Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, I want to know a little bit about your pet. Okay,
if if you've got a pat or if you had
one in the past. Like I think about my childhood
dog that passed away and I missed her like crazy.
Your name was Lily. Think about her a lot, and
I thought about her when I read this story, and

(00:20):
I want to know about your pet two eight hundred
and four nine ninety three, ninety three. If an armed
robbery happened in your home, what would your animal do?
Because you know, like I feel like people have like
pipoles and stuff for protection, Like I I know multiple

(00:41):
people with those dogs, Like what are they called the
fighter dogs or something like that or fighting break whatever. Well, no,
but they're like, uh, they're they're angry or something like that.
But then everyone always like, well, my dog's not and
they're such sweethearts. And then you meet the dog and
like they actually but they actually are sweet. It's like
so many like pit bulls, they're so nice, and then

(01:04):
I wonder, like are they too nice? Like what happens
if an armed robbery were to happen in They're like
my dog Lily would just lick them and be like, hi,
welcome into the house, let me I love you Hi,
I love you hi. It's like the dog from up Squirrel.
What would your pet do? Because there were two men

(01:29):
that were posing as perfume salesmen and they showed up
to a Houston apartment and they would act like they
were selling the perfume. And the next thing, you know,
right before the door would open, they'd throw on masks
and they would rob people at gunpoint.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Pretty scary, right, So.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
This woman who is the victim, gets a gun point
at her and the people are like, give me all
your valuables and whatnot. And when she goes to get
the valuables, her cat jumps out and attacks the people.

(02:16):
Those people had to run away from the cat.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
You hit it?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
A cat?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Did it?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
All the mess be talking about cats?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Look at them now?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Okay, now the cat unfortunately did get hit.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
The cat is okay, that's the cat get in our
lives exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
So unfortunately lost one line, it's got eight more lives
to go. But the cat, the cat protected and did
what I would think a dog would do. I didn't
know that cats would do this as well. Like how
awesome is that? So eight hundred four O nine ninety
three ninety three. That cat did that. I'm convinced my
childhood dog would have just licked them at a doverman

(02:56):
before that, who was so protective of me. Specifically, they
had to get rid of Murphy, gave him to another
family member because when my brother Jacob was born, he
didn't like that Jacob was getting attention. So he did
not like Jacob. There's pictures of me. I would ride
him like a horse. Seriously, I'll have my mom send him.
And that was my dog. I like to think that

(03:18):
Murphy would have protected me. Jamie, you have four dogs?
What would happen? One more time? Houston apartment robbed? This
woman was saved by her cat. You have four dogs?
You have any dogs that would.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Protect probably Domino Domino would Domon. Domino is a multie dog,
so he's a small dog, but she is very antisocial.
So I took him out twice because I can't take
him out in public. I took him out one time
the floor in the corn for because I went for
my dad and this guy tried petting him and I

(03:52):
was holding him and Domino literally growled and tried to
bite him.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Really and when that happens, are you getting freaked out
because if Domino bites, then what do you got it?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
You gotta I have to.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
I have to hold his mouth. I have to hold
him out. Yeah. And then the second time, we're at
Walmart going Christmas shopping for the Christmas tree, and there
was an old lady passing by. It's just like in
her eighties, and he's like, oh, he's so cute. And
then Domino's in the cart. You know, all you're here
is like, he's gonna freaking growl. And I literally he's

(04:29):
very anti social. I can't take him out nowhere. But
the other three they have no problem. They'll lick you,
they'll stuck on your arm like like they're just anything animals.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
So the other three would invite the robbers in and
then Domino would come to the rescue.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Yeah, Domino is just a little spur ball of anger.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I love it. Jamie, You're the best. Thank you for
calling in. I hope you have a beautiful, beautiful rest
of your day. Hey, Kelly, you've got a bowl terrier.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I have, Yes, it's an Amstaff bullet Harrier flash pods
rescue dogs. But I have two goats a goat.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Both of them two really like yep, oh wait, that's
at there you go, that's a goat.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Be nice, yep, what would happen? So the dog is
very alert to their like like their behavior would alert them.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
And I can.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Guarantee that somebody coming into my house or my yard
would scare the living daylights out of them to see
two goats running at them. And they run fast and
very sharp. I M, it's so funny when you do that,
because my husband's name is Ben and that's what they

(05:55):
say that. But their hooves are so sharp, and my
dog is still alert with them. Any Robert would just
run and be like, oh this lad crazy.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Kelly, I want to meet your ghosts.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Oh my goodness. Well I live close to downtown.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
So time all right, Kelly, we should set that up.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
I'll I'll send you pictures.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
You know what, Actually this is kind of an interesting thing, Kelly. Uh.
You know, with the new year, we're gonna have a
lot to get to the show's kind of gonna sound different,
but in a better way. It's like when a video
game gets a new update. Everything's gonna be better. We've
got a brand new person joining the show on January fifth. Okay,
we have new features that we're gonna do. Shout out

(06:54):
to Jules Uh. He came up with one that's crazy
that we'll get to. We are going to do something
called Florida Fridays, where we are going to go out
on the road and we're going to broadcast in cool places.
Now what are the places. Well, it could be Kelly's
goat farm, it could be your office building, it could

(07:17):
be anywhere you want to want to go. This is
gonna be a lot of fun. No one's ever done
this before. We are going to not We're not going
to go to you know, the typical things that we
used to do where it's like we're on stage in
front of a couple hundred people, like we might do that.
We actually might do that. But I want to do
some things where like we do a show in someone's
living room. I want to do a show.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
You would love them. I watch them, they have harnesses.
We could go to some cool park. We're going to
do it, dare Okay, I will send you a picture.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Okay, perfect, I can't.

your ankles and cling onto your legs unto your shake.

this woman's kitty.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Cat did right right exactly.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
The cat's name was Kitty. Really yeah, cute name.

Speaker 2 (08:55):

which also a.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
