Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, So I brought this up. Today was a test.
Today was a test to see what would happen if
we didn't do War the Roses at seven ten. We're
just getting close to the end of the year. When
that happens, we got to kind of like look at
everything and go, all right, do we restructure? Do we
keep things the way? It is. One thing that's stayed
the same since the very beginning of War of the

(00:20):
Roses was it's been at seven tens on Thursday. That's
been the case. Overwhelming response. I'm telling you right now,
I said this, and I mean it. If I announced
that we have you know, free cash if you textas in,
which we don't. But if I said that, I think
we'd probably get less texts than what we got. Regarding
the future of War of the Roses, we ain't changing

(00:44):
in the time. It's very evident that this is a
very important time now seven thirty at this time, if
you're listening, we do it on Tuesdays, maybe that's the
day that it needs to change. We'll continue to go
through the files and all that, look at it at
the end of the day. If you're listening right now,
we value your opinion you should be the ones making

(01:06):
the opinions, not us, because you're the one listening. So
good news for those that like war the Roses at
seven ten on Thursdays. I'm going to send this all
to our boss. He knows that he wants to give us,
you know, the best show and stuff like that. Tommy
ain't gonna change the time. So there you go, ninety
three FLZ, it's the show show. Our inaugural cruise happened

(01:28):
over the weekend and it was such a success that
I'm proud to say we will be doing our second
inaugural cruise. We're going to continue to keep the inaugural
in it even love that. But the second inaugural cruise
will be announced very soon, so you'll have about a
year to be able to buy your cabin and be
a part of it. One of those people on the
cruise was, in my opinion, someone that I hold very

(01:52):
close to my heart. I know Jed does as well.
I think Ashley does. Two best buddy since high school
the Gooch, the Gobblegooch. What's up good? I was going everybody, Hey,
Gooch on the boat, you said that you would like
to call in. You have a couple of topics that
you want to bring up. This is the first one, though,
I go ahead. Why are you making that phaseuse?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
I think it's funny. Does he just have a list
of things he wants to go down?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Gooch? How many things do you got on the list?

Speaker 3 (02:23):
About thirty two shots?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
What's number one on the list?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
So chronological order number one. We're all gathering there in
the morning at the port and I'm, you know, meeting
everyone or meeting everyone from the radio station that I
don't necessarily know, and Jed is there. Jed comes over.
He shakes my hand like five times and like, I
don't know what's wrong with your hair, but you can
keep shaking my hand. I know you very well, Thanks Jed.

(02:49):
But then his girlfriend's there, and I didn't know it
was his girlfriend, but you know, she introduced herself to me,
didn't say I'm Jed's girlfriend. But Jed never said, oh Gooch,
this is you know, Bradina, this is my girlfriend. I
just thought she was another employee of the radio station,
and I thought I thought Jes's girlfriend was coming. Maybe
that was all a bunch of BF I don't know

(03:13):
if it's that party, but maybe you brought her you know,
in case he had to abandon ship. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Well, I don't know, But did you not introduce her
to Greg?

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I guess why are you asking that question? But you
saw it too, You and I were both staying on
the side, like, is he gonna introduce her?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
He didn't introduce her to a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Didn't you think she was an intern?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I thought he was an inter originally?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yes, well, I one, I apologize. I don't even recall
doing that. I'll recall some of the things that I
did on the ship. You weren't even drunk by I know,
I know, but I'm just saying it was just it
was all a blur from the moment that we got
on the ship, alcohol or not alcohol.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I mean, is that.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Something new for you to have to introduce her though?
Because I feel like that's it's quite often that you
don't introduce.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Her because well, it's because I'm introduce her to so
many people already, Ashley. It's like there are people that
I forget who I've introduced her to, and people who
I've don't realize that I've already introduced her to.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
All Right, so here's the Jed I just flew in
from Michigan. I've never met her, and here we are.
We're not on the boat yet. That's not an excuse.
There was no alcohol flowing. They were in port, we
were on the cement. We didn't even get on the
boat yet. And for forty five minutes, I'm wondering, where's
Jed's girlfriend? Can? I can?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
I be honest too? While we were on the ship
this is day two. Jeff Wagstaff walks up to it,
and Jeff is the reason why we put this all on.
Jeff walks up to me. He puts his arm around
me and he whispers in my ear. He goes, Hey,
which one's Jed's girlfriend? I still don't know, And I

(04:40):
started laughing because Grant spent quite some time the day
before going Jed must not introduce. So why is that?
Like when whenever I meet anyone, if my fiance is there,
I make it a point to go, hey, this is
a list of this is my fiance. They shake hands,
kiss babies. Whatever it may be. What like is it

(05:02):
could be new?

