Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good Morning, Happy Friday. That's Sabrina Carpenter. I'm obsessed with her.

(00:04):
We're live on Tampa Bay's number one and only hit
music channel ninety three three fl Z. I think Jed's
completely right by this, because I didn't receive any of
this here either. You think Christmas pictures and cards and
all of that, receiving a Christmas card is is like
a thing of the past. Is that true? Eight hundred
four oh nine ninety three ninety three? Did you take
pictures this year? Did you send out cards? Eight hundred

(00:27):
four ohn nine ninety three ninety three context in at
ninety seven seven two zero.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Unfortunately, Joe, I do think that there are some Christmas
traditions that are slowly dying, Christmas cards being one of them.
I remember every single year my mom, uh I shouldn't
say my mom Our whole entire family would go to
like the J. C. Penny do the photo shoot, and
then you would send out a Christmas card. I ashlely,
I'm not kidding you. Yesterday I look in my mailbox.
It's December twelfth, as we're saying this, I still haven't

(00:53):
received a Christmas card.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Anybody right, I haven't seen any family photo cards in
the mill either, and I usually get them my best friends.
They usually send photos of them and their kids. I've
not received one. That's sad.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
No, I'm sad. We got to bring that back because
I love those things.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
We do, but we also don't What do you mean, well, like,
I don't know. I have no interest in doing it.
Does it make sense? Like I like to get them, but.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
I don't really don't want to be a part of it.
You don't want to take photos holiday photos.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
I just feel goofy doing it.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Oh, I can't wait till you have a kid.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
It would probably be just to the kid. No, my
thing is my weight fluctuates. So I don't like taking
pictures because either I'm skinny and then I'll look back
on it and go, oh, I got faed again, Or
I'll get skinny and then I look at it and
I go, why do we take these? One? Oh goodness,
that makes sense?

Speaker 5 (01:45):
Yeah, just dressed up as Santa every year?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
No one likes it. Skinny Sanna. They don't, And I
don't get big enough to where it makes sense. You
ever going to like an international? They had a really
skinny Santa. The other day. You shouldn't be that way,
and we gotta we gotta figure this out, Santa.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, yeah, I'm with the photos. We need to bring
those back. I love those. My grandma usually sent one.
She hadn't sent one.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I haven't. I have not received a single Christmas card.
It does kind of make me sad.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
Yeah, because I like it.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Oh here Nicole, Nicole, love you in Saint Pete.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Oh hello, hellos, everybody.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
How are you.

Speaker 6 (02:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I'm doing really good. I'm doing really good.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
And you send out Christmas cards? Right? I do?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I do?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
So.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I recently got married last year and I kind of
felt like, oh I finally enjoyed like the big league. Yeah,
and send out like the traditional like couple like Christmas
cards where you go and do a photo shoot and
then like send it all out and stuff like that.
But I'm always saying the post cards.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah huh, all right, And and any advice for when
I have kids and I do it.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Just to have fun with it, you know, like you
don't have to do like anything that's like like you
can go to like J C. Pennies and do like
those kind of like really funky and fun I normally
do once from like one big vacation that I took
each year.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
So this year I went to Boston and then I
took photos in Nicole.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
What's that? What was the what was the place we'd
go to in the mall that you would take the
pictures with like that they had props and stuff.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Oh, where is that? I forgot the name of it?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I'm looking. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, I haven't done.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yeah, I don't think it exists anymore.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
No, No, they don't. I kind of feel like there's
like pop up shops of like different varieties now. So honestly,
I kind of feel like, just walking the mall you'll
be able to find it. But I know J C.
Pennies for sure, they'll do it.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
You know what. I might have to get on that, Nicole. Yeah,
and hey, next year, can I get on your Christmas
card list?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Absolutely? Can I find the address on the iHeartRadio app?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I wonder do we have the address on the iHeart radio?
But I think we have a link to the website
that has it. But uh, yeah, Nicole, send me one
and I'll put it on my fridge because I love that, Nicole.
We'll talk to you later. David, you believe you know
why Christmas cards are kind of the thing in the past.
What is it?

Speaker 7 (04:25):
I think it's social media.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
We're already putting as it is.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
Yeah, everybody post their family photos to get done for
the holidays right there, and the whole family sees it.
They don't need to send it in the mail. Nobody
needs to wait for it.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
It's is there.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Well, I want it because I want to put it
on refrigerator.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
I hear that, I hear that.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
I mean, but I've recently been going back.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
I last week I went to when I go CBS,
and I've been pretty much dressed.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
How much are you on your phone during the day?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
People?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
We need to We.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Need these physical pictures for our children in the future
so they can have them.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Get rich, get rich and get one of those fridges
with the.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Screen.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Thank you, David, Laura.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Yes, good morning.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
How y'all doing.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Listen when I hear you, it's going to be a
fantastic morning. And you still send out those Christmas photos.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
I do not photos. I send Christmas cards at the
real close friends and family. I've got one girlfriend in Canada.
I send her one every year. But I got to
do it.

Speaker 7 (05:39):
Sooner than usual.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
But I don't take a good photo, so you ain't
get one of.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Those negatively about yourself one more time. I'm done.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Oh my god, I take a terrible pictureself.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I don't believe that I'm not taking that.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
I can't.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
And you know what, and you know what, Santa Claus
is getting skinnier so he can get down the chimney easier.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
That is okay, all right? That like Santa see. I
wish we could. You know how long I've been contacting
him to get him on the air. I can't figure
it out. But I always thought that when he goes
down the chimney, he has some sort of way to
shrink himself. And then he goes down and then if
you ever seen that talk in the chimney, it's because

(06:28):
he forgot that he did it, and then he just
gets a little bit too big, too.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Ate, too many cookies way out.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
He's kind he's kind of like a snake. He's like
a snake. He knows how to make himself minimal.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
And go for Yeah, maybe he can, like he can
his bones like shrink or something. I don't know. Laura,
thank you so much, And if anyone does, you too,
if anyone has contact information to get a hold of Santo.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
You always want to get him on the line during
the busiest time of the year. Bro, he's checking his list,
checking it twice, making kids are good and bad right now.
Can't get on a line with us. Maybe I know
in October we heat chilling a little bit, that's true.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
