Speaker 1 (00:07):
The Season with Peter Schrager is a production of the
NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
The story all season has been this cast of characters
from Minnesota. I asked our producers last night. I just
threw out a couple of names. I probably forgot about
ten of them. Give me some guys who, oh, I
don't know were elsewhere last year that have made huge
differences this year, Like Sam Darnold has been an MVP candidate,
Aaron Jones has been as good as any other veteran
(00:49):
running back that's at that age, Stefan Gilmour, Andrew Van Kinkle, Renard.
I mean, we can go through Blake Cashman.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
We could talk about a million different guys.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
This is not your We have a cast of characters
that we have been building. These guys were all on
different teams last year. It's like an over sensation and
they're not huge fore agent signings.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
I've said it every week since the start of training camp.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Sam Darnold signed a one year, ten million dollar deal
in Minnesota, and he has been as good as any
quarterback in that conference. I don't know if he is
in the conversation for all pro there's better quarterbacks in
the AFC, maybe, but I think you're talking about NFC quarterbacks,
NFC quarterbacks. I think he might be the best one
in the entire conference. This season, Jaden Daniels was like Gumby.
(01:36):
He's just in and out of every single play.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
He's taking hits. He bounces right up.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
You thought his knee exploded sixteen times during this game.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
It doesn't matter. He gets up and it keeps on going.
Jaden Daniels was taking hits in these games. Guys.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
He ran for one hundred and twenty seven yards on
sixteen carries, but he also threw for two twenty seven
with three touchdowns. And then this one, Justin Simmons is like, ah, okay,
I can't hit you, okay, out of the readoption here
Simmons boom, We're gonna nail you here.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
The big plays at the end, though, are what matters.
So it's an overtime.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
This is the one I wanted to show because it's
Ajterrell's got him and Simmons like, you know what, enough already, I'm.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Gonna nail them and I'm gonna knock it. He doesn't,
and then they have to make a play.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
They have to make a pass, and Jaden Daniels threw
a touchdown in the last thirty second of his fifth
different game this.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Season as a rookie. This was the fifth game.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
He threw a touchdown pass and the last thirty seconds
of a game in his first season.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
I'll end with this, They've got eleven wins.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Is the first time they've done it since nineteen ninety one.
They clinch a playoff berth in front of that home
fan base that has been so scarred and so tarnished
over the last two decades.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Take a moment, Washington fans.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
You don't have to sweat out Week eighteen unless you
want to talk about playoff seedings, which we will. And
Washington can still make a major jump if they want to,
or fall back with a loss. And Daniels, you are
a stud. I'm going to a quarterback, going to Baker Mayfield,
who after playing his heart out on Sunday night against
Dallas and.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Coming up short, it looked.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Like things are going awry, and then Baker just decides
to throw the ball all over field.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Look at this stat line at the.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Bottom twenty seven of thirty two for three point fifty
nine and five touchdowns. But look at the next Gen chart.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I asked for this.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
You know, I'm not a big stat I love that fit.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Let's go. I love this though. Look at this chart.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
It is a thing of beauty, green dots everywhere. Deep passes,
the incompletions are deep, the white ones white.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
The only compensions are ones that are ten yards or Mayfield.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
That's five touchdowns against the Blitz. It's the most in
a game by any quarterback since Mahomes did it in
twenty twenty two. Gosh, did I love watching Baker just
throw the ball all over the art.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I'll tell you what. Go one step further here. It
was fantasy championships last week.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Like you're talking about a lot of owners and fantasy.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Football wondering do I go with Bake? Do I go
with someone else? Baker Mayfield were a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Their fantasy football championship this year, and he hit it
in the biggest of moments. I don't know what's gonna
happen in the playoffs, but I'll tell you this, Baker
Mayfield was incredible this regular season.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
And it's not done yet.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
The Bucks haven't clinched that division, but they are one
went away from doing so.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Baker we see you.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
I would never count out Baker Mayfield again. I think
last Sunday Night's loss to Dallas could have been the
most devastating loss for a lot of teams.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
The Cowboys had already been eliminated.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Buccaneers just had to win and hold serve and then
the NFC South would be theirs in their control.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
And they came up short.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Mike McCarthy, whose team was already eliminated, gets the best
out of his guys and they beat the Buccaneers, and
you're like, here we go, same old Buccaneers. And then
Baker Mayfield answers with the best performance he's had this season.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Baker Mayfield's numbers as I.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Went gaga guey over Sam Darnold a last hour.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
