The Friend Show is one feels happystories every day on this show canley what
you find. So this is actuallya follow up to a story I did
the other day. But a homelessman who saved a baby from rolling into
speeding traffic in California now has anew job. So if you missed the
crazy video showed that just says thestroller was seconds away from hitting literal moving

(00:22):
traffic. The man suddenly dashes overand grabs the handle just in time.
At first, his name wasn't beingreported, but now we know that his
name is Ronald Nessman, and hesays he's been living with his sister for
the last several months. He wasa truck driver who fell on hard times
and was homeless for about eight yearsdue in part to suffering from depression following
the death of his longtime girlfriend. Will now because of this story, late

(00:44):
last week, he got a phonecall with a job offer from Applebee's.
So you do something good with noexpectations and something good comes back. Yeah,
I have two. The first one'squick. I want to shout out
my friend. His name is RandyWilliam. He goes by rambling Randy or
our dub. He's a radio guy. And he just visited country one ninety

(01:07):
three out of one hundred and ninetythree un recognized country. So he's been
to every country in the world.Wow, well, Turkmenistan it was the
last one. That one too.Yeah, something about COVID and visas.
But he's been. He's been ifyou can think of it. He's been
there, North Korea, Russia,h every anywhere, Venezuela, all places

(01:32):
that are really Cuba, he's beeneverywhere. One hundred and ninety three countries.
He just got there yesterday. He'sone one hundred and ninety third country.
And he's the guy that inspired mebecause he's a radio guy um to
start traveling again. Because my wholething was like, how do you do
this? Because he didn't like thelast I don't know, ten years or
something. He's a relatively young guy. I'm like, how do you do
this with our schedule? And he'slike, if I got three days,

(01:53):
I'll go anywhere in the world. If I've got three days, you won't
be there for long, but you'llget to see it and then you Now
he's got the rest of his lifeto decide which places he wants to go
back and really explore. I thinkit's pretty amazing. And he does a
lot of it on credit card milestwo, which is the other part.
He's always in first class. I'mlike, dude, how much money they're
paying you over there and hiring ChristianBowers has announced syndrome, but he likes

(02:15):
to do normal guy stuff like goBullingham, play video games. But while
making friends was never hard for theyoung man, now he's twenty four,
he finished school and he's finding that, as I guess a lot of people
would down syndrome do, it's notas easy to maintain a social life.
We're not in school anymore. Sohis mom saw him sink further and further
into depression and put a Facebook postup in Rochester, Minnesota, asked if

(02:38):
anybody would be interesting and hanging outwith him for two hours, and they
she would pay them eighty dollars. So she left the night shift, checked
her account to find that five thousandpeople had commented. And now he has
seven new friends that rotate every singleday to hang out with him. And
of course they don't want they don'twant any money. So I think that

(02:59):
is so sweet. Who says akid with I think does is kid with
down Synder might follow one on TikTok. He got like more super famous.
It's really an inspiring story. Sisterdoes the TikTok. Someone will tell me
it's a good follow though. Andthe mowing guy must be mowing. Gotta
follow him too, waiting by thephone. He's next.
