Speaker 1 (00:00):
Realistically, if you committed a crime, how long do you
think you could get away with it? Eight hundred and
four on the ninety three ninety three. If you've committed
a crime and no one knows, you don't even have
to tell us what you did. But if you want
to call in right now and say, listen, I did it.
You know a couple of months ago, no one, ohs
I did a couple of years ago, no one knows.
Call into the Joe Show, eleven ninety three, three FLZ.

(00:22):
I gotta tell you that because I don't want you
to think we're the police. Right now, there's no way
that we can track you or anything like that, and
if there was, we're not going to do it, because
I really want honesty on this now. Why am I
bringing this up. I've got an obsession with true crime.
I've got an obsession with documentaries. I really do get
a lot of enjoyment out of what And I don't

(00:44):
know it's a sick human being type of thing, but
I really do murder, mysteries, heists, anything like that. I
know you do too, Ash, Sure, I know you do too.
Whenever we watch a good one, we come in here
and we'll talk. We talked about the BTK documentary on
Netflix a couple of days ago to kick off the show.

(01:05):
That one's crazy right now. This guy got away with
it for about forty years. Thirty forty years, had a
whole on family while he was doing stuff. He was
an ego maniac. I think he wanted to get caught
at some point to get credit for what he did. Yeah,
because I think he wanted to be like known. Yeah,
he wanted the fame. He got away with it. If

(01:28):
he just kept his mouth shut, no one would have
ever known. Realistically, and maybe we do need a time
machine for this, because I don't think people can get
away with murder anymore. I think there's too much technology
to where people can figure it out. And thank god
that that's the case. A lot of this exactly, Like
you're always on camera all that stuff. How long do

(01:53):
you think you could get away with a crime. Because
I got a guilty conscience. It's the moment my pen
him in and I hang out. I'm like wanting to
fess up to everything I've ever done in my entire life.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Like I.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Say that though, but also at the same time, I'm
very competitive, Like if we all committed a crime, I
would immediately go, well, I gotta get it away with
this the longest, because then I win the game, A
made up game in my head.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Have you allegedly done any crime like stole or like
I don't know, broke in someone's car.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Have you done anything?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, what's the closest thing you've done to a felony?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Im, it's something. But then you guys can't judge me.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
You ripped the tag off the mattress.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
There was one time, and only one time. I'm in college. Okay,
I go into a store, all right, and I see
this guy walking around with nice shoes, really nice shoes.
I gotta know where the shoes are from. I woke
up to him. I say, where'd you get those shoes?
He goes, I made him. He made them their nikes.

(03:03):
Because I know I made him. I gotta connect. Holy crap,
that's crazy. Okay, I gotta get these working. He goes,
one of one, one of one. Oh my god, this
is nuts. Okay, all right, I'll see you later. I
walk away, okay, walk up to the Little Candy bart
to check out. I take two twigs. I walk out

(03:23):
with it. Bet you guys thought I was gonna do
something with the shoes.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I definitely didn't. I was trying to figure out where
it was going.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
That was.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
I've never done anything, said, have you ever done any?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I mean, I did some patty theft, like back when
I was in middle school.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I was st Okay, that's pretty much it.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I'm trying to think of any felonies that I've committed.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I sold in college. I sold like a gram of
weed for like twenty bucks. I flipped it, okay, sold
over twenty. Yeah, it's definitely in some states can go
to prison for that for several years. Oh well, statue
of him, he's safe. No, I've never done that before.
I made that up to sound cool. What have I

(04:07):
actually done? This illegal?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
That could get you sent to Joe allegedly back in
the day.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Have you ever well, have you ever stolen your parents
credit card?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
And I've given political opinions on the air. Apparently that
can get you in trouble nowadays, whateverything's going on.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
You ever steal your parents' credit card and use it
for the No, their card, their credit card or car
or car? Yeah, you've never done either of those.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
No, you look squeaky clean, are not wrong with it?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Hey, Nolan, Hey Joe, how y'all doing fantastic? Nolan, go ahead.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Hey so uh not really a trouble story of my own.
But on the one of those many nights of getting
down that YouTube rabbit hole, I came across the video
of a little boy lived in a village somewhere that
remembered his past life supposedly and brought the village people
to the man who apparently killed him in his past

(05:08):
life and where he was buried, and to the murder weapon.
And the guy ended up getting charged with the little
boy's murder from his past life.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
WHOA Where do I watch this documentary?

Speaker 5 (05:18):
It was? I've flipping through YouTube and found it. I'm
going to do the research as well, and I'll send
it through the text line once I find it. I
just had to share that with you, guys.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I gotta get that that sounds that sounds make believe,
which those are the type of stories that I like
the most, where it's like there's no way this happened,
but it did. I like this, Nolan. I want that
in my life. I neither.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
I will do what I can to make sure you
guys get it. Yeah, I was like, man, I got
a call in and tell them, but I don't have
the link to share it with them. But I'm going
to tell them about it.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Well, I'm going to google. I'm gonna try to figure
it out. Hey, Nolan, last question, because I can't come
up with it, and now I'm starting to feel kind
of lame. Have you ever committed a crime?

