Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of the NFL
Fantasy Football Show. It's me your man named g Marcus
Grand joined by Michael f Florio and Lakwan Jones. It's
another burg Fest Burgfest. I like my Burgfest with sausage
(00:23):
and pancakes.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
I'm a little Belgium waffle type.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Of guy, little wooped cream, all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
And the pancakes over waffles all day.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
You're like my daughter man, like an explainer, Pancakes and
wafflers are the same thing. It's just different texture.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yeah, I just prefer the pancake.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
The real answer is chili chiles all day, every day. Anyway,
We've got a whole lot to dive into on this show.
We're gonna take a look at the week six slate
of games. Are we done with starting any Ravens for
the foreseeable future? And and Trevor Lawrence possibly rise to
the level of mid We got all that and more.
You're on today's show. But let's start, as we normally do,
(00:59):
with some fantasy headlines. A whole lot of things going
on since the last time we spoke to you.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
The headliner the Bengals have acquired Joe Flacco and.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
A twenty twenty six sixth round pick in exchange for
a fifth round pick in twenty twenty six with the
Cleveland Browns, So Flacco staying in the OH ten, just
moving out to the other side of the state. Florio,
is this good news for the Bengals receiversh.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Maybe I am I the only one that's kind of
sick of this Joe Flacco experience. Like, besides a six
game stretch where that was enough for him to steal
the Comeback Player of the War a Year award from
DeMar Hamlin, he has not been good in years and
when you compare the numbers, Browning's actually the better stat wise,
been the better quarterback of the two. Now, I know
(01:45):
you could argue, like, well, he didn't have Chase and
Higgins in Cleveland, and I get that, and maybe this
is a good thing for them, but I think it's
more than anything, potentially a lateral move. Plus now on
a short week he doesn't know the offense like that
is I'm at the point where Jamar Chase is the
only Bengaling.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
I think the upside, if you're looking at one, is
maybe we see Flacco be more of a downfield passer
than we saw from Browning. So maybe he stands out
there and throws yolo balls. Especially this week, he is
expected to start. He just got there. He still learning
everybody's names, but they do expect him to start. So
maybe it's just hey, man, just chuck it deep because
Jamar's down there something.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Do you guys think he flew or drove? Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:25):
I would love if he just drove.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
It's only a couple hours.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Well, you know, it's like Joe Flacco just stops at
some gas station for like beef jerky at a gay rade.
Is he's on his way to Cincinnati, that would be
amazing to me. In Los Angeles, we talked about a
Mario and Hampton on Monday's show, and he left the
stadium in a walking boot. He has been sent to
injure the reserve because of an ankle injury, so that
means he's going to miss at least the next four games.
(02:49):
I don't think any of us were particularly big on
Kamane Vidal or Hassan Haskins. If you gotta go do that,
then I guess that's what you got to do. But
if you lost Hampton, you're probably better off trying to
find help on another roster than what you see in
Los Angeles. Other running back news, Antonio Gibson is out
for the remainder of the season after suffering a torn
acl in the game last week against the Buffalo Bills.
(03:13):
So I've asked this before, Lakwan'm going to ask it again.
Is it finally Traveon Henderson season? Right?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
I mean, it has to be right.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I don't know what else we can do, but honestly, look,
I think when you look with they have been doing
with both of the running backs, it's very similar of like,
let's get this guy involved in the running game, let's
get this guy involved in checkdowns in the passing game.
But the last three games their production has literally been mirrored.
I mean, like, honestly, if this game this week, if
Traveon Henderson doesn't breage the gap and just runs away
(03:45):
with the job, then we're in trouble, right, because we
look at the last three games, Stevenson has one hundred
and twenty four total yards three point five yards per kerry,
and then you look at Henderson, he has one hundred
and twenty total yards three point five yards per carry.
It's very same and similar in terms of what they're
doing in production. And so he needs to run away
with the job this week, and I honestly think he
can do it with the matchup.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I don't even think he needs to run away with
the job. I just want to see him get something
of a job, just get work right, Like, Okay, fine
if at the end of the week he and remindre
Stevens if Remandre's still the number one, but at least
it looks like Trevion's getting opportunity. I can build on that. Yeah,
because right now he was a distant third.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I've been obviously pounding the drum for Trevion, but I
went back today and I was watching all of his carries.
He does need to be better, I will say that,
like he's taking what the defense is giving him on
inside carries and nothing more. And I'm like, where's this
guy that was breaking tackles and turning out long runs.
