Speaker 1 (00:00):
People listen to the show, and I said, it kind
of just depends on the commute, right, It kind of
depends on what they're doing. Can they listen live or
do they have to listen to the replay? Some people
listen for I don't know, how long do you listen
to the show? Kind of want to know about that
nine seven seven two zero. You could text them how
often are you in the car? The other thing with
that though, is you know, I said, I said, you know,

(00:22):
while there's people who listened there for like five minutes.
And then if they do, I hope you have our
iHeartRadio app and you stream our podcast because you can
listen back to it while you're, you know, doing some
errands and whatnot throughout the day or whatever you got
going on. If you listen to podcasts, give us a try.
Search the Joe Show in ninety three three FLZ We've
got you know on the iHeart app.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
But also Spotify.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Saw a lot of people sharing their Spotify raps and
we were in that, which was super cool. But maybe
you listen for all four hours? I told that person
that I go, there are people who they are in
the car the whole entire time. They work on the road,
And I want to know, do you work on the

(01:03):
road eight hundred and four oh nine ninety three ninety three?
Is your job in the car? My brother over the
summer was a medical device sales intern and he is
probably going to make that a full time profession. He
loved being in the car. He loved the freedom of

(01:24):
being able to listen to music while he's driving, or
you know, listen to the podcast that he likes. And
then you go in and he said that you meet
a lot of cool people because you're consistently moving. You
know these people, they they do advertise on ninety three
three FLZ, which is amazing. I do not get paid

(01:46):
by them or anything, and I'm actually paying them for
doing this right now. But I know Jet's down helping
me out with giving them the keys and everything. But
talked about it yesterday. I got that crack in my
windshields and now the glass doctors they're they're fixing my
windshield and you know, I'm paying for this and all
of that. So as we're commercial free, I do I
want you to think that this is a commercial at all.
But when I got the call from uh Jeff this morning,

(02:12):
he's like, hey, I'm here. It made me go Jeff's
probably got an awesome job. Maybe maybe, I don't know.
I want to hear more about. Oh he's in here.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I swear to god it and not playing this at all.
Do you mind coming on the air with us? I
guess yeah. Can I Jeff sit down?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
So Jeff from the Glass Doctors is here is what
do you think about the windshield?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
That's pretty big crack, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Oh yeah, it's in the driver view it too, so
while I it kind of grew too and I'm like,
oh no, this is can windshields just shatter? By the way,
if I waited too long, could it shatter? So it's
it's a laminated glass. So it's designed to stay together.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Okay, thank god, because that made me a little nervous.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah, you could literally, like a rock could go through
it and you'd be fine. Like it goes through it
and I it stays together. Okay, it's a it's a
safety glass. Thank god. Well, thank you for being here.
I was just talking about as you were coming up,
how cool it's got to be to work on the road,

(03:13):
Like is it fun to be able to drive around
and instead of being like stuck in an office.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah, you do. You do get to see a lot
of things. But also there's a lot of crazy people
on the road, are there. Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Hey, when you get a call and you hear like,
oh I gotta go here? What is what is the
most frustrating road to be on? What road are you
sitting in? Maybe a little bit too much traffic? I
always say it's Olmerton. I say it's the road that
you're on.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Olmerton's pretty bad. But it depends on what time.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah, so oh yeah, you had every stop? Yeah I four. Yeah,
and you probably see a lot of interesting things too.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Oh yes.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
So we've got Jeff and from the Glass Doctors, who
he had no idea that he was going to be
coming up here and none. But let's take some calls
together and take some calls out other people on the road.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I love this. Hey, Michael, Hey, how's it going, Joe?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Michael? You're a semi truck driver. But if you're ever
in your personal car and you get a crack called
the Glass Doctors but anyways, local.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Semck funny that you got the Glass Doctor on in
my semi truck. I think I've been having a bad
luck streak I've been going through about I don't know,
like a windshield every like two months.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Is like the average right now.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Hey, Jeff, sounds like we got to fix some glass
with Michael. Michael. I'll get you connected with him.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
But while you're driving, you're on the road from eight
am until four pm.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Do you enjoy the road?

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Oh my gosh, yes, I could never go back to
office life. Never.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Is it the freedom? Is it the ability to not
be around anyone? Is it the the awesomeness of just
like going to new places? What is so great a
about it?

Speaker 4 (05:02):
It's all the above. You know.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Before I was driving, I used to wonder how people
could even listen to podcasts, Like who has time for that?
Now you know, I can keep up with a bunch.
So I start off my day with.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
The Joe Show. You can do a little kill Tony Y. Yeah,
and I get paid to do that all day, so
it's pretty awesome. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
By the way, the new regular, the new Golden Ticket winner, Michael.
I'm blinking at his name, the black dude with the
cool haircut.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I like Quinn.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, yeah, he's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Oh yeah, he's got a crazy energy. Love him.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yeah, Michael, we got we got a lot we got
to talk about.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
So Colin Moore, all right, take it each Joe.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Later, thanks for listening to us. By the way, Hey, Victoria,
you're on with the Joe Show. And also Jeff from
The Glass Doctor, who they are the greatest.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I love him. Go ahead, Hey, y, go ahead? What's
going on? To talk to me about working on the road.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
I actually don't work on the road. But this is
gonna be so funny. If my husband's listening. He works
for an event rental company, and he starts your show
at like six am before he even leaves the house.
So he plays you all day and looks like before
he leaves the house and then plays you in his
truck with his coworkers literally all day that now he

(06:31):
has me streaming.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
What yeah, Now he's like, oh my god, my wife's
son here, Victoria.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
What's your husband's name.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
His name's Tristan.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Hey, Tristan Christmas is on the way. Your wife better

So I'm gonna call back because I think we both.

Speaker 4 (07:15):

Speaker 1 (07:16):
We'll find out if you do. By the way, Jeff,
we're giving away seven.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
In an hour.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Really yeah, maybe, So you have to guess a sound.
We play a sound, and then you got to tell
us what you want to hear. The sound I'll play
for Jeff. You want to hear it, just.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Don't guess what it is. Well, let's all right, let's
see if he hears it. If you can go okay,
I would know what it is. Here, I'll play for
you and then you just have to guess and then
you could win that cash.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah, think about that. You got an hour to think
about it, Jeff. Last one because of the iHeartRadio up
and we love it. And you know, we people who
live here in Florida. And then you might unfortunately have
to move away for whatever reason. And Carissa, you moved
to Kentucky and you still listen to us.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Hie, Yes, I love every day. I's a segment.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I listened to it the greatest. Are you on the
road all the time.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
I drive my daughter to school every morning, and it's
about fifty minutes one way. I get a good yeah
from six forty five till about eight forty five, and
then if I get home, I keep listening.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
So, Carissa, we're about to add someone on the show.
We're gous someone brand new on the show, which is
going to be exciting. We're kind of like figuring out
the times that we're going to do things. What is
the one thing you love listening to that we cannot
get rid of?

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Left on Red? Okay, I send it to everybody I know.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I love it. And then what is your least favorite?
And just be honest, it's okay.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