Speaker 4 (05:03):
I don't know. I think Ashley is right on this.
I think it is new. And then Gruc is gonna
come in and say no, But It's true. It's one
of those things where I just so familiar. I'm not
nervous at all, though, not a chance, but I the
part of me inside is that same thinking of I've
introduced her to so many people already, I feel like
everybody kind of knows her, even though I shouldn't have.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Well, actually was there, actually knew what I was waiting
for here?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
No, you were waiting.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
You're like here and not for nothing? I mean, I don't.
I don't want to pile on. Lisa was just like,
is his girlfriend?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Lisa said that too.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
And then she finally I was like, yeah, this is her.
She's like, oh, she's a sweet girl.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Eight four nine ninety three ninety three. Call in and
let's let's have an honest conversation, because I'm sure that
there are people listening right now who are going, well, hey,
Jed shouldn't have to do that. Why why would he
have to do that? To which I would respond, why
is Grant or why is Jed calling in? I don't
I don't know. Also, Gooch, why didn't you say, oh,

(06:06):
who is this? Why don't you make the initiative either?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Do you want to know?

Speaker 6 (06:09):
Where?

Speaker 1 (06:09):
So? Man?

Speaker 3 (06:11):
I did? I asked Joe, but he didn't know.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
But yeah, but you didn't ask me. He didn't come
up to me and say, oh, who's this lovely lady
that's sitting there?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Why would he have to ask? Is the other thing?

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Why If he's an inquiring mind and he wants to know,
why wouldn't he go directly to the source. Why does
he have to beat around the bush and go to you,
Joe or you?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Here's another question then eight hundred four O nine ninety
three ninety three. If you were in Jed's girlfriend's position,
would you feel disrespected as almost Jed maybe doesn't care
about his girlfriend enough to introduce her to other people.
I don't know, Cooch. Let's take some calls right now.

(06:52):
Who's this?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Get us speak phone?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yeah, get me off a speakerphone real quick so I
can hear where your phone? He noo, Hey girl? What's
your name?

Speaker 7 (07:04):
Pain?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
What?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Rain?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
All right?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I m okay ray.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
It, yes, ma'am okay, all right? Hey Rain? What do
you think about this whole thing? Is We've got our
best buddy since high school, the Guchan and uh, the
guch is kind of mad at Jed because well, apparently
Jed didn't introduce his girlfriend literally anyone. Now we have
three people who asked that question.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Well, okay, I understand where the gooch is coming from.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
But I'm on jet side because I am horrible at
introducing my boyfriend to everybody, because I feel like everybody
already knows him.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
He's with me.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
Okay, Hello, it's my plus one, he's my boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I don't get I'm not going with that.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
I'm sorry, guys, I'm on jed side.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
You're probably the minority, Rain, But he's like, Hey, I'm
not sure if you met my boyfriend, but this is
my boyfriend.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
Okay, I can, Yes, I can get better at it.
Got on me a couple of times.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
And wait and Rain, let me acknowledge. Rain, I acknowledge that. Okay,
I am probably wrong on this situation, and I will
improve on this situation. I just I just don't appreciate
Goot calling me out on the radio about this.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
About it later after work.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
Hey, that's a private conversation.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Well nothing's private with us, Rain. One last thing, thank
you for being a first time. We'll talk to you later, Rain, great,
call you later, help our show and call him more often.
We love you.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Oh now, I will.

Speaker 7 (08:36):
I just got in hold on.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah, hey Mackenzie, Hey, Hi, what are your thoughts so this?