But what I really hate is the Patriots are using
(04:44):
outside zone runs at the twenty fifth highest rate. He
is excelling on those carries right now, and he's doing
a good job in the passing game. They're just not
using him that way. So please start using him the
way that he was used in college, and he will thrive.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I think you know it. It is amazing when you
see a coach who builds an offense or uses a
player based on that player's strengths versus taking a player
and trying to mold him into what you want. Yeah,
and like you see coaches doing it. Everybody's like, that's amazing,
And I'm like, isn't that shouldn't it be like coaching
one on one? Just like I think you learned that
(05:18):
day one, take advantage of your players at a strengths
and use those as opposed to just making him do
what it is you want to do.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Stevenson, they love him, man.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
I had higher hopes for him up the middle, and
hopefully he could still get there, like there has been
growing pains, but also just he's so fast and explosive.
You think they'd be like, hey, four times a game,
we're just gonna pitch you the ball and let you
do your things.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Just go. That hasn't happened quite yet. We'll see other.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Running back news down in Houston.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Still no timetable for Joe Mixon's return to the Houston
Texans from a foot injury. I mean Florida. This is
the first I think we've heard Mixon's name in a
few weeks. They haven't even really been talking about him.
I know, we've talked a lot about what he marks
Nick Chubb is doing. Is thing this point, is Joe
Mixon droppable? Yeah? Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Have Joe Mixon on any of my teams because we
heard rumblings of this in the summer, like this is
gonna be a lot longer than it looks, and right now,
like the fact that every time we hear his name,
it's just like, yeah, I know, we don't know when
he's gonna be here. Like we're in week six already.
What do you mean you don't you have no idea
when he's gonna And I saw someone on Twitter point
this out our producers a Cubs fan. It's kind of
(06:26):
like what the Cubs did with Kyle Tucker all year
where they were like, yeah, he'll be back tomorrow, and
then three months later he's back.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
In the lineup.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
I mean, you know didn't say tomorrow from when is
the argument there? So we will see. One thing we
know is that Joe Mixon's not in action nor or
any of the other Houston Texans because they are on
a buy this week them along with the Minnesota Vikings.
Just the two teams off, So hopefully that helps your
line up a little bit because most of your players
(06:53):
will be available to you. But that gets us to
Thursday night football with the Philadelphia Eagles heading to the
Metal Lands to take gone to New York Football Giants.
And here are the first touchdown odds for that game.
Sakwon Barkley and Jalen Hurts top the list. Not a
big surprise there. Cam Scataboo the only guy making it
into the top five for the Giants, then followed by
(07:14):
AJ Brown and Devontas Smith. So that's what we are
looking at in terms of first touchdown odds. Let's look
at the game itself and florio. We've seen a big
game from AJ Brown, We've seen a big game from
DeVonta Smith. We have yet to see both guys really
pop off in the same game. Is it possible? Could
it happened this week that both Eagles receivers eat in
(07:36):
the same game. Yeah?
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yeah, because of the matchup, I think it is very
much so. In the range of outcomes, like the Giants
have allowed these second most yards to wide receivers and
the third most on deep passes, and Patrick Clayburn pointed
out on Fantasy Live that's after last season being historically
bad against the deep ball. So I think this is
a get right game. On Fantasy Live, my Bowl prediction
was one hundred and fifty yards and a touchdown for
(08:00):
AJ Brown. I think this is the regression game for
him because if you watch back last week, AJ Brown
was cooking against patser Ten. AJ Brown got opened downfield.
He's doing what he is supposed to do. They couldn't
get him the ball because of Jalen Hurts. Now we're
seeing people say this offense is very predictable, they're having
this players meeting all of that. This just feels to
(08:20):
me like a game where the Eagles go out and
they beat up on a bad defense to kind of
get rid of all the bad juju that has been
following this offense.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
So far as someone who has AJ Brown, I would
advocate that I endorse. I endorse that message for sure.
On the other side, Lakwan Jackson Dart, I've, you know,
sort of up and down. He had the first start,
he comes out, he beats the Chargers last week a
little bit rough, especially in fantasy. I think with fifteen
sixteen points, I think it was for Dark short week
(08:48):
against a really good team in division. Would you start Jackson.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Dart Yes, because he's running the ball. Honestly, I don't
care how he gets the fantasy points. He's getting it
done on the ground. I mean, back to bad games,
he's at over fifty plus yards and I think the
two plus ushdowns in the back to back games as well.
