Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm happy that Aaron walked in here. We always love
when Aaron is in here. Aaron Jacobson, w Dae, Pat
and Aaron every morning. So Ashley brought up the email
that we always get, So I want to get everyone's
take on kotcha doing something good. We have this thing

(00:21):
that goes around every single week where it's an email reminder. Hey,
we send it to Teresa, right yeaheah, So you hear
us talk about Teresa all the time too. Teresa literally
is the reason why we have a building. You send
to her like what someone did, Like, hey, you know
Aaron refilled the water, shout out to him. And then

(00:42):
it gets it gets spread, you know, to everyone. I
think it's to incentivize doing something good.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
You said, coughta doing something bad. I would literally go
into the kitchen and I want to know. I caught
someone who didn't clean off the microwave, so let's put
him on bless snitch. No, you're not cleaning out the microwave.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Bro like that doing this?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Why Why should he's saying snitch, Ashley because it was him?

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Yeah, I know, I just always go by backyard rules.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Snitches good stitches. You heard that. I have.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I'm doing it for the better of office.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Eight hundred four, nine ninety three, ninety three. I want
to know if you could fill us in on something bad.
Caught you doing something bad? What is the worst thing
that you saw at work? Or maybe you were out
at like the gas station and you saw someone you know,
rub their nads and then touch the pump. I don't know,
eight hundred four, think about it. Actually someone's done it.

(01:42):
You inadvertently have touched someone's nds.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I know, I feel yep.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Eight hundred four and nine ninety three. For example, if
you ever touch any of these buttons, I know eight
hundred four ninety three ninety three caught you doing something bad?
Dononet see anything bad lately? Come on something bad at
work and when doing something that they're not supposed to
be doing. Oh, I'll tell you what I saw.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Because so we have like a little promotions closet where
we keep all of our prizes in everything that we
give a way at, like remotes and stuff. So we
have a little fridge in there, and they have alcoholic beverages.
And I noticed that there is somebody in the office
who's been taking them and drinking them at work and
they've been taking them, pouring them, and they're like, oh yeah,
so you'll never know if they're drinking. I know this

(02:28):
person is. I do, but I don't want to out
there because then it's like, okay, you're drinking at work.
It's my fine line of like, I can't really do that.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I genuinely, I'm not just saying this for sake of conversation.
I genuinely believe that we're adults everywhere at work should
be okay with one cocktail a day like that.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
I walked into somebody doing a swiping on the tinders
while we're working, constantly swiping on Tinder. I don't think
that should be allowed. Caught you doing something bad?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I caught someone hot boxing in the parking lot.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Whoa, whoa? You went from zero to you know?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
I did? Are you snitching again?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I want to see yesterday. It was very funny. After
the show, we ran into an issue with something and
Jed and Terry needed to bring it up to Nicky
and Jed wasn't here, so Terry had to and gets

(03:30):
very uncomfortable with confrontation or anything. It wasn't a Nicky
was the one who was going to resolve everything Terry,
caught you doing something bad, go ahead and rat out
people right now, Let's see if you can do it.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
I don't feel like I have anything to say. You
wait erin almost this is not Aaron caught him doing
something bad. He didn't yield one day and he almost
ran into me one morning.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
Is that no? No, okay, no, no, no the green arrow?
What you do know is no, no, that was not on me.
Somebody somebody almost hit me coming at hurt and yeah
maybe maybe no, no almost, So wait, what happened?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
What I yielded? I yielded what lawn.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
The brakes at the last second. But I'm one of
those people too. I'm like, you're gonna end up paying
for my student loans, so I'm gonna keep driving. So
that was with the light to turn left to the
building and it's like five twenty in the morning. And
you know how like if you're coming from the other
said you have to yield.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Yeah he didn't you rooted for me to hit you
to pay off you honestly after off the car insurance. Yeah,
by the way, I yielded fast enough. I did not
slam those slams.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
I was like he did something that he almost ran into.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Me, all right, And by the way, always gonna have
Terry's back, but I'm also always gonna have your back. Yeah,
it's a tough one. So my brain kind of hurt. Now,
let's argue on Aaron's side. Terry, you drive like an
insane person. Drive. You drive like someone's having a medical
emergency in your card. You gotta go to the hospital.

(05:00):
Which were driving crazy? I feel like she's driving. No,
it was somebody had almost hit me, so I can't
put it on her. But I did not almost I
did not slam no slamka and snitch snitch snitch. This
is one of my favorite ones. Caught she doing something bad.
Someone almost caused an accident on Olmerton getting off of
Roosevelt turning on to Olmerton. A bad accident, a very

(05:23):
bad accident. Two cars almost hit this one car that
was driving insane. The reason why I know this is
I wasn't on Olmerton. I was at work because all
three of those cars drove into the building and they
all three work here. Nick Wise almost got like when
he came in. Jamie will definitely call out people. Get

(05:44):
Jamie here too, Jamie get it here. Yeah, you're right here.
This is like the super Bowl for him. Yeah, this
is the best I've got, the best topic we've ever done. No, no, no, no,
let me break it to him. We're doing that. We're
doing the topic that this is gonna be your favorite
moment ever. And you can sit back and you can
take as much time as you want. I'll move commercials

(06:06):
if we need, We'll move the cash that you can
win at nine twenty five for you, you know, Caught
you doing something good? Yeah, the email Ashley wants to do.
Caughtcha doing something bad?

