Speaker 1 (00:04):
What's up everybody? Welcome to the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
It's me your man, MG. Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F.
Floyo and Lakwan Jones. Burgfast Burkefest Brikfest is back. It
just makes me when I say it really fast, it
sounds like breakfast.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
It does it? Actually does?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
I get hungry every.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Time I say it. Yeah, Burgfast.
Speaker 4 (00:21):
What do they call it in Ireland?
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Probably Wednesday speak English like we do. For those of
you who are who haven't been here for earlier episodes
of the show. Burgfest is basically the German word for
hump day, which is where we are now. It is
a Wednesday, which means we are turning the page from
week three, getting ready for Week four.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
A lot to do on the show.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
We're looking at some of the more intriguing showdowns of
the week, also giving you our confidence level for Patrick
Mahomes and Baker Mayfield in tough matchups.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Plus got our sleepers and Club Dub is back.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
We're opening the doors again our Club Dub picks for
the week. Whold lot going on on the show today,
But first let's get star as we normally do with
some fantasy headlines.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
And we will start in the Big Apple or Jersey either.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
One Giants have announced that they are starting Jackson Dart
the rookie this week against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
On top of that, they.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
They being the front office and coaching staff of the
New York Football Giants saying that Dart is going to
be their starter form the remainder.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Of the season. So, Florida, the last we saw off
Russell Wilson, it was bad. It was very bad.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Does this change your outlook on you know my Lague Neighbors,
Wandelle Robinson, all the skill position guys there in New York.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
It wasn't bad if you were the security guard who
caught that pass, right, Like, you're gonna tell that story
for the rest of your life. I think this is
nothing but a good thing. Look, I know we too,
was a liar because they got to play the Cowboys,
and every quarterback who has played the Cowboys looked good.
Start Jordan Love this week, like the Cowboys are the
best matchup for quarterbacks. And I get it, But you
watched Sunday night and you saw not only that final
(02:00):
drive that everyone is talking about, but like he almost
got Melak Neighbors killed on a ball.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Into the end zone, where like, what are we doing there?
Speaker 5 (02:08):
And in fact, I keep making this joke, but I'm
actually serious when I say it. Like the happiest I
have seen Malik Neighbors as a giant is when he
was linking up with Jackson dark in preseason.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Dark Kid throw the deep ball.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
He had the most deep yards on most yards on
deep passes in college last year.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
He can run.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
I think he brings upside, but more than anything, he's
going to develop with Milik Neighbors. I think this is
a good thing for this year and for long term.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Neighbors seem to not want to play with Daniel Jones
last year, Daniel Doones. Daniel Doones.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
This feels like, I be careful what you wish for,
because then he ended up getting Russell Wilson and it
was probably worse.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
At least Melak Neighbors is healthy. There are a lot
of guys around the league right now that cannot say
the same, including guys that are gonna have a big
impact on your fantasy week this week. Commanders wide receiver
Terry McLaurin dealing with a quad injury. At this point,
his status is unclear. For Week four against the Raiders.
Ceed Lamb, we know he's gonna miss at least two
games as he is dealing with a high ankle sprain.
(03:07):
Mike Evans going to miss multiple games as he deals
with a hamstring injury. And a couple of running backs
out for the season. James Connor I was gonna have
surgery on his foot now, Gee Harris suffered a torn achilles.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
So those guys unavailable to you for the remainder of
the year.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Now, we didn't even mentioned the fact that Tyrone Tracy
also has a shoulder injury that's gonna keep.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Him out for multiple weeks as well.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
But looking at those wide receivers, Lakwan, you know, we
know Lamb and Evans are out. Not sure about Terry McLaurin.
If you've got one of those guys, any options for
people to pivot to, like on the waiver wire or
on their bench or something.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Right now, it's rough in the fantasy streets right now,
but I do think you're gonna have to lean on
your boomer bus guys, Guys that you picked up with
the waiver wire that have those high ceilings that showed
some life, because it's not really many options out there
that you could pivot to. If a Eliciu Manor is
on the waiver wire, I'm gonna go pick him up.