Speaker 5 (05:57):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (05:58):
And no.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
So I got I got in a small accident where
I clipped mirrors with somebody and unfortunately for mere for me,
they drove an eighty thousand dollars SUV and the mirror
was more than fifteen hundred dollars. So they tried to
give me criminal charges for hitting this person's mirror because
he didn't want to go through insurance to fix the problem.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I bumped a car once and drove away hit him run,
but I also got out and checked the march. My
name is Joker.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Five court dates later for it to be a civil matter.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Oh wait, I got a I got a red light ticket.
That's a misdemeanor.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
They'll get you for that, they did, and I didn't.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
I didn't find it. I paid it. What else did
I do?

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I think Joe could get away with it.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Oh wait, I did something. I did do something in
my old apartment. They said I can't smoke in it
one time.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
I you're such a very voy.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Hey, I'm that guy drunk night Okay, theme park, not
gonna say which one no smoking sign and Jed Jamie
and I smoke.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I don't remember that.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
He's his crime. Well, Jed, Jed, Jed.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
We know if we get blocked up, though, we're not
gonna let him do the talking, because he's gonna take you.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Under needs you real quick, needs you real quick around
the air. Uh, you ever commit a crime allegedly? Allegedly?

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Yeah, felony misdemeanor.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Oh, no, felonies. No, Hey, remember when we smoked next
to the non smoking sign? Technically that was a crime.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I guess you, guys, I'm a renegadey Shay.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
You just want to share a story about how someone
solved the murder, go.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Ahead, Well, I wanted to build off of the other
guy story.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
So there's a girl who got a heart transplant after
a young girl was murdered and she was having nightmares
of the murder and actually helped the detectives find the murderer.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Woo, Yeah, do you link?

Speaker 6 (08:17):
I will definitely texted you guys too, because I'm driving
right now. Yes, I just wanted to add that.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Send it over. I need that, Shay, thank you so much.
It's the last crime you committed to you criminal little
I was looking.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
For that movie. Uh, allegedly. I'm not going to say
it's been too recent.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Something recent. Why would she snitch on herself? Wait? Hold on, Cayla,
go ahead. What's the last time you committed a crime?

Speaker 7 (08:43):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Boy?

Speaker 6 (08:44):
Okay? So I was parked in a Bowling Alley parking
lot and I was I left my car there because
I went out and met up with somebody.

Speaker 8 (08:53):
Come back.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
I dropped off at my car my son, who is six,
but no car with me. I pulled out a parking
area and I turned too sharply hit.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
A parks car.

Speaker 6 (09:07):
Ganic mode set in fight or flight. I decided a flight.
I reversed and I took off drove all the way home.
They out loud to my son, even though I was panting,
this is what you do not do, and I kept
repainting it because I was panicking, telling him number one,
don't do what mommy just did.

Speaker 9 (09:27):
And I that's that.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
I didn't.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
Yeah to this day, so far, so good.

Speaker 10 (09:33):
Good.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
You didn't have any bad car. But nobody hit you.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Uh they?

Speaker 6 (09:38):
I mean my car is hold and I love my car.
But they did. I didn't. I don't see it. That's
all that matters.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I saw that matters. I saw that matters. Look look
at you telling your son not to follow your footsteps.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
I panicked, and I'm like, don't do this. This is
not what you do. My gosh. I was just I'm like,
this is so wrong.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
He's like the get away.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
He was.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
He was like, She's like, Mama, no cops, I'm looking.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
I'll watch out for you.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Joe shows a live excited about the wedding. Dad's going
to a wedding. I'm going to a wedding.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I'm I'm pumped for a lot of aspects. I'm excited
for my brother, I'm excited for my future sister in
law Kayla. But something I'm excited to see baby Laney.
It's gonna be a lot of fun though, and there's
some things just I'm not looking forward to at all.
What's that uncomfortable table conversations? And it always happens at
every single family gathering, whether it's a wedding, whether it's

(10:37):
a holiday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthday's going to be this one.
It's your's wedding, right You got your hand raised, Joseph.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Yes, yes. Ever since I saw you write that down,
I have had a question. I told myself I was
gonna wait till after we talked about this, but I
got to know now because my brain Okay, uh, do
you have a seating chart? No, son of a bitch,
so you right, yeah, help me out in to No,
it's not good because more than likely I won't be
sitting with Jet because he's family and I'm not.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
He said, there is no seating chart there.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
From what I understand, I don't think there's a seating chart.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Are you sure you wouldn't see it more than likely
until the day of the wedding unless your brothers asked
or anything.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
I don't. I don't know if there's a seating chart
or not.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Right, Well, let's get back to what we were talking about,
because I need the help too, go with the more conversation,
small talk, all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
So the one thing that kind of I shouldn't say
frustrates me. But one thing I'm worried about happening is
one of those conversations where some family members have different
political political decisions or views or whatever. Some of them
have different religious reviews. Of course you're super woke. Oh yeah,

