Speaker 1 (00:12):
Hi, Hello everybody.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Welcome to Week two, and welcome to the NFL Fantasy
Football Show. It's me your man, MG Marcus Grant, joined
by Michael F. Floyo and Lakwan Jones. How are we
feeling start a week two? How are things?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
I pulled a hammy playing slow pitch softball last night
for those who think we're not athletes on the show,
so I've been better.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
You're not helping the allegations.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
But I hit a home run, So there it is.
I pulled a hammy.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
There it is. Once we hit.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Thirty, we're considered and we're considered wash.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
So it is what it is.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Team washed all day.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, man, let's go.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
That's why I like those veterans hanging on in the
league just a little bit longer to make me feel
kind of better about myself.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
For sure. Lots to do today.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
We're gonna go heavy on some starts and sets, but
also letting you know, can a couple of rookie pass
catchers stay hot in Week two? Which start tight end
might be hitting your bench and some bulpers which include
some redbirds getting hot down there in the desert. So
let's dive into the starts and sins, of course. Michael
lef Floya writes the column every single week on NFL
dot com. You can find it at NFL dot com
(01:11):
Slash Starts Sit, and I'm sure everybody just takes it
in stride and has.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Just nothing but constructive criticism for you.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
I've did something I should have done. I looked at
YouTube comments from last week and people were calling out
the start sit plays before snap was even played. Someone
said in Mecca Buka, I was very dumb to say
to start them. Well, they vanished.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yeah, they did.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Like Homer Simpson on the quand shirt, just kind of
like you back into the bushes again. You're not gonna
hear from those people again until week two.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
They're all Week two comments guaranteed. They're like this idiot's back.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
They're all the way back again. So let's dive into
your starts and sets. Let's start with the quarterback position,
the guys that you have on the plus side, the
guys that you have on the negative side.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Who are your starts and sits at quarterback? This week?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Just like last week, running with Justin f again, I
think he is going to run plenty and he looked
fantastic as a passer. I like, Justin Herbert, you gotta
wait till Monday night. But he threw a lot more
than anticipated and looked really good doing so. Kyler Murray
just has another advantageous matchup this week. And I know,
usually when you have a team that gives up the
(02:19):
run a lot, you're like, that doesn't help a quarterback.
But it's Kyler Murray, so that helps the quarterback. Dak
Prescott has a long history of success against the Giants,
Drake May gets the Dolphins that I think we are
going to pick on the Dolphins secondary a lot this season,
and then some sits Jared Goff, I'm really worried about that.
Olon and the Bears were able to generate pressure in
Week one. C J Shrouds same thing that Oline did him.
(02:40):
Absolutely no favors against Lakwan's rams. Aaron Rodgers, I'm not
buying the four touchdown day, Like, if he doesn't do that,
you're probably looking at a much smaller fantasy number. Trevor
Lawrence is only for the desperate. I know a lot
of people might be considering him because of the matchup.
And then Daniel Jones like, if I'm not buying Aaron Rodgers.
There's no way I'm buying.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Daniel Jones the whole.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
I just say, you look at the four touchdown, that's great.
His average air yards per attempt like four point three,
Like that was I mean just extended handoffs from Aaron
Rodgers to his pass catches. Five percent of his passing
yards were a yards after the catch. One of the
thames on here, Justin Herbert Lakwan. We came into the
season thinking the Chargers are going to be really run heavy.
(03:20):
They threw the ball sixty of the time in Week one.
Wile do we maybe have to readjust our evaluations on Herbo.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, it looks like they got a new DNA over there,
you know in LA, the other LA team. But I
do feel like, you know, this being the week one start,
they started off bounds fifty pass and run last year
in Week one, I think this is a new formula
of having Keenan Allen added to this passing group. He
has another reliable wide receiver on this offense, and I
(03:49):
think they might lean into that. And also seven rushing attempts,
he looked good with the wheels getting out of the pocket.
