Speaker 1 (00:00):
The show is always changing, growing, and uh, you know,
it could be a change of a segment, it could
be addition of a segment. I'll never forget the first
day we did Judge Joe Show, or you know, when
we brought back War of the Roses, the excitement of that,
We've got someone new coming to the Joe Show. We're

(00:20):
getting new and improved in a major way. And you
actually know this person who could be joining the show.
You're gonna find out very very soon. Commercial free, by
the way, which I love. I remember when we announced
that we were going to be commercial free at this time.

(00:41):
That was exciting for me because then I could plan
out when I was going to use the restaurant eight
hundred four oh nine ninety three ninety three. Are there
simple tasks you don't know how to do? Are there
simple tasks? Like it should be simple, but you need
your parents to hold hold your hand through it all.

(01:01):
My mom and my dad finally told me, I'm not
helping you out on this. I'm thirty years old, by
the way, but I still call mommy and dad four
things like this. I got a crack in my windshield.
I know this sounds I've never had a crack in
my windshield before. And I'm thirty, so I've been driving
for fourteen years. And I called mommy and daddy and

(01:22):
they gave me the answer of you need to figure
it out yourself. You're an adult. I go, what do
I do? Do I file with insurance? Do I call?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Uh, I don't know. I don't even know who to
go to for this, Like I was very Uh, I
don't know. I have a lot of anxiety to do
you know how to change a windshield thing? What do
you do?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
You contact your insurance people?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
But I hear you don't do that. What do you mean, well,
because if you do, if you do the windshield thing,
they raise your rates.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
I didn't have that issue with my people.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
How do you know did you look at your rates? No?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Because I called them and they end up giving my
insurance it went up because I got a speeding team.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Oh yeah, sure, I mention they told you that they
probably the windiep.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Ticket up the year.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
But no, yeah, I just contact my insurance and they
tell me like, okay, like someone contacts someone of those,
I guess fix it for you.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
No, I don't want to because the highway driving it
got me two or three times.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I have to figure this out. I have to figure
this out an eighth and four nine ninety three ninety three.
If you're an adult and you still call mommy and daddy,
or if you can't figure out the tasks, I mean, listen,
I love my My Mom's my best friend. Not today,
not today, Mom.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I call my mom and I grocery shop and I
need to help picking out certain foods or certain meats.
I'm like, hey, is this meat better than this meat?
She's like, yeah, I get this one. So I need
help picking out groceries.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
And she helps you.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, we FaceTime in the grocery store.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Then we then we like your mom. Yeah, how about that? Hey, Julia,
do you ever call mom and dad for help?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Oh? Yeah, anytime there's something wrong with my corn and
call my don crying And the worst part is my
dad lives in Houston, so there's nothing he can do
about it.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
All right? How about how about even health wise? Do
you ever call like your your parents when you're not
I will call my mom and be like, mom, I
threw up.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Just no, I have a husband who has to baby me.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Now. Yeah, I still my mom and my fiance here
at both. I got to tell two of the women
in my matter of fact, sometimes they can call Ashley
to tell her as well.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I was gonna tell you about your windshield. I have
Progressive and you can just go on the app, like
if you have Progressive, your insurance might do it and
you can just click like, oh, I need a free windshield,
Like there's somewhere on the app where you can file
a claim for a windshield and it's free, so it
won't really impact.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
I don't know, like I and I get what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I appreciate take him care of before it gets warm.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I appreciate you. But I don't even have that either,
So like I got someone else and that different insurance,
different they'll do different things.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
I think it's like a law.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I think it's like all of the you get one
free one in Florida.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
But I'm not that thank you Julia.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yeah, we love you so much. I love you. I
love you, I love it. I'm trying to think of

figure that out. Who's working the glass the glass doctor.
They've got the best song. Who's got the best commercial
song around?

Speaker 2 (04:45):

Speaker 2 (04:58):

Speaker 6 (04:59):
All right, fine, because I'm telling you I work in insurance.
I work for Progressive Igle. A lot of companies you
sell and all those companies they're gonna if you have
full coverage, they're going to go against your policy. Well,
it doesn't matter if you called insurance or if you
go directly through a company separately, they're gonna use your

(05:19):
insurance so it can't affect your real interesting.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Even if I'm paying cash.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Oh no, if you're paying.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Cash, then if that's the case, I want to go
to someone i'm paying call doctor fantastic. You know who
has it, mister Cruz. Oh, I wonder if you would
care if I called him on the Should I call
him on the air?

Speaker 2 (05:43):

I feel bad? No, he'll love it. Let's see if.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
He should be up at seven thirty.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
But if he goes, I don't have them. Maybe you
can point me in their direction. Let's see called the
Glass Doctor. Hi teres so, Hi, guess and you're looking
for my husband. Since we're live on the radio, don't
tell anything. Is he Is he napping? Is he sleeping? No,

the show. Oh cool, Oh, this is this is amazing,
called the Glass Doc. I really hope he has them.

the glass doctors? Absolutely, they're great. Can you call the
glass doctor when you're out of the shower. Yeah, what's
going on? I cracked my windshield and I don't know
what to do, and I called my parents and they
said I had to figure it out myself. I would
have loved to heard that call with your mom. By

(07:39):
the way, she wasn't very kind to me. She said,
I am thirty years old and I need to start
figuring out things myself. Don't worrybody. The glass doctor they're
good people, they're good advertisers. Let me call them felt. Actually,
come to the station if you have to work and

have them figure it out for you.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Well she didn't tell me exactly what did she want
me to do?

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Then you should have called the glass doctor. I'm sure

next month, and he can't even tie his shoes without
telling me him. Can he tell my shoe?

Speaker 4 (09:19):

want to invite Jazzy just in case her dad forgot
to say it. I want to invite you to the studio.
But in order to go to the studio, you have
to give your dad a big hug and a kiss
and tell him he's the best dad ever. And also
you need to say, hey, when I get older, you
got to help me out with things like cracked windshields
and stuff. Even if I'm thirty five, I need your help.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