He's the best quarterback in the NFC.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Baker Mayfield's now set career highs in passing yards with
four forty seven and passing touchdowns with thirty five. The
Panthers are a viable opponent. They've got a team that
fights hard and plays the Buccaneers.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
We're like, no, no, no, no, not today.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Tampa Bay absolutely rolled and for the second time in
three weeks, Baker Mayfield put a performance on screen. That's like,
I'm as good as any quarterback in the NFL. And
remember we do all this Saquon and Derrick Henry talk
when we talk about free agents, and Sam Darnold has
been Ballyhood is the best free agent sign. Baker was
a free agent this offseason. He signed a one year
small deal last year with Tampa for four million.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Any team could have signed Baker for big money.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
The Buccaneers were like, no, let's back up the brink trucks,
brinks truck and bring back Baker. Do you know how
hard it is to fill in for Tom Brady? Baker
Mayfield has not only done it well, he has done
it exceedingly well.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
The last two seasons.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Playoff berth last year, Divisional Round game last year. Sky's
the limit if the Buccaneers can play this way, and
Baker Mayfield has been the main reason why.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Hats off to Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
The Bucks now control their own destiny and they will
be hosting a home playoff game, not the Atlanta Falcons,
based on the way those two teams perform yesterday.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
What were the Giants doing yesterday?
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Because was there not like a team message that went
out or did that just exist on the internet. Hell no,
these are all right, our fifty three men who have
to provide for their family and the last thing they
care about is next year's crop of players that are
to come take their job. Every tweet from these Giants
players was incredible.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Jermaine illumin Or signed a massive contract.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
To me, it's like, thank you to all the Giants
fans who showed up, like.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
That's what we're gonna do.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
You're like, at the Giants fan, you're at home, like
what are you doing? But these players, they've got pride,
they've got they've got their own names on the back
of their jerseys. They weren't gonna lay down for anybody.
And it might set the Giants back four years, honestly
it might, but.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Hey, they got that went over the Colts.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
It might, and we've seen it you in and now
it works.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
The only time I remember, I mean, there.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Was a week sixteen or seventeen game between the Buccaneers
and the Saints where if the Bucks lost, they got
Jamis and I remember like the head coach from the
Buccaneers might have been Dirk Cutter, Like they didn't start anybody,
and it was like, oh, okay, there are.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Ways to hand. There are way you can do it,
get it done.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
If you've seen it between Texas and Bears yea years ago.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
And then as we see Joe Shane Check and Eric
woods hand and the Pegulas, you got to understand that
this is not the NBA. There are no guaranteed contracts.
And for Drew Locke, of course, I'm.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Gonna go out there and I'm gonna go gun it
and I'm gonna go in. Now, let's look at that
draft order one more time though, because what that did
was it puts the Patriots in the hot spot and
they don't need a quarterback.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
So does New England then trade back? Do they offer
a bounty to the Giants? Trade up?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
If you're the Titans, are you are you sure with
your second round pick Will Levice? If you're the Browns,
you just you just committed to Jamis for two more years.
Had a crazy big number, but it's not as much
as it was had you not restructured.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
And this could change, and this could all change next week.
But like, just look at it this way.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
The Giants of those first three teams are the only
pure team that absolutely needs a quarterback. Now, mind you,
the Raiders have won two games in a row, two
and they're like in the teams now.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
You can't make this up.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Peter Patriots versus Buffalo, that's gonna be probably Mitch Trubisky Buffalo,
Like that's a massive game. Yeah, And Jerrod Mayo just
got absolutely embarrassed on national TV.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
You can't win that. He's playing for his job in
a lot of ways. You can't lose forty to nothing
in that game.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
So I find it fascinating. The damage might not be
as bad as it felt because those first three teams
might not be in the market for a quarterback. So
Shradur Sanders, who wore Giants cleats after the game both
game and then he got blown out, you can't make
this stuff up. Every week on this show we hand
out the Coach of the Week award, and I am
(09:01):
so happy to give this week's award to the head
coach in Washington, Dan Quinn. We're head coach of the Week,
and I'll tell you what, Washington fans are pretty happy
with the results.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
This was a big one for DQ. Remember, longtime coach.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Of the Falcons just came up short twenty eight to three.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Went to the playoffs. The next year, just came up.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Short, lost of the Eagles in the playoffs, and dan
Quinn goes against the Falcons, his former team, and gets
the Washington Commanders their first eleven win season since nineteen
ninety one. The cast of characters on this team Bobby Wagner,
Frankie Luvu, Marcus Mariota, a bunch of veterans, zach Ertz,
(09:44):
and of course that rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who dan
Quinton's Day one said is the faiths of our franchise.