So I do feel very comfortable having Justin Herbert on
my rosters, and he's going to be a start and
forget for me if he comes out of this week
shining how he did in Week one.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I do want to correct you on one thing.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
The Chargers are actually the original LA team.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
The Rams came from Cleveland. I'm just putting that out there.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
All I know, my history brother, no coach loves their
quarterback more than no one. Did you see Harborough's quote
the other day? He was like, Herbert took a hit
that would have killed a lesser man. I had tears
in my eyes, like it's the funniest quote I've ever heard.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Find someone who loves you the way Jim Harbor loves justin.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Herbert the reason to his players, I hope he doesn't
have sons because they got replaced.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
As we dive into this this Charger offense a little
bit more, I know, we sort of went back and
forth about who's the alpha between Lad McConkie and Keenan Allen.
Let's also not forget Quentin Johnston though in this offense.
I know we'll talk about some wide receivers a little
bit later on, but are we looking at a situation
Florida where now there are three legit pass catchers to
(05:02):
take into account with the.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Chargers, I think so, I think Quinton Johnston is going
to be a little bit more volatile than the other two.
I feel the floors are much safer with Keenan and
with lad but the passing volume was funneled through these
three guys, and I don't see. You look at the
rest of their roster and like, I don't see a
reason for that to change. Like Quentin Johnston, say what
(05:26):
we will about him, but something I pointed on Fantasy
Live is like, even when he was struggling in the past,
he was getting open. He was just dropping them, you know,
like he's now. The catch rate is the biggest thing
that changed from week one compared to past years. And
he's their go to guy in the red and end zone.
So touchdowns alone are probably gonna keep him a float
most weeks.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I'm not trying to say he's DeVante Adams, but let's
remember DeVante Adams his rookie year.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Had major issues with drops and.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Packers fans were ready to be done with him, and
he just instead blossomed into one of the top receivers
in the league. So you know, sometimes you can work
on a problem and you can get better. And maybe
that's what Quinton Johnston is doing. That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, the right.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Oh wait, one real quick thing. Tremor Lawns is on
the sets. Where is he on the middle meter? And
does he move up in the middle meter? You think
this this week?
Speaker 4 (06:15):
The middle meter needs to be updated. It needs to
based down here where I can extend the board to
T low because boy, week one was terrible, so hopefully
in week two we can actually get some movement here.
So I do kind of want to move him up
in this matchup, but then he has to prove me wrong,
you know, then we'll see.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
He should start in the middle and.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Week to week.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, you know what if we if we can offer
a revision you have you have T law, T mid
and then T low and you can go from like
low to law eventually or something like that.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
I mean, after week one performance, we can revise the
board and he will be at T low of the
deep depths of the Earth's core.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Right, it's not even Trevor Midlaw.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
We're going Trevor Trevor Low.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
This is it's kind of where has him right now?
All right, let's let's move over to the running backs.
As we look at the starts and sits there, who
you got up, who you got down?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
I'm playing Breeze Hall because the Bills were ran all
over and he has a history of success against him.
O Marion Hampton dominated volume and touches and pass game usage,
and people still were complaining it's ridiculous to me, Traveon Henderson.
I know week one wasn't what we wanted, but I
think this is a kind of matchup where the big
plays come. Tony Poller just dominates volume and I think
(07:30):
that's enough to make him a strong start in fantasy.
And same thing with Travis Etn. Travis Etn was so
good that they were like, we're gonna trade your competition away.
And then the sits. It really pains me, Isaiah Pacheco,
but the usage really frightened me in week one, and
the matchup is scary. Kenneth Walker did not like the
usage at all for week one. Not a must sit,
more option dependent. RJ. Harvey just I know lq's gonna
(07:55):
be upset with me over this. I want Harvey to
be a thing. But seven touches and so few snaps
it's hard to trust the Browns running backs if Quinn
Shawn Jupkins plays, If not, Samson could be in play
as a flex option. And then Nick Chubb. Look, I
know he had a few good runs in the preseason,
but that old line is gonna tear everything down.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I think it broke my brain to look and see
Brown's rbs and then Nick Chubb intwo separate. I was like, wait,
that's right, that's right. Not used to seeing that at all. Okay,
lakwan with R. J. Harvey, do you want to tell
Florio to his face why he's wrong? Or do you
want to get on your burner and go to the.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Want Tom do it?
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Listen, this is I'm gonna take this from Michael Scott.
