Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today on Judge Joe Show, plaintiff Brenda wants a full
refund because her photographer Cameron edited her family photos beyond recognition.
But Cameron's defense, she claims she was doing them a favor,
arguing the family is ugly and she usually charges extra
to fix that. Is there grounds for a refund? All

(00:25):
rise for Judge Joe Show on ninety three to three.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Flz Brenda's your family ugly?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
No way?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Yeah, it's a little harsh for her to say, but yeah, Cameron,
are you going to stick by what you said?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Is Brenda's family ugly?

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Listen, I see a lot of photos and I'm not
changing my mind.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Well, we're arguing right now. Should Brenda get her money back?
Four nine three You could text it at nine seven,
seven to zero. These videos heavily edited, Cameron, you're claiming
that you know what, Hey, this is actually a discounted
rate because normally it costs a lot more money for

(01:14):
the edits.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
I see a lot of families take a lot of photos,
and these are a little bit of an exception. Because
I did you a favor, Hunt, I wanted to give
you the best photos possible, and frankly that I didn't
have a lot to work with.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
Wow, okay, all right, well yeah, if you want to
hear my side of the story, I spent what I
thought was a crazy amount of money seven hundred and
fifty dollars for out one hour photo shoot. We're talking
like maybe two or three poses for my family. And yeah,
you know what, we're not models, but we're a nice

(01:54):
looking family. And let me tell you something. When I
got those photos back, we were und recognizable. And I
just think it is ridiculous and I want the full
seven fifty refund back.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Okay, here's the deal. Is it expensive?

Speaker 4 (02:11):
I'm not here to say my engagement shoot that I
did with my fiance a couple of months ago it
was cheaper than that. But also I know the photographer
and shout out to Risa and you can see we
tagged her and everything. If you want to get your
your photos done. But listen, Cameron, you charge what you charge.
That's not the argument. So well, we don't even have

(02:33):
to bring up the amount or anything like that. The
question is should that money go back to Brenda. Brenda
did get the photos? You paid for photos? Cameron gave
you those photos, but you're not happy with the results.
Do you think that Cameron, you know, kind of messed
them up with the edits eight hundred and four O

(02:53):
nine ninety three ninety three you get text in at
ninety seven seven two zero. I'm the judge, so I
can't really give my opinion until the very very end.
I mean, actually, when you hear this, what do you
think I.

Speaker 7 (03:04):
Would be terrified? Because, Yeah, you can't just go in
and change someone's appearance on their photos just because they
were sent to you. You may feel like they're not attractive,
but there are other people that in their family that
do think they're attractive. So changing someone's photos just based
on how you feel they look that is wrong and
they should get away on.

Speaker 8 (03:23):
If they're making you look better.

Speaker 7 (03:26):
Who says that I feel like I look better? She
clearly doesn't think they look better. If she wants her
money back from these.

Speaker 8 (03:31):
Photos, well, it's all subjective, right, so one side can
say that it's good, the other side can say is bad.
She's clearly a professional photographer and she wants everybody to
look even better. Think about it this perspective, Ashley. We've
had risks to take our shows. Yeah, photos, if you
think for a minute, that those photos weren't untouched or
not edited. You are absolutely.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Correct, but we look like ourselves.

Speaker 7 (03:55):
She's saying that these photos have been altered to the
point where the family's unrecognizable.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That's not cool. I don't know that. I'm on the.

Speaker 8 (04:05):
Side of the photographer here. She's trying to do service
for her client.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I want to look different.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I'll get their dream, all right, So you heard from
We'll just call you the lawyers. How about that, Cameron,
you're being represented by Ashley Brenda Jed or actually, rather
flip that, uh, Ashley Brenda Jed Cameron Jure. Kelly is
on the line now on in Tarpin Springs. Kelly, what
do you think?

Speaker 9 (04:30):
So I'm going to side with Brenda on that because
first and foremost, like, who are you? Who the photographer?
Who are you to judge that a family is ugly?
Like that's how God created that family, you know, and
that's who they are. I understand editing like background and

(04:50):
blurring out things that you know, to make the total
appearance of the picture look better. But for the family
and the words, oh my gosh, no, is our so.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Full refugn thank you? Kelly, Julia, what do you think.

Speaker 10 (05:05):
Crazy work definitely deserves a refund. We just got married
last year, and if I couldn't recognize myself or my family,
I would be pissed. And photos are not cheap these days,
which I'm sure you're aware of as you shop for
photographers and do everything that you need to be doing.
So I think that you're trying to preserve that memory
and how you look with your family and in that

(05:26):
time so completely distorting them as bonkers. And I don't
know how she gets any clients.

Speaker 8 (05:33):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yep, thank you, Julia Gabrielle.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Hi, Hi, So I am on friend's side as well.
I think that you know, coming coming from someone who
has done professional modeling actually through Tampa and Orlando area. Yeah,

(06:01):
I don't do it anymore now. I'm just a full
time trainer and group fitness instructors. Shout out the South
Side Barbell and Lake Glynn shout out.

Speaker 11 (06:16):
But anyways, yeah, I think that Brenda should get her
full refund, or at least should be offered to have
a retake of those photos, or even so much as
You've got to keep in mind, what if she signed
a contract to then there could be a problem with
refunding as well. You have to counter all those factors.
But I am on her side. I think that's totally

(06:36):
unfair and pictures aren't expensive, and if you're upset with
the quality, get your refund. Girl.

Speaker 8 (06:43):
Question, this is hypothetical. I'm sorry, let me think about that. Okay, Okay,
here's my question, judge. We've all used photos filters on
Instagram or Facebook or whatnot? Question? But sure correct, Yes, no,
I'm saying, I'm asking, is he gonna ask you a question?

Speaker 7 (07:06):
One question?

Speaker 8 (07:07):
Okay, My question is done. I'm sorry, no going, because
it's only I was ordering the court because that it
would be a leading question. I'd be what is your question?
My question is what's the difference between you putting a
filter on Facebook, which I'm sure that Brenda has done before,
and her touching up your photos? All right?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Who is this?

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (07:32):
What's up? Dyna might drop it. I'll be editing that
out for.

Speaker 8 (07:41):
Oh okay, in my mind, never mind.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
What that person would.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
I don't know if they're uh huh, one last one,
one last one. I have come to my decision. Well,
we'll see if you guys like the decision. But I
actually we don't even need to go to the next one.
I've come to my decision. Sometimes I'm make popular decisions.
Sometimes people are very happy with it. Other times we
can go to an appeals court, and maybe it is

(08:05):
time to do so, because Brenda, unfortunately I cannot give
you your money back. And here's why. At the end
of the day, you paid for the service, and you
got the service. You didn't like the photos. Unfortunately, that's
what's gonna happen sometimes, Cameron.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
And nowhere, nowhere.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Does it say that you do give refunds. It also
doesn't say that you don't. But because of that, I
cannot give you the money back, Brenda.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
That is Judge Joe Show.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
And if you appeal text appeal to nine seven, seven
to zero. If we get enough, we will enter an
appeals court.