It's very appealing, especially if I'm down bad and I'm
dealing with injuries or I just drafted terribly at the
quarterback position. Jackson Dark gives my roster a little bit
of life, and as you can see, he's going to
(09:11):
take off and run h because there's not much down
there in the passing game without neighbors. So I think,
honestly he is going to be one of the assets
that we have on our roster's the same way we
look at justin fields. The rushing upside is going to
be there, and for him to take off near goal
line opportunities, yeah, I think honestly, the touchdown upside.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Is there for him. I just want that. I want
that replay of the helmet slap he gave somebody just
on a loop on the run, just the helmet slap. Yeah, tackled.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Like, I don't look forward to watching the Giants play
football because like it's a little horrendous right now, But
I do think he still serves a purpose for fantasy
and be some value there, man, because watching a Giants
game right now is like watching the first episode of Paper,
Like I got to it's not great.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
But I do like I don't love Jackson Dart this week.
I do think he finishes the years at QB one
though for fantasy all right, I.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Think the conversation is up for next year too, because
like I do think he would. It's gonna pump it
up there that he could be a QB one.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, it's gonna be interesting. I mean, we'll get through
this season, but I'm curious the hype around Jackson Dart
when we get to as well. Diving into the bulk
of the week's Week six, Slates get another game overseas
in London back at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium the.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Broncos and the Jets.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
You can see that game, of course nine to thirty
am Eastern time on NFL Network and on NFL Plus.
Of the three of us Florio, you are the biggest
Justin Field stand here. Tough matchup at least on paper.
Do you trust starting him this week?
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Adam Rank got mad at me on Fantasy Live because
I said, no one's hyped up Justin Fields more since
he signed with the Jets and me he broke out
like his daughter's pillows and stuff like that. I love
Justin Fields. I have been saying to start him every
single week in Fantasy. I think this is the week
where you could potentially get away for a couple of
different reasons. One, the jetsul line is given up pressure
(10:53):
at fifty percent of the time. That's ten percentage points
higher than any other team. The Broncos generate pressure at
the second highest rate in the NFL Plus. Patsertank could
take out Garrett Wilson. And as much as I love
Justin Fields, I say it all the time. It's not
always pretty, but it's effective. A lot of his damage
comes in catchup mode. The Broncos don't seem like a
defense that's gonna take their foot off the gas even
(11:14):
if they have like a multi score lead.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Also, I don't know that the Broncos offense against the
Jets can pull away to such a big lead that
it puts you in you know, scramble ketchup mode. Either.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I have a couple of spots where I have to
start fields, but I'm sitting him for Dak in one
and in one. You guys might I think you guys
would agree with this, But Bryce Young, I was considering
over justin fields.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
You know what, it's the conversation, that conversation against the Cowboys,
one hundred percent conversation. Yeah, that's what we're doing. That
is what we are doing.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Rams at the Ravens.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
It's all bad in Bostimore right now, both offensively and defensively.
No official designation yet, but it is trending toward Lamar
Jackson not playing again. So that being said, lakwan, are
any raven startable?
Speaker 2 (12:01):
I'm not happy about starting z A Flowers, but you
kind of have to just based on what we saw
last week. Like I know, Derek Stanley fell down, kind
of tripped his feet up, but other than that catch,
that fifty six yard catch from Za Flowers, he had
ten total yards. Like I do feel like it's gonna
be a nasty star for you but where else are
you pivoting for this upside? Like he's obviously the most
dynamic player that they have on the field now, Dereck Henry,
(12:22):
I'm a little hesitant, Like I refuse to be held
hostage because his name is Dereck Henry and having my
starting lineups if I have guys on my bench that
are performing more than him, like outside of Week one,
like he's averaged less than a Fantasy points per game,
three point two yards per carry, only two touchdowns, Like
what do we get in here?