Why are you the way you are?
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Why?
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Why? How do you watch this man lead his team
in scrimmage yard See how explosive he is and he
has that home brank Look we got the clip, yes,
let's go, and that's in between the tackles. Everybody was
crying about him bouncing outside too much. That's in between
the tackles and he's still getting a field. I think
Sean Payton is gonna unleash him this you know why,
because Manti is my Sean Peyton whisperer. Okay, Manti, I
(09:05):
want to shout you out, because if he goes off
this game, all the credit goes to him. He is
going to be ramped up in these touches, and I
think this game he's going to bounce outside because exactly
what bres Hall was able to do last week. I
think that you know, we're going to see a revamp
of the electric going into r J.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Harvey. Wait, how did Manti tayl become the Sean Payton whispers.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Because yeah, yeah, I was wondering where that tie.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Listen. He knows a little bit that I don't want
to disclose yet, but he knows how Sean Payton actually
operates as a coach. So I just want to put
that out there that Manti's my whisper when it comes
to r J. Harvey.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Moving forward, well, I guess they were probably in New
Orleans together, Yeah, trying like where they would have crossed pass.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
After the charger after New Orleans.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
There you go, all right, that makes some sense.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
We'll get back to some more starts and says a
little bit later on in the show, we want to
turn our attention to some of the Marquee prime time
games in Week two, starting with Sunday Night Football. The Falcons,
after losing a heartbreaker, they go to Minnesota to take
on the Vikings, who pulled one out against the Bears
on Monday night. You can see that game on Sunday eight,
twenty e Eastern time on NBC and at Universo as well.
(10:17):
JJ McCarthy Florida was really good in the second half
of that game. Would you consider starting him in one
QB leagues option dependent?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I think, like, obviously you're not playing him over any
of the top five quarterbacks that were drafted. I'm not
playing him over Justin Fields. I would rather play Kyler
Murray this week. I would rather play Dak. I like
Drake may like if you have like him or Goff,
I still think I would play.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
We should playm over Caleb because you know, like that
they were the guys that went to the head last week.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, I would, Okay, I like the matchup better, Okay, all.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Right, but it's close. It's it's very close, all right,
all right?
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Falcon pass rush is underrated, But you know, let's also
not forget what we all believed Kevin O'Connor will put
his quarterback in a position to succeed, and that's what
we saw in week one.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
You gotta believe he could do it again.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
The thing I always say with JJ is like, you're
not trusting him, You're trusting Koc Justin Jefferson, Hawkinson and
all that around him exactly exactly.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
And look he's at home and it's a Yes.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
The Falcons have a good pass rush, They're still not
as good defensively as the Bears, so maybe reasons to
be optimistic there. Looking at the first touchdown odds for
the Sunday night game between the Falcons and the Vikings,
you will not be shocked to learn that John Robinson
has the best touchdown odds.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
No, no way.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
It's hard to believe right that you know a guy
who's one of the best running backs in the league
has the first has the best.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Wild though, I will say, or.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Number two. Did you put this list together out? Yes,
I feel like.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
The fact that Jordan Mason is ahead of Justine y
Person is a little bit wild. Jesse Jefferson is third
at plus six fifty, Aaron Jones is number four, and
then Drake London both Jones and London.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Coming in at plus nine hundreds. We still got plenty
left to go through.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Still got a couple of Monday night football games that
we want to dive into, plus some more of the
Stardoms and Sidams, wide receivers and.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Tight ends, plus some bold predictions, all still to.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Come here on the NFL Fantasy Football Show. Continuing on
through our look at the week two primetime games. We
got a pair of Monday night games coming up this week.
The first one the Buccaneers at the Texans. You can
see that Monday, seven pm Eastern on ESPN ABC and
(12:43):
ESPN de Portes. Baker Mayfield a guy we were drafting
as a top five, maybe top six, probably top six,
top seven quarterbacks, probably a little bit more accurate with
a Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Decent start in Week one. The touchdown numbers certainly helped. Lakwan.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Would did you consider Baker I start this week? I
guess the really physical Texans defense.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Yeah, I'm worried about that pass rush. I'm worried about
them getting takeaways from Baker. So I'm kind of pivoting
in my own personal leagues from putting Baker in this
week because look, my Rams might have gotten the win,
but it was a very close game, a very ugly win.
