Speaker 1 (00:00):
They were Tampa Bay's number one and only hit music
channel ninety three three FLZ. Can I say something and
then you not judge me? Yeah, he say something and
you can't be like you're a horrible person for doing that.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Let's hear it.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
So I do a lot of laundry. I love doing
the laundry. I love folding clothes. I love the smell
of the clothes. I like doing that. I like to
cook certain foods. I love doing it. I love putting
it in the containers and then texting Alyssa while she's
at work and be like, hey, I prepped out meals

(00:36):
for the next like three or four days. I like that.
I don't like cleaning. Cleaning is my least favorite thing
of all time. Okay, I hate it. It's just it
bothers me. I don't know why. I don't know what
it is. I don't like it. Okay, okay, one more time.
Can I say something? You're not be mad? Yeah? I

(00:57):
melted a ton of plastic wear of ours how with
a lighter Why so I could blame the dishwasher? Oh
my god, I took a bunch of plastic where lighter
right to it started to morph. It right, look funny.
I then waited for it to cool off, because obviously

(01:17):
I don't want to put any plastic, like, you know,
I don't want to ruin my dishwasher. Well, once it finished,
I put it back in there. Okay, closed it left it. Oops.
Alyssa goes in there. She goes, what the heck happened?
What do you mean what happened? She's like, what happened?
I don't know. I started the dishwasher, Like is there
something wrong? She's like, what did you click a different setting?

(01:40):
And I was like, I don't know. I clicked the buttons.
I didn't know what to do. Blame dumb. She goes,
you know what, I'm just going to take care of this.
Got her? I got her? Got her? There have you
ever done that? Of course?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Like I just don't want to do something right now,
so I gotta act like I or you what is
the word?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I'm looking for it purposely after that, so you never
have to do it again.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yes, When I was younger, I remember when my mom
was trying to make me wash clothes. I'm like, I
do not want to wash these clothes. I literally just
want to go hang out with my friends. So I
would purposely throw something in the all whites, like a
red shirt, and it would destroy my It would be
my clothes, it wouldn't be hers, and she'd be upset
because now she's got to go buy your new school clothes.
Like min, I told you, I just don't get it.
I'm sorry, and then eventually, you know, I started doing it.

(02:22):
But yeah, I purposely will mess up eight hundred and
four ninety three ninety three if you do that? Were
you purposely f up so that you don't have to
do something? Is anyone willing to admit that. I gotta
be honest with you. I feel like an absolute genius.
I just do and I'm sorry. I don't know. It's

(02:42):
just I do it when I just don't want to
be when I don't want to do it.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah I do. Yeah, I didn't want to do it
and someone could. Are you You know what? It took
you more time to sabotage all of that, and you're right,
it definitely did. But it will save me time in
the future. This is an investment. I don't think that
Alyssa will ever trust me to turn on the dishwasherever?
You gotta do it?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah, when I go home and visit my mom and
my sister Megan is there. I never make the bacon
because I always tell me I always burn the bacon,
and I'll intentionally burn it. So then, because my nephew
Harrison loves it too, I'm like, oh no, I me
and Harrison can have bacon. So my sister makes it.
I'm like, Megan, see you make it the best now.
I actually did that when I was home with a

(03:23):
week and a half ago.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I always say say if I shared a brain with someone,
it's definitely with Ashley. This is good stuff eight hundred
and four O ninety three ninety three. You can always
text in at ninety seven seven two zero. Also hit
us up in our live chat on Twitch. It has
become quite the fun spot to hang out with us.
All you gotta do is search The Joe Show sucks.

(03:49):
Here's the other thing too well. Here First, before we
get to that, here, Terry, let me talk to Dan
real quick. Hey Dan, Hey, how are you fantastic? Dan?
Do you have or do that where you purposely mess
up so you don't have to do it ever again?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I tristly don't have that luxury. I'm a single guy,
live my own life. But I'm a little disappointed. I
gotta say that you did that and you're willing to
admit it on the air, because I'm betting your girl
listens to your show, and now you look like you're not. Yeah,
I think you're just caused yourself a little bit more
problems than left.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
He ain't wrong now he's always gonna be doing.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I mean seriously, running the dishwasher like incredibly easy.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Unloading. What's the worst?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Loading it or unloading?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Unloading it there's still water and wipe off the water.
I hate it. I cannot stand it. I would rather
hand wash everything.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I'm unloading the dog. Dishwasher is the hardest part, for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Amen, But why is that the case? Though? It's harder
to do that, and it's also that's the worst part
about laundry, the laundry. We got to figure this out, guys.
I was like, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
I think with a dishwasher, for example, it's because you
don't put all the dishes in there in one day.
It takes meals. But when you're unloaded, it's like, oh man,
it's like procrastinating.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, Dan, you bring up all great points. Love when
you call in Rachel Hello, you have purposely missed the
laundry for quite some time.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
That's been about twenty four years of not having to
do my husband's laundry. It's been wonderful. It's the best
mistake I ever made in my life.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
What did you do.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
When we first started dating? I think I mixed like
the lights and darks, and I put the towels with
his nice shirts, and you know, I don't know, just
something that made him he actually he takes the laundry
and he puts the basket upside down so I don't
touch it.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Smart.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Hey, Rachel, I guess that there's a name for what
we do. You ready for this? I like this name
because it sounds like very very very drastic, Olivia, there's
a name for purposely messing things up so you can
get out of it. What is it called?

Speaker 5 (06:19):
There is a name. It's called weaponized incompetence sick. Yes,
this is a real thing. It's been like, you know,
you do something wrong on purpose that you don't have
to do it again. Usually the person doesn't admit it
to who they're with, like by seeing it on the radio.

(06:40):
But like there's I feel like there's a difference also
from like, oh, I kind of did it.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Well, Hey, weaponized incompetence. If you knew you couldn't swear,
but you still did.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Uh, it was a slip.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
You do something not so great so that you don't
have to do it again, that counts too. Yeah, because
you're purposely doing it for so you just don't have
to do it. That's kind of a not so great
thing to do. But we all do it sometimes.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I'm telling you, I like every other chore, cleaning the stove.
I actually find a lot of joy in it. I
like when things are dirty and then they're clean. Sure,
maybe it's the dishwasher. It's the fact that the dishwasher
is taking care of the cleaning part. That's my favorite part.
I don't know what it is. But you know what,
I really did think I'd never be doing it again,
and I just realized I totally just said this.