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Right?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
So I do think this Rams front they're gonna be
able to hold the King out because they have not
allowed a rushing touchdown this season after facing Christian McCaffrey
and the forty Whiners, facing Saquon Barkley, Jonathan Taylor, like
all these guys, man, we have not allowed them in
the end zone. So I think Henry could hit the
bench this week.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
So I was gonna take a quick poll, Rico Dowdle
or Dereck Henry.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
If she's out, I'm playing Rico absolutely cos on that.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yeah, I feel like that's an easy one.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
I have Henry as a state, and I have Cam
Skataboo and Jakorey Krosky Meritith starts this week. Allay love
Bill Love Bill met.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
This week absolutely cooking. Yeah, it's it's rough. Four straight
games for Derek Henry with fifty or fewer rushings. I
do want to ask the qualm one thing, Mark Andrews,
yes or no? Yes as a start this.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Week at tight ends.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
We know this man, so.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Yes, Mark Andrews gets to start this week.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Jake Ton just lighting up the Rams. He light us up,
all right.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
He did his job what you're supposed to do.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
He had seventeen Fantasy points. That's all I know.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
It's probably better than any game Mark Andrews has had
all year.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Probably is uh. Seahawks at the Jaguars, what we saw
from the Jags on Monday Night. Games like that are
why we sort of bought into this offense, right, like
why we like Brian Thomas, why we were big on
Travis Hunter. I'm going to take on this Seahawks defense,
which has been pretty good this year, So Floya Ken,
(14:06):
Trevor Lawrence do it again.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
I am very skeptical because last week was the second
most rushing yards he's ever had in a game, So
I'm not banking on that. It's one of four career
games with multiple rushing touchdowns. You can't bank on that.
And look, he did all of us in this room
a big favor beating the Chiefs, but it wasn't like
he Brian Thomas lit up the score Baugh like none
(14:28):
of the Jaguars weapons put up huge numbers. And then
on top of that, you mentioned the Seahawks like they
are a really tough defense and they were one of
the toughest against quarterbacks until MVP Baker lit them up
last week. But I don't think Trevor I was called
him a different name. I don't think Trevor Lawrence is
in that regards. So look, Arrol's pointing up. I think
he's higher on the middle meter this week we got
(14:49):
to get official words. I'm still not starting.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
He's moved up all right, from T load to team mid,
but I still have questions. I looked at this game
like he looked like a rookie quarterback that had a great,
amazing game, because I look at the mistakes, the penalties,
like how are you getting delayed the game these last
couple of weeks, Like you're home, you know where the
down clock is? Like, how are we still dealing with that.
Why are you getting a four past penalty? Like these
are things that like you're just looking like he was
(15:12):
like our yards passed, the line was in the parking lot,
Like what is he doing?
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Don't feel like those like consistent Trevor Lawrence things like
this isn't a new.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Thing, exactly mid tier, bro.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
You're paid like a top five quarterback and you out
here making rookie mistakes, Like come on. The fumble was
just like crazy to me, Like, oh yeah, I'm just
gonna put the ball out. Nobody's got.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
That. Falling down on the game winning touchdown just just
the most Trevor.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Mid Lawrence way possible to win the game. Chris Jones
was like that was a fluke play. I mean yeah,
Chris Jones like he might as well just like just
he did. Donald would never do that, Like come on, yeah,
that was.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
The the end result of this is he has moved
up and he is Team mid he made Maybe that
is all we know. We had plenty of left to
do on this show. Some more Week six previews, plus
our Sleepers of the Week and some rookies to keep
an eye on in Week six as well. That's coming
up next on the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Before we get back.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
To our Week six previews, say you to look at
some rookies we think could pop in Week six, or
at least some folks you should keep an eye on,
maybe for future reference. So I was looking at this
and this one Lakwan took me by surprise, but I'm
open to hearing your explanation.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
I'm trying to avoid the echo chamber. Everybody's talking about
the same rookies, so I'm going to talk about gunner Helm.
I do feel like yesterday when we had Brian Callahan
and offensive coordinator Nick Holts talking his praise. They've been
praising this guy since the summer, So I do think
gunner Helm man having a season high in targets and catches.
The eerro was pointing out, we saw that the coaching
change in the play calling has basically improved. Like last
(16:56):
week was the best Titans offense we've seen in terms
of yards per play. So I look at gunner Helm
as a watch because I do think with cam Ward
his college production with a tight end Elijah Royo, there's
obviously a basically assistant that could be tight end friendly
for gunner heelm to thrive.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
So is it a wrap on chick a conquo then
take a.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Gonquo split the opportunities with him yet last week, So
I do think that we still need to watch. But
gunner Helm just look way better. I mean that to
tab catch near the end zone, cam Ward looks like
he's making some good connections with him.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Need the offense as a whole, I think to kind
of pick it up. But there's a lot of interesting
pieces if they can kind of get some things together. Plus,
anytime were gonna add another tight ends Cardinals each week,
that would that would help for sure.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Me, andwhile Florida we're still.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
We're still trying to square this circle here in Denver.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Huh No, I fully have accepted that. I think this
is JK. Dobbins backfield, Okay, And I'm not trying to
make the case that R. J. Harvey is going to
take over, But I do think R J. Harvey is
a sleeper in this one because the Jets have allowed
twenty seven or more points in every game this season.