But it was one of those games where the Texans
defense was fierce on that defensive line, and I'm not sure.
With Baker struggling last week in the passing yards, it
looked like it was just mass in his fantasy performance
(13:27):
by a three touchdowns, which is great, But this Texans
defense is definitely gonna be physical. They're gonna be fast,
flying around. They're gonna be getting that pressure on Baker.
So I'm pivoting to other options this week.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
I also was looking at the wide receiver matchup there
for a Mecca Abuka, who was fantastic in Week one.
I would imagine he's gonna line up on Derek Stingley
a few times. Stingley one of the top corners in
the NFL. I don't expect Stingley's gonna travel like I
don't think he's gonna travel around with Mike Evans h
so he may line up on Abuka.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
I think this is gonna be his first real test
ye wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
If I have Baker, I'm probably starting him, but I'm
kind of with you on I'm not super excited about
what it could be this week for him, for sure.
The other money nine game Chargers in Las Vegas is
take on the Raiders and you can see that game
ten pm Eastern on ESPN and also on ESPN Deportes.
Ashton Gent not great in Week one. He scored the
(14:23):
touchdown which definitely kind of helped boost his numbers. The
Chargers have a good run defense. Shouldn't we be worried
about Gent this week?
Speaker 3 (14:30):
I'm not at that point yet. He played eighty six
percent in the snaps last week. He had twenty one opportunities.
He got the goal on work. To me, that's what
I care about most in week one is opportunity, and
he had all of it. Now, I get it tough
Chargers run defense week Raiders O line. But if genty
is the talent that we think he is, he'll be
(14:51):
able to overcome stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
And I should definitely clarify like, I don't think this
is something like panic he's a bust or whatever I
think he had, you know, didn't have a great in
Week one. I just think he's a tough matchup in
Week two. I think over the long haul, Ashton Gent
is going to be fine. If you spent a first
round or early second round pick on him. I'm not
telling you should freak out and try to like trade
him or anything like.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
There were people freaking out on Twitter though.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Yeah, I don't think we're at that point.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Yeah, like we're we're a long way from that long season.
If you're panicking in week one.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
If you're panicing already, exactly, it's just I just look
at it as a tough matchup and you know, hey,
maybe you know, he just didn't get off to a
good start.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Someone on Twitter was like, is Terry McLaurin done for?
Speaker 1 (15:31):
And I was like, no, name, what are we doing.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
It's a reminder that like not everyone you know, they're
they're they're living in.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Week to week.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Yeah, which game? But man, sometimes just just take a
deep breath. It's gonna be all right.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Last I saw, yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Remember your pressure points. Let's get back to the starts
and sits. Looking at the wide receivers. A lot of
names on this side here, who are your starts and
sets here?
Speaker 3 (16:01):
I'm going with Travis Hunter, who led the team in
targets and catches last week in a game that I
think the Jaguars have to throw a lot more Ricky Pearsall.
I know Brock Purdy isn't going to be playing, but
I still think he's in play as the top target
for the forty nine ers Niners min Irwin, I'm a
believer he's the top option for Josh Allen. He's the
(16:21):
end zone option. Ameca Abuka, I know here everything you
guys were saying. I still think he's gonna see a
lot of time at a slot. And the Texans gave
up the third most slot yards. I know that's pooping Nakua,
but still Calvin Ridley, I think is just gonna have
a much better day because he's not gonna have Pat
Sirtan on him for over eighty percent of the snaps.