Back to back weeks, he's been productive. You had double
digit Fantasy points from there. There may be an uptick
(04:00):
with Tennessee with new play calling. I do think Christian
Kirk wildly underrated right now, and I think him coming
out of the healing pod, he should be looking at
a guy that you picking up generating eight targets out
of rehab. So I like, I'll get to him a
little bit later in the show of his opportunities, but
there is some options you could pivot to this week.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, Kristen Kirk, I feel like it's forgotten, and especially
with a Houston team that needs somebody besides just Nico Collins. Yeah,
there's opportunity there for him. On the other side, those
running backs, you know, I have a roster My Fantasy
Live team lost it lost James Connor, Ceedee Lamb, and
Najee Harris.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Thank you. I needed to win bad.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
This is awesome.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
It was rough man.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
But if folks are out there trolling like waivers for
running back any suggestions for them.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
It's hard to get someone that you can plug in
right away. But if you do need one, I would
say the Commander's running backs, either Chris Rodriguez or Jeremy
McNichols are out there and getting touches. But if you
just want someone that, like you could plug someone in
that you had on bench, let's say, and you want
depth that has upside. I think Woody Marx is a
great stash right now. He pretty much split snaps with
(05:07):
the Nick Chubb last week. I think we're starting to
see him get more and more involved. Olie Gordon another
good stash there, and low key Rico Dowdell played a
lot more than I think people realize.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Interesting, yeah, sting.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah. Also, I in one league was hurting for options.
I went Kenneth gain Well, just he's getting, He's getting,
He's getting snaps and touches behind Jalen Warren. Right, I mean,
Caleb Johnson's not a thing in Pittsburgh right now. I'm
not look, I'm not excited about it. I'm just telling you,
you know, you do, you do what you gotta do.
At some point when I'm on the waiver wire, time
(05:40):
to check out the first to score odds for this
week Seahawks Cardinals matchup on T and F Kenneth Walker
Trey Benson with equal odds to score the first touchdown,
followed by Zach sharponay Uh, then Trey McBride and Jackson
Smith in Jigbo with similar odds to score the first touchdown,
which Lakwan you and I were joking that it's gonna
be like Elijah.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yes, it's gonna be somebody that's gonna be very annoying.
You know, I don't have him, Like, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
They're gonna bring Jaylen Milroe off the bench to run
a quarterback snake or something like that, and people are
gonna be salty about it out Chap.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
That's why they call uh.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Anyway, Tuckie turned into the actual game on the field
there floyal Kenneth Walker didn't see much of him in
Week one. Weeks two and three, he's been a lot
more productive a pair of touchdowns last week. The Cardinals
through three weeks of the season have the number four
run defense in the NFL. Do you trust Kenneth Walker
against this Cardinals defense?
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (06:32):
I think the Cardinals are just they've they've had a
favorable schedule, right Like they played the Panthers in the
Saints the first two weeks game script was very much
still on their defensive side.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
I don't expect that.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
To be the case this week.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
And Kenneth Walker, I'm happy we're getting to see him
do exactly that outside zone runs where that is where
he can shine and use his explosiveness.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
I do want to monitor what it.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
Looks like with Zach Sharboney back this week, but uh yeah,
Kenneth Walker, I think it's far too explosive and too good.
The upside is too high. Like I'm starting him and
I have him on a couple of teams. I haven't
even considered sitting him all.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Right, So Kenneth Walker back in the mix. Meanwhile, on
the other side, we still haven't seen the big Marvin
Harrison games that we were promised when he was drafted.
Maybe on a Monday show we can have a longer
conversation about exactly what's going wrong there. But in the
short term, if you're looking at it this week, what
are you doing with Marvin Harrison? By the number sees
(07:28):
the wide receiver one, but he's not doing much of anything.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
He's the wide receiver one, but not the number one
option of that offense. Like, I don't think folks are
ready to have that Kyler Murray conversation yet, but I'm
gonna just let that one cook. But Marvin Harrison needs
to make those big plays when he gets those opportunities.