So if the Broncos are able to pull away a
little bit. When we saw two weeks ago against the
(18:00):
Bengals was they were showcasing their young talent and giving
them opportunity, and it's why RJ. Harvey had the biggest
game I think of any Broncos running back in fantasy
so far this season in that game. And I also
think last week was they were trailing. If it's a
game where you think they're gonna trail, RJ. Harvey I
think has no use. But when they're ahead, I think
(18:21):
we could get more and more RJ.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Harvey.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
So if you're in like a deeper league or something
like that, I think he brings a little bit of
sleeper appeal.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
All right, So RJ. Harvey maybe a little bit of
juice depending on how the game script goes there. I
want to give some love to Teterroll McMillen. That feel
like we haven't talked enough about him. We talked rookies,
you know, we've talked a Mecca Abuca. You have talked
to Ashton GenZ. Now we got a couple of young
buzzy quarterbacks right now. Te Roll McMillan is a top
twenty five wide receiver despite not having a touchdown and
(18:51):
despite playing in a bottom ten passing offense. It's because
he is the passing offense. He has a twenty five
percent target share, he's got a forty air yard share.
I mean, that's that's pretty much it. You know, you got,
you know, some other guy that Hunter renfro is the
number two target, but he's well behind McMillan at this point.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
So the volume is there, the opportunity is there.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Then throwing the fact that they're playing the Cowboys this week,
who continue to give up a ton of yards two
wide receivers. Look, I know last week we saw Garrett
Wilson kind of pop off.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Late in that game.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
I don't care how it happens. I don't care if
it happens earlier, if it happens late, I think with
the volume and the matchup, it's going to happen for McMillan.
So if you've been kind of figuring out trying to
figure out when's the right time to start him, which,
by the way, he's got double digit fantasy points in
like four or five games this year, this is the week.
Absolutely get him in your lineup for sure.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Let's go back to our Week six previews. The forty
nine Ers head down to Tampa to take on to
the Buccaneers. The quon would you dare start Michael mccorky
Jones against the Buccaneers this week?
Speaker 2 (19:53):
You know, mac Jones is my guy, but the forty
Whiners against the Bucks absolutely, man, because you look at
that Bucks red zone defense is god awful. T Like,
I hope mac Jones pulls up in that Batman Forever
two face again because that was kind of fire. I'm
not gonna lie, but I do think when you have
the driver, the guy CMC is able to get them
to striking distance when he's driving them in that minivan
(20:14):
that I think Kendrick Mahma was driving or whatever broken
down minivan that the forty nine ers are. But I
do think that mac Jones has high upside the finand
zone a couple of times because the Bucks allowed Tyrod
Taylor to find the end zone twice once they got
down to the red zone. So yes, for sure, Mac
Jones has been a ball.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
He has played really, really well and I only think
of the good kid Mad City cover right now with
the broken down minivan chargers at the Dolphins. We talked
a little bit about this on Monday. We mentioned earlier
in the show that Amaron Hampton is on ir for
at least the next four games, but the Dolphin defense
has been.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
On good this year.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Would you consider a Chargers running back this week?
Speaker 3 (20:53):
It always depends on your options, right, Like in a
fourteen team league where I was lucky enough to get
Kamani Videl, I am, But in a couple of other
like twelve teamers where I'm pretty good at running back,
I added him and I'm taking away and see approach,
So it kind of depends on your options. Plus, like
this is Michael Carter vers Emery demccado all over again.
(21:13):
Because some people are big on Hassan Hoskins, some are
big on Kamani Videll. I sighed on Videll because he
played over Haskins last year when both Edwards and JK.