And then I also have Marquise Brown and Keenan Allen
(16:42):
as starts the sits Jalen Wattle because man, it's getting
ugly fast in Miami, Jerry Judy, the Brown spread the
ball out a lot last week, and the Ravens defense
I think is a lot better than it looked in
Week one. Michael Pittman Junior. For the same reason that
Calvin Ridley had a bad game in Week one, probably
gonna have a bad game and Week two for Pittman
because of Patrick's Aerten and then Cooper Cup. Like, I mean,
(17:05):
I don't even know if Sam Darnold knows Cooper Cup
is a thing right now.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
I I know he only got the three targets. I
think they're gonna start spreading it out a little bit more,
just gonna have to. Like Jackson, Smith and Jagba had
thirteen targets, the rest of the Seahawks had nine combined,
and like, that's just not sustainable the course of a
full season. You're we'll go a little bit off menu here, Lakwan, Yeah,
I know. We were going back and forth about who
(17:29):
is the alpha in the Chargers passing game? Is it Ladd,
is it Keenan Allen? I feel like this is not
gonna be the last time we have this conversation. But
that being said, Keenan came back to Los Angeles and
reminded you of who he was all those years with
the Chargers.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Oh yeah, he did, man, And just looking at the stats, man,
thirty five percent of his routes he was targeted on.
He only played sixty one percent of the snaps, So
that just heightens his attention that he brings on the
field and the comfortability with Justin Herbert. I know Ladd
is there as well, but he is a compimary piece
to this all offense. I think he makes a lot
of decoy decisions for a lot of defenders making business
decisions to obviously cover him because he is just as good.
(18:07):
But when Keenan Allen's on the field, he has been
nothing but an alpha his entire career. I think there
is still a lot of juice left in Keenan Allen.
His target separation rate is still above league gabage it
was last season as well, generated one hundred targets with
the Chicago Bears with Kayla Williams. I think that he's
still going to be the Keenan Allen that we known
in love when he was in that Chargers uniform.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Moving forward, I thought was interesting that he played a
lot out wide. I think we just got so used
to him being a big slot receiver and doing damage there,
But I spent a lot of his time out wide
in Week one, was heavily used, was pretty much almost
exclusively used in three wide receiver sets. Now again, the
offense a lot more pass heavy in Week one than
(18:48):
we anticipated, so that definitely.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Helps forgetting every ounce of Keenan Allen out. So when
those legs get wobbly late in the year, you.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Know we're gonna have We're gonna have that week right
where Keenan's like on the end report and he's gonna
be like, I'm gonna play this week and then he'll
get like two targets. He's gonna be like a decoy
out there or something like that. Like we always have
one of those weeks with Keenan Allen.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
I do expect him to ramp it up with him, man,
I do expect that sixty one percent a snap just
kind of gets up there higher and hire man because
he can still ball and he's shown this to that and.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Yeah he's thirty three though, step dude, we're thirty three.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Yeah, I'm not trying to play sixty percent in the
NFL game.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
I pulled my hand. He's playing slow pitch softball.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
I'm just saying, that's not old to me.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Man, we stay out here kicking. I ain't washed in
real life.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
No, it's what we it's not old for the Earth's
not too old for the Earth's old.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
That's what it is all right, let's move over to
the tight ends. Florida. Who are your starts?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
And since now that seed is just gonna run my
head all day, Tyler Warren is a mustard already. I
don't even think I have to explain that one. Uh
Evan Ingram we the weirdest injury thing, Like we're not
getting any news on him. If he ends up playing
this week, I think he's solid. If not, obviously you
got to go in another direction. Hunter Henry is just underappreciated,
(20:02):
and again I want Patriots in this matchup. Jake Ferguson
was the number two target for DAK last week, and
I think he is a safety blanket. And then Juan
Johnson I think is just the apple of Spencer Rattler's
eye for whatever that means, since the Swifties are gonna
come for me. But I don't love the matchup. I
don't love the Week one usage, I don't love the
production going back to last year. So if you have
(20:22):
another tight end you like, I think try to get
away from Kelsey.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Tucker.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Craft is super touchdown dependent, at least with the Week
one volume, and even with the touchdown, he didn't have
ten Fantasy points. Dal Kincaid had a big game, but
I don't think it was four targets. You can't really
rely on that, Harold Fan and Junior. I want on
as many rosters as I can, but I want to
see it a second week and against the tough defense
like the Ravens before. I just blindly put him in,
(20:46):
but again that's a little bit more option dependent. And
then Colson Lovelin, like I want him to be a thing.
But Cole Comet was the tight end one on Monday Night.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Yeah, that was absolutely wild over on the start side,
Quhan are feeling furgolicious this week?
