawrence is still mid. So at the
end of the day, I can't roll the dice from
Brian Thomas Junior back into starting lineup.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Shit, yeah, I just you know, I don't know. I
saw what happened on Monday night, and I'm like, I
got antsy. I don't I don't have Brian Thomas Junior
a lot of places because I felt like he was
being overdrafted, and so far that's kind of been the case.
But I saw that, I was kind of like, like, maybe, Dwight,
do I try to put Travis Hunter back in the lineup, Like,
you know.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
It annoys me so much because like he won after
the catch and then he had an amazing downfield catch
and they're like, yeah, that's it for you today, Like
that's it, but give him. Also, while we were watching
those Trevor Lawrence highlights. We just heard a he stinks
from over on behind the cameras, So that kind of
tells you what where Trevor Lawrence is at.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
That's that's where we are with him.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Should I move him down?

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Should I move him down? He deserves He's earned TA
mid at least after he's earned T mid. Let's keep
him there.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
He's almost probably the biggest Lin outside of his one
playoff win for sure.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Let's get the tight ends real quick. You're starting sets
a tight.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
End, Jake Ferguson, Please stop asking me if you should
start him. He is the best tight end in Fantasy
right now and it is a fantastic matchup. I feel
the same way about Tyler Warren. Every week I get
a couple of questions like should I start? Yes, And
it's a good matchup as well for him. Darren Waller
I just think is back. He's the number two target
for the Dolphins. He's the go to guy in the
red and end zone. Evan Ingram starting to get more

(24:26):
and more volume, and the Jets are weaknesses against the slot.
He leads them and slops slot snaps and then Mark Andrews.
Because Lakwan says it every week, that the Rams cannot
guard tight ends. I am putting that to the test,
and then the sitts Juwan Johnson with the Saints spreading
the ball out more, he hasn't really been producing as
of late. Hald Fan and Junior did catch a touchdown

(24:47):
last week, but we saw David and Joku start to
get used more over him. Kyle Pitts Sr. The Bills
have been really tough against tight ends this year. And
then Kada and I know he's coming off of a
big game. It's his first BI game of the year
and his floor is legitimately zero Fantasy points.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
All right, Evan Ingram Lakwan, I like him as a
sleeper this week. Is Sean Payton going to make me
look silly?

Speaker 4 (25:11):
Yes, because if he made me look silly, he's gonna
make you look silly, Marcus. But I do think Evan
Ingram could be a sleeper. But I'm just not sold yet.
This guy has yet to carve out a role consistently
on a week to week basis. I do think twelve
catches ninety five yards in a touchdown in five games,
it's kind of nasty work for the amount of hype
that he was getting from Sean Payton himself to be

(25:31):
the joker of this offense. He's competing with Courtland Sutton
in the Twins, Okay, Troy Franklin and Marvin Mins. Like,
I don't understand where this is going to come. Where
Evan Ingram carves out a roll this late or not
this late, but at this point of the season. But
he's been banged up a couple drops. I'm still not
sold that he has carved out a fantasy relevant type
of position to be in my starting lineup.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
So when Sean Payton called him a joker, he met
the jokes on us. What that was?

Speaker 4 (25:56):
No, he meant the joker that we disliked, the Muller.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
The Jared let Jared Letto was good, Jared Letto Joe.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
See, that's not the point. We're supposed to like the character.
We didn't like him. So the movie's bad Jack forever.
No tomorrow, we're gonna have leasure.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
We'll go half the Heath Ledger. That's fine. Juwan Johnson
is a sid. I'm maybe I'm maybe I'm I'm reaching
back to your past weeks too much. I like him
this week, but I don't know. You break the tie
on this one out qu Juwan Johnson yea or nay
against the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
I gotta sit him too. This one hurts because I'm
just like you, Marcus, Like you look at the early
season production. You see the highs that he can have,
but the last couple of weeks his production has fell
and even his snaps. I know he's banged up right now,
but that guy tastes him hill Man. He is coming
back and it's starting to be annoying to see him
back on the field, and he's taken away opportunities for
Jawan Johnson. But hopefully he can get healed up and

(26:57):
get back to that production that we saw because he
was the top option for Spencer Rattler the Rattlesneak three sixteen. Man,
I do think that Raler just looks a little bit
more comfortable with Juwan Johnson. But if he's banged up
not playing up to part, then you gotta put him
on the bench.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Man.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Yeah, probably right, but I'm still trying to believe. But yeah,
that Taysom Hill factor. That's gross. Do not like, dude.
It wants it ruins everything, ruins everything. Yep. Time to
get some milk and bread. We got our spicy takes
coming up for Week six. LQ get spicy if you
don't mind.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
Now listen, I'm just gonna keep this short and sweet
man dvon Han gets his first one hundred yard game
this season on the ground. Now listen. The Chargers they
have the highest mistackle rate, also allowing the third most
explosive runs to running backs this season. So I think
Devon hen clearly shown he could utilize his feet and
be very slippery in between those tackles and bouncing outside

(27:51):
and getting a field. If the Chargers are gonna be
allowed this guy to get loose, I think he puts
his foot in the ground and puts up one hundred
yards in a big fantasy week this week.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
All right, So I was very shocking myself. This chen
had not had a hundred yard rushing game this season,
but then not quite a hundred. Yeah, Florida hot take
for the week.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
We're just giving love to the the AFC East today.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Apparently.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
I think the Patriots will have a top ten player
at every position quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end.
I'll even throw in defense if you want. Because the
Saints they do not generate pressure they have not been
getting after the quarterback Drake may is top five in
EPA when not under pressure. Stefan Diggs is looking like

(28:34):
his old self again. He is not human. Hunter Henry
is always a safe bet for some targets. I wouldn't
be surprised if he catches a touchdown this week and
then one of these two running backs is gonna be
top ten. It'll probably be Ramandre Stevenson, but my heart
wants it to be Traveon Henderson. And in my actual
Bowl prediction for NFL dot Com, Travion was the one

(28:54):
that I called.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Because how are the tongs don't put in the universe? Florio,
Ye say it again? Never again, Bro.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
We know Mike does not care what I have to say.
I will promise you that we know how.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
This is gonna go. For sure. My hot take for
the week, Matthew Stafford gonna go for thirty plus points
this week. The Rams throwing the ball a lot more
than I think Sean McVay is probably comfortable with. But
for the most part it's actually working out. Stafford averaging
three hundred passing yards per game over a full season.
It would be a career high fifty one hundred yards
for Matthew Stafford if this keeps up. But on top

(29:26):
of that, the Ravens defense. He here's the thing about it,
it's bad. They are beat up. They're not playing well.
They're giving up a ton of yards through the air.
They've given up the most passing touchdown so far this season.
So I think Stafford has another big game. He's had
a very good start to the season. I think that
continues this week against the Baltimore You know that's growth.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
The podcast this week started with you just annihilating the Rams.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
It ends with you.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Talking them up.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Look, man again, I can I can be positive. I
can be objective about things. Uh it's the other It
is the other person on this s who is you know, uncapable,
incapable of actually saying positive things about all thirty franchises here.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
Listen, I can say positive things about your forty winers.
But it's only the place.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
That right there, that right there, that right.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
There, staying energy, Buddy, I ain't changing because we lost
Week ten. Line it up running back.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
We're gonna have another friendly wager on this show.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
We ten enjoy writing.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
Another loser has to wear the rival jerseys.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
That's fine. I mean you're that's fine. I mean, you're
good at writing poems. We can always try that again too. Anyway,
that's about time for us to pull the shoot on
this with That is it. We are done. We appreciate