Speaker 7 (08:47):
I don't really think pertains to jed situation, but I
have been in this situation a lot where my husband
at the boy or boyfriend stage would not introduce me
to people. If we ran into someone that he was
friends with, like Doc in high school, that couldn't remember
their name, I realized very quickly he was waiting for
me to introduce myself to them so that they would

(09:08):
tell me their name, and he would be like, oh,
that's it now.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
I remember.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
You're absolutely correct, that does not pertain to Jed unless Jed.
Did you forget Grant's name?

Speaker 3 (09:21):
No?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Okay, all right, Just to make sure, Gooch, what are
you thinking so far?

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Is Jed screening these scholars because it doesn't seem like
we're winning the case here?

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, let's see. Wait hold on, hey, Britt, you say
your husband for fifteen years has never introduced you to anyone,
and it drives you insane. You're the side piece.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
Yes, it is crazy to me, Like he will bring
me places, I'll go meet his friends or whatever, and
he just like leaves me standing there to not he
doesn't say anything, he doesn't introduce me. It's so irritating,
and heally know who I am. It is He's like, well,
they know who you are. I'm like, well, how do
they know who I am if I've never met them?

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Yeah, that's the other thing.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Why they know who you are?

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Thinking, I don't me speak of them. But it's just
like you don't really know them. You need to introduce them.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yeah, do you that's right?

Speaker 6 (10:08):
And I don't know this person just because maybe they
know who I am, I don't know who.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
They are exactly. Yeah, do you think maybe? Like, uh, actually,
I'm not going to ask it that people ahead, No,
I don't want to be mean.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
No, don't beat me.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
No, you can be mean to me, all right, So
like to me, I don't assume anyone knows Alyssa. And
she's been a part of the show, like you.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Know, you've been with her for four plus years.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Four plus years. We're engaged. When I posted, not to brag,
you know, a million people engagement photo, not to brag
nobody knows, but no, I still make it a point.
And if I know the person and they've met, I
always still just say, hey, this is my fiancee Alyssa.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Well, you're a better man than me because.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
You got to get better.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Je.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
You got to get better.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Jo even introduce me to it on this trip now
and Grant's met Alyssa a billion times. Now that's it
for right now, Gooch, we still have more moments that
you want to come on the show, I.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Said, he's at a list of thirty two. What number?

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I think that this moment has done amazing. I think
that that Gooch might even secure a spot as a
weekly segment where he calls in and fills us in.
Is there anything else so that you would like to
bring up before we let you go?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
So have we talked to the listeners yet about Jed's
gambling or have we talked to Jed on are yet
about it?

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Oh? Right, you texted me last night, Jed, uh tell
us because you you Now, I did some research too,
Grant said, Ask around the building and see what he said.
So you've told some people you won three hundred dollars,
you told some people you broke even you told some
people you lost it all. Grant sat next to you
at the end of the night on the very last

(11:54):
I lost it all, didn't He is that correct. Grant
never said. Grant said he's going to hold his opinion
until he gets in the year because you wanted to. Okay, here,
what did you.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
The only question I have is how much did you
cash out with when we were walking out on.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
The final note nervous when we walked out on the
final night, three hundred and sixty bucks? Yes? I did, Yes,
I did. This is not no, this is not your show, Grant.
We invited you on here. Okay, you're gonna hear me.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Hold on one second. I invited him on respect. Respect
my guest. I brought onto the show. So while I.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Had the money that I originally bought in with, I
gave those chips to Redina to cash out, and then
the three sixty she get cashed out for me. I
gave her the chips before and I kept playing with
the money I had on the table.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Call her up right now, then call her right now.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
And she didn't answer.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Oh that hurts, yeah for you probably man. All right, well, Gooch,
we'll continue want to investigate.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Sounds good.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Wait, last question, you guys, last question, Grant, I love you.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
That's thirty.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Right, Gus, I'll text you. I don't know if Jed
will but I'll text you.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Are you guys in a group chat together?

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Of course?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
How is it?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Right?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Back?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
I think I invited him back down here to come
back my offer gooch? Whose house is better to stay at?
You know?

Speaker 3 (13:26):
The outhouse is nice, but I prefer the stories of
the apartment building.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Sorry, all right, well you're still invited. I love you, buddy, guys,
I love you Jed.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Tell me you love him?

Speaker 1 (13:38):
You do, He's already off the phone. You weren't going
to tell him you love them even if he was