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Yeah, man, I like that.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
That's kind of a wild man. But Fergie Fergi is, Yeah,
he's part of this Cowboys offensive game plan. Like I
was really impressed with his target share eighteen percent, and
I honestly think that when you look how this season
is going to look, it's gonna be the trio of
Cede Lamb, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson. This is everything
Isaiah Stanback has been telling us all his time when
(21:21):
Good Morning Football, explaining how this Cowboys offense is going
to be operating. That is Dak's security blanket. And we
have to remember in twenty twenty three he let all
tight ends in red zone targets. With twenty three, I
could see this ramping up as the season progressed, once
they get all in sync and George Pickens's role is
in stone of what he's actually gonna be. I do
think that Jake Ferguson just goes under the radar for
(21:42):
a lot of folks man, and he can ball when
he's healthy.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Yeah, I think that's gonna be better. I think he
gets some more help from his teammates soon. That's just
gonna help everybody around him in that passing game.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
All right.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
For more of the Startup sitt, of course, you can
go to NFL dot com slash Starts sit and see
the entirety of Michael Florio's column. Now, get you ready,
get that, get that We're shot. I get that glass
of milk, and it's time for hot takes. We're gonna
close out the show by getting a little bit spicy, lakwan,
what is your hot take for the week.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
I'm buying tickets to the Kyle Pits Breakout Show, and
I'm expecting a top five performance. I'm not all the
way back I'm going to check it out. The night
one reviews were cool, they were calm, collected, but with
Drake Linon banged up, Michael Pennix kept his word that
Kyle Pits will be involved in this offense. And I
love how Zach Robinson is using him in this offense.
(22:30):
So they're creating opportunities for him to get open and
not making them work too hard. So I'm expecting a
top five performance from Kyle Pitts SR.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Man. I just I want to believe it.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
I'm I feel like I have less faith in the
Falcons this week than a lot of other people, but
I'm ready to be proven wrong.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
I will be glad to be wrong.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
I stream Pits in the league last week. It worked
out then, yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
A little bit work.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
I can tell you different views when I get back
from the show.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Sounds good, Florido, what's your hot take for the week.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
I think this is gonna Drake Mayn's breakout week because
of the matchup against the Miami Dolphins and Daniel Jones
and everything that the Colts did last week. So Drake
made three hundred passing yards and three touchdowns. And when
I submitted my bold prediction this week for for NFL
dot Com, I called my shots on who the three
touchdowns are gonna be Keishawan Bouti, Okay Hunter, Henry Traveon Henderson.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
I was waiting for a Pop Doug. I was waiting
for a pop Douglass in there. But all right, I'll
take that. I'm down with that for sure. My my
hot take right now. I'm gonna I'm actually up the
ante because what I originally said was that both Cardinals
running backs score a touchdown, right that James Connor Trey
Vinson each have a touchdown. I'm gonna add some spice.
I'm gonna drop another little uh, you know, a couple
(23:47):
of halapagnos. Maybe a ghost, not a ghost. Pepper's not
quite that hot. But Kyler Murray also has a rushing
touchdown in this one. So you get a rushing or
receiving touchdown from the running backs, you get a rushing
touchdown from Kyler Murray as well. The Panthers last year
statistically the worst run defense in the league. They give
up like six hundred and fifty more yards and the
(24:08):
next worst team. They also were tired for the second
most rushing touchdowns allowed and in Week one, they didn't
get any better. So I think you're gonna see a
run heavy game script. You know, Kyler Murray can get
out of the pocket and do damage with his legs
as well, so I think we're gonna see a lot
of that coming.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Up this week.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
And you know the Cardinals game plan ways to not
get touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yes exactly, So they're gonna right in line, they're gonna
get right, they're gonna get inside the five, and then
they're gonna run the football.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
So there you go.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
THO like Tray go down't fall down, fall out of
the two so we can run it in.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
That's what we're gonna do. That's a good spot for
us to wrap it up. That is it. We are done.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
You know the drill. Tell two friends to tell two
friends rate review and remember fries or salad sums up
every adult decision you have to make, be safe to
carry yourselves.
Speaker 1 (24:56):

on Monday.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