Speaker 9 (06:17):
I do.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
So if you want, go ahead, caught you doing something bad?
Don't use names unless you want to. What are the
bad things that you've seen lately? Uh, there's one AE.

Speaker 9 (06:34):
I don't know who it is based off of voice,
it's really hard to tell. Consistently goes to the bathroom
to go like number two or even number one for
that matter, and it's just on his phone the entire time.
I'm like, how are you doing this? At the same time, like,
if you're doing one, are you supposed to?

Speaker 2 (06:51):
You know?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah? And then I like it?

Speaker 3 (06:54):
No, I like it.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
I love talking while pop I do. I've been on
the phone with you.

Speaker 9 (07:00):
Well, whoever it is, I wouldn't be surprised whoever it
is when they go number one and they kind of like,
you know, all over the floor.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Definitely.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
We talked about that yesterday. Thank you for bringing that up.
Have you noticed that at the Urinal No, I don't
do the journal. I'm not a urinal guy. What do
you mean? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Privacy, right, privacy.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
He likes to sitting down. Do you do you stand
up when you go.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
To I like to do like a two for one
special type of deal and like kind of relax after
the show. Okay, but if you only have to go pee, oh,
I never only have to go I have a bad stomach.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
You and I talk and something and I both go.
It's the best because there has been a really I
don't know what's going on. Hopefully no one's got anything
medically going on, and if they do, they should figure
it out, because it's it's turning into a pool. It's
that bad. It's you really haven't seen it. Just turn

(08:06):
to your left the next thing you're walking into this.

Speaker 9 (08:07):
There was one time that I thought that the Urino
was like backed up broken. No, it was just people.
Thank you, How do you miss a giant hole like that.
It's to the point where and don't they still do
the feedback committee?

Speaker 5 (08:19):
Right?

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Yes, they they need to ask for you know what,
they need to ask for the mats. They have mats
in some public restaurants. No, no, I did not know that.
I didn't either. I made that up. And we should
get we should get that something's happening.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
But it's going to be on the mat. You just
want people to pee there.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
I suppose that it wouldn't make any sense because my
whole thing is.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
It would like so exactly, who's going to carry that
out and wash it? You're going to be doing the.

Speaker 9 (08:44):
Out?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Oh no, I'm I'm just an idea guy.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Okay, bad idea, A bad idea, back to the drying board.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Not all of them are that good. And then people
just be adults. And he still wants to go keep
doing same thing. The ones that like have the cha
or the zen things and they him in the year.
I don't think it's him.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I don't think it's somebody else in the building doesn't know.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
You do him in cups? Are you in again? Wow?

Speaker 3 (09:08):
He didn't even tell us?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Yeah, thank you?

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Wow, you didn't even tell us.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
I guess it's a lot better than ripping darts. Have
you had his z in yet? No? You would love
it next weekend.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
There my guy.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
No, Aaron won't partake.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Stunt to growth.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Yeah, I don't toss him in the urinal, but respect that.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah he does. You're a lot of vape in the building.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
Is that part of cotch? You're doing something bad. I've
seen our big big bosses vape in the building.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
So if they get to do it, actually, if they
get to do it, we probably aren't still allowed to
do it, but I think they're okay with us doing it.
I just heard him doing it. Soon people go out
on the outside the vape. Did you get everything out
that you needed to or do you have more? Catch
you doing something bad?

Speaker 9 (09:59):
I mean talking about the big bosses. I've spent two
and a half hours in a meeting with one that
was ripping a vape.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
So you know we have the best man. We do work.
I genuinely think we do work at like the greatest
place of all time. But that's just me. What were
you gonna say, I'll never forget.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Well, I'll never forget when I was working in another
city and my boss was doing coke.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
How'd you know he's doing coke a line in front
of you.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yeah, And it was at a show and you could
just tell, like he yelled at us. It was crazy.
I'll never forget that day.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yelled at you angry.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yes, he was coked up. Bro.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Well, I don't know. Sometimes they're like, hey, I gotta
be honest with you.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
I love you.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
God.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
No, it was like, oh, I will never forget that.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
When I first got into.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Radio, was I on that station at some point? You were?
That was before my time, though, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
It's crazy. I'll never get him yelling at me.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
I was on the side of the stage and Dimmi
Lovado was supposed to go on stage, and he was like,
where is Demmie Levado.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
It's raging all of a sudden because no one cared,
No one knows. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna play song
so I can off the air ask who the hell
that was

Stuff You Should Know
Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
