Speaker 1 (00:07):
The Season with Peter Schreeger is a production of the
NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio. What's Up, Everybody? This is
Peter Schreger. Earlier in the week I recorded with Mike Garrafolo.

(00:28):
It's a long, meaty, emptier notebook podcast. Really proud of it.
I think we hit all the key points and we
recapped the important Ian Rappaport Jordan Schultz altercation which mike'
saw first hand. But I also was at the combine
and had some really good interviews, so you figure we
put them on the podcast feed. You can listen to
them from the key personnel and key decision makers themselves.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
So with no.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Further ado, here is interviews with the GM of the
number one overall pick right now, that is Titans GM
Mike Borganzi, in an interview with the head coach of
the number two overall pick, mister Kevin Stefanski, the Cleveland Browns.
We'll put them back to back.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Here's Borganzi and here is the fan ski enjoy excited
here to have the first year new GM of the
Tennessee Titans after sixteen years with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mike Borganzi is now the general manager of the Tennessee
Titans and just happened to have the first overall pick.
Has this week been an absolute whirlwind? Or are we
good and we're settled and we're ready to just get

(01:27):
after this offseason. We're good.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
The whole month has been a little bit of a WorldWind,
just getting settled in. Just meet with the staff here
over the last month and meetings. So when you show
up here, is this feels normal now that we're here,
But it's just really creating that synergy with the staff
through the meetings and now this is just another really
touch point for us.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
First overall pick. We haven't seen um Duel Carter, we
did not see gent, we are not seeing cam Ward
or Shador throw, and Travis Hunter didn't work out of
the defensive backs first overall pick. So much weighing on
you guys holding the keys. Have you at least started
having conversations where we're gonna be narrowing down position or
maybe even player. At this point in the process, it's
still Lily Peter, but it's a process.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
So we have this one touch point here. There'll be
protas that we go to private workouts, thirty day visits,
so we're gonna take the entire process. This is an
important pick here, number one pick in the draft, so
we're not taking that lightly. So you know, this is
this is part of the process here, kind of like
phase one for us here in.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
The quarterback position. We'll see Obviously we can go free agency,
we can go trade. Those conversations I'm sure are being
had as well.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
We've had those discussions, but once again, we need to
gather more information here over the next month, so we'll
get to sit down. It's the first time really we've
got to sit down some of these guys that we
haven't seen before. So you know, it was good to
get them in an enview process here this week, even
though some of them didn't work out, but we'll have
time to visit with them here over the next month.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
How many rings with the Chiefs?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Three?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Pretty good, okay, guys, Mike Burgonzi, GM of the Titans,
Thanks so much, Mike. Kevin Sefanski, coach of the Browns.
We do know you guys have the second overall pick.
We also know the quarterbacks are about to warm up.
You've been to quite a few of these What are
you looking for in a combine workout when potentially quarterback
is the position of need. At number two, I think.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
You're looking at all these guys how the ball comes
out of their hand. The nice part is that you
get to compare apples to apples. Everybody throws one after
the other. These receivers run one after the other, so
you see how they come off the ball. So it's
great to have them all in the field at the
same time.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Number two overall pick, of course, Well, you met with
all these guys as a as a whole, this quarterback
class and the guys you got to meet with. What's
your impressions?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Very very impressive really the meetings, just their understanding of
the game, their passion for the game you put on
the tape. I think the tape's evident that there's some
great players. So it's an exciting time to be down here,
to get up close and personal and see these guys.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Absolutely, as we wrap a message for Browns fans watching,
they're obviously looking seeing their head coach camera. What is
your message for them as we head towards the twenty
twenty five offseason.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Yeah, we're working hard. The good news is that second
overall pick, there's gonna be a really good football player
there and then throughout this draft. So we're going to
add to our football team. Andrew Berry and crew are
working very hard. We're going to do the same to
make sure that we're having some quality players this roster.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
All right, Kevin Stefanski, coach of the Browns, thanks for
coming down here on the field.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
We're going to be going right back up to.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Chris Rose up at the concourse. The Season with Peter
Schrager is a production of the NFL and partnership with iHeartRadio.