DQ went up against his former assistant Raheem Morris in
a game that both teams needed, and dan Quinn got
the best of them.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
DQ against his former team, clinches a playoff.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Birth and the eleventh win for the Commanders, and did
so in front of their home crowd.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Dan Quinn is our coach of the.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Week quarterbacks, and it's such a cool story for these two. Remember,
(10:30):
Jared Golf was traded for was essentially a bag of
footballs and the Rams would pay the Detroit Lions to
take him off his books. Then Sam Darnold was a
backup last year in San Francisco and signed for his
fourth team and did so on a one year deal
for ten million. And now as we head into week eighteen,
take a look at the numbers that these two have
put up through their first.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Seventeen weeks of the season.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
You were looking at two of the best quarterbacks in
the entire league, and you could argue the best two
quarterbacks in the NFC. The numbers tell a story. They're
all huge, and they're from both sides. Two quarterbacks that
previous teams well, they thought they could do better.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Then. The Jets, of course, moved on from Donald.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
The Panthers, of course moved on from Donald. The forty
nine ers, of course, stuck with Perty and didn't even
entertain the thought of giving Donald a big deal golf,
you know his Rams story, played in a Super Bowl,
and then after things went awry, they said, we're not
going to get over the top with this guy. They
went and got Matthew Stafford.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Here they are.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
But I want to look more specifically at Donald, because
Donald's doing something that I think of the last few months,
has been really excited.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
For this game. They're going to be on the road,
they're in Detroit, and they.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Might be trailing late, and I don't think it's a
problem because Sam Darnald has done something in the last
two months that has turned in from being this cool
story and this former third overall pick who's finally found
the right coach and team to like the most clutch
player in football.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Guys.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Sam Darnald has five game winning drives in the months
of November and December.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
This is the game in.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Chicago where he went ninety yards in overtime to get
his team a touchdown score.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
But it wasn't just that game. They did this in
week nine.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Then in consecutive weeks eleven, twelve, and thirteen they had
a game winning drive. And there was this one in
week fifteen in a game that everyone thought, all right,
the Seahawks, they've lost the game against the Packers, are
gonna come out and they'll be hot home.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
They were they.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Needed it, and Sam Donald's like, I got you, And
it wasn't check down run play. Sam Donald throws his
team to victory in all these games, five game winning ones,
and then we don't even count last week's. But you
go to week seventeen. The Packers are having this furious
comeback and Donald has to make a play and it's
third and two and Donald goes back and it's like,
(12:53):
all right, I've got to drop it right in the
bucket and cam Akers is there, and that doesn't even
count as a game winning or game tying drive. It
counts as Oh, here's Sam Donald just doing what he does,
getting the play done. Donald has been so good in
these fourth quarters, and I think if it comes down
to them being down laid against Detroit or them being
(13:15):
down ten points laid against Detroit, I think it's an
extra gear that the Vikings have found in Darnald.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
And it's not let's run the.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Ball to victory and let's just trust our defense. It's
this play here, a rollout on third and two that
he does hit the guy. I'm excited for the quarterback matchup.
I love both their stories. I think they're so emblematic
of both these franchises.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
And their fan bases.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
But I'm also really excited to see if the Vikings
are down late, if Sam Darnald can do it one
more time and secure that number one seed. Jamie, it's
a quarterbacks league, and the Vikings and the Lions they
both have them. One of my favorite segments we do
on this show is the Fab five. It celebrates the
best rookie performances of the week, and I can say
this objectively, this was the best week of rookie performances
(13:59):
this show has ever seen.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
The list was so long we had to narrow it down.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
To five players that there will be people at home
who are out raged not seeing one of their team's
best performances included on the list. Let's start righting number five.