I think on a short week, this isn't the matchup
that I think they turn it around and figure it out,
because I think, honestly, looking at Kyler not throwing downfield
(07:53):
in the middle of the field where Marvin Harrison's being designed,
Why is the offensive coordinator putting him in the middle
of the field If you know you're a guy is
not gonna throw it. This offense is obviously gonna run
through Trey McBride, and I think a lot of fantasy
managers need to accept that when having Marvin Harrison, because
you don't have any bench players that have that same
ceiling that he brings.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah, I just you know, it's funny that I'm curious
how this offense pivots. If they just plug Trey Benson
in and make him the James Connor, or if they
find other options they it's.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Year three with this offense. It's nothing different. They didn't
do anything in the offseason that indicated for us to
feel like there was going to be a change here,
So like kind of gotta eat it. You gotta put
him in.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Marvin Harrison as Swoll. Now here are.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
We still doing the the swol squads and biceps to
raise ADPs?
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Ohl season man best shape of his life.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Stop right dive into some other intriguing matchups in Week four, including,
as we mentioned, a trip to Ireland. The Vikings and
Steelers heading to the Emerald Isle. They will play in
Dublin at Croke Park. You can see that game Sunday
nine thirty am Eastern on NFL Network and on NFL Plus.
Jordan Madison back after three game suspension. Carson Wentz still
(09:02):
at quarterback. Do you trust Jordan Addison in his return?
Speaker 2 (09:06):
No?
Speaker 5 (09:07):
No, no, Like, look, he might have a good game,
I'm not saying he won't, but backup quarterback in an
overseas game, first game back has never played with this
quarterback because when when Addison was there practicing in the preseasoning,
it was with McCarthy. You know, So like, yeah, I
think there's far too much volatility here. And say what
(09:28):
you will about the Steelers, they can get after the
quarterback a little bit and the Vikings have been allowing
pressure and sacks at a top three rate in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, Jordan Asen was one of those guys where you
know again was with JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Where he kept falling in drafts. I'm like, oh, take
a shote.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
I think you're cool having him on your ross, but
I need to see it a little bit before I
just get him in my starting line.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
That's that's fair for sure.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
I'm a little bit closer to where we are exactly
right on the other side of the street from there,
the Colts and the Rams in the the new hotness
around the NFL right now. I'm okay, I'm gonna say
I did not put the order of who I was
asking these questions to. I believe Lakwan was one who
did that. So you you set yourself up for this, sir.
(10:14):
Do we keep starting Daniel Indiana Jones this week against
the Rams defense?
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Listen, man, I'm gonna put my Rams hat on for
a second. There's two things I do I do actually,
all right, I'm just saying. We struggle against tight ends.
They have a top three tight end in the league
right now. We struggle against mobile quarterbacks that has been
no secret. And Daniel Jones has the magic to slide
in and out of that pocket and get a field
and when you have his checkdowns being JT and Tyler Warren,
(10:41):
these are gonna be two areas that the Rams need
to pay attention to. But I do think when you
look at the floor, guess who had their best game
in Indie with Anthony Richardson with twenty nine Fantasy points
in all starting lineups against the Rams. So I do
think that is the ceiling for Daniel Jones of how
great he's been playing. So I do think Dan Jones
it's in my starting lineups. If I have a quarterback
(11:02):
coming off an injury, I don't know if he grabbed
the keys from Daniel Jones, because at the end of
the day, Danny is balling.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
You know, when I put together my list of sleepers,
because you've said to us before, just privately, that the
Rams struggled with with rushing quarterbacks, and I wanted to
put Daniel Jones on my sleepers list. And I'm like,
he's the QB three right now. Yeah, it seems weird,
like I can't I can't call him a sleeper when
he's like a tough.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
T have him as a sit this week because you
guys generate a lot of pressure, and being about Daniel
Jones is he crumbles under pressure?
Speaker 2 (11:30):
All right?