Dobbins miss time. But some people think he is just
going to be the third down back. That might be
what it starts with, because look, Jim Harborough loves his
Michigan guys, but I just think Vidal is better and
(21:36):
has more juice and I expect him to kind of
take over, but I would like to see it first.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Ideally, Yeah, I think the answer is neither. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Those runs like the Clinchero are showing him just like all,
g No, you're running nice.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
I say that.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Look, I was a Kamani Vidal stand last year. I
wanted it to happen.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Let U draft class and Misstackles forced. He's got that
under him.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
He's got Jewish Man and it is the Dolphins. Like
I if I have to play Vidall, I'm feeling okay
about it just because it's I'm Doll. But more of
the streets won the Haskins because Jim Horball pushed some
confidence into it.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
It made me said, is Troy's own Patrick claybouns that
he thinks the doll is only going to play their downs.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Man, I just don't like that. I just I think
what's gonna happen is they'll both play, They'll both score
like six Fantasy points, and he'll be a wash. Then
then the whole fantasy streets will stop talking about it
all together. Cowboys at the Panthers, we talked about Ted McMillan,
assuming Chuba Hubber doesn't play, he's sort of working and
trying to get back. But if he doesn't play, Lakwan
(22:34):
is Rico Dwell must start.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Rinco'dowell, Yeah, man of course, man, Eric Collins is a
must start for all prime time because honestly, he made
this game entertaining for no reason. The Dolphins and Panthers
game should not have been that entertaining. So I'll start there.
But I think Rico Daddo is in play man. I
do think he can pick up where Chuba Hubber lefts off.
I mean, obviously going against the Dolphins defense, man, you
see him cutting them up upfield. So I do think
(22:57):
that obviously going against the Cowboys defense, that you could
really play on. I think ric o'dalo gets to start
again for me this week.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
All right, so you told the Cowboys to buckle.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
I was gonna say you heard that quote right like
he said, this game circled on it. Chebar do a
soul a favorite and just sit out on take the week.
We need to see Javonte vers Rico get fully healthy.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Collins on this game too.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
I'm down.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
It's not like I was watching ecwad.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Let's let's make it happen. If we can make it happen,
it's time to see who will deliver. Presented by Uber Eats,
we're giving you our top sleepers for the week. Start
us off ol.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Q my snorlax is going to be Taj Spears. And
I say this slowly because I'm like, expectations is flex
expectations right, because I honestly think the Titans are still
ramping up to get that offense to have an identity.
But he brings some spark what I saw last week
with his limited touches, they put him in a wildcat,
So there's obviously plans to get him designed plays to
(23:53):
get him involved. And we know Brian Callahan looks at
him more than a backup. Like when he signed Tony
Pollard and Taj Spears was there, he said he like
both of them are RB one. So I do think
there is some wiga room around this Raiders defense where
this team honestly they have some bad or going on.
So I think they can capitalize on the opportunity where
Taja Spears might come out as a sleeper this week
with flex appeal.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
All right, Look, I've been a tay J. Spears guy
for the last couple of years. Hope he could get
more last year didn't quite happen. Yeah, but you know,
not willing to give up on him just yet. Floria,
who is your sleeper?
Speaker 3 (24:23):
This I mentioned that I was considering him over justin fields,
but I think Bryce Young is very much though in
play as a streaming option this week against the Cowboys
right most yards allowed, most touchdowns allowed, They struggle against
the deep ball. They are the number one defense to
get passing games into your fantasy lineup with. Plus Dak
is playing at a very high level right now, George
(24:44):
Pickens is clicking with him. Jake Ferguson is the best
tight end in fantasy. Those guys are going to put
up points. So if you could get Bryce Young in
catch up mode against this bad Cowboys defense. Look, I
say it every time I talk about Bryce Young. Don't
watch the first half. You're gonna be like, he only
has four Fantasy points, but at the end of the
week he's probably I think this is a week where
(25:05):
he's gonna have a good amount.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Yeah, I think he can put up some points against
this Cowboys the least.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Tory, I hate your pick, but I also agree with it.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Tyler. Here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
You love Jeon Robinson.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
I love Vision, we all love Bjon Robinson. I don't
think the Falcons love Bjeon Robinson. They also can't quit
Tyler owse Ye No, No. Twenty five percent of the snaps,
twenty percent of the team's touches. He's got three games
this year. Three of the four Falcons games he's had
double digit carries. Two of those games he's had at
least fifty yards and a touchdown on the ground. He's
going to get opportunities, Florida. You know this better than anybody.
(25:41):
The Bills against the run not great, yep, not great.
And so obviously we know Bijon's want to get his touches.
He's gonna get his yards.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
But don't be surprised if you see Tyler Al's year
giving you double digit points, if you see you know,
twelve to sixteen points out of Tyler Ral's year, don't
be surprised because he's gonna get those kind of opportunities
and I think he.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Can produce at a decent level. So if you lost
to Mario and Hampton, for instance, Tyler Aljier probably still
out there on some waiver wires worth of check and
worth maybe a spot in your flex if you needed that.