And I always love the quarterbacks. I think it's the
hardest job in sports. And Michael Pennock and a loss
was absolutely fantastic. We have to give our flowers to
Michael Pennix junior the performance that he had and in
big spots.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
This team was down in.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
The fourth quarter and they decided to go for it
on a fourth and eleven and he hit Drake London
on a huge pass to move the chains. And then
with everything on the line, a season on the line,
the Falcons on a fourth and goal from the thirteen
yard line, decided to go for it and Pennix converts
on a touchdown pass to Kyle Pitt. Michael Pennix in
(14:49):
two starts has already shown that he is capable of
taking this team into the playoffs if Tampa Bay somehow
loses and.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Maybe even winning a game.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Pennicks so competent in this one he went and it
had two hundred and twenty three passing yards touchdown on
a seventy one passer rating. But the key was that
final drive. But al play sixty eight yard touchdown drive
to tie the game with a minute nineteen remaining in
his second career start and did it on primetime.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Michael PENNOCKX Junior, We see you make the list. Number five.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Number four, we go for a guy who is having
an all time rookie season from the running back spot
for the Temp Bay Buccaneers.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Bucky come on, Irvingcoons continues put up his pylon yards
and yards and yards. And in this game, Bucky Irving
ran for.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
One hundred and thirteen yards and he caught seventy seven receiving.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yards through the air. Guys, he had one hundred and
fifty plus scrimmage.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Yards for the third time this season. Look, he's already
gotten this record here. Look at this list most games
with one hundred and fifty scrimmage yards for a rookie,
and look at the.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
List he's on.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Ezekiel Elliott was offensive Rookie of the Years Dogs Peter
and Puka was breaking records for the Rams. And then
you've got Jamar Chase win historic season, Sakuan who had
a historic season, Kareem Hunt who is great.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
They then, of course Gurley who is a first round pick.
This is rare air.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Bucky Irving a fourth round pick out of Oregon. Unbelievable
to see Bucky the Duck on this list. But Bucky
Irving is doing it in that number seven, which we
always have.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
To do a double take. Liked hundred for net Just
wear that jersey. Yeah, Bucky Irving wears it now.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Fourth round pick, doing the job for the Buccaneer.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Will he be playoff Bucky, We don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
If we don't know yet, we had playoff Lenny, we
don't know about playoff Bucky.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
They have to beat the Saints to do so.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Number three is a guy who's putting up historic numbers
on one of the worst teams in football. But they
got to win on Sunday. Whether the fan base liked
it or not. Malik Neighbors was unstoppable Sunday against the
Colts for the Giants. Giants fans are torn here. This
cost him the number one overall pick unless some crazy
circumstance happens.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Is so Mu's be the tough I've worse rookie before.
We really like Youah.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
The Giants fan at home, they're like young at the screen.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Can I get on the field? Can I stop in
the leak names? Nobody tackle Neighbors?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
But you want to talk about a guy who's got
that dog in him and who does not care about
the future a team's draft order, but just wanted to
get a win and have a big performance in his
Neighbors seven catches, one seventy one and two receiving touchdowns.
And the coolest thing is how young he is. Molik
Neighbors is twenty one years old. Guys twenty one years old,
(17:22):
and he's tearing up the league.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
Look at this.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
He is one of just three rookies in NFL history
to have one hundred receptions.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Eleven hundred yards, eleven.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Hundred receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns in a season,
doing it on a dreadful Giants team with a combination
of Daniel Jones, Tommy DeVito and Drew Locke packing and
passing the ball to him. Milik Neighbors, It'll be forgotten.
It wanted to be mentioned if the season has done
one of the great all time rookie seasons. From a
wide receiver, salute to you getting a win.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
I love the Pooka keeps coming up on UCA. Great
was who is her? Last year? Ucah's amazing? All right?
So now we got two left.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Lad McConkie had a huge, huge money Jared versus one
huge wee. Can Ca had a game ceiling interception that
was huge. None of those guys make the list. Denver's
bon Knicks and a loss is making the list. Bon
Nicks was amazing in this game. Burrow got the win,
but bow Knicks would not quit. And I want to
(18:22):
go to Kevin Harlan who told the story of bo
Nicks's amazing performance Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati. Take a listen
to these calls of these amazing touchdown passes.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Biggest NFL game he's played in, first and ten. Good time.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Mcclenchy a block going deep, Bonis got him, He's got
Mims touchdown.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
The Broncos have come back again.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
M Knicks will throw it it is it is caught touchdown,
Mims got the ball.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Who what to play by? Bonicks?