Speaker 3 (11:30):
I mean you've been not blitzed that boy. He's been
the highest blitzer rate he's been facing, and he's been
balling like there's nothing. Well, there's nothing that can to
crack him in Indy. Married he didn't do it much last.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Week though, like he didn't have to have to. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
The other part of this is you also have to
dedicate a lot of resources to Jonathan Taylor to which
opens some other things up too.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
So I'm hopeful for that. It's just Tyler.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
The Colts are much more of a problem than I
think we anticipated at this point in the season before
he had to break one last one Ravens at Chiefs. Weirdly,
one of these teams is going to be one in
three three when this game is over. Not anything we
would have expected. But Floria, your expectations for Patrick Mahomes
this week. He's had a couple of decent games, but
not Mahomes like games. What are you feeling for him
(12:12):
against this Ravens defense.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
He hasn't had Mahomes like games as a passer. He
has had Mahomes like games for fantasy because he runs,
and that's the thing we want, right Like the one
game where the Chiefs had a lead throughout was his
worst game of the year, because that's not what we
need Patrick Mahomes to do. We need him dropping back
trying to air it out. And more than anything, when
he drops back, he can run. He had fifty seven
(12:35):
yards in a touchdown and sixty six yards in a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Those first two weeks.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
I think we see running Mahomes this week because one,
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are gonna put up points. Two,
when they're having to put up points, he's gonna have
to throw more. And three, this Ravens defense is pretty
beat up and they are not performing as expected.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
So I think this is a good week for Patrick Mahomes.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
They got they got run through by.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
The winner of this game, though, is the bill Because
one of these team's gonna be won in three the
others two and two.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Hills might be four and oh.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I mean right now, they're just very much cruising along
to that one seed in the AFC. The way things
are going, everybody around them is falling apart the Bills.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Just trying to your eyes on the prize at this point.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Speaking of eyes on the prize, we're gonna talk about
some guys who can get you some big.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Prizes in fantasy football.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
We're opening the door to Club Dub coming up after
the break on the NFL Fantasy Football Show, Get.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Your Johnson Baby Powder and cool Water, Colong. We're going
behind the red roads for Club Dub.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
We're gonna get to the non quarterbacks who can score
you twenty or more points in Week four, soul La Kwan,
who's spreading love up in the club WHOA.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
We are going Jackson Smith and the Jigbub We're pulling
up to the pregame playing the Parados, and we are
going to be challenging that Cardinals secondary man because we've
seen the forty whiners in mac Jones find success throwing
downfield last week. So I do think when you're dealing
with one of the best, I'm sorry, the best downfill
passers are twenty twenty four Sam Darnel, I think Jackson
(14:01):
Smith and the Jigba is gonna put up that twenty burger.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
He just he can't help himself go with.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
The what what did I say, I mean you could
have had a lot of fun on Monday.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
I mean what I mean? I pulled punches on Monday.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
Now I gotta get you back that hurt, I said
Lambs one time.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Whatever, Florio, Who's getting into the club for you? It's Omarian.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
The money guns are bad to Omari and Hampton.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Who Look, it was unfortunate that we saw Naji Harris
go down with injury last week, But seventy nine percent
of the snaps nineteen carries seven targets, absolutely elite volume.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
That is RB one.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
Type production, and I think he could be in RB
one potentially moving forward. But especially this week against the Giants,
who allowed the fifth most rushing yards to running backs.
They really struggle against explosive runs and hot take. The
Chargers might have a multi score lead at halftime, which
means a lot of grind in the clock in the
second half.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
That seems like it's a very possible thing for the
Chargers at Omari and Hampton in Week four.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Meantime, I heard the clubs in Rome or Fire.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Which means Romo Dunsa is gonna be clubbing it up
this week against the Las Vegas Raiders. The clubs in
Vegas are apparently fire too amount of money anyway, the
Raiders giving up a lot of yards to wide receivers
so far this season. And if there's anything we have
seen through the first three weeks, it is that the
Caleb Williams to Robo Dunze connection is real. He is
(15:23):
by far the number one wide receiver on this team.