(11:48):
left tied I shirts and blue hair and ear piercing.
That's me. I just don't want one of those conversations
to ruin one of the moment, be not the focal point.
But I don't want people to look back at my
brother's wedding and be like, can you believe so and
so brought up that at the wedding. I want this
day for Kayla and Luke, my brother and my sister

(12:10):
in law. I want that to be a day about them.
And I know that there are some people who they
will start talking about Trump this and Biden that, and
I don't want any of that. And I just think
there are certain things you can't bring up at the
family dinner table, just in general, like we're there to
celebrate love, We're not there to celebrate like, oh, do

(12:31):
you know how many people are alligator alcatraz I'm I
want to play a drinking I want to play a
drinking game with some of my relatives. How many times
will certain people say that?

Speaker 1 (12:42):
All right? So I'll count for you. I'll help you
count on that eight hundred and four and the ninety
three ninety three. What I got to know is who
do I need to avoid at the wedding? Because I
love your family, I genuine I've known Jed since high school.
I love the Shillings, I've met a bad egg. I
love Country Jed.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Yeah, my cousin Will, he'll be here tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
I love everyone, But there are certain people you got
to avoid right And I want to know right now,
who is that problem starter in your family? Who is
the one that's got a lot of drama attached to him.
My cousin Antonio was that guy for when he was
like younger, he was kind of the crazy cousin. Now

(13:29):
he's I think, in my opinion, the most respected cousin.
Things change. Who is the controversial one though?

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Now?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I got an uncle who's always consistently causing problems, and
I think he does it on purpose because I think
he thinks that's funny. But I got an uncle that
you know, when he's around, something abouts to happen. Okay, okay.
I got an ant who tends to be a little
bit too opinionated with things that they say, and then
it really really bothered or changes the mood eight hundred

(14:03):
four own nine ninety three, ninety three. Ashley, You've got
a lot of people in your family.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
I know what I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
There's specific problem starters, like do you have two family members?

Speaker 3 (14:13):
I would say problem starters. But we know, we know
when my cousin April is around, it's going to be
a crazy time. Something's gonna happen. Yeah, something is going
to happen where we're either gonna laugh, cry or it's
just going.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
To be a memorable moment.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
But what I want to know is, because Jed is
going to this wedding this weekend, does Jed have family
members that he wants to make sure you don't speak
to because he knows like, oh God, if Joe speaks
to this person, it's going to be trouble.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
I want to meet the militia guy.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Oh, he's not invited. He has actually been. I think
he's been kind of what do you call it in
the Amish community, shunned. He's been shunned from the family
for quite some time. I've tried to get in contact
with him because I'd love to interview him and hear
his thoughts on a lot of guy.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Jed consistently says, you're in a militia on the radio.
What are your thoughts?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
You say, I'm a banker.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Keep saying about who you want me to avoid? Okay,
if there is anyone, Okay, Julia, your wedding was right
after the election day.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
It sure was, and we have people from all parties,
and I said, this is my wedding. No one's going
to talk about that. I said it a little bit
more brash than I would say it on the radio,
but you can imagine the colorful language that I met
at bride would say right before her wedding. So, Jed,
if you do hear anyone talking, I'm going to say

(15:32):
it to your job. Tell them to shut up. And
it's not about that. Today is not the day, and
they can take it offline another day. Because you're the
big brother and you're strong and you can fight them.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Or I'll kick their Yeah, right, you want me to.

Speaker 8 (15:47):
Kick Probably no fighting, Probably no fighting physically at the wedding,
but like the the next day, you could fight them.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah, thank you, Julia. Chrisa. Yes, I you have some
ground rules that Jed should lay out totally.

Speaker 10 (16:05):
First off, no talking religion or politics with family or friends.
It's just totally a bad idea. It's always going to
end in an argument. Someone's always going to get offended.
It's just not a good idea general rule with them.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, I mean the religious part I'm not too worried
about because most of us are Christian or Catholic. Yeah,
the politics part is just like so divisive and I
don't understand why it's got to be brought up. And
it's everything you see on social media too. It's like
every time I go on TikTok or every time I
go on Instagram, it's like, quit pushing this subjection.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I know he's talking politics and religion. I just feel
I don't know why my mind is set on this,
but I just feel like as the older sibling, I
feel like you're not more annoyed with people coming to
you and say, hey, when are you having a baby,
When are you gonna get married? Your younger brother is
already marror with a baby, Like, I feel like that's
more of the questions that they'll probably be asking you,
and that will her It take the hell out of me.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
See, I don't get annoyed with those questions because I
think that they're all right questions to ask for certain
family members because they don't know a lot about my life.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
When someone says, hey, I think you're gonna die, Alonge,
but you had sucked.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Oh sorry, damn.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
He is two for two, Which is another reminder that
if you want an uncensored version of the show, you
can watch us on YouTube and Twitch live every morning. Madison, Hello,
by Jed's brothers getting married. We're going to the wedding
this weekend. I'm super excited about it. We're talking about