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I love that Mims called the ball, and we saw
some Sam Cassell there.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
On the cliff too. At the end there men's caught
the ball.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
It's like it's John Havlicheck and Johnny motes to calling
Hala Jax, doll the ball, Hala Jax now the ball.
And every time you thought the Bengals gonna put this
game away, bow Knicks had a response.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Man.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Bow Knicks was awesome in this game.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
And if you take a look at this.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Quarterbacks with three plus game tying pass touchdowns in the
second half all time in a single game, he joins
just three other players, and he's the only NFL rookie
to ever do it.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
That's what.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
He had, three different game tying passing touchdowns in the second.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Half of that game.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
It wasn't enough, But bo Knicks, we'll see you this
weekend going up against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Number one, What do you want me to do here?
Jayden Daniels Again, Jayden Daniels was.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Running away with the Offensive Rookie of the Year war
In a different season, you might even be talking about
him as the MVP of the Teak that's how big
he's been for Jayden Daniels and for his game winning touchdown.
I take great joy in throwing to the wonderful Mike
Tarico and Chris Collinsworth for the call of his game
winning touchdown.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
To friend of the show Zach Ertz.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Jaydon Daniels is the touchdown Zackertz takes Washington to the playoffs.
Jayden Daniels has done it again.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
The numbers in this game are incredible.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Twenty four of thirty six for two hundred and twenty
seven passing yards are three touchdowns. He also ran the
ball sixteen times for one hundred and twenty seven yards
one hundred and twenty seven yards on the ground, and
he was taking hits.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
He took huge licks.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
To take a look at this board right here. Any player,
not just rookie, any player to have three passing touchdowns
one hundred and twenty five rushing yards in a game.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
They've only got them. Or Ton wrote, come on, we
love Tobin Rode fifty one.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Tobin wrote with before bart Star, that's how deep we go.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
But Vic Fields, of course had great.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Rushing days and throwing days in Chicago.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
But Jayden Dana's on the list. Here's the list, the
top five.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
There were many, many rookie performances.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
If you are at.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Home and you are outraged that we included others, this
is how it came out from me.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
I'm just one man and an.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
I amho in my humble opinion, this is my top five.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
Rookies of the week. I would love it more than anything.
If Went is taken out in a.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Close game and we see chris Ola Dokin, chris Ola Dokan,
the third string quarterback on the Kansas City's Chiefs, who
I believe is going.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
To dress for this game.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
If my homes is out, and if chris Ola Dokin
is the one who dictates whether an NFL franchise worth.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Billions and billions of dollars makes the playoffs or not.
If you're a.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Dolphins fan, if you're a Bengals fan and you are
watching with white knuckles on Sunday and seeing if your
team is be able to get into the playoff and
has a shot.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
It might come down to chris Ola.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Dokin, the former South Dakota jack Rabbit.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
I love this story.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I love it more than anything because it shows you
how beautiful the NFL script could be and how no
one can write it. It might come down to Chris
Ola Dokin in the fourth quarter, and I hope it does.
I'm going down to Jersey and it's as simple as this.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
The new year.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
New Year's resolution is this, Jets, no more leaks, figure
it out, no more leaks, agreement. There should be no
more media leaks out of that building.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
It is a problem. It is a problem for years.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Find the rat, get them out, find the mole, get
them out. New regime coming in, right, new GM, new coach,
maybe new quarterback. We don't know about that. Let's also
try to find it where there's no more leaks in
the building. Let's try to figure out who is reporting
and who is giving all these things to reporters like me,
But who is the one talking and running their mouths
(23:02):
and giving all the solations.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Details North Jersey were supposed to know how to deal
with rat. That's what I'm saying, Jimmy al Tierry, come on, Adriana.
Who I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Is let's take those leaks and let's bury them outside
the stadium, if you know.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
What I mean.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
No more leaks in twenty twenty five, Jets, new beginnings
and hopefully no.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
More salacious stories.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