He's by far the number one target. I think they
keep it rolling in that game against the Raiders. Romo
Dunza in life for another big weeks something. I think
we might start talking about Romo Dunza maybe as a
top ten wide receiver. The way things are going after
the first three weeks or so of the season. All right,
those are our club dub guys. We got money all
(15:44):
over the floor here for the remainder of the show.
That's fun. That's our Week four previews. Eagles at the Buccaneers.
Baker Mayfield's a guy that we like. You've been starting
in pretty regularly. I'm not saying you sit him, but
are you at least concerned about him this week yet.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
A little bit?
Speaker 5 (15:59):
Because Mike Evans is up in the air looking like
he's not going to be playing this week. Chris Godwin
could be back, but we self to see that. I
like a Mecca Buca. The Eagles defense, though, is very tough.
But the reason why I still think you start Baker
Mayfield is he is low key running a lot more
than I think he's getting credit for one of two
(16:20):
quarterbacks three if you count the Jets, because it's been
two quarterbacks for them. But it's him and Kyler Murray
what Oklahoma products are running in the NFL right now.
They're the only two with at least thirty rushing yards
in each game.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
So that makes the floor safe enough where I think you.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Could still start Baker.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Yeah, Baker again, I don't. I can't imagine getting away
from him. But as you mentioned, no Mike Evans, we'll
see what Chris Godwin just a tough defense. There's there's
a reason at least to be concerned. Commanders at the Falcons.
The backfield in Washington is sketchy.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
To Verry sketch.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Say the least, which Washington running back do you want out.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Of this group?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
I'll take none for six hundred, because boy, it is
real nasty work back there, and I think this game
we'll finally see who they're going to push into that
Austin Eckler snapshare, because not one of them have cracked
that fifty percent snapshare, all under forty percent of snaps.
So we're told that Bills the RB one, but we
don't see him getting that snap share that Austin Eckler
left on the table. So I do think this game,
(17:21):
whoever this game forward makes that leap to fifty percent
of the snaps will be crowned the RB one. But
right now, it's real nasty trying to figure out his
Jeremy McNichols, if it's Bill, or even if it's Chris Rodriguez,
who got a lot of opportunities last week. So it's
one of those things I've kind of been avoiding and
then starting other players that have safer floors.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, Chris Rodriguez who led the team in cherries last week,
but just thirty nine yards. McNichols seventy eight yards on
four cherries. He didn't really run quite that fast.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
And real there's also debo and whichever starting quarterback is
going to steal some goal on these too.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Yeah, had six carries in a rushing touchdown. Fin got
a light last week. Okay, so a whole lot to
kind of keep in mind there Washington. It is a muddy,
just gross backfield for fantasy.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Bears at the Raiders.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Just talked about Romo Dunes and my expectations for him
getting in the club dubbed this week.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
But DJ Moore has really been missing in action.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
He did have the touchdown, which is kind of savage
it last week, but Florio is this is this sort
of a last chance for DJ Moore for fantasy purposes.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
Yeah, I'm worried about DJ Moore. I almost had him
as a sit this week, but the Raiders aren't the
worst matchup, so decided to give him one more opportunity.
And in fact, I think it's a lot easier to
sit here and be like you should sit DJ Moore.
But I have a lot of teams where I can't
really get away from DJ Moore. So I think I
(18:41):
said it on Monday, I'm looking to sell high this
week if possible. But if he goes out and he
has another big game on Sunday, then I think that's
definitely a selling opportunity.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Yeah, I just you know, it looks like he is
behind solidly behind Romo Dunyeah, in terms of targets and
operation is the key.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
I don't think a big game actually changes it.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Also, is that who said Olamade's a kis flipping over
his back like.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
A poll Pierce in Nate Robinson moment right there?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
So we will see if DJ Moore can earn his
Sunday with the Chicago Bears against the Raiders. In the meantime,
for us, it's time to see who will deliver. Presented
by Uber Eats, we're giving you our top sleepers for
the week.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Take it off, l Q.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Take this matchup against the Titans. He has opportunity to
build the stronger chemistry with c J. Stroud because, like
I said, hopping out of the Healing Pod, he had
eight targets that was second on the team. And again
this is his first game playing with c J Stroud
in game speed. So I think you will have the
opportunity against this Titans defense where their offense is still struggling,
and you have the Titans defense allow on the third
(19:40):
highest yard per play right now. So I think this
is a good game for c J. Strou and he
and Christian Kirk is stepping into a role where a
lot of folks are dealing with injuries at wide receivers,
so I'm gonna throw him a shot at my flex position.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
All right, So Captain Kirk back in the mix for
the Houston Texans and for your fantasy roster, Florida.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Who is your sleeper for the week.
