Por ejemplo: darse cuenta de, echar de menos, estar por, o dejar de, etc. Sin embargo, la cantidad de verbos compuestos en español no es nada comparada a la cantidad de verbos compuestos en inglés. ¿Cuántos phrasal verbs, o verbos compuestos, hay en inglés? Según lingüisticas, existen entre cinco mil y diez mil!
Esa cifra es aún más impresionante cuando consideramos que hay entre sesenta mil y cien mil verbos en inglés. Eso quiere decir que uno de cada diez verbos es un phrasal verb.