(17:35):
those in the family, though, that could start a problem.
There's always like that problems a family member. Who is that, Madison?
My uncle?

Speaker 7 (17:44):
Actually, you can't really tell him about any family events.
He likes to hit the bottle a little too much,
if you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Okay, sometimes, don't get me wrong.

Speaker 7 (17:57):
He's a fun time, but he just he pushes boundaries
a little much. He's actually gotten my brother arrested.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
How did he do? Dude? My uncle almost got me
in trouble too.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Like that.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Tell that story right after Madison.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
So he was going around town to all of the bars.
I'm from Nebraska. I live in winter Haven, now, but
I'm from Nebraska. We live in a Yes, we live
in a tiny, tiny little town, so everybody knows everybody,
and all of the bars know everybody. And my uncle
was going bar to bar talking about my brother's financial
status or his job status, or just about him in general,

(18:34):
just dowing a bunch of stuff because he was drunk
and you know, wasn't watching his mouth. And my brother's
friends told him like, hey, this is what's going on.
So my brother went to my uncle's house and they
got into a heated exchange. My uncle swung on my brother.
But mind you, my uncle is he's sixty two years old,
my uncle is and my brother is thirty. So when

(18:59):
my brother got on, he swung back, and my uncle
is the one that ended up pressing charges for assault,
and my brother ended up sitting in jail over the weekend.
It was a Friday night, so my brother couldn't even
see the judge until Monday. And that was the first
charge of my brother ever got first is the last charge,

(19:21):
first and last, Yes, but unbelievable. Yeah, So now the
whole family just kind of disowned him after that, and
ever since then, he's actually done worse things. But since
it's so rough on the family, I'd rather not get
into all that. But yeah, he's definitely the black sheep
and he's been disowned by most of the family.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Thank you for your.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Story about how your uncle got you in trouble, Joe.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Well, real quick. Emory's eleven years old and she wants
to call out her grandma. Hi Emory, Hi, Hi cutie.
Your grandma's the problem. Yeah, why.

Speaker 11 (20:04):
Because she always chakes me and my cousins out on outings.
But she's like, no, no, no, like she always showed
so much favoritism. And she's like, you could have a gatorade,
but you can't have a gatorade because I know your
soat to dry with that bigue mouth of years.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Okay, sorry, go ahead.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Grandma Emery. Where does she get off? What is her deal?

Speaker 8 (20:29):
I have no idea. She's crazy.

Speaker 10 (20:32):
The last question for you, don't I don't want her
at my wedding.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
You're already thinking about your wedding. You're eleven years old.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
She's a girl. See, I'm just a girl.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
I'm you.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Watch last one, last question that I gotta know what's
the best?

Speaker 11 (20:54):
Oh uh, blue dark blow?

Speaker 3 (20:58):
And you know she's right because She didn't say the flavors.
She said the color. No one says the flavors.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Oh yeah, No, I just say give me the yellow one,
give me the red one, and they say yellow, What
do you mean green? They go, I don't know the og.
I like the O g Emery had a great day
and tell everyone. I say, hi, Buck, Grandma, my Lena, Hello,

(21:23):
Hi one last one. You say you are the problem
person in your family.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
I know why.

Speaker 9 (21:32):
So my family is all Latin, They're from Peru, and
if you know anything about Hispanic and Latinos, they're well, yes,
but we're also a lot of them are Catholic, and
I'm gay.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
I'm gay Bowser.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
So they maybe they get a little grossed out or something.
What's their deal? What's their problem?

Speaker 9 (22:00):
Well, my grandmother doesn't like acknowledge it at all. She
told me that she doesn't like that and not to
talk to her about it. When I came out to her.
My mom knows and she's kind of Okaya said, she
just doesn't like me, you know, showing any affection to
my girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Say when you bring girlfriends around, do you show affection
and how do they react?

Speaker 9 (22:25):
I've only been around my mom with my girlfriend and
my grandfather.

Speaker 6 (22:29):
Like my mom's dad.

Speaker 9 (22:31):
My grandfather does not care at all. He likes my girlfriend.
He thinks she's very cool. My mom, I mean, that's
a little touchy. But my mom's also not an affectionate
person at all. But I've always been very affectionate, even

(22:53):