Speaker 5 (19:58):
Well, first, these moneies have a lot of it's me
you ranked, Yeah, And then there's a few actual fake
one hundred dollars bills in here, which is real dirty
work by I'm gonna have those fighting to the death
for this fake money here.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
But for me, it's Matthew Golden. I think Week four,
and I've said it a lot.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
Already, this week is going to be the week we
look back like this rookie class broke out in Week four,
and I think Matthew Golden has a real big day.
He took a big step forward last week that I
don't think is getting enough talking points. He played over
Dantavian Wicks, he had more routes and snaps than him,
he led the team in receiving yards, and now he
gets a fantastic matchup against the Cowboys, who allowed the
(20:38):
most fantasy points, yards and touchdowns to wide receivers. They've
been torched more than double the yards on deep passes
than any other team. And you don't think the Packers
know that everyone is going to be watching this game
Sunday night like they want to showcase their first round pick.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
I think Matthew Golden breaks out in a big way.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
So you like Matthew Golden as a sleeper In my
Sleeper's column this week, I've got Romeo Dobbs.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
What this means, it's only Keith week.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Oh yeah, that's what's going to happen. No, no, no, no, no,
that would be That would almost make sense if it was.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
He'll lead the team in targets. That's just how that works.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
But yeah, so here's the thing. There will be a
Packer receiver that goes off good luck to you trying
to figure out exactly which one it is, so we'll see.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
It's Matthew Golden come on, which is.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
A weird way to spell Romeo Dobbs. Anyway, like sleeper
of the week, fer Delicious, let's go, Jake Ferguson is
gonna get it done, not just because Ceedee Lamb is out,
although Ceedee Lamb being out certainly helped his case a
little bit. But even before Lamb went out, he was
second on the team in target share. He's gitting twenty
two percent of the targets. That bumped up to twenty
(21:46):
five after what we saw this past week with the
Lamb going out with an injury. But we've mentioned it
before on this show. For as good as the Packers
defense has been, they seem to struggle against.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
The tight end position.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
So with the cow Boys throwing the ball as much
as they have a league high one hundred and thirty
one pass attempts through the first three weeks, there are
plenty of targets to go around. Sure, George Pickens is
probably gonna get some. We're probably gonna see some to
Cavante Turpin and Jalen Tobert. There's still gonna be plenty
of opportunities for Ferglicious to uh to kind of get
loose there against the Packers. Plus, I don't know if
(22:21):
this is going to be a high scoring game, but
I don't think Javonte Williams is going to be able
to run particularly well, which means is going to be
a lot of Dak Prescott throwing the football in the
direction of Jake Ferguson.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
I pretty Javonte is a sit this week, but I
didn't quite pull that.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
It's hard to make him a sit just because he's
getting a lot of volume in that offense and he's
played well. He really has played well through the first
three weeks of the season. I just don't like the
matchup for.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
A terrible to can't pull the plug.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
So that should be a interesting Sunday night game though.
Of course between the Packers. You know, is there any
bad blood between you heard? I don't know if you're heard.
Michael Parsons doesn't play for the Cowboys anymore. Oh wait, yeah,
and who does he play for now? You'll be shocked
to hear this Green Bay.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
Packers and they play each other Sunday night, each other
on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
It's weird that the media hasn't mentioned this at all.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Oh wow, that's why you listen to this show.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
That was Who Will Deliver, presented by Uber Eats, where
